We purchased a mattress and we were not happy with the comfort however we were able to select something else, the manager helped us though the process and did a great job. If you get a mattress there make sure you add the comfort Guarantee when you buy the mattress. You need to purchase a mattress cover from them to get this benefit. Make sure you ask about it. I’m glad that the process was easy and can’t wait for new mattress. Thanks
Always clean, associates are respectful and friendly not pushy and clock watching.Prices are a tad high due to their products being , for the most part, quality and name brand. Not the go home , dump the cardboard box out to find a small Allen wrench thats gonna haunt you for the next several hours, all to save a few bucks ... Which I get it, every penny counts. But Ive learned that theres somethings worth the extra cash and this is it. I feel bad for the sales Associates since they work mostly for commission and it just doesnt seem like theres a steady flow of ppl ready to drop 3k and up so easily.. But if you do happen to need furniture and find yourself at Raymour & Flanigans, make sure you ask for sales associate Kristine...Very knowledgeable, been there going on 20yrs I believe she said and again shes not pushy, which is a big pet pieve in my book.👍💯
The salesman, Joseph Leonard was very knowledgeable, kind and considerate. He addressed all of my concerns and needs. He answered every question, was not pushy at all. I asked to have time on my own to look around after he showed us some items. He said sure, just take a picture, if I liked it, so we could find it and he could tell me about the item. He made my visit a pleasure. I have shopped at Raymour and Flanigan before and I have always had excellent service. Their furniture is stylish and of good quality as well. I highly recommend this store.
We purchased living and dining room furniture and were assisted by one of the most pleasant sales person I ever met!Liz was not pushy type of sales person but she was near by when we had questions.She helped us with every aspect of our furniture shopping(I truly hate furniture shopping)and made it actually pleasant. Prices were decent and we got our furniture delivered very next week.We highly recommend Raymour and Flanigan and especially Liz,she is the best1😊

My brother & mother suggested I shop here for quality type of furniture. I was very pleased with the assistance we received. The representative are very thorough on taking you on a tour of the entire store. Between the knowledge of the furniture & quality of it I was very impressed.Mary T. helped us & she was very nice to work with & made you feel at ease.Im quite happy on my pieces I had chosen.
Overall not a bad experience. my salesman was friendly and knowledgeable about Simmons mattresses in general. I wanted one from a relatively new line, Harmony Lux. I didnt feel I received any special deal especially since it was Memorial Day which is supposed to be a hot sale day. I did get some $ off an adjustable base because they didnt have the free base in stock for my size bed. The delivery and set up went great and I like the base and mattress.
This is the 3rd set of living room furniture I have purchased from Raymour & Flanigan in 28 years. The furniture is very well made. Liz was wonderful running around with us carrying pillows and cushions. She is a super pleasant salesperson which was huge asset. I highly recommend going here and asking for Liz’s help.
I was greeted by a friendly hello and a smile which made me feel very relaxed. After her introduction of herself, she made it very clear that my opinion of my purchase was her main concern. Being unable to physically lay on the mattress she made every attempt to reassure me that it was top quality and had the firmness required for my comfort.During the sale she also sold me an adjustable frame which I am certain will be a great advantage with my sleeping position.
I had the pleasure of Joe Leonard as my Salesman; he was very professional and and showed a perfect upbeat personality as I drove him crazy looking all over to finally purchasing my furniture! He also was able to answer all of my questions; very knowledgeable and really made it a comfortable visit where there was no pushing sales on me whatsoever; this guy is top notch and I will always make it a point to only deal with him as well as referring him my friends and family ! We remodeled our kitchen this summer and purchased a new kitchen set with matching counter top chairs. We purchased the platinum protection plan incase something broke. After three phone calls and the same story each time I have not had our chair fixed or replaced. This is horrible customer service and it will keep me from ever going back. You lost me as a customer. This chair should have been fixed a long time ago or exchanged for a new one.
I received outstanding service from start to finish! I was unable to go to the store to select a mattress but Joe Leonard guided me to the right choice that fit my needs. I also liked the texts telling me they were in their way and where the truck currently was. I applaud receiving my mattress in less than 24 hours! I have to say that I always wanted to shop at Flanigans but didnt think there was anything in the store that I could afford. The lady ( Lourdes) that helped us was very courteous and showed us all the options of bedding. We made our choice and completed purchase. Great experience. Definitely will be back again.
