The team in place was super friendly - there are several butlers who can assist with anything. They made our stay extra special by helping decorate for an anniversary staycation - rose petals and swan towels, etc. Lovely common spaces, lots of marble in the bathrooms - connected to the Jazzboline restaurant with a bar and lovely music.
Fantastic experience. My partner and I got the brunch and bliss package. The room was spectacular with comfy king size bed, large shower, and wonderful hospitality. We went to Jazzboline for dinner and brunch. Food was incredible. Would absolutely come back. The only bad remarks I can make are the bath robes that come with the package were back ordered and the bathroom was echo-y. But these do not stop me from giving a 5 star review.
This hotel has beautiful details that make it stand out from all the rest! The entrance is warm and welcoming. The front staff are kind and helpful. The room was lovely and the shower was super relaxing. We enjoyed the grab and go menu. I would say that there aren’t enough microwaves for every room to have one. This made it difficult to heat up food. I would recommend having guests “check out” microwaves to ensure that everyone has an opportunity to use it. Other than that we greatly enjoyed our stay and appreciated the hospitality. Thank you!!
We booked a two-night stay in a Traditional King Room for our 30th anniversary trip and had an absolutely amazing experience! The staff was welcoming, attentive and accommodating, and the service and fantastic food at the Jazzboline Restaurant next door should not be missed. The ambiance and feeling of stepping back in time is achieved through the fun and bright artwork, photos, and subtle interior designs (make sure to open the drawers). I could have spent hours exploring all of the details. The hotel and our room were also impeccably clean. The location made it very easy to drive to Niagara Falls, Frank Lloyd-Wright-designed homes and the Roycroft campus. Reikart House was truly one of the highlights of our trip.
This hotel is the last lodging I stayed at on a 10 day road trip, and it is by far the cleanest of all, which is amazing because the others I stayed at were clean as well, but this staff leaves no corner of the hotel ignored. The attention to detail in maintaining a healthy environment permeates the property, from the hand sanitizer stationed near the elevators to the spotless surfaces in the room. The bed hits the perfect balance between soft and firm, so sleep comes quickly. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Its obvious how important hospitality is to them.Even though the hotel is right off the highway, it feels like a million miles away from the hum and bustle of the road. Its a place that feels like one is able to retreat and for a few hours leave traffic behind. The staff at the restaurant adjacent to the hotel exhibited the same kindness that the staff at the hotel did. Outdoor seating is available at the restaurant, and the restaurants high standards for cleanliness parallels that of the hotel.
Have stayed here multiple times. Staff is great and the rooms are exceptional. It is also great to have one of Buffalo’s top restaurants attached to the facility. You can have great food and a perfectly mixed drink and not have to worry about driving. As a frequent traveler I typically avoid the hotel restaurants due to underwhelming menus and service but, Reikart House breaks that trend. This property is a 10 in all areas.
This is our second stay and it was as wonderful as the first. It is. Prefect location for our road trips picking up and dropping off our son at school. It is right off the highway but far enough to not hear it. The rooms are very comfortable. The attached restaurant is great. Seriously, it isn’t the typical sad roadside hotel restaurant. Lots of locals enjoying thoughtful cocktails and meals. The staff is super friendly and helpful. We look forward to many stays. I highly highly recommend this place and I don’t give praise easily.
We stayed overnight as a stopover location with our dog and the hotel is very dog friendly. Not many places for the dog to relieve themselves though. We arrived on a night when there was no food service and staff gave us some options of where to eat. Was disappointed that we had to go outside the facility for food. Glad there was coffee in the AM!! Hotel was clean, quiet and the bed was very comfortable-however, there was a spot on the sheets that had rubbed off so I tried to avoid sleeping on that spot.
When I needed to modify my check out time due to a last minute conference call Maureen was there to help. When my colleague and I arrived for check-in Tina and Marty went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Everyone we met were professional and genuinely lovely people who were eager to help-from housekeeping to the staff in the restaurant. I dont know where you found such a wonderful group of people but it must be a reflection of the hotel management.
I stayed two nights with my family of 4 and we had such a wonderful time there. We loved the beautiful atmosphere of this hotel. Very classy and luxury to the little detail and the room was very clean. The staffs were very nice and thoughtful. I want to mention this staff, Tina, she saw me mildly coughing at the lobby because the breakfast I was having went down the wrong pipe, she brought water from the front desk and asked I was OK. I felt great hospitality. Overall, 10/10. Very awesome.
We had such a nice weekend here. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The rooms are large and comfortable, the towels arrive rolled and packaged in a zipper bag. They thought of everything! A black wash cloth for make up removal, hair dryer, a wonderful working desk! I’ve stayed in several hotels in Buffalo and this surpasses all of them!
I stay at hotels about 6 times per month. Of all the hotels I use the Reikart if my favorite. Every person on the staff makes me welcome. The amenities (coffee machine in the room) the soap, the towels are first rate. The showers are fantastic.I love the restaurant. It is great both on site and for room service.I recommend the Reikart to all business travelers.
This hotel is top notch. It is close to the highway to get anywhere you need to. It is clean; the staff is welcoming; the decor is beautiful; etc. etc. etc! Jazzbolene restaurant is wonderful as well & convenient. This is one property that should not be missed! Cant wait to return.
Stayed at Reikart House for a number of days. Rooms were spotlessly cleaned. Housekeeping did light daily cleaning (much appreciated). While some services were suspended due to the pandemic, the staff was amazing. From Lucas, Tatianna, Marty, and many more each member had a smile on their faces. Location of the hotel was amazing, near great restaurants. Niagara Falls was about 20 minutes away.
We came into town to see a show on September 10. What a pleasant welcome by staff members and welcoming lobby. Our room was meticulously clean and stylish.. We will share this experience with friends and family. When traveling to the Buffalo area this will be our go to stay. Thank you.
Everything was great . Felt comfortable with how clean everything was. My only complaint is the lack of communication with the Packages you offer. Someone interrupted my stay at 12 even though I paid for a extended check out for 2. That’s was part of the package I paid for . Also the restaurant Jazzboline was confused about the package deal which includes their brunch . Manager had to be called over. It just seemed like knowone knew what was going on. Beautiful place over all. Next time I’ll just pay for the stay . The package seems like a great experience but honestly it just more of hassle explaining to everyone else every single detail. Too much confusion.
The staff was excellent, hotel and room were extremely clean. There are 2 issues I had, first of all if there are 2 guests you may want to have 2 robes in the bathroom and the other is with the attached restaurant jazzboline. Not truely attached, can only be accessed by walking outside.
The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating from the time we booked all the way to check out. We booked the Frank and Dolly suite to get ready for a wedding. The staff even helped us print a picture of our dad for the bride’s bouquet after we forgot ours at home. Couldn’t be more thankful for a beautiful place to get ready and staff that truly cares.
I had a great 5 night stay at the Reikart House in June 2021. I really appreciated the friendly and helpful staff, especially Tina and Jonathan. The bed was really comfortable and I slept well. The bathroom amenities were great. As a single traveler, I felt safe coming back to my room late in the evening. I had an excellent stay and would stay here again.
Really excited to discover this beautiful hotel in my hometown and not too far from family. Very comfortable and great service. Only area of improvement is room cleaning, we had to specifically ask that our rooms were cleaned (and it didnt always happen). Also waited an hour for a room service cocktail before cancelling. Pretty sure both these issues will be cleared up when COVID restrictions end and staffing is up. Looking forward to staying again on our next visit home.
My stay at Reikart was amazing. While the restaurant wasn’t as available as I’d like the overall cleanliness, amazing service (Thank you Tina), and attention to detail (ex: TV remotes are the dirtiest thing in a hotel room and yet they were disinfected and wrapped in plastic bags) was exceptional. My only complaint would be the cost per night for the rooms. It’s a beautiful property but 10-20% over priced. Regardless, I highly recommend Reikart House.
