Spend $5000 on a desk for my wife and you think they would treat your house with care. Damaged my walls, Flooring and driveway not to mention the desk. 2 weeks later no repairs made to anything but the desk. Its embarrassing when people come over now. 6 Plus phone calls, No appointments to come out just a random $200 gift card in the mail .I just want my house fixed.
I was thinking about buying a couch and two chairs. I hadnt decided yet but the salesperson said I should hold them to lock in the price. I havent decided yet, is this just a hold? yes. I then see an email that they have been ordered. My view or R&F has been changed. Too bad.
Our experience choosing a new couch, end tables, and coffee table was great. Sales rep, Gavin Semon, was super helpful without being pushy and annoying! We had a minor issues with the finish on the coffee table...it was quickly replaced after letting them know the issue.We had such a good experience, we went back to look at beds.
Sales people are super friendly and helpful. Not pushy at all, which I liked. Was annoyed at the pricing of a side table which was almost as much as the coffee table! I would have also liked if they had items in stock at the store, so I wouldnt have to go back and pick up. Love the items themselves.
I have a disabled sister that needs new bedroom furniture. We visited the Raymour & Flanigan in Latham to see if they had anything that would meet her needs. When we entered the store we asked if we could take our time and stroll around. The salesperson (Tim) advised that he would check in with us periodically to see if we needed assistance. It was a great experience because we didn’t feel rushed and Tim was close by if we had any questions. He was extremely helpful and provided us with measurements, sales prices, and expected delivery dates. It made our decision much easier. Thank you!
We didnt have to wait upon entering the store as were were greeted immediately by Erika Presher. In other stores, weve had to wander without anyone noticing us which is an immediate turnoff.Erika was both knowledgable and professional as well as warm and friendly. She was very patient with us in helping us find a tv stand and couch.Erika made the whole experience very pleasant. Tops!
Great customer service. I usually won’t go anywhere but old brick but stopping at Raymour & Flannigan changed that. They had exactly what I was looking for and we’ll made and in stock. Not a 32 week wait like Old Brick wanted me to wait. Sectional I purchased has coil springs in cushions for long life and loose back pillows which is needed for removing & cleaning of fabric. Thanx again looking forward for my delivery tomorrow. Lisa
We needed to exchange our original mattress purchase for a softer one. John, the manager on duty made the experience wonderful. He showed us to just the right mattress to meet our comfort level and arranged to have the new mattress delivered the next morning and the original purchase removed. We left saying, This is how a store should do business! We will certainly return to R and F when we need more furniture or accessories.
Our experience looking for and purchasing a recliner life chair was excellent Salesperson William Brandt was knowledgeable, courteous and knew his products in detail. Gary and Nick delivered my new chair 3 days later and I couldnt be happier with that experience. They were punctual, courteous, careful. They gave me pointers on use of the chair, and were in the house for probably less than 10 minutes. William made a follow-up call to be sure we were satisfied and didnt have any questions. A+ all around!
I went in knowing exactly what I wanted with sku numbers. No pressure to change, courteous salesperson. A massive showroom. My only disappointment was the delivery charge. I thought spending nearly 2,000 and less than 2 miles away would qualify for free delivery. Not so.
I wish I could give 0 stars because sales woman Rebecca Kane ....she asked me if I ever shopped there B4 and I said yes with my mother twenty yrs ago.....I complimented her on her outfit and she responds I like your throw up.......management do not care about loyal customers
Way over priced !!! To meny sales people in the front door. Didnt appreciate sales people peaking around corners ,following, and then they just couldnt answer simple questions. Guess i have a regular salesman but the last 5 times I have gone in hes never working. I feel bad for the guy who gets stuck with me you know the managers who just puts me off and tell me he will let the salesman know I was in ... always the same styles the industry is in a rutt. For like 30 years. The pricing is just out of reality. $2.000 for a recliner 6 months to get one .lol lol seriously
I found my first experience with Raymour & Flanagan, (at the Latham, NY store) to be excellent. I was looking to replace my rocker recliner, which was about ready to bite the dust, after nearly 30 years. I found that the gentleman who assisted me was friendly, professional, courteous, and very helpful. I never felt any pressure about purchasing anything. I appreciated having my questions answered in a gentle and helpful manner.If I had any questions he provided good, comparative information about the various recliners. I felt comfortable that when I was ready to do so, I was able to make a well-informed choice. I came back the next day, and decided to purchase this lovely rocker/recliner with a swivel feature. It is beautiful, stylish, blends well with my living room decor, and fabulously comfortable; suitable for all of my needs, deliverable in less than one week at a reasonable price for the item, set-up and a 5 year warranty. An overall great first-time experience with this store!
All Raymour’s are great places to get an ideal of how you want your room to look like. The sales folks are not over barring, you need a bottle of water, they have it available, you don’t have money, they have financing. You can’t go wrong shopping here. We have purchased 2 coaches at Raymour.
I orders and paid for furniture in full seven weeks prior to having the time I needed it delivered. I was on a timeline as I was moving and was promised that the furniture would be there and told just call to schedule delivery. When I called 7 weeks later, no furniture. When asked when I would get the furniture I was told they had only estimates. My money was held for the entire 7 weeks. The customer service department had no answers and the Manager was rude. I’ll never do business there again. I was totally misled.
I am updating my earlier positive review! Bought a table, spent over $2,000 has a mark, called that day! Was given a number to text pictures too! Never heard so called again! They made an appointment over a week out, now calling to reschedule another week out. Where did any type of customer service go???
I was prequalified around 8:00 am and someone called me within the hour! His name was Mike. He was knowledgeable, courteous and kind. The experience from start to finish was easy and amazing!! I’m getting my furniture tomorrow!! I will never go any other place after this sales experience!
