Red Lobster in other cities:
Used to frequent this restaurant but on the latest visit everything seemed unclean, especially the restrooms. There was only a handful of staff working so the wait was long. 35-40 mins. Huge credit to our server who was absolutely wonderful. The Biscuits are a fave, and the meal we had was good. They have a new bowl item which I tried and it was great but it seemed like there were bits of rice that were undercooked and still hard to chew. The bar also requires separate billing from the restaurant so we had to cash out at the bar when our table was finally ready.
We ordered a meal to go for curbside, and they first called us back to the store after we had already left because they forgot to put one of the meals in the bag. We get home to eat, and my mother ends up chewing on a hard tiny piece of plastic that was in her pasta. Im not sure how much worse it can get than that.
Food was ok, not worth the price in my opinion..Long wait time, over 30 minutes.3 tables came after us,and was served before us.No explanation or anythingNow granted there was 6a/1cBut the tables after us added up to more.Plates were hot because they was under the warmer so long.
The worst dining experience I have ever had in my life. My Family of 7 arrived to celebrate my daughter’s 13th Birthday and were told it was going to be a 30 to 40 min wait which actually ended up being an hour before my husband asked when were we going to seated after a snippy response from the hostess we were seated at a table after we had requested a booth which we thought that was the reason for the loooong wait,I must mention that there was plenty of seating so if they were not going to accommodate our request for a booth why not just seat us?! So a hostess then brings over some biscuits with no plates to eat on, I’m sorry I didn’t realize we are in the barbaric time period. We then waited another 20 minutes while one waitress after the next passed us by no drink orders were taken or anything as if we were invisible. So we kindly got up and left but not before I asked for a manager who seemed to careless. He did not offer an opportunity to get it right only a I’m sorry it can be tough to accommodate a party of your size and we were waiting for a waitress to come in to serve you all. Like wait a minute Sir so we were not going to be served unless this waitress who I’m guessing was running late to arrive. Totally unacceptable and not what I expect from a 5 star restaurant!!! Totally ruined my 13 year olds Birthday night. The worst dining experience ever!!!!!
Went to celebrate and despite the present situation Everywhere and the shortstaffed employees, the food was pretty darn tasty!!..Ultimate Feast was delicious as well as a few other dishes from the menu..I put my stuffed mushrooms and scallops together in my own style and Nice!..
We celebrated my birthday today on Memorial day because we have to work tomorrow June 1st. Thats my actual birthday. I wanted to go to Red Lobster. The one on Maple Rd and Bailey Ave. The service was awesome. Our server Jamie was great. I had a drink I never had before. It was a Piña Colada with peach. It was the most refreshing drink ever. However, it isnt for kids. Its an adult drink. But I really enjoyed it. You know a drink is good when you dont taste the alcohol. As you can see by the food we ate well. The food was delicious. All that food and it didnt cost much. We really had a great time. I recommend this Red Lobster. The wait was not long and they are social distancing the patrons by tables. Go and enjoy. If you get Jamie she will take great care of you. The management will come over to see how your time was. They are very friendly as well. I cant wait to go back again real soon.
The staff here were very friendly and accommodating. We were initially offered a table and then we requested a booth which was fine. Theres a lot on the menu and prices are fair. The food was good, but just good. Nothing too remarkable nother than cooked seafood. Very run of the mill with little flavor.
We were standing there 10 minutes no one came out to seat us and when we yelled hello a guy came out and said our waitress will be right out that was 10 more minutes I ordered the all you can eat shrimp and she kept giving me the coconut shrimp which I didnt want never gave more rolls just a waste of 60.00 and it happened to a family he almost went in the kitchen to get someone SMH
So got chicken alfredo and it came without chicken and alfredo sauce lol. and it just didn’t taste good. id go to olive garden for better. biscuits were very good as usual. the shrimp skewers and scampi were really good. peach tea was meh ive had better. sad u don’t get salad anymore either. idk the vibe was off. sorry guys!
Was disappointed this time around. Ordered the daily special of 1lb crablegs for $19.99 requested to upgrade to Dungeness for $5 more, was advised that they were out. Fine, I will take the other upgrade one that starts with B. Was told they were out as well. Ok guess Im going with the regular snowcrab. 50 minutes to food to arrive. This was at 445pm the place was not busy at all. Baked potato which I always love was under cooked. Not the best at all. Raising prices yet the portion and service is becoming terrible.
EVERYTHING WAS SO DELICIOUS...WE BOTH ORDERED FILET MIGNON..MAC AND CHEESE..TOPPINGS..BACON..CRUNCHING MIXED IN IT...SEA SALT FRIES..BAKED POTATOES..I HAD A SCLICE OF LEMON CAKE..VERY LIGHT AND SWEET..WE WERE CELEBRATING OUR BIRTHDAYS..ANNIVERSARY TOO..THE WAITOR WAS SO EXCELLENT...VERY POLITE..FRIENDLY
The server Josh was amazing. He had great customer service skills. The biscuits were stale and microwaved....awful tasting. Skewer shrimps were overcooked and had no flavor. Cold soup was served to our table. The coconut shrimp my daughter ordered was the best part of the meal. Worst Red Lobster experience.
I ordered online, got there in time, was told were very busy, the chef hasnt got to your order yet. Waited an hour. I dont blame them. Seemed understaffed and overwhelmed. They have a big sign, Now Hiring, like everybody else. If ur looking for a job, check them out, they need you! Food was excellent. Cheddar biscuits to die for, though Im too young to die. Give them a tip, and some time. Things will return to normal, some day.
The food was cold, thrown together and HORRIBLE! I literally wouldnt feed it to my dogs. Red Lobster has always been my favorite go to restaurant for seafood. Especially on Mothers day... but today was the worse. The only positive was our server Chris was super sweet and the manager Julian was very professional, and accommodating. He apologized and adjusted our checks accordingly. We were charged for our appetizers, which were good. But after 3 hours we left HUNGRY and had to go grab fast food from... on mothers day! This was a picture of my daughters plate EXACTLY HOW THEY BROUGHT IT OUT!!
