Chris in the mattress department - sooo knowledgeable! We felt like we got an education in how to sleep, what the new mattress technology is, and how to assess what is best for us. She was attentive and allowed us to try things on our own. AND we are happy with our purchase!
Bruce at the Raymour & Flanigan, Canandaigua location, is always courteous and very helpful. My father is disabled and Bruce was so kind to provide a wheel chair to make him feel more comfortable. Bruce has been respectful to my family and I which encourages me to return for future furniture needs.
Chris (at the canandaigua location), was SO helpful! She showed us exactly what we were looking for within the budget we had in mind. At no time did we feel like we were pointed in a direction of discomfort. Within 1 visit, we found the perfect couch, in our budget for our new apartment!
Im incredibly happy with my new bed and box-spring its even better than the description made it out to be. My experience on the phone with the salesman was quick and pleasant. He handled everything flawlessly and professionally. The delivery was right on schedule and in the 1st hour of the 3 hour window. The delivery guys were very polite even offered to remove their shoes while in my house. They didnt even hit a wall or door case coming in or out. Great service start to finish would 10/10 recommend and use again.
Excellent customer service from the moment I walked in the door! Our sales associate Lindsey was so sweet and informative! She was so knowledgeable but not pushy! She directed me to EXACTLY what I was looking for within seconds (no lie)! I would go back and buy more furniture from her in a heartbeat. Great prices. Great customer service. Would recommend this location 100%! Ask for Lindsey she is great!
We were beyond impressed with our experience as Chris K educated us on our options of beds/mattresses. She answered all of our questions and gave us plenty of time to experience a few sets before making a decision! I commend her on her knowledge and patience as we had so many question having not ever bought a tempurpedic bed before.
I shopped at the Canadaigua Raymour and Flanigan. From the greeting at the door and the selection of my chaise sectional I was met with a professional, no pressure, exemplary salesperson. I was so pleased that the chaise sectional that I selected was not only in stock. But delivered into my family room less than a week later. My whole experience definitely deserves 5 stars.
Walked into the store, a friendly lady asked if she could help. She took us immediately to the sectional we were looking for. She was helpful without being pushy in the least. Lindsay did not try to up-sell anything. In fact, we also fell in love with a recliner near the sectional and purchased it as well. The whole purchase took 25 minutes from enter to exit and we left as happy little campers. Hats off to Lindsay.
We were looking for a new mattress. Our Sales Rep, Lindsay, was very helpful in helping us determine which type of mattress we would both be happy with. Once that was settled, we tried several different mattresses. We chose a mattress and we look forward to sleeping on it when it is delivered next week! Thanks to Lindsay!
What a pleasant experience today by in furniture. Staff was very friendly and helpful we asked just to look around at first and they didnt pester us like most places the entire time when we were ready we asked them to come and help out with prices and which they did. We financed a bedroom set and new mattress and couldnt have been happier with the price and quality I would definitely recommend and I would definitely use them again
!!!!!!! BUYERS BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!Maria Harris confirmed that this store and company does not care about its customers after they make a sale. We purchased a fireplace insert by Dimplex that was delivered to our home. While at our home the delivery guys damaged our actual console / bookcase that holds the fireplace in the center. They left our home and the fireplace didn’t even work. We immediately called back to report it. That was January 26, 2021. They gave us the option of returning product for refund. In good faith we agreed to have it replaced. We have called everyone that we could to advocate for ourselves but unfortunately we were told by Ms. Harris. You have no option for refund and canceling your order. Your only option is to wait on a fireplace that was to be utilized to supplement heating over winter months. No attempt to obtain override. No attempt to locate our product. Now she has no idea when the product will be in and basically shared that we would have to simply wait till they get it ! This company has lost its customer service. We are being strong armed by this company that has had our money since the initial order, but have failed to have a working product provided to us in a timely manner. It is now 3/2/21.Do yourself a favor and find another furniture store dedicated to its customers before and after purchase. I would like to be removed from your email listing. We will NEVER purchase anything else from here. Policy No return after delivery. Delivery men failed to ensure product was working properly before leaving and damaged bookcase / console while inserting fireplace and failed to report damage to company. Thanks Laura customer service corporate office for understanding and documenting in our file.