Luis Vazquez is the BESTTT customer service rep i have ever dealt with!this man went above and beyond for me throughout the whole experience. not only did he take the time to address all my concerns but he provided with with everything i wanted and more.i was at work all day and in the process of moving . i couldnt talk on the phone all day and he realized that and texted me throughout the day to resolve my issues. once everything was all set i had to switch my order and he again went above and beyond for me to get me what i wanted . i didnt feel like i was speaking to a stranger at all,it felt like ive known him for years and he was a friend. im sooooooo happy with this experience i wish i could rate him a million stars. luis deserves a raise! thank you thank you thank you a million times. may god bless you and your family!THANK YOU LUIS!

We went to the store in New Hartford, NY to purchase beds. Mary assisted us and was very knowledgeable about beds and an absolute pleasure to work with. We were given many choices and she listened to our feedback. Delivery was scheduled for just a few days later. Mary knew her inventory and products. It was a completely enjoyable experience and we look forward to our next purchase.
If I could give you more than 5 stars, I would. Our sales associate at the Utica, NY store, Kevin, was absolutely amazing, professional and funny. Who knew that buying a mattress could be that much fun?? We will definitely be back to see him for our next purchase. It was refreshing that even the young woman at the registers that cashed us out was friendly and funny!We thought we had the best experience in-store with Kevin and the cashier, until the delivery drivers brought in our mattress. They were efficient, respectful of our space and super friendly.We just wanted to make sure we recognized everyone that makes your company run and makes customers want to return time and again. I recently purchased bunk beds but they havent come yet so I cant comment on the product or delivery yet but Joe was very helpful, no pressure and didnt hover over us.I would definitely go see him again. This was the second time I bought furniture from them and Im still in love with my coffee table and end tables. Definitely would recommend and Ill update when beds arrive.
The sales associate went above and beyond to make sure my order arrived before Christmas. When the chair I picked out wasnt in stock in New Hartford, she called around to other stores to find it. I know how difficult it is with supply shortages everywhere this year, but once she found out that the chair was for a disabled family member, she really went the extra mile.
I am beyond impressed with the customer service provided throughout our visit. Elizabeth Bello was wonderful: professional, and courteous. She provided us with information about our options and gave us time to think while answering every question we had. We will absolutely be returning customers.
We were shopping for a new living room set. Our first stop was Raymour & Flanigan. We went to three other places - most of which had similar offerings but the personal service of Mary T. was by far the best in terms of personal service, showing off the features of each item we tried, and understanding our needs. We will be returning to R & F to make our purchase this week.
My experience with Raymour and Flannigan has been dreadful. I purchased a $3800 sectional from them in April. Two pieces of the sectional have hard wood pieces sticking out, so if you sit on it wrong, you get hurt. I jarred my back twice now. They finally sent out a service person who said that the couch was not made properly and he could possibly re pad it. Since then I have had the service department promise me three times to come and get it to fix and here we are , almost the middle of August and I am still being jerked around.. DON T Do IT.. Go somewhere else to buy your furniture that is more local and you can actually get some answers
I always enjoy doing business with Raymour and Flanigan. I feel that their prices are comparable. The staff helpful and knowledgeable. Their furniture is available for pick up or to be delivered in a timely manner but most importantly the furniture is well built and dependable. I have literally furnished most of my home with furniture that was bought at Raymour and Flanigan. I am looking forward to relaxing in my latest purchase, a dual reclining for years to come.
Absolutely the best of the best!! We had a small problem with a couch, and these people went beyond and I mean beyond what they had to do to make it right!! My salesmen, Richard, was so great I want to go back and buy furniture from him that I don’t even need!! Just a great salesman, but a better man, and gentleman then most!! Have to say a good word about Cory who help out, and he works in the Albany store, but helped out to make things right.I will always go back to this store in Utica, and always go back to Richard. Customer service is there top priority! If you need furniture, or items to set up your house, the only furniture store that I would ever go to is Raymour & Flanagan’s. Also, there’s only one salesman that I put my trust in, and that would beRichard Hobaica. A gentleman, and all around decent guy!! It was a very good experience. Joe helped us look at mattresses, the purpose for our visit. They had what we were looking for and the price was right. Once we made the choice, we browsed for other things for some time and never felt pressured, there was no hovering. We werent pushed to make an additional purchase. That means a lot. Joe is a personable fellow and stuck with us through the checkout process to be sure our delivery was arranged. The store looked great inside. Displays were clean. The store was following safe protocols; masks were worn and personal space was respected.