Do not order for pickup. Eat in was alright. My takeout ordered was underwhelming, shrimps and scallops was barely grill and with only a few spoonful of rice. This was not worth the 30 charged. Two skewers and a small salad. Thats it! I was surprised by the minimal amount of food and no other condiments are in the bag. No sauce, no utensils. No napkins. Of course the order receipt was not signed off.
Server was very friendly and very attentive. Everything came out in just the right amount of time appetizers salads drinks and the main course. The entire party enjoyed their food as it was cooked exactly how it was cooked the way everybody ordered it . it was obvious that the ticket was not rushed through and they took their time preparing are food. I havent been there in a few years too and I will definitely go back sooner this time it was a perfect dinner for my birthday.
I went there last night for my six-year-old‘s birthday! We arrived in the Amherst New York location at about 10 after 5 PM we never received our food until 6:57 PM! At that point my children were really upset the birthday girl was complaining that her belly hurt because it was taking very long! We do understand that it was a Friday and it was dinner time but there’s no way that it should’ve took almost 2 hours for our food to come out! Also on top of that our food was called their macaroni and cheese was not warm at all my waiter was pretty much nowhere to be found and to top it off I complained nobody did anything I would never recommend going to red lobster in Amherst New York again horrible food horrible staff and overpriced they didn’t even offer to give a discount as I complain about everything my mashed potatoes felt like they were room temperature and the fish that I got I got sick from that as well and I know it came from there because I ate one and then my oldest daughter ate my leftovers two hours later and she got sick
Had a really great experience when I went ! Everything tasted really good! My only complaint would be their cocktail menu. I felt like they had all of the classics but it could have been a little stronger or had some nicer garnishes for the price! My daiquiri still tasted great!
Food was horrible and nearly equal to the cost of a local high quality restaurant. I will never be back at a Red Lobster. There was literally a dead Lobster in the live lobster tank. That should have been the first sign. Bisque soup that tasted like sugar was poured into it. One of the three kids literally got sick and threw up in the bathroom. We still tip the waitress but we will not be back
I have been to this location multiple times. And I always have a great time. The staff is always very friendly. They were short staffed but I didnt notice at all. It was quiet and relaxed. The server was very friendly and apologized for delay due to short staff but we honestly didnt even notice. We sat by the bar and it was a nice quiet area. We were the only people sitting there for most of our visit. They had some new things on the menu such as Baja Shrimp. I have celiac so the server was kind enough to get the allergen menu for me. That made ordering for me much easier. And he didnt act bothered at all to go get it.I would recommend this location and the food.
Had lunch with my brother. I stood by the front waiting to be seated for 15 minutes before anyone paid attention. Another guy came in and they went to try and seat him 1st. He made sure they knew I was there 1st and I was seated. The waitress kept forgetting simple things, which was surprising because the restaurant was not busy. I was still kind and left her a $20 tip, but this service was not the service that I am used to. This used to be my familys favorite place.
I went in kind of late, but they still accommodated me and didnt rush me whatsoever. I was buying myself a lobster dinner for my birthday, all of my family lives out of town and my friend could not make it. The food was very good. I had lobster tail, scallops wrapped in bacon, and Im not sure what else but I sure remember that all of it was good. Service was great.
A Tale of Two (Red) Lobsters...I am not sure if what I am about to write is due to COVID staffing issues or if the Maple Road and Transit Road locations are owned by separate entities. My lunch and dinner experiences at the Transit location seem to always be excellent. The hostess is always both polite and professional as well as the servers. The orders come out in a timely fashion and are always correct. The servers tend to show good sales technique by suggesting complementary food/drink items as well as asking for dessert. I have eaten at the Maple Road location a handful of times since the beginning of COVID, and each experience seems to be worst than the previous one. My last experience at Maple was my last. I will only visit Transit in the future. This last experience occurred a couple of hours ago (Saturday 10/16/21). To begin, the hostess was absolutely obnoxious. The member of our dinner party who went to the reception desk to put our name on the queue list, was told by the lady that it would be about a 40 minute wait. I then said to my dining companions that maybe we should go to Transit. The hostess overheard me, and said that would be a good idea since much fewer people go there. My dining party did not wish to do that. After the allotted time, a message was received that our table was ready. When we walked the few steps to the desk, the charming hostess said, Oh, you still need to wait. I have to seat these two people ahead of you. No apology and no thank you for your patience, understanding, etc. We were then seated about 15 minutes later. We were seated in a booth in the bar area (the bar itself was not seating customers) towards the lobby. We were surrounded by other customers waiting for a table in the seats that lined the bar wall. I was actually able to hear some of them over my dining companions. We waited another 15 minutes to place our order. We must have had a waiter who was experiencing his first day on the job. After 10 minutes, we received partial drinks. I ordered Pepsi and water, and my 3 other companions ordered coffee and water each. This is what came out: My Pepsi and 3 waters. After another 20 minutes, the 3 coffees came out, but not my water. The biscuits and apps came out at this time. I then asked for my water. Another 30 minutes elapses. The meals come out and everyone needs refills. I ask for my water again. It finally appears 10 minutes later. At this point, the waiter informs me that the drinks will be removed from the bill. I did appreciate that since this was a birthday celebration that has not gone well. Once dinner is over, I am presented with the check. For some reason, the option to have dessert for all or for me to have coffee or tea was never offered. Since a servers income is dependent on the customers check, I think it would behoove the waiter to ask this. All 4 of us would have ordered dessert and I would have also ordered tea. That is quite a bit of money for both the restaurant and server to forgo. The waiter was not friendly, yet he was not nasty either and he did remove the beverage cost. I am going to chalk up my experience with him as due to being very new or just not trained. There is no excuse for the hostess. I am awarding 2 stars since the waiter was at least trying and for the food being good. The Transit location will still get 5 stars. Please send Transit management to Maple!
As far as Seafood goes, this is the bottom of the barrel. The food is never hot, the food is rather rubbery and definitely not fresh. And worst of all it is definitely not a good price for the amount of food that you get nor the quality. There are several other seafood locations near this location that are much more worth it. And for a better price.
Absolutely outstanding service. Adam, Casey and the crew took extra special care of us today. It was super packed and some of the food was rushed but the amazing service made it all come together. Bravo and thank you to the staff for making our Mothers Day dinner special.