This was a welcome change to the standard chain hotels. Very quiet, older brick building, wasnt made with the cheap, paper thin walls and floors. And Double glass windows keep it quiet from outside noise. Prefer top floors, which is second floor at this hotel. Very prompt service. i wouldnt stay anywhere else if I ever get up that way again.
Pleasant hotel if your going to Niagara Falls or for business. We stayed there for two nights June 21 through June 23. The hotel’s lobby was elegant and its rooms were spacious and non carpeted. There is a gym, a restaurant on site, a patio, and a nice sitting/working area in the lobby. There is no swimming pool in the hotel. There is also a club level and grab and go breakfast (free if you are a platinum or higher member). There is no housekeeping as during COVID-19. If you are ever in Amherst, NY it’s a good hotel to stay in. Would definitely recommend!
A real gem of a hotel centrally located and full of whimsy!Beautifully appointed and something to see in every corner without being cluttered or ostentatious. The rooms were spotless and so well maintained and the bed was so comfortable we fell right to sleep.Had dinner in Jazzboline and was one of the best experiences we had in our entire trip.Gerry was an incredible server and the food was simply spectacular. We took his recommendations and everyone should!5 stars from these world travelers! A real gem in Western New York!!!Dylan and Lavinia from Los Angeles, California
I am writing this review from the most comfortable bed ever, in a Reikart House guest room. This was night #813 in a Marriott. When we pulled into the driveway, I wasn’t sure if this would stack up. It felt sort of average. Once I walked in the door, I was captured by the details. This may be my favorite Marriott property and room ever. Better than the Ritz in Half Moon Bay. Every single detail is fantastic. I feel like I’m closer to New Orleans than Niagara Falls.I don’t notice the details in most rooms until given the chance like at the Reikart House. I don’t want to leave. In addition to the finishes being perfect, the service is impeccable without being hoity or stuffy. I will return when I can spend a week!
From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome. Tina was very engaging and explained the Inns name history when she saw us looking at pictures on the wall. Tatyana in the morning exceeded our expectations providing coffee and tea when the rooms Keurig did not operate correctly. Everything extremely clean, nicely furnished, and well thought out touches from reading lights in beds to color changing house keeping alerts outside room. Sank into our very comfortable beds for a great nights sleep, very quiet environment despite close proximity to highway. Close to restaurants (the Inns was sadly closed that day) and a lovely after dinner walk in the park. Short drive in morning to Niagara Falls. Put this Inn on your list of favorite places to stay.
This is a beautiful small hotel with the most incredible staff you will ever meet. Its my favorite hotel Ive ever stayed at, anywhere in the world. It is clean, modern but classic, and makes a trip to Buffalo area great. The location is perfect for accessing nearly anything Western NY has to offer.
Stayed overnight - great location, quaint town. Not far from the highway, and yet you dont feel like you are close to it. The hotel was quiet (stayed Wednesday overnight), no slamming doors, the middle of the week I am sure is much quieter than weekends. Customer service was great, parking easy, I felt safe as a solo traveler. Unfortunately, I did not get a chance to experience the restaurant.
The hotel was lovely, as were the staff. After a very long week of driving it was a pleasure to sink into the wide and comfortable king sized bed, kick off my sandals and relax. The room was quite spacious and meticulously cleaned. The bathroom wonderfully accommodating and all the plugs for various devices nicely accessable.I learned through one of the staff members that the owner of the hotel also owns one of the local breweries. Which meant the beer I had was local, a win in my book.
The Reikart House remains our favorite hotel to stay out in the Buffalo area. The rooms are beautifully appointed, the staff is responsive and professional, and the common areas are fun and inviting. We have stayed here many times but this last visit was for a family event and it was great to share this hotel with others. We look forward to getting the lovely breakfast back in the future.
This hotel sets the bar high for all others. FIVE stars in all areas such as security, cleanliness, convenience, staff, food, etc. I travel 70% of the time and this was the very best accommodations to date. I will definitely stay here again and encourage everyone to do so as well. You will be pleased beyond expectations!
This was our first hotel stay since the pandemic. We were nervous. But the Reikart House made us feel very safe. All the staff wore their masks correctly. When we checked into our room, the fan was on high to air the room out. The TV remote and towels were in plastic containers. The toilet paper roll and Kleenex box were fresh and in their original wrapping. The room was spotless. At check-in, they handed us a bag with toiletries, cups, coffee and tea, also wrapped in plastic. The staff was warm, welcoming and helpful. It was a Monday, so the restaurant next door was closed. But they made an excellent recommendation for a nearby Italian Steakhouse that offered take-out, including a bottle of wine. The staff took wine glasses from the closed bar area of the hotel and let us take them up to our room so we could enjoy the wine from the steakhouse. The grab-and-go breakfast that we ordered the next morning was supposed to include a blueberry muffin. But they were out. So another staff member ran two freshly baked scones up to our room as soon as they came out of the oven. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back
Our stay at the Reikart House was nothing short of exceptional! We booked a Deluxe King suite & added on the romance package for Valentine’s Day weekend. The whole hotel, from the lobby to the rooms, is beautifully decorated & finished. Such a cool, detailed theme throughout the whole building! The staff we encountered were friendly & helpful. Our room had a beautiful fireplace and robes for us to use. The romance package was more than I expected!! Rose petals, swans created from towels, a snack platter full of good quality food & even chocolate covered raspberries! A bottle of Prosecco to top it all off. I wish we could have stayed longer! 10/10, highly recommend. We will be back next time we are in Buffalo & I will definitely be checking out more Marriott hotels in the future!
That’s how comfortable I felt from the start of my 2 day stay to the finish. The hotel and rooms are beautifully appointed with attention to detail, including the fragrance. The staff will delight you. The rooms and property are immaculate and the mattress and bed linens will provide you with a glorious night’s sleep or nap. Can’t wait for my next visit!
Staying at the Reikhart was wonderful. It felt like a true home, away from home. I owed this experience to the exceptional staff operating this hotel. From the management team, Karen and Tatiana, to the entire customer service team, most notably Marty, Tina, Lucas, Xavier, Yanick (my apologies if I misspell some names or forget others), everyone working there maintained a high level of professionalism and went above and beyond for every guest.Per example, Xavier made the check-in experience welcoming, smooth and hassle-free after a long day of traveling. Tatiana made sure I had the best available room when I unexpectedly needed to extend my stay. Marty, along with all the front desk duties he always had to fulfill, always made sure I had the plates and silverware needed for my take out meals every night and Yanick made sure I had a microwave to reheat anything I needed to. Tina went out of her way to walk me all the way to the fitness center one afternoon when I didn’t know where it was. One night after a long day at work, I walked into the lobby and mentioned to Lucas how much I loved the smell of the lobby and would love to have it at my house, and he went out of his way to research exactly what that was, wrote it on a note and left it for the morning shift to pass on to me. These were merely a few occasions where this outstanding crew went above and beyond for me when they didn’t have to. The Reikhart House is hospitality at its finest and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a great stay in the Buffalo/Western New York area. 10/10. Yves
Absolutely loved it!! Booked the corner suite with the fireplace for a birthday getaway. The room was beautiful & the lobby as well! Very impressed! Added the romance package which was a nice touch. Totally loved the setup. Made our night! Everything was beyond my expectations. Wonderful staff/customer service! Very clean & tidy hotel. Would definitely recommend & consider when staying in town!
Staying at the hotel was an absolutely wonderful experience. We entered a beautifully adorned vanilla scented lobby and were greeted by Lucas who checked us in. Lucas was polite engaging and very knowledgeable about the area and the hotel. Our room was swanky luxury outfitted with nice period appearing details. The bed was comfy and the entire hotel from public spaces to our room was impeccably clean. 10/10 would highly recommend.
The Reikart is the place to stay if coming to the Buffalo area. Away from all the touristy sites and quiet, laid back atmosphere. Great restaurants near by and at the hotel. The rooms are beautiful, clean, upgraded and the beds re perfect for a great night sleep. Hotel is elegant and makes you feel right at home.
