We found what we wanted (after seeing it online) with the assistance of a helpful associate and wound up buying a sectional as well, adding to a previous order of a couch. The three pieces were written up separately and my reason for only giving four stars is that we were charged three different delivery charges. Fortunately, I caught it, called, and my complaint was duly noted and fairly quickly corrected, however this was an error that should not have occurred. That said, we are delighted with our purchases, despite the inclusion of some really ugly throw pillows that we will never use!
If I could give ZERO stars, I would. We purchased a stearns and foster mattress, box spring, and mattress protector (totaling $1600 before tax) in December 2019. In July 2021, we contacted them about the mattress failing. There is a sink hole on my husband’s side. The company came out to look and “measure” the depression. First there was a stain on the mattress so they said there was nothing they could do. After reminding them we purchased the mattress protector from them (which obviously didn’t work), they said the depression wasn’t deep enough to replace the mattress, but they offered to have the mattress professionally cleaned.A company came to clean the mattress but could not get the whole stain out.Fast forward to May 2022, I laid on my husband’s side of the bed and could not believe how horrible it was. He already has a bad back (s/p surgery), and there is no way a healthy back would be able to tolerate the crater in the bed. I called R&F again to evaluate the mattress. They sent someone out to measure, and again, they initially said because of the stain there was nothing they could do. I, again, reminded them I purchased the mattress protector and then they said well the depression isn’t large enough. I begged them to just LAY on the bed. You cannot SEE a depression with a pillow top on the bed. They won’t do it. I wish I could leave the mattress on their sidewalk before people walk in the showroom so the customers can feel what $1600 feels like after less than 3 years.DO NOT BUY A MATTRESS HERE. RUN, RUN, RUN.
Would definitely go back again. Not the cheapest option available, but you get what you pay for and it’s impossible to see & feel furniture/mattresses online. Glad there are still stores available locally to shop. Roger Blair helped us out, he was extremely nice, thank you Roger!
Salesperson friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. When I asked if I was picking up at store I was told it would be delivered. I didn’t realize that almost $60 was added for delivery fee. I’m going with the delivery, but transparency on process could be better. I would have saved the money and picked it up myself.
Phenomenal experience for the second time at Raymor and Flanigan. Nick Cusimano was informative, not pushy and overall a pleasure to work with. Immediately Nick asked what our budget was for a mattress and after telling him he said “I can get you in a great mattress for far less than that.” He stayed true to his word, found us a fantastic mattress that has everything we wanted for $1000 under budget. Fantastic experience. Previously i got all my living room furniture from Raymor, now our mattress. I will come back for a kitchen table next!
I came in today and dealt with Nancy at the Erie Blvd location . Nancy was extremely helpful , friendly , knowledgeable and professional . She made the not so pleasant task of furniture shopping in a stressful time of life into a real joy and alot of fun and we ended up buying more then what we came in for . Nancy is a real asset to you company and a pleasure to deal with !
Wonderful customer service! Delivery young men were so polite. Their names were Kevin and Jerry. I can’t say enough about Raymour &Flanigan. I have now purchased three items from their store since I moved back from Florida and each piece was delivered with care. A wonderful store to do business with

My husband and I just purchased a summer home in Jamestown, NY. We stopped by Raymour & Flanigan to look at furniture for our new home. Wow! Such nice people. They gave us room and space to look around and take our time. Lovely to do business with them. Excellent service. We plan to furnish our entire home with them. 5 stars!!!
Our rep, Nicole Hebert, was friendly, knowledgeable & very helpful. I couldnt make a decision on the lift recliner I was interested in without seeing it in person (to see if the color would coordinate with my Moms loveseat, also purchased at Raymour & Flsnigan) so Nicole arranged to have the recliner brought out to the showroom floor for us.
The salesperson was wonderful. However the managers do not know how to communicate when something goes wrong with delivery times or a broken base. They never called me back to handle any of my issues.I found out that I had to call some other company on a broken base that wasn’t even a day old. And then it took that company over a week to get to me.I also did the financing which I did not want to do and was told no interest for x amount of months and I only owned the bed a week and was told I was in default and interest is being charged.If my issues are not resolved soon I will be returning everything to them and going to a different furniture store.
I was interested in a new mattress and frame. The salesman was knowledgeable and helpful so I could make an informed decision on which was best for me without breaking the bank. I purchased a mattress and frame! I will definitely return for any future furniture I may want and ask for the same salesman. Thank you Thom for your assistance.
The sales team was very helpful with finding exactly what I wanted. They took the time to show me different styles and fabrics that I was happy with. Not at all pushy and very good at making suggestions. The checking out process was also stress free. My last experience was at Ashley furniture and I would never shop there again. I recommend Raymour and Flanigan, ask for CJ or Carlos.

Our Salesperson, Nancy was thorough and professional during the entire shopping experience. She explained differences and features, and I love my new Thera Pedic mattress after the first 2 nights! The credit and purchasing process was equally EZ and professional. Later, the same day as delivery, that mattress went on sale and Management processed the price difference as a credit without breaking a sweat. Some places you have to fight for that, but not at Raymour & Flanagan.
Associates were very professional and I was able to place an order without waiting for stock to come in. They had what I was looking for and it was delivered within 2 days. I wasnt sure I would be able to find anything on a Sunday, but they took care of everything for me...Great job !!
The place was great the service was great but:1- the mattress we laid on in the store was not the same as what we got.2- the massage we tried in the store was great, quiet very smooth, the one we received was very noisy (I can hear it going when im in the lower level watching TV while the mattress is in the bedroom in the upper level all the way at the other end of the house.3- On the Simmons web site it says that the mattress cover is included with the mattress at no charge, we were charged $149.00 for it.
The help we got from salespeople on a recent visit to Raymour and Flanigan was excellent. They were knowledgeable and caring and guided us through our selections with expertise. Customer service was perfect when we had a question after our purchase. Can’t say enough good things about our experience. Will definitely return here first for any future purchases.
Everyone was super nice and welcoming. We felt no pressure to purchase anything and they also were very helpful with good advice. The prices are higher than other furniture store but the quality is better too. They are also willing to lower the price some which makes the experience better.Special thanks to Nicole, she was great with us.