Red Lobster is always great. The staff is always attentive and caring which is why I keep coming back. My wife and I frequent this one and the staff is always welcoming. Whenever I get the chance to get away on my own the server seems to take extra special care of me while not being too in my face. The point is the staff is always amazing and know just what to do. Love it here!
The best seafood I’ve had in a while. Me and my husband went there today and it was so nice! I really wish I remember the waiter name because he was soooo nice and kind and apologetic since it took him awhile to come to our table. We left him a big tip!! We had the lobster and langostine pizza and fried calamari and it was delicious. We also go the lobster, shrimp, and salmon meal and the ultimate feast. I had no idea they give you so much food. And I can’t forget the biscuits 🤤 the customer service was amazing! The food was amazing! Will definitely be back. But make sure you have money because it can be pricey.
Red lobster used to be my favorite place to go out for a reasonably priced dinner. Food quality has really gone downhill the past 5 years. Our last visit prompted a talk with management after long wait times and poor food quality, which assured us a better experience next time. Well, here we are -next time - seated with no silverware.. our waitress triple seated large parties and Im served half my order when it finally came an hour later. It took 2 reminders to get my sides. The ones that come with my meal. Just overall really disappointing experience yet again. We wont be returning.
The lemonade and biscuits were good, Ill get that out there. But the entrees were all horrible. I went there yesterday evening and got the choose 3 feast, and the only part I could stomach were the fries. The steak, which costs a mark up, was a cheap cut that was extremely tough and stringy and had all the flavor of being boiled. The choice shrimp and golden scallops had 0 flavor beyond the oil used to fry them and they made me sick.Maybe for a cheap dinner this wouldve been passable, but the charge after tip is near $50! If you want seafood my recommendation is to buy some from the frozen aisle and heat it up in the oven for 15 min. Itll be the same experience for a 1/5 the price.
Ordered dinner for 4 people with curbside pickup on 07/01/2021. Arrived at the correct time to pick up, called and was put on hold to get my order. After sitting on hold for 10 minutes I hung up and called again. Same result. Sat a while longer and called again, only to be put on hold a third time. Finally went in and requested my dinner from the hostess. She told me to give her a “second”. 10 minutes later she again told me “ in a second”. She finally went back and returned to tell me it was being bagged. After a second check I told her I’d give them 5 minutes to get my food or I wanted a credit. I got my order 4 minutes later. It was cold. It took an hour of waiting and a second customer left due to the poor handling of My order. Never again. This was the Transit Rd location- 14221.
Recd steak that was over cooked then did not receive a replacement steak for about 25 minutes. Also at our table we received a lobster that was over cooked as well but the manager insisted it was supposed to be there. If the waitress we had would have not been the nicest waitress we had in a while they would have gotten no stars as tge food quality has definately gone down hill.
I received a take out order from red lobster that tasted bad, not as pictured, special instructions not followed and two hairs in my meal. I paid $10+ dollars to add crab legs and got four little pieces. I would never have paid that for what I got. Spent $79 and was very disappointed. After a couple of bites we threw food in trash. We usually enjoy red lobster several times a year including our annual Christmas Eve visit. I am extremely disappointed with this order.
Our waitress Rebecca was amazing. The service was super good, fresh HOT biscuits, hot food, fantastic soup, literally it was the first time eating inside a restaurant in a year. Definitely five star service, and food. Everything following Covid restrictions and safety guidelines.
The waitress was rushing it wasnt crowded she gave us the check while we were still eating and the food is not good I dont see myself going back there anytime soon and the cost two much money my bill alone was 50,00 I can see that if the food was good but it was terrible
We went to Red lobster for my husbands birthday. We both got a Bahama Mama and the lobster lovers dream. Our server was Wendy. The food was ok. The lobster was over cooked. The drink was not very strong. It tasted like a mango drink not like any Bahama Mama.. What I really didnt like is how the food trays are carried. My food was right next to Wendys head and hair. I inspected my food after I got it just in case there was hair in it. It is gross and disgusting how close food is to the servers hair. I also was never offered water. I wasnt asked if I needed anything.Like a knife to cut the lobster or salt and pepper. When she brought the salt and pepper shakers her hands were on the top of the shakers. Her fingers were in the take home boxes. Gross!. After dinner we were offered desert. Wendy didnt say my husband could have a birthday sunday free of charge . the way she put it he just thought she was trying to sell us desert.I really didnt know how to handle all this. But I would not want to go back. It was not a good experience
Excellent service...great waitress (Kathy)..delicious drinks and salad. Food came out fresh/hot. All the fried foods were so salty they were almost unable to eat. It is the breading. Maybe they could eliminate some as it is not good for anyone. Really did not enjoy that portion of the dinners.the lobster was excellent!
Arrived and was told a 45-60 minute wait. Still waiting, bathroom dirty, staff rude. They stand at potem whispering and making comments about people calling and the way people are dressed. This is the second time we have tyres this restaurant and it hasnt changed. Not going to do this again . The transit road location is way more friendlier.
Please remember why this restaurant is called red LOBSTER. Fail...lobster and shrimp was dry ,not fresh ..over cooked. Crab legs ok but not fresh.Although we all understand the staff shortage..at least serve fresh seafood. Btw...the only salad available was ceaser...REALLY? The waiter definitely working hard for tip. I tipped him generously bc even he knew the quality of food has went down considerably.
Its a lot better than it used to be. Organization still isnt that great. Wait times for both being seated and getting the food are moderately long. That being said, the food is actually pretty good here for a chain restaurant. Our server was Tori, she was very polite and attentive. All in all not a bad day
Waited past the estimated wait time of an hour and 15 minutes.. asked how much longer and told 45 minutes to an hour more.. I understand covid has reduced capacity but that is ridiculous. All they would say was oh well, they were busy.... we left.. unacceptable attitude and turn around.. if they cant handle things in a reasonable time frame, they need a reservation system.. especially now..
Appetizers came out within 5 minutes of being ordered. My beverage was never empty. Food was absolutely delicious and the hospitality was on point. My Server Anthony was great! 5 stars even though the portions were on the smaller side. I will absolutely return. As a reputable Chef myself, i was very pleased with my overall experience.
