This place is amazing the staff is amazing my daughter Kaylenna and husband Jodecy had there wedding here it was absolutely beautiful. The manager assistant Mr Ackmoss was wonderful and very professional. I highly recommend this place.
I Recently threw a Sip and See for my daughter at this Venue and the venue is absolutely stunning. I loved it as soon as I saw it. I did a walk-through and I didn’t look any further. The staff here is awesome. The communication is very on point. Whenever I had a question it was answered.I like also that they have chairs and plates, glasses, cups, and utensils that are really nice as a option. This place is a great option my guest loved it!!, they keep texting me about this place haha, It’s well designed naturally and it’s good if you don’t want to do a lot of decorating which was something I really wanted to avoid. The space has a lot of its own functionalities, Bluetooth speakers, air purifiers, central AC you can control, video display, super cool photo booth and more. You also get an event manager the day of just in case you have any hiccups they’re there to help. I would definitely recommend this space to anyone.
Came here for a friends wedding, we ended up getting kicked out. This review is strictly about our experience with the Host and not the Venue. The venue is fantastic and setup quite well and has everything they mentioned it would. Amazing place to have pictures taken.My friends held their wedding here and unfortunately it appears due to a miscommunication they were overcapacity. Akimoose kept harassing the groom all evening long even though there was a mention of KEEPING the deposit due to the over-capcity and allowing us to stay until the agreed upon time of 11pm. Even after having the excess people exit the venue Akimoose and the rent-a-security guard locked the entrance door while people were going in-out. The venue was rented until 11pm and we left at 11:01pm after cleaning up and tiding the place. He wanted everyone OUT of the venue by 10pm... um what?!The security deposit wasnt the issue - people get married once in most cases and you left a sour tastes in everyones mouth. Not to mention the 15+ influencers that attended the event. Needless to say I will NEVER recommend this place if you have over 20 guests cause they will literally go around counting >1 years olds towards the number. Go to any real wedding hall and they will literally tell you 4yrs or younger are not counted towards the total head count as they wont be taking up an entire SEAT.Judging by the recent review from another patron Im not surprised to see comments about the fake-woke akimose and his atrocious attitude. Hell speak to you condescending when you ask a basic question. To add insult on top of everything He decides to text the couple on their honeymoon about following his YouTube channel... after ruining their night....you cant be serious. Sounds like harassment to me.I recommended this place to the groom and bride after having pleasant experiences in the past while attending events for other friends. Will never make that mistake again.
Maybe I’m just the 1 out of 100, but my experience shooting here wasn’t the best. Aesthetically, this place is a true gem. However, the representative that met me… his name is Akhmose, must’ve woken up on the wrong side of the bed that morning as he barely made it to our call time to let us in. He only arrived on his bike 3 minutes prior (10:57am) to our start time (11am) and said he had to wait for the exact start time to let us in. Which was fine by us, we arrived early as we just wanted to make sure we were there on time as they were very strict with their check in and check out times. At 11am we came in. Akhmose says to us with a slight attitude that he would have let us in when he had the place ready. I responded by reminding him that we booked the Peerspace from 11am-1pm that day and it was 11AM on the nose. We had to prep, the model had to change while he was still in the space prepping it for us on our time. This is something that should’ve been handled well in advance of us arriving. One of my clients (without my knowledge) had brought champagne. Ahkmose brought it to my attention but said it wasn’t a big deal as it wasn’t a party and we were clearly adults. Eventually, he left when he was done cleaning at 11:20am. Nevertheless, we had a great shoot and made sure to leave the place tidy and check out on time never once asking for an extension.We thought we were going to have a good day and great things to say but unfortunately that wasn’t the case. The actual host Reuben called me later that evening after I asked him through Peerspace when he would send back the $250 deposit that was required to book. He had suggested prior that we should send it via cash app outside of Peerspace so it could be issued back to us immediately once they saw that there were no damages to the property. I’ve never paid a deposit outside of the app but because of all the reviews and how anxious I was to use the space I just did it. Big mistake… This was a problem, as he wanted to keep the deposit because of the bottle of champagne that his staff mentioned on site. The same staff person that arrived just minutes before our session and made us wait outside in the sun 90 degrees outside, had an attitude when we came in at our start time and didn’t leave until 20 mins in our session.He (Reuben) said he had to speak to the “owners” about it. Eventually he sent it back. But the overall experience left a sour taste.And for these reasons I myself wouldn’t book them again.Again, I don’t mind being alone on this hill. This was just my experience.
