I would never shop here again poor quality high price couch. I got the platinum protection that does not cover anything.They don’t tell you if the couch starts to peel that is not covered. I bought my couch 2 years ago and it is peeling all over that it looks like I pick up the couch from the street and now they says they can’t fix it or replace it because it is not cover . what a story they have they try to charge you for the protection so they can take more money from you
They lie. Dont believe anything they say in this store. I have waited over two months for a table they kept pushing the date. The sales person Josephine promised that the delivery will be made on the date just to make a sale. Even though the dates were being pushed not once did she call to discuss the matter. They called me the third time the date was changed and never refunded my money. I had to call back in order to get my money back. Avoid this store at all costs. Horrible service overall.
Raymour and Flanigan has been our familys go to store for years. The level of service is beyond expectations and they are certainly correct when they say we value you as a customer. These are not just words it is reflected in every action of the staff we encountered. From the customer care associate Cathy Gadalela who was professional, competent and patient. Never making you, as a customer feel you are an interruption of her time BUT truly reflecting her dedication to solving problems and helping with patience and kindness. Then the manager, Larisa Beigelman, her standard of professionalism, product knowledge, passion about her job and making the people she serves feel valued and worthy of her time is beyond words. No question went unanswered with her incredible patience and superior customer satisfaction skills. Then the store designer. Tom Puma, walking thru the store ( no sitting behind a desk for him) engaging customers, offering color and potential home accessories to compliment a purchases. Tom is an invaluable employee because when you purchase a different furnishing for your home ( or color couch) you hesitate to buy new as you worry about what paint will match and compliment the purchase. With Tom so accessible and willing to spend some time giving his professional opinion it made the purchase stress free. We are so grateful. Thank you.
Stay away !Horrible customer service. Called to order a pillow. New what I wanted. Asked when Can I get it , was promised 100% pillow for tomorrow because of neck problems. Asked 5 times if the stores guarantees tmrw said yes! Noone calls, I call the store at 6 p.m they telling oh we didnt get it it will be here friday which is another 3 days away.. what?? When you planed to call me ? Called to speak to customer after 15m on hold , was told she busy with client.Stay away!
I must say this experience was a much more pleasant experience then last time. My fiancé and I walked in yesterday and met a gentleman Gordon. I told him we wanted to look first. It’s a bit annoying when you walk in someplace and they are on top of you. He was very patient and informative with us. He did not have a problem showing us different things. Well we ended up not just buying a bed which we came for but a whole bedroom set. I thank you Gordon again for your patience and honesty that you had given us both and will be returning to see you.
I was greeted by Carl Petrigno who was very welcoming and willing to take his time for us to select the right mattress. He provided all the information necessary to ensure that as customers we were satisfied. Even offered next day delivery. Great experience at Raymour hope the mattress purchased does not disappoint.
My fiance and I have been comparison shopping at several competitors and needless to say we were less than impressed with both the selection and the prices.We finally made it to the store on Richmond Ave, and thats where we had the pleasure and great fortune of meeting Faoziyat Sansui.To say that we were treated like VIPs is an understatement. We were treated like family. She took the time to walk the entire showroom with us and helped us select the perfect items, and even a few, we didnt see initially. All in all, she took the time to explain any delays in shipping and finding the delivery day that worked for us.We couldnt have had an easier and less stressful time with anyone else.She is a true representation of the best in customer service and someone who goes the extra mile for the customers.We will definitely be back and look forward to working with Faoziyat again.
Our experience couldn’t have been any better. From the second we walked in the store The sales rep LaShaya (Shay) Collier was fantastic very informative not pushy at all just extremely helpful. Our furniture was delivered earlier then we were originally told the delivery went flawlessly and we couldn’t be any happier. Thank you Raymour for a truly professional experience we will absolutely be back to see Shay.
I had a very bad experience on my last purchase order was lied to and I was never refund my money that I should gotten got the run around for my bed mattress and couch after fighting back and fourth I finally got a phone call to go pick a different couch sent me all the way to NJ to get there and find out they only have few couch in stock crazy so I had to settle for something I didn’t want cause I was lied to it blew my mind how I was treated I lost it and fighting with sales managers and more I was done with it .. but I end going back to Raymor Flagnegin after speaking with a supervisor and promised me the world so I went and was greeted with a smile and her name was Shay she was amazing helpful and took her time with me was honest gave to me straight and also help me was not pushy made mw feel at home and that why I purchased and spent the $$$ I did cause of her she was amazing and more and on her day off she followed up with me I was wow that is Serivce and made sure I was ok and explained to me about the delivery and more I couldn’t be happier with Shay she was amazing and great at what she does she is manager type how she so knowledgeable and more thank you Shay for all your help with my stuff and the amount of money I spent again thank you !!! u make Raymor and Flagnegin what it is today
We have bought numerous stuff from this store and this review is only based on one specific item which is a couch. We purchased this item online and it looked really nice. We were waiting for this item for about 2weeks to come. When we finally picked up the item and brought it home we were so exited to open the boxes and assemble. From the very first piece coming out of the box this item looked nothing like online. The quality was the worst that can be, ikea has much better quality than this one. We tried to put the couch together the legs were so flimsy and not tight. This was the worst experience ever. I’m bringing this couch to the store and don’t care about the return policy. This is very very bad. Not worth a single penny.