Visited this place as a group of 8 with a reservation. Had to wait an extra 25 minutes at 730pm. These things happen so no big deal. What did stand out was the staff offered a free appetizer for the wait. Its all in how you handle it and they did great. As for the food it is what it is. Good for the most part but some was crusted over from being under a heat lamp. All in all they did a great job. UPDATED. Due to the great service by the staff I am changing from 4 to 5 stars. The crew was working hard and it looked like they had a rough crowd that night. Great work!
The person I talked to was pleasant enough and she took my order. We got what we ordered but we asked for NO garlic on our green beans and the green beans had pieces of garlic in it!!! We also asked for No Peppercorn on our steak and when we got it there was lots of Peppercorn on it! I WILL NEVER go there again. They lost my business for good!!
I have never had a bad experience here at this location, until my last visit. The last time I went, I called ahead for seating and did indeed get sat right away. However, the problem was that after we were sat at our table, it took 45 min for a waiter or waitress to provide drinks or ask if we are ready to order which is unacceptable. So I asked for the manager, and apparently the issue was with communication. No told any waiter or waitress in my section that we were assigned to them. The manager quickly offered a free appetizer and assigned us a waitress who was in training. The waitress was very sympathetic and kind. She did her absolute best to take care of us the rest of the evening. I do not blame her at all since she was new. Although the manager took care of the issue, I am still giving 3 stars because corporate has yet to contact me. Its as if they dont want to respond and dont care about their customers.
Phenomenal staff. It was packed and we didnt have a long wait at all. Our waitress was young with tattoos and on top of it. I dont remember her name, but if I see her again I want sat in her section.Speed of service 10/10Food flavor 10/10Food temp 10/10Food preservation 9/10Staff attitude 10/10Mixed drink 9/10Beer temp 10/10Will return
Had a great Easter there thanks to our amazing waitress, Casey. She was extremely attentive to my familys needs, and our glasses never came close to being empty. We werent sure what we wanted, so she provided excellent recommendations for us. We wound up loving our meals. The customer service was exemplary, and I cant wait for the next occasion to go back.
The food was delicious as always. We had a new waiter his 2nd day and he did a great job. Also we had an issue with my one drink ...nothing bad...and Laurel Klino the manager was very helpful. She was just around and seen the while evening and was very nice. She is doing an excellent job!
Very disappointed in the service of this location. We ordered 4 meals, the lady at the bar checked the order to ensure we had everything ordered. I get home and discover our Caesar salads are not included. We called to have them deliver the salads since we were home and they offer delivery due to Covid. The manager advised we would need to come pick it up.
The food was great! I just didnt like the racist waiter we had. She told me it would be too expensive for me to get extra shrimp for my sea food platter! Thats gotta be one of the worst things u can say to a customer. U dont know what they can afford. Never assume things like that! Ive been to this location multiple times, so i think it was just the waiter that was racist n sucked! The food n drinks were so good though! Must go if you never been!
The service is always great. However the quality of the food has gone down hill, especially for what you pay. My lobster was dry and flavorless. The crab legs were so stale you couldnt even get the meat out of the shell. For the price you pay, youre better off going to an actual seafood restaurant and paying the little bit extra for fresh food.
We got food poisoning from their soup! We got the endless soup and salad. Not only are you paying an extra 3 dollars PER BOWL for lobster bisque, your also getting a tiny portion, which is fine if it were only a one time upgrade fee and not EVERY TIME you get another. It was also barely warm and obviously old if it made us sick...
Brought my Mom and Sister here after looking around for buffet places to go. Ended up just coming to classic old Red Lobster. Food was great and so was the staff. Our Waitress Haneul was very helpful and kind, answering any questions we had about the food. I would definitely recommend this one to family and friends.
Everything was decent. Came with friends and we were able to share dishes to make our own kind of sampler. The Dragon Broccoli was delectable, crispy and spicy without being overloaded with breading or soggy. Also ordered the Dragon Shrimp and was a bit less impressed. A side of lobster mashed potatoes seemed like a great side option. It was not. Potatoes had the flavor and texture of being right out of a box, something the tiny amount of lobster couldnt save. We all ordered drinks and were satisfied if not a bit underwhelmed. Overall experience was decent, but wouldnt go out of the way for the quality for the price.
The location I visited in Amherst NY is not operating with a full menu due to COVID-19. Even a garden salad was not available, no fresh vegetables or salad dressings. The shrimp scampi were really rubbery and chewy. My mashed potatoes were so cold that they didnt melt the butter. There was no salt or pepper shakers on the table, nor did they offer to grind any like some restaurants do. My drink was good. Kudos to the bartender. That was my only silver lining other than the cheddar biscuits. Regrettably, I overheard one of the staff saying they dont expect to return to their full menu until next spring or early summer. Please keep in mind that Red Lobster has always been one of my favorite restaurants of all time!
I ordered the fish and chips and the fish was excellent. I substituted the fries with broccoli and they were a little too hard for my taste, could have cooked a few more minutes. I usually like Cole slaw at most places but this one was very bitter tasting to me, even the smell was bad so I only had one bite and was done. The biscuits as usual were delicious! My friend and I finished off the first basket and had them bring more and ended up taking them home - they reheat very well. The server was friendly and attentive, but was a little pushy at the end to get us to pay and leave, even though there was hardly anyone else there and plenty of empty tables.
A pricy place but well worth it!! our waitress was also amazing!! we didnt like the soup because it was a little to fishy. she offered to bring us another soup for free. when we declined she offered to let us sample the other 3 soups they had. very great date night with my hubby thanks to them.