Had chair for barely a year and its developed rips and cracks. I applied for warranty coverage and they told me I can replace it out of pocket. Sure Ill be happy to waste more money. No thank you. Ill take my business elsewhere in the future.The local store I had a perfectly fine experience at its the warranty coverage thats nonsense.
I went there to purchase a sofa, We thought we were being helped but we were just being tricked. I looked at several sofas And picked out a wrap-around sofa. We went to the counter and paid for in full. I was told I would receive it in a couple of weeks which sounded great. 5 weeks later have not received it yet and they dont seem to care, Told me I could get a refund if I wanted to. Thats great service for you. They lie to me about how long it would take to get my furniture. I am not happy and I will not shop there again. And I Would never refer anyone to go there
Ordered furniture from Raymour & Flanigan in September, and the delivery was finally ready a few days ago (in December) only for us to be made aware that they have no idea where our loveseat is, whether its still in the warehouse or even manufactured at all. Customer service has brought zero value to the situation. The furniture itself (that we got) is great.
I shopped at the New Hartford, NY store. I couldn’t have been happier with the selection or the service. Mary was absolutely wonderful to work - made me very comfortable and was very knowledgeable about all of the products. I trusted her and it made it very easy to go back and forth and take my time deciding what I’d like to purchase. I anticipate spending a lot more time at Raymour and Flanigan as I furnish a brand new home from top to bottom - I’ll be looking for Mary from here on out. Thank you again!!!
Because of the current situation I had to order what I wanted by phone. It was a good thing that I had a great sales person (Mary)when I went in a few weeks ago who helped me. She was very helpful and knowledgeable. She answered all my questions, gave advice and also provided me with brochures to take home. With that information, I was able to call the store and order by phone because it was likely they would be closing due to the virus regulations. I ordered my items and locked in my pricing. Now hopefully, when I am ready, I can get them delivered. Thank you to everyone who was helpful in the New Hartford store.
Purchased a couch online. It was in stock. Scheduled a delivery. Picked a day. No problem with them taking my money... 3 days later an email stating the couch was now out of stock with a arrival date a month away.. And that they would get back to me to schedule a delivery day... Almost a bait and switch. I dont think it was ever in stock and they didnt want to lose the business. I went to the local store and was told no one was there with the ability to cancel the order and I would be called the next day. I contacted customer service and asked for a refund.. They had the gall to ask if I would like to speak with someone about choosing something else! That is bait and switch..
1. Late delivery with no call2. missing rails to the bedroom set, no loaner frame as promised due to the rails missing (rails won’t be in until end of september)3. Wobbly dining room chairs in which the delivery men said they could not adjust. The chairs also had chunks out of the wood on the legs (new chairs won’t be in until the mid-end of September)4. Very uncomfortable beautyrest Xclass ultra plush hybrid mattress which they convinced us to buy. Then when it was hurting our backs the first two nights they told us we had to sleep on it for 30 days regardless until I called corporate complaining. They allowed us to exchange it the first week for a more expensive mattress- Aireloom. The other mattresses in store were all horrific. Do not buy a mattress from a furniture store!!5. Rude delivery men from their “contractors”. The guys made comments such as “let’s go, we have 10 more deliveries to make after this” & was on the phone with someone stating, “these guys are just gonna play around with these chairs all night” (the wobbly chairs they tried to blame on our brand new level flooring)*will not be purchasing from Raymour & Flanigan ever again, nor will my friends or family after the terrible service!*
Been working with Randy White for 15 years at the commercial drive location. Hes one of the friendliest sales associates Ive ever dealt with in any retail business. Hes extremely knowledgeable about the products offered, has never been pushy, and is amazingly personable. At any time I can call him with a question and he does whatever it takes to get the answer. Additionally, he always checks on my sons who he has met over the years with genuine interest in how they are doing. I have always been happy with the merchandise at Raymour & Flanigan, working with Randy has made the furniture shopping experience truly enjoyable. He is a great asset to your team.