Worst experience you can ask for. Gave away 2 pieces of our order to use on a different order, after guaranteeing our order would be delivered on time. Now we live in an empty house with 0 furniture. Embarrassing business practices at this place, better off somewhere honest.
Decent customer service could’ve been more explicative . Referring to product description and knowledge I was told I have to wait 12 weeks for items to be delivered and was denied financing with a 692 credit score . I had to call for an invoice after payment. I was slightly disappointed. I have yet to receive my dining set so I don’t have anything to say about that. I’ve honestly had a way better experience at Taft if their dining inventory broadens I will cancel my purchase here . Not trying to be mean just being honest
We’ve shopped at Raymour & Flanigan for years and have never been disappointed with any of our purchases. This trip to buy a new mattress and box spring was no exception. The salesman we usually deal with (Alex) wasn’t there, but Michael was an excellent stand-in. He was very knowledgeable about the mattress we were interested in and he was very helpful and friendly. Would never consider shopping anywhere else.
Very disappointing! We were told on Sunday April 25th, when we bought a mattress that it would be delivered Today Monday May 3rd. We never received any updates so I reached out today and was told it was scheduled for Monday May 10 delivery. Pretty sure they lied to make a sale.We have made purchases in the past and had great luck. This experience will definitely impact where I purchase furniture from in the future.
Jerry was our sales associate & he was very nice and helpful. We did some advanced shopping via the website so our visit was fairly focused. Jerry was very knowledgeable & was extremely helpful in assisting us for our final selections. We would definitely return & ask for Jerry!!
I bought 3 bedroom set, living room sofa set , bookcase , file cabinet and carpet . My sell person was from Latham , Albany - Alex Gonzales. He was super friendly with me at the beginning , but once I got my stuff delivered he was extremely unmannered and unprofessional. He didn’t answer my phone neither my message regarding my order which was shipped was incorrect. I ordered from him glider , wall mirror , tv console he even didn’t let me know For those item I need to wait over 3 month!!! He didn’t gave me any accurate information when I was placing order with him. When I called back to Latham manager I spoke 3 different manager there . Omg they were also rude with me. I spend so much with them and the manger was not saying sorry to me regarding the incorrect stuff They got delivered and the wrong information which Alex gave it to me. Thanks service department who helped me to replace my stuff which was defective. I was a big fan of raymour that’s why I bought every thing from raymour but after today the service I received from the sell person n the managers I’m done with raymour and Flanigan.
Me and my girlfriend were looking for sleeper sofa, mainly the Mia Klik Klak, for our second bedroom. When we went there, we saw about 6 sales people just hanging around at a table talking. They looked at us and we were ignored. We saw two other people come in and they were both greeted at the door and helped. We are both younger, so we are assuming that may be why. We couldn’t find the couch and we left. I called a week later to see if they had the couch on display and was told they did but it was in the way back of the showroom by the mattress and beds. We went there a second time and someone helped us right away. He was a new salesman and it was only his first week there. He was extremely helpful and nice. We bought the couch and was going to pick it up on a Sunday since we were moving into our apartment on Friday and Sunday we didn’t have a truck available. Was told that we could pick it up on the weekend no issues, I even said Sunday most likely would be the day we would be able to pick it up and was told that was fine. Saturday comes around and we call to see their pick up hours and was told they don’t do customer pick ups on Sunday. I am not sure how they don’t do customer pick ups on one of the weekend days. So now we are stuck having to wait another week until we can pick it up since Saturday’s are the only days we are available to pick it up.
Absolutely wonderful! My husband and I were in the market for a new sofa....from the moment we stepped into the store it was hassle-free. We were greeted and directed to a specific area...Dennis was helpful but not overbearing. He remained involved until the sofa was safely at our home. Couldnt be happier with this process....and the sofa is AMAZING!
The selection at the Latham location is fantastic. I found exactly what I needed. The pieces were in stock, classy, durable, and affordable. Financing plans were easily accessible. Additionally, the sales associate assisting me was highly professional, knowledgeable, available without hovering, and helpful in explaining all details related to the delivery process. Raymour and Flanigan carries the best selection of high end mattresses in the area. The salesman, Michael Matthews, and store manager, Terrywere both absolutely lovely. But once I paid and left the store problems began. Salesman said they would deliver the next day, received E mail saying it would be delivered in 3 days. I called and Mike said it was amistake and they would deliver next day. Then I receive E mail saying they would deliver between 245 and 4 pm EVEN though I told MikeI would not be available for delivery in the afternoon after 3 pmI sent e mail. No response. Called store. Woman that answered wasnasty and put me on hold and never came back. I tried again andthere was no answer. Finally I sent e mail telling them cancel my orderTHEN at 6pm Raymour and Flanagan delivery men showed up anddelivered the mattress. They were lovely and so far the product issatisfactory but why do customers have to work so hard just to buy amattress and deal with miserable office staff. I will not recommendthis business. Too many headaches even though the ending wassatisfactory it caused a lot of upset in between.
Opened 6month interest free account. Returned area rug, sales person ordered wrong color. 6 months later and I still havent been issued a credit. Call every month and Manager gives me the run around. Waiting for credit before closing account but cant until credit received. That wont happen until they can charge me all the back interest, for not paying it off within the 6 month period. Poor business practices.
The salesman Mike at the Latham NY store, went out of his way to accommodate my needs. Even so far as to personally carry a mattress from one area of the store, and place it on the adjustable bed frame that I was interested in. Which by the way, was located in another area of the store. In addition, he was knowledgeable on the products and had it delivered the very next day!

