They really need to renovate the place. Went there to see a movie for the first time in years and i hear the movie in the next room. The heat turns on and you cant even hear the movie because its so loud. The seats are old, we have two nicer theaters on the island that have recliners with leather seats. I dont see any reason of going here until they clean it up
Nice! Mostly clean ( except for a few of the seats - look before you sit ). Its usually busy, so allow time for standing in line at the snack/drink counters. They do have security. They dont have reclining seats, but theyre comfortable. They also dont have the movie names or movie posters displayed at each entrance, ( so you know that youre walking into the right room ), just a number. The parking lot is sort of trashy and definitely stinky, but that has more to do with the locals/customers, than the movie theater staff. Plenty of free parking in a big lot. Enjoy!
This place seems like a nice theater. Im sure it was very busy before Covid and in its Heyday, but unfortunately now it is very quiet. When I had gone, I was the only person in the whole theater. I understand it might be due to covid. I recommend it because of covid, that you might be able to go to a place which has relatively empty seating. It has comfy chairs, but they are not the reclining type.
The stuff who works in this place are really slow. They just don’t know how to serve a customer. I ask one of them if I could bring a drink from outside he said no and cuz of that I have been waiting for 30 mins to get only one drink. Honestly I would not recommend you guys to wait if you willing to stay come earlier.
I had such a great time. They truly enforce providing vaccination card. A man before me pulled out cash to bribe a staff member to let him in then waved the cash to the camera, but Regal UA staff sternly refused the customer. That made me feel safe to enter the theater and enjoy my movie. And on an even brighter note, I asked the staff if they were selling the Shang Chi movie poster they previously hung, the staff said no, but called the manager over to ask about it. The manager graciously rolled it up and gave me the poster to take home! What an amazing night. Thank you!
I wrote a review in the past. The theater played a showing of Waynes World. It took me right back to high school, being able to recite each line, getting chills. The anticipation of Bohemian Rhapsody starting up just was priceless. My only advice to the theater was advertising the showing. There werent many people in the theater. It would be wonderful if some movies would be shown now with the growing excitement and hope of getting back to doing the things people miss. These last couple of years have been tough.
This has always been a consistently good theater with a large parking lot. Concession is absurdly expensive, as is true of most theaters in NYC.Not as comfortable as The Atrium, but there are more film options here. I’d suggest using an app to avoid box office lines, as it’s located outside.
It’s an excellent theater. I hope they do some updating. My only pet peeves about this theater is that they need Lazy Boy recliner seats and a liquor license. Believe me, alcohol and movies can go a long way. Other than those two things, the staff is friendly and professional. The theaters are always spick and spangly clean. The service is terrific.
Recently went there to view Dont Breathe 2. Was surprised at how few people were in the theater. I believe it was 7 people in total.Funny that during a pandemic we are watching a movie called Dont Breathe. The staff is still super friendly and the concession stand is still expensive.
The staff is very friendly and funny. They greet you with a smile and give you your popcorn with a smile. The seats are a comfy retro 1970s leather that is very nostalgic. It was super clean inside the theater. The bathrooms are also very close -unlike some Mamhattan theaters where the bathroom is on another floor- so you wont miss too much of the movie if you have to run and do your business.
Today I went to see Aladdin with my 2 children and it was a great movie; however the theater was under staffed on a Saturday evening, which makes no sense!! On one of the busiest days of the weekend there were only 4 registers open to serve the evening rush which caused long lines and long a wait time at the concession stand then when I was finally ready to order I was told that 1/2 of the stuff I wanted they did not have available, and was asked to come back after the rush if I liked. I was so disappointed and really hope they get their staffing levels increased for the weekend business that way they will move more smooth and efficiently and their guest can enjoy the full experience they pay for.
Me and my husband had a wonderful experience at the Regal Movie House. From the Senior Discount at theTicket booth to the person who took our tickets to the staff at the food stand and the Invisible Man movie was very good. The place was clean our seats were good .. we felt safe and comfortable. Thank you.
Not bad. Admittedly, returning to these seats after having gone to Atrium for so long may have given me hemorrhoids. But unlike Atrium, you are granted unlimited refills for large popcorn. It was a little chilly and the volume of the motion picture was a little low, but nothing unbearable. Seats are bountiful, which indeed is a massive plus. Its a quintessential movie theater, what more or less can I say?