Great venue for events. They have 2 separate rooms, which are completely different, literally night and day. The place is spacious and well furnished. The 2nd room in the back has a photobooth.
REGENCY is absolutely beautiful, super clean and holds great energy. Everyone was so welcoming and I love how efficient they are with booking. We were able to shoot our content with ease. We will definitely be back!!
Had a wonderful time hosting my baby shower here. Was looking for a place where I can have a dance floor and a space for people to chill. Rashida was absolutely wonderful and so patient. The place is all about sustainability and made it so easy to do so
Planning a 1st birthday and approach dedication for my daughter in March. Had the property manager Atmos show us around. Very nice space to have a small gathering, photoshoot or community space. Love the aesthetics, cant wait to hold our event.
The space in person is even more stunning than the photos! Very easy to work with the team running the space -- they were responsive and helpful through the entire process.
My wife and I could have not asked for a better venue and staff to host our wedding this pass Sunday 9/19/021. It was nothing short of amazing. From beginning to end the regency team including Ruben and Ahkmose were soooooo instrumental in facilitating us while we planned our wedding in just 3 months. Ahkmose specifically is such a joy to work with. He is humble, supportive, and very hands on in helping in any way he can. We love him. The day of, the staff was armed and ready to assist. They made our dreams come true. The event space is sooooo beautiful and inviting for whatever vision you have. This space is amazing. Its spacious, gorgeous and versatile. My friends and I had a dinner party the sound system is amazing, they venue had all the utensils and dishes on hand. Our staffer for the day was Alejandro, he was just amazing. Very helpful and very professional. Hands down the best employee.
My daughter loved this place for her engagement party. This place is awesome! From the host to the workers I appreciate everything they did. Any questions I had they were willing and ready to help. Perfect space for my friend’s bridal shower! We barely needed additional decoration because the venue is already so beautifully decorated. The staff was extremely helpful as well.
I booked RE:GEN:CY for two filmed video interviews and couldnt have been more pleased! The artists I interviewed were impressed with each room! RE:GEN:CYs team (Reuben, Ashley, and Akhmose) were fantastic in all communication, both virtually and on site. I highly recommend booking a walk-through of the space before holding your event so you can get inspired because there are so many ways to use the space. It is a unique venue and anyone who books RE:GEN:CY will be glad they did!
Beautiful venue space! Regency provided their event space so we can host and film the first ever Congolese Womens Forum. Everyone had such a great time and kept raving about how beautiful the space was.We would definitely recommend booking if you are interested in this space. The space is beautiful! Any event or photoshoot you host here will be elevated because of it. I will absolutely use this space again. Im sure the photos from my maternity shoot will be stunning.
Regency was a beautiful venue and we thank God that given the rushed decision making and plans, was able to accommodate our wedding with a small gathering. The bookings manager, Reuben, was a pleasure to deal with from day1. Reuben always explained everything clearly, was quick to communicate back with all questions, and never once made my Fiancee and I feel like our personal questions were silly, nor made us feel nervous about asking a quick question or looping in another vendor to communicate with Regency. The staff onsite was also so easy to deal with. Alejandro, who helped us throughout our booking, was so enthusiastic, cheerful, and knew every aspect of the venue to make our already stressful day, less of a stress. We should all be in agreement that we need people to make things less painful and less stressful. Regency adheres to that. Those are all the formulas for a successful business. Dont think twice about booking with Regency. You will not be disappointed with both the aesthetics of the venue or the experience in your booking with them. Beyond a 5 star experience. Cheers.
We booked our small, COVID wedding here for last Friday and the day was perfect! We worked with Reuben to finalize booking and on the day of, we had the pleasure of working with Akhmose. They are both absolutely amazing folks and I would highly recommend this venue to anyone in need of an event space! Akhmose made sure everything was set up and helped us to make sure we had the right glasses, chair set up, everything! If I need to book any event again in the future, I will be calling REGENCY first! Thanks so much for helping to make our special day so memorable!!!