The young lady taken the take out orders , really is a nice, sweet, young lady, makes you feel nice, and knows your order will be right accommodates to your likings, need more like you, stay sweet and safeRemember this day July 28th 2021 the service was excellent the food was perfect thank you so much Red lobster stay the same thank you stay safe
Please read below..update of our last visit..I was very pleased and happy with our experience. There were five of us in our party and we were seated right away and where we asked to.It was my mothers 85th birthday and she requested to dine here. Our waitress was amazing, attentive, and so accommodating. She was very informed, and kind to my mother with her eating restrictions. Everyone of our needs were met, even before we needed them. The food was delicious and plentiful. We were extremely happy, and the birthday girl left smiling! They even braught her a birthday sundae, and sang to her without us requesting it! Our waitress was amazing.Wonderful experience!!!Update 6/24/20We ordered $135.00 worth of food for my birthday..takeoutWe ordered 2 dozen extra biscuits which were a ball of dough in the bags. No biscuits. And we were shorted six.Extremely small portions in small containers. You would think that this restaurant would want to please customers at this hard time, and not just throw small portions in a bag and take your money.Very disappointing since I was so excited to celebrate my birthday with red lobster .Never again. And Im telling everyone.
My one star isnt really fair. Im allergic to Seafood, but my mother loves the place. On my last visit something that I ate must have been cross-contaminated with seafood. I was sick for days. Service is good atmosphere is nice. With the exception of a lot a very loud customers
The food was so good. Waitress was delightful. I ordered a 1/2 order of blackened tilapia which was done to perfection. There was no more cole slaw so I ordered a side of tomatoes, sliced red onion with mozzarella balls and a vinegar dressing which was a disappointment. The menu made it look a lot bigger than it was and the taste was so-so. I would definitely return since the fish was worth it.
I just want to say that I Love Red Lobster, Ive been going there for years. Last Thursday we had reservations for 5:10, we ordered by 5:20 and at 5: 35everything was dropped off at the same time. Our soup, salad and entree! I asked why was our meal served all at once and he said he put a hold on it never offered to keep the entree warm, our dinner was completely cold, part of the entree was missing, I had the wrong soup, it wasnt a pleasant dinning experience. We felt rushed and the food was disappointing .
HORRIBLE customer service. I called in a contactless order to be ready for a certain time, arrived five early and called to let them know I was outside. After twenty minutes I had to go inside to see my food sitting cold behind the bar. They couldn’t have cared less. Go elsewhere they will never get my business again.
Friendly staff, red lobster in general has great food. Always love the biscuits. And the drinks were not watered down like they usually are at chain restaurants. The waitress that served us was very friendly, she was great with my six year old son as well. The bathrooms were clean its always busy at this red lobster but it might be that Ive only been there 5 times all in the weekend.
This place has really gone down. Been here a couple times in last year and the food wasnt good anymore. Used to be our favorite place- now they unfortunately come in last. The waitress Wendy has been there a long time. Thankfully she waited on us- was the best part of going there... Need to step it up with the food. Its not cheap either!
Red lobster is one of our favorite restaurants in the area but the wait time is pathetic.. Specially when we went today we had to wait for 1.5 hours and then we got our table that too after my cousin kept on asking them. It looked like they didnt care that we had to wait this long though we called ahead of time for the waiting list.. It was beyond bad. Wait upto half hour is understandable or if we are just walking in long wait times can be accepted but today was pathetic. Beyond pathetic... Our server though was an amazing person.. She took our order and was very kind.. The food was amazing like always but their welcoming team was not the best!
This place has very good grilled salmon and rice pilaf. The cheddar baked biscuits are always fresh and hot. We’ve had several instances of slow and bad service in the past, but this has improved greatly during our recent visits. One complaint is the lack of appetizers that don’t include shellfish.
This place has steadily declined over the last 2 years. My wife, daughter and I used to eat here atleast once a month. Im not sure if management changed or what but the staff is very rude. To the point that they swear rather loudly amongst each other and openly discuss current guests that are eating at the restaurant. Last time we went, we had such a terrible experience that I refused to pay and asked for a manager. After 20 minutes and multiple attempts to ask where the manager was, we ended up just leaving. They had no cares nor answers. Just terrible
We used the app to be put on the wait-list thinking that by the time we get there we shouldnt have to wait too long only to told that is not how it works..you still have wait the full time. Also, the coffee was luke warm, broccoli way over cooked and lobster over cooked. Only thing that was ok was our server Debbie was great and very attentive.
I was disappointed in me pick up order. On, it was unorganized, I didnt know where I should pick up at, two, the food was less quality as it usually is when I dined in, and I was missing items. I know they could do better, just come on time and ask about your order so it wont be cold
I placed an order for biscuits at around 5:50, I was told my order would be ready at 6:07. I arrived at 6:15 for my order. Its currently 6:42 still no order. You guys need to do better. This is unacceptable. The crazy thing is, if tradition holds true theyll get my order count wrong like they did the last time.
Staff pays attention to detail and their customer. Food was cooked right not raw or overcooked. The calamari was done just right and wasnt as chewy as I thought. The clam Strips could use less bread crumbs but it made them crunchy just how I like it. Everything was fresh and the salad was very tasty for once in my life. Most of the time its old stuff or frozen nothing tasted like it was frozen. Nothing was chewy or hard to bite on. I give this location a 9.5/10. The waitresses are very polite and talkative which made our experience less confusing.
Ordered takeout. This was my first time eating here and for the prices the amount of food was not equivalent. The taste was good and they were nice enough to give us a load of free biscuits as we were the last customers of the day. The biscuits were the best part of the meal along with the seafood stuffed shrimp.
Food was really delicious, service was not the best. While eating a group of servers were clearing tables together and complaining about their paychecks and how much overtime they have been doing and being upset. Pretty distracting and unprofessional to do in front of guests.
Today we decided to do take out orders since the last time we went there we were told the wait time for a table was 15 minutes. After 1 hour we left and grabbed a quick burger. Well I put my order in around 3 pm for a 5:30 pickup today. I get there only to find out they are out of salmon and they said they tried getting in touch with me to let me know. I look at my phone , no missed calls or emails from them. I was offered chicken for a replacement. If I wanted chicken, I couldve made that at home. Im not upset that they ran out of salmon ,Im upset that they couldnt let me know so that I could decide what to do instead of driving all the way out there and finding this out. To me this is lousy service! I felt the gentleman I spoke with couldnt have cared any less. This may seem petty to some but this is the 2nd time in less than a month that I have received bad service there. Be honest with your wait times and contact people ordering take out when you run out of something so they dont make a wasted trip. We wont be back to the Maple Rd restaurant.