Didnt like the chairs at all. They were very dirty and probably never cleaned in years. Been to couple of AMC theaters and there regular or reclining chairs are great and for a standard show price is couple of dollars more, which is not bad at all. They must spend some amount on the cleaning or renovation.
Went to the movies yesterday to see the peanut butter falcon. The movie was awesome. Very serious when it needed to be and very funny throughout. I love this theater because its usually pretty quiet, they play a lot of movies that some other theaters dont play and the popcorn is always nice and hot. I paid $30 for two tickets but didnt have anything at the concession stand because I had eaten dinner just before the movie.
Ive been going to this place for years. Always have a good experience. Its pretty well maintained. The variety of snacks is fresh & good, popcorn is hardly ever salty or stale cuz theyre always popping it. Its crowded on weekends and at peak times like summer and holidays. Parking is sufficient for the crowds and free. Street parking is also available. Seating in the theatres is comfy and clean. The staff, including security and management, is always available and ready to assist with any issues, questions or requests you may have.
This is my first time here. Nice and clean. People who work here are very nice too. I read a few reviews and found them not fair at all. Seats are comfortable and clean. Screen and sound system is good. Price? I dont think it is expensive. This is our island and we have to support local business. Nobody wants to drive to Brooklyn or Manhattan for a movie. You have got five plus stars from me.
We had a fun trip to the movies! Popcorn was good and they had options such as hot dogs, cheeseburgers and fries. A few games to play while we waited and very friendly staff. Most important to us was that there is a large parking structure. Definitely stop by with the kids or on a date.
This movie theater is my go to on Staten Island. They have clean nice theaters, friendly staff, and a great rewards program. I always use my points to get a free small popcorn and then upgrade it to a large. You only pay the difference which is $2! What this theater lacks in fancy updates they make up for by being a constantly good place to see a movie. Never too crowded, easy to get to, and comfy.
Its a large multi room movie theater with reclining seats. They have a large selection of food choices so arrive early to buy snacks. However, the food service is VERY slow. The good thing is when you purchase your tickets you are given a choice of seat selection. So no worries about holding seats or rushing.
The place is nice is just that the setup for it can be a mad house. Just went to go see Endgame and you have to buy your food before you enter the theater so now you have a huge line of people trying to figure out what they want then while youre balancing your phone with everything else you bought trying to show your ticket to the ticket taker. The bathrooms are also on before the ticket taker so do not lose that ticket just in case. Outside of that the theater is not bad.
I guess since we went at the end of the day, we have seen many food remainings around, pop corn was left on the floor. Maybe they didnt have chance to clean between sessions.Screen and the sound was not impressive. But it was ok for the movie we watched. It wasnt crowded at all while the movies at the mall was full.
Nice theater if you want to take the kids to a place during the day or during their summer vacation. Does not get crowded. 3 visits so far for Spider Man Far from Home, Fast and Furious and Angry Birds 2. Barely no one there at all for all of my 3 visits with a 3:30pm movie time. Food sucks and is over priced but Im thinking thats all theaters. I paid $11 per child. Child that was 2 years old was allowed in for free. AC worked well. One child said she was cold. Eh. Will return if Im in the area. Bring your own food and snacks. But thats obvious.
Havent been to the theatre here at United artists since it was regal cinemas. There last movie I saw there was Wanted. The wife, kid and I saw Aladdin yesterday. Little long on the 🍿 line but thats to be expected. Never realized how much the auditorium stinks like old stale butter. Anyway, kept getting kicked in the back of the chair throughout the entire movie. Im 6 tall and didnt touch the chair in front of me once. The kid behind me wasnt even 4 tall. Talk about on purpose.
The Forest Ave location is a standard theater- some chairs could use some updating and cleaned as well as the rugs in the theaters. The price for a standard theater ticket is high compared to the newer theaters that offer more. Picking seats when you purchase tickets is nice, though the aisle and numbers are not lit so finding the seat is difficult. The location is convenient, clean and staff is nice.
Decent theater, and far better than dealing with venues in Manhattan or or Brooklyn. However, often the food I order from their menus is unavailable, and on a few occasions it has taken forever to get the order -- 15 minutes for a burger. Had they warned me this would take time I would have ordered something else. The theater I was in hadnt been cleaned before the movie started, and when the movie was over the lights came up and the cleaning guy asked us to get out before the credits were done. Restrooms are clean and the staff tries, if not always succeeds. Go off peak times for a better experience. I like coming here because its less crowded than others, but if this continues I may go elsewhere.