My wife and I had a fantastic experience with Raymour & Flanigan on Erie Boulevard. We went in a couple months ago not really expecting to purchase anything, but on the lookout for living room and bedroom furniture for our new home. We were greeted at the door by Roger who was very kind and not at all obtrusive or salesman-y. He offered his assistance and then gave us the space to roam the showroom looking at various pieces of furniture. He checked in with us occasionally to answer any questions. We appreciated that he was not pushy. When we found a sectional that we absolutely loved, Roger walked us through to process of making the purchase, taking advantage of the special offer at that time, and how delivery would work. Any question that he did not immediately know the answer to, he politely excused himself to ask a colleague. We placed a down payment for the sectional knowing that delivery would be a couple months out (standard across the industry during this time). Over the ensuing weeks, Roger called periodically to keep us updated. Finally, he called last week saying every piece of our sectional was in and that we could take care of payment and set up delivery. Delivery occurred within two days of the R&F warehouse receiving the sectional. The delivery crew was prompt, friendly, and amenable to all of my requests. Unfortunately, my sectional did not come with all of the hardware to attach each piece. The crew made note of this and as soon as they left, I called the store and spoke with a representative who said he would make the arrangements to get me the hardware, even offering to have a crew come out and install it for me, which I graciously declined. Being that it was a Sunday, I wasnt hopeful Id hear back any time soon, but the very next day I received a phone call from a gentleman at R&Fs warehouse who said he had the hardware and could bring it by my house personally within a half hour, which he did. The hardware was easy to install myself and now Im sunk into my brand new, very comfortable sectional typing up this lengthy review to let other potential customers know that my experience was excellent all the way across the board. From Roger to the delivery crew to the warehouse, the customer service was all I could ask for and more for my first major foray into furniture shopping.
We recently visited the store to look for a new bed frame. Immediately upon arrival we were greeted by John. John was a great help during our entire visit. He showed us where we needed to be, let us look around on our own and then was ready right away for all the questions we had. He was very great about giving us space to discuss and make our decision, but was always right there when we needed him. We ended up purchasing a bed and are beyond satisfied with our purchase and the whole experience. Thank you, John!
Tas was knowledgeable and walked us through every step of the way. She asked specific questions that helped her offer suggestions that fit what we were looking for. Even though I wasn’t able to finance she continued to be kind and helpful and gave us the information we needed to place our items on an affordable layaway plan. We were able to find not only the living room set we initially went in for but the perfect mattress and dining room table. Very impressed and grateful she was our salesperson.
My partner and I are moving out of state next month and wanted to use it as an opportunity to upgrade our mattress. The idea was that we could buy it from one of the online stores and have it shipped, so we wouldnt have to account for moving it from Syracuse to Providence, but we wanted to try the mattresses out first.We were pleased to find Roger so helpful and patient in the store, and even more pleased that the online Casper sale on the mattress we liked was reflected at in-store prices PLUS better return services through R&F if we decide its not for us PLUS PLUS they could have it delivered on a specific date instead of hoping that shipping from an online purchase would arrive too early or late. All this, and then the actual process of purchasing thing via phone with Tom a few days later was smooth, easy, and so much more painless than we ever expected.They told me adulting was hard.
Appreciated the straight-forward layout of the showroom! Also being able to review items online ahead of time was super helpful and made it easier for us to narrow down our shopping experience in the store. Prices are very comparable (and in some cases better) to competitors in the area (we did our homework!). Our salesman (Nick) was awesome about pointing us in the right direction for the pieces we wanted to see in person. Nicks knowledge of the products and lead times was outstanding. But what we appreciated the most - he had the perfect balance of checking in with us, without hovering. This allowed us to shop without any pressure.
I had the worst experience at Raymour and Flanagan on Erie blvd. I went in one day for a bedroom set came back two days later to add on a living room set and dining room set. I wanted to get the living room set price matched to value city. My current sales person Melissa said the manger has to approve it. She came back and said The store manager Katie said they can t price match it because it wasn’t the same vendor. It was the exact same set when you google the name the exact same set shows up on value city. So I asked what was cooperate number Melissa said I can have you talk to my manager which I really didn’t want to because she already said no. So me talking to her wouldn’t have changed anything. She insisted on getting her manager and I asked why they wouldn’t honor the price match again she stated it wasn’t the same vendor. So I asked her how do she know it’s not the same vendor because I called value city while at Raymour to find out the vendor. They said they can’t give out that information. So how would she know who the vendor is. She said she will get online to check. I said so if you didn’t know why would automatically tell me it wasn’t but you never went to verify the information to see if it was the same vendor. So she goes to check online she comes back and says yeah it’s not the same vendor and pulled up the couch off Home Depot and showed it to me saying this is the couch. I said why are you showing me something off Home Depot when I asked you to price match something off value city. You automatically said no before verifying you can approve the price match. I asked for corporate number she asked me why do I need corporate number when she already said no. I told her I don’t want to talk to her anymore and I would like corporate number. She was very rude and gave me a very rasict vibe. I purchased multiple items in the past from this location and I never had a issue like this before. Not only was I purchasing a bedroom set I was coming in to add a living room set and dining room set. I feel my business was not wanted and I will be back to cancel my previous order and get a refund and go to the clay location. The store manager Katie on Erie blvd needs to be re trained on her customer service skills and treat people how she would want to be treated and talk to.
We went to Raymour’s looking for a new living room set. Before we bought it we talk to the saleswoman about the reviews online. Regarding shipping. Nicely, she explained with COVID there were delays. All she could tell is the date the system provided. She felt they were are back on schedule. We did not want to buy furniture & have to wait for months to get it. Well, here we are. Victims of the delay. We contacted Raymours office to see about compensating us with a discount regarding the amount of time we have to wait. No one ever got back to us it was ignored.If you’re looking for furniture do not trust the honesty of the store. the reviews online regarding the shipment dates are all true.
I have bought almost all of my furniture including mattresses from Raymour over the past 35 years. Its great quality and they stand behind their product. I had an issue with a recliner which they replaced twice and then finally refunded full amount and was able to purchase a different recliner. My current living room furniture has held up amazingly for the past 6 years - its pretty close to looking like the day I bought it and I have two large boys and their friends who have laid all over it! I have over the past few transactions dealt with Nicole who is just great.