Arrived just after 8pm, at least 6 empty tables in view yet had to wait almost 20 minutes. We werent alone. Two other parties waiting. Tables were bussed but not cleaned. From the staffs comments and our observations they didnt clean until the table was needed. Mens room was very dirty. The waiter in training was very confused. The only saving grace was our main waiter was good.
I would go to the Transit location in Williamsville, the Amherst location has poor service. We waited about 20 min before a server stopped by ought table. Then another half hour+ for our order to come. This was at 3:30p on a Sunday, not prime dinner time on Friday night! To be fair, the food was good when it came...
I ordered shrimp they gave me whitefish . Called them back and essentially was told I got what I ordered, not were sorry we will fix it. I picked up the food and it was no problem to wait. I offered him his fish back. Said I ordered fish not we messed up your order. I dont ever have to do Red lobster ever again. Crac Kim er barrel has a better deal on shrimp with 3 sides at a cheaper price anyway. They arent doing shrimp right now and that is the only reason I went to them . Buy a filet o fish for your money
I wish I could give zero stars! Ive never been so disappointed in food before. I know these covid times are crazy but to be as disorganized as they were was just not acceptable especially with how much they charge! I ordered for the afternoon as soon as they opened in the morning since they dont let you order the day before. When I got there I had to wait two hours before my name was called and then when I got to my car all the food was cold and they forgot a lot of our order... seriously ridiculous!
Not enough options for people who dont eat or are allergic to seafood. I had no choice but to eat steak and potatoes which I could of had at home. The broccoli was not good, the steak was med rare and I asked for well, still came back pink. It had to much fat on it and I wasnt able to enjoy it, overall it was my first time there with a big party. I was unhappy with the food and choices.
I stopped by while on a business trip in the area. I had the Duelling Lobsters and peach tea based on the recommendation of my waitress, Kelsey. She did an excellent job. I sought out and spoke to the manager, Steve, to let him know that the whole staff there that night had done an excellent job at least during my visit. I look forward to my next stop and recommended dish.
A good well established branch to get Seafood. Its a family friendly location that has a nice vibrant atmosphere. The building is one of the better ones for the chain. The only draw back is the wait time during peak hours for seating and service. The food is delicious, and while it can be pricey for some dishes it is great for special occasions and get-togethers.
The food was outstanding. The service was lousy. We had to wait for utensils to eat while our food got cold. We had to ask a couple of times for things. The drinks were so slow to come in the beginning like waiting 15-20 minutes for the first initial drink. Way too slow. It was a clean place though and the servers were friendly even though slow.
I was disappointed in my visit. My food was okay at best, the steak was overcooked. Some of the 7 in my group said their meals were good. Others agreed with me. The background music was too loud, made dinner conversation difficult. This was my first visit to a Red Lobster in several years and likely my last. $200 for 7 people, no alcohol, no desserts, no appetizers is a bit steep for so-so food.
Came here for a birthday dinner with my father, got a beer in a dirty glass at the bar...ok whatever it happens, then the chair at my table was full of food which I had to wipe off myself my silverware was dirty, and then to top the whole thing off once we’re sat down, the table next to us gets up to leave and there is a freaking dog with them not a comfort dog or service animal just a dog on a leash. I would not trust the food here if you paid me we immediately got up on left and went to a better seafood place “Storming Crab” if you are thinking about going to red lobster you should save yourself the trouble and go to Storming Crab on Maple instead they are excellent all around.
So far not impressed I dont mind the wait but while at the bar over 10 minutes to get a drink girl never washed bar down from prior guest that had ate there. Bar tenders not even asking if you would like another drink or an appetizer theyre talking to those they know not a happy camper
Our server was great, the overall experience was not. The food was not good, for example my lobster was absolutely murdered cooked beyond all recognition a rubbery chewy mess. The lobster bisque contains no actual chunks of lobster and has a vague bland flavor. The tenderloins were flat under seasoned and overcooked. The low quality of the clientele (hats, headphones, and obnoxious loud behaviour during the meal) is made even more evident by the even lower quality of the food. Quite frankly if it wasnt for the exemplary performance of the server and several cocktails, who went above and beyond to make every attempt at salvaging any portion of the evening she could, I would rate this place even lower. I will not be going back anytime soon.
The food here was excellent! I am, admittedly, a food snob, and normally eschew all chain restaurants. However, my husband had a $50 gift card, so I found myself forced to try it. I honestly loved it! We started with hot cheddar bay biscuits, and they were so good. Buttery with bay seasoning on top! We also ordered a lobster pizza, and while the crust was thin for my liking, the flavor was decent. The garden salad was average, but the main courses.... awesome! My husband had a combination dinner of stuffed flounder, shrimp linguine, and coconut shrimp. I was so jealous of the coconut shrimp, especially after I had a taste! I have also never seen such huge shrimp. I got the Parmesan crusted tilapia with broccoli and a baked potato. The fish was so incredibly tender, the broccoli crisp tender, and the potato had big sea salt crystals on top. Overall, great and I want to go back!
We went on a Sunday before the dinner rush. We were ignored for at least fifteen minutes. Then a quick I will be back in a minute only to sit there for about ten more minutes at which time we placed our drink order. Took forever and didnt even get rolls yet. Finally get our meal only to be ignored again until they brought the check. We couldnt get a refill on our drinks or anything. Shrimp in pasta was over cooked but had no waitress to even tell.
Was looking forward to a rare splurge since its so expensive but so many screw ups on my to-go order. was so disappointed. my daughter picked it up, got home and they forgot my mussels appetizer (an extra special splurge to really treat myself), there were no cheesy biscuits in my bag (most of us look forward to these when we go to Red Lobster), baked potato didnt even have any butter & sour cream. just a ton of let downs. i remember the day when you even got a moist towelette packet & a pkg of utensils, just saying wth.