Big theatre, seats are average movie theatre seats, slow concession stands, gotta stand outside to purchase tickets unless you do it online, seen people have to stand in the driving path in the parking lot, did not like that. When a theatre has to have a uniformed police officer standing guard every day I figure its got to have a real problem with crime or enough problematic situations to need one, and even though I like seeing police, and its great that the theatre is addressing whatever issue they have, seeing they need an officer makes me wary of bringing my family to this theatre. In a pinch I go to this theatre, but prefer the atrium on Arthur kill road.
Took my family to see a childrens movie. The line to purchase tickets is disorganized. The lobby where you wait to order popcorn etc. is a mess.... popcorn debris everywhere. I asked the manager to replace the butter he just looked at me and walked off.At first I started to get ready to a chew his ass off but I thought about my family, so I ignored him and went to the other machine.Movie theatre ownership groups wonder why the industry is about to die.... its not just piracy. Its the B.S. us customers have to deal with and your snack prices are outrageous.
Years ago it was one of the nicer theaters on Staten Island. Not anymore. Stopped going there. Overly over priced snacks and less than clean seats. When you enter a room the first thing you notice is the undesirable smell.Wish the place would improve, so the quality would match their high ticket and food prices.
Stadium seating Style with approximately 16 theaters. Get very dirty and needs to be cleaned thoroughly. Prices of high not only for concessions but also for tickets. They also have a police officer stationed there so how safe can it be? Not even a family bathroom and they search your bags!
The food is expensive and there are a few arcade games and a booth but you need cash for them. There are many screens which is nice and the seating is pretty comfy... Its cool in the summer and they heat the place a little in the winter. I buy my tickets online and go through the door and they scan it for you and let you in. The employees are alright I havent had a bad experience yet.
I grew up going to this movie theater, I moved away and when I visited this theater recently to see Aladdin, it is still that same theater, but better food and drinks, better options overall. They have a big parking lot and a pretty good selection for food like hot dogs, pizza, burgers, corn dogs, chicken sandwiches, fries, chicken tenders, popcorn, candy, ice cream, Coke drinks and more.
Ive been here many times, have not had any significant issues, as this is one of the better theaters on the island. The RPX Experience here really does make a difference, and is worth it for the more comfortable seating alone. The Concession stand isnt always the smoothest of experiences, can be a bit slow at times, though the free refills are a huge plus. Its as clean as youd expect from a movie theater, and the parking lot is graciously spacious. Know that its the hardest theater to get to without a car on the island.
Visited several times this year. The first time was for a special screening of My Fair Lady one of the best movies ever. The film was spoiled by an unattended cell phone blaring on and off for the first 15 minutes. After the intermission, the house lights stayed up for about ten minutes once the movie started again. The second time was recently, for Dumbo That turned out better.
This theatre would deserve the above 5 star rating if they did SOMETHING to stop people from talking during the movies. I understand that enforcing common courtesy on Staten Island is an uphill battle, and if I worked there, I probably wouldnt think it was worth it to risk getting into a physical altercation by asking another grown up to behave themselves (as this would almost certainly result in some form of confrontation). Nevertheless, its a pretty consistent problem with this theatre, and management doesnt seem to be too concerned.
We finally did the monthly plan for unlimited movies. If you go twice a month it is worth it. With a few good movies out now and scheduled releases early next year it was a good time to do it. Saw Ford v Ferrari (#1 this weekend) and plan on seeing Dr. Sleep during the week. The Irishman when we can set aside half a day. . . and so on!
One of the worst customer service experiences I have ever encountered in my life. Not Only did they make the mistake of not giving us a matinee discount. They refused to admit they were wrong. Instead They became argumentative and rude. If you like long lines and no sense of urgency by employees. Cold popcorn and flat soda. Then you will like this theater. 😫
My favorite theater on Staten Island. I love the Stadium seating, allow for everyone to see well, and the building has a nice look to it. Anytime Ive have a problem with someone talking during the movie, a manager promptly took care of it. This is the only place I go to see movies. The reward system is also great, letting me get points quickly. Anyone with a Costco membership can buy 2 tickets for $20 to let you save when you on weekends.