I had a great experience in-store with the salesperson, but I am so bothered by the fact that R&F markets and pushes free next day delivery on their mattresses when I bought my mattress 4 days ago and it has yet to arrive. At the store we were told it was going to arrive tomorrow, as we were finalizing the purchase, an employee told us it will actually be 2 days as the mattress is in another state, that wasnt a problem (when in reality, the salesperson should have double-checked this before pushing free next delivery on us incessantly). Then 2 days passed, we got a phone call that it was going to be another day because the mattress got damaged during shipment. Another day passed, we got an email confirmation that it was going to be arriving that morning, 1.5 hours later we get a phone call that the mattress was going to be delayed ANOTHER day due to damage again. I feel bad for the salespeople and delivery people that work for this company that makes false promises. If the expectation was set from the beginning that the delivery would take 3-5 days, I would have no issue. Stop marketing that you have free next day delivery on mattresses when your company is clearly prone to delivery damages. My partner went into the store to discuss this in person with the Raymour and Flanigan team in East Syracuse and the manager wasn’t of much help, offered a $100 dollar store credit which we turned down because we will never shop here again. After more conversation (an hour later) he agreed to take $100 of our purchase which means nothing to us because that’s the value of a pillow after we spent thousands of dollars on a mattress and bed frame. This wasn’t a small, cheap purchase if it had been I would feel very differently right now. I have no issues with the way we were treated by the staff but R&F as a company is misleading, stop marketing free next day delivery on your mattresses because I can see from other reviews this is not accurate!
I am appalled at the aggressive behavior the employees have. I had one call me back and text me twice in one day. Then the next. I felt pressured even though I told her I would let her know. Obviously they would have found out when and if a sale was made. When you walk in the door they all look like they are ready to attack. I decided to go somewhere else and found brand name furniture better looking and 1 ,000 dollars cheaper.
What a fantastic experience. We were greeted at the door by a congenial store representative, Thom Norris. We recognized immediately that he knew what he was doing. Not pushy! Turned us loose after a short info session and then rejoined us once we found what we liked. He then explained options that were available without any pressure. After fielding our questions, he drew up the details of our order and came up with a fair price that was better than our expectation. I’m sure that we will return to Raymour & Flanigan in the future and recommend Thom to friends and family.
The entire experience was great. My girlfriend and I had already done our research and had our decision down to two or 3 bed sets. The salesman , Nick was very knowledgeable, patient, and gave off a no pressure vibe. Checkout was easy, I had already qualified and set up my credit account before I even showed up, so all I had to do was show my license and sign my name on a few dotted lines and that was that. I would highly recommend Raymour because of their staff alone. Prices and financing options are great too!
Our salesman was top notch, C.J. Roche, he personable, professional and sincere. Seemed genuinely sincere while helping us with our purchases. I return to this location because the way they treat me. The delivery showed up 10 minutes early and it was awesome! The 2 gentleman that serviced us were genuine and professional, and made sure we were all set before they left! Top notch service! Had a great experience purchasing a new mattress set. Sales associate John Zych made it an easy task. After listening to our logistical concerns(narrow staircase, for starters) and different mattress type preferences for both my husband and I, we very quickly narrowed it down to the perfect one! I would be amiss if I didn’t express my appreciation for the two polite and hardworking gentlemen that actually got the purchase up that aforementioned staircase. Pleasant experience all around!!!
They do not honor sale prices on mattresses with competitors and the mattress was over retail price for a discontinued mattress (Beautyrest black queen size should be $1500 not $2500 before sale price) But thats not the main problem because I recently bought one for $600! The problem was I wanted to purchase a living room set today but got brushed off by salesperson for 2 other people who didnt even enter the building yet! Maybe my initial question about the mattress annoyed him or he really wanted to go to lunch but I guess no business with me and a few others will follow my lead.
Put money down to hold couches and chair for our family room. Was very easy to work with Pat, our salesperson. He let us wander the store (Erie Blvd.) for the most part but kept checking in to see if we had questions, etc. He seemed very knowledgeable about the different brands of furniture and helped us decide several buying issues without trying to upsell us.
My parents had ordered 2 stand up assist recliners online. When they arrived they found them too uncomfortable and difficult to operate. The company was willing to work with us to exchange them for the ones that my parents wanted. Im very impressed with that.i highly recommend Raymour and Flanagans!
Rodger Blair was one of the best sales people I’ve ever met knew his stuff gave me a few recommendations I went to the store the night before to look without my Fiancé I told him I’m not buying nothing but if u work with me and my questions I’ll buy something tomorrow HE DID NOT try and push a sale respected me as a Customer and made me feel welcome I went back the next day with my fiancé and purchased a whole sectional set hands-down one of the best customer service people around. Thank you Roger I will be doing business in the future..

John Zych is always so good to work with! He sold us our bedroom set a few months ago. So we knew we had to go back to him to buy furniture for the living room. The customer service and product knowledge from the salespeople at Raymour and Flanigan is outstanding. I highly recommend John and Raymour & Flanigan!
We recently bought a mattress from Raymour and Flanagan. Service at the store was decent. We were told that the mattress would be delivered between 3 and 5. At 10:00, there was still no mattress and no phone call. We were not given a contact number and had no one to contact since the store was closed. Finally, at 11:00 at night, the truck arrived. However, they were unable to move the mattress because it was frozen and too stiff to bend in order to fit around corners. We were told that night by the delivery manager, Gerald, that they would be back at 12 pm the next day to complete the delivery. However, the next day, Gerald changed this to a 3 hour window instead of the specific time offered the night before. After having waited 8 hours the night before, this was very frustrating.We do not fault the delivery staff. However, we were very disappointed in the incredibly late delivery, the managements unsympathetic response to our situation, and the lack of communication when the delivery was so late. A late night delivery, on top of a delay of 8 hours, is unacceptable. When we called our local store to complain and resolve the issue, we spoke to a manager, named Robert, who was not empathetic or helpful. He only offered us another number to call. This is something a manager should assist with, especially considering that it was a large purchase.Get it together, Raymour and Flanagan. We are purchasing a new house and will need furniture, but we will be shopping elsewhere.
Very nice to deal with on the phone bought our reclining loveseat. Found one in price range online they are able to ship within a week. Had bad service from another furniture store I paid in full thought it was gonna be delivered in December they told me on phone Feb 2021 as it has to be made. Why would I pay for something that doesnt even exist. Thank you Raymour & Flanigan for your service and honesty!!
