I had to delete my previous review. I went there because I had an issue but Jose resolved my situation expeditiously. I then purchased a sectional and a sexy chaise. Jose is the Man and I will be going back later for another bedroom set. Ask for Jose at the Middletown Showroom.
I purchased a queen bed, a nightstand and a mattress. The first mattress came with a lot of the stitching loose and falling out. The second one came a week later the same way and I was asked to sign for it and they left. I went to put the protector on that I also purchased there and it was ripped. When I went to the store and was there for over an hour I wanted them to just take the mattress back that was in my home for 2 hours and give me a credit back on my card and I was told all sales are final and I will only get a store credit. The manager was not really pleasant and I had to spend even more to try to get a different mattress that I didn’t want to purchase there! I think my shopping there is done!
Extremely pleased with our purchase of a Stearns and Foster mattress from Raymour & Flanagan. Furniture and Mattress Consultant, Ed Rubenstein, was very helpful, had great suggestions, and seemed to sincerely want us to be happy with our purchase. We will definitely consult with Ed on any future purchases from Raymour & Flanagan.
Thank you to Michael Rich and Raymour for our purchase. It was nothing but a pleasure from start to finish. Michael was very helpful, knowledgeable and an overall pleasure to work with. Michael was there no matter when or what time it was to answer any questions. He never made us feel like we were a bother or interrupting him. He also didn’t make us feel pressured in any way and I can tell you from past experiences when shopping for anything it’s the first turn off for my husband and myself. He is a total go getter and wants to help and sell you whatever you need but does it in such a way you feel welcomed, wanting to stay and look more but never did we feel that pressure like we have in the past. It is 100% the reason we made this purchase when we did!!!! First picture just delivered but we are slowly getting our living room together. Second one my husband is enjoying how comfortable it is. 💕💕💕💕

Everyone one was very helpful starting with customer service Lovely young lady found my account and told me I could make the changes I wanted. Michael Rich was my consultant a very helpful and patient man who let me take my time in picking out what I wanted. I must have tried every mattress there but he wasn’t pushy. Let me take the I needed explain ginger every mattress and pros and cons of each. I got exactly what I wanted with Michaels help. No problems or pressure jut good customer service . I would recommend this gentleman and Raymour and Flanagan to any one in need of furniture and good customer service!!!
Came in fairly late looking for a new mattress. Devin Jones was quick, friendly, and efficient in helping me and my wife find the perfect mattress. Even better it was delivered only 10 hours later to my bedroom with a quick and simple delivery and haul away of my old mattress. Will definitely be seeking out Devin in the future when we need more help!!
Completely satisfied with my recent Raymour & Flanigan experience. Josh assisted me in a low key, no pressure way. He was very knowlegable and made some suggestions that turned out to be exactly what I wanted. Next day delivery and set up by two friendly and polite young men.

Such a pleasant atmosphere! No hassles by sales team, yet they were available and accessible. Plenty of quality furniture in the showroom. Our sales lady Jane M was informative, knowledgeable, and not pushy. Always great to receive a sale discount as well as convenient zero percent financing and the furniture was available in inventory and delivered three days after our visit to the showroom!!!! Now THATS SERVICE!!!! Overall, a great shopping experience, if only the car dealership experience were like this!
John and his manager Francisco were wonderful and very helpful. They did everything they could to ensure my furniture arrived at a reasonable time. They gave me time and space to make a decision which I loved! They were very friendly and informative. I would definitely recommend.
Worst store ever. Service is terrible. I been waiting 10 months for my items and everytime they give me a date it gets pushed. I called and spoke to different managers in the store and they are no help. I get called from a manager stating my item will be delivered and when it came to that day no one shows up. I called the store again and they tell me its out of stock. This is the last time I will ever give them my business. They dont even deserve a 1 star rating
My wife and I were looking for a new mattress as soon as we walked in the store we were greeted and helped immediately. The staff was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. The whole process took about a half hour. I would definitely recommend buying a mattress from Raymour and Flanigan.
Fist of all when me and my mother walked in the store we were greeted by Briana Kelly. She greeted us with a nice and happy tone of Hello. From there on i told her what I was looking for and she was helpful polite and very knowledgeable. She made the entire process easy. We ordered the bedroom set I wanted. I have never met such a warm, positive and experience sales person like Briana Kelly.
Looking for a bookcase we stopped into Raymour and Flanagan. We were not thinking we would find one first try. Briana assisted us in our quest. The whole experience was lovely. We found a cherry wood bookcase in the size and period we wanted. Her knowledge and professionalism also aided the entire process. Customer Service was throughout the transaction. We will return.
Great service and the selection of furniture is beautiful. They offered delivery or store pickup. Got it delivered: Was on time and they brought the piece into the house, assembled, placing it where we wanted it. Glad we purchased local as the service and guarantee was so much better than what we had been getting by buying online.