Someone told me that it is better than my regular theater, so we decided to try it out. I probably wont experiment anymore, because:* The popcorn line was INCREDIBLY slow. We had only one person in front of me, and we seriously stood there for 15 minutes. The cashier was walking slow, moving slow, talking slow. Everything slow.* The actual theater was FILTHY. Piles of garbage everywhere. Just gross.* My seat was ripped.* Some theater employee decided to go fix something near the screen using a flashlight in the middle of the movie.* The popcorn tasted stale and they dont even put butter for you, you have to go stand in line again at the one and only butter pump. It was also stale. One star because the layout of the theater made it so you never have to worry about someones big head blocking your view.
Arrived at the theater at exactly 3pm with my 6 year old son, asked for 2 tickets to the 330 showing of lion king. When we got inside I realized they had given us tickets to the 3pm rx showing in another theater. I dont know if the prices are the same but it wasnt what I wanted. We quickly purchased a large popcorn and soda (ridiculous @$18 for two items) and made it to the theater for the last few previews. On the way out I stopped by concessions to get a refill and had the manager/security hovering as if we were going to try to sneak in to another movie. Not the best cinema experience.
Nice and comfortable theater. Has a pretty big parking lot so thats a good thing. The quality of service is pretty good. They play movies of all genre and languages. I am from India, they do play Indian movies. So thats a bonus for me. The late night shows are pretty nice, not crowded and good atmosphere.
We went to an rpx 3D movie and the 3D was off 3-4 people left to tell them to fix it including myself and I also asked they rewind it to the beginning since we all missed it. They told me no problem after 5 minutes of no 3D they fixed it but didnt rewind it. Why do I have to leave the movie and miss the beginning to remind staff to turn on the 3D in the most expensive seat they sell?
We come to this theater about 3-5 times a month. Almost every time halfway through the movie a group of teenagers wanders in and proceeds to make phone calls and talk through the rest of the film. Absolutely 0 security at this theater, people roam freely in and out. Completely ruins movies. They need to have someone standing in front of each wing of screening rooms, at least that would stop SOME of the wandering packs of teens and keep them to one side. Time to find a new movie spot.
Nice theater usually doesnt get to busy. Only problem is they dont tell you that some food options take 10 minutes. Had to find out the hard way after I paid and had to get it cancelled because I was already on previews. But no big deal overall theater is clean and seating is available
Disgusting smell in the 4th cinema room. We waited a long time for the film Venom and arrived early. From the moment we entered the hall, the smell of urine was everywhere. And the chairs are a little wet. I called the manager, but he claimed that there was no smell. And offered to return the money, though they detained $ 6. It is sad that employees do not even admit their guilt and do not follow the sanitation of the hall. Im not talking about the fact that they did not even apologize for the inconvenience. Never go there again! Don’t recommend to anyone!!!
It used to be the premier theater on the island but is slowly falling apart while other theaters are improving and more are coming. The theater we were in was overly heated, chairs were in poor condition and it had a funk that was probably caused by the excessive sweat of people in the hot theater. I am pretty sure I made my last trip here u til I hear things are better.
I enjoy watching movies at this theater but particularly yesterday, my friend was trying to watch Avengers: Endgame with me and a group of friends. We bought our tickets the week before the time but my friend accidentally placed his ticket on the day before instead of yesterday. Granted that was his fault even trying to explain to the nice manager and wondered if we could exchange the ticket to yesterdays time but the box office said that the time for Avengers was all sold out. The only fault I find is that there were still empty seats in the theater even though they said they were sold out. There was still a couple of empty seats in the theater and no one have sat on them the whole entire time. If possible, I hope you guys find or make a system that helps to keep track of the seats and make sure that those people who bought their tickets are going to see the movie rather than just collecting tickets. It upsets me and my friends that my friend couldnt see the movie because it said its sold out but there were empty seats available. I do understand its a popular movie at the time, but I hope you guys can consider this.
On the higher end of movie pricing. Standard stadiums are mediocre in sound quality when compared to their RPX stadium. Surround sound not as immersive. Overall not worth the expensive price whereas IMAX in Elizabeth is comparable in price and much better in quality. But its a decent location thats been there for a long time.