Stayed here overnight on a trip to take my daughter to college. Impressed by the large well designed rooms and incredibly comfortable beds. The hotel seemed understaffed and the breakfast was lacking but with covid restrictions it is understandable. Would not hesitate to stay here again.
I first stayed at the Reikart House for business about a year ago and had a n excellent stay, I really liked it. My wife and I stayed there for a leisure trip to Buffalo to visit family and friends in late April of 2021 and I had the same experience again. If you are looking for a great place to stay, where the entire staff cares about you, you should check out this facility. It is in a great location if you are looking to stay in the Buffalo area or visit Niagara Falls or just to walk into a the quaint village of Williamsville, grab a coffee or treat yourself to some fine Buffalo Pizza and Wings!
I thoroughy enjoyed my stay at the Reikart House. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The hotel is beautiful and filled with character and very clean. There ia also a restaurant next door with a great happy hour. I wish I was able to atay more than just one night!
The Reikart House is gorgeous! Our room was impeccably clean and I used to be a housekeeper so I can spot an issue. The staff were so polite and welcoming and we were given a gift basket with our amenities to ensure cleanliness and safety. I was completely impressed and this hotel surpassed all my expectations. Unfortunately we were not able to eat at Jazzboline, but there are plenty of top quality restaurants within a few miles.
The front desk was really nice. Rooms and decor were great. Typically have to stay downtown for nice design. First, I spent an hour calling to try to place a room service dinner. It really effected the experience early on. I spent like $130 and it was delivered in a tiny paper bag with cheap plastic containers that barely fit the food. No trays either.I understand covid is a factor, but other hotels are still sending plates or at least putting more effort into presentation. Then in the morning we got the breakfast to go, which seemed like a great idea. However, the delivered us someone else’s and had to call to get a new order. Once I received mine I realized the contents were pretty disappointing. A microwave bob evans sandwich for instance which I took one bite of and threw away. It would have been nice to have some local pastries or something interesting in the nicely packaged $15 boxes. I was really looking forward to this hotel being a great experience since it has the aesthetics we look for and so close to our house. Although it was a bit disappointing and think we might end up just driving downtown for our next stay. If you are looking for a really cool hotel to stay at for a night and don’t need room service, you’re probably fine staying here and will have a great experience. If you try to order room service, you might be more likely to get through to someone at the IRS or DMV sooner.
The staff, the rooms, the “vibe” were all wonderful. We are from the Rochester area and are happy that we “discovered” the Reikart House. Our stay was at the end of January so we stayed in or drove places. The hotel is located adjacent to 290 - great for getting to the hotel but not the best for views and walks. We loved our room (203), which was a true one bedroom suite with guest 1/2 bath in the living room. Clean, upscale, wonderful branding, great staff - we loved our two night stay there!
The hotel is very beautiful and unique, very European. We loved the fact that it is remote from the city and private. The room was gorgeous, and the fireplace added a nice, romantic touch. We booked the romance package, and the setup was absolutely amazing and made our stay unforgettable. There were some food restrictions, and the restaurant was closed due to Covid, but it did not take away from the wonderful experience. We will definitely be back!
My husband and I stayed at Reikhart House for our wedding anniversary. We got a romance package along with our room. They really made us feel special from the moment we walked through the door. We felt right at home immediately. Our room was cozy, spacious, beautiful and very clean. They thought of every little detail during our stay. The staff were very kind and helpful as well. The bed and sheets felt like we were sleeping on a cloud. We did not dine at the location, but plan to sometime again. We look forward to our next stay at Reikart House.
This hotel is a gem. The staff (every one of them) go out of their way to consistently exceed expectations. Have stayed twice in the past few months and it is now our favorite weekend getaway spot. The lobby fireplace lounge is beautiful and the property is exceptionally clean. Restaurant next to hotel is convenient and fun.
I loved how welcoming and friendly the staff were. Everything was great from the wedding I attended to the service and breakfast provided. I also loved how clean the hotel is. Definitely recommend this place, I will be coming back soon. Thank you again for the excellent customer service.
Great hotel! Very friendly staff, clean hotel rooms with very modern amenities. Loved the tile flooring and walk-in shower. The only small damper was the room service. Ordered a bowl of French onion soup and the bread on top was stale. Besides that everything else was great!
We ordered food late night from the 24/7 breakfast menu after we went back to our room when the wedding was finished. We were starving since the food from the wedding was absolutely terrible also- filet was so overcooked and dry I could barely swallow it. I NEVER complain about food- but this was bad. SO over priced for yet another VERY disappointing snack. Pretty sure there was also poop on the wall outside of the bathroom. I dont know for sure but I wasnt going to try anything to hypothesize what it really was. We go up a left to go get breakfast somewhere else in the morning.
Clean, courteous and contemporary. This was one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. Entire hotel, but mainly the room was extremely clean. The ambience in the room made it so relaxing. The bed was incredibly comfortable as well. The staff were outgoing and you really couldn’t ask for much more out of a hotel.
Absolutely beautiful place. service is truly a cut above the rest. I like to thank Xavier for answering all my questions. He is a great example, of how customer service should be. The hotel offer many different packages that may interest a lot of people. The room is modern and extremely clean. The romantic package included a cheese/cracker & fruit tray, along with chocolate covered strawberries and a bottle of wine. Everything was just right. Now that we all are dealing with covid. Reikart is taking extra measures, to insure your safety and health.
Everything about the hotel was fantastic. It smelled lovely walking in. Everything was visually pleasing from the old fashioned keys behind the desk to our room. The staff was friendly. Our room was beautiful and clean also quite spacious. Would definitely stay again.
Luxury hotel in western New York: Every year when we return to Buffalo to visit family this is the hotel that we book; it is an extraordinary value— the rooms are beautifully appointed, well organized and comfortable; the public rooms are beautiful and accommodating; the staff is attentive and helpful; the location is very convenient and the restaurant next-door is fantastic —one of the best in Buffalo and in Western NY.
What a beautiful and intimate place to stay. Attention to detail is obviously their top priority. The room was so comfortable. The moment I sat on the bed, I knew I was going to have a great sleep. Sheets were yummy and the bed was firm enough to support but very plush. Personally, I wish they had a bathtub but I know that’s becoming a thing of the past. The shower head made up for my disappointment, it was a medium size rain style. Lovely. My husband ended up having to do some work while on vacation (Boo!). A bar height desk with a tilted top turned out to be exactly what he needed. One item I wish they had was robes, maybe that’s a Covid thing.Jazzboline is a real treat. The decor is candy for the eye. I had their French Onion soup and was so pleasantly surprised because I’ve had it in Paris and no one has come close to my experience there. The chefs here know what they’re doing. All the flavors were in harmony, nothing overpowered. To start the meal, we had focaccia bread with black salted butter. Another treat. We had a nice conversation with the Director, Charlie Barone. He was kind enough to offer recommendations for vineyards in the area. We sat next to the kitchen and he was in and out the whole time. The quality of the experience at Reikart is a team effort and it shows! Well done everyone!
Hotel staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, even prior to booking/check in. We were very pleased with our room, cleanliness, upkeep, an decor. The food from Jazzboline was delicious! as well. We would defiantly recommend, and stay at the hotel again in the future. Lovely stay-cation.
This was our fifth stay at The Reikart and it continues to be one of our favorites! The rooms are very nice and the beds are so comfortable! I have to shout out to the housekeeping staff for finding a necklace I left behind. I wasnt sure where I lost it but when I called and spoke to Tina she checked with them and returned my call within 2 minutes with the good news! I couldnt have been happier! When anyone asks where to stay in the Buffalo area I will always highly recommend The Reikart!
We wanted to go the Niagara Falls and we drove to Buffalo, when we picked this hotel initially we did not know how far the Falls were going to be we were surprised to find how convenient this hotel is. its centrally located in Buffalo its about 25min to the falls and 15-20mn to downtown Buffalo. The staff there were great however because of Covid there seems to have been some delayed in service which we understood.and over all it was a great experience. and when it comes to dinner the Restaurant on site was great and theres a good menu option to choose from. and Due to Covid there will be limited contact with the hotel staff and you.