Couldnt have had a better experience!I wasnt even planning on purchasing a mattress that day (just browsing) but the excellent service I was given helped me find the perfect fit!Jhwil was competent, efficient, and extremely friendly. He was never pushy and gave my partner and I time to talk in private about the purchase without hovering.The entire experience was quick and painless. I received my mattress set the next morning bright and early. The price was competitive and the bed is swoon-worthy.
The whole customer service experience was beyond wonderful. Michael Rich was our Consultant and he was wonderful knowledgeable, friendly, easy to work with, and never made us feel that we need to make a purchase. We ended up choosing a couch suggested by him which was way better quality than what we initially chose. Sometimes is worth paying more for quality at the beginning rather than go through to the trouble of repairing something that wasn’t quite great from the get go. Wonderful shopping experience! The sales people were helpful without being pushy, the in-store price matched the website (which wasnt the case when I bought a table from Ashley a few months ago; it would have been much cheaper online if I had bought it online, though the wait time was longer), and the checkout process was super easy. I also loved that the sectional I wanted had a bunch of different layouts available so I could find one that fit my space.
Matthew the sales associate was outstanding in helping us to decide what we needed. We had been to 6 differnet stores and he was the only one to actually explain to us the different fabrics and leathers. He took the time to explain everything, I actually learned a lot about furniture from him. Would totally recommend going to this store and seeing Matthew for your next purchase. I know if we need any other furniture that is where we will be going.
We purchased a couch on 8/8/2021 with the assistance of sales rep Michael Rich, who was great. The delivery date was scheduled for 8/28/2021. On 8/21/2021, I checked the status of the delivery and saw it had been pushed out to 9/30/2021. Called Michael to see if anything could be done as we were having guest coming to our new home. He went above and beyond making several calls trying to locate one of the couches being held for additional pieces due in after 9/30. He found such a scenario and will be delivering our couch on 8/31. We were more than grateful that Michael went the extra mile to accommodate us and make sure we were happy and satisfied with our purchase! Outstanding is the only word that comes to mind on the professional way he handled and resolved the situation. A big THANK YOU Michael!!
The couch we found was amazing, but you can’t handle the price and they were expensive. The salesman was great but the guy that did the overwork not so much. Then the delivery guys messed the couch up on delivery. Raymour is replacing the piece that was damaged so that’s great
As a long time customer, my experience with R & F was totally positive. After hearing stories about long delays for deliveries, I simply called the shop and spoke with Jane a salesperson.We had a brief conversation, I told her what I needed, a new mattress for a family member pronto. She asked a few questions and asked if she could call me back while she searched the inventory. She called me back, describing the options and 2 days later, courteous R&F men delivered the item.Couldnt have asked for a better experience.
Sales rep Frank C. was very helpful with my decision on a dinning set. I had narrowed it down to two sets online and went to see them in the showroom. Sure enough I spotted yet another. The Venice is absolutely beautiful however the wood color didnt quite belong with my surroundings. The Halden is also a beautiful set but my concerns were black showing dust and some voiced their concerns of it being easily scratched. Well they say third times a charm it sure was. The Emery is one I passed over online but it caught my eye in the showroom. Very classy looking. A neat design in the framework. I guess contemporary but not over the top. Dark brown wood with dark blue upholstered chairs. I wanted a matching server as well but there is not one in the Emery style. There is one in another style using a almost perfect match for the wood tone n color. Frank was kind enough to carry the chair around the showroom and show me just how close a match it is. That was the deal maker.Im very happy with this set. Fits a smallish dinning room and blends well with the adjacent living room furniture also R&F
We arrived at the store with my Mom using her cane. As soon as we were greeted, they offered Mom their wheelchair for her comfort and not to have to walk their spacious store. We ordered 2 high chest of drawers and left. 2 days later we called back to add a drop leaf table to her order, over the phone. All was accomplished efficiently and they even wheeled Mom out to our car! So happy with this store! Kudos to John, Eric and Cosmo!
We had a great experience with Vickie. She was knowledgeable and helpful while we shopped for our couch. I would recommend this store to anyone looking for new furniture. They had a much larger selection at great prices than everywhere else we looked. The only reason for not giving 5 stars was the service desk associate was rude to Vickie when she brought us back to finish up the transaction. Like to the point that I wanted to ask for a manager rude. If she had talked to me the way she did to Vickie, I would have left without purchasing the furniture. All in all, I still recommend this store.