Lindsay was wonderful. She was knowledgeable and ready to help when we needed it. What I liked best was that she was helpful without being pushy or overbearing. I have been to other stores recently where I felt as if I was being stalked around the showroom and did not feel comfortable taking my time. Thank you Lindsay! I will be purchasing from your store bc of this experience.
Christina K was our salesperson and she was so helpful! She helped us pick out a super comfortable mattress and pillows and we are so happy with our choice! She was very knowledgeable. We also needed a lot of other furniture for our new house and we browsed the whole store and she helped us when we were ready. Didnt feel pressured at all. We are new to the area and she gave us some great suggestions for restaurants and local sights to check out. I loved that we didnt have to wait long for our furniture to be delivered. Would definitely shop here again!
The Raymour and Flanigans in Canandaigua offered me the best experience shopping I’ve had in a very long time. I needed a new mattress and had a certain price point. My salesperson Gina was great not pushy and willing to let me pick the mattress I wanted. She didn’t try to steer me towards more than I wanted to pay. 30 minutes in and out and awesome delivery service on a Sunday. Great job everyone!
After waiting since April a delivery of bedroom set was made. Unfortunately it seems to be short the chest and mirror my client thought she ordered. She told the salesman how much she could afford and what she would like to purchase. He went off for a bit ,came back and told my client she could get it all for under what she had. She agreed to purchase. She was handed an envelope with all the information. She doesnt read well,just trusted salesman. Waited until end of July to receive her furniture, to discover that the chest and mirror were never added to her order. She is very disappointed. After 4 months she doesnt even remember what the set looked like?but she and I both remember what pieces she selected. We both learned and lesson. Dont trust anyone.
We made an appointment for a re-pick of a mattress that was under warranty, that part was easy and seamless. When we went to the store to pick out our new mattress the sales person showed us around and when we chose our mattress her response was oh ok, if thats what you want I asked her why did she respond like that.. her response was well thats a budget mattress and really only good for a spare bedroom how nice of her to make a customer feel like a cheapskate! My husband, son and I were taken back to say the least! Not professional at all.I was interested in making an additional purchase that day, but didnt due to the unprofessionalism.
A wonderfully set up showroom hiding in the back of the plaza! My saleswoman Lindsay was lovely and helpful. She showed me the furniture I was looking for quickly, and processed my order just as quickly. She was friendly and knowledgeable, and able to find out information if she didnt know. So glad I went there!
We had visited Raymour & Flanigan about 3 months ago in search of furniture ideas for a house we were closing on. Our sales associate created a quote for us on a sofa set we loved. We returned to look at the set again and to place our order, but the price had increased by $400. The same sales associate informed us she could keep the original price quote since she never closed out of the order. She went to get a calculator and returned and told us, she did indeed close out of the order and we would have to pay the price we saw that day. We ended up getting a totally different sofa set that we enjoyed, but we were disappointed about the price changes and the fact they couldn’t keep their prices the same as they had originally quoted. (I even had the original papers)
Ordered the table and chairs on line, and picked up at store where i lived near. very friendly. came in boxes that I put together myself... on one of the chairs put center bolt into seat part then the other 2 bolts couldnt get in. braced it with the 4 leg bolts. but when i spoke to my daughter about it she wanted it returned.. took it to store and they said should hear something this week,,,, not sure what they will do but something is wrong with the one . they are sturdy for heavy people so with 2 bolts not fitting in to place, will break with time. pretty sure they will do right by her, but am told I will have to put another chair together for her. wht am giving them 4 stars
Generally, I find furniture shopping only slightly more enjoyable than car shopping. However, our recent experience at the Canandaigua Raymour & Flanigan changed thanks to our salesperson(and store manager) Chris. She was helpful, without pressure, listened to our needs & wants, and made suggestions that helped my wife and I decide on the couch and love seat we wanted.
