I just can’t say enough bad things about this store. In terms of qualifying for as a poppy swamp provider, these liars are really at the top of their game.The bait and switch tactics from the mattress tried in the showroom to the piece of trash that clearly wasn’t a beautyrest that they delivered the next day for an additional charge they said wouldn’t be included is really swampy.I’m personally very impressed with the trickery and deceit the saleswoman employed in order to convince everybody she was a good person. Boy were we fooled!It’s been about four or five months now since this purchase of a new mattress from these swampies, and now another mattress delivery from somewhere else is scheduled for next week.In terms of damages, there’s obviously the cost out of pocket for bait and switch victimization. Then there’s also the degenerative disk disease that popped a couple more herniations in the last few months thanks to these terrific liars.We’re deducting one star because you failed to get the customer to sign an arbitration agreement contract or otherwise protect yourselves legally.Overall, congratulations on making it into the Papi Swamp Publishing catalog. You’re all very swampy. So again, congrats.
The furniture is not the quality that you want. For example, if you are looking for a sofa bed and they show you a sofa that they can make into a sofa bed. Dont buy it go to a furniture store that actually has the bed because the mattress that they have on there sofa bed are not meant for a dog to sleep on horrible like sleeping on the wire. The store manager on Niagara falls Blvd. Is rude and disrespectful. That platinum protection plan is not worth the paper its written on. They want to give you mismatch furniture if its out of stock. I used to be a customer but their furniture quality is bad now.
Went to this store on Niagara falls Blvd after 5years of not stepping foot in it due to a bad experience. We had a wonderful experience and picked up what we needed at a reasonable price. We went to another store, the outlet on Transit afterwards and found the other part of what we needed and again, great job by the employees/sales staff.
I love that place. When me and my wife walked in to the store one of the gentleman approached to us. He has beautiful smile on his face. His name is Al Bubwee. He will help everything what you need just like he helped us. I purchased two sofa and a carpet. Love it. If you decided to buy furniture don’t forget Ramour and Flanigan Furniture Store.
Ive spent over $14000 with this company over the past 6 years. Even bought warranties. Been waiting on a repair for over 4 months. Was told Id get a new chair in a timely fashion if the repair couldnt be made. Not sure what timely Fn fashion means to them but I want a new chair. Store has 2 days to deliver good service or the chair is going through their front window.
The salesperson was wonderful and super helpful, she gets 5 stars - thank you Noreen!! The problem comes after the furniture was delivered. All the reclining electronic mechanisms were checked by the delivery men and all worked. The mechanisms were all checked with no one sitting in the furniture. Once the delivery team left and we were able to actually use the furniture we found the mechanism in the recliner did not work properly when someone was sitting in it. We called service and they said the soonest we could get support to the house was in 10 days AND we would have to take time off work to be here for them. This is an $8000 furniture set and we have to wait 2 weeks for repair? If we bought new they could have it here in 2 days so why so long for service or replacement? This is completely unacceptable. They say you get what you pay for which is why I came to R & F but I guess theyre the same as everyone else. Once theyre paid they could care less. Thanks to Liana at the service center for being no help whatsoever!
After a NIGHTMARE experience at a less expensive, lower quality furniture chain in the area(I ended up canceling a $3,100 order)I’m so glad I went to Raymour & Flanigan on the Boulevard. Al was the salesman that took care of me & he was WONDERFUL! What a refreshing change - not pushy, very knowledgeable, & extremely honest! I could tell he was listening to me & paying attention to my wants I needs. I ended up spending another $1,000, but it was well worth it! The difference in quality alone was worth it. Love my new bed & bedroom set!
I got the best sales person named Noreen, she was very patient and very knowledgeable: never pressure me, she made everything very easy for me to decide and always ready to answer my questions. I been to a few furniture places before I went to Raymour and Flanigan and Im glad I did. The first person said hi to me as soon as I walked in the door was Noreen and she made me feel comfortable and offered me drinks. Never had anyone from any other places ever offer me a drink. This place makes you feel very important, the staff are very friendly especially Noreen. I would highly recommend her!!
DEFINITELY NOT A MATTRESS STORE. I would have chose zero stars if possible. We had purchased a mattress from the store in September. We were totally misinformed on how it works with the trade if the mattress did not work out. Unfortunately we did not read the fine print because we just trusted what our sales rep was telling us. Now, we are stuck with a $4000 mattress that causes such pain for my husband and myself. Being a loyal customer means nothing in this situation, good to know for the future, and obviously they worried more about making their commission than actually listening to the needs and concerns of the customer. People really have better luck ordering online. Everyday furniture reps should not be selling mattresses. Our expensive mistake!
I decided to check out Raymond & Flanigan after the sticker shock of Sleep Number. I was welcomed in by Bruce at the Amherst location. He was friendly and found me the perfect mattress by listening to what I was looking for. Although I was sold on the first one I tried, he still spent time with me to ensure that was the right one. I left with the opportunity to have my entire purchase delivered next day. I would highly recommend not only the Amherst location but Bruce as well!
The sales rep was very nice and considerate of my inability to walk well (I was with a walker). She did have another client that showed up while she was showing us furniture, but Im not sure she was anticipating that they would have shown up then. Regardless, she was kind and courteous.
I had such a great experience at this store. Bruce, our sales associate, was very kind and helpful. I needed new couches because my husband was recently diagnosed with cancer and I wanted to create a more comfortable space for him at home and Bruce was able to find the couches I wanted at another store and get them delivered very quickly. Great to work with and I love my new couches!
Dave, our sales associate, was courteous and helpful. He patiently showed us many of the items the store offered. He allowed us enough time to make the selection that was right for us. We enjoyed our experience at Raymour & Flanigan and will be back for future furniture needs. Thank you.