Furniture is nice but... be sure to buy the warranty if you buy anything! Being single I thought I wouldnt need it but to my surprise......I Had my living room & chair for just over a month when my 7 year old grand daughter had gotten a few scrapes by the staples that were left in my chair. After that my couch pillows frayed, couch seat cover zipper split, lamp spoke just broke as I was gently dusting it off. I was told that I could have a reselect because of all my issues. Of course you know I was told that Im the only one who encountered so many issues with a purchase from there. The only problem with that, is since COVID the prices are triple the amount so I really had no choice but to stick with the selection I originally purchased.They claim Ashleys furniture is crap, funny thing is my daughter purchased a chair & couch about a month after me. She has 3 kids. 2 birds & had no problems. I am very disappointed. Especially because its suppose to be high end quality, so with the amount of $$$$ that I spent I didnt expect or feel that I would have a problem with. Also along with some of the sales people acting very pushy when you walk in the door, other than Jose & a few others. The girls in the back are wonderful. Especially Tiffany. One spacific manager is a real gem to come across. I called with a simple question. Was hung up on rt away after calling twice., called again, waited 20 minutes & was hung up on again, called back & after a wait of a 1/2 hour I drove there in my pajamas, totally pissed off. I was still on hold when I got there. I just aggravated myself. Didnt do me one bit of good other than having my question anwsered. Which was could I still purchase a warranty seeing. Of coarse I cant!Im having such bad luck with my brand new furniture. Im just so disappointed! So if youre lookung for new furniture I reccomend either going to a Raymore & Flannigans outlet. For the most part the people are friendlier, the prices are a bit better, not much though, or go to Ashley. Anywhere else!!!Definitely spend more time shopping around!
The delivery team was great--so courteous and efficient. But I did not get the promised call so I could opt to postpone delivery of the table top if the base was not ready--so now I have this big partial table leaning against the wall. The promised email notification and tracking link came as the delivery team was getting ready to leave, but I expected it earlier. If the delivery team had not called me 7 minutes before their arrival, I would not have known at all when to expect them. Please fix that before my next delivery. Im furnishing a whole house and am mostly very pleased with your company, but this was disappointing.
We bought $8000 in furniture, delivered to my in-laws. Every item was damaged. It took forever to get them to agree to fix it all. We finally returned everything. Local manager was nice but overall seemed unable to help us. Quality of furniture is low, delivery is horrible, follow up is truly poor.
Visited twice to try out the mattresses before buying. Jane was our Raymour & Flanigan customer assistant who immediately greeted us. Jane was understanding of our needs and was very helpful in letting us try out a number of mattresses for comfort and to discuss the pros and cons of certain mattresses. Jane also recommended and was very patient of our questions and pricing of mattresses. All in all, from shopping to buying, Jane was friendly and not pushy for us to purchase anything just for a sale. She is knowledgeable and you can tell, she loves working at Raymour & Flanigans. Highest marks for Jane and for the store!
We used the chat feature to ask a question about ordering a mattress set and ended up with a rep who handled our order.Tip 1: there is a cut-off time to order to ensure next-day delivery, which we needed. The rep guaranteed next day delivery, but we ordered after the noon hour, and this means we missed the cut-off time and have to wait an extra day for delivery. We have not received our order as yet due to the timing. If we’d known from the outset we would have waited, but we’d disposed of our old bedding already. (First world problem, I know)Tip 2: if at all possible when shopping remotely, place your order via the website and do not enlist the help of a R&F phone rep. You’ll save time and we found no financial advantage working with a chat rep.
Ed the sales representative, was very helpful over the telephone looking up my previous purchase. I was not pressured in making a decision and he was very helpful when I arrived at the store. One thing is Im short and it would have been nice to have a stool to be able to test out the mattress. I was happy with the service and price of the item purchased. Thank you.
I had purchased a night stand two years ago and couldn’t remember the name of it or find record of it online at the Raymour and Flanagan website and wanted to purchase another one. I chatted with someone via the text feature on their website. They looked at my account and found the nightstand and had a salesman come on the chat and I was able to order it with ease.
We found Ed a great salesperson. We appreciate that he was attentive but not pushy, he answered all our questions, and allowed us the freedom to look around to find just what we love. My husband’s mood changed from uptight to relaxed due to Ed’s cool and easy does it style.Sarah Marconi
After purchasing a bedroom set I found I needed the storage drawers. I called them on Sunday and will not only receive the order in 3 days; they will also change the frame for me. Also very pleasant and professional. I could tell I was getting service with a smile. R&F will be my place to go for all my furniture needs. I shop the Middletown NY location.
The customer service is impeccable! Legit had an online agent assist me with my order and they were as thorough as can be. After my order was placed, I realized I forgot to include something. So, I reached out to customer care again and they made sure to connect me with the same agent who worked with me the first time around and things were settled just as quickly. I loved it! We had visited a couple Mattress stores within New Windsor and Middletown and had little interest in even continuing our search for the day, my mother in law had texted me she saw a commercial that Raymour & Flannigan was having a sale on what we were looking for. We went inside to browse for a couple minutes and right away we’re greeted and helped by an amazing salesman, Jose Garcia. He was able to answer all of our questions and concerns and provide us with a King size firm foam mattress & the full adjustable bed frame as well, we purchased the warranty as well and he helped us to pick a delivery date and set it up. He was extremely professional and helpful and that made our experience very pleasant. 100% will go back for more furniture and will ask for him as well. 10/10 customer service.