My wife and I were in the market for a new mattress as ours was a cheap model that had settled several inches causing back and hip pain. We went in with the Purple 3 in mind. The sales woman showed us exactly what we wanted as well as several others, giving us a wide range of comfort options. We ultimately went with the purple 3. They were able to get the mattress in the very next and everything went very smooth. I loved everything about my buying experience with the Canandaigua store and when we remodel the other rooms in our home it’s the first place I’m going! My hats off to the staff for the incredible customer service from sales to the gentleman who helped load up our products!!!
The salesman was very good and the store service was very good, I would have rated them at 5 stars for their service, professionalism and courtesy. The store however I have to rate lower because I went in for a specific lift chair for my father and they did not have it in stock and the estimated time to get it in stock was over two weeks with no guarantee that it would be available even then. They had the chair on the showroom floor but not in stock. I needed it as soon as possible and was very disappointed although the chair I had to settle on was still a very good chair. I will continue to do business in the future and hopefully the time constraints will not be an issue then.
Was greeted in an appropriate length of time after entering the store. Sales associate, Christina, was helpful, courteous, and respectful. Returned a second time and was remembered by Christina. Ultimately purchased sofa, 2 chairs and ottomans.Excited to have our furniture delivered in less than a week!
On Friday evening, February 19th my daughter and I stopped in at the Raymour & Flanagan store at East Jew Mall in Victor, NY. We were shopping to replace a recliner. No one ever came over and asked if they could answer any of our questions or to help us. So we looked around but left without purchasing anything.The next day we were in Canandaigua, NY and I said to my daughter that I thought that Raymour & Flanagan had a store near where we were and that we should stop in and see what they had. When we walked into the store a nice sales lady came over and introduced herself and asked what we were looking for a. I told her a recliner and what exactly we were looking for. She showed us where they were and by row what they offered and to look at them and she would be back to check on us and answer any questions we might have. Needless to say I went ahead and bought a chair that day from her.I know there is a pandemic out there but around here numbers are really down. Salespeople have to remember to take care of the customer first. This was a easy sale for her!! I thank her for her help. I will receive my new chair by the end of this week.. one week from purchase... could have had it sooner but I was the one that asked to push but out until the end of the week.
Very nice show room and understanding, patient sales associates. I ultimately bought a Chaise couch and accent chair.I had to wait three weeks or so for delivery and the delivery guys were quick and very polite.I give 4*’s because everything I wanted wasn’t available immediately and the specific couch I wanted was not only back ordered but had 18 customers in front of me.
Good experience for the most part. Gina is a good sales rep...However, the negotiating process which I rather liked with RandF because it gave the customer the ability to bring a level of fairness to the sale has been taken away. There is no negotiating...period. This for me is not sales!! I am a contractor and if I got to run my business like Rand F does now, I would be a millionaire...see where I am going here. The rich are getting richer more than ever now and it is disgusting to me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Lindsey was very helpful and friendly.Update on purchase of second McKinley Sofa 2/8/21:**We are extremely unsatisfied with the customer support from this store in regards to our second sofa not having the 4 legs included. We called immediately and have gotten the run around. It would seem like a quick and easy fix, but nope! These furniture legs must be sitting on shelves in the warehouses, or at least the set belonging to us, since they weren’t included with our sofa. So, after 3 weeks we still have an unusable sofa sitting directly on our living room floor with absolutely no sense of urgency on the part of Raymour and Flanigan to correct the problem. Perhaps you should start marketing furniture this way in your showroom since this issue does not seem to be a priority!