I purchased an adjustable bed and mattress after two visits with Nicole at your Dewitt store. She was extremely informative, knowledgeable, patient, professional and helpful. The experience could not have been more positive! I appreciated the staff greeting and immediate referral to Nicole who has expertise in this area. She was totally customer-focused and committed to staying within my budget, offering suggestions regarding the available mattress covers and warranty protection on the adjustable bed/remote. Initially I was not looking forward to this buying experience...thanks to Nicole, it turned out to be a valuable learning experience and most enjoyable.
I had already selected the mattress I wanted on line. Raymour and Flanigan carried it so I was able to call the store and order it over the phone. Everyone was very nice and helpful, paid for it over the phone and it was delivered the next day. Excellent service. Thank you!
Raymour Flanigan Syracuse-DeWitt has been extremely disappointing. There service AFTER having bought literally over $7,300 in Furniture has been horrible. Rob there Showroom Manager did an ok job; he worked quickly, answered the questions we had. Only issue I take with him is he was not easily able to get a hold of when we had an issue with our order being delivered. But this is not excluded to him. When our order for our Bed set arrived we were missing the Head and Foot Board, Rails, and the brackets to put up the Mirror on the matching dresser. Our order actually came sooner then we anticipated so we were happy about that and so I was not angry when the other stuff was missing I simply knew I just needed to call them and let them know hey some stuff was missing so they could then fix that problem. *This is also what our delivery driver told us to do as well*.When I called and asked for a manager I was rudely told What manager? I responded I have an issue with an order so what Manager should a I ask for? The person again rudely said hold on Ill find someone. As if I was bothering them. Talked to the Sales Manager and he at first acted like he was concerned then acted like I was also bothering him. He said he would look into it and get back to me. He never called me back. I called the store back 5 days later. I was given the same run around when I called back and they said they dont know who I should talk to. They then put me on the phone with a guy named Jason. I asked is there a Store Manager or General Manager I can talk to. I was told no. I said so theres Noone who is responsible for the store or accountable for all of you. I was told no. Frustrated at that point I told them ok. Someone needs to figure out why I didnt get the items that came with my order, what if anything is being done about it and why I havent gotten a call back when I have already called. If this is gonna continue to be horrible I am returning my whole order. Jason then rudely told me Well first of all we dont do refunds. I said oh your taking this stuff back. Im not paying for something that I cant even use and isnt every thing I paid for. He finally gave in and started acting more polite he said hed find out what happened and would get back. He didnt even say bye when we hung up and Noone including Jason in this whole ordeal ever said Im sorry this happened, or sorry about your order being messed up, or I apologize for this inconvenience let me help you. Noone. My advice is to not buy your furniture from this particular store. More then 3 rude people who work there. Unwilling to help. Impatient. Managers I dealt with act incompetent and lazy. Horrible experience. They need to be held accountable. But seeing how they dont have a General Manager one can understand why they act the way they do.
I have such a delightful experience with R&F on Erie Blvd. I went there with my sister, I was offered bottled water multiple times while hopping sofa to sofa to find the perfect one. Suli, who greeted me immediately when I walked in, was so pleasant to talk to and he had so much patience with my sister and I as we shopped. He didn’t leave our side unless asked and always stayed close by for when we were done discussing. He was wonderful. I was told 2-3 days delivery on my sofa on a Sunday and received my sofa on Tuesday. Such quick turn around. Overall, I am very pleased with my experience here and would consider this very same store if I need other furniture. 10/10 recommend shopping here for your furniture needs!Update: I said Erie Ave., I meant Blvd.
Just purchased a sofa, chair and ottoman. My wife and I could not be happier. We had the pleasure of working with Home Furnishing & Sleep Consultant, Nancy Cacchione. Nancy was exceptional. She helped us find our furniture, renewed our account, confirmed our credit, paperwork and all complete in 30 min or less. We could not ask for better service. Looking forward to delivery.
JZ made buying furniture fun and easy! He was super helpful in picking out a couch our whole family would love, even our puppy. Fast delivery, our furniture was delivered in under a week. We will be going back to this location and asking for JZ any time we need furniture.
My wife and I have purchased furniture from Raymour and Flannigan in the pastAnd had a great experience. All staff members were friendly and courteous . They were knowledgeable about all the pieces we were interested in. So when it came time for a new mattress we headed straight over to the Erie Blvd store. When we arrived on a a Friday evening, we were greeted, and a salesman took us to the bedding area. Dan wasn’t very knowledgeable in regards to the products and the differences between them. We settled on one, with no help from our salesperson, and went to the cashier. This time our experience felt cold and very impersonal. Completely different from previous visits. As a customer we didnt feel appreciated. We are loyal customers, unfortunately we may rethink our loyalty. Very unfortunate.
I wanted 2 extra dining room chairs . I went to the Raymour & Flanigan website chat. All my questions were answered quickly and the deal was sealed. I will be getting my chairs on Tuesday. The entire process was quick and easy. I am very happy with the outcome of my chat with Raymour & Flanigan representative.
My daughter and I were in search of a new mattress for her room and found Melissa to be very nice, low-key, and helpful. She asked questions and helped us to narrow down the choices for comfort, then showed us a variety of options in several price points until we found a mattress my daughter really liked. Needed a new mattress and soon. We knew what we wanted and had an excellent sales person who respected our request and got it taken care of quickly. My husband said later he was afraid the sales team would try to talk us into a higher priced model. They didnt do that. Great job Raymour and Flanigan!
The overall experience was great! I was helped out by Nancy who was a joy to work with and was very helpful in the entire process. She was transparent on sales, prices and other additional information regarding the furniture. I would highly recommend this store to others.
I went to the store looking for a price to add a piece to our sectional sofa because you cant get individual prices online. It was more money than we were looking to spend, and the prices are apparently non-negotiable. After politely telling the associate that we would think about it, he insisted on putting an order in their system. He said it was just so that we would know when the piece would be back in stock. Now Im getting emails telling me that they are working on my order and that my total due is $450!I never said that I wanted it!R&F,Stop with you pushy sales people and train them to listen to what the customer is saying. I have bought cars from less obnoxious sales people. Re-think your prices vs the quality of your product. I already have other peices of this sectional and am less than impressed with the quality for money.