Literally the cleanest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. I’m talking bathroom corners squeaky clean. Super nice staff. Lovely decor. Love the theme music playing softly everywhere. Comfy beds. Perfect amenities. Breakfast was perfect. And why does it smell so amazing everywhere ? So nice for a near-to-home romantic night out.
Beautiful Hotel, located close to Interstate.Staff was exceptionally welcoming. Rooms where clean and lovely! Located in a nice area with many places to dine close by. There was an on site restaurant that looked awesome however we arrived to late to enjoy it. This is will be our go to when traveling in this area of New York!
Hotel itself is a nice facility. Well kept, and rather clean as a whole. Restaurant that’s adjacent lead to an excellent meal as well enjoyed by all. Major complaint which knocked the experience down a few notches was the shower/tub. First off, quite wonky with respect to operation and then water collected and did not vacate fast enough leaving inches of standing water by the end of the shower.
Very friendly staff arranged for food from restaurant to be delivered before we arrived to our room as restaurant would be closed at that time. Very nice room with extremely comfortable beds. We were on a cross country trip so just a quick stay over but everything was perfect
We stayed at Reikart House as a getaway for our daughters birthday as our son goes to UB and lives nearby. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and by far the cleanest hotel we have experienced. The restaurant on the premises, Jazzboline, has incredible food, service, with a really cool atmosphere. Truly a gem in the Buffalo area!
I stay at lots of hotels, and I frequent the Ritz Carlton and this hotel beats the Ritz in many ways. I know that this hotel doesnt have a pool etc but it has the very best service and the most comfortable beds ever. I look forward to my business trips just to get a great nights sleep. They have nice managers nights and offer snacks and drinks. Their hotel is so charming and comfortable. I love it!The bonus is that its so clean and trendy.Tuesday is customer appreciation night, enjoy a glass of wine in the house!Updated: 8/27/19 I stay at this hotel a few times a month and sadly the house keeping services have declined. My room was missing bath mat, tea, water, slippers, pen, and the shower was dirty the sink didnt drain and the comforter had crumbs on it. The last few times Ive stayed I let the front desk know that the coffee maker had scum in it and the showers had mold. All of these things are easily fixed with bleach and housekeeping that cleans. Im disappointed I lowered my stars, but if I continue to stay and the cleanliness declines so will my rating.
Stayed on business and immediately noted the unique furnishings meant to take you back in time yet with conveniences of today. Rooms are spacious with great amenities. Loved the cookies in my room at turn down. The gym was a little challenging to get to but was equipped with standard machines and free weights. Was maintained well with extra headphones.. although not I phone compatibleMenu choices were varied enough to accommodate my tastes. Service was good. Would definitely come back!
This was the first time I traveled in a year due to covid and was very happy with my experience. Every single staff member was extremely friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and trendy, the gym was nice and large, and the restaurant was amazing. Also great location to the airport. I would definitely return
We loved everything about this hotel. It first caught our attention due to the airport shuttle, but the website soon indicated this was an unusual hotel that felt nothing like a chain. The public spaces are charming, and the rooms are really nicely done. The bed was incredibly comfortable. Breakfast in the Parlor Room was very good. The affiliated restaurant, Jazzboline, was delicious. Although all the staff is super-attentive, extra shout out to Paul. We dont go to Buffalo often, so we hope the Tribute Portfolio group will create some more winners like this in other areas.
My stay here was superb 👌 this has become a new favorite of mine and Ill most definitely be returning. My room was spacious but comfortable 😌 the fireplace was perfect. The location is right off the highway (I-90) and Main street and there is plenty of restaurants in the area. I want to highlight and employee named Xavier, he made checking in a breeze and his friendly demeanor hasnt been match out of all the hotels Ive stayed at! My room had a doorbell, thats a first Ive ever encountered but it was a nice feature. If I could give it 10 stars I would ✨ 🎶 💛
The Reikart House was an amazing experience from checking in to making special arrangements for my daughter who traveled with me. The kindness, attentiveness to the guests, food, cleanliness with no excuses regarding the pandemic that has other establishments using as an excuse for inferior quality was not evident on our stay. I was amazed
Went to Buffalo for a quick weekend getaway and couldnt have been happier to have stayed at the Reikart House! It was a pleasure from start to finish, well appointed suite, very clean, close to anything you are looking for, concierge was awesome. I can imagine its even better not during Covid. I will recommend to anyone heading to the area, and I plan on staying again myself.
We were in town for a family wedding and previously have stayed in other Marriott chain hotels, which are very cookie cutter in style, and often tired. Reikart House is by far the nicest hotel weve stayed at in the Buffalo area, well worth the few extra dollars it costs. The hotel decor is lovely, the room was very clean and well appointed (I loved the no fog mirror in the bathroom), the bed very comfortable and the staff, friendly. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to staying there again in the future.
Had a lovely, spur-of-the-moment staycation at Reikart Hotel. While it was a shame to not be able to linger in the common areas, I had little intent to leave my room anyways. The room was well-decorated with all one would want such as a great mattress, shower, lighting options, and thick shades to draw. The only cons to speak of were spotty WiFi and thin walls between rooms. Shoutout to Tina and Lucas at the front desk who were top-notch and enriched my stay with their kindness and warmth (and endless cups of tea).
From check in until check out this hotel was fabulous. There was plenty of parking, the lobby and restaurant area are beautifully decorated and the entire hotel was very clean. The rooms are well equipped with luxurious bedding and stylish furnishing. Even though the fitness room was small it was clean and efficient. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to be close to attractions such as Niagara Falls without the tourist traps. I have never stayed in a hotel with turn down service before but it made my night to receive a warm delicious cookie hand delivered before bed. Great hotel with excellent staff.
My husband and I stayed here for just a night, but I was so blown away by the style and class of this hotel. It has this amazing blend of vintage and modern design and there are amazing art peices and pictures everywhere. The room was fantastic as well. We stayed in the club level, which I have to say was so worth it! The bathroom was gorgeously designed with well beautiful tiles and it was so spacious!! The atmopshere was so elegant!! We will definitely be coming back!!
I stayed over New Year 2020 and was impreseed by this hotel. Obviously, the staff are friendly and professional. The room was very clean, bight, and decorative. The hotel itself is lovely, calm, and has a relaxing vibe. Having never been in the area, I asked a lot of questions which were address calmly by front desk. The concierge made a few inconvenient trips to our room for requested items, so its very appreciated. (I completely forgot to tip them and housekeeping!😬) Either way, a great stay and would recommend.
Clean, beautiful and accommodating. You could tell they were working hard with a shorter staff than usual. Everyone’s short staffed right now but you wouldn’t know it at the rikert house. They all maintained great customer service and guest experiences. Cheers to the staff!
I was picking up, settling in, and dropping off family. They were willing to pay extra to be somewhere nice, where staying somewhat wasnt a discomfort you put up with you werent home, but a nice luxury treat instead. It did cost around double your average, basic, nothing special good or bad hotel, maybe triple the cheap motelsI can speak to the quality. It looks from the outside like a place an ambassador would stay. Their shuttle service was a luxury car. The lobby is a lounge with a light menu of cocktails and bites, near a well decorated lobby with a beautiful fireplace, decorated elegantly for the holiday season. The gym had a bike with the visual display like you could see where you were walking. The front desk was very polite and efficient, and the room was not big or small but VERY nice. My family enjoyed the turndown service and treat left with it, thats a nice touch. Theres an interesting system where you can set a do not disturb or please clean light from inside, and a lit notification button outside each room rings a chime inside, which prevents knocking from disturbing other guests, a nice touchThe attached restaurant must have been good because it was quite fullDefinitely an upscale vibe from top to bottom.
I was very fond of this hotel. Stayed here during a work trip in the area and was very satisfied. The decor was very nice and interesting, not the standard boring hotel decor. The room was cozy and clean, everything felt very new. The service was friendly, the staff very helpful and the bed was incredibly comfortable. I would certainly stay again.