I wanted to wait until i got my furniture before i wrote a review. That being said, my experience at Raymour & Flanigan was great. Lindsay introduced herself to me and I told her what i was kinda looking for in regards to the dimensions i needed to stick with. Lindsay then explained to me where throughout the store i could look and then gave me the time to look around. She was very polite throughout the process and answered all my questions. Even the delivery of my furniture went well.
It was a little disheartening that mostly everything is out of stock, but that is understandable in the current climate. Saleswoman was fantastic and helped every step of the way to find something that I liked that was in stock in could be delivered on short notice. Saleswoman was a 5, overall experience is a 4.
Gina was the sales person who helped me identify what would work in our rather small living room. She also pointed out that on one day only, I could get additional savings. The delivery team was excellent, polite, knowledgeable and wow could he back down through a narrow space!!I am super pleased with Gina, the delivery staff and the furniture. 5 Stars for sure all the way.
Husband bought a recliner for me after breaking both ankles. It was a gift for the Christmas 2018. It was a floor model as there were none to be had prior to Christmas. Because it was a floor model they did take $ off but because we have dogs, warranty was invalid. Now just over a year after receiving this wonderful gift this happens! A very large wire protrudes from the back, making the chair very uncomfortable and dangerous for anyone who goes behind it (dogs and grandchildren). No warranty, what now? I do not think a chair should last only 1 year. My dogs by the way are not allowed in the chair! A lot of money was spent on this gift with the expectation it would last many years. We expected Lazy boy to be a good quality and for Raymour and Flanigan to stand by their products. Sorely disappointed.
We will never shop here again. Originally we picked out a livingroom set and all seemed great. It was to be delivered 2 weeks later. The day prior to delivery they called to tell us it us no longer in stock. ( Did you not notice this when you placed our order, and why did we wait 2 weeks for nothing?) Since we had just moved to our home and needed furniture, we went back to the store and ordered another set which they said could be delivered by Monday. The salesman told us about the optional insurance and specifically told us that even if your dogs paw pierces the leather, it is covered ..We bought the extra insurance. After having the furniture our dog indeed put a small puncture in the footrest of the couch. We called and were told it is not covered by insurance. We were blatantly lied to, and even worse is that the woman on the phone said Ill report your version of what happened to see if theres anything we can do. Soon after we received a call saying that they would look into crediting us for the service call that we paid for to have it repaired. We have had no calls since.
10/9/2019 We were approached as soon as we walked in the store and asked if we needed assistance or had any questions. We let the young lady know we were just looking for now. Once we had looked at a few chairs we were again approached and asked if we had any questions or needed assistance Gina Plante assisted us in searching for a recliner and sofa to go together that high cushions that were easy to stand up from. We found a sofa and a recliner we liked and also bought the matching power loveseat to the recliner. The service was very good and all questions were answered The order was written up quickly and payment was made Current stock as on backorder so we arranged for a call to be made when we could take delivery Call was received today 10/12 /2019 for arranging delivery on 10/19/2019 Good service and fast delivery
My wife and I had a warranty claim on some outdoor furniture that was purchased in 2016. A swivel chair had broke at the base. We were given a credit. No problems up to that point. When we arrived at the Canandaigua store we were told that we had to use the credit immediately. That we were already given an extension. We had a daughter’s wedding and a trip to Europe planned and we couldn’t get to the store. There was no outdoor furniture at the Canandaigua store. It does not seem reasonable that since a seasonal piece broke and there was no outdoor furniture to look at that we had to decide right then. We picked a chair and ottoman that we really didn’t need. The more I thought about this the more disenfranchised I got. We were looking at a sectional at the store and decided against it given the recent experience. We were treated reasonably by the staff during our visit to the store. The customer service manager did a good job trying to help us out.
Very pleasant shopping and purchasing experience. Didnt feel rushed, stalked or pressured while browsing. Sales person was very friendly. Purchase process was easy and didnt feel pressured into warranties, no unexpected additional costs, and received a discount. Would return for future purchases. Thank you!