Salesman (Brian) miscommunicated availability of nightstand. It wasnt available for pick-up. Apologized and offered free delivery if we couldnt come back for it once available. Mercedes called next morning saying the item was now available for pick up. But any delivery would cost $54.00. I objected based on what Brian promised. Both managers (both named Kevin) refused to waive the delivery fee. Unfair and unprofessional. Thought R & F was better than this. No reason to shop R & F in future.
The salesman at the store we visited, Matthew Staltare, was very thorough and helpful in explaining the different mattress options available and helping us find the perfect mattress for our needs. Walked us through many different styles and features, and we were able to find a great queen size mattress that were very happy with.
I went there with me younger sister to get my mom a new mattress and boxspring . Cosmo was great. He listened and bought us to the best area to choose the mattress we wanted. We didnt just press on it. Cosmo got protectors for the mattress and pillows and we became goldilocks. Trying the mattresses until one felt just right. Cosmo made buying the mattress a breeze. He then still took the time to ask about the bowstring and the frame. He was so detailed about everything. He even explained the bill line by line and when they would deliver. Again, Cosmo is great. Ask for him and youll get a treat as well as exactly what you want.
I was greeted by Briana in the Middletown, NY store. I told her what I needed and she directed to the loveseats, recliners, tv consoles and rugs. Thanks to her expertise, I chose amazing items that were all cohesive. Having health issues, she kindly offered water, rest periods, and walked my pace. What a pleasure to deal with such a knowledgeable and kind person. I cant wait too get my Corliss loveseat, a power recliner, tv console and rug. Thanks.

Our trip to Raymour n Flanigan was one of many stops that day. This was our last stop for good reason. Our salesman Eric was informative, not pushy and very patient with a husband and wife who clearly had differing opinions on what to purchase. He was also up front with us about supply-chain issues due to the pandemic. Our furniture is set to arrive within the next month or so. I can’t give you a review on the delivery yet, but the sales floor experience was great. Thank you.
Stopped in at Raymour and Flanigan in Middletown to purchase some living room furniture.Michael was a great balance of being attentive without being pushy. He listened what we were looking for and showed us the various options. He then left us alone to browse and came back and checked on us.We purchased a couch, an oversized chair and a rocker/swivel/recliner. A very painless, enjoyable experience - and we got a 15% discount!!Strongly recommend Raymour and Flanigan and Michael!!!
We had the best experience at Raymour and Flanigan in Middletown New York. Our salesman, Zackary, Was the best. He greeted us when we came in and asked what he could help us with. We replied we were looking for a recliner and he directed us to the area where all the recliners were displayed. He then gave us the option of him staying with us to answer Any of our questions or would we rather be left on our own to try out the chairs and he would be available at a distance for any questions we may have. We so appreciated this. There’s nothing worse than a salesman in any store That follows you around with every step that you take. We appreciated Zacharys Offer to let us browse around and try all the chairs out at our leisure. When we were ready to have some questions answered he was not far away and came right over to help us out. He was very friendly and very knowledgeable. It was an enjoyable experience and if we ever needed anything again from Raymour and Flanigan we would certainly be looking for Zachary.
Had the best experience in your Middletown store. Needed a new mattress for my daughter after waiting an entire month to get delivery. Vicki was the most patient and knowledgeable sales consultant, and just an all around nice person. Now we’re all excited for delivery tomorrow and coming in Saturday to look at outdoor furniture. We had a wonderful experience at Raymour & Flanigan in Middletown, Ny. Our salesperson Eric was great. He was very informative, answered all our questions. So if you go in there ask for Eric! The office staff was pleasant, fast and courteous. We are waiting for our merchandise so that we can schedule at date. I will do another review to let you know how it went!
Bought the most expensive mattress in the store after they explained the lifespan was 20+ years and after 4 months it became defective. Was told by customer service to go into the store and ask for a manager so they can set up an appointment for replacement. After entering the store and being immediately greeted by someone, I explained to them that our mattress was defective and it needed to be replaced and I needed to speak to a manager. Was then told to hold on for a minute while the employee got one for me. After a few minutes the gentleman came out and told me there were none there that could help me and I would need to make an appointment to come back and speak with someone. I then explained that I had already talked to customer service and this is what they informed me to do. At that point he checked my account and then told me to hold on again. After about 10 minutes I was then greeted by a manger. Ultimately the mattress was replaced with no issues but terrible customer service. Also, delivery team is told they are not allowed to wear shoe coverings when entering a customers home because they are not covered under Raymour’s insurance policy. So it’s either they drop it off at the door for you to lug it in or walk through your home with who knows what on their feet.
Brianna, the Sales Consultant was very helpful in my decision on the type of mattress that would best suit my sleep needs. She knew the inventory well. She also recommended some products that would be helpful with my “hot sleeps”!I was also pleasantly surprised that Raymond & Flannigan was ready to ship my bed set in TWO DAYS!Another bedding retailer had been stringing me along for two months!!I have had nothing but efficient service and quality products from Raymour & Flannigan.