Terrible service! The Frame on my couch broke after 2 years and is not repairable. We barely sit on the couch and the frame breaks. This is unacceptable. I spent a lot of money on my furniture and now i need to use my protection plan that I bought to get a new couch. So basically I the consumer has to pay for poor craftsmanship. I’m so disgusted. Don’t ever buy from Raymour and Flanagan!
Purchasing online proved to be challenging. I applied for financing and was instantly approved- very easy process- but was unable to complete the process of creating an account. Not sure if it was a glitch or what. However, I called and spoke with Steven Kaj, who was wonderful. He was able to complete my purchase and went through and explained each step. Made a frustrating process very easy in the end. What I ordered is unfortunately on back order for a few months, but I’m sure it will be great.
Excellent customer service. Donald, the manager is extremely helpful in addressing customers’ needs. I am very happy with my purchase and the way I was treated in this store. Trisha, the salesperson was very patient and helpful as well. I found all I was looking for in terms of pricing and quality. I strongly recommend everyone to visit this store.
Joe was very helpful and made sure we knew the best deals we could get during the Columbus Day sales. Ongoing issues with supply chain inventory requires making some compromises. I wasnt able to get the preferred color I wanted for my sectional without waiting several months for it, which I wasnt willing to do, but I did get a great price on a color I can live with that was in stock and deliverable within a week. So Im pretty happy.
Built up a bedroom set cart online but the night stand out of stock would delay the other items. Called instead and they set up delivery of, in-stock items for asap, and another delivery for when the nightstand became available at no additional cost and finally, a longer no-interest period than what the online offer was. The rep on the phone was a pleasure to deal with. He took the time to talk over the important fluff and efficiently processed the rest of the order. Excellent experience with the purchase. If I don’t follow up on the delivery and setup etc. it’s because it was also excellent.
Had an amazing experience today with Luisa M. At this location. She was able to help me with a new bed purchase and even help me with filing an insurance claim on a sofa I had before. Luckily she speaks Spanish and was able to assist me and my mother. The location is huge and clean and all employees where very friendly. They even offer free waters that you can help yourself. Loved the overall experience! Thank you so much Luisa!
I was looking for a new box spring and mattress. Sales rep was very knowledgeable about the different products. I told him what I was looking for and and he showed me all the options in my price range. After answering all my questions I was able to decide which mattress was right for me. Very stress-free shopping
We had an exceptional experience at Raymour & Flanigan in Staten Island. The salesman, Darrin, was helpful and patient with us. We had tons of questions and wanted to tour the showroom to make sure we chose the right dining sets. Darrin was not pushy at all and encouraged us to take our time and make sure we loved our choice. We will return when we are ready to purchase furniture for the rest of our home.
I purchased many furniture pieces on 2011 however , I needed to change my bed . When I walked in to Raymour and Flanigan today I was quickly greeted by a very nice lady whose name is Luisa Martinez . Well mot only was Ms Martinez a kind and patient associate but she was also very hospitable and friendly . It was as if we were friends before I came into your establishment. I was reluctant in buying a bed at Raymour and Flanigan because I only had intentions of buying a bed frame since I already had eyes on a mattress and bed frame from sleep number. Ms Luisa quickly changed my mind because of her patience and kindness I ended up buying my new bed at Raymour and Flanigan and I must say it is a beautiful bed and I really got a great price for it with your labor days savings. Ms. Luisa made it easy for me to make up my mind . I wish every place I shopped had a Luisa Martinez to help me because she gives a true meaning to great customer service . Thank you for having her in your store I hope you never lose her be cause with her there you have me as a customer for life. She deserves a raise . Just saying .
My mother was looking for a new living room set, so I brought her to Raymour & Flanigan. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a sales person Bright who was very helpful. We were also greeted by Yury Akilov, store manager, who was very professional and polite. After carefully listening to my mom’s needs, Yury and Bright were able to find the right living room set for the right price. My mom was very happy with purchase and service and so was I. Its the second time I go to buy furnture and I was very happy with the service. The sales rep showed me sofas based on what I was lookimg for and was very thorough in explaining the product details and this helped me decide which sofa set to buy. Once again, very happy with the Raymour team!
Salesman was terrific. Problem was the $159.99 charge for delivery (which won’t be until after new year) for a recliner, which probably won’t take more then 20 minutes between arriving and leaving. I complained about it next day and the cut in half. I could rent uhaul for $20. and pick up myself but they said it voids warranty
My fiancé were furniture browsing and decided to stop into it this store, right away Mark S. helped us out, even though we really had no idea exactly what we wanted and he helped us figure out what would work with our budget and housing space. He made the buying process comfortable, simple and quick for us. Beautiful pieces, clean store. Fantastic service highly recommend!