Her knowledge of the inventory & floor locations were perfect.Aside from the looooong wait time to receive our chairs, which my husband & I found appalling, Alex took out some of the sting of waiting, offering to try to speed up the process if possible. I was shopping for a new mattress. Was very pleased with the service and assistance I received from Lori. She didnt rush or push me and was very helpful. I had chosen one and changed my mind after I got home. Went back and she helped me get everything that I wanted.Was a bit disappointed that I had to wait until next week for it to be delivered because I was outside the zone.
This was the first time we had ever visited this store. We dont live in the area, but had looked on line and saw something we might like. When we arrived, we were greeted right away, and I told the very nice young woman what we were looking for. She took us to that area of the store and we saw several items, including the one I saw on line, and we made our choice. We paid for the item and delivery has been set for Dec. 18th. I have to say that the variety of furniture was amazing. The whole store was neat and clean, and during this time of the pandemic, all precautions were taken to make sure everyone was safe. It was a very good shopping experience and I will surely recommend this store to others.
Sales team was subpar even though my husband and I were the only ones in the store. I dont understand why they cant tell me whats in stock without me asking about a specific product. Simple question what sofas do you have in stock?. Terry couldnt be bothered to look and told me to let Jason know if I needed any help seeing if anything was in stock; I never did meet this Jason and after 20 minutes we ended up going elsewhere. I notice this business has A LOT of sketchy no review just 5 star reviews and Im guessing its insider damage control.
We had a house fire last summer and as a result, we had to purchase all new furniture. Cap was a huge help in getting us discounts, given that we were spending so much. He knows the store like the back of his hand and was able to show us different items that would fit what we described. He quickly learned our style & made suggestions. We ended up getting a good deal and are happy with all the items we selected. I’ve gotten furniture here for many years and have always been happy with the quality and salespeople.
We wanted to purchase some furniture at R&F store in Latham,NY. Our initial experience was good when the sales rep offered us a great discount with a 36-moths interest free financing, which was later declined by his manager. However, a day later the sales rep and the store manager called us back and offered us a better price and also a gift certificate worth $150 which was a great deal. This shows how hard they were trying to earn our business. Excellent customer service. They have a wide selection of Home furniture, including the wall decors. Would recommend R&F to anyone looking for furniture purchase.Update 7/30 - Customer service is not up to the mark. Tried calling several times to file a platinum claim, no response. Was kept on hold for more than 30 minutes and still no response. Tried calling the local store still no help
Customer service at its best! I have purchased several items and in particular a new Beautyrest Black mattress. After a month we were not happy with the comfort level of the mattress and reselected to a better class. After almost 4 months and many uncomfortable nights we returned to the store and explained the situation to the store manager. He was attentive, understanding and best of all told me that He would do whatever he had to do to make it right. He helped us reselect to a different version of the original mattress and arranged to have it sent to our home the following week. Never a mention of Out of time or Unfortunately it is not possible. Such a level of customer satisfaction I have not experienced in a long time. Highly recommend this store for any furniture needs and the best service you will find anywhere.
I called Raymour to discuss what I was looking for. I spoke with Dennis who was very informative about what I needed. However he was not going to be there when I could go to Ramour. He informed me that a man named Cap would help once I arrived. Dennis and Cap worked together so that when I arrived Cap knew exactly what I wanted…It went so smooth. No question was unanswered…I was in and out within a half hour or so and I really didnt have much time as a result of packing for a move. Thank you Raymour.

Shopping for sleeper-sofa and found the staff helpful, and not pushy. They showed us the range of products from cheapest to the top of the line, but did not push us towards any model. This store had the largest selection of sleepers of all the local stores we looked at!
Buying a new sofa from Raymour & Flanigan was a great experience. On a scale of 1 to 10, our family gives it a 10.A knowledgeable sales person asked a few questions to get started and then showed me sofas that would fit our familys needs. After looking over a select group and testing for comfort, I was able to make a final decision. We went to the service desk, took care of payment, and scheduled delivery to be made within a few days. This whole process was done within 30 minutes.Two days before the delivery they called to confirm, and on delivery day the driver called about 15 minutes before they arrived. The delivery crew was professional, and respectful of my home and the new sofa. They had the sofa in place within minutes and were off to their next delivery. During the entire process everything went just as it should.We are so happy with the purchase. If I had realized it was going to be this easy and stress free, it would have been done a long time ago.
Before going in to Raymour & Flanigan, I checked out their website and found what I was interested in. I was greeted by the salesman and he was very nice. I really liked that I was given a list of places I could donate my old furniture to and the fact that I just needed to put 20% down to hold what I wanted was nice! They being patient till my old furniture picked up was nice. If I changed my mind and didnt want it....no problem! How good is that? And...NO I DID NOT FEEL LIKE THE CATCH OF THE DAY! This was a GREAT experience! Thank you!Went back to get the ottoman to match my sofa and chair. It was on sale and the salesman gave me MORE money off my purchase! WOW! The level of deception about delivery dates is absurd. I ordered a living room set in MARCH. The website boasted 2-3 week delivery. It is now July and they are giving me a new date of SEPTEMBER. Meanwhile, my family cannot gather for movies, games, etc and has not been able to for months. We have resorted to oversized beanbag chairs, just to be together, rather than everyone in their own rooms forever. The kids cant even have boyfriends/girlfriend over since that is not allowed in their bedrooms.I fully expect that in September they will give me a new date of November since they have been toying with me that way for months, moving the delivery date a month or more out as soon as the last date given draws near. Completely bizzare that this is considered acceptable. Its lawlessStaff has a too bad, so sad attitude. Condescending and seem to feel the blame lays on the customer for selecting the particular item. How about not saying you can do things that you cant? I feel I have given Raymour & Flanigan an interest free loan at this point. They offer no acceptable solution. The woman taking these calls at the Latham store is a condescending, rude, clod with the customer service skills of a chimpanzee.. Im Just disgusted. I am contacting the better business bureau as I am sure there are regulations about companies following through with advertised promises. I also intend to leave this review on all availble platforms
Had an excellent experience working with Michael. He answered all of our questions and we did not feel pressured at all, especially when we said we were going to leave to have lunch and decide between the options we were choosing between. Im sure he thought hed never see us again! He took our phone calls when we had some questions come up and he was informative and polite. Went back and everything was finalized very quickly, they have a great process in place.