Devin Jones was our consultant and we were very happy with him. He was kind, patient and knowledgeable. I would recommend any new customers to seek him out for help. He should definitely do the training for any new hires. Customers typically get turned off by pushy consultants and Devin is NOT like that at all. Thank you Devin for all your help, youre the best.
I had an excellent experience purchasing my new living room and dining set yesterday. The manager, Kevin, was very knowledgeable about the different types of furniture and what would go best with the decor of our home. The sales staff was polite and welcoming. I didn’t feel “pressured” to buy at any point during my visit which made everything much more relaxing and less stressful. Ultimately, the environment led me to purchasing more than just a sofa (which was the initial reason for the visit). Thank you for all the assistance. We will be coming back again in the near future.
I did not want or need any help. Just wanted to look quietly on my own which I did for 10 minutes before Vicki came along. Did not realize that I wanted and needed help until she arrived. No sales pressure, just calm knowledgeable direction. It was great. What would have been a wasted hour on my part turned into a 20 minute successful pain-free and satisfying transaction. She was great.

I walked into the store where I met John Almanzar. He asked me what I was looking for, offered advice and even helped me arrange for removal of my old sofa. He then walked me to the register where I paid for my purchase and left. No hard sell, no substitutions. I got what I wanted and was out of the store in less than a half hour.
My salesperson vicki middletown ny location was very friendly. Not pushy at all. Very patient with me trying to figure out what I wanted. She listened to what I said about my tastes in furniture and found exactly what I was looking for. I was very pleased with the service. Mr. Young (salesperson) was a true gentleman. He was knowledgeable on the product available and guided us towards what we were looking for. He gave us space to shop and checked in on us regularly. We had a great shopping experience and purchased the product of our choice.
We recently purchased the Clinton series sofa and loveseat and could not be happier with the product, and with the in store and delivery service. John Almanzar was our sales representative. He was very helpful and professional. Delivery was fast and efficient and also professional. Highly recommend!
Don’t like how all the salespeople wait in front and prey on you walking in occasionally. Let me stroll in peacefully, look at the furniture for a minute.Also, we came in for a mattress and found that going to one store alone isn’t best. I recommend visiting at least 2-3 stores to make your decision.EDIT: Note that I did not make a purchase here, only walked in twice for mattress selection.
Me and my husband visited Raymour & Flanagan on 5/1. When we walked in no one would speak to us or ask if we need help. Several sales guys walked right passed us and didn’t say anything. After walking around for almost 30 minutes. Eric saw us and asked if we needed help. I would have given one star. But, we liked our sales guy Eric. You need to teach your sales team customers skills.
Jhwil was amazing. He was super knowledgeable and helpful. It was a joy to work with him. He was so patient, even when we changed our minds on the sofa set and he proceeded to show us more options. My sales person was terrific, but I don’t like the fact that you don’t do free shipping. Once someone pays the amount of money they do for your furniture. That should be part of the purchase price. Years ago you paid for the shipping. My daughter who lives close by also got free shipping. Thank you
Mike Rich was such a big help. He answered all my questions. I wasnt sure on what size would fit good in my livingroom. He gave me 3 brochures on the 3 couches I picked out. He pur his card on one of them so I had his hours.When I made my decision I went back to order my couch. Now I waiting for my couch to come it. Everybody was very nice and helpful.
I was assisted at your Middletown, N.Y. location, initially by Jhwil Young and also by Aris Salce. Jhwil was very helpful and extremely polite and professional in answering all of my questions and helping me find the perfect mattress, which I ultimately purchased. When I returned to make the purchase, Jhwil was engaged with another customer so Aris helped me to finalize my purchase by very patiently making sure that I purchased the mattress that was right for me and finding me the best deal that was available. I want to thank and recommend both of these gentleman to anyone who is in search of the perfect piece of furniture for their home.
Very positive. Salesman was not pushy but very helpful. Prices were very reasonable and there were several promotions in effect that we were able to take advantage of. We took delivery of our purchase the next day and that team was great. They were exactly on time and very professional. They removed old bedding as promised and everything worked as expected. I have previously shopped at a Raymour & Flanigan Outlet store where I had an experience that made me never want shop there again! However, I found myself in need of 2 Twin XL mattresses in a hurry. I went to the Middletown, NY store where I was helped by a salesperson named Eric. He realized I was pressed for time, asked me what my needs were then swiftly showed me 3 or 4 mattresses that matched my needs and price point. He was very knowledgeable of the different products they carried and exactly where to find them. Delivery was on time as promised and the delivery team did a great job delivering and removing the old bedding.Thank You Eric for restoring my confidence in Raymour & Flanigan after a very bad previous experience.