I must say this is one of the best hotels in Buffalo, with amazing team. The fact I give 9 not 10 on my overall experience just because we had cold night as the heating was not working in our room, yes, they give us heater in the room but took forever to get the room warm so we can sleep. Unfortunately that this happen and also the fact that there were no other free rooms so they can move us, as we were told. But other than that this is really an amazing hotel and very happy I did stay there and for sure will stay again. Check in was great Jayme at the desk is amazing did our booking and check in perfectly. The Butlers there over all are amazing and I love the concept, Marty the butler is such a blessing in a hotel like this as I could easily see he have passion to what he does. Melinda the manager this day did a great job with us doing our booking, great management. Breakfast was very good, both waitresses was just the best unfortunately forgot their names.Thank you all, Will be back for sure. Always, MK
My first visit to a Tribute Portfolio property made me wish I had discovered this gem much earlier! Not even a year old, Reikart House is an amazing property situated conveniently close to the Buffalo Niagara International Airport yet distant enough to be quiet and serene. This hotel is located by I-290 and is one interchange north of the western end of I-90, the New York Thruway. Walden Galleria is a short drive (three interchanges south) from this hotel. The clean decor is simple and elegant and the rooms are well-appointed with many thoughtful features. The bed was very comfortable and contributed to a sound and restful sleep. The bathroom was clean and bright with plenty of fresh towels. The bathroom amenities were great and the hair dryer was very effective. The bathrobe and slippers provided were very comfortable. The small sock monkey stationed on the couch was a nice touch tying in to the history of the Riekart family. My salmon dinner was amazing and the honey-orange butter for the bread was one of the best I have ever tasted! While not used, the meeting rooms appeared to be well-appointed and comfortable for small to medium-sized groups. The parking stalls were large, reducing the chance of potential door dings.
The hotel is beautiful but the staff is frankly incompetent. Our room wasn’t ready at check in because they had given a late checkout to a high status guest. We were told we were out of luck because status trumps our check in time. Well, we took the time to verify that and it turns out it was a lie. Only then did they apologize.
My wife and I stayed here Valentines Day weekend for an early celebration. We booked under the Valentines Day package which included balloons, rose petals on the bed, swan towels, battery candles, in room dining and bottle of wine. This was both of ours first time visiting this hotel and surely won’t be the last. Upon arrival we were greeted and presented a bag that had the normal complementary items that would be in the room pre-COVID times. We stayed in room 126, standard king room and it was beautifully decorated. Clean, very clean room, not going to lie I think it’s the most cleanest room/hotel we’ve ever stayed in. We’ve stayed many times at luxury hotels. For our dinner we had a choice of 6, 7 or 8pm and we chose 6pm. Dinner was prepared from next door at the Jazzboline restaurant and we had Caesar salad, lamb ribs with side bbq sauce, fettuccine chicken Alfredo and slices of red velvet cake for desert. Our wine choice was a bottle of Cabernet wine. It was on time, large portion sizes, perfectly seasoned and very delicious! The room tv was a smart tv and had the option to sign into your own Hulu account which was a nice feature aside from the normal stations. Prior to staying here, passing by the place you’d never know this was a hotel but this is a hidden gem. Very glad we found it and had an amazing first time stay. Highly recommended Hotel and food and we will be back.
This hotel is spectacular. The location is great, quick to get on the highway nearby. Obviously it’s new, but everything feels clean and lived in, in a wonderful way. So many of the touches are unique. Staff was very accommodating and the breakfast each morning was far above your standard hotel fare. It may become my new second Buffalo home.
Celebrating anniversary and birthday (and other event). Hotel was just beautiful with high end amenities and professional personnel. Every staff member was courteous and knowledgeable. We felt pampered by staff and enjoyed a clean and luxurious room. We will definitely stay at RH again on our next visit to the Buffalo area. The assistant GM was so friendly, caring and professional. Her staff made our stay even better.
Great location with friendly and quick reception. There was some confusion about the room that we had booked and they upgraded our reservation without hesitation or being asked. The room itself was great with nearby parking and a fireplace. A few fixtures around the room needed fixing (loose roller for the sliding bathroom door for instance) but all in all the room was great. The room came with a safe and a fridge which was appreciated. Will definitely return when in Buffalo.
Great experience here at this hotel. Great staff, They pay attention to details. They make you welcome and like you are the only guest. The staff work well as a team and they are looking for ways to make your stay enjoyable. The rooms are appointed very well. I had a room with a fireplace and it was beautiful. I was here for business, and it was hard to balance the well appointed room and bathroom with a place to work freely and comfortably as well as bring in food and eat in the room. To the hotels defense, they provided a quaint restaurant with the ability of paying attention to their guests. This would encourage me to want to eat out there, but if I am working late, i want to be able to have a small corner in which to snack on. Over all, GREAT EXPERIENCE.
A beautifully designed small hotel. Attention was made to every little detail. The king suite is exceptional. Large and comfortable. Beds are comfortable. Bathrooms very up to date design, classic and clean. The little touches from the Butler leaving little snacks and the turn down service was excellent. Lovely breakfast. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
For lack of better terms, wow ! I was over the top impressed with the service, hospitality, food, cleanliness, modern twist, tastefully decorated rooms and surrounding areas...the list goes on. I have already recommended the Reikart House to family and friends and I know I will definitely be back. I often get grossed out with the typical hotel rooms that have filthy carpets, uncomfortable beds, and uncertainty of service. I was pleasantly surprised with my stay. Staff was accommodating, pleasant, courteous and welcoming. I had a beautiful room and spectacular experience. Keep up the good work Reikart House, Buffalo.... I will be back
Was in my old home town for my 50th bday and it was a last minute decision to stay at the Reikart House. Ive stayed at hundreds of different hotels all over the world and the experience at the Reikart was by far the best Ive ever had. From the moment we walked in the door we knew it was something special. The interior was stylish and modern. The staff was friendly and efficient and we were in our room within a couple minutes. The room was over the top; big bright corner room with a fireplace. Courtesy snacks, fluffy robes with an in room alexa to play music. The bathroom was all marble with a huge shower. Breakfast the next couple mornings was excellent with no wait, and courteous service. Also had drinks and dessert in the lobby lounge with the bartender running to the restaurant to get our dessert. Every experience in the hotel was top notch, I highly recommend it.
Great boutique hotel!Beautiful 2 floor hotel. Has a nice vintage look inside with clean and very well represented rooms.Everything is up to date, well furnished rooms, hallways and lobby area.A very nice touch was the LED light selector to choose between Make room and Do not disturbSlightly discouraged at first approaching the front desk, i felt a little unwanted almost, until i reached the agents and mentioned that i had a reservation and everything went smoothly and agents were rather very friendly.Check out was very smooth, i received my folio ahead of time.Parking space was plentiful and i got a spot near the exit!Would come again!Unfortunately no pictures, i only had 1 night to stay over buffalo.
Nearly perfect stay.Staff were polite, assistive, and helpful in every interaction. Rooms were well appointed, comfortable, and sufficiently spacious. The Jazzboline restaurant next door was very convenient, served very appetizing selection of food, and was reasonably priced. The only recommendation I have is for better communication with shuttle service. There was some confusion as to shuttle availability when we landed at BUF.
Beautiful hotel. My room was clean and crisp. Spotless and quiet. Would highly recommend this hotel. The staff are wonderful. The room has complementary bottled water and a Keurig coffee maker with white bone china mugs... (Loved that). But the best part was the fresh baked cookies sitting on my pillow.
Our stay was excellent. The hotel was extremely well kept as were the rooms. The staff was helpful and the rooms were luxurious and comfortable. Our only complaint was the dining. Food was very overpriced for the quality, even for a hotel, and the bar closed much too early on the weekend. Bar food was pretty non existent, so we had to order through Uber Eats. Other than dining, this hotel was a calming and wonderful retreat; Very quiet!