Can we please talk about Kristen at the Niagara Falls blvd location in Amherst. Not only does Kristen make sure you love the furniture youve picked out, she goes above and by getting your rooms layout and measurements to ensure the furniture fits or is the right style for the room youre trying to furnish. Kristen was so professional, witty, and kind. She made my experience of picking out living room decor very enjoyable and remained patient throughout my indecisiveness. Kristen kept a positive attitude while being attentive/empathetic towards my needs and wants. She has such a beautiful soul, and Im looking forward to working with her in the future when I furnish the next room in my home. in my home. Thank you Kristen, you are so Awesome!!! Honestly we have purchased from Raymour previously and found the shopping experience fine with no issues but our most recent was without doubt not what a consumer expects. We ordered a dining room set, 4 chairs, a table and hutch, waited 8 weeks, no fault of Raymour, first off it was made in Canada and with COVID back orders we accepted this. The problem started when delivered, chairs were not the ones we ordered and table was damaged to the point of needing replaced. The replacement order has not yet arrived yet we get contacted via text and email to call the local store to make payment. This order was paid in full at time of order so we have contacted the store which basically told us just ignore those text and emails. I normally never respond to writing reviews however in this case, you asked.
Sad to say this was my favorite place to buy furniture from and this will be the last thing I purchase from this company. I spent a lot of money with Raymour and Flanigan over the years and never had an issue until a recently purchased a Conrad leather sofa. After they waisted my time and sent me 3 broken recliners I have to yet agin wait for the repair men to try and fix my brand new sofa. The stitching is coming apart and now they are going to stitch my new sofa up. Instead of just sending a new couch I have to take another day off to wait for them to come with the parts for my couch. I have had endless calls and trips to Raymour and Flanigan and three different dates they have delivered me a broken sofa. Never have I ever had an experience like this with a furniture store. I always had a great experience buying from this company because they stand by their products. But today I have a definite change of opinion!
I came in to see if I can test out a couch I was looking at online. Turns out that it was an online only order. Al still worked with me to help me get a sense of the dimensions and colors the couch would be similar to. The process of buying my couch and customer service were great. If I wanted to get any more furniture from Raymour and go in person this would be the store I go to.
Hi we were in the store on the boulevard in Amherst and had an extremely good experience there with our sales agent Kristina. She went above and beyond in helping us with our purchase. Very patient and knowledgeable including helping us make the right decision with our selection. I also thank her manager whom was also great.Thanks Kristina for making our shopping experience a great one!
Seriously the nicest people. I ordered a bedroom set, a couch, chair, dining room table and mattress from this location. The two salesmen were helpful and not pushy. They didn’t hover over us when selecting furniture. I honestly can’t say enough good things about the delivery team too. I had 3 different deliveries and they were all so so sweet, professional, and fast. I will say raymour and flanigan is a tad pricy but so worth it. Quality furniture, sweet and helpful staff, and record timing for delivery. Very impressed!
My husband and I went into Raymor to buy a new bed and bought the protection. Our first salesman was amazing. We did not like our firm bed. We wanted to find something softer.When we went back in surprisingly nothing was in our price range anymore in a beautyrest.We then had to go to a different make and it’s horrible. The manager seem annoyed we were there and we felt rushed.
Zero stars, the treatment we experienced, from a manager at the Amherst, NY, store was very curt yesterday. He seemed extremely intent, to not even try to make us happy at all and his attitude was less than stellar, to say the least! He wouldnt let us pick out or order the pillows that matched the couch, chair and ottoman set that we settled on, even though the pillows included didnt match the set at all. This was a forced replacement of our 5 year old set that they dont carry anymore. I think he acted that way because he wasnt making a dime on this deal and we were a pain in his neck. Its unfortunate for the store ownership though, as we were going to buy a kitchen table set or island w/ chairs there, after dealing with the couch set issue. To add insult to injury, he charged us $165.00, for delivery but they have to come anyway, to pick up our old set.?? This isnt a very good policy, especially because we love our old set and didnt want to trade it back. I believe it is a better quality of furniture. All we wanted was our couch leg secured properly and the set cleaned, per the original maintenance agreement that we paid for, instead we were treated like dirt. Thank God, for Customer Service, they were much appreciated that day and very courteous to us (5 STARS). Its really sad that after nearly 35 years and 15 or 20 thousand dollars later, Raymour and Flanigan, will never receive business from us again, all because of an arrogant condescending employee. If you could imagine, we were quite upset and it got a little loud before he told us to quiet down, with a threatening tone in his voice. This spectacle was witnessed by a customer with their family there and Customer Service, employees. My wife and I are both in our 60s now, it was embarrassing to be treated with no respect in front of those people, by that man. The in store experience was great. Karen - our sales person - was very helpful without being pushy or pressuring us into making a decision. She is fantastic.Delivery is a huge problem. They missed their 3 hour window by well over an hour. I had to leave for an event and so I called to reschedule and they told me it would be on the truck the next day. Apparently, the delivery team does not read or answer emails from the store. The next day, I called for my delivery time and thats when they discovered that my furniture was not on the truck and I now have to wait 4 more days for delivery. This wouldnt be so insulting if delivery were free, but Im paying $150.00 to prove their incompetence.
My first time I was assisted by Mike, who was very nice and extremely helpful. Not at all pushy. When I came back in a couple days later to finally make my purchase a wonderful lady named Francesca helped me out, made sure the original sales person was given credit and she answered all my questions. Both were very knowledgeable and personable. I could not have been more pleased with the level of service I received.
