I truly wish they were more transparent with their Options for Gluten Free, I hate to be that guy. With being diagnosed with Celiacs Disease it makes it so hard to enjoy normal life family dining. Finding places with allergy facts, GF foods and options with dedicated trained cooks is so rare. But such an under appreciated benefit. WOULD LOVE to know what is made with wheat here! Or possibly containing gluten! Or is MORE THAN LIKELY GF. are the bone in wings GF? Which sauces are GF? The seasoned grilledChicken? Is the seasoning GF? This is a thing we must have answered! Please and thank you so much.
I had a angry orchard beer and some happy hours appetizer. It is decent. Nothing special. Our waiter was friendly and attentive to us.A typical sports bar.

They have the best buffalo chicken salad around! Its my favorite. The Amsterdam location is pretty good. They have good service and not a long waiting time. I like how you can wait inside the restaurant sitting in a big comfy leather chair. They always have the TVs on and theres a certain ambiance in that type of restaurant that is pretty cool. Good waitresses who are attentive and very helpful. I recommend this location.
Waiters are super nice, but go for the wings, absolutely the best, anything else doesnt even complete, though the fried pickles are also pretty great

I ordered a meal for pick up. The full rack of ribs entree. I substituted the coldslaw for corn and the other side was sweet potato fries. As I arrived to the restaurant, I was pleased to see there was convient parking in front of the door for pick up orders. I walked in and was greeted right away. I went to the bar to pick up my order. The total was $21 and change. As they began to bag my meal, I look around the restaurant... holy TV heaven.I arrived back to the hotel approximately 10 minutes later. Pulled the food out of the bag. It was the perfect tempurature for consumption. The meal came with plenty of wet-naps, plastic utensils, ketchup and what I believe was a honey mustard dipping sauce. The ribs (6 out of 10) were extremely tender... jumping off the bone. I like the bbq sauce they used. The corn (7 out of 10) was an excellent creamed style, but not much in the volume department. The sweet potato fries (5 out of 10) were exactly what I expected, but could have been assisted with some sweeter sauce.My overall score would be a 6 out of 10.

Enjoyed a burger dinner with a friend. Terrific attentive service and good food. Always reliable go-to for tasty burger. If youre not a sports fan, old Bob Ross painting videos and cooking shows were playing as off beat counterpoint to the sports bar atmosphere.
After 1 1/2 hours waiting for a take out, my pretzels were cold and burnt, the cheese was minimal and cold and everything was way too high priced for appetizers. I wont be back
I waitress for the whole restaurant. Waited 20 minutes before placing drink order another 20 minutes to place food order and my celery was covered in dirt. Apparently the prep people dont wash the vegetables before serving
They were down staff because of the omicron virus. The barmaid told me 8 staff called out. These are tough times, but they were kind of rude about it. We all have to grin and bare it right now
Was very packed for a monday plus kids r off school for winter break so a lot of highschoolers....went to bar to sit was waited on almost immediately for drinks by a skinny bartender who was nice. got our truffle fries and pretzels quickly and than our wings shortly after. great place for wings n drinks. our bartender was awesome she said she did a private bartending party for weekend and gave something called a jack sparrow to the couple to our right at bar , so in turn i ordered one cause of jack sparrow(pirates of carribean) (if u dont know johnny depp) and my hubby took my double jack n coke...all in all drink was amazing, bartender was great n friendly...one of the better nights we have had at recovery room. our bartender who made the jack sparrow needs a raise...very knowledgable and quick.
This is the first time we were at this place to eat. We were not impressed with what we paid for the portion sizes that we got. And it was not much of a choice on the menu either as far as steaks go or gravy etc the waitress was good she was great but as I said as far as the food choices and the portions and how much it cost for us to eat there we wont be going again.Oh

Garbage. Over $100 for 5 overcooked burgers that were served cold. Very little noted menu. Unpleasant waitress. This used to be a great place with good food. Unbelievable how far it has sunk. Avoid for anything other than drinks.
Used to go there every week multiple times, but then they got rid of all the games and pool table and quick pick. Kids used to love going there. Now they never wanna go. Its not the same. They need to change something quick or there not gonna last. It seems more like a bar now. Not a family sports bar. I wouldnt recommend it to anyone anymore.
Once a great place to have a filling affordable meal with decent quality but now is just a sad shadow of its self. The prices are increased while the quality of the food is at a disgustingly low level. Disappointed with this meal over all and will not return. There’s no excuse for bad quality.
Raw bacon, wrap was different from what I ordered, and my burger had not 1 but 2 hairs in it.... service was horrible! I wont be back anytime soon