My experience at the store was just ok. Delivery delays etc. However, my experience with sales associate, Nicole was phenomenal!!!! She went out of her way to track down our furniture and did everything she could to expedite delivery. She even waived the delivery fee to make up for delay. She was always friendly and highly responsive throughout the process.
Our sales person, Nicole was very personable and informative. She was not pushy and throughly new the products she was selling. Loved that she was patient and understanding. A huge thank you to her and for the education on furniture. Hope to do business with her again the future. :)
We had the most pleasurable experience with Carlos Rosario and his knowledge of mattresses. We absolutely hate shopping for mattresses seems we never find the right one. Carlos had us at ease right from the beginning. We purchased the mattress without going anywhere else because of his knowledge and friendliness. If you need a mattress go and see Carlos.
Purchased a dinning set and bedroom set from R&F Dewitt in early September. The dinning set was delivered with a chair missing, when I called R&F, I was told the chair was on back order. Something they didn’t mention during the time of purchase. I was told on two separate occasions that the chair was in and ready to be picked up only to arrive at the store for them to tell me the chair never made it over from the warehouse. Also, I was told by the salesman, the bedroom set would arrive around the third week of October. As of November 13th, still no updates on when they will be delivered. And finally, after spending over $3k in the store, I had realized I should have qualified for 18 months zero interest financing, something the salesman neglected to mention. When I called customer service I was told the contract was already signed and it was too late. I strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere.
I had a wonderful experience at the Dewitt Raymour & Flanigan store . I went in to browse as a first time buyer of a new sectional . CJ was my salesperson , who was very inviting and gave me free space to browse about. He would check in with me periodically to answer any and all of my questions . I felt no pressure at all to buy. Even when I locked in my Veterans Day percentage off discount with a deposit on a potential sectional I liked , he eased my worry that it was just a hold and could be refunded with no expectation to purchase ! I asked for CJ’s schedule as I would return with my husband to ensure it was the sectional for us . We returned 2 days later and CJ was available to give us again , great customer service right to the final purchasing details ! I’m very happy with the stores professionalism and team work ! Feeling optimistic that all will go well with our future delivery and satisfaction of our new furniture ! Thank you !
I have bought furniture from Raymour several times since moving to Syracuse, and have never had anything but a great consumer experience. Until I bought a sectional here a few months ago. It’s been an absolute nightmare to deal with this company ever since. We purchased the sectional in November and thank god we elected to purchase the protection plan. Over the course of 5 months, service technicians have had to come to our house no less than 10 times to fix issues with this shoddy couch and it’s improper installation. 2 of the 3 sections have now had to be replaced because seats have collapsed while people were sitting in them, no one that was extremely overweight, including once while I was holding my 10 month old. The quality issues were pretty evident early on, and when I brought these concerns to my salesman and his manager, I was told to utilize the protection plan to get a replacement or refund. No such luck. Apparently after they replace this latest collapsed section, were on our own. My hardwood floors and walls have also been damaged by the instability and wobbliness of the couch. I very much dislike resorting to reviews to express my discontent with a company, but it seems that I’ve exhausted all options here. I don’t want anyone else to have this experience. The sad thing is, at the very beginning I offered them an opportunity to make it right; simply refund the couch and I’d gladly by a different model from them. They would have kept a customer and made a friend. Their lack of customer service has produced the opposite result. I strongly suggest people not shop here.

I also would like to say that the protection plan is absolutely worth it! Bought it for both sets and used it for both (accidents happen) and it was worth every cent.
Went there to get a bed frame for my daughter. It didnt take long to find exactly what she was looking for and the price was cheaper than a similar model found online. The rep was able to apply the Presidents day sale price since it was only 2 days away. Assembly is included in the delivery fee so Im very happy about that. That was also a big reason why I didnt just go to an online retailer for delivery because I dont want to have to do the assembly. I work 2 jobs from home and I just dont want to spend my free time assembling a bed...lol. Delivery will take a little longer because of COVID-19 but thats just to be expected during these trying times. Looking at all the nice new furniture in their large showroom put a smile on my face!
Raymour & Flanigan did a great job handling my delivery out of state. I received both beds in the time frame stated. I bought the BeautyRest Black X class, medium hybrid with the adjustable frame and I absolutely love it. I would definitely recommend for any neck or back issues. My mom got the BeautyRest Silver extra firm and she loves hers also! Thank you Daniel for all your help😊
Store appearance and cleanliness is remarkable. Overpriced medium to high quality furniture with enough variety to please every style. Friendly sales staff will be eager to help you, but make NO mistake, they are not your friends, theyre just there to make the sale and get paid for it. Visited store multiple times until I decided what I wanted. After asking almost any possible detail I could think off I was asked to digitally sign in sort of a pushy way several screens on a handheld store tablet device. After my credit was pulled for the financing and the sale was closed, I was told by the sales rep the furniture set I purchased was not available due to a delay or lack of availability in the warehouse, I would have to wait three weeks approximately. Had I known Id have purchase a different set, but the sales rep knew all along... and failed to mention it, at his convenience. Instead of just a regular finance for the price amount, several days later I receive a letter in the mail with a credit card from R&F with a tremendously high credit limit. Again was never told Id be applying for a store credit card, sales rep failed again at his convenience. Resuming, several days later no furniture set and a store credit card with a credit limit that I dont need or want. Just to think sales rep hid that from me all along just to make a sale its very disappointing and speaks a lot about R&F. No, I do not recommend this place to anyone that is looking to know EXACTLY what theyre getting into when purchasing, so please advise friends and family so no one has to experience this, as its not fair. Extremely professional, not at all pushy.Day of our delivery, the team was on time, quick, efficient and polite. Roger worked with me, showing me different options. I am so happy with my purchase and want to thank Roger for really listening to me and making it a pleasant experience.
I went to all the furniture stores in town over two weekends. I found Raymour & Flanigans to be the brightest, cleanest, and most inviting. Furniture was arranged in very comfortable clusters that did not feel crowded. Saleslady was friendly, fast and efficient and was not pushy. Prices and selection excellent.