Dont waste your money. It started with my husband and I being seated at a dirty table, we had to ask our server to wipe it down. We didnt get any silverware until we asked for it, and our glasses were dirty. The server couldnt tell my husband the difference between rock lobster tail and maine lobster tail. I had to google it. Paid $11.99 for literally 2-3 bites of lobster, which didnt even come with butter for dipping. We had to ask for that and by the time the server came back with it, his lobster was cold. My desert was served cold, in a box with no ice cream when I didnt ask for it to be boxed up. Our server was polite but forgetful and very slow even though it wasnt that busy. Luckily we had a gift card because theres no way Id pay for that kind of service.
We waited over 2 hours to be seated, another hour just to put in our food order. In addition it was all you can eat shrimp, and by the time we got our food it was so late we didnt even dare order a second round of shrimp. All in all it was an extremely disappointing experience for us. We will not be returning anytime soon.UPDATE:Red Lobster responded to this review asking me to contact them with more details. I did as requested, and have heard nothing from them since. Even more disappointment, sadly.
Yesterday we came there to celebrate my graduation. We usually love your restaurant, but yesterday was aweful. First the frozen drink machine was down so we could not have one of those beverages. The waiter was excellent but the dishes were dirty. Food came quick, but was aweful. The crab legs were very soft ( we didn’t even need to crack them) when we broke them apart the meat just slid out and was mushy. The lobster tail was over cooked and rubbery. I usually don’t leave reviews but your food is too expensive for that quality. I don’t know what happened but definitely needs improvement.
I always like Red Lobster. Their food is good not necessarily cheap but then you have to consider what youre getting. The servers are usually quite friendly and knowledgeable. We had a young man who is just started there the week before and well still in training. I gave him a hard time but told him that his Jeff would be directly proportional to the amount of harassment I gave him. The food was good I had Lobster shrimp and scallops. Yum yum. Luckily we had a $25 gift certificate so that reduced our cost for the day. If you like lobster or shrimp or other Seafood this is the place to go.
Not that great! It was my mother in laws birthday. We waited for about 15 minutes for our drinks and about 25 minutes for biscuits. We brought my mother in law a cake, the waitress didnt offer to sing the happy birthday song to her but the table next to us sang the song to their guest. Just not a good night there.
No Rock Lobster tail entree with baked Potatoe anymore. All mix and match stuff. Is it covid menu?Did Tucker Carlson upset everyone? Server was nice, tryed to find me something close to what I normally was able to order in there. Great effort on her part. Its just the menu. Where is the Lobster, Red Lobster? Thanks and farewell. ✈
Tonight We went to this location for dinner .I went to the bathroom the first time I entered the store.OMG ....that was disgusting It makes me sick to my stomach. The toilet was very very disgusting. After we got seated we was waiting for a very long time want to order and no one came to us .Have one waitress beside us through but she did’t even ask we have people take care or no ? we are hungry for almost half an hour . finally have a woman came up to take care us, but she plate with a very not willing to work for our orders. We only ordered a drink and anther table who came after us were actually faster than us have drinks .All this makes me feel I choose the wrong restaurants for my dinner .I will never came back here again . Its a pity that the manager cant take care of the restaurant.
Have been coming here for years and I completely understand that at times buisness is busy and tough to keep up with demand. Today was the last visit to this location I called ahead for seating showed up 5 min early waited 1 hour to be seated as walk in groups came in with the same size group as mine two adults one child were being seated in about 10-15 min. After the fourth time of watching this i said enough. So we talked to the manager and told him he needs better help up front they dont know what there doing. So we called Texas road house for call ahead seating very busy there as well as soon as we entered the road house we checked in and were seated in 5 minutes. I dont like to leave bad reviews as i own a buisness as well but the moral of the story is if you want good food and fast service check out the road house young st. Tonawanda n.y
So, we waited 10 minutes in a nearly empty place. When seated, the server proceeded to not only open our menus, she also pointed out, with her own hands, the specials. After a wait, the appetizer - tuna poke smelled very fishy...as we waited for our entrees, I noticed the table behind us being delivered an incorrect dish. Not to worry, they ushered her plate back to the dining room, which was brought back to...you guessed it...me! Ate the food anyway due to the long wait. When I asked for a water for my wife, server said, ya want one too? Whatever happened to politeness? In sum, poor service, substandard food, and a poor choice to spend your dining dollar.
Went in today for an early dinner to avoid the weekend dinner rush, arrived around 430pm with no wait which was great. We were seated in a half empty restaurant, not busy at all. After waiting almost 20 mins after being seated with no waitress/waiter we had to stop a staff member who walked by us if we were getting a waitress. After that, someone finally arrived to take our drink orders. Another waitress showed up and apologized for making us wait, explained to us that she got tied up with a larger party. We placed our entree orders and ordered an appetizer. Our (entree) salads came out first which was unusual since we didnt get biscuits or our appetizer. We asked about biscuits and the waitress said they didnt have any ready but she would bring some out later. We asked about our appetizer and that wasnt ready either because apparently the appetizer we ordered had to be made by hand according to our waitress. We ate our salads first, about 15 mins later we got biscuits, about another 10-15 mins our appetizer came out. The appetizer was awful (ahi pokey) which is a raw fish thats supposed to be served COLD, ours was warm and disgusting. The waitress took it back to the kitchen after we complained and we ordered a different appetizer. Our entrees came out shortly after that and they were pretty good. My lobster was cooked perfect and the crab was great, although the shrimp scampi was WAY OVER salted and too much oil still left on the fried shrimp, the breading on the fried shrimp was glistening, but was still eatable. We had to ask the waitress for almost everything from napkins to crab crackers to eat our crab meat. She almost always addressed our table while walking away/moving around as if too busy to actually stop and ask us how we were or if we needed anything. I didnt feel like we received good service at all, especially for how much we spent there. Next time we are heading to the Transit location. The Maple location has gone seriously downhill. Not a clean facility either.
My husband brought me here for our anniversary. Waitress was unattentive. I asked for hot sauce 6 time and never got it. Shrimp was rubber and overcooked. Ordered a piece of strawberry cheesecake to go and when I got home to eat it there were rotting strawberries on it which completely ruined the entire thing. So I spend $8 on something I didnt even eat.