DO NOT but from this location. They care about making the sale and then wont care about you after. Really disappointed since I purchase all my furniture from this company. First time at this location. What a disaster. No one follows through on their promises or call backs. Spent thousands of dollars for a table that was delivered with spray paint spots or them to disregard my calls, walk ins. Will be emailing corporate.
I don’t appreciate that the salesmen don’t have the courtesy to social distance FROM A PREGNANT WOMAN trying out new beds. It was like their commission is more important than my baby’s life and my life since it’s well known the increase risk for pregnant women to die from COV*d. I clearly stated that I did not need assistance and even with someone there to block them as soon as we would get on a bed another person would come over. They were like stalkers or sharks with blood in the water. Even after we made it super clear we did not want interactions. Normally the salesman shticks are fine but please have some decency to give a pregnant person their space, especially during a pandemic! A persons health is not more important than your commission, don’t be so selfish! The behavior from employees here was so tacky and cringe that I won’t return. The location on transit is better and less suffocating. Bought my purple mattress from them instead!
After searching four other furniture stores for a new sofa, we finally found the perfect style at Raymour & Flanigan. (Bonus: It was made in the USA.) It was a pleasure working with Noreen, and we were kept informed about the status of our order along the way. The sofa and chair were delivered today, right on time, and the delivery guys were careful and professional, maneuvering the sofa expertly in the tight entryway of our home. We are very happy with this experience from start to finish and will return to Raymour & Flanigan next time were shopping for furniture.
One of the items I ordered was not the item delivered (wrong color bed). A different item on the order (box springs) was torn and arrived with a hole in it. The third item arrived correctly.The manager I spoke to when contacting them regarding the first two items was very nonchalant and dismissive. He advised he would call me back regarding replacement of the bed, but never did. After calling the store three times I finally reached a salesperson who arranged to pick up the damaged item (box spring). I returned the bed with the original delivery.The second salesperson I spoke with did take the time to search for a replacement bed and let me know it would be eighteen weeks before I could get a replacement.I will never order from this company again because of the attitude of the service manager I spoke with. He never called me back or was available when I called to speak to him. He did however, advise me that my issues were no problem for them. I reminded him I was aware the problem was mine.
The salesperson was courteous and helpful in choosing a new mattress. I needed water to take a pill and I was provided a bottle. I tried out a lot of mattresses and pillows and ended up buying both. It was an enjoyable shopping trip with no stress and the mattress was delivered the next day. The delivery and set up took 5 minutes at the most. Speedy and courteous deliverymen.
Took my 12 year old granddaughter to pick out some bedroom furniture. The Sales person was wonderful with her. Found her the perfect furniture and all of his suggestions were right on track. They understand their clients needs. I suggest everyone check them out if you need furniture or a mattress their selection is wonderful
Our visit at Raymour & Flanigan was a totally pleasant experience. We were greeted at the door by a salesperson who gave us the freedom to peruse the furniture at our own pace, did not interfere unnecessarily, but was available if we seemed to have questions. He offered advice but was not over-bearing which is something both my husband and I totally hate. If he had been over-bearing and intrusive, we would have left without purchasing. However, he was pleasant, friendly, had a great sense of humor and catered to our wishes and needs as necessary. If all your sales people are like him, you have a great staff. The selection of couches was amazing and we found exactly what we wanted. I highly recommend your store.
Kristen was by far one of the most incredible sales people I’ve came across. She was so thorough with explaining options and finding me the perfect fit for a bed. I’m blown away by her professionalism and the care she showed me. Kristen, you are a total rockstar and I can’t thank you enough.
My name is Aubrey and I have purchased a 3 piece sectional in June of 2021. First, they ordered the wrong couch at the facility. We wanted the 3 piece sectional and they only ordered the 2 piece. So we had to pay that difference even though it was the company’s mistake but it’s understandable. It does get dirty pretty easy and it seems to be made of poor quality materials that wears and tears in the corners. I did buy the warrenty and will make a claim soon when it gets too worn. But I was overlooking this as it wasn’t too detrimental. However… One part of the couch had a nail sticking out and I actually had the nail go through my foot and was dripping blood on the floor. I will add images. I am 4 months pregnant and now have to call my OBGYN in the afternoon and ask about a tetanus vaccination. Needless to say… we are not pleased. And this is the first of a few nails we have seen but we nailed in the other ones already. This is unacceptable quality and is unsafe… you should not have nails sticking out of your couches. It is seen on the website that “safety is our number one priority”… clearly not if they are selling couches that have nails sticking out of them. Excuse the early morning review as I am a night shift nurse. Again… this just needs to be brought to light. I have never had any issues like this with furniture…
I had been to 3 previous furniture stores before my daughter recommend Raymour & Flanigan. We were greeted and the Consultant was warm & knowledgeable. She spent a lot of time asking me questions as I explained what I might be looking for my home. I highly recommend this experience in making a good decision of your needs & personal style when it comes to furniture. Looking forward to my new sectional!
The salesman, Sam Albert, greeted us immediately. When I told him what we were interested in purchasing, he showed us items that might meet our qualifications without pushing us to look at anything else. He was knowledgeable about the product and we quickly found and purchased the chair we were looking for.I would definitely recommend him and the store on Niagara Falls Blvd!
Our experience with our sales lady Kaila was amazing. We never expected to buy furniture that day, but Kaila was always there if we had a question. She honestly made everything so easy. Kudos to you Kaila!!! Thanks for all your help in assisting us with all new living room furniture!