We went to the Latham branch in Mid-November...It started out fine, Tim was our sales person, very polite, good product knowledge... We ended up purchasing a full bedroom set. Some of which was in stock, some of which was special order, some of which needed to be brought in.The custom bedframe was 4-6 weeks out, and Saturday delivery was the only day that worked for us, so we scheduled for December 19th.The week before my wife called to confirm, spoke with Alex, told us that everything wasnt in and that Alex would call me the next day. He Never did. A couple weeks later I called, asked for Alex, and asked when we would be scheduled for delivery, he passed me onto the manager, Meagan, who told us it was schedule for January 19th (not even a weekend).One of the dressers was in, so we scheduled that for delivery. The called the Thursday before, they emailed Friday, we were set up for 8-12 in the am... We waited around until 12:30 before calling and finding out Meagan cancelled the delivery, but no one could find out why.The chest and dresser were scheduled for two weeks later, as well as the Bed frame being in (which was painted incorrectly and needed to be re-ordered).During delivery, the driver backed into the pavers around my mailbox, popping 6-7 off. Took pictures, have it on video from my cameras, Ive spoken with Lisa (also texted photos) at the delivery center as well as a gentleman (David?) with only run-around excuses that it was subbed out and theyll reach out to me (itll be two weeks tomorrow and no one has attempted contact). We are finally whole with the bedframe (ahead of schedule) and everything installed.Awful experience.Please steer clear with the lack of communication and customer service.
Within five minutes of walking through the doors I was greeted by a Home Furnishing Consultant in your Latham, NY store who assisted me and completed the sale of a King sized bed according to my description of need. His service was excellent, the furniture piece I chose was of superior quality and the price was quite affordable. I was very impressed with your salesman Alex Gonzalez. Both he and the store manager assisted me with my purchase. Good knowledge of your products and I was very comfortable shopping there. It was nice to NOT feel pressured at all.The delivery went smoothly. The people delivering my new bed (Desi and the other gentleman I failed to get his name) were personable and efficient. I would recommend this store to my friends.
Great respectful experience. I hate when you’re attacked by sales people the minute you walk into a furniture store. My sales person Dennis approaches immediately but simply introduced himself and then left me to shop. When I was ready to discuss my choices he was informed, polite, and was helpful. I recommend giving Raymour and Flanigan a try.
Great product, sales woman was great. Everything was great until I had to wait and wait on delivery people who couldnt even be bothered to. Call to tell me they were gonna be 4-5 hours late. As I sit here and wait even longer after speaking to deliveryou manager promise me theyd be here in 45 mins, I still wait and grow even more unhappy with my experience. A simple call to let me know couldve changed the whole thing. Guess I could recommend if you wanna pick up your stuff!!
Was browsing around for sofas and over heard the sales team explaining about how they would like to “choke” a customer that “tire kicked” a sale. Completely unprofessional and I will spend my money ELSEWHERE, in hopes I don’t get talked down on for browsing a show room. The sad part is even the sales team manager Terry was among the crowd. Bad look for this store, won’t be returning to ANY location.
Too long to go in depth and as the woman who helped me stated “there’s no reason why everyone should know who I am and the inconsistency with my order”. I had about 7 or more different encounters with the bed set that I ordered online. I was given the runaround about how they have a new system in place and the trial and error with that as if that’s my problem. I was promised that I would receive money off of my order but I didn’t. Such a stressful encounter. I meant to do this review previously but now that I have my order I wanted to make sure that I didn’t have anything else to add in. Very disappointed and don’t recommend the headache!!

He did come back periodically to check on me and offered my information about the chair I selected, as well as the protection plan. Cant wait to get the chair!Highly recommend this man.
Randomly stopped into the Latham, NY location during our endless search for a couch for our new home. Upon arrival we were greeted by an associate named Alexander Gonzalez. After a brief introduction to the store, he let us know that hed be available for any assistance needed and the best part was, thats exactly what he did. I hate being pestered and pressured, Alex simply stayed in the distance but remained close enough and available to answer any questions my wife had. When we found the perfect couch, he helped my wife pull measurements and then made the purchase process very simple. Would definitely recommend the store and Alex.
I bought a new kitchen table from Raymour & Flanigan. It came damaged and I took pictures of it showing the damage while still packaged in the box.I’ve called a few times and never heard back from them about what could be done. They did call though looking for $5.60 in sales tax they didn’t charge me on the protection plan.I like the product, but the service post sale has been terrible.
Went into the store to pick-up a furniture item. After checking with the receptionist, she told me to go around the back of the store to the delivery pic-up area. Went there and waited outside in the rain for 10 minutes. Then I decided to go up the walkway to the door and I rang the bell.Guy said in a puzzled look after I told him my name ... did you go in the store? I said, they told me to come around to this area to pick-up my furniture. Without saying anything he walks away and into the store area. So now Im left standing there wondering what is going on. He comes back 5 minutes later without saying anything after I said, disconnect with the front office?He said, sign here.Left the store feeling very uncomfortable.This guy should not be left to deal with customers as his communication skills are a zero.Sales rep on the phone was great, however.