Victor Competiello was extremely professional and patient with my family and I. This was my first time buying furniture and he took me in as if I was his own daughter by sharing his knowledge and experience. After my purchase he even reached out to assure the delivery was smooth and that I was happy. I went to the Raymour & Flanigan store in Staten Island New York. My experience there was very good because I was Fortunate to have the sales consultant Carl Petrigno. GREAT GUY! He is very pleasant to work with, doesnt push you and doesnt push the most expensive pieces on you. He is very helpful with your selections on furniture and mattresses. He helps with financing options as well. Carl has lots of patience and is a catering and a great person to work with. Please ask for him if youre in the market to purchase furniture. Well deserved 5 STARS!!!!!!!
Jeffery was so helpful. We had great experience with him. His customer service was just outstanding it was the best customer service I ever had. My husband and I were looking for a recliner. We visited the Staten Island Raymour & Flanagan store. We worked with Shay Collier as a salesperson We had several specifications in regard to size and ease in delivery . Shay was beyond helpful and knowledgeable. She helped us find exactly what we wanted. What was most wonderful was how pleasant and easy she was to work with. She has a great sense of humor and made the shopping experience most enjoyable. We will be coming back for a table and chairs and will definitely want to work with Shay again.
Daniel went above and beyond to give us options, when we expressed our needs. He definitely gave us the whole experience and made us imagine how every piece would look like in our new place. We would definitely come back with Daniel for future purchases and we would also recommend his service to our friends and family too.
My mom and I came by last weekend and purchased some furniture. Darin Pollino our Home Furnishing Consultant provided us with outstanding customer service experience from the moment weve walked in. Darin listened and assisted us without being pushy. He was extremely professional, polite and went out of his way to make us feel comfortable.
We have made other purchases from Raymour and Flanigan and returned to purchase a mattress. Our Salesperson Calhid was excellent. He was patient, pleasant and professional. He made sure we were totally satisfied with our decision. Further, his supervisor came over and spoke with us. Also, very professional and honest. We decided to make the purchase and didnt go to any other stores to shop around .
Went to R&F in search of a new mattress to replace our 21 year old mattress. Sabina was our sales rep. She was very friendly and eager to help us find the best deal and mattress. She knew her stuff!! We had many questions and she answered all of them! We were going to shop around but our experience and working with Sabina made our decision easy! Look for Sabina if you plan to shop at R&F on SI!!
This is the 3rd couch I have purchased from this company. It was easy I knew what I wanted to get. The sales man was good in helping me. The only thing is that now they dont take the old couch you have to get someone yourself. Not sure how much that will cost me. Also because of the virus not sure when it will be delivered. I would buy from this store again. They do have a lot to choose from. I will rate the purchase after I get it in a few months.
My wife and I bought bedroom furniture from this store. We are very happy with our purchase. Our sales representative was John Noto, who was great. He was patient, helpful and a pleasure to deal with. He also was able to get our furniture delivered quickly. I would recommend John to any of my friends and family and certainly will be back when it comes time to finish another room.
My son and I went to Raymore & Flanigan over the weekend to buy a sofa and love seat. The furniture was spread out so that social distancing was possible. They had so many beautiful pieces to choose from. There was a great sale going on. Everyone wore a mask and they wore them correctly. I felt that my son and I were safe in the store. The salesperson was courteous. My son bought a gorgeous sofa and love seat and I bought him a chair. I was very satisfied with my experience.
We had the BEST sales associate, John Noto.We were not rushed or pressured.We walked around the store with ease and John was interested in what we were trying to accomplish with our purchases which he helped me accomplish.I cant wait to start my next chapter in life and Im doing so with Raymour & Flanigan furnishings 😉
I paid extra for the platinum protection program 1500 for a couch, ottoman and warranty. Two years later I contact them. The leather is peeling, all of the wood underneath the couch has broken. The back has torn. We called them and they sent an assessor out to decide if it could be fixed or had to be replaced. The guy came in and took pictures of the damage. Shortly after we received a call telling us that the damage is not covered by our protection program because it has accumulated. We should have called immediately. I said 1st of all we were told by the salesperson when we bought it that the only thing not covered is bodily fluids and 2nd of all how do u know that this didnt just happen? She replied that their salesmen will say whatever neccessary to sell and we should have read the brochure. She then stated its clear that it accumulated over time and is so therefore not covered under warranty. This place is a scam and their furniture is poorly built with cheap materials then sold at high rates. If I could give them zero stars I would
It was my first visit here, but the atmosphere is very welcoming and homey. Despite being a chain store, the attention of salespeople is very personal: they are very professional, greet you and answer all your questions, while never following your footsteps, giving you all the freedom and time to browse. I also like the great selection of furniture on display and the possibility to reupholster or custom build your pieces. Its a great deal of quality and experience for a very good value. I will definitely visit again in the future.
