My parents used to camp here. Its nice place is youre looking for that neat, manicured, perfect Stepford-Like camping experience, with lots of wine. With so many rules like an HOA, youre not allowed to show your own personality or style. If you hate others styles, then this is the place for you for you cant even hang out a towel to dry. The previous owners are now members of the resort which I could tell, was a smart choice.
Very nice well maintained campground. Right across from the Erie Canal. Very quiet. Staff very friendly. Great for bike riding, and walking. I guess they do usually have an activity or 2 going on but nothing while we were there. Nice playgrounds for kids. There is an old rock quarry there which formed some pond areas and they have a little sandy beach there which is nice. The water is a bit murky with some algae so I really didn’t feel like I wanted to swim in it. But kids were splashing around in it and having fun. They have free row boats and paddle boats and a kayak you can take out on the pond. They provide the lifejackets. There is fishing which my husband tried multiple times and said there wasn’t much fish in there other than sunfish. It was very pleasant to walk around the park which has many seasonals. People were friendly and I must say the sites were immaculately and beautifully maintained with many flower gardens and decorations. There were two bath houses at each end of the park as well as laundry facilities and they were very clean. The far end of the park has a volleyball area as well as basketball and soccer area. And there is a large gazebo and pavilion back there. Lovely park. Only drawback is there is no pool there.
I’d love to review my stay but I was not allowed to make a reservation because I don’t have “an RV”. I have a class B RV. Not a tent. Two things, I have money for their service and I don’t have a pole up my backside. Good luck staying in business when you have The Wicked Witch of the West answering the phone.
All I can say is wow. We were there for a family reunion and our family is far from being obnoxious people. If rules are your thing then this is the place for you. If you like rude check in person then this is the place for you. If you like cameras all over than this is the place for you. Only good thing to say is the place is clean. We have camped at many private campgrounds and this place I would not return or recommend. Camping is suppose to be fun.
What a horrible experience! Firstly its overpriced. We set up a tent for $35 a night on our friends site who paid $47 a night for their RV. Apparently someone threw toilet paper around the bathroom and outside of the bathroom. They came to our site claiming it was the 3 kids in our group that had done it. Their proof was camera footage of them entering and exiting the bathroom. However, they had no footage from outside identifying who it was nor did their footage show them leaving with toilet paper. We were told they know everyone in the park that was staying there and it couldnt have been anyone else. How rude! This is supposed to be a kid friendly park? We were asked to leave because toilet paper was thrown around and their assumption was it was our kids because it couldnt have been anyone else. They kept our money for the nights we couldnt stay. Wouldnt it have been more friendly and mature to say there was a problem and were not sure if it was your kids or not but if there are more issues then youll be asked to leave? Instead they chose to humiliate us, ruin our vacation and keep our money. We were quiet and respectful the short time that we stayed there. I want my money back!
I wish I could say I had a better experience here, but the taller lady at the front desk (wasn’t able to catch her name, I just know it wasn’t Phillis) was just extremely rude. While filling out the paper to allow my family to come for the day I didn’t realize you needed to write the license plates down, so I asked her if she’d like me to fill out a different form for the one family member who was driving a separate vehicle. After she scuffed at me, rolled her eyes, she followed with a very rude “don’t you think that would be the logical thing to do” I wish I could say I had a better time but after multiple bad encounters with her, I will not be returning.
It is sad to say with such a gorgeous campground That it Is the most unwelcoming campground around. Come to find out we were under their cameras that were constantly focused at our campsite. They were constantly coming to check on us to make there presents known. At one one point my husband came back from on event and his bright green tag on the dash board. The new owner came running out all in a panic bc he could not see it. I could see it from the beach area with no problem. I thought with new ownership things would be different there, but I have to say it is worse. If you like to camp and travel I would not recommend this place at all. There are so many other places that are friendly and welcoming.
This is an RV park and nothing else. We were biking the canal from Buffalo to Rochester and stopped here for the night, being told that they allow tents. It was crazy expensive, $25 per tent ($75 for our party) and we didnt even get a site, they stuck us in a back corner by the matinance sheds. Its fine that they didnt have sights but $25? Thats ore per night than I pay most places and get a full camp site with a fire pit and everything. It felt a little like a rip off but we had no choice.Facilities are good and the place is nice. If I were them I would look into supplying tent campers with an actual site if they are going to charge that much. Dont recommend for through travelers, but it seems nice for RVs.
Beautiful campground. Facilities are clean and well maintained. Staff is friendly. Has a pond for swimming, fishing and boats. This is an old quarry, so there are three different ponds for fishing. This is located on the Erie canal, so there are miles of trails for biking and jogging.
I guess Red Rock are about the money! I did everything right, emailed them, told them the dates, waited for their response. They emailed me while I was at work, saying its their last site. Before I could see the email and had a chance to call them back Phillis gave it away!! That shows me that they have no customer service and just want money.Good luck to who snuck in and took the spot! Word of mouth can be a powerful tool!!
First lets be honest, Red Rocks is not a RV Resort, it is a campground, an OK campground but not a resort. it is well maintained with nice sites. A bit pricey especially if you want 10 or 12 family members for a picnic. If you are planning on being a seasonal resident, you better check with the bosses on how often you must be there. 5 families were evicted this year because We werent there often enough. Now warning, no conversation, just a registered letter, nice huh. All of us had been maintaining our sites and we paid in advance, makes sense to me. Also make sure that you join a clique as soon possible or you will treated as a an outsider. One last thing, the owners(?) smile a lot, but then so do crocodiles.
This is an amazing campground. The place is very well maintained. The owner is always out and willing to talk, he is very friendly. The seasonal site people are also very friendly and willing to talk and they always wave. They always have different activities going on here. The place is really great. This is a very nice campground.