Porch Stomp hosted its free community dance and music event at RE:GEN:CY and we had a blast! It was the perfect space for the event, and all our attendees marveled at how interesting and well laid out the space is. The RE:GEN:CY team was very helpful and responsive, and I really admire what theyre working to create. Highly recommend!

Collaborating with Regency was exactly what we needed to do to give our event the feeling we were looking for. It was vibrant, yet soft and calm. It made you feel like you were in a very safe place. It brought vitality and instantly improved everyones mood. 2022-06-28We used RE:GEN:CY for an art gallery/music artist showcase and it was amazing! The staff was extremely helpful and the space was gorgeous. The sound and projection system was very easy to use. I also loved that this venue was environmentally conscious. I could tell from the moment I walked in that this space was perfect. The energy and vibes here are phenomenal. We had a great time and would 1000% book here again. :D

2021-10-13I had a baby shower here and I was impressed with the entire rental process and the event space. As soon as I inquired about renting the space the management was responsive and set up a tour of the place. They communicated all the booking details clearly and in a timely manner. On the day of the event, the manager was helpful and made sure that we had everything we needed. The space itself is really beautiful and everyone that came commented on how much they liked it. It was also really easy to decorate since the space is so nice already that we did not have to do much to prepare it. We were able to use the projector, sound system, and photo booth with no problems. After the event, we got our security deposit back quickly. The entire experience was wonderful and I look forward to renting this space again.

2021-08-11This was a cool space! Very industrial and I loved the painted, exposes brick. One half white, the lower half black, it was used as a wedding venue while we were there and then changed into the reception hall. Very versatile space and Im all about supporting locally owned businesses!

2022-08-24Starting with the private tour of the place, the hosts gave an extremely thorough rundown of the location. The space is very clean and I appreciated that there was composting and filtered tap on site. When I had an issue with a personal location agreement, the owners and hosts worked with me to get the issue resolved so that we could work together. As a film shoot, they allowed me to have the space to myself and I experienced no interruption, only help when needed. Both the black and white rooms are spacious and everyone on my crew agreed they were stunning. Would def recommend.

2022-02-22We had our wedding here, we loved the space, the vibe and the atmosphere. The rental included almost everything we needed. Management was very accommodating and responsive. Everyone we communicated with was kind and respectful to us. On the day of the event, everything ran as smoothly as possible. Our guests loved the space and the photo booth, it was one of the things that made the day so memorable. The kids couldnt get enough of the swinging chairs in the light room and fun lights in the dark room. After the event, we received a follow up call and got our security deposit back in a timely manner. I would definitely have another event here. It is a beautiful space meant for beautiful experiences.

2022-08-01An amazing space with great service. I was blown away by how beautiful the facility looked in pictures. The facility is even more amazing when you see it. We shot one scene for our short film. As we use location as a character in our movies, this location will enhance our product. On seeing our Dailies, the Cast, Crew and Producers have inquired about personal bookings and we will be booking our screening in the white room.

2022-06-15I booked this place for my 30th photoshoot and wow the place is even more beautiful in person. The host arrived right on time and took the time to walk us through the location. He made sure we understood how to set up music and change the lightning. They were accessible throughout the entire shoot in case any requests came up. The spot is also absolutely beautiful. The team made the experience seamless and memorable. Thank you for curating such a special space!