Cap was very helpful in our purchase. When we had a question he would get us the answer. He helped coordinate our billing and delivery so that we could have our furniture when we wanted it. All in all I will recommend your store and Cap to all my friends.RegardsJoe Melino
Had one of the best experiences buying furniture in this store. Lori helped us and was great with figuring out our style and even giving us ideas on how to make our space flow well. It was like I was with an interior designer. Overall the staff were great from start to finish even the manager Jad was very helpful and friendly as well.
Showroom was beautiful with many options to choose from. Very clean too. I saw Alex who helped me and was very personable and professional. When I checked out the women at customer service where wonderful. I will visit the Latham store again when I need furniture or accessories.
En route to another Albany destination, I did a turnaround in the plaza parking lot and spotted Raymour & Flanigan showroom. Had never been into the store. Within a half hour, I had purchased a lift recliner, thanks to the help of consultant Lori Tynan. Expect delivery this Thursday. Very positive experience.
Great Selection and Great Customer Service! We have been going to Cap our salesman at Raymour and Flanigan for the past 2 years and he always can help us find what we need and for a good price. We cant imagine going anywhere else! Everyone is friendly from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave. Our furniture is always delivered within a couple of days.
I’ve been waiting over a month to get my son’s bed repaired, the bed was brand new and after a month it broke. Every time I call I’m being told part to fix bed is not in. There is no reason in hell a person should have to wait over a month to have a bed repaired that should of never broke in the first place. I spent 1000 bucks on this bed and you guys have no other solution,waiting for a month is ridiculous.
First visit and very impressed. Greeted at door by pleasant, Sales Manager Kas who patiently guided us around the clean, well organized store full of many choices. We ended up getting exactly what we wanted. The furniture is beautiful and well made. Grateful to Kas and our salesman for making the experience successful. We had previously shopped elsewhere and Raymour and Flanigan was the best.
Dennis was highly knowledgeable and incredibly helpful. After a brief description of what I was looking for, he took me directly to the most divine (not to mention perfect) dining room set. It was exactly what I was imagining and within my price range. I cannot wait to have it in my home.
Horrible experience We ordered a chair on October 7th . Was told 4-6 weeks for delivery. in early December(8 weeks after order), we were told the factory sent the wrong chair. Do not know if that was true or not. They special ordered it again and just got it todayOne guy from the warehouse was helpful, but it was not enough to make the rating 2 stars.We were told they were knocking $100 of the price. We have yet not seen a refund or a check.We will never spend another dime there again. Thinking of calling the Better Business Bureau, but I do not think it will do any good.Thread lightly.UPDATEI sent an email inquiring about this, and have not heard peep from anyone. I would not recommend this company to anyone, and I am mad at myself for spending any money with this company. Do not go here. Go elsewhere
After already waiting a whole week for my bed delivery, they thought it would be a good idea to just deliver my mattress and forget about the special order of my bed frame. I had to call them and they said it would be an extra 10 days from now. No one knew and no one in the store communicated to anyone that it would be a special order. Completely unacceptable service all the way around. How do they only deliver one half of your order and not know the other part is special order? They should have waited until the frame came in, to set a delivery window for everything.
We were very concerned going out during the recent COVID infection spike in our area, however Sunday was their last Black Friday sale day. We felt very comfortable shopping at Raymour & Flanigan with everyone wearing masks. Tim Cotten, their sales associate was very informative and helpful with our decision to purchase two mattresses and bed frame
I went to the Raymour and Flannigan store in Latham. Upon entering the store I was greeted by an employee and asked if they could help me I stated that I was looking for Gavin as when I was in previous he had helped me. Alexander helped me until Gavin returned. I ordered a couch, desk, counter stools and a couple of chairs. The service was friendly, not pushy, professional and very courteous. I highly recommend this store
I ordered a bed from there. The staff salesmen were both nice. However, the delivery was a complete nightmare. My furniture was in two shipments. The people who came in to deliver and set up the bed did not even join the supports to the wooden slats. They literally left the wooden slots on the bed frame and did not even nail them in. The wooden supports are literally in a box in my bedroom right now. Also while putting the wooden slats on the bed they splintered the wood. When I called them back to get it fixed they told me they would only be able to fix it two days after when they were delivering my other furniture. So I basically had to put my mattress on the floor and sleep on that instead for two days while waiting for my delivery.And then when delivering the rest of my furniture, they gave me a call that I missed because I was with a patient. I literally called back 10 minutes after their call. And they told me they’d left and won’t deliver my furniture again for another two days now. Oh and also that they were never told they had to fix the bed they’d literally just dumped in my bedroom and left.Never shopping from this furniture store again not because of the sales staff but because of the dismal and pathetic delivery service. Oh also when I called to complain about the broken/splintered slat, I was told they would have to inspect and see if it was still usable before fixing it
No one greeted me upon entering or asked if I needed help until Tim Cotten came along. He was very attentive and helpful and did everything he could to answer my questions. If he had been there when I first came in you wouldve gotten 5 stars! Ill look for Tim when I shop again.
I called this store to inquire about my bed delivery. Order was placed on 6/16/20 but wont be in stock until 7/20/20. A woman here was kind enough to waive the 50 dollar delivery fee. Then the manager Tim told me she had no authority to do that. Eventually Tim offered to waive the delivery fee. Having still to wait 2 more weeks for a bed, I asked for a full refund. Manager Tim said the payment made in cash would be refunded by a check in the mail and the debit card portion would require us coming into the store with the bank card. After speaking to another manager at another Raymour & Flanigan and speaking to management via the toll free number I learned that its not policy to have a customer come in with bank card to get a refund. On the phone Tim said hes been there for 15 years and knows the policy and then had his coworker issue the debit refund. Online customer service was of little help.