Southwest salad is pretty darn good.
Only one waitress on staff, it wasnt really busy but the people had spread out. Shes remained friendly and didnt make us feel rushed or neglected. A kitchen staff member did help by bringing out peoples food, well mannered as well. They worked as a team to get the running ad smooth as they could. Portion size was a bit small for the price I thought compared top a few other places I have been. It was good food so thats what counts there
Urinals appear to have last been cleaned around the time this place first opened. Garbage in the mens room overflowing. Had to share one menu despite being the only customers in the place. 2 plates came with appetizers for 3 people and one of the plates was dirty. The waitress was oblivious. The food was good.

I really wish this place will get their act together. I never had a problem with any of the recovery rooms before so maybe it’s just this location. I ordered from them about three weeks ago and got a salad. I had nothing but yellow and white lettuce and half the salad was missing. I placed a complaint and the manager emailed me and told me that he was going to send me a gift card and apologized. I never even received the gift card in the mail. I tried them again tonight and the chicken that was in it it’s not the normal check in. It was almost like canned chicken. It was missing the corn salsa, the beans and the tortilla chips that go with it. I’m not even gonna complain again to the manager because he clearly didn’t do anything. I’m disappointed and I really hope that this location can turn it around because when their food is good, it’s good.
We go here about once a week for the combo of beer selection, friendly staff, enjoyable atmosphere, and great boneless wings!

Nothing to write home about. Average menu with nothing standing out. Im a craft beer guy and they only have three NY state micro-brews. Bartender doesnt even know whats on tap besides the run of the mill Bud, Bud light....You get the idea. If you want wings and a Bud, then more power to ya! Otherwise dont waste your time. Beer menu? Whats that? Untappd beer app? They never heard of it! There is a dozen micro breweries within 10 miles of this place!

Seriously cannot stand any of the girls that work here! We come here every single week for wing night, and order take out probably once a month on its own due to lack of “restaurants” rather than diners in Amsterdam. The food is okay, nothing special, anything other than appetizers or wings taste like its been prepped and kept for over a week. The staff are less than friendly, and if I didn’t have morals I wouldn’t tip. The only staff that are helpful are the hosts, who have little to no power in a business like this. The waitresses are rude, and coming from a previous server, myself, I’d call them lazy as well. Not helping the women at the bar, staring at me sit at the counter as I write this without helping in any way! Won’t be coming back again, sick of the dirty looks and poor service. Not to mention the cold food I’ve received if it’s not an appetizer or wing. Bye!!
We have gone to the Recovery Grill many times and have always enjoyed our meal, but not since the corona virus has happened. Went last night 7/28/20 and had a TERRIBLE meal. I would have to say the worst ever!! I had the chicken quesadilla as my meal from the reduced menu. The chicken was awful. It was like the chicken that comes out of a can, like you would use for chicken salad. I had the consistency of tuna fish and it tasted awful. Will not be back for a while!
The staff are very friendly and helpful. We went for the first football game of the season. It started late and the staff let us stay as long as we wanted. The manager even came out and gave everyone who stayed late a bottle opener. I always really liked the Recovery but last night was an especially nice experience. 5 Stars!!
There are only a few things on the menu that are good, the wings are one of them and hot is actually hot. the beers on tap are the best part. They dont show UFC fights because theyre a family friendly ......bar? OR more likely theyre just too cheap to buy the fights IMO.
The staff is friendly and attentive. The food is good. Prices are reasonable for a sports bar. I dont like that the took the games out. That was something my children and I looked forward to. It made the time waiting for food to come pass much faster and it helped with my very active kids, gave them something to do. We go less now that they are gone.
It was very fast with makeing the food the waitress said 20 minutes and it was like 10 minutes so it was very nice to get in and out
I absolutely love this place. The staff are great, the place is clean, and the food is even better. The ambiance is very dark, probably so you can see one of the many tvs on the walls. It’s not a very quiet restaurant because they are always busy and it’s a sports bar as well. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Had a party of 9, our waitress was fantastic. We werent cramped, had plenty of space to dine and enjoy our evening. Good sized portions.