Randy was very friendly and helpful. He provided us with information regarding the various models and then left us alone to peruse the store at our own leisurely pace. The store has a huge showroom and I must have sat on at least two dozen sofas. We ended up with one that fit our needs and budget.
I am so frustrated with the store. I purchased a coffee table over one month ago and in that time I have left countless voicemails. I opened the box for the coffee table and saw that the corner was chipped. I immediately contacted the store to try to exchange it or just get this part replaced. After receiving no call back, I continued my attempts in reaching them. I attempted to reach out to the customer service line but you put in your zip code in and it just directs you back to the store. I had to resort to trying the customer service chat online and the texting line, which are absolutely useless and no one even answers the 4 out of 5 attempts with that. The one time someone answered in the customer service chat, it was I will send an alert to the store that you would like then to contact you but they didnt even ask for my phone number, which is hilarious. I once finally got through to an employee at this store one day who I discussed the problem with and she put me through back to the customer service line, which I asked her NOT to do, which led me right back to the black hole of their voicemail anyway. Absolutely useless employees. I am incredible frustrated, I wanted to buy the end tables to match but I refuse to waste this money. Now Im stuck with a coffee table that weve just settled on having to buy repair supplies for to fix the wood, and two old end tables that dont match because now I have to find them somewhere else.
When I came to store I was treated by the friendliest salesperson I ever met. Normally I ask the sales person to let me shop and I’ll let them know when I have a question. Joe was so pleasant I did not do that. I told him what I was looking for and he brought me to the exact piece of furniture I wanted. This is a Christmas present and he hit it out of the park. Thank you for your help Joe and anyone looking for furniture please go see Joe, you will not be disappointed!
In store sales and customer service was very good but ordered my Furniture on Aug. 30th and today is Oct. 6th and still have not heard from them except a form letter email that my order is being worked on and thanks for my patience!! Getting irritated! Orginal order said by Sept. 27th and now they tell me MAYBE second week of Oct.....really?
Very helpful staff but the product is overpriced for what you get. In my opinion. Sure youll get to pay it off over time if you cant buy it outright. Ive bought from this company over the years and always felt I shoulda got more for the money I put up. Maybe I didnt spend enough? Talking about the furniture not the mattresses.Thank you MR and I did submit my feedback. Not sure what good it dies though considering my feedback is most likely not going to change the production specifications or standards in your parent companies factories.Thanks for responding and being professional which is what Ive come to expect from the staff at this location. I guess Id call myself a regular customer of this store. The reason is pretty clear, a large and varied selection of fine furnishings and decorative touches at reasonable prices. The store is always well arranged with attractive displays and friendly staff, eager to help, or just let you browse.My most recent visit was in search of some added, decorative lighting for a bedroom. There was much to choose from. After making a choice I was delighted to learn that my selection was floor-stock and would be generously discounted. The purchase was made and the sales person escorted me out, carrying part of my purchase.No doubt this store will see me again.
I am a long time customer , this is my go to store when I am looking for furniture to buy... Not sure what is recently happening to this store ? But they are slacking in the great great great quality products they use to have. Do not get me wrong you will always fine great quality top of the line furniture here , but it’s not the same ...
Christine is great! Took us quite a few visits to finally decide on our new couch and she was there almost everytime. She was very sweet, informative and helpful. She didnt hang over us and follow us everywhere we went. She greeted us at the door and periodically checked in on us as we browsed. Would definitely recommend Christine and Raymour and Flannigan.
Due to the size of the store and the way it is mdse. it is very difficult to shop. it would be much easier if all the items of one kind were displayed together. i understand why it is layed out the way it is but it is still very difficult to shop. also i wish that you would honor the military discount along with your sale discount together. i earned the military discount. why not honor it at all times. thank you.
Was told we could get our Casper mattress the next day. Was upsold an adjustable head and foot base. Delivery came next day with only the mattress not the base. After we just had our bed, frame and metal frame removed. Wasn’t offered anything for our troubles until we complained. They are supposed to be sending us a giftcard in the mail but apparently can’t use it towards our bill of what we just purchased...