I was greeted when I came in and told to help myself to a drink. I then browsed the showroom without any hassle. When I found something I liked, the man was able to check to let me know if it was in stock. Then explained the sale and was able to tell me my exact price without pressure to buy.
Had a great experience purchasing a lot of outdoor furniture. Tim Cotton was knowledgeable of their products and services. He arranged for our purchases to be held until our space was ready and a delivery that was guaranteed to meet our expectations or we could return. Will do business with him again.
I wish I could give the team members at this location 20 stars! From the beautiful showroom, the upbeat music, and to the knowledge of product - this team has it all!! J-Rod was extremely professional, experienced, and kind. His customer service along with the Store Managers was a 10/10. Highly recommend!
While the salesman was a sincere, knowledgeable and helpful young man, the store policies are a bit sleazy.I was told the sofa I bought was made in Italy but a little research showed it was made in China. I had to wait 6 days to place the order because they wanted to record more sales on Wednesday - odd but true!You have to pay through a robo call that took three calls to go through. While they told me they discounted my price - an internet check immediately after I completed the purchase showed my item at a considerably lower price.
My husband and I recently puchased a sectional at Raymour and Flanigan. We were in th store several times before ultimately deciding on the couch we bought. Each time we were there, a friendly salesperson was there to help us and answer any questions we had. The day we purchased the sectional we worked with Gavin and the store manager, Jad. They were both very knowledgeable about the item and helped us to configure a couch that would fit in our space. More importantly, they made sure that we were able to take advantage of the current sale, which saved us close to $1,000. Which we were extrememyl grateful for. The sectional was delivered a few days later and it looks fantastic! Its also super comfortable and meets all of our needs. Gavin also gave me some interior design advice and helped me select curtains that I was considering buying from Pottery Barn (which I did end up doing and they look awesome!). Overall, we were really pleased with the attention and professionalism we received from the staff. The process could not have gone smoother from the day we bought it to the day it was delivered. Im really happy we got a quality piece of furiture at a fair price. We will enjoy it for years to come. Thank you Gavin and Jad! You guys are the best. A++ for customer service!
I love the furniture we purchased. The salesperson spent a lot of time working with us once we decided on a livingroom set. The only thing was we were told the extra protection insurance would cover accidental pet damage so we bought it. After reading the fine print in the insurance brochure any damage by beaks, paws or claws is specifically NOT covered. That was disappointing and I felt the extra coverage was misrepresented to us. The furniture is beautiful though.
New mattress & box spring delivered...was removed from plastic outside and carried into house. Looked great! I ran my hand over mattress and top was soaked, and small area showing through to the bottom. Delivery guys called manager and a new one ordered. Very disappointing, but R&F resolving. Would have had 5 stars because I ordered mattress 1 hr before store closed last night, and I was on delivery schedule today!
We were working with a somewhat restricted area in a room we wanted to modify the sleeping arrangements. When we called the Latham store we linked up with Dennis. He took the time to fully understand our space constraints and budget. In doing so he came up with the perfect solution to our rearrangement. We would highly recommend the Latham store and Dennis as a sales associate.

It’s been over 2 month since we furnished our secondary apartment. We are happy with our purchase and the quality at Raymour.Before coming here we went to a Famous outlet for luxury furniture in NYC and ordered over $20,000 of items. We had shipping issues and the sales people switched items on us and after weeks of drama we ended up sending it all back and got 100% of our money back too!Weeks later we came here to this Raymour store because we saw a leather white sofa set we saw on a flyer. To our surprise the quality was great. And it was only 1/3 the price of the cost of our last sofa.We soon saw other items that caught our eye and ended up getting everything. The sales people here at Raymour were honest and Knowlegable. And the company had all our shippings arrived in a day.We furnished the entire apartment and an office. And we saved so much that we got to buy a few smart TVs and a Tempur-pedic bed. After it was all done.We feel great to have the quality but still saved enough to buy other things after. Just a great experience.
Making a decision to go and purchase furniture for our new house at this Raymour location was the best. The person I work with was so amazing. Me and my husband got there at 7:50 and they close at 9pm and regardless of the time Kas Wahid the sales manager assistant us with such a pleasure. He was patient he never once rush us or even look at the time. He was all about meeting my needs and making me leave with a smile on my face in the end. Kas you are the best and for a first time buyer of my dream house furniture, you make it worth ever moment. Jarrod was very helpful and went above and beyond to find the specific item we were looking for. There was no pressure, he let us browse and checked back at intervals that allowed us to make a decision we were comfortable with. Employees are great. Always helpful and managers there to assist when you have a issue. Which you will have. The furniture is low end even for particle wood & glue type furniture. On my second bedroom set through warranty in 5 yrs. Bed wood rails broke again. Would offer a warrantee on the replacement items. Wife & I weigh less than 160 lbs each. Kids bed same issue. She 7 yrs old and 45 lbs. Sorry R&F, your employees deserve better product to sell.
My husband and I went looking for a wingback recliner which we did not find, however we did find a beautiful piece of furniture that we love and is good quality. The associate that helped us could not have been more helpful and offered so much assistance! Highly recommend looking for furniture there!
Absolutely pleasure dealing with the “Kas Wahid” i believe he was the Manager. He greeted us at the door with a nice welcome and asked us what we were in the market for. He gave us time to look around and told us about the current promos he explained us he will send a salesperson as soon someone becomes available.We didn’t find find anything in the store so he showed us online products. Gave us a great price! Really happy with our purchase and service. Will definitely buy again!!