My in store experience was very pleasant and informative. My salesman Robert was very helpful and did not hover while I was shopping for new kitchen/dining chairs. However, when I received the chairs they were not the color that I saw in the store. They were described as brown, but in the store they look like taupe, which is what I wanted. The chairs I received were a dark grey. I called the store and sent them photos but I was told it was the lighting in the store and there was nothing else they can do. I really liked the chairs so I made it work in my kitchen and changed a few things up to match the chairs. I was very disappointed since I have purchased many furniture items from Raymour and Flanigan in the past and was very satisfied.
This R & F location is very clean, neat and put together very nicely. Our salesperson Brian was exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable. He caught on to my needs very quickly and steered us in the right direction. After leaving the store to return home to measure and check colors, I returned the next day to complete the purchase with Brian. Once again, Brian helped and guided us through the purchase. Sofa shopping was a pleasure with the help of the sales associate, Peter, at the Raymour and Flanigan store on Richmond Avenue in Staten Island. He listened to my likes and needs and showed me options. A friend came shopping with me and Peter gave us space to walk around, sit on the sofas of interest and mull over options, but was available when he was needed to answer questions and provide information about products and the sales process. I took a day to decide what I wanted and called Peter the next day to order my sofa and it was a smooth and easy transaction. I am thankful for Peters knowledge, kindness, patience and for making sofa shopping an enjoyable experience from start to finish. I look forward to receiving my new sofa!
I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Gordon Friend last September when I purchased a mattress from him. The experience was exactly what I wanted it to be and more. And I had the pleasure of working with him again this past week. He was ready and waiting for me when I arrived in the show room and instead of walking out of there with a outlet couch I walked out with The absolute most incredible loveseat and another mattress. Gordon once again went above and beyond to make me a very satisfied customer. Not only is he extremely knowledgeable about the products he is always the kindest most sweetest associate with a wonderful sense of humor. And both times he made sure that we worked out a plan that stayed with in my spending needs not to put myself in that again. He honestly treated me like I was his own daughter. I am so grateful for both of these experiences and I will tell anybody going into Raymour and Flanigan on Staten Island Richmond Avenue to specifically ask for Gordon Friend you will not be disappointed!
I never leave reviews but this time I have to. About two weeks ago I went to Raymour and Flanigan to look at bedroom sets. I had the pleasure of having Khaled (Kal) as the associate who helped me and boy did he go above and beyond to help. For one, unlike other associates I’ve dealt with in the past at other furniture stores, he wasn’t pushy or stalky in any way. I showed him a set my husband and I liked and he guided me to other sets of the same style, skipping over sets with more flair and pizzazz that were more then likely more expensive (we’re simple people). I ended up having to leave and come back (I had my infant with me at the time who he was amazing with btw) and when I did come back with my husband two weeks later he remembered me and my daughter and was just as patient as he was the first time. I really felt like he treated us as family and he gave us our space when we had it down to our final picks. I can’t tell you how many times we’ve bought furniture and the person helping you becomes a leech so the space was much appreciated. After looking up all the ship dates for us (which he did on his own to help us choose a set). We ended up buying one and honestly I can’t recommend Khaled enough. The store was great too, to have so many items in stock and not be told “you’ll have to wait months on basically everything” was great. But I’m telling you, go in and ask for Khal. If I could invite him to thanksgiving dinner with my family I would. Just an awesome guy who made a process my husband and I , as two indecisive people, were dreading, a joy.
The salesman told me he was giving me a free Tempur-Pedic pillow. When I looked at the bill I was being charged one hundred and forty nine dollars for the pillow. When I received my delivery I had to refuse the pillow. Now Im trying to call the store to make sure its removed from the bill. No one answers the phone. This is the second purchase Ive made from Raymour and Flanigan and both times Ive had a problem. I think the next time I am going to purchase furniture. Ill give another store a try. Im not satisfied with Raymour and Flanigan.
If I could take away stars I would! Negative stars 🌟. The most unprofessional, rudest customer service. Less than 1 year owning a bed from them and the only reason I switched from my bob-o-pedic of 10 yrs was because I upgraded from a full to a king. The bed pulled away from the frame over 4 months ago. It took 4 months to schedule a technician to come out. The day they were to arrive 2 hrs after wait time I called to reschedule because life needed to be had.I called today to get information about my platinum protection plan to make sure I didnt have to pay in addition to the $7,000 Ive already paid for a bed Ive had less than a year, that has been broken for 4 months and was told to contact my sales person Dan.I recieved a call from Dan. Hey its Dan heard you wanted to speak with me. I reiterated the above and was met with so what was the question. I wish I could return the whole thing and have his commission and stats removed. Dan is The Most incompetent, unhelpful sales person ever.I for the 3rd time today had to contact the rude customer service to have my question answered and was met with, well I see your appointment was rescheduled. Yes because after waiting 2 hrs after my 8 hr window I had things to do!I do not recommend! Go anywhere but here. Heed my warning!