We went to Raymour &Flanigan in Middletown NY and as we entered the store, we were met by Jarrette Fullard who was so nice and helpful. We told him exactly what we were looking for and he told us where to go in the store and to let him know if we needed any help or had any questions, as he gave us our time alone to look at what we wanted. We looked at about 4 leather sectionals and as we were trying to pick the one we liked the most (they were all beautiful), Jarrette came over and offered us whatever we needed and answered our questions. We picked out the most beautiful leather sectional that would look gorgeous in our family room. Jarrette sat down with us and made our purchase go so smoothly!!! He was absolutely wonderful!!!! Great store with a very friendly sales personnel. We went there couple of days ago looking for some furniture replacements, and were pleasantly surprised to find everything we wanted especially after/during the pandemic. Super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable guys who work there help a lot. The biggest surprise was on the next delivery of our purchase as many stores operate with delays right now. We do recommend this store.
I showed up late one evening to pickup a sofa for my new house, I dont live there yet so scheduling delivery was difficult. When I arrived the crew responsible for pickup was already gone, Kevin the manager personally helped me load it into my SUV. Thanks Kevin-Great help!
We have shopped at Raymour & Flanigan for many years now and appreciate the staying power of this quality furniture store. In a market saturated with cheaper and lower quality merchandise, we appreciate that we can usually find what we are looking for and know that we will have whatever it is for years. The sales staff is helpful without being pushy and we have asked and received great service from Brian Creagh who always takes the time with us to answer any questions. Worth mentioning is how beautifully the store is laid out and how helpful it would be for anyone trying to visualize what their living space could be. I recommend shopping for furniture that will last at Raymour & Flanigan.
We were searching- and I mean in between stores searching and being an annoying customer (sorry) -but John at Raymour kept it real, showed me what I was asking, went ABOVE AND BEYOND to match me with the couch I was looking for. When I ordered the couch they said it might not be in until May (which was fine) but here we are mid March and I have my couch :) He keeps looking for the pieces and will call right when they are in and schedule when YOU are ready. Highly recommend and we will be future shoppers again!
Eric was our sales person when we made our first purchase back in December. We were hoping to have him again when we went back to purchase our couch and recliner and we were very fortunate to get him again! Eric is very friendly, professional and knowledgeable! Vicki -the sales representative was patient, knowledgeable and made the whole experience go well for us. She earned the sale just by allowing us to go back and forth and really look at our options while discussing quality and options for our bedroom set and pull out couch.
We went in to get my husband a lift up recliner. Told the employee what we were looking for and he was very helpful in find the right recliner for him.He was very pleasant and helpful. Your employees are gracious and knowledgeable. I would never recommend your store to anyone because even with no debt, an income over $1000,000 annually and a credit score of 798 your store refused me credit. From that I can only assume my age of 77 was the discriminatory factor.I have a weekly radio program and will tell the story so none of my listeners, hopefully, will shop in your stores.I had to have my partner make the purchase. I have been planning on getting quite a bit of new furniture for an upcoming move and had been visiting the R&F website quite often, narrowing down my favorites. Finally, I decided to visit the store in Middletown, NY to find those items and hopefully get some other ideas too.Walking in (with 2 bad knees) I was met by Jarrette Fullard and explained my situation to him. Jarrette listened and, very patiently, walked through the showroom with me. With his help I was able to make much better decisions about my upcoming purchases and he clued me in to some real gems! He seemed to understand what I was looking for better than I did! I’m glad he listened and steered me in the right direction! The pieces we found were ALL perfect fits for me and my taste. I’m glad he was such a good listener! Now I can’t wait to move just so I can show off the new furniture!
Christine greeted us at the door and asked what we were looking for. As she lead us back to the huge mattress section, we told her it was for a guest room. She then determined our price point, and gave us several to choose from. She was knowledgeable and helpful, but not pushy and respected our wishes. Delivery will be much quicker than we expected. I hope the delivery and comfort equals the experience so far.

My wife and I purchased a King mattress and an adjustable bed frame believing that the firmness/softness was correct however, after using it for over two months my wife could not sleep on it as it was too hard and she has back issues. I contacted the Middletown, NY stroe explaining the situation to Store Manager, Francisco Guerrero who worked tirelessly with their corporate offices eventually getting positive results for us to exchange for a softer mattress with a restocking charge that was a little high but fair knowing that well be comfortable for 10-15 years. Mr. Guerrero is an outstanding employee that the corporate offices should recognize and reward!!!

This is one of the quickest and most efficient businesses in the area, and I left after my first time here happy with my experience, the perfect piece found quickly, my purchase completed in less than an hour, and with a scheduled delivery date only five days away! Further, Joseph was our representative and was funny, knowledgeable, and efficient. We were not upsold on anything, which is such a relief these days in the retail industry.Not only was the piece we chose exactly what we were looking for after a day of searching nearby furniture stores, but we were given a competitive price with absolutely no hidden fees. After delivery and taxes, the total was right around what I expected. Christine was a huge help in the store! Price was right, purchasing process was fast and easy. Delivery was 3 days from the day we ordered. We were given 9-12 time slot and they called at 9 stating they’d be at my house in a half hour. They were prompt, efficient and fast. Highly satisfied with our whole experience!