2021-08-15A nice and relaxing place to stay a night or for a period of time. Lots of amenities and things for kids of all ages. Most of park dedicated to long term stays, but ample room for short stays too. Quiet an peaceful during evening hours. A great place to hang out while exploring the upstate area.

2021-09-06Stayed here as a Bicycle tourist while riding the Erie Canal. The campground is right next to the canal. There wasnt a late check in option that we saw (we didnt make reservations) but we were able to be checked in after hours by the camp host Max. I think he must have saw us riding around looking for a tent area because one of the residents that helped us said thre is video all over the resort. The bathrooms & showers were clean - I dont think the showers are used much since most residents have what look like seasonal RVs parked here

2021-07-05The park was well maintained and the seasonal site owners took great pride in their site appearance. There were several activities over the 4th of July weekend. On the down side, some of the staff in the office are very short with guests. I dealt with a couple different folks in the office, upon my check in the lady was helpful and friendly. When I went up to pre-pay for my guests, the lady in the office was not welcoming or very helpful. Just putting it out there .... We talked to the office about reserving for the 4th of July 2022, they wanted complete payment for the 3 night stay. I am not sure, if we would stay again.

2022-05-08First trip of the year last weekend, which was their opening weekend. This campground has their act together. Sites have plenty of room and the fire rings wont scorch your neighbors trailer. Visit Brockport for shopping, food and cheers.

2021-05-22Sites have full hookup, large level sites, cable TV and good wifi and nice laundry facilities. Staff extremely nice. Even though it is around 8 miles outside Brockport where the best shopping is, it is well worth it. Would highly recommend and will stay here again when we come north.

2022-07-02We got here..turned on our water.. noticed a flood..within 10 mins we had 3 gentlemen fellow campers at our door working on it..fixed it.. Within a hour I went to flush the toilet..the foot pedal valve behind the toilet was cracked.. another flood..Again our neighboring camper was right over...We had to go get a part from campers world..came back and he came right over and fixed it... When wanted to pay..we were told its what campers do.. bathrooms are clean, people have been so very kind..Possibly see a permanent spot here in our future.

2017-08-26Amazingly clean and lots of trees around the sites. People are very friendly and helpful. We were in a site near the front and had a beautiful grove behind us for the dogs and us to enjoy. Right across the street from theErie canal trail.