Waitress came to table 1/2 hour later, and then even longer to bring food. Food taste like it was sitting out. fries were cold. Caesar salad super salty, cauliflower was too salty. It was my bday too and they said they would bring desert but forgot about me once again but sung to 4 other ppl whos bday it was. Not too happy but at least my lobster roll and shrimp pasta was decent.
Appetizers came out after dinner because of a mix up in the kitchen, but one of them was comped after we had to send it back. It was shrimp cocktail but it had some sort of spice on it that made it inedible. We were given a new order but had to take it home because we couldnt eat anymore. Everything else was great! 😁
Went for dinner, ordered the endless shrimp and the person I was with ordered the lobster alfredo. Alfredo came out and had a large ring of fat surrounding the dish. The alfredo sauce was so fatty and thick, almost like a paste. Too oily/buttery for an alfredo sauce. The cheese biscuits were fluffy and tasty. Salads were good with fresh, crisp veggies. Mashed potatoes were decent also. The endless shrimp have about 4 or 5 different varieties. I tried the breaded, teriyaki, scampi, sriracha honey and alfredo. I tried all but the alfredo variety. Not too bad, smaller shrimp but tasted as expected. I feel the quality of the food has diminished over the years. Used to be so much fresher and tastier. Now it seems all reheated or frozen and not as much made from scratch. All the wait staff was helpful and friendly. The bar is fully stocked with a nice drink menu. Lots of families with kids here but not too noisy.
Cant find anything to ever criticize. Service is always great. Food is always consistent from location to location. On a rare occasion you may notice your plate was under warmer to long (dryed up) while remaing meals are prepared. Tell your server and bam, new plate in minutes.
Unfortunately every time I’m at this location the service is displeasing. The place was empty. We got there for lunch around 2, we were seated immediately but it took over 15 minutes just to get water. Another 10 minutes for a drink from the bar. The food was great although one of the orders were wrong. Not sure if it’s under new management but I hesitate going to this location due to the service.
Booked a table ahead of time still had to wait 45 mins when we arrived, hostess gave everyone but us a remote for when there was an available table. We went 35 mins into dinner before we were given silverware. Our appetizers, salads and even our dinner were both brought with out no silver ware.
I was very disappointed. I dined for the endless shrimp. I had the Shrimp Alfredo the shrimp were smaller than a dime, I had the hand battered and crisy fried shrimp. They were hard and looked like popcorn shrimp. So I tried the teriyaki and grilled garlic butter and they were terrible. NOPE wont go back again. The bread was delicious
I really like Red Lobster. We usually go once a year for my birthday and its always delicious. Their shrimp scampi is awesome as are the wood fire grilled shrimp but Im all about the lobster. They tend to be very small and, while they are probably the low end of lobsters, they are still the best food ever. I had a stuffed lobster tail there once, not sure what it was called but it was amazing. Their soups and salads and are always top notch and my wife loves the cajun chicken alfredo not to mention those biscuits. Nice atmosphere, not shabby but also not real formal and the service is usually excellent too.
Red Lobster is not fine seafood, but I loved the place when I was a kid so once in while I crave the nostalgia. My recent visit was okay. It was cheap calories, but nothing special. The cheddar bay biscuits are a heart attack in basket, but they sure do taste good. The shrimp that I had with my entree were the smallest Ive ever seen. I think they may have actually been sea monkeys breaded.

2022-06-19My family loves Red Lobster. I always look forward to the cheddar biscuits but this time it was a bit disappointing. They werent as fluffy and soft as I remembered. They were a bit soggy. It took forever for the food to come out as well and the restaurant wasnt as busy. It was also freezing cold! A bit uncomfortable for dining in. But our waitress Shannon was so kind and provided us with excellent service. Even though the food took a while, it was all very delicious.

2022-04-04Just to start, the biscuits had a hair. The service is not what we expected. My meal was the worse. My husband had the $35 meal with tiny scallops and shrimps. I had the sesame-soy salmon bowl that I am adding the picture for it. It came all burned, nothing like the advertised picture. I don’t know how they can present a plate like this to the customers. Barely some salad, and all burned food. The waitress said, oh that’s how the Brussels sprouts are supposed to look?? She exchanged them for broccoli. This restaurant changed a lot. It was way better before. Never again.

2022-07-03Had a wonderful lunch this afternoon at Red Lobster. Our server was top notch - very friendly, knowledgeable and kind. Our meals were delicious and presented so nicely. When we put our order in the server apologized for one of our choices which was not available. We ordered something else instead. Shortly after that she returned to the table and told us as she was putting our order in and mentioned we had asked for a certain shrimp entree that it had come in and was now available. So everyone got what they really wanted. Wonderful service - good prices - ample serving sizes. Wonderful dining experience!

2022-05-28Our server was amazing..I think her name was Sharise, we were a table of 10 and she was just great! Our food was really tasty, except the Alfredo linguine was overly salty (that was taken care of too, with substitutes, no hassle). Lobster, scallops, salmon and shrimp were fabulous. Steaks were cooked just right. The strawberry daiquiris were amazing!

2022-03-01Had a great time here with my husband. The food was great, tasted on point and the leftovers were just as good.Really the high point of the meal was our server, Debbie. She was absolutely fantastic, funny, prompt with refills and gave great recommendations on the menu. If you can, try and request her service!

2022-04-24Went to red lobster, 4-22-2022, with friends. we always gone to red lobsterfor over 35 yrs. a least. We go there for Birthday, anniversarys, retirement, valentines, and for some their specials offer. The server was pleasant got in right away. Place was dead on a Friday night unbelievable, but after the awful dinner we all had to agree, we know why we got in so quick. let telling you burger king, mac Donalds, pizza or sub would have 120% better WORST meal ever. We all agree the four of us, not to go back there ever again we use to love Red Lobster, not anymore. yuck yuck

2022-06-14I went to different RL restaurants in NJ, this place in NY tops them all in the taste and freshness of the food, let alone the service.I was first put off by the way we were received, since there was nobody at the reception desk, and when the young man came, he didnt make us feel like we were welcomed. And when i paid, i wanted a printed receipt, which didnt print at the table, and neither i found anybody to talk to when i was leaving. So, these 5 stats are for the chef, people of the kitchen, and the nice welcoming waitress Kate/ Katey.