Service was great when I went to the store, however I had expressed I needed a later delivery time in the afternoon because I was going to be in briefings all week until 4pm daily. Instead they book me for a 1-3pm delivery time on a Thursday. I call to let them know I had requested a time frame after 4 and I needed it delivered before Saturday when my guests fly in. Service was not accommodating, just insisted to push it out to another delivery date after my guests are to arrive which defeats the whole purpose of ordering a new bed, mattress and dresser for my guest room. I am hoping they will have it delivered before I have to head to Syracuse to pick up family from the airport.
Salesperson was very nice and personable-I completed the transaction by phone and it would have been nice to know I was being charged for a less than 2 mile delivery-your local competitor of equal level delivers for free-so I was surprised when i got my invoice by email-we resolved the problem by picking up the chair-I think $110 was a bit excessive for something we easily loaded on a pickup truck-even wayfair delivers for free and I spent a whole lot more money with you
The store guarantees 3 days shipment or less. I went there this past Thursday to purchase 2 sleeper sofas (I am expecting family to visit this weekend) and a full size mattress. I was told we get 1 delivery a week to my area so I have to wait until next Thursday (the shipping day) for delivery. I’m okay with that if I went to a store who didn’t specifically advertise on how fast their shipping is. They’ve been paid in full. I receive an email asking what I think of my new couches. I haven’t received them.
I am beyond flabbergasted with my experience with Raymour & Flanigan. I will NEVER purchase anything from there ever. I went in to look at a couch on a day there was a sale. I spoke with a sales rep and asked them if there was any way I could keep the sales price but possibly purchase the couch a different day. I told him that I was purchasing a new home and would be closing very soon (note: I hadnt closed on the house yet!) I said I was still looking and that I may decide on a different couch elsewhere, however, I figured that if I could get them to lock in that sale price for me it might be worth coming back after making some comparisons elsewhere. The sales rep said yes. They said they would just need to create an account for me. I watched him go onto his tablet and go to their website and click create account. All was well, but then he continued to ask me for more and more information. I continued to give it to him thinking this was how they created an account for customers. The sales rep asked if I would be buying the couch on credit IF I purchased the couch. I said yes. IF I purchase this couch I will buy it on credit. Never ONCE was I told that they would be doing a hard credit check on me nor opening a line of credit. They never once ASKED if thats what I would like to do. Next thing I know he says Perfect you have been approved by Raymour & Flanigan and told me I had very good credit. I was totally baffled in how the heck I got myself into that situation and the sales rep was NOT straight forward on his intentions. I almost had a heart attack when he walked me to the back of the store and told me that I now had a pending purchase for $1,700 on a line of credit I NEVER consented to opening. ALSO, I WAS CLOSING ON MY HOUSE THAT WEEK AND THEY RAN A HARD CREDIT CHECK ON ME. They were not apologetic and the sales rep did not seem to understand what he did. He kept say Its fiiiiiine. Its not like you just bought a car on credit! No problem!. I did not sign anything. I told them I did not want to purchase this couch, however, the damage was done. We told them that we would be calling within the day to cancel the purchase. A week later I received a bill from them in the mail. I had to call AGAIN and explain how disappointed I was. I received no apology in any form. It took another 3 weeks for a letter in the mail to confirm that the purchase was canceled. Then, today, 3 weeks later I get a call from the SALES REP ASKING IF I WANTED TO PURCHASE THE COUCH! It does not appear to me that the managers at the store communicated to this sales rep what he did was wrong. I will never step foot in that store again because I feel as if I was swindled into signing up for a line of credit without my knowledge and received no apology. I have been in many furniture stores since and have never had such an experience with another sales rep.
We always exclusively deal with Kristine Grimaldi at the Yorkville store, she has always guided us in the right direction. Kristine is very personable and has a great deal of knowledge for your products. We have bought several living and bedroom set and every buying experience with Kristine has been extremely pleasurable.
My husband and I ordered a couch and chair in mid September and every time we call they keep telling us another 2 weeks. Last time we called, Mike guaranteed that they would be receiving a shipment at the end of November. I called again today 12/2 and they said another 2 weeks and then was hung up on. I think we will be asking for a refund and go somewhere else.
Felt like i was shopping for a car, salesman right on top of us , when we just walked in the door. Told him we were looking for a bed, and wanted to compare mattresses, when he knew we were not intrested in buying, he left us to find the other mattresses, that were spread out throughout diffrent areas of the store. Matresses should be all in the same area. POOR organization, and salespersons that should be in diffrent jobs.