While the furniture is great and extremely affordable, I had a poor customer experience. After spending at least 30 minutes looking around, I personally had to flag down a sales associate to assist me with my purchase. The sales associate was extremely rude to me and made the buying experience extremely poor. For example, he made fun of me because I looked lost in the store. In hindsight, I should not have purchased the couch from him. Customer experience aside, I purchased a great couch at a great price. However, once I got my couch delivered, the physical delivery was terrible! While the delivery people were kind, they dropped the couch a couple times and scratched the couch in three places. Needless to say, I will never shop here again and will not recommend it to my friends and family.
Our sales representative John Zych went above and beyond in helping us select a mattress for our home. He took us through all the choices available and let us take much time as we needed to make the right choice. In addition he helped set up financing for our purchase and set up next day delivery for our new bedding... everything was about as easy as something could be!
Ive purchased most of the furniture for my home via Raymour & Flanigan, and have been quite satisfied.Recently (February 2020), my partner and I purchased a new sectional, and our experience was similar. We worked with their sales associate Suli, who was professional (and fun), knowledgeable (and able to get answers if he didnt know them), and kind (helping us to save some money by giving us some spot savings on one of the sectional pieces, which in turn decreased our delivery fee, and similarly decreased the price of the platinum protection plan that we opted for, which was already reasonably priced).Delivery went smoothly, as well. The two-man team called ahead and was actually able to show up earlier than the three hour window provided, and they quickly brought-in/assembled the couch without issue.Before Raymour & Flanigan, we had looked at a few other places in the area, but decided on purchasing here because it had a great showroom/selection/price-ranges, and friendly/helpful service. If we need more furniture in the future, Im sure well go back again, :).
Horrible Experience, Very Very Bad Customer Service. I’ve done plenty of business there, I regret ever giving them a dollar of my money, I got treated horrible and was talked down on from the manager rob in there. It was one of the worst experiences I may have been through doing business. I felt violated and threatened by him. He felt he can do and say what he wanted as he pleased. He also talked to his employees under him with disrespect and did not here them out. I will tell all my family and friends about this and make sure nobody comes back there. Rob is a very bad business man. Heads up to anyone before they go there. Trust me. Save your time and money. Very very very bad ! ROB IS A NO GO! I’ve also heard about another customer having the same issues as I was leaving. Rob you need to get out of there and respect others , you are a bad man.
I had a great experience! After shopping at another furniture store and not being impressed with their pricing or delivery times, I came to this Erie Blvd location. I worked with John Zych (JZ) to find my son a loft bed. He was super helpful, not overbearing like many salespeople, and got me a price I was very happy with. The bedroom set was delivered yesterday and I am equally satisfied with the men who delivered and set up the furniture. Everyone in the whole process was courteous, furniture is good quality and much cheaper than other local stores. We plan on redoing our living room later this year and will definitely be back to work with JZ!

Bought a mattress and was told it was good for delivery the next day, then when I paid the said it would take two days. Also said free delivery but when I paid they said because it was under $500 no free delivery. I didn’t see anywhere on the website nor did the associate tell me that you had to spend $500 for free delivery!?!?!? Not a good experience. Really just wanted free delivery.
The worst customer service!Jason, one of the show room managers rudely said, “it’s your fault” when THEY messed up the paperwork requiring their people to pick up furniture. He expected us to call and sort out the mess he made from his laziness to do his work. DISGUSTING display of customer service relations. I’d recommend firing him.
Very enjoyable experience with Christine on Sunday selecting furniture for our new home. She was patient and open to my kind of quirky style. We walked the store several times for all the pieces we needed. I thing we will be very happy with our selections. We spent quite a lot of money and I was very angry we were expected to pay for delivery. Thank goodness she was able to save us $$$ in other places to make up for that ridiculous charge.
This is by far the worst furniture purchase experience I had in my life. I have been looking to get my first apartment so I started my layaway in February so I would already have my process started with getting furniture when I get my apartment. I found an apartment so paid off my layaway June 22nd and was told on online chat delivery would be 3-10 business days depending on the area code. I set my delivery for July 11th for me to receive my bedroom set. The day before I received my set they called and told me they only have my bed available. I was sad because I wanted everything but just said ok because they said I should receive my other stuff by the end of July. The day when my bed was being delivered they gave me a delivery time and the hours was between 8 and 2. The hours had past and I was past my delivery time window and they was barley giving me any information on what was going on. I called the store in tears because of how of was being treated on the customer service line when I called about my delivery. Every time I called to ask about the man I spoke to was very nonchalant about my situation and his tone was terrible. I work in customer service myself for retirement plans so I understand customer service very well. All I was being told was the truck was broke down for hours and nothing more. I received my bed hours later after the delivery window. After July past I went online check to see when my other items was coming In, they said they have everything except the dresser which the estimated time to receive that is August 5. I was told August 5th twice. I called the store and the date changed to August 7th. Today is August 10th and now the date has changed to August 14th. So I’m basically still waiting for my dressing to make it to there warehouses to get a delivery. Through this entire experience no one has been contacting me I have been doing all the contacting. I called the store today and spoke to the manager and he stated there is nothing he can do about it and then told me that Ashley’s back orders is worst then theirs the crazy thing is. I have order a few things from Ashley’s and their estimated times are right if not a day or two off not weeks. I have really learned my lesson from purchasing from Raymour. I paid $2,000 for the service I am receiving.
Nancy was a great and knowledgeable salesperson. She made us feel at home and did not feel like she was under foot like other stores. The delivery men were kind fast and neat. I will definitely be bringing my business back and tell all family and friends to use Raymour & Flanagans.
I absolutely love raymour & Flannigan furniture. The customer service is excellent. U dont feel pressured to purchase. They are all so friendly and very professional. I cant wait for my furniture to arrive. The only negative thing I can say is waiting for my furniture to come back in stock. I guess Im not the only one that love raymour furniture. Ordered a mattress July 21 to be delivered in Baltimore on August 12. I confirmed delivery three times for the 12th as we were moving from NY to Baltimore. Spoke to Raymours twice on delivery day. Once to confirm time frame and again close to the end of the time frame they gave me to make sure all was set. They told me not to worry. They went to DC for a delivery and then were heading back but they would definitely be there, possibly just a little late. I got a call two hours later from Lauren saying sorry they ran out of time but they could reschedule delivery for a week from today! Lauren offered no apology and simply stated that was the best they could do. She then proceeded to say “since you’re in the area now why don’t I cancel your order and you can go find a mattress locally! I asked for her manager call me and she said she would when she had time. I called the Dewitt store for help because I purchased it there. Spoke with Bryce. He took down the info and said his manager was on the phone and she’d call me when she was off. I waited three hours and finally went to a local store, as Lauren suggested. Never received a call from anyone. I paid $200 more and had to rent a uhaul to get it to my apartment. This is hands down the worse, most unprofessional service experience I’ve ever had. They just don’t care.