I’ve always had positive experiences with my Raymond and Flanigan in Amherst until this last order of a couch set. I received several e-mails letting me know the furniture was being delayed. However, after two weeks past the arrival date I was initially told, I started getting frustrated. Every person I spoke with told me a different date, and nobody ever called me back like they were supposed to. Now the couch set is scheduled for five days later again, and the manager was not helpful or apologetic in any way. He was not concerned in the slightest that I was consistently given misinformation, and his overall attitude was one of slight annoyance. He couldn’t get off the phone with me fast enough. Very disappointed and am wary to spend money with them again.
During challenging times, I couldn’t be happier with my experience this past week at R & F ! I had to furnish a new home very quickly and I couldn’t have done it without Dave M. ! He was patient, kind, knowledgeable and worked tirelessly to help me find exactly what I was looking for.
Bia Mansour greeted us as we entered the store. We informed her that we had seen a kitchen set on line, she found the set in the store, which we purchased. Bia is also helping us with the purchase of a desk for Amy, and possible new office furniture for me. Very pleasant, easy to talk to and gets the information requested quickly.
Rick was our sales consultant, he was wonderful. He really listened to what I wanted and my budget. Rick was very knowledgeable and helped us pick the perfect mattresses that were comfortable and in our price range. A very nice man and I would and will ask for him in the future.
We went to get a new mattress. We have been to several polices and it has been an exhausting experience. Bruce was wonderful though. He was very well informed and helpful and didn’t pressure us in anyway. Had answers for all of our questions and was very patient. Went back later to purchase mattresses for our sons as well. A little more confusing not working up front and back in the kids section with a different person that evening, but still overall a great experience. A bit pricier than we would’ve likedBut that might be everywhere.
Went into the store to purchase a headboard and bed frame for the mattress we purchased earlier at R&F. The salesman was friendly and helpful, however, I had a concern about the stability of the frame as it only had 3 supports. I told the salesman that I would not buy that particular frame because of those concerns. The manager suggested that I purchase an additional steel stabilizing frame for $80 that he said has been done in the past for the same reasons. When the headboard and frame were delivered and installed the technician explained that the additional frame was not compatible and therefore could not be installed. Since the original bedframe and headboard were already complete there was no rejecting the delivery and the tech stated that we would be refunded the cost of the additional steel frame. Two points - first, I would not have purchased the bed if I knew that the additional stabilizing frame was incompatible, and second, I never received a refund for the steel frame.
Ahmed was extremely helpful and followed us all over the store since we were looking for living room and bedroom sets. We’d gone to the Outlet store in Niagara Falls and were not impressed, so I didn’t think we’d like the regular store, but I was wrong. Walked away with a new living room set.
I was impressed with the help we received. No pressure. The sales person was very helpful and not pushy. Let us walk around and check out the merchandise and talk between us and decide on what we wanted. The merchandise was delivered this morning and the delivery personnel were quick, clean, professional and very informative. Will definitely go back to Raymour and Flanigan when we need to purchase any more home furnishings.
We just just purchased an accent chair, to complete the new look for our living room. To date, all our furniture has been purchased from Raymour & Flanigan, from the Amherst location, and we have been very happy! Our great salesman Rick, retired, so we were very thankful to meet Kristen, and make such a positive connection. She was patient, had a positive energy, and so helpful to find exactly what we were looking for. In addition, Kristen willingly took the extra time to help us coordinate our paint colors and fabric to complete the aesthetic look for both the chair/room. 👏😊
The sales manager was completely unwilling to work with us on price. No negotiation was possible. The payment process was extremely inefficient. Way too many steps and inputs needed to complete our order that had been already entered by the sales person. It took us 20 minutes just to place a down payment and in the end not all of our information was entered correctly.
We had a bad experience on our visit to Raymour and Flanigan in 2006 but decided to check them out as they carried the Beautyrest Black line mattresses which is what we were specifically looking for.Upon entering the store we were immediately greeted by Francesca. We started looking at various mattresses and testing them. Francesca had basic knowledge but I had tiher questions that she couldnt answer so she went and got her manager Rob. I would have rated the store 5 stars but Francescas mattress knowledge kept me from doing so. She was nice enough but Rob is the reason we bought the mattress here vs City Mattress. The time he spent with us and all his knowledge gained our trust with an expensive purchase.
Christopher Kanaley, our salesman, politely approached us , introducing himself and offering his help to find furniture we were interested in. He had much patience and was very informative to help us buy the living room set that we’d be happy with. I would definitely recommend him to anyone. Very happy with Raymour and Flanagan selection of furniture as well as their service.
We went in looking for a mattress and bedroom furniture. As soon as we stepped inside the door we were greeted by Jeremy. He spend so much time with us making sure my son found the perfect mattress and bedroom furniture. I have been to other furniture stores and have never gotten the personalized treatment like Jeremy gave us. Raymour and Flanagan is the only place I will shop for and purchase furniture and bedding from.
Have been in the Amherst, NY store twice within the last month, both for myself and husband, and then again for my oldest son. Bruce has been a great salesman and taken the time with us so that we could determine what furniture was best for us. We have tried other stores in the past, but keep coming back to Raymour and Flanagan. They stand behind their products and have great customer services that is hard to find anywhere else.
We were impressed with the selection we found, and Lisa, our salesperson, was sweet and knowledgeable without being at all pushy. We enjoyed ourselves so much in fact, that we decided to buy our mattress from you as well as living room and kitchen furniture! We intended to do that at a different store, but changed our minds!
We went to Raymour and Flanigan after struggling to get a bedroom set from another company. We called ahead to see if Raymour had any bedroom sets in stock and to our surprise they had many different options in stock. Audra answered our call and was nothing short of amazing through our entire experience. She answered all of our questions and reassured us we would be in good hands. We received our furniture a week later and it was absolutely perfect. Would recommend Audra and Raymour any day. Thank you for making our experience memorable.