I have been there twice and the service is always amazing but I never have a good experience with food. There is a crab Mac and Cheese that can have chicken substituted for the crab and scallops which I opted for due to my intense sickness with seafood. When I received my food it had chicken, but there was still seafood underneath. I took one bite and knew it was there. I was sick in the bathroom within 5 minutes and could not eat anything else. Once again not a pleasant experience.
Some interesting menu items compared to the usual sports bar. Remodel of their locations was well done. Lots of high quality TVs, and each table has their own speaker so you can watch or ignore. Reliably good and fun small chain of sports bar/restaurant. Service is friendly.

The food presentation was cool and the taste matched the look.The coolest thing about this sports bar was the fact that local star student athletes super size pictures are on the walls for everyone to see. Great community engagement from a solid spot.
My family and I used to go here all the time, we loved it. We went here earlier this week, and it was awful. The food was really bad, one of us got ice cold soup, the chicken alfedo had no alfredo sauce on it, and when we asked for more sauce for the dish, our waitress gave us melted butter with a ton if garlic in it. Also, when we ordered a kids burger slider meal, we got a frozen, long burger patty with two sets of hamburger buns on the one patty, I have never seen anything like it in my life. Something has definitely changed. When we asked our waitress what was going on, she said that was what they were serving now. We made our complaints and the manager took the Alfredo and soup off our bill. Also, the waitress was very nice about the whole thing. This is just a matter of opinion, but they changed their menu, as they do every couple of months, it seems, and they always take the best foods off the menu when they change it. It was a fun place to go in our little town, especially for the kids, but we wont be going there anymore.

Easy access, easy parking; Enjoyable environment; not too loud, plenty of seating; good visibility to TVs. Attentive waitress; good beer selection, but a little heavy on IPAs and trendy beers (it is Winter; more stouts and porters for the hearty beer drinkers, please!); the food was very good; nothing earth-moving or exceptional, menu was mostly generic, but it was well executed in the dishes we ordered. Would come back again!

We had an amazing meal. I had a 1/2 Nachos and my Fiance had a Reuben with fries. Were both stuffed. The prices were great and our waitress Becca was on top of her game!!! Well definitely be back!!!

Went way downhill since the renovation. Kids meals, which was a main reason we went all the time, have less options and a lot less food. My dinner was mediocre at best and my wife ordered her favorite and it was smaller and inedible. Even all of the drinks had been watered down. We went from regulars to Im not sure if Ill go there again after one visit. Completely ruined our favorite family restaurant.EDIT After Response: You say you dropped one item but in reality you dropped a bunch of kids menu items and replaced them with smaller and cheaper options. Burgers were no longer on the 2.99 kids menu along with several other of my kids favorites. Instead you offer cheaper items like mac and cheese and a turkey & cheese rollup. You also replaced the dessert with a fruit roll-up. I understand food and operational costs go up but I would have preferred to see the same quality menu items and paid more for them. The cost cutting was so obvious in everything from adult meals, watered down drinks, and kids menu overhaul that it showed a dedication to saving money instead of a good dinning experience.
This is hands down my favorite sports bar.... Thats a weird saying, HANDS DOWN. I mean, that would be awkward standing with your hands down. I guess they cant say HANDS UP it would sound like they were robbing you. Really good quick food, and even better, the kitchen is open late. The buff chick wontons are what you want, they are West mixed mixed with East culinary delight. There a large selection of craft beers, from all around. The late night kitchen is key.
The worst service ever!! Took 20 minutes plus for the hostess to figure out how to accommodate a party of 6. It then took at least 20 minutes before we saw a waitress. Took the waitress 25 minutes before we saw a drink. I was informed the vegetable I was told would be served with my meal was for tomorrow. I was fine with that. Was then informed that there were no mashed potatoes, which is what comes with the meal I ordered, they had diced potatoes instead. Well being a mother of 3 and having cooked potatoes too many times to count I know it takes cooked potatoes to make mashed, so why was I told there were no mashed when they could have easily mashed the diced potatoes. Needless to say I will never go to the recovery grille in Amsterdam New York again and suggest you dont go there either. My boyfriend and I were regulars at this establishment until tonight.
I havent been there in awhile so the atmosphere was different. Lunch service was incredibly slow. We were done with our appetizer before the waitress took our lunch order. Ill definitely try again but was unimpressed with this time.
The Recovery Room has a good wing menu. You can get the traditional wings or their hand dipped chicken tenders. The tenders are a good size and well worth it. My wife and I get a dozen split them and take the rest for lunch the next day. All the food is pretty good and have a great drink menu. Tho only down side is the boxes you tune into the channels you want to hear. They are difficult to hear when the volume is above half.