Had the most amazing experience shopping for a new mattress and bedroom set. Taz, was extremely knowledgeable and when I told her what I was looking for she directed me to what would suit me the best. There was no wandering around looking and trying things that were not suited for me. She made great suggestions so I could narrow down to what I ultimately love in my room! It was a very laid back, no pressure on me shopping experience. I was able to take my time, and not feel rushed to make any sort of decisions, although I knew I was going to purchase something before I left. The only problem was I didnt get enough furniture lol... so Im going back to get another dresser and chest of drawers. And in a few weeks when my son and I go shopping for a living room set... Im sure to ask for Taz again! She is the best! Thank you so much!!!
My wife and I stopped in looking for an outdoor couch. Melissa warmly greeted us at the door. She showed us their offerings. The one that we liked (Bellanest Southport) was only available as a floor model. Melissa offered us a nice discount which allowed us to add the recliner and cocktail table! Danielle in customer service and their store assistant were also very friendly and helpful.
Best experience I’ve ever had buying furniture! My husband and I went in looking for a new mattress and were lucky enough to be helped by Jake Holohan! He was extremely knowledgeable and really took the time to find us the perfect bedding system for our needs. It honestly felt like we were being helped by a friend not a sales associate. Our sales rep (CJ Roche) was repeatedly told that my wifes employer gets a discount at this store but it was never applied. At first he quoted me a price that was $80 more that what was advertised on the internet. Is he incompetent or a outright liar? I wont buy from you again, ever.
We appreciated the attention and time given to use by our sales representative Patrick. It was just the right amount of attention to answer our questions and provide information without feeling suffocated by a sales person. The next day delivery went off as promised with professionalism and great communication regarding delivery time.

Our experience in buying furniture for our den/library, at Raymour and Flanigan, went very smoothly. Our salesman, Mr. Charles Hunter was helpful in assisting us with finding something that would fit in our narrow/long room. He had the patience of a Saint, and was so knowledgeable in the product and services that the store had to offer. I would highly recommend Mr. Hunter and his manager to anyone. Sales person was helpful in answering our questions, but super pushy on their financing. We found a piece we liked, but was slightly over budget. I grabbed his name and the model number and said we would come back in a couple months when we saved up the difference. We never take out loans for furniture and prefer to pay in full.We made it clear, over and over, and told him we would make sure he got full credit for the sale when we came back. He kept pushing and trying to show us lower end/non related pieces that werent at all what we wanted. Apparently closing a sale is more important than customer service.This went on for several minutes and we ended up walking out, and R&F just lost a $2,300 sale. This is why people shop online...
We were vary impressed with the salesman who helped is. He answered all questions we had, listened to all concerns and helped us get the warranties we needed per our concerns of not liking the bed. When the bed we purchased was delivered the delivery guys set everything up properly and made sure everything was picked up before they left. We went two weeks sleeping on the beds we had purchased and realized we just didn’t like having split bases/ mattresses. We called to see if we could return them and get a regular box spring and mattress and they now tell us that the warranties we purchased did not cover the base but only to switch out the mattresses. But we also have to pay the $100 delivery fee and whatever mattress we wanted to switch it out for has to be equal to the price of the two mattresses or more in value. They do not tell you that you can’t return the base or mattresses When you go to purchase them so be advised. Make sure it’s something you really want before purchasing. The manager I talked to was vary rude when I was trying to understand what he was saying, he said “let me make this vary clear to you, you can NOT return the bases. I will never purchase another item from Raymore and Flanigan.
Edited on 7/1/19- We did follow up with the email provided and what a per disappointment to be sent an email saying that the Dewitt store would be contracting us regarding this and they never did. Sadly we were going to buy another sofa table but forget it now- poor business all around RF! We have done business with you guys for years. If you look at our account n see the zero balance already you can see we were a good customer! Changing the stars to 1 because Dewitt management just does not know how to treat their customers!We love our furniture, but disappointed on how another salesman was quick to want our sale when we forgot our salesman’s name & business card.At first the store manager decided he should help us, not the new guy. The manager was great and we felt like we were going to get the best price possible and the first salesman we worked with would benefit even though not there. Unfortunately somewhere a long the way the manager thought it would be a good idea to give us back to the new guy. He was terrible to the point we almost didn’t buy the furniture. Typical car salesman selling furniture. They said they gave us best price possible but I pulled out the numbers the first guy had given us and it was difference of $100. When spending what we did, $100 is big deal. The manager said he would take care of it, call his boss to make it happen. We said ok. They never took the $100 off n think we didn’t notice!We love Raymour & Flanigan and everything we have bought from there in the last 20 years & that is why we gave the 3 stars. We will just go to a different location the next time purchasing anything from R&F.
We took two trips to the Raymour & Flannigan in Erie Boulevard. The first trip it was my husband and I. I had looked up two sofas and contacted the online customer service to make sure they were at that location. We walked in and were greeted by salesman with a piss poor attitude that acted like we were an inconvenience asking if he could show us where those two sofas were and anything similar he thought they had to them. We stopped in on Veterans Day and I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt that they probably had just been busy that day since people had off work. He continued to give us attitude and answered all of our questions just Yes/No without any professional insight.I ended up going back a few days later to look at a couch again we had seen on the initial visit. I was greeted this time by a woman named Nicole Hebert who was very helpful and answered any and all questions I asked. I purchased the furniture I went back in to see and we scheduled the delivery. She had let me know they would call me the day of with a window.Fast forward to the day of delivery I reached out to their customer service line because I still had not received a call. The woman that answered the service line said that our furniture had been taken off the truck. Due to our work schedules and them not delivering past 5 PM we had to reschedule for a full week out. We confirmed everything would be delivered on Sunday, they would call me the day before to confirm delivery etc. I called yesterday just to see if at all possible to have it delivered sooner since I learned a family member could be there. The girl that answered the service line this time let me know somehow the furniture had been schedule for two different delivery dates. How that happens I do not know.We just purchased a home and had planned on going to get the remaining furniture we needed from Raymour & Flannigan and after the bad attitudes and lack of professionalism from multiple associates we will be going elsewhere.