Sam Albert is the guy you want to work with! He was knowledgeable, patient, kind, and an overall great guy! He showed me every piece of furniture I asked to see. He offered great suggestions and advice. He wasnt one bit pushy! And best of all, he didnt pressure me into buying anything! In fact, I left the store on Friday and didnt purchase anything at all! But because I was so pleased with Sams service and knew he was the right guy to give my business to, I returned the next day (Saturday)! Sales associates at La-Z-Boy, Ashley Furniture, and Ethan Allen didnt compare! I visited them all that Friday, but went back to see Sam at Raymour and Flanigan! Trust me on this! Go see Sam!
We were greeted by Chris K at the door and told him what we were looking for. We were never pressured to buy that day. Chris really took his time to listen to our needs and wants and ended up showing us many options. We are very excited to get our new furniture. We will be back.
Christopher Kanaley, our long-time salesperson, once again, helped us find the perfect furniture. This time it was a gorgeous, leather, power recline couch. We test sat many units, and with every one, Chris was respectful, professional, and helpful. The personalized service we receive from him allows us to return for every new purchase. Our house is becoming a Raymour & Flanigan showcase!
I spent about 5k here in the last few months.. My wife wanted to add an ottoman so I stopped by to order it. I asked if I could get the 20% off even though I was under 2500. I probably should have added it on my orders in the past but we werent sure if we had the room. Anyway the salesman asked his manager for me.. The manager proceeds to tell the salesman, definitely on purpose, loud enough so I can hear Oh well he should have got the warranty.. Which I am assuming hes talking about the past furniture I bought. (I did not get the warranties.) Cause to be Frank I never would use it. Even if they are ruined. I am a lazy guy and forgetful.. And I wont remember I have it. Well long story short they would not give me the 20%.. just the 15% off. I love the furniture, I ordered the ottoman anyway to make the wife happy. But I dont think we will be going back. :/Update 3/20.Happy spring! So I emailed address the owner provided below. Told them what happened, found and gave them all my order information and let them know they had great delivery guys. They returned my email 2 days later saying“Thank you for reaching out! Were very sorry for the delays were facing fulfilling your order and we truly apologize for the inconveniences caused by this!...”Hmm what? I didn’t say anything about my order being delayed Courtney.All this time I am wasting over 30 bucks here. I would have gladly paid 100 bucks more to not have a rude manager and terrible customer service. Lowering from 3 to 2 stars for wasting my time.
This was a very enjoyable experience. The salesperson who greeted us was very low pressure. She explained the sales events and how to find pricing and fabric choices and then let us wander checking on us occasionally to see if we had questions. When we did have questions, she was very attentive and helpful but knew when to walk away so we could discuss things and make decisions on our own. In the end we walked away with some beautiful pieces and an enjoyable shopping experience.
Our sales Rep, Kristin, was amazing! Extremely knowledgeable and pleasant. When she briefly mentioned that she had been with the store for only 3 months, I was shocked because I felt like she had been there for 10 yrs. Kristin provided such great service to us :)Thank you!
Absolutely NO PRESSURE, whew. Our sales associate, Larry, was beyond friendly, beyond relaxed, never ‘hovered’ or tried to ‘steer’ us or influence our decision making. He knowns the products inside and out and actually taught us a lot about the differences between manufacturers as well as the various lines each makes which really puts it all in perspective. In the end we made an educated decision in purchasing, not just things that look good ( and they do!), but are serious quality at our price point. We found our Raymond and Flannigan experience fun and rewarding, very refreshing. We were truly surprised, relieved, and happy to have a furniture shopping experience like this one. Without a doubt we will be repeat customers and look forward to working with Larry again on our next project.
A very pleasant shopping experience. No pressure, we were met at the door, directed to where we should begin looking. Knowledgeable salesman, did not lead us to the most expensive items, but rather listened to what our needs were and then showed us where to look. Very happy.
Wanted to add here that our salesmen David Tweed was excellent. Not pushy at all and has a great sense of humor. He made us feel welcomed. It was the first couch we checked out and sat on during our couch search, went all over Buffalo during the day checking out others and came back to get the set!
Our sales person was so great ! No pressure, just helpful and patient. We put together a wish list for dining room, bedroom and a couch. When the house is ready in about a month I will pay and schedule delivery. Using the wish list is awesome because it allows me to pick things out now and wait to pay and deliver which is saving me a lot of stress !We bought some leather chairs last summer and we’re happy with that purchase so we came back to furnish a new place for my son. ❤️
We went in looking for something very specific. Our sales associate was able to help us locate options. Not only did we found what we wanted, we also got a couple matching side tables. The whole process was fast and easy. Delivery was as promised. Now that we have the items in our home, I am happier with our purchase. The sales person was great. She spent quite a bit of time with me looking at mattresses. A very, very patient person. Did not really care for the floor manager, but thats just me. They delivered on time with two very nice and polite gentlemen. They were very helpful on the height adjustment of the adjustable base. They explained everything about it to me and left everything neat and cleaned up. I just got the mattress so I will see if I truly love it. But, I think I will.
Flawless service. No surprises. Very affordable.In store, the sales woman was not pushy at all toward any one product over the other. She really listened to my needs and style until we developed a top 3 list. I was torn between 2 couches in particular. Even though the couches were vastly different in price, she persuaded me toward the cheaper one since it better matched my design criteria. She was so pleasant and respectful.The delivery men were also respectful and patient. I have to give them extra recognition however being that I live in a second story apartment in the Elmwood Village. The delivery men worked my couch up the winding staircase and into my living room with no issues. I am so happy.