Today I went to Raymour and Flanagan to buy a Mattress. I was dreading it-hard decision to make-what would be best for my issues. Lourdes Fumarola couldn’t have made it easier for me. She made shopping SOOO easy without being pushy. She was very patient. As a consumer I’m kind of a PIA. Lourdes asked the correct questions about what my needs were and narrowed down what options would be best for me. I was so pleased I bought a couch also.
I made a purchase with raymour and Flanigan a few months ago and put everything on layaway i was charged the delivery fee twice which they had removed one of them after i had called. This was the only furniture store that i had dealt with that charged for delivery and for purchasing more than 5 grand of stuff deliver shouldn’t be charged for. When i finally was ready to pay everything off due to waiting for renovations being done with the house, i called and asked if i made the final payment on a Tuesday would i get Wednesday delivery they told me yes as long as the payment was made before 5pm on Tuesday so i called again and said I’d come in Monday and they told me I’d get Wednesday delivery. I came in monday and made the payment they told me I’d get delivery Thursday which only Tuesday and Wednesday’s worked for me which i wasn’t happy about. So the employee told me she would call me if she could get our delivery for Wednesday she called back told me they could t do it the soonest they could get me in was Friday when i was just told Thursday so i scheduled the delivery for the following week. The employees aren’t on the same page about what is said to customers i was told something different each time i spoke to someone i wasn’t pleased at all with the process of delivery and will not be purchasing from here again.
I went to the store in Utica. Salesman was great and ended up buying the wrong bed for my Rheumatoid due to the salesmans wanting to sell me a very expensive bed thatbwoyld relieve my painWell I slept horrible got 20 days till I phoned then and told them the matressvsagged in the middle and was squeaky. Said they could not be out to see me for a month. Ha. They told me to come in and pick a mother bed. She seemed very lnowledgableabout my issues with back pain and Ra. Told her I needed medium firm. No prob. She pointed out some beds that Were suppose to fit my needs. Am in 2 days now and in worse pain than ever toss and turn.all night and cant even walk its so firm firm firm..Chronic pain.....wont even mention the rest. Not at all happy and now what. Charged me just what I had spent and had no choice but to purchase items I did not want to match my bill. Here I am in dent and fing.. no sleep no function. Painnnnn.Its all about the money with these peopleGo to Joe Tahans..
Went there to buy a mattress,was greeted by a salesman who showed us several mattresses.We decided to buy one, went to the sales counter I had a question about the bill, this unprofessional salesperson asked me if I wanted to cancel the sale we ultimately did they lost a 3500.00 sale.will shop else where in the future.I have spent many thousands of dollars there No More.

2021-12-15I have never felt so welcomed in a furniture store. Not only did they help my husband and I but also my daughter. We never felt pressured to buy. We didnt have to wait 5 months for our furniture. My daughter had her mattress in a few days. The employees who delivered our purchase were FANTASTIC. I highly recommend this store. Do not bother going anywhere else. Everything and anything you need is under this roof. And the prices are fantastic. I will be going back to furnish the rest of my house. Actually Im looking forward to going back. Thank you so much for taking care of my family. Have a great holiday. 🎄

2022-02-21We recently visited the Raymour & Flanigan store near Utica and it was amazing. The staff there is super friendly and not in the least bit pushy when it comes to making decisions. Our sales consultant was Elizabeth B. (Liz) and she was absolutely amazing to work with. She was patient and understanding as we had our almost two-year-old son with us and any parent knows how shopping with a little one can be. Both she and the other staff members made us feel welcome and when it came to pairing specific furniture pieces they were very attentive and moved pieces from other areas for us to see if they matched. Best experience by far at a furniture store. We are planning on returning to purchase a few more items we were unable to get due to time, but cannot wait to work with Elizabeth again. Will be buying all my furniture from them for sure.

2022-03-14Had a great experience over the weekend! Adam helped us out to purchase a new bed and mattress and was very knowledgeable and had excellent customer service! He was sure to check the stock on what we were looking for and our purchases will be delivered quickly. We are overall extremely pleased with the store and our salesperson. We would not hesitate to return or to refer our friends and family!

2022-02-18Everything about the process was seamless. When we ordered our furniture, they were upfront about delays in receiving the product and still delivered earlier than promised. Their delivery teams were very professional and courteous. Absolutely would purchase here again!