We are recent homeowners. We were furniture shopping and ended up at Raymour & Flanigan in Richmond Avenue. We were immediately greeted and welcomed by Sam. He really took the time to get to know us and how we envision our new home. He took his time showing us around from bedroom sets to console with towers. He introduced us to the manager of the store who spent time with us walking. We went back the following day for more furniture shopping because we enjoyed the experience that much. Furniture are undoubtedly very good quality. I feel its a matter of choosing your style and shop in R&F because quality is fabulous regardless. We are very happy with our purchases. Definitely a place to shop for not only furniture but to receive amazing customer service. Thanks to Sam for his patience and professionalism. Will be back!!!!
Shay is amazing! I loved that she wasnt pushy, she is extremely knowledgeable about the products and she didnt try to over sell. I went in looking for a bedroom set and walked out with an amazing patio set and chaise lounge chairs (I didnt even know they sold outdoor furniture) and a couch for my basement. Im very happy with my experience

My husband and I went to purchase a mattress, my sister in law suggested dealing with Barry as she dealt with him for purchases made a few months ago. Im so happy we did. Barry listened to my needs and gave me many options and answered all my questions. He was not pushy which we truly appreciate. Such a great sales person and a pleasure to deal with. The person processing the transaction was also a sweetheart. Our new bed was delivered the next day exactly in the time frame they gave. I will definitely return to R & F.

I came into the store on the recommendation of a very good friend who had previously dealt with Peter Arbitrio. Id done a bit of research on your website prior to my visit (and liked two specific items) but wanted to see things in person. Peter showed me several sofas in my price point (including the Isabelle) & several that were slightly higher than I wished to spend, and I wandered around the showroom for a short while but ultimately purchased the sofa I thought I would. Peter listened attentively as I debated the selections available without trying to sell me and was very easy to interact with. He was very engaging, very friendly, helpful and professional. My check out was smooth and afterwards Peter showed me end tables when I asked what was available in my price range. I highly recommend Peter to anyone who wants a pleasant, no-pressure shopping experience. I cannot wait for my new sofa to arrive - delivery is set for Monday, April 19th. 😀. TY! I recently purchased a mattress at Raymour & Flannigan. The sales person was very professional and knowledgeable in helping us select just the right mattress for our needs. They have reasonable prices and free delivery at a certain price point. I buy most of my furniture from Raymour and am always highly satisfied.
The sales rep Lashaya Collier was excellent, gave us the space privacy we needed when i was discussing things with my wife. Also allowed us to take our time with looking around and checking what interested us. Polite and not pushy at all. Explained the different types and qualities of furniture that peaked our interest. In the end made a large purchase with her assistants , and i am glad she assisted us in our purchase. A+A+A+ Absolutely suggest this sales woman! My fiancé and I worked with Gordon who was absolutely wonderful. Really sweet and personable, and treated us with respect without being pushy. We were able to find a mattress and bed frame we loved in less than two hours while having a pleasant experience. I recommend him to anyone who needs some good information on what the best mattress for them is, he was super knowledgeable on all of our questions. Plus, they could’ve done next day delivery if we wanted. Five stars all the way, will definitely be back when we’re ready to shop for the other rooms in our apartment. :)
I recently moved to NJ and went to another furniture place that gave me 8 week delivery on the set I chose. When it was coming near to the date I called for status and they said it would be another 3 months. A friend recommended Gordon at the Staten Island location and even had his private contact information. When I called and told him my situation and what type of set I was looking for, he immediately was on a mission. He called me back within an hour and had a sectional similar to what I was looking for and within 5 days it was delivered and looks beautiful. Gordon of Staten Island Raymour & Flanigan you are an exceptional sales person! Thank you for all you did!! I will most definitely be shopping with him from now on.
My wife and I went to Raymore in Staten Island NY with my kids, 3 and 1. We hooked up with an older gentleman Carl who was fantastic. Not only was he courteous and professional but very patient with us having to continuously make sure our 3 year old wasnt playing on the furniture. He answered all of our questions to satisfaction, over about 45 minutes, and worked with us to understand our needs for the rooms we were furnishing. We ended up with two sofas, a love seat, and an arm chair that we are very happy with. I would definitely recommend them, Carl in Staten Island in particular.
Superior customer service from Steven! Steven helped to find the solutions for a space with troublesome dimensions. He went above and beyond by drawing a sketch of the space and making the best recommendations for it. He was very thorough throughout the interaction and advised and recommended like a professional interior designer. Without a doubt ask for Steven!