Going in to look at mattresses with my husband and we had an amazing experience, we told the sales man what we were looking for he took us right to the beat options for us and we were able to pick a mattress within 15 minutes!! We were cashed out and set for delivery within 30 minutes for very next day! The delivery men were just as amazing in and out in less than 20 minutes and took our old mattress with them. I will be going back in the future for more home purchases!
My husband and I had the best experience with a warranty on our old mattress! The store manager himself walked us through all our options and genuinely cared about all of our concerns in finding the best fit for us. My wife and I went to the store and we were approached by store associate Sam Albert and he asked us how he could help us. We told Sam that we were going to make a payment and my wife asked him if he could help us to find an electrical fireplace television stand. Sam showed us several pieces, but in helped us to get a unique online piece and my wife loved it. We will get our delivery this coming weekend. Great and wonderful customer service. I do recommend this store 100%. Sam deserves a raise. Give him a raise.
We purchased a full-size sofa at this location almost five years ago and it’s still in great condition. The salesman was very helpful when we were making our decision. This week we purchased a loveseat from the Raymour outlet and had another great experience. The furniture is sturdy and well-made and the delivery is fast.
I appreciated the patience of the sales staff getting me into the right mattress, but did not appreciate the bill not matching watch the sales associated told me it would be. None of the discounts that I was told where in the final bill. Its my fault for not paying more attention and I have recommend this store in the past and they have been my go to, not sure I will shop there again after this.
This is a really nice furniture store. Large and full of plenty of pieces to please everyones taste. I was helping a family member purchase a new bedroom set, and Karen our sales associate gave us plenty of time to shop. When we made a decision she was there to offer suggestions, and ideas and lead us to purchase an extra piece that matched the bedroom set but was not part of the set. She was really nice and not pushy. My family member walked away with a new bedroom set and was very happy.
The delivery service for Raymour and Flanigan certainly did not deliver. Upon first delivery of our new bed with the adjustable base, the base was not tested prior to departure. We checked to see if it was working, which it wasn’t. We needed to call the movers back to troubleshoot the issue with no resolution other than a new base being delivered next day. Next day they loaded the wrong base so it had to be postponed again after we made arrangements to have someone there to let movers in. Now day 3, after we requested a phone call for a time window (which is standard and should be done anyways) we received no phone call. At 1230 we called only to find out the movers were in route to our home. We had to scramble to get someone to rush over since we both work and it’s caused nothing but an inconvenience to not only us but everyone we’ve needed to ask for help the past 2 days since we can’t be home. We understand it’s a busy season however all of this could have been avoided had they checked the base working properly the first time.PS- at least we had a great time shopping for our new mattress because Larry was amazing and informative.
My neighbor asked me to take her shopping for a couch and we were very fortunate to have Aaron Drilling for a sales person. He was very detailed in explaining different aspects of furniture that we both had never known and we both appreciated that he was not pushy and he really listened to what we wanted both wanted. I had told my neighbor I was not going to buy a couch and we both ended up buying the same couch.The couch was delivered today by Joe and Paul and I thought they were both fast and efficient. There was an issue with the couch that I tried to ask them about and they tried to assure me that it was okay, but it was not. They had to pick up the couch again. I am still rating Raymour & Flanigan from Salesperson to delivery person with 5 stars. It was not the fault of the delivery men that there was an issue with the couch because things like this happen. What is important is how the Raymour & Flanigan handled it, and I am pleased to say, that it was resolved immediately. I would highly recommend this store.
I expected to have a nice experience looking for a kitchen island at Ramour and Flanigan but the expert service, friendly approach and overall experience really was exceptional. The task of finding what I was looking for was expertly taken out of my hands and I was shown exactly what I wanted, my dream kitchen island. This saved me time and I felt good about buying beautiful, quality furniture, Their staff is friendly, helpful and confidant I look forward to buying more from this store, they are the best.
I ordered a new sectional couch and bed yesterday. I had the best experience in the Amherst NY location. My salesperson was Noreen and she was fantastic! She made the experience so easy. She was as knowledgeable and helpful as I could hope for. I would order again from Raymour & Flanagan, especially if she was the person assisting. Thank you!
Although my sales lady was kind and helpful and she knew her stuff. It is the initial marketing and come on with a magazine and all the hype that is not so hot. I asked for an item in the magazine and the one of the three fellows waiting at the front door for us as we walk in who jumped on me as soon as I came in set all we dont carry those I said well its in the magazine he said not everything in the magazine is sold and walked away. Two stars
Bruce was very helpful and wasnt pushy as well. I actually made a purchase and went to a couple of other places for a mattress, box spring as well as coffee and end tables. I quickly realized the difference of professionalism and quality of the items while at these other places. I wont mention the names of these places but ended up going back to raymour to purchase everything on my list. I will definitely be a repeat customer
Friendly sales personnel without being pushy, they let us walk around a long time to find the right couch for us, over a half hour. Questions were answered knowledgeably and quickly. Walked out with two couches that met all our criteria, including a great price. Highly recommend, will shop there again. Exceeded expectations!
Rick and the sales manager Steve were great. I special ordered an adjustable base and unfortunately it did not fit up the stairs. They took it back and showed me adjustable split base options with the same features. They will do everything they can to make sure you are satisfied with your purchase. I truely appreciated having them on my side.
Absolutely a pleasurable experience. My wife and I were just out visiting the various furniture stores for ideas and Raymour & Flanagan had just what we were looking for. It was our second stop and their prices beat the previous stores by hundreds of dollars. But it was the one-on-one customer service and expertise that sealed our decision.