We had a fantastic first stay here while visiting my daughter in Buffalo. She teaches at UB now so we are so happy to have found the Reikart House. We used to stay at the Marriott off Millersburg rd. But our last stay there was, well lets just say it will be our last. When we arrived we were greeted by Xavier Piece. Super friendly and welcomed us with a gift bag containing, free waters, coffee, cups and tea for our room. Everything was very clean, sanitized, sealed in bags. New tissue box (sealed), New (sealed) toilet paper on the roll. Towels were sealed in a bag as well. This hotel knows how to deal with this crazy Covid world were all stuck in. The room was amazing. Bed was so comfortable we melted away and slept like babies. I only have one negative...I wish I would have found this little gem of a hotel a long time ago. Well done everyone. I will be returning soon when we come to Buffalo in the future. Cash Abshire
Had a quick overnight stay at Reikart House while attending a concert at KeyBank Center. The hotel was well-appointed and the staff was friendly and professional. The rooms were designed by someone with an eye for detail that didnt just make this a typical hotel chain stay; laminate wood floors with area rug, foyer area with bench to put take your shoes on/off etc. The bathroom was well designed too and very clean. A shout out to Xavier who was quick to help us with getting a microwave and an extra bathrobe & slippers since there were two of us staying. He was attentive and truly caring that we enjoyed our stay.
I highly recommend this first class hotel. I travel a lot for business and no place is more enjoyable or makes me feel at home like the Reikart House. The rooms are spacious and beautifully appointed. The beds are not like your typical hotel bed. They are heavenly, like home. The hotel is spotless from the lobby to every corner of your room. The restaurant serves a fabulous menu with variety. I have never ordered anything and been disappointed. It’s consistently delicious. And the staff...I could never adequately express the wonderful level of service this staff provides. They are welcoming, knowledgeable and always go above and beyond. I feel pampered from the moment I walk through the doors. Where else can I go and get warm cookies brought up in the evening or walk out to find the snow already brushed from my car following an overnight snow? The Reikart House is in a class all it’s own. I’ll never choose to stay anywhere else when I am in Buffalo.
Amazing hotel with tons of character. When you first enter youre struck by how pretty it is. The front desk people were nice. I opted for complimentary breakfast instead of my 1,000 welcome points from Marriott.Room: was gorgeous and furnished beautifully. The drawers all had quotes. There were complimentary slippers and robe for use.Dining: had the Saturday Breakfast and its very filling - worth the normal $13 cost. Coffee was $4 with complimentary refills. Nice wait staff. Only complaint here was that my frittata was a little gritty, maybe from the Swiss chard.COOKIE TURN DOWN SERVICE. Thats right, at night a Butler comes to your room, rings the door bell and offers you cookies before you go to bed. Adorable.Construction: my main reason for 4 stars instead of 5. Theyre expanding and have ongoing construction but dont have earplugs. Its not insanely loud but my room faced the construction and I heard it around 9am during my weekend stay.
We had a great experience during our brief time at the Reikart House. The room was spacious, the beds were comfortable and everyone was so nice! Loved the reading light in the bed frame. Cookies on the pillow~such a nice touch! I think there should be coffee in the lobby in the morning. I had to buy one from the restaurant for $5. It would be a nice touch to have a coffee/tea area set up.
Everything about this hotel was delightful! The hotel bed was probably the most comfortable that I have ever slept in (and I travel for business quite a bit). The bathroom was luxurious. The decor was whimsical and very appealing. The free breakfast was not a typical buffet but one standard selection as the option - it was delicious (although if you are traveling with kids everyone may not find the option that is offered appealing). The staff was eager to be of assistance and very welcoming. I would love to move this hotel to every location that I visit and stay in it every time I travel. Would highly recommend.
Looking at the facility from outside we thought the place was small. But when we checked in, we found the pace was spacious, clean and the staff were cheerful and welcoming. Its unfortunate wed had curtail our visit because of an impending snow storm. We will definitely return to this place anytime we come back to Buffalo area.
Decided to stay here for a one-night visit to Buffalo with my wife. The entry/lobby is beautiful, staff very pleasant and professional. Room is really gorgeous with very nice finishes, appropriate for the price.Bathroom also very well done with fantastic tile work. The turndown service with cookies left on the bed (while we were away for dinner) was a very nice touch.TV needs a working channel guide and apps like Netflix.
Pleasantly surprised. I was expecting more interesting than most things in a commercial area of suburban greater Buffalo. This experience, however was a truly interesting gem. Front desk service was fantastic- authentic, genuine, warm, and somehow never intrusive. Deluxe rooms were great; loved the tile floors in the entryway and washroom, wood flooring in the main room, the fireplace. Everything was done to a high level of finish, recently renovated and well maintained. Breakfast in the lobby was super tasty, too.A few questions; Why was club level first floor, with a view of the parking lot? for instance. Not enough to district from the overall experience though. Our new favorite in Buffalo area.
This is an absolutely beautiful boutique hotel. Very high end finishes and furnishings and the staff are professional and friendly. The room was beautifully appointed and the bed was like sleeping on a cloud. After going out for the evening we returned to find fresh baked chocolate chip cookies delivered to the room as an evening treat! Marty, Tatjana and Kelly from front desk were wonderful and courteous. We highly recommend this wonderful gem and will return!!!!
We stayed here for just one night but wished we could stay longer. The room was very clean and tastefully decorated. The bed was very comfortable with a cushy topper. We ate breakfast and everything was delicious. Our family lives nearby and say they love eating there and in the restaurant nextdoor. We will definitely stay there again and look forward to it.
I travel for a living and have stayed in my hotels. Most are predictable in terms of amenities and service level. My first stay at the Reikart House in Buffalo has set the bar quite a bit higher for the remainder of the competitors. Great service was the key along with very nice and clean accomodations. Honestly, it was on par with the more glamorous facilities that charge two or three times the nightly rate.
I have stayed here at the Reikart house house several times the staff is superb if you need it they have or can get ot for you. I arrived ahead of my scheduled check in and my room was not available yet the staff put me in another room until my room was ready other places make you wait until your room. I dont remember names very well but my stay at the Reikart house was for three days 3/25 - 3-28/2021 and the staff from day shift to the night shift made me feel like i was at home.
Love this hotel. Everything about it is amazing. From the doorbell to the bathroom and food, to the staff and comfy bed. Hopefully in the near future they will add an jacuzzi and pool. But they do have a great workout room too. Next time I will use it since I was there for few days. And now they are expending for wedding venues which I will go there on my wedding. Such an awesome experience that you cannot forget for the rest of your life. They are welcoming team.
The hotel is beautiful. The rooms are so clean and well designed. The staff is professional and friendly. The environment is peaceful and not rowdy which allow for a quite non-stressful stay at the hotel. I didn’t get to use much of the amenities such as gym but looking forward to coming back and stay for more than one night.
Our stay here was everything! My husband and I have done staycations all over Buffalo, but this is by far our favorite place. I had the pleasure of working with Tina R at concierge services and not only was she super sweet but she was also super helpful. We are already planning our next stay!
The hotel lobby is an attraction in itself. We spent some time just chilling there and taking scenic pictures. The staff was beyond attentive to our needs and offered help. The room was clean and had everything we needed, except perhaps, the setup was for one person, not for two, despite it being a king bed suite, so there was one set of all items. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and I would recommend it.
I stay at this hotel often and the service only keeps getting better. Most staff at the front desk know me by name and know my preferences. On an evening when I arrived without a reservation and the hotel was full, they were able to accommodate me. I especially enjoy the food at the restaurant. They have an excellent lunch menu option that includes an amuse-bouche, a salad, a soup, a main course and a dessert, all in one plate. The rooms are modern and comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel.
Reasonably new Marriott Hotel with a warm cosy atmosphere, nicely situated on Main Street. One can see that some effort was made in the design and decoration. Does not feel like the normal Marriott Hotel. Staff are very friendly and always smile when you enter the lobby. Rooms are nicely done with understated décor and furnishings. Good value for money too!!