BEAWARE OF THIS PLACE!!!We went to them instead of buying online so during these rough times a sales person can get a commission from this sale. We wanted to help and in return we got screwed by this store.We walked in to buy a set that was displayed and were told by the sales person the items were readily available and we will receive them delivery promptly. We were in no rush to receive it so we waited on their call.A month went buy so we started calling them and asking for delivery and they became very rude with us and treating us like we were bothering them and that they didnt promise anything.A few weeks later the delivery came and guess what ... it was a partial delivery.Another month goes by while we were still waiting for the rest of the items, mean while the first delivery was not assembled.Today the second delivery came and once they assembled the pieces we realized the chest was far too big and it didnt work in our space so we asked the driver to take it back. The driver asked we call the store.I called this store 50 times to finally get a response - we explained to the manager the whole dilemma and he became extremely rude and told us I dont care what was promised to youEVERYONE BEAWARE OF THIS PLACE .. we have shopped at a lot of different Raymour stores and have never had to deal with this nonsense.We are speaking to their corporate office but shouldnt have to deal with this.
I am not a big fan of sales people. I was happy though. The salesman we dealt with was very good. No pressure, polite and very informative. He also knew when to leave us and just let my wife and I browse alone. We bought a bedroom set that was on display and was satisfied with the price and the quality.Most impressive was the repair experience I had. Everything was great when the furniture was delivered, but over time, a spot showed up in the finish of the night stand. We did not pay extra for the additional warranty but the set was still covered under the initial 1 year warranty.A repairman showed up within two weeks and did the repair right there in our home. Took about a half hour and it looks great. He even removed a few minor scratches that I didnt expect to be repaired.
I walked in and was greeted by Shay. That was MY lucky day. Listened to what I wanted... made suggestions and I kept hearing her say you would like Canadel. Boy did she listen AND know exactly what Id love. Placed order. She was so personable, compassionate and kind. Raymour... she is a keeper!!! !
I greeted by Jeffrey and it was the most pleasant sales man Ive ever met. I was looking for a queen size firm mattress and he knew exactly what I wanted and explained the everything I did not know and the price was excellent and he walked me around the show room. At the end of my visit I brought the mattress to my liking and I will definitely go back in the future for my furniture. As my son had recommended me to shop there. I had the pleasure of shopping this past week at the S.I Raymour and Flanagan store. i needed to furnish 2 bedrooms,a kitchen and living room. My saleslady spent 5 hours with me as I went back and forth shopping. The quality of the furniture is great,the choices limitless. I know I will be very pleased with my choices when they are delivered next month.
I went to Raymour & Flanigan this weekend and i encountered the best Home Furnishing Consultant ever. He introduced himself and asked me what was I looking for. I told him and without wasting my time he listened then showed me exactly what I was looking for, his name is Khaled Elbahlawan, he works in the Staten Island Store. We had a pleasant time at Raymour when we order our dinning room and living room sets .. a sales man by the name Luis was really nice and knowledgeable of his merchandise. We went back the next day for measurements and Luis wasn’t there, and the sales man that was there was really pushy and followed us around the store and made us feel uncomfortable.. we understand that it’s there job to help but I had told him that we did not need his help ,and that all we came for was just for the measurements. But he proceed to follow us.. and this is why I gave 4/5 stars
My mother and I stopped by Raymour & Flanagan in Elmhurst today to purchase new mattresses. We were helped by Eric Schmer. He was kind, patient and extremely knowledgeable about the mattresses and bases that R&F sells. If youre in the market for new furniture or bedding, I highly suggest that you stop at Raymour & Flanagan and see Eric.
CK was absolutely phenomenal, he made the entire couch buying experience painless. My wife and I took a while to make our final decision and he did not rush us or get frustrated at all. I highly recommend Raymour and Flannigan on Staten Island for any of your interior furniture purchases.
The sales man Robert Cassara was awesome and very patient with us during our visit let us think with no pressure. It was an online only and didn’t give up till we found the set ( and it is the only one to fit the space) we bought it in 1 hour and we’re on our way. We will definitely use him again for our future furniture needs.

As always the sales associate was very knowledgeable about All of the pieces we were interested in. We went to browse and in 30 minutes purchased a sofa and 2 recliner chairs. When we explained what we wanted he took us right to three sets, any of which were perfect. No need to search any further. We hardly wait for the delivery.

I had a wonderful shopping experience with R & F sales associate Carl in the Richmond Ave Staten Island showroom.I purchased furniture to outfit my new apartment including 2 bedroom sets, a dining room set and a sofa. Carl was extremely patient as I weighed different furniture options-taking the time to explain all of the different ideas to consider such as space needed, function, style and of course, cost.Needless to say, I am very satisfied with my shopping experience and with R&F delivery service.I recommend anyone who may be a bit hesitant with a furniture purchase, ask for Carl at the Richmond Ave showroom for a no pressure, honest and thorough shopping experience.
My husband and I went to the Staten Island store Memorial Day weekend. Victor C. was our sales associated and helped us with our new dining room set and living room set. He was very patient and helpful. I contacted a sales associate prior to my arrival to see if a dining set I eyed online was in the showroom for me to see. She informed me that it was not but would be more than happy to show me others similar to what I was looking for. I made an appointment for the next day and she was prepared with not only other online options for me, but showed me numerous sets in the store. Staten island Raymour has the best showroom, i live in PA but went to that location and bought on 3 different occasions for a new home. My sales person Darin Pollino was the best there is, we bought not only because of the quality product and great showroom, but because of Darin!!