2021-08-16I was treated well and professionally when I first came to look at furniture for my living room. Elizabeth gave me a tour of the appropriate areas of the showroom and then left me to browse and check out the chairs and sofas. She checked in with me occasionally and answered my questions and gave me written information. She was very helpful, not at all pushy and was there when I had questions.I came back to the store with my husband once I had narrowed down my choices and we had a different consultant. Lourdes was very informative, friendly and patient while we decided on our choices. I explained that I had worked with another staff person and Lourdes said that she would note that. Lourdes was not pushy at all and gave us time to browse. I asked that both she and Elizabeth get credit for the sale.The experience was very friendly, informative and stress free. We replaced a loveseat and chair and a half that we had purchased at Raymour and Flanigan approximately 20 years ago.

2022-02-09We were greeted by a Very Nice and knowledgeable sales associate named Lourdes Fumarola. She gave us time to look around the store and showed us items that we had seen online. She gave here opinion when asked and was never once aggressive or pushy trying to make the sale. Today, we plan on calling the store Manager to tell them what a great, kind and knowledgeable Sales Associate they have on there staff at the New Hartford Store. We ended up purchasing a Dining room set, a buffet and a Bedroom set Thank you Lourdes!

2022-06-13Update...order placed 2/11, was last told 6/15 now getting told 8/30!!!!! Changing review to a one star because 0 isnt a option. Screw this place. Hope they go out of business. I will NEVER do business with this place again!!!!!!So, lets start off with saying the quality of the furniture I have gotten is good. Thats why they get a 2 star review. Now, the bad. If they do not have what you want in stock, DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. I have been waiting for months for an item I ordered on 2/11. Originally, it was going to be in stock on 3/15, which turned in to 3/22, then 3/29, 4,5, on to 4/11, 4/14 and now its showing 4/18. I get they are at the mercy of suppliers, but DO NOT TELL ME ITS GOING TO BE HERE ON A CERTAIN DATE and FAIL to deliver. In foolish fashion, I didnt realize at the start they were full of it. Originally due on 3/15, I arranged to have 3/17 off, and things seemed fine, until 3/16 I get an e-mail changing the date. I had already scheduled off a day of overtime, costing me over $600. I called them after about the 3rd or 4th time of getting emails pushing back the date. Very upset at this point, I called them and explained the situation. Their response was Oh, you should probably not take time off until we call you. Wow! Really!? You think!? So, I guess at this point, I will go somewhere else, buy something else, when this item comes in, I guess they can stick it, just like they have been sticking it to me. Not a pleasure doing business with you. Glad Joe Tahans Furniture is right next door, go there instead. The sales reps are better too.

2022-06-22The salesman was very pleasant when we went to look for a mattress here. My wife, because of an illness, Spends almost of her day in bed, and the salesman understood because his wife also had a medical bed ridden issue. We were buying a new mattress because ours was old and thought a new one would help with her sciatic pain which was more than likely caused by our old mattress.He sold us springs and a mattress which was delivered shortly. The first night sleeping on the bed, it was too high and her feet couldnt touch the floor when getting out of the bed. We had removed the tag on the springs. (DONT ever do that.)They came to remove the springs and the guys told us that the height of the bed was the main reason mattresses were returned. The lower springs were put in and we were charged $200 because WE REMOVED THE TAG. Evidently they couldnt use it for a floor model? 3 months later, there is no relief with sciatic pain. Just read there is a 5 yr. Warranty we were not told about. Probably cost another few hundred. My wife called today to see what they could do for us. Before explaining, the guy asked what type of mattress we have. She said a Sealy...no, we cant do anything. Youll have to go through Sealy..even though their plan, which we werent offered, covers food and drink stains, burns, paint, all types of other stains , rips, cuts and punctures!Its too bad they cant help. We had thanked our salesman, even after our additional $200 cost and said wed be back because we needed new furniture throughout our home. Guess where we arent going?

2021-12-20Mary, our sales rep, was exceptionally helpful. She answered all of our questions and did not BS us when she did not know something. She found the right people to answer our questions. She made our 5 yr old daughter feel welcomed. Ordered our bed on Sunday, delivered on Tuesday. A fantastic experience overall.