I was having a hard time choosing items that will work well together. After spending time with Jose it was a piece of cake, he directed me in the right direction. Showroom floor was inviting to walk onto. Customer service was very hands on, but not put on, as if it were for show. I was given the proper time to collect my thoughts, for which i was comfortably able to decide the furniture that most suited my interest. Lastly, All my questions were answered without hesitation.
Recently my husband and I went to Raymour & Flanigan in Middletown, NY to purchase a platform bed. We were greeted by a pleasant gentleman, Frank Carlino who brought us to see the bed we were interested in and pointed out the different options we could get.We were planning to purchase a mattress on line, but Mr. Carlino showed us similar hybrid mattresses and had us try several models to be sure we found the perfect fit. We felt very comfortable with our purchase, and impressed with Mr. Carlino’s professionalism that we will certainly seek out Frank Carlino in our next visit to Raymour & Flanagan.
We just went in to look, because our Ashleys furniture couch is falling apart after 2 short years .. we decided to try Raymore and flanigan...they have beautiful show room lots of options and very overwhelming...our sales woman Danielle gave us space and I loved that . I hate when they hover over u and dont give u space to look .she was extremely helpful without being overbearing and I appreciated that .. we left purchasing the most beautiful couch that was not out of our budget.....couch is taking very long to arrive was told a date and it was pushed back and then pushed back again
If you are looking for 5-star customer service, you need to go see Jhwil Young at Raymour & Flanigan in Middletown. He was really knowledgeable about all the unique features of the furniture, and asked all the right questions to help us find the right pieces for our family. He was available to answer any questions we had, but also gave us space to discuss things privately when we wanted to. I couldn’t be happier with the shopping experience I had with him, and I will definitely be coming back to see him for any future purchases I need to make.
I just want to let Raymour & Flanigan know that my entire experience with them was horrendous. I came to my local store to purchase a mattress to which we thought we found the one we were looking for. Unfortunately that wasnt the case so we were forced to exchange it since we were not told of the return policy (only the platinum protection plan was ever brought up). So now I am forced to make another purchase at your store, but not for 30 days so we were stuck with a mattress we didnt like for 30 days and no other option. On the day of the exchange we were left waiting in the lobby for a manager who was in their office for at least 20 minutes. To our knowledge it did not seem like he was with a customer. We were the only ones in the store apart from the sales floor associates who were spending their time playing on their phones while sitting on the couches in the entrance. By the time the manager met with us we were then told that the mattress we now wanted was not even being produced anymore so now we would have to go through the whole process of selecting a new mattress (where this all could have been avoided if we could have exchanged it sooner). The manager then offers up the display model at a discounted price which we took him up on. The remaining total had to be used though on another purchase due to the previous amount going through your promotional financing. Stuck again, we decided to purchase a bed frame also. So now we had to wait for the new mattress and frame to be delivered which when it was the frame was missing the hardware to even put it together. 3 phone calls later and 2 months and we still do not have any hardware and we are now sleeping on the floor. To boot this wasnt the end of the nightmare. I login to the TD website to set up online bill pay for my purchase and see that total I was charged for the exchange wasnt there. It looks like instead of exchanging the amounts they just left the old promo balance and then added a random amount. To break it down real quick, the original amount was $1009.83 for mattress, the exchange $1123.30, the total amount showing on the TD site $1188.12, $64.82 difference that isnt accounted for. So now Im forced to pay for a product we cant use and at the same time am being overcharged for it. This is beyond ridiculous.
This is one furniture store you must stay away from. I have purchased furniture for every room in my house from them and then it happened. We purchased an adjustable bed and a hybrid matress. I also purchased for $99.00 the 45 night no questions return mattress policy. Well they not only scammed me when I asked to exchange it but 3 days later my adjustable bed frame broke. Ive fought with them 3 days after delivery. They did not honor the $99.00 return policy on the mattress or the fact that the adjustable bed broke after 3 days. Its been 5 months and they screwed me. Management will not talk to me anymore. I encourage everyone to shop elsewhere. I have filed a small claims lawsuit against them.
So let me start off by saying I dont know what the bad reviews are for. I have been to this store several times and never had any issues with this store. First Garret, The Showroom Manager went above and beyond helping me, my wife and young daughter finding mattresses. We were so confused as to what we needed for our sleeping patterns. Garret didnt rushing us in any way. We were in store for 2.5 hours trying to find what mattresses worked for us. Also I cant forget The Store Manager Kevin. Kevin goes out of his way to make his customers happy. I have worked with him a couple times and he was able to solve any issues we had. Just want to also thank the staff behind the desk that does hard work to make sure deliveries get taken care of and billing is correct. So thank u again Raymour and Flanigan of Middletown NY for exceptional service and knowledge. Will always be a customer of this location...