Wow, what an unexpected gem in Amherst (Buffalo), NY. As a platinum member of Starwood, I always look to stay at Starwood properties and I was surprised to see this hotel on the website. I must say I was blown away by everything about this hotel. What a cool and classy hotel with excellent service as well. The menu here changes daily and I was very impressed with the ingenuity and freshness of the items. The story behind the name of this property is awesome too and gives more life to the property. I would absolutely stay here again and in fact I’m already planning my next trip. From the rooms to the service to the food I was thoroughly impressed. The attention to detail was top notch and the fact the butler went out in the cold on his own volition and cleared the snow off all of the guest vehicles is unheard of in today’s pseudo customer service world. Enjoy a great stay!
I brought my elderly mom and my brother away for a few days and we stayed at Reikart House. We had an amazing stay, the rooms are lovely, the beds are comfortable and the bathroom is high end and very roomy! The hotel staff were kind, caring and very accommodating! The food at the restaurant was amazing and hit from the grill!!! We were most impressed and will definitely be back!
Absolutely beautiful place. The hotel offer many different packages that may interest a lot of people. They even have a bourbon package, that I may want to try at a later time. We selected the romantic package. Fellas you cant go wrong with this package. The room is modern and extremely clean. The romantic package included a cheese/cracker & fruit tray, along with chocolate covered strawberries and a bottle of wine. Everything was just right. They also offer dinner dining at the restaurant adjacent to the lobby. Or you can take advantage of the shuttle to a restaurant within a 5 mile radius. Staff was friendly and professional. 5 stars
I would rank 4.5 stars. Xavier was so kind and accommodating. I was there during the end of January to beginning of February timeframe. There was snow on my car and I didn’t have a brush. Xavier came outside and removed the snow - this was AFTER I had already checked out. Again very courteous, would stay again for such great customer service. Thank you Xavier! Monty was friendly also.
The hotel maintain its standards as it says Tribute Portfolio hotel Starwood and Marriott guests can earn rewards points with each stay.I am really happy with my stay in this beautiful hotel. The rooms were very clean, modern and spacious. There was a good choice for breakfast and it was delicious.Comfortable bed. Good for an business stay. Staff is friendly enough. Its a nice property and near to the highway so you can go to otherocation easily. Most importantly Starbucks located near to the hotel.
The beds and robes are so comfy. The breakfast, delicious and well priced. The staff were amazingly gracious, kind, welcoming, and helpful. I recommend this hotel. Know youll be driving distance from most attractions and restaurants, stores... but the calm, peaceful location of this impeccable hotel is very much worth it.
Let me tell you about this place. In my mind and the minds of my guests this is the best hotel in the area hands down. My wife and I just threw our wedding in the area over Labor Day weekend 2019. We blocked rooms for our guests here and stayed here ourselves. The front desk staff are fantastic, attentive and just overall top notch. The Butlers there are first class and Marty took the time to welcome and escort my 87 year old grandmother to her room and get her settled. Who does that any more? Answer is no one. Laurie Carroll handled our room blocks, rehearsal dinner and our morning after breakfast for our guests. The event was a huge success and one that left our guests truly raving about the service, the food and the location. The rooms are gorgeous and the beds are sooooo soft. This place is a class acts class act. If you are in the area this is the place to stay.
From the moment of arrival, everything about Reikart House was top notch. The front desk staff were welcoming and helpful, the staff in housekeeping and hospitality were attentive without being intrusive. Rooms were as good as any I have stayed in and the mattress on the bed was legendary. We had dinner at Jazzboline, for the second time, first was in July and the Management and Staff recognized us which I thought was exceptionalMy only wish is the hotel offered more logod items with Jocko the Monkey...he is a great representative of the Hotel...If there were 6 stars I would award them.
I absolutely love this place! I agree with the other reviewer that I stay at a lot of hotels as well, and this place is one of the better ones Ive ever stayed at and been in.Its very spacious, beautifully designed, and constructed (value those people!) and the attention to detail is flawless. Also the staff was so helpful, kind and professional.I also want to point out that the bathroom earned major points for me - from the makeup removing towel, to the extra stand-up mirror under the sink, and even how the shower floor was architecturally designed to be slanted downward, so the water drains to the bottom every single time (I have a knack for noticing the small things!) A soft, white robe is hung just behind the door upon your arrival in the bathroom, and they also have a few q-tips included in a tiny plastic packet. Even the paper cup covers had illustrative details as a nice added touch to take it one step above the rest. The bed was comfortably spacious and I loved how the velvet tufted headboard had movable lights on each side to suit your angles. The faux fireplace had whimsically playful patterned tiles and I was admiring the abstract artwork overlooking a modern chaise, complete with an adorable stuffed sock monkey - super cute! They truly had everything down in terms of thinking about the guest, right down to the labels over the foyer swtiches and the complimentary bottled water in the room (extremely appreciated.) I can tell that they has put in a great deal of effort into perfecting the guest experience, because I felt that while staying here.Highly recommend with no question, and would come again.
I have been searching for the perfect hotel in the Buffalo area. Most are old and outdated. The Reikart House took my breath away. Everything about this 1 night stay was perfect. The decor is pleasant and fancy. The room is comfortable, clean, and makes you feel special. The shower....oh my! After I showered, I wanted to do it again! The rain fall, the temperature, the water pressure! You just want to rent a room for the shower! The bed...the best nights sleep in that king size bed! Seriously, stay here and you will not be disappointed. The staff is friendly and makes sure your stay is great. Reikart House...I will be back!
I will stay here whenever Im in the city. First of all, customer service is excellent and friendly. The hotel decor has a modern vintage ambience. The rooms and decor are clean and cozy ( the beds are super soft and comfortable). Each room has a doorbell and different lights to indicate needs to housekeeping/staff. This is home away from home.
Stayed here during the soft opening and have to say the hotel hits high marks on all measures. The restored hotel is close to the airport and includes shuttle service. Not just any shuttle, but via an Escalade. Inside the hotel, the lobby is rich in detail and furnishings, melding charm from yesteryear to modern luxuries. My Club room was immaculately furnished with a built-in fireplace, a rare feature in hotel rooms. What sets this hotel to a higher level are the people, from check-in to the Butler/Conceirge service in the Club rooms (only 5) to the restaurant staff, there is a welcoming feeling that makes this a must stay for those in Buffalo or the Niagara region.
It was my husband’s 50th birthday ! I had rose petals in a heart shape on bed! Wine and cheese and crackers, Hot chocolate and sugar cookies in the room before we arrived. The fireplace was on and it was very cozy& inviting! I even have had a great gift box the room filled with goodies! It was very clean, well decorated & the staff was very polite !Chelsea at the front Desk was amazing !! Very amazing experience ! We will definitely recommend this place and will stay again!
I was delighted by the elegant and inviting decor and furniture in the lobby and our room, marveled at the soft sheets (including duvet) and comfy bed, enjoyed the classic shower and toiletries and snuggled into the luxurious bath robe! One of my new happy places is the large fireplace in the lobby savoring a new fashioned cocktail. Great value for this gem of a hotel!
What an exceptional place to stay - so stylish, modern and comfortable. The property is beautifully designed on the inside and outside. Beautiful decor and exceptional rooms. The beds are comfortable and welcoming, and the bathrooms are elegantly designed for maximum comfort. You truly feel like you are at home when staying at the Reikart House. I will only be staying here whenever I am in Buffalo! Wonderful experiencing and would highly recommend this property to anyone!
An out of the ordinary hotel with large rooms. Staff is courteous and always smiling. We found the room to be very clean and well presented. We even had a sock monkey visitor waiting for us however the purchase price was a little bit of our limit. The old keys at the entrance of the hotel made me remember the Stephen Kings Outlook Hotel however the experience was much more pleasant. The area is not highly populated so not much traffic. Will definitely stay there at our next visit to Buffalo.