Good service and lots of theaters and seating. Snacks are good, not great, but EXTREMELY expensive here. Expect to pay a lot for a movie and even more for snacks. Ive been to quite a few different movie theaters and this one was by far the most expensive. Other than that, though, its a very nice movie theater.
The theater itself is pretty good - stadium seating and many screens are nice features. As is the case with most modern movie theaters, the concessions are exorbitantly overpriced. Also, parking is sometimes an issue at night with bigger releases. However, there arent many alternatives on Staten Island, so if you want to go to the movies, this is probably your best bet.
Horrible service!! I went yesterday to see a movie that started at 4:05pm. I arrived at the movie theater at 3:30pm. There was about 50 people on line to purchase tickets just to get in! 1 cashier!! Did I mention that the line is outside?! And it was cold yesterday! The kiosk’s machine line inside was about 25 people that got stuck on stupid when it was their turn. Got to the window at 4:00pm and the one cashier at the window told me to give him a few minutes!! I missed my movie and had to purchase tickets for the 7:05 showing. When I went back at 6:30pm thank god I had my tickets already! The line inside to purchase popcorn was about 25 people! Ridiculous! And that’s because they have a bunch of kids working there that don’t care about doing their jobs with pride! Horrible Horrible service!!!!
Read some of the reviews, If people took their garbage to the garbage cans Instead of leaving it in the aisles and near the seats- the theaters Would-be much cleaner. People have to take more responsibility for their own actions. The tickets and the food are expensive but if people do the right thing the theater experience could-be much better. Everybodys quick to blame management take some responsibility people . Dont show up 10 minutes before the movie starts and then complain about having to wait in line.
My favorite movie theater on the Island. Offers a lot of Showtime and options. The movie theater has all upgraded sound and projectors so the movies are definitely worth watching. Also during the weekdays its not as busy, so if you enjoy some peace and quiet then during the week is the best to go.
Prices are too high..second time I pay for movie and I watch it with the lights on until staff remembers what movies there playing that night. Place is quite dirty staff is clueless but very friendly would blame management for the clueless part haha. Food is meh and movies are advertised correctly. Would recommend the nj theatre would cost the same for a better experience even with tolls you still get a nice drive pass the bridge lol.
Rude nasty ghetto worker at the consession stand. She was extremely disrespectful when asking about food and drinks and tried to charge us extra. Manager had to come in and finish transaction but she barely acknowledged us either. I would never come to this theater again. Which is a shame because I always bring groups of people. Tomorrow I will be going back to the Atrium for our next movie. I dont understand how the management laughs at their workers being nasty and ignores guests. Disgusting behavior. And we couldnt receive a smoothie tonight because the woman said Im not making a smoothie right now very lazy and ignorant to customer service.
Good theater, but it could use a little better cleaning at times. We normally go to Menlo Park, but this one is more convenient. During a kids movie, there were some people, ummm, enjoying each other a little too much, but luckily an employee came by before it got too out of hand
Outdated movie theater that is on par with the Alpine in Bay Ridge Brooklyn. The RPX is a regular movie theater and costs $18.00 a ticket. This theater had no completion for years, so they overcharged on everything. The staff is awesome and always friendly. Skip this movie theater and head to the AMC at the SI mall.
Screen is very small compared to normal screens. Its like watching a 75inch tv at the living room. The bedchairs are noice, but theres too much annoyong little brats, there should be a guy who kicks people put who speak during the movie. Also, they dont shut off all the lights which is incredibly annoying, especially if you sit next to it. And lastly, the sound system is terrible, its very quiet, its not how a cinema should be. Cinema is known for big screen and big sound. Also, tickets are more expensive here than other places. So in short, this place is a dump (not literary, cuz its very clean)
Today I went to the 4pm showing of the A Quiet Place movie. There was just one cashier! There had to be at least 30 people on line to purchase tickets. Just pure incompetence and badly run management. In addition, this place typically has only 1 or 2 cashiers to purchase drinks , popcorn etc.. I would stay away from this movie theatre.
I cannot wait for the AMC to open up on Staten Island. I had already starting going to the Linden theater in Jersey more than this theater because it usually smells horrible and I cant stand it. But now that they have this stupid pick a seat system, Im out! I print my reduced cost pass through Working Advantage, which means I need to stand in line at the box office to get an actual ticket. Ugh! People have to select a seat now and you cant imagine how much longer this takes at the window. My only other option is to pay full price and go inside to the kiosk where its still a massive decision for people to select seats. I suppose theyre doing this to stop people from walking into movies they didnt pay for, but this isnt going to stop that as much as its going to stop people from going to this theater all together.