After purchasing a living room set , we went home, then I started to do some thinking about the prices. The salesman Christopher was a fast talker, so it seemed like he gave us a deal When we decided to purchase it. At home we redid the math. Chris claimed to give us 10% discount on selling price. Well it was on sale already, so Chris only gave us 5% discount. But didnt tell us that. When I contacted him 2 days after to discuss this he said he gave us a better than sale price. Which is true, but, he said 10 %, not 5%.... he claims he never said 10 % off the asking price. He also says , Ive been doing this (sales) a long time....Im sure he has due to the fact that hes a fast talking guy who is misleading in his intentions and prices. Very disappointed by this shady sales technique. I wouldnt recommend this salesman.Update..since last posting regarding my experience purchasing furniture here, I was contacted via email. This advised me that Id be contacted within 24-48 hrs. . This never happened. I emailed them a 2nd time, and the reply I got was that my issue would be escalated and Id be contacted within 24-48 hrs again. This again never happened. It seems that management isnt concerned with problems or issues, they are only interested in hearing about good experiences, not negative ones. I first contacted management 2 weeks ago and still havent had anything resolved. Very disappointing.
Friendly service, pleasant staff and there always seems to be something Im interested in. A good selection of product. Unfortunately, on our last visit, the piece of furniture we selected was unavailable b/c of a manufacturer fire. The manager Dan was able to help us select a replacement chair which we are very excited about.

I took it for a test run and it is supremely comfortable. Additionally it has all the features I wanted. Literally an amazing place to work the Amherst location was everything i miss it so much steve augy and rob were amazing managers unfortunately when I switched to the Niagara falls location the experience was so different and disappointing so i left the company but the Amherst location was so professional fair really a dream job
Paul from Raymour and Flanigan on Niagara Falls Blvd in Buffalo provided me with EXCEPTIONAL customer service. For some background, I ordered a customized sectional couch in June with the expectation it would take 6-8 weeks to be delivered. Due to the pandemic, it wasnt delivered until October. After waiting all of that time for it to come in, it was delivered without the corner piece. Initially when I called, I was told it would take another 6 weeks for one to come in. You can imagine my frustration. However, my entire experience was turned around when I received a call from Paul. He was empathetic, apologetic, and presented me with a variety of options of ways to move forward. He followed up when he said he would, stayed on top of it, and I felt like he really cared about my situation. Just 10 days after our first phone call, my corner piece was delivered. TEN DAYS!! When I was initially told it would take an additional 6 weeks. He took ownership of this unfortunate situation from start to finish and I couldnt be happier with the outcome. Because of my experience with Paul, my loyalty to Raymour and Flanigan will remain. Thank you, Paul!!
We have been looking for something different for over a year! A dinning room set with quality, made from real wood! We have been in Raymour & Flanigan a few times but we just didnt meet that special sales person whose was right for us! Yesterday that special sales person was Danielle.J from the Amherst Location. She showed us a fabulous line that Raymour & Flanigan carries which is Canadel furniture that allows a customer to customized tables and chairs. Ive never heard of Canadel before but I can tell you as a customer the best purchase Ive made all year. Thank you Danielle 😊..
Great store - lots of options for all types of furniture/furnishings, and the salespeople are knowledgeable and really helpful. We bought our living room furniture here 20 years ago, and recently purchased a sofa bed to have available for company. Very pleased with our purchases.
They are not very eager to sell. Only discount offered was the posted price on the website which was the advertised 20%. Essentially everyone gets that. And 18 months no interest when Ashley is offering 60 months is pathetic. We walkedUPDATE: after I posted this review I received the reply below. This must be an automated reply to show people on the reviews that the company actually cares and is working on the issues. But in fact I did reply and explain my issues in depth and have not received any response at all.UPDATE: received a response by a Michael with a customer car team. He said he would contact the store and see what he could do. After that response I never heard back. Nothing was done.
Our salesperson, Bruce, was knowledgeable, helpful, courteous, and honest. He helped us find the best deal for a mattress that fit our profile and was near our price range. I had a great experience with R&F. The sales rep was courteous and really took my needs into consideration. I was in a bind between having my old furniture removed and would have had to wait until later the next week to have the R&F delivery. My sales rep pulled some magic and charm and was able to get a lot minute delivery for Sunday. Quick painless delivery too. I would recommend it to anyone. PS: The sofa looks great and is a perfect fit too..

First time Ive been to the store, but I have shopped with them on line. The store is huge and the furniture is beautiful!! Was greeted by Jim who was wonderful. He found what I was looking for, very helpful and not at all pushy. A lot to chose from, many different styles and just gorgeous furniture, decor, etc.
We made a purchase in the middle of January and we are still waiting for our sofa (it is March 18th today). Also when you call to inquire you will have to be connected to different people for different issues and that can take up to 40 min total on the phone! It has been an upsetting experience for us ☹️.
Chelsea was wonderful to work with. She introduced herself when I came in, and didnt bother me as I walked around, as I was only looking. When I found a sofa I liked she was there to answer any questions. I noticed the difference in the quality of furniture from other stores that I had visited. I would definitely go back!
My boyfriend and I went in pretty close to closing to browse couches and Noreen was so helpful! Once we finally figured out a good price range, we found the perfect couch. Noreen was polite and patient with us and did so much to help us out. We had a stressful day, so coming in to be welcomed by a friendly face was just what we needed. She went above and beyond to make sure we left with exactly what we wanted. I will definitely be coming back for any future furniture!
This was such a great experience. I usually HATE going to any store that tries to sell me something but this was so relaxing. It was like talking with a friend almost. The woman who sold us our bedroom set was exceptional and it is a huge disservice that I cannot remember her name right now. She was funny and friendly and applied no pressure at all. It was all around excellent!