I purchased a low profile box spring with white glove service. The salesman C.K. Was extremely helpful and I received the item next day. Delivery personnel were friendly and courteous and I am thoroughly pleased with my purchase and service from Raymour & Flanigan. Especially the notifications on delivery right to the minute.

I must say I’m very impressed, Been dealing with this store for about nine years now and I have never seen the Customer pick up department in (the rear of the store), so organized. In the past it was always a lot of mixups and the guys took for ever to bring the items out, but now it’s a complete different ballgame.Mr Kelso And Mr Chris shown me how important it is to see professionalism at its finest & how expeditiously getting things done for the customer ,can makes life So much easier.These two workers may not get a lot of credit because they are behind the scenes,But I’m going to acknowledge them as a great additive to the Raymour Flanagan family of Staten Island,They need to be acknowledge more for their great work and help as well.

Our Salesperson Carl was very helpful and gave us room to make decisions. We spent hours in the store picking out several rooms of furniture which we aren’t ready to deliver yet but our selections and sale prices will be saved until we’re ready for delivery. We would definitely shop here again.
Got a couch and loveseat from here - the furniture is super comfortable, the price was decent and and the delivery was smooth! I appreciated being able to walk around the store without being hawked by a sales rep., as soon as I walked onto the showroom floor.When I was ready to seek out answers, I went to Customer Service and spoke with the Customer Service Manager. She gave direct, to the point answers, to my questions and sent me to an available sales person to write up the order. I was able to choose how I could make the payments affordable and within our Family budget. The salesman was just as easy to deal with. My wife has wanted this Kitchen Island, for approximately two years - and our patience finally paid off. The Sale Price was $220 off - instead if the usual $20-30.00 off, as at other times. I have six months to pay it off, with zero percent interest. I would consider returning for future furniture needs, as the experience was very positive and hassle-free.
I ordered my furniture two sofas and kitchen table set back in August of 2020. The delivery date has changed several times since I purchased the sofas and table. The Salesperson Elvis, wasnt honest and forthcoming about how long the furniture would take to be delivered. I was first told it would be late September than early October for the Sofas and table would be 3 week of October. I would call again and again for updates to find that the table was in stock and still waiting for the Sofas should be here by the 12th of October. Table has since been delivered and now Sofas might arrive sometime around November 10 of 2020. I wanted this furniture by Halloween and for the upcoming Thanksgiving and Christmas. However who knows what is going to happen. Raymour & Flanigan lack customer service in which one manager was disrespectful and not understanding or even courtesy when speaking to her on the phone while I was I set and disappointed in whats going on with my order. Makes me wonder about the Raymour & Flanigan company, once trusted and respectable.
First off, our sales associate proved to be a real mattress expert. He was engaging, human and patient. He answered all question and acted more like a neighbor than a pressure seller. We met Carl, our salesman, at the door. We were looking for a very specific item to match existing furniture. Carl was very friendly, helpful, & patient. We didn’t purchase the bed right away. We came back two days later and met with Carl again. Our mattress purchase was available for delivery the next day. I would recommend Carl and Raymour & Flannigan to anyone looking to purchase furniture.

Everything is EXTREMELY OVERPRICED!! So disappointed with the prices there.. quite a few of the sales men are rude and not helpful at all. We asked this one guy for help and he just seemed miserable. He answered no questions, spoke with the bare minimum of effort. He didn’t know what he was talking about either, every question we asked he didn’t have an answer to or just replied with a mumbled yes or no, we got no straight answer. He definitely didn’t seem like he was trying to make a sale at all. We ended up not buying the couches we wanted because of him and his attitude and having no questions answered. Also a love seat and couch were the same price somehow. They were each about $3k, very weird a love seat and couch are the same price.
Best customer service I’ve ever experienced. Steven helped us tremendously during a very difficult time. He made sure we got our sectional as soon as possible. Everyone here treats you like family, and it made a usually stressful process run smoothly and effortlessly. I will definitely be shopping here again and recommend all my friends to Steven and the staff at Raymour and Flanigan in Staten Island!
Sunday I went to purchase a coffee table and Mattress $1600 purchase. The mattress has free delivery but the coffee table is $79. For this large of a purchase it should be free but the manager agreed to $40. I was told the coffee table was in stock and would be delivered first and the mattress would be a few days. Today is Wednesday and I didnt hear from anyone so I decided to call and I find out they are waiting for the mattress, should be there Friday Im told and can deliver Saturday with the table. I asked why are they charging me then if they are coming the same day. I was agreeing to the $40 because it was going to be delivered days earlier but if they already have to come to my home to deliver the mattress they arent going out of their way. I said to cancel the order, the woman said hold on then came back to the phone and said its fine just cancel the order. This company would rather lose $1600. Business must be amazing. Guess I wont be going there again.