I have only been here once but I have nothing good to say other than my server was friendly. It was a while before we were seated, a while before our order was taken, and a while and a half before we got our food. My food was OK at best. I ordered a Cajun chicken sandwich which was bland. How do you get bland from anything Cajun flavored is beyond me.For reference, I ate at 2:00pm
Walked in today waited ten mins for the hostess so we could be seated the restaurant had many open seating areas no one even Acknowledge my family nor wait staff even attempt to help us even after saying excuse me just looked at us an kept walking in normal busy flow I would of understood but it was dead in there would not go here lucky I have to give a star
Revamped their menu and added a few new things but also took off a few favorites. The ahi tuna is gone which is disappointing but they added a couple new burgers. A gluten free menu is available upon request (based upon the old menu - kind of a guideline)
From Staff to management to kitchen to bar to servers. All are accomaditing and very polite and friendly its a community family growing every dayGreat to walk in and have everyone know your name. Service & Food & Beer Selection all get an AAA+++
Terrible.... Went for dinner and was brought out dirty wine and drinking glasses with lip prints on them, food stuck to the plates and silverware, was told the food ordered was no longer available so the food ordered smelled old and sour and tasted just plan awful. Overall it was a horrible experience and will NEVER go again. Ive had better experiences at McDonalds

Their barbecue nachos are loaded with jalapenos and pulled pork. The chicken tenders are awesome, fresh, tasty breast meat. And the service was great.

We used to enjoy going there a lot. Then they took out the games. Part of why we went there was so the kids could have some fun.The dull environment is not as cool as when they had all the sports memorabilia all over the place. What happened to the seats from the old yankees stadium?So we went just my husband and I for dinner and drinks and the beer selection was lame. So many IPAs and the rest were garbage domestics. What happened to the great craft beer choices?And while we waited for who knows how long nothing on the menu looked good. Except for the lousy 17 dollar steak and potatoes. How many people want quinoa at a sports bar? Seriously.....So this place has lost our business and thats a shame for them because we spend a lot and tip big. Oh well.
Typical sports bar food, burgers, wings. Food is good, nothing fancy. This place is always lively. The wait staff is very good. They dont rush you to leave.

This place sucks. The wait staff is ok. The kitchen staff is miserable, and the management has GOT to be subpar.The food is simply God awful. If you want better food, you can go to the frozen section at Wal-Mart and buy frozen food and heat it up in the microwave. Its that bad.Tonight we had burnt chicken tenders, dried out potato skins, and bacon/cheese fries that had very little cheese and bacon that was cooked for breakfast. Its REALLY bad.Go to Ruby Tuesday or Applebys and get better food (and that food sucks, too...just not this bad).