We were met by Bruce in the Canandaigua store.He asked if he could help, I asked if Lindsay was available, he stated she was off that day.We talked to him about beds and chairs that we spoke to Lindsay about.Bruce took the ball and ran with it.He was polite, he was professional, and very knowledgeable. He was not pushy. He answered all of our questions. He would point us in the direction that we needed to go and let us talk and compare. Then he would return to see how we were doing. He didnt follow us around or hound in any way.A 5⭐experience for sure.
I ended up there in yard woking clothes, yet I was serviced well! I ended up buying 2 electric recycling love seats and a kitchen table (which is what I was shopping for). Way nicer treatment than I got in Monroe County, worth the drive to the country to have nice people helping you!I also wanted kitchen chairs with wheels, they did not have any. Cant win them all.
Im incredibly dissatisfied with this store and their customer service. I bought a mattress from them and was told it would be delivered on a Saturday but never told a time. I called them on Saturday to confirm and ask if they knew the time and they told me they only deliver to my area on Thursdays so it wont arrive till the next Thursday. The customer service was nice enough to tell me that shed call the delivery location and see what she could do, however after several attempts she couldnt reach them. She spoke with the manager who said the only thing he could do was have it delivered to the store on Monday to be picked up, which I dont have the necessary vehicle for. I asked to speak with the manager but she couldnt reach him again, what?! I tried the delivery customer service myself but after 10 mins of nonstop calling received no answer. After 3 hours of this hassle I was still waiting to hear back from the manager. At this point I was beyond angry. They guarantee delivery in three days or less and here I am on day three excited to get my mattress but being told it wont be here for another week. I will definitely never make the mistake of working with these people again and I hope that no one else gets stuck in this mess!
Very disappointed in both furniture and treatment after purchasing a new mattress. The delivery man broke the frame during set up and left it that way and did not tell us. We discovered it later and called the store. The only help we were offered was a random service number to call. This is in addition to the delivery men ruining our new carpeting with their shoes. Zero customer service, unprofessional, and unacceptable. Shop somewhere else! I wish we had.

2022-07-03We walked in store, salesman greeted us right away. We told him what we wanted, he brought us to what Raymour had & we bought it. It was a fairly simple transaction as we new what we wanted, we found it straight away & cashed out. We weren’t there more than 1/2 hr. The salesman was very helpful & pleasant.

2022-03-19Prices are getting so high! I needed a new mattress and did find one; but feel that I paid way too much. Im hoping this Beauty Rest will be more comfy than my old Beauty Rest...but like my Papa says, Its not made of gold! In order to get the 30 day return guarantee, you have to buy a $100 mattress protector on top of the $$$$ you already spent. That thing should be free! Its not a mattress pad, but a plastic backed sheet. Just another way to take more of your hard earned money. Not thrilled. Hoping sleep gets better.

2022-06-28My mother and I were shopping for a lift recliner, and Christina Kansco was so kind, helpful and friendly. She showed us available options, allowed us lots of time to try, and was especially warm and welcoming. My mother ended up purchasing a different color chair from another store, but we so appreciated Christina’s help, and would definitely return to Raymond and Flanigan Canandaigua to work with her again.

2022-03-06I bought an electric recliner 7 months ago and it quit working. When I bought the chair I purchased the extended warranty. I called and made a service appointment and was told it would be a week before they could come out so I set it up and was told they would call me the day before they came to give me a time. They never called so I called the store and they couldn’t even find an appointment. I was told this has happened a lot over the last few weeks. At this point I have no idea when it will be fixed but I learned a lesson. They sell junk, take extra money for a warranty then don’t fix it or follow through. They are the worst buisness I have ever dealt with and I will never do so again nor recommend then to anyone. Poor performance, poor execution, poor everything.

2022-01-05Found my living room furniture on-line but called the store to make sure I didn’t miss an opportunity. Sales rep Ken spent lots of time giving me other ideas to consider. I placed the order Monday and today, Wednesday it was delivered. Just what I wanted!