This was my first time buying from R&F. Robert was very friendly and helpful. He didn’t stalk us in the store while we browsed. When we were ready to make a purchase he was very insightful on adding the care package to our new Sofia. We will definitely buy again from R&F.
The product was good, the delivery team was very good, I was severely disappointed with the sales and customer service from this location. Had 2 orders for 6k for my new place and cancelled an order simply based on customer service. There was no communication for items being delayed and all it was was a single phone call to update which never happened. As soon as the credit card was swiped I feel like I was chasing the team for updates instead of complete omg the sale and being updated from the sales associate. I would not recommend this service to my friends or family and will be taking my business elsewhere for the rest of my furniture. Disappointed with the customer service from this location.
Our salesperson John Noto was fantastic. Went through every option available when searching for specific items, i.e., sofa and matching chair, and custom made kitchen table & chairs. Just purchased items yesterday, and already the sofa and chair are available for delivery. I am a returning customer since I know my previous puchases are of the highest quality for the price. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for quality furniture. Will return once again for all my furniture purchases.
My experiences at RF have always been positive. My salesperson, Gordon Friend, is helpful and patient and it is a good feeling to have someone to turn to who can answer all your questions and follows through to pick up or delivery. Very pleased with store and salesman.
I haven’t gotten my couch that I got yet because it’s being delivered in the middle of December but I just wanted to say that my experience while visting here was amazing. I got greeted with a consultant right away and his name was John Noto, he made this visit so much easier and was so patient with us. He also made a few jokes there and there that made us have a better experience. This visit to here was succesful and we got what we wanted! 5 starts to the consultants and to this furniture place!

I ordered a couch from Raymour & Flanigan during the pandemic. There were some problems with delivery due to Covid but the salesman handled everything and was the BEST. If you buy anything at this store, in SI, ask for Steve Kaj. He is professional and will do all he can to make sure you have a good experience. He contacted the manufacturer many times and kept me updated as to the progress or my order. Steve kept his word and the couch was delivered
Purchased a couch at this location in October. I was greeted by the staff quickly and professionally. Took no longer then 20 minutes to select the couch I wanted and to check out.The reason for the one star is because after 10 attempts at phoning into the store to check on the delivery status of my couch, no one answered. The person on the other end of the phone kept picking up and then hanging up the phone or after a few rings sent it to a busy tone.I was forced to call the location in Jersey and they answered on my first call and assisted me.
So happy with the selection in the showroom, and my sales associate CK displayed great customer service he assisted me throughout the whole process from ordering to delivery, he made sure to keep me updated and kept me informed about my order. As well as helping me choose beautiful couches.

2022-07-15This place was absolutely amazing. The staff is incredibly helpful in helping you pick out the best furniture for your specific needs or preferences. They are very knowledgeable about their products and our salesman Elvis took his time and did not rush us or pressure us at all. I highly recommend this place if you want good quality furniture you know will last and great customer service. Another great thing I like is their protection plan is done in house so there is no 3rd party contractor that you can get stuck in the middle of a its their responsibility between companies.

2022-07-05From the moment we stepped off the escalator our salesman, Meir was excellent. Very helpful, took his time showing us each bedroom setup, understood what I was looking for. The process after selecting my bedroom set was very smooth and quick. Lisa took the time to explain what the next step was. Overall I had an excellent purchasing experience and would definitely buy from Raymour and Flanagan again.

2022-07-30They had what we wanted on the floor and in stock and the sales associate was knowledgeable. But he was also the epitome of swindling and did a hush-hush discount that ended up costing us about $20 more than if we just ordered it online or didnt have his help. Im not going to name names over $20 but Im just really annoyed over the interaction and wouldnt deal with him again.

2022-07-10I don’t know what’s happening in this place every time we go in the sales persona are on top of you and not in a very nice way. This one particular sales person whose name I am not going to mention but i am sure after reading this comment he will know I am talking about him was extremely nasty pushy and was agitated that I found the price for a product steep. He made fun of my price tag that I could afford. You are in the business of selling and treating people with respect either they are buying or not is very essential.I was 100% going to buy something but due to his nasty behavior I left and took my business else where. Another thing I noticed was you can’t walk around the store without being chaperoned by the sales people. No privacy no personal space is given. I am seriously considering stop shopping there for future. Let people walk around make up their minds. If they need assistance they will definitely call for help.

2022-06-07Meir Cohen helped my wife and I pick out a new sofa yesterday, we had no idea how much it would cost of if it would fit. Meir had a tape measure ready to go and was on hands and knees helping us take measurements, Meir actually recommended a nicer couch that save us money and is going to look awesome in our new place. 2022-07-03Although I went there already knowing what I wanted, Josephine, the sales woman was very helpful in finding the set I wanted and putting together the changes I wanted and just making it all happen for me. If I was there 30 minutes start to finish, that was a lot. It was a great experience.