I bought a desk two days ago after it delivered I found out that it’s not ergonomically right. Tried to replace it with other one more appropriate and offered to pay for shipping or percentages penalty but they refusedOther competitors offer returns The no return was not written on their receiptI regret buying anything from them before and recommend that others do the same

HOLY SELECTION!!! We actually got lost in the Sleep Area a few times!! We visited a smaller local furniture business and a larger mattress company before coming here. We shouldnt have wasted our time on the 2 other companies!! The location we visited at 1459 Niagara Falls Blvd in Amherst, NY was HUGE and had multiple bedroom sets in the style we were looking for. Aaron Drilling, our salesmen, greeted us at the door upon our first visit and when we informed him we were just looking he didnt follow us around the store like the traditional high pressure sales pitch given at other stores. After looking around for a while we found Aaron again and he was able to give us small brochures on the sets we liked. It took us a week at home to decide which set we wanted and when we came back in Aaron remembered us and was happy to help. We not only purchased a 7 piece bedroom set for our bedroom but also purchased an additional dresser and mirror for my son to replace what he was using before. Great selection, high end quality, fairly priced, and great employees!!! Well be back in the future for sure!
The salesman was wonderful. He showed me every single recliner and explained the construction, features, comparable prices. I got the BEST chair!!! It reclines so far back that your feet are high in the air, which is a treatment for my swollen ankles.There is 6 month no interest, so you can pay an affordable amount each month.
Another great experience at Raymour & Flanigans on Niagara Falls Blvd. in Amherst. They went above and beyond to help me. Their customer service is excellent. Not only did they phone to update me on our order 3 times but are also storing our furniture until our carpeting is installed.
Chris sold us the best couch, he was so personable that it felt just like he was a good friend recommending a couch. Hes definitely great at his job. I cant say enough good things about coming here. No pressure to buy something you dont want or upselling to make more money.
I wasnt even planning on purchasing a mattress, but the salesperson Patrick was so helpful & informative that I decided the price & the deal itself was awesome. He was not high pressure either. I must say, I really was impressed with the salesmen wear suits. What a nice touch!
Lots of choices, but the salesman was like a circling shark. We kept trying to look at our own pace, and he was pretty much following us around the store, standing way closer to me than 6 feet. There was another employee there wearing his mask below his nose. I didnt feel comfortable.

We ordered furniture from the outlet store for Christmas Eve pick-up, only to find out pieces were missing ,& our old furniture was already moved out. They did their best to inform us on other options available and to get us what we needed!

Great experience! They have Casper Mattresses for the same price as the online/direct to consumer store. That way you can try them out in person before buying. Now we get free delivery to our bedroom (not just the front door!) and R&F are hauling away the old mattress. Al and Steve were great to work with. Well definitely be back.
My girlfriend and I ordered a four piece sectional from this location about two months ago as we were looking to have a nice piece of furniture for our newly bought house that we recently moved into. The salesman, Rick told us it would be delivered to us in the middle of September. It is October 11th now and we still dont have the sectional. Now we didnt make a huge deal about it because of Covid. Its understandable that we would be waiting longer than the expected delivery date. Fast forward to today, we just got an update this morning that our sectional is supposed to be in tomorrow. Finally! But wait, not so fast..Few hours later, we got another update saying that theres a hole in the love seat and they repaired it but apparently still noticeable so now we either have to wait even longer for the new love seat part or take the sectional as it is with the repaired hole. This is ridiculous. We have called this location and emailed them. Theyre giving us the run around and obviously dont care about their customers. How can they not do anything about this? We paid over $4000 for this sectional and nobody from raymour gives a hoot about us. Not only that, but the salesman lied to our faces about the protection plan saying that it would protect us for any scratches or holes given by pets. We have two large dogs and this is a major concern so we said yes to the protection plan. Come to find out, we researched the exact details on the protection plan and it indeed DOES NOT protect for any damages by pets. Mind you this salesman told us the protection plan works for anything. What a scam! Im not the complaining type but enough is enough. Something needs to be done and i would like to be contacted immediately!
Outstanding service with Robert and Molly. They listened to my needs and helped me find exactly what I needed. The experience was stressless...the associates were problem-solvers with a relaxed demeanor. I would buy from R&F again: good selection, easy buying experience and awesome people.

2022-07-10Looking for furniture is always a hassle. Our salesperson, Noreen, did not hassel us, letting us look around before we needed her assistance. She knew just where to lead us for what we were looking for. We did not buy anyting as we had to take measurements in our house to see what would fit. We went to 2 other furniture stores before coming back. We asked for Noreen to help us and she did so knowing what her store had to offer. We were very pleased to find just what would be the right furniture for our house, and the best quality comparing it to the other 2 stores we had visited.

2022-08-02Shopper beware! I have brought a lot of furniture through the years, and I can say they have falling off on the quality level. Once you get the product in your home check it out real will, cause once its in thats it. Also, their Platinum Plan is a joke if you are planning on having your furniture for more than two years. I reported, and set photos of damagesthat had occurred to same Broyhill furniture that we had purchased two years ago. Their final response was to too give us $1500.00 in store credit, but once we used it we would have return the damaged pieces. They gave us this decision because they no longer our Broyhill bedroom in stock. I had damaged to one of my side railing, my night stand, and my armoire. There is no way $1500 could cover the replacements to the damages that occurred, and if I had tried to use the plan, they would have come and taking the pieces andI would no longer have a bedroom set. This is not fair, so I paid off my furniture bill and promised them that they will never see me again. Thank you