Theres a couple of screens that need repair or replacement. Screen in Theater 13 is pretty bad. Ventilation knocking on the back left of theater 11 makes it hard to concentrate on the movie. Most of the theaters have a urine smell. And finally most of the armrests have lost their cushion and are flat and worn out badly. On a good note, when youre in the better screens and theaters there is good sound and good picture.
I got there ahead of time so I could get my ticket, use the restroom and a snack but I had to wait online because there was only one person at the window selling tickets and other goers who had no damn idea what they wanted to see which held up the line for everyone. I missed the damn previews too. I Express my frustration with the manager but it didnt seem to matter.
Use to come here on a regular basis as a teenager to watch the newest movies. There has been a steady decline of comfort at this theatre. If I want to watch the thursday night release of a new movie I have to be wary of what kind of movie and what kind of clientele itll attract. Then I need to find the right seating so I stay away from the people who just openly smoke marijuana in the theatre. Im all for you doing it in the comfort of your own home but for most of us who do not dabble in it, it is just a nuisance! Go to the Atrium instead and reserve some seats that recline, dont have to deal with the riff raff.
Today was my first time here and it was the last time. The smell in the theater was so bad,as soon as i walked in, it made me throw up, i had to leave the theater, and even it was the rpx theater, it was so disgusting. It smells like piss. Even the public bathrooms dont smell like this. I know my review and my money is not gonna hurt the theaters business, but it is to let people know that it is the worst theater i have ever seen.
This movie theater really went downhill. It looks horrible. The seats and floors are disgusting. Food all on the floors and the seats are so worn. They need to be replaced. Movie tickets are ridiculously high and so is the food. The customer service is usually good though.
I came here last night with my cousins in hope of having a good time....unfortunately it never happened. Since it took us about 40 mins to find a parking space, we all had to wait an entire HOUR for the next viewing. once it was time for us to head into theater 6 the place was reeking of urine!! It literally spelled like a group of grown men urinated all over the seats. At that point we were all completely disgusted and ready to go! I spoke with an employee to inform the manager for me, the idiot tells me he can send someone to try and freshen up...wtf hell no! I asked for the manger again, and once I spoke to her she was very kind and understanding. She gave us three vouchers good for any Regal theater. She was nice, but I will never go to this location again. Save your time and money!
My small family & I have been coming to this movie theatre since 2006, & everytime we have had pleasant experiences. It is generally cheaper than movie theatres in Brooklyn & DEFINITELY cheaper than movie theatres in Manhattan. For the ignorant comments, movie theatres dont pay high salaries hence there are young employees. However, just about all the employees at this theatre are well mannered & courteous.
Dont have a choice but to go here since its the only theater on Staten Island. If you plan on going to the concession stand and it happens to be an opening night or busy one, get there at least 45 mins early. Concession stand usually has only 2 or 3 people working in a busy day (1 on other days). Also you should arrive early to find parking cuz on opening nights the parking lot is packed and people end up having to park in the street or across the street in the Home Depot parking lot. Other than that, Lots of cool arcade games and its usually clean!
This place is grosse. Very dirty, tons of awful kids acting like idiots, totally unchecked. The service is awful as they only seem to hire people from the ghetto. at least the seats are relatively comfortable. unfortunately, it is the best theatre on the island. pretty sad.
Went to see a matinee movie here. My only complaint is that once your Regal card is worn out they will give you a new card with a new account number. That means you lose all you accumulated points. They only other option is for them to look up your account number manually by phone number. Time consuming! While there I got some pretzel bites and cheese on the side. They were good.
Sitting in line for 10 minutes just to get tickets, late to movie. Line into the street blocking cars, and they only have one register open. They eventually open up another line and instead of managing the split, they just let everyone run around and skip each other.
I came all the way from Queens to meet with somefriends and let me tell you, so much better than Queens movie theaters, loved it, very clean, super organized, pelntybof parking even for big cars and they have arcades inside as well, also the seats are cool, the auditorium we were had a table in the middle road, so if you go there try to be as close to the middle. Thabk you very much for having such a nice place.