I went to Raymour and Flanigan 3 weeks ago. I bought 4 full size couches, 1 loveseat and a chair and a half. Of course PLENTY of folks around to answer questions etc.I paid about $5000.00. I arranged delivery and paid 160 bucks. I had my husband at the building to take delivery. He was working construction on the 1st floor. He read the movers the placement instructions and went back to work.They did their thing and left without checking back.I end up with ALL OF THE FURNITURE EXACTLY ON THE WRONG FLOORS.I called the store and spoke to a female manager who told me they had no control over delivery.She said I have 2 choices:1. Hire movers and pay them myself2. She could TRY to see if delivery would come back and move it but most likely not because that would take it out of their pocketI told her the answers were terrible customer service wise.She promised to call delivery and get back to me the next day or two.Still waiting.Take your 5 grand and spend it somewhere else.
Absolutely horrible service. Have been more than patient with this place on delivery of a dresser mirror combo. Going on months now still no mirror. Dresser was delivered after a lengthy delay, confirmed a delivery window for 11/21/2020 for the backorder mirror, no call no show. Typical useless sales person, no follow up call whatsoever on anything. This place sucks. Do business elsewhere and save yourself a giant headache.
Salesman- Tim Cotten was great. He found exactly what I was looking for. He was not pushy, he gave me my space and his attitude to work with me was the main reason why I purchased my furniture with Raymour & Flannigan. The salesman at old brick was rude to me and told me I would not find what I was looking for and Tim proved otherwise. Kudos to Tim!
What a great experience, I wasnt bombarded with sales ppl when I first walked in second when I needed help this 1 associate named Sheldon was right there to help. I had no pictures or would my phone connect to the ethernet, I explained to him what I was looking for and presto, Perfect. Within 2 days Ill have what I wanted no hassles.Parking was easy and wheelchair accessible also.
Staff was very helpful, answered all of our questions Prices were excellent. We visited another store the weekend before and I didnt like alit of what they had and felt invisible to the staff there. What made our future furniture buying better was walking through the show room and seeing how the furniture and the colors of the display rooms went and figured out what colors we wanted to paint in our new home. Definitely will do business with Raymour & Flanigan in the future and will recommend people to stop in and take a look.
Staff is friendly, but its the third time for a service call on my furniture and they come extremely early to your house, who wants someone to call you at 730 and say Ill be there very soon just to fix something. After I asked the customer service team not to send someone out so early they come earlier 😠😠 I also bought my girls bunk beds which they love the delivery guys did it fast and great but could have used a little more time to make sure they didnt put the screws in to the side of the bunk bed where they dont belong it was a few so Im not bothered by it but they knew thats not how it was supposed to go and they just left it like that.
If possible I would have given zero stars for the delivery service. Firstly the delivery truck arrived after the the time given for delivery which ruined our Saturday plans. Secondly, the delivery people were not willing to move the recliner a little more stating that its the company policy not to move it more than two times. The guys did not come with power cord for the recliner and said that he can only return around 4 with the cord. When we called the store reporting the issue, a store rep called Alicia answered and she was was rude and was yelling. She told my wife if you want the power cord sooner come to the store and collect it yourself, all this after we paid $100 for delivery. The was yelling at my wife as if it were the reason why the delivery person forgot to bring all parts.
Had to order a sleeper sofa. Its going to be atleast 3 months or longer to get it. I would think they would do something in exchange for the long delivery. Im picking it up myself. $109 for Raymore Flanigan to deliver it to my place. Which is about 2 miles from the store.

In addition, in your Toms River store, Julie (sorry I cannot find her card) was terrific in rounding out my previous selections.
My mom and I were helped right away as we walked into the store. We were helped by Jarrod, who was extremely professional and efficient. We went a few other stores later in the day, but came back to Raymour and Flanigan to make our purchase due to the low prices and excellent service.
I was told that delivery was going to be on 7/3/20 so I took the day off of work after I asked the person on the phone to confirm that date. when I called on 7/2 to get my 3 hour window they said I was not on the delivery schedule and the next available was 7/9. the purchase was made on 6/29. the manager said he could only say sorry and if I would accept delivery on the 12th he would wave the 100 delivery charge. I cancelled order, they seem unprepared to open and lots of confusion among staff and forget the 3 day delivery schedule.
We had the worst customer service experience from Kas Wahid (sales manager). We were at your store to purchase a dining set and the sales associate, Jarrod, assisted us to choose one. Jarrod went above and beyond to help us but he needed to call the sales manager to get an approval. Kas came in and talked down on us by saying he cant offer any discount on a smaller transaction (the total transaction amount was over $1000.00). I corrected him by saying he cant talk to the customer like that and we dont appreciate it. Kas didnt apologize and showed no intention to help Jarrod to close this sale. It was very disappointing as we spent almost two hours at your store and wasnt able to purchase something that we liked because of Kass arrogant, unprofessional, and discriminatory behavior. Well, there is nothing wrong with promoting an individual, but please ensure that this individual knows how to show a level of respect and loyalty to their valued customers.
Recently I have purchased over $6000 furniture items from this store and one of the items is Nassau Glass End Table, SKU 307266800 which we found not standing properly on the carpet and in wobble condition. It’s almost fell on my 3 years old daughters feet when she just touch that table. I contacted my Sales person, she advised me to contact Service Department. After contact with service department one service guy showed up and mentioned that this table is only good on hardwood floor and advise me to talk the store directly. I called the store and spoke with Sales Manager. I have explained the facts that this is not safe at my living room in where carpet exits and also is not safe for my two little kids. But Sales Manager expressed nothing he can do about this because it is in good shape no matter where I am using. I have requested to exchange this item with another model but he ignored. According to Sales Manger the purchased item cannot be return no matter what happens to their customers. I am very frustrated; I always speak highly of Raymour to my friends despite of their negative comments. I was wrong; I should have listened to them. I just promised myself never buy any item from Raymour and will discourage my entire friend to go to Raymour. My recommendation is please think twice if you would like to purchase from Raymour & Flanigan.