Pretty good food. Chair leg fell apart leg. The worst part was the people I the bar. Well, not all of them. Just the ones rooting for the 49ers. There were way to many. Like 3. I had a Marshawn lynch Jersey and none of them talked to much but were as loud as me. Lol. I didnt think you let guys that wear San Francisco slippers in your bars. San fran slippers are knee pads. Hawks lost and I couldnt enjoy much afterwards . That was a Sunday night and it was great less the game. How about them cheifs
This place treats their employees like crap. I was just in for wing night and had an amazing waitress, she was putting up with my friends acting rowdy and a little out of control, brought us every drink we asked for, was doing exactly what she gets paid to do, great customer service. In the middle of our dinner her manager Johnny comes to the table and confronts her in front of us all pointing out that shes too busy talking to a table while another girl is on her own waiting on her own tables. I felt so terrible for the waitress that had been taking such good care of us that I mentioned I was going to write a review about this and the manager came back to the table like he was about to start an argument. When I asked if he had something to say to me he said no not particularly. So I left. He came back looking for an argument. This is the last chance recovery is getting from me. Had problems before but after this Im done. So disgusted the way an employee was actually treated in front of customers. Then the manager tried to embarrass me as well by telling my friends he was taking my bill for my drink to my job little did he know my friend asked the waitress to put it on his bill, just the fact that this man is really trying to embarrass females the way he is, is exactly why Ill be taking this issue to corporate.Terrible. Ordered buffalo chicken wontons to go and found a piece of metal from the fryer when i was eating them. I called the manager immediately and he assured me he would make it right and promised to send a gift card. I gave him my address and here it is over a month later and STILL no gift card. Cant say Im the least bit suprised considering that was a promise coming from a person than manages a place that has metal in their buffalo chicken... wont ever be bringing my business here again, too bad, was going to have my sons birthday party there but after this never again will i step foot in this place nor will I ever eat their food again. I will also tell everyone I know in amsterdam about this incident and urge them all to go elsewhere, where they actually keep their word and care about their customers experience.... what a joke.
They have very good food, very nice staff and clean. They have one door in and another door out. The out door is on the opposite side of the building and is hard for people that are handicapped.
This place is horrible. My girlfriend had a bad experience a month or so ago with metal in her buffalo chicken wontons... attempting to redeem themselves they send her a gift card along with a note from manager saying how sorry they are. We decided to give them another try and ordered some food planning to use the gift card, only to be rudely told that they are not taking gift cards.... thats the biggest joke ive ever heard, we ended up having to pay cash, we wouldnt have bothered with this place again if it wasnt for the gift card, if i knew i was going to be forced to use cash we would have gone elsewhere and spent that money. This place has lost 2 customers for good this time.

Naw, went to watch the final innings of game 3 of AL division playoff. Around 1030pm. Staff was more interested in doing chores prior to closing then providing service to customers. Was told they did not have any boneless wings either, althoughbthey were on special that night. My all american cheeseburger was nasty. The bottom bun soaked through, the burger cobbled together, probably by the dishwasher. The fries were ok. However, my team, the Red Sox, won 16 to 1, so this dampened my disgust.
Weve been going there about once a month since it opened but no more.the last few times have been terrible especially today.the service is so slow lately and the food has really gone down hill.today we cancelled our appetizers after about 20 minutes because we figured out good would be out first.
Great place to catch the game. Once a week they do Trivia night although the night keeps switching. Excellent selection of beverages to choose from as well. Food is good and service is friendly.
Tasty food, nice atmosphere (although the televisions everywhere feel like a little much) and fast and friendly service. Great place to go with a group of friends.
Always a fun visit. Their recent remodel was nicely done. The food and service is good. Prices are normal for this type of restaurant.
Recovery sports grill has half off wings on Mondays, but they always seem to run out of boneless wings! You have people driving out here for wings, just for them to run out! They should at least compensate for the lack of wings and give you a discount on your meal. The service is lousy and always unpredictable.
Wing night is a big attraction on Mondays, wings are good, so are burgers and appetizers. Would not recommend milkshakes though, icy and not very good.
Very slow service despite only two other couples there...food is over priced by $2 or more per item and food is bland at best.
Slow service, food came ordered a beer didnt get my drink until the food was gone at that point didnt want it I dont like eating my entire meal with no drink. 2 tables in the whole place they were to busy rolling silverware to get me a drink. Not going back.
I was sad when I found out they got rid of the honey siracha flavor, but once I discovered moonshine (honey mustard mixed with some hot sauce) I was surprised as to how good that combination is - wow!! Check it out.
I went there to try the Buffalo wonton appetizer the waitress told us they where all out ..BUT two guys came in 15 min later and new the waitress and ordered buffalo wontons and miraculously they appeared for them when I asked the waitress how come they received the appetizer I was told you were out of she said the second shift cook just came in and made some I guess only 2nd shift cook know how to make buffalo wontons not a good way to serve customers and be lied to .... Never order the crunch Burger its just a hamburger with French fries on it and too much garlic it was terrible. Never go again ....
Decent selection, decent food. Nothing to write home about. But the staff is friendly and the Monday Night wing deal have my friends and I coming back every week.