I contacted this store to try to get a replacement handle for my lane love seat recliner. I told the rep that although I did not buy the recliner from them I had recently spent several thousand dollars at their store. I was told that since I did not buy the recliner there then they would not help me!I will remember this for future shopping. If you sell Lane products why not provide service?
Worst experience ever. Was told bed delivery would be next day, which is why we purchased. Then told would be two days and then pushed to a week. Wonderful example of bait and switch. Will never purchase from company again which is too bad as we are furnishing a new home.
Excellent selection. Very professional all the way. Store is clean, well lit, nicely appointed and well organized. Salesman was well dressed, knowledgeable (12 years with company), attentive, helpful and patient. Pricing was competitive. Delivery was prompt and efficient. We had our new mattress and foundation in 2 days. Whats not to like. We had gone to 2 other stores previously. There was NO comparison. They are the benchmark in the area for furniture.
I ordered by phone as I was not sure the mattress I wanted was I stock and available for next day delivery. The person who handled my order was fast and efficient. The mattress was available and I had it next day. I have not slept on it yet but based on reviews I’m pretty certain I will love.
Victor is the sales representative who helped me. What I liked about him is he approached me when I first walked in and asked if he could help me find something. I told him no and that I just wanted to browse and find inspiration. To my relief, Victor and the other sales reps left me alone. What a wonderful feeling it was to shop without having to avoid being approached by every sales person I came near. When I was ready with questions and to purchase I found Victor and he answered all my questions and got me the best deal. I will recommend this store and Victor for sure. Thank you.
Went there to look at bedrooms sets and was able to see 2 additional pieces of furniture we would like to purchase. The sales associate (Ian) was very informative and was not pushy like some associates I have encountered. He had a great vibe about him which made us feel more comfortable as we shopped and asked questions.
I went to check the status of a faulty product (bed with electronics). The store sent someone to confirm that it is faulty last month. Mind you, I have been waiting since the delivery of the bed (July 5th, 2020). I had to visit the store several times to complain. I have been promised that the headboard was on backorder and should com mid October. I am still waiting. I last visited the store again and was told that my regional store would contact me, but that was last week. I do not want the bed in my house at this point and have requested a full refund of the furniture. I am still waiting. I took out the protection plan when I purchased the bed. Ive been paying for something that does not work. I am very dissatisfied with the product!
Frank Carlino was so patient and insightful to what we were looking for. We walked the store and communicated about the living room and dining room furniture we wanted. He came back with winners for both rooms and we left the store excited to get our new furniture. Thank you again, Frank.
I went to the store for their memorial day sale. Dealt with Mr. Garcia. Got to say he was not really nice or at least couldve been nicer or more thoughtful as a salesman. I wanted some mattresses and other furniture but after leaving the store uneasy I went elsewhere. Luckily, I was able to get my money back thanks to getting their warranty package. No need for me to email anyone either.

2022-01-08So thrilled we were able to shop without the high pressure sales. Associate, Tiffany from the Middletown, NY store greeted us when we entered, offered assistance, and let us look. We had just left another local furniture store bec of being followed and pressured. With the help of this knowledgeable woman, we were able to match some accessories along with our new $6000 living room and its being delivered Monday!! Kudos to Tiffany and hoping to buy our next room of furniture through this associate. It was a pleasure!

We were looking for a bedroom set for my son and had to decide between two bedroom sets she was very informative and patient she allowed us to look around with no pressure. The selection in the store are beautiful. I will definitely be going back to purchase my bedroom and living room furniture. Im looking forward to working with Pam again.

2022-04-20I was in this establishment for over 2 hours. My mind is overwhelming with things I need to purchase being that I moved to this area in December. With this being said I had the most wonderful experience with this friendly, warm and caring employee PAM. She was an absolute doll. I kept looking at various items that I knew I needed and wanted and she was their every step of the way. I even told her I hope I wasnt wasting her time. Absolute doll. After searching and not knowing what to get, I showed her a pic of a bedroom set I seen in another location and asked her if she had that set she said yes its her favorite. Lets just say I left with a new bedroom set and will be going back and looking for Pam on all my future purchases. Thanks again Pam for a wonderful experience.

2022-02-21John was knowledgeable about the mattress and helped us pick the product we were looking for. We also needed an ottoman with storage. There wasn’t anything on the floor that fit our needs and he quickly found an ottoman online that was exactly what we needed. Delivery was super fast, we had our mattress they very next morning.

2022-07-03My Parents went into the Middletown NY store this morning and were shopping for a new bed. Since they don’t have a google account I told them they could use mine. They had a great experience with Carol who was very helpful and no pressure type of sales associate . They knew what they were looking for and she was able to make it very easy for them. The manager Kevin McGuire, came over and also made sure they were being well taken care of. They wanted me to give both these folks 5 stars! Thank you from my parents, Karen and Roger.