I purchased furniture from sales person Nancy Cacchione who was very helpful, and Knowledgeable . I also purchased a matteress and the sale was very easy Raymor & Flanigan had many brands to choose from and Nancy was again very helpful. I would definitely go back and work with Nancy again.
The salesman, John Zych was helpful and patient. The delivery was flawless. That two delivery mencalled in the morning to provide an estimated delivery time, then again when they were about 25 minutes out. They arrived when they said they would, installed the mattress, base spring and bed frame and removed the old mattress set and all the plastic wrapping materials. And the Sunday delivery meant no work/delivery conflicts for me!
We were pleasantly surprised at how relaxed yet attentive our salesman Noah was. He was readily available to answer questions but provided enough space that we felt the freedom to roam and talk about our choices. The selection was excellent and we were able to find what we were looking for in one trip. Great store, excellent service.
I was extremely pleased with my visit to Raymour and Flanigan. I called ahead and was assured they had what I was looking for. I arrived shortly thereafter and found a good selection of the classic rocker recliners I wanted. The salesman was knowledgeable and very helpful and I was able to make a purchase within my budget very quickly.
Bad Customer Service, Sales person was pushy, manager was very rude and walked around with that big ego energy, very horrible, i was shocked by the service received, I was also told by family and friends that they experienced the same after hearing about me, never again will i enter a raymour! I will make sure corporate hears about this to, all of my Getman family will now stay away!
Be aware of sales associate Carlos. I left the store with an agreement both verbal and in writing that I would be using my raymour store card to pay for my furniture. Within an hour of leaving the store, Carlos called asking me to reach out to the bank as my account has not been used in 2 years (the date of my last furniture purchase) so it was “blocked.” I attempted to call the customer service number he gave me but the office was closed as it was a Saturday morning. Carlos gave me an alternate number to call, which also was unsuccessful as the customer service department was closed for the weekend. I told Carlos I would call first thing Monday morning to get the issue straightened out, which Carlos agreed to. Sunday morning I received an email from him saying “We have resolved your issue with financing.” I find out 2 weeks later when I received mail from a bank congratulating me on my new account. Without my knowledge or approval Carlos “waterfalled my credit” to various banks in order to get the sale complete. He was so eager to get a sale he used my information without my knowledge or approval - committing credit fraud. The manager listened to my concerns and said “he would talk with him” without providing any resolution. Be aware as the sales associates are only concerned with getting the sale/commission at any expense.
Furniture stores are all the same. Endless rows of couches, chairs, beds and so on. What set this visit a part from others was the Sales Rep. Charles. Wonderful young mean with perfect amount of assistance and coaching. I am not a huge fan of online shopping as I need to see, feel and touch what Im buying. In this case selection was a plenty but Charles is what made my mind up to buy.
We were satisfied with the product we purchased. However, when we arrived at the store and explained what we were looking for, we were told that you do not have any in the store and you do not sell them!!!It took about 4 people to figure out that you do have them and also after we told the sales manager that your other store does carry the item we were interested in.

2022-03-13Our salesman, Carlos Rosario, was very patient and kind. He explained all options without pressuring us (I dont do well with pushy salespeople). He took the extra time to show my wife and I different designs for comparison purposes since the models we wanted werent on the sales floor right then, and treated us like people not just a potential sale.The other store workers we encountered were all pleasant and we both were made to feel welcome there. Maybe it also helps that we went to look without a chip on our shoulders like so many shoppers seem to have...Thank you Carlos and team for a great experience.

She knew specific details on the company, different types of mattresses, and sofa brands while remaining friendly and warm. Cody M was organized and informative when checking us out. He did not spare any detail on pricing and was very nice. Great experience as a whole!

2022-07-09I have purchased many pieces at my local store over the years. Purchase and delivery always a simple straightforward process. Recently I ordered a piece and upon delivery found I had misunderstood information on the color of the stain. The delivery folks were already gone when I had taken a good look. I went directly into the store. A salesperson listened to my situation and immediately found the store manager for me. The manager could not have been nicer. He listened patiently. In no time at all he ordered the color I wanted, and a new pickup/delivery was scheduled the next week. This is an amazing business... personal, customer focused, great order and delivery technology and tools as well. I recommend them!

2022-07-11I haven’t received my orders yet (just placed them). Two sets of living room furniture and a bedroom set. I had a great experience thanks to Nancy! I went in there to immediately be greeted and she took the time to listen to what I wanted as we swapped Pinterest ideas and styles. Definitely will be back for the other half of the houses furniture.

2022-03-10These guys are the best. i used to work for their direct competition, then for them, and I saw firsthand how far they go out of their way to make sure everything is just perfect. i had a warranty issue with the other company i worked for (American Signature) WHILE i was working there, and they wouldnt stand behind the warranty i paid for. when i worked for Raymour and Flanigan, i couldnt believe how they stood behind everything-- in fact, i was asked to rate them in an email link because i was in the store getting a full replacement on a 6 year old mattress. the customer service here just honestly cant be beat

2022-03-05They were polite and only about 1&1/2 hours past when the first text with delivery time stated . This is all understandable but leaving behind a mattress that they were suppose to take because of a stain is not. We were told they would take all the old away and put boot coverings on so we didn’t go to our parents place (who are 80 & 81 years old) to make sure they did what they were suppose to. Now we have to pay an extra $20.00 for removal of a mattresss and clean up after them

2022-03-09The mattress is nice, the delivery guys were great. BUT- NO ONE mentioned at time of purchase that the old mattress will not be taken away if ripped or stained. All the sales person said was that it could not be wet! The delivery guys said the sales people frequently leave that detail out, and cannot take most mattresses. I feel like that is very important inforamtion to VERBALLY impart to the customer at time of the sale. Not just in the paperwork they sign. Kind of shady.

2022-05-19My favorite furniture store. Great quality furniture. Professional delivery and set up. Love their showroom and the ability to try out, touch, feel, sit, lay down etc, products before buying. Difficult to buy furniture and mattresses online. Nothing like seeing stuff in person and checking out the comfort up close and personal!