Your typical movie theater. Be warned, the lobby is extremely cod to the point where my teeth started chattering (is that the word?) lol, as if they were chiclits. But once we got inside the actual theater, it wasnt too bad. Dont forget about your moving heater prices for popcorn, drinks, candy, etc. If you can bring in your own or whatever, please do so.
First time in 10 years i went to the movies and I was very disappointed. This movie theater was so messy. Food and garbage on the floor next to your seats. They need to hire more staff to clean if staffing in the problem. Tickets are way too expensive for this theater to be like this.
Screen was small. 16x9 aspect ratio instead of anamorphic. Sound was annoyingly loud but not particularly immersive. Expensive for a suburban theater in a middle class neighborhood.Families wouldnt keep their kids quiet. You know adults go to Pixar movies too? Most egregiously, absolutely no legal pedestrian access. No crosswalks. The sidewalk on the side of the theater abruptly ends. Literally the only way to get in or out without jaywalking is to take a bus. I had to run across a moderately busy road to get here. The theater ought to invest a few bucks in their community and get pedestrians access.Only mitigating factor is the comfortable seats.
Went to this theater to see a movie at 945 and was handed a 1040 ticket. When I asked about the ticket time the guy that greets you at the front said I had to pay more for the RPX experience. I informed him that my friend and I are Veterans and asked if we could just go in the theater. We had already purchased food and drinks. I was told to go back out front to pay more anyway. Really?!? I dont expect the world because I am a Veteran but $3 is that important? Not to mention the wrong ticket time was thier fault.
My granddaughter and her friends went to see bright burn, they said they saw black shadows running around the room!Their leg hair was coming up and they had goosebumps. They said nobody was in the movie theater except for them, then later on 2 people came in the theater, then they said that the people disappeared. They were very scared and will not be going back
Facility is typical but a disorienting maze of twist and turns. Sticker shock at the senior citizen ticket price over $11.00. Then disappointed again by overpriced and stale pretzel nuggets with melted cheddar cheese (next day I paid a price). Think Ill stick to outlier art-house cinemas. Fortunately, the well-advertised film was not the usual multi-plex shlock.Support the film industry and its JOBs. Dont purchase pirated copies from that gnome loitering outside your local CVS or supermarket. Have managers chase the thievers out of your McDonalds or taverns when they enter to purvey their stolen property. PIRACY is a crime.

2022-04-24Went to go see the bad guys. was pretty good! great popcorn and drinks and staff was patient and chill. the seats were pretty comfortable and the screen was wide enough. volume was good, you couldn’t hear other movies playing at all. loved it here! not too crowded either, so that was a relief. they have a wide array of foods here as well.

2022-01-08I just love this place so much. Its so cozy and comforting - I always feel at home there. Theres nothing like watching a movie in the theater on the big screen. No matter what movie you see, its always great to be in the stadium with the reclining seats, the smell of popcorn filling the air, and the feeling of being amongst other moviegoers with the same energy and excitement for what youre about to see. Its the best.

2022-04-29The place was mostly empty because people are not ready to go to theater yet. I enjoyed the movie and the popcorn and the slushy. This is my first time back in a theater since the pandemic. I’m happy I went

2022-06-12Youre better off going to the new AMC theatre at the Staten Island mall. They dont care enough about you to turn the AC on in the rooms so why give them the money? But if youve always wanted to watch a movie while roasting in a sauna, then this is the place to fulfill those dreams

2022-06-13Still beautiful and well maintained but since its not the only game in town, its far less crowded than that place at the mall, a nice place to take a date.

2022-05-28Im use to the A/C bumping but it wasnt. Theater is clean but had a musty, old smell to it. Saw Bobs Burgers and waited to the end of the credits to see the end scene and it appeared the protectionist cut the movie off mid-scene. Popcorn is as expected and soda was soda all at movie theater prices.

2022-05-31Comfortable seats. Clean. Nice staff. But expensive. $16.00 for the movie. $9.99 for large popcorn. $6.50 for a water.

2022-01-22Went on a Friday night, at first it was nice because the theatre was empty. But inside the theatre it was so dirty. And the movie was way too loud I’m not a Karen but, you can hear the other movies in different theaters playing. I’m not usually one to write bad reviews but I was really disappointed. We didn’t even stay to watch the movie. We paid and left. Kinda wish we got a refund