The 5 star reviews are fake. Actually research Raymour and you’ll see the real 1 star rating. Raymours furniture is beautiful but cheaply made. Which will have you in a mess a few years down the road as you’ll need to get it repaired. Shop wisely and not to mention you’ll be on the phone with their “customer service” literally all day.
The level of service at Raymour and Flanigan is beyond the 5 stars provided. Gina at the Latham location was my sales women and she was knowledgeable and attentive the entire time. I was very undecided about the pieces I needed and she helped me through every step. I will be a repeat customer forever.
Store employees are great. But getting the run around from the Platinum Protection Plan people. They want me to re apply for an already approved replacement. It’s not my fault that I couldn’t find anything in your store in timely fashion. And I was never even told the replacement approval would ever expire......
Really liked the furniture in the stores. Three stars because after a month Im on my second service call not to mention they had to come back later the day of delivery because hardware was missing. A lot of wasted time for something I paid a lot of money for and expected done right the first time.
Purchased mattress.. they saidtwo day delivery.. coming from Syracuse warehouse. Two days went by..no mattress. Called, they said oh no two days with Covid. Didnt tell us. Two days is now going to have to be 8 days. We are going to be busy for the Labor day weekend.Mattress price was good. Salesman dumped us as soon as he made the sale and couldnt get us to upgrade or purchase add ons. Pointed in a direction and said go over there to the counter.
BEWARE! The worst, horrible place to buy anything and DONT ever buy the additional insurance because they DO NOT honor it! The salesman insisted that the insurance was a necessity. The couch had springs sticking into our backs and so they sent a repairman twice and he did not have the tools to fix it and just left it the way it was. Then the customer (dis)service said that they are not going to honor the insurance policy and will not make the repair on the broken mechanism that reclines the seats! WASTED money for sure on a leather sectional that is broken! Never buying anything there again! Would give it no stars if that were possible.
This review is based on the Financing Experience I have had here, not based on how friendly or helpful the staff is. I signed up for the equal payments 0% financing which was a great offer. My bill is due monthly on the 13th. It doesnt matter if I send the bill on the 1st of the month, or on the 10th, they never receive it until after the due date. R+F has a zero grace period policy and charges a $20-50 late fee. Last month I sent my bill in the mail on the 5th, and I am writing this review as I just received my 4th late fee($150 total to date).They claim they didnt receive it until the 15th and if I want to avoid this problem I should sign up for online payments. Yes I am now signing up for automatic payments so this never happens again, but buyer be aware, this is a shady financing practice. Beyond how ridiculous a $40 1-Day late fee is, the couch I financed is extremely low quality and I am very dissatisfied. The floor room model was much comfier and well built. When I received my couch it was a night and day difference from what was advertised. I really expected more from a $2,400 sectional, not to be falling apart less than a year into it. Next time need a piece of furniture, I will not check out R+Fs.EDIT 1/29/18: After leaving this review at this establishment, apparently the Supervisor went through my entire account and discovered I actually owe more Late Fees! Imagine that, now I have to pay an additional $30 late fee because they made an error on my account, and did not discover this until I left a bad review. Literally this company is a scam, and I will make sure everyone I know and speak with knows not to buy Raymour and Flanigans merchandise.

Beautiful furniture showroom. The staff showed us options based on the criteria we gave her. She was calm and easy to work with. Even though I didnt find exactly what I was looking for I did find other pieces I loved for other rooms of my home. I think Ill go back for those once I find the chair Im looking for.
The in-store part of this experience was fine. When you know exactly what you want, and you have the funds on hand, things tend to move efficiently.The delivery came the next morning, which was also great. The only problem was that the delivery crew refused to take off their boots, so I had to have them leave the mattress, frame, and box spring on the porch and assemble everything myself. Id just had the floors cleaned and, generally, dont allow shoes on in my home, especially in the winter when salt and slush gets tracked in.
The in store experience was great! Jerry B is very helpful and friendly. I would definitely shop their again and specifically ask for him.I haven’t received my items yet but hopefully I will be as happy with the delivery and furniture as I am with the shopping experience.
My Wife and I went to your Latham, NY store and was greeted by Alexander. He asked us how he could help us. We told him what we were looking for and pointed us in the right direction. About 10 minutes he came over and asked if we had any questions and he answer them with no pressure. So we left and came back the next day and Alexander was there and we bought the furniture. I worked with Tim. I called a few hours before I went in, as I live an hour away. Tim let me know what was in stock for me to be able to come in and look at it. He was friendly and professional. The quality of furniture for the price was outstanding and the 5 year protection plan very affordable.
So glad that Michael was the one who greeted me when I arrived at the store.I live in a tiny house and I had several specifications that I needed to adhere to because of my limited space. What is more I am elderly and it was important that the furniture fit me--I am short, I need to be able to elevate my legs, and I needed to be able to support my back. I showed him a picture of the space, gave him the dimensions of the space, and asked him what he would recommend in my colors to coordinate with the Asian rug that covers most of the floor in the tiny house living area.He showed me three furniture sets in three price ranges. I had a difficult time choosing because the three options were gorgeous. The one I chose happened to be at the upper end of the range but was absolutely perfect and felt like I was sitting on furniture that was designed for my individual needs. I was amazed. And, in this time of delays and supply chain problems, I was still able to get my pieces delivered in 3 days. And I got 15% off because they were having a sale. Michael works at the Latham store. 👍

Jordan in the mattress department was professional, polite, knows the products very well and extremely helpful. We started with a mattress I thought would work. It didnt and Jordan was a good enough listener, along with knowing the different mattresses to help us find what DID work very well. I dont usually like shopping. This trip was a pleasure.