I always enjoy the Razorback quesadilla. The chicken tenders are also really great and you can try them with a variety of sauces. The Hall of Fame Rewards I really attractive also.

2nd time in two weeks Ive walked in and sat down and have to just watch the waitress sit and talk with her friends at the table next to me. Especially annoying when she doesnt even acknowledge youre there and you leave after 15 minutes of no service. Second time now thats happened.... wont be going back or recommending this place to anyone

Food was ok and portions small. Could have better options and price. Been here 2 times in 2 yrs and same quality and not the cleanest place.
Not really my kind of place but my friend likes to get a few drinks at the bar and some appetizers. Not a big selection of food Im into, kinda loud and our server forgot about us, never got me another drink. She remembered as we were cashing out.

I was a little disappointed how the food came out . My boyfriends burger was burned and our chicken tenders were soggy and I never got my fries . I always ask about the things that the meals come with so I know what I’m paying for . The lady that cashed me out had horrible customer service . Overall my experience was terrible . In my opinion they need Gordon Ramsey’s help .
I love this place! Very impressed with all the TVs and a speaker on the table that you can choose which TV to listen to. The menu is awesome and they definitely feed you 😁
Im sorry, but we were seated in a really bad area, yeah the food was ok, but ask to be seated elsewhere if they try to throw you near the kitchen, which they have a habit of doing
Good sports bar! Helleva lot of TVs. Burgers are great, as are the crab cakes. Skip the Bang Bang pasta. Sweet pasta? I dont think so!
The food was awful. I asked for boneless wings in their savoury Thai peanut sauce, and it was sweet! Not to mention, the wings were dripping in it. Awful, couldnt finish it.
Food was Mediocre. Didnt have Buffalo 🐃 Wontons cause some large group of people had orders them all. At 2:30 in the afternoon you shouldnt be runnin out of anything.

Good beer selection and appetizers. I went there for happy hour which is from 3pm to 7pm and includes $2.50 IPAs and $4 apps.

2022-01-30We had a great lunch at Recovery today! The food was absolutely delicious!!! Just finished leftovers for dinner. Our waitress was awesome and friendly, too. She was around quite often to see if we needed anything and in such great spirits! Will definitely be back soon!

2020-10-13Atmosphere is very sporty; tv’s, photos, jerseys and memorabilia on the walls! They have about 10 draft beers on tap, a decent selection to include seasonal. The waitress was great, the hostess was less so. The limited menu is limiting, it can’t be blamed on the establishment, I guess. Wings and tenders were good! We couldn’t sit AT the bar, but a high top table was pulled NEXT TO the bar, we didn’t see a difference.. maybe after COVID it will earn 5 stars...

2022-05-02The servers were so kind and the service was quick! They have great rules in place to keep everyone safe. Happy to have them open for dine in service again :)EDIT*We just dined here today and had a lovely waitress. Unfortunately, the food just wasnt as good as it used to be... the chicken tenders were a bit dry and our fries were squishy. I remember when the chicken was the best around and the fries always had a crisp to them. Hopefully if we return the food will be as good as it once was.

2022-03-04Dont waste your time n money here.They obviously dont live up to their name since it seems they havent recovered from the pandemic. It seems they must be seriously under staffed or perhaps not capable of handling more than 5 tables at once.Arrived on a Thursday night @ 7pm, the parking lot was poorly lit and nearly empty, inside many open tables available throughout the large n spacious dining room, we stood at the door for nearly 5 mins with servers passing us by without saying anything, i finally had to ask if we were to seat ourselve? & was abruptly informed that there was a 40 min wait. LoL. We will not be coming back & def wont be reccomending to any family or friends. Quite sad really.

2022-01-22Awful! Menu sides that are listed for meals are no longer included even though menu has not changed. Pay close attention because every meal is now ripping you off. Manager said if I had told him he would have changed the bill. Point missed ....how many other people didnt complain and got ripped off?

The place amsterdam location has turned in to the local high school hang out . . Wife and I tried to go just to have a drink and bar food . It was a 2 hour wait . Place was packed with teens .