An amazing gem of a hotel. Reasonable rates and impeccable service that would be expected of any Tribute Hotel. The daily breakfast was phenomenal and being attached to one of the better restaurants in the area is a huge plus. After a long day on the road, this is the perfect hotel for business travelers. My only complaint is the speed of the internet. I was not trying trying to stream or upload, however I found it nearly impossible to use some business applications due to the weak bandwidth. Minor issue for me, however this could be a big issue if you are trying to have a business meeting.
I have nothing but amazing to things to say about the Reikart House. Everything from the staff to the tiny sops brought me joy! I usually have a tough time sleeping anywhere other than my bed, not at the Reikart House! The beds and sheets had to have been crafted with the feathers of angels.
I Enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It felt very homey. The morning staff that we’re at the check in desk were all welcoming but the evening staff at the desk were not. They had attitudes and made me not want to be at that hotel. There isn’t much parking in front of the hotel. Half of the bed was extremely comfortable the other side was squeaky and not so comfortable.
This hotel is simple yet elegant. The rooms are classy with beautiful lighting, comfortable bed and have an overall great space. My favourite part of the hotel is the lounge area. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the partner restaurant Jazzboline is delicious!
This place is beautiful. I have never had rooms that have door bells. I can press a button that shows green outside my door to tell the help my room needs cleaning. There is also a button that is red to let the help know do not disturb. I can see from the hall my room is clean because a white light show on the outside. Pretty cool place.
I stayed at the Reikart House for two nights in a deluxe king room. It had a gorgeous bathroom with a large walk-in shower with good water pressure. The main room had a gas fireplace and an Alexa, both of which made the experience unique. The furniture and coffee table made for a nice sitting area for watching a great digital TV with HBO. The bed was ultra comfortable, making for a great nights sleep. I was there on business but the room was all pleasure!
This hotel is stunningly redesigned, it’s essentially a new hotel. The decor and the ambience are elegant yet comfortable. The room is large and sooo comfortable. The rooms have doorbells 😱The restaurant menu is varied. I love the lunch menu and the options; great value for the portions and choices. The staff always friendly, helpful, and professional.Con: at the time, Fall 2017, there was no laundry room or ATM.I’m definitely making this my go-to hotel whenever I’m in town.
Reikart House was fantastic. It was quiet, well staffed and just as beautiful as it appeared in the online photos. The rooms were fantastic and the common areas were wonderful. There was light jazz and the smell of vanilla waffles piped into the lobby area. Not a family destination, so it was very quiet and clean. A great escape for couples without children or those traveling for business.
The Reikert experience exceeded my expectations. I especially want to acknowledge Xavier and Marty who are exceptional employees. They provided comfort, support, and joy to my family during a time of sadness for us. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. The Barnes Family
I am so happy I stayed here. Almost nothing not to love. The room, decor, food, staff all charming and impressive. Only drawback is the gym is small and has only recumbent bike, no upright. Otherwise, they have done a lovely job making a sparkling, luxury property thats also fun.

2022-06-01We stayed over Memorial Day weekend 2022. We were greeted with smiles and a lovely welcome. This always sets the tone for me when I visit a hotel. The hotel beautifully decorated, and our room was spacious and clean. Our favorite part of our visit, besides the free warm cookies, was our (Choice of) free breakfast. Not only was the menu full of delicious options, but the service was fantastic. We really got to know Veronica and Ashley during our 4 breakfast visits. They were so friendly, professional, and always ready with a hot pot of coffee. We loved chatting with them, and thought they were great ambassadors for the Marriott brand. We will stay at this hotel again!

2022-05-09I was looking for a clean, comfortable local spot for a solo weekend getaway and I found it at Reikart House. The hotel is exquisite- beautiful, impeccably clean, and my room was perfectly appointed with a nice view, too! As my first post-pandemic stay, I was nervous about checking into a room that wasnt cleaned properly but mine was spotless. The only downside was there was no available room service. Jazzboline restaurant is adjacent to the hotel, which is great but it is expensive and you have to pick it up in-person. The staff was friendly, helpful, and accommodating all weekend. I will definitely stay here again!

2022-01-02I did not enjoy my stay. I stayed for a week this past December, while visiting family and working remote. The hotel appears upscale at first glance and I had hopes for a quality breakfast and relaxing stay. I was very wrong. The breakfast was pretty bad. While I received breakfast vouchers daily, the all of the choices on their grab and go menu were microwaved items or packaged/processed items that werent very appetizing. $3 for an almond bar. $7 for a microwaved Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwich. $5 for a can of soda in their lobby. $5 for a box of M&Ms. $3 for two old, hardboiled eggs from their fridge. I gave up on breakfast after the second day of my stay, and started going to Tim Hortons down the street. There was no small bottles of shampoo available; all I had were small packets to squeeze on my head. This isnt to mention of course how much they hounded me over the mask policy. On one occasion, I was alone in their lobby attempting to have coffee and work quietly on my laptop, and their concierge traveled across the room to make me put a mask on. I then left to return to my room, only to find the hotel manager having a meeting in her office with an employee, both without masks. Hypocrisy. I could go to any cafe down the street to sit and enjoy coffee without a mask if needed; instead this hotel hounded me incessantly. I felt constantly watched and uncomfortable. The only positive was the bed, which was pretty good. The fridge was tiny and there were not many other amenities. I think this place is massively overpriced and wouldnt recommend it at all.

2022-06-28We live in Connecticut. My wife said lets go to Niagara Falls. I chose to stay about 25 minutes from the falls at the Reikart House. I was apprehensive. Well, it was GREAT. Things are just done right there. When we got to the room she said, you finally dug into your pocket, and I love it.Staff was great, Bed was great.

2022-04-10Second time staying here for a girls “staycation” and once again didn’t disappoint. Inviting atmosphere from the second you walk in. Excellent service, clean, updated rooms, comfortable beds, cute fitness center and quiet stay! Tried another hotel and ended up leaving to return to Reikart instead. Glad we did! Next time will stay here from the start!! Highly recommended.

2022-06-23Very nice. Employees were all very courteous and service went smoothly. Steak was in a huge portion and cooked well. Vegetables and potato serving were small. Large party but the staff had no problem keeping every one served in a timely manner. Area & facilities were all very clean.

2021-12-30Disappointing quality and serviceThe first room I was provided had what appeared to be dried blood stains on the bed sheets. I was then moved to the room next door; only they didn’t adequately note this change with staff because every time I ordered breakfast service - I had to re-explain why my room had changed. Housekeeping misses quite a bit when servicing the rooms. I repeatedly had to request my room be serviced, and each time it was - there was something amiss (toilet paper or tissue not replaced). I was also given stained bathroom towels during my stay. While apologies are nice, this is the bare minimum and nothing was done to right the several issues with my stay. I enjoyed my previous stay at this establishment but will not be staying again the next time I am in town visiting family.

2021-09-25Love this hotel! Beautifully decorated from the lobby, seating area in the lobby for gathering and hanging out, to the rooms. Comfortable bedding, beautiful bathrooms - love the tile floors and shower. Door bell system is really a great accessory for having your room cleaned to Do Not Disturb. Every hotel should have that system! Staff is friendly and professional. Only disappointment is no hot tub or pool but you can use the one at the neighboring hotel with the staff setting it up.

2022-03-30If I could live in this hotel I would move in tomorrow. The rooms are gorgeous, the beds and pillows are beyond comfy, the lobby is beautiful, the staff is friendly and accommodating. I cant say enough!!! Its got to be Buffalos best hotel by far. Go!! Enjoy!!! Relax! If it had a pool it would be Nirvana!!!!

2021-09-10We stayed one night at the Ricart house and wish that we had stayed there for our entire visit in the Buffalo area. The hotel staff was exceptional. The front desk agent Found a joining rooms for our two reservations without us asking. In the morning, another front desk agent was very helpful in providing us with recommendations of things to do for the day. I loved the luxurious and elegant feel of the rooms and the quietness inside the room. The bed was very comfortable, though I never like the soft Marriott pillows. The hotel is close to a lot of great restaurants in the quaint town of Williamsville. It is also easy access to downtown Buffalo.
