Remedy Diner is the ultra-ratchet, late night diner experience Ive been looking for since high school. Breakfast around the clock, greasy fries, burgers, full bar... This place has it all. The menus are beat up and the customers who stumble in after the bars close in LES are beat up too. (Sometimes, though, thats exactly what youre looking for.) The service is very attentive and our waiter was more than happy to ask the chef to make me a patty melt, even though they dont offer one on the otherwise extensive menu. The burger was cooked perfectly medium-rare, just like I asked. The rye bread was perfectly toasted and the grilled onions were indeed skillfully grilled and then bedded under a gooey layer of American cheese. Beautiful. With a side of crispy onion rings, I dont think Ive had a better diner meal in NYC. Even better, no stomach aches after (which is usually the case when I splurge like this). Maximum yum.
Today I went with my sister and her two children for breakfast. We had asked if the granola had any nuts in it due to high nut allergy for one of the kids. We where told no nuts. Good thing she checked before giving to the child with the nut allergy because it contained a mixture of nuts and it would have been really bad if he had eaten it. To end up hospitalized for being falsely informed. We always spend over $100 when we go. Service seems to be in a dazed being older and not really friendly with guest but very talkative with co workers. It’s been over 5 years since I’ve seen culture diversity of the servers. It be great so see again. We been going here for 10 years since I have lived down here. Chef skills are improving with the taste and quality. We love this spot.
This is a place near home where I can talk and catch up with my daughter or my mom. The food is good and not expensive, the service always wonderful of course Latin people yessss, the best creating services.I love the steak and eggs and the orange juiceThe French toast is very big, I suggest to shareJust keep on eye in the reservation normally at brunch is very full 😋
Bro…. I ate raw chicken. They re-made it , no problem. I asked for a discount.. they tried to argue me down about it. I work in the restaurant business, raw chicken is one of the biggest no no’s ever. It’s an automatic discount minimum, if not a comp. They didn’t care about compensation for consumption raw chicken. I spoke to the managers and they were both disgustingly rude. I’m a youngster, I do not complain at all, but this was vile. I will be getting in touch with higher ups. Enjoy :)
This place is amazing. Came here because clinton st baking st had a 2 HOUR WAIT. Never looked back. The disco fries here could cure any illness I’ve ever had. The wait staff? Cute as heck. They gave us the brunch special before 11. Made US feel special. Pls come here.
I had to do this review while sitting in this restaurant today Saturday May 21, 2022. I asked a waiter for water while eating my food and he just brushed me off as if I was a fly buzzing around him. Then I asked the young lady at the door and she brushed me off as well. Horrible customer service here. Great food, bad service. Will not come back, because of the customer service only. The 2 stars was strictly for the food.
Great art nouveau decor, very attentive service, large menu. We had burgers which were exceptional, very tasty. Quite extensive menu. Would love to go back to try more things on the menu. Being from Australia it is just how we would expect a classic American diner to be
I went for a Togo cup of coffee. Told the lady 3 times, small coffee with milk only. I get 2 blocks down to get on the bus, take a large sip of coffee with tons of sugar. Im a freakin diabetic hence why I was clear coffee with only milk. Not milk and sugar.. Never again.
Wings were no good. Saggy, not crispy , felt microwaved , sauce tasted cheap. Please learn to make great wings and you have wing lovers flock your way. Invest in good sauce over melted butter.Gyro was just okay , salad was salty from the feta cheese, and fries were okay. If your sober I guess is not the place to eat. Only good thing this place has is that’s open 24 hours. Didn’t try the deserts so can’t say anything yet.
Classic diner decor, great brunch and service! Huge portions. We got a monte cristo and a loaded fluffy omelet with crispy hash browns and couldnt finish them. Should have split an entree. They must have asked us if we wanted more coffee about 3-4 times :) The corner location and windows all around made for nice people watching and bright atmosphere. Great music too: Johnny Cash, Elvis, etc.
The food was ok, the fried chicken was burnt as if they took it out of a frozen box and popped it in an oven. Same with the ribs, seems like they just warm it up and then threw sauce on it. Good spot if you are just coming out the club and need food immediately....(which was my case)
Horrible. Second time here and (again) the service was really bad and food was barely edible. I cant remember the last time I forced myself to eat The food I was paying for. My tuna melt had AN ENTIRE ONION cooked INTO it. It was so overpowering and gross. See photo. My husband had a chicken club sandwich and the chickens was super over seasoned. I dont know why it has other decent review (I suspect they were bought). Note that we are New Yorkers and have never experienced anything like this food.
Disgusting. I ordered a Filet Au poivre. Has a disgusting smell. Barely even touched it and I’m getting charged $30 for something I didn’t eat nor did I enjoy at all. I ask for the manager to give my something else, he tells me that he can’t give me anything else because the steak is too expensive, as if it’s my fault that I picked out something that was nasty. It is his job to make my dining experience as comfortable as possible. So I tell him since I can’t pick something else, that I want my money back. He proceeds to tell me that he can’t give me a refund but he’ll only give me a 10% discount which was only $3 less. The utter disrespect. Don’t go to this place and waste your time and money.
Pretty good diner. Nice, clean atmosphere with lots of seating. Friendly, swift service. Its missing that magic factor with flavor but its a decent place to get the greatest hits of breakfast food when youre hungover, or dont want to wait for a table at Clintons. Huge portions, good value. Coffee could be better.
Affordable comfort food with a nice atmosphere. The staff was super friendly and the food was good. There are plenty of options for whatever youre craving, and the deserts are amazing! My only suggestion to the restaurant is the bathrooms could definitely use more attention more often.
This was a great little diner very friendly staff and the food was fast and warm. thank you for the great service and the great memories to the best of you and to all your customers safe travels to everyone and mask up and be safe. be kind to others. from NM to NY with much love.
The food was alright. It was overcrowded at the time I went and may as well have been sat at the same table next to mine as the tables were literally, maybe three inches apart which was surprising given the pandemic were in currently. The menus were also falling apart and damaged.
Went with my family and husband and son to catch up on old times we spent way more money than we should have but overall the waitress we had was very rude they was rushing us out even had security approach us at our table even though we haven’t finished our last drinks it was ridiculous waitress even cursed at us when we was leaving in front of my son. Worse experience ever at a diner and if I could give a quarter of a star I would ! Don’t recommend this place at all and will never go back!
Great place to chow down. Came here after the wait at Clintons said itd be an hour. Best decision ever. The vibe is chill, servers are nice and the food was on point. Their breakfast options and desserts are well made and really tasty. Very happy we stopped in and would definitely recommend.
I was so hungry went for lunch and ordered a philly cheese and onion rings … the philly cheese sooo soggy no salt no taste and fell apart.. the onion rings were from a previous order and re-fried . to DISGUSTED HAD TO vomit literally. My god how can they serve things and call it food. Unprofessional and zero supervision that cares. Never again .. had to throw all away after $16 plus tip. Shame on you all . Date 11/12/21 at 1:45 pm
This diner is a solid choice for food in the city! Definitely underrated. I’ve tried their fries, Reuben sandwich, pancakes, and hamburgers, and it’s all been quite good. I especially like their Reuben sandwich. When I say that they are generous with their portions, I mean it! Most people will need a box to take leftovers. The pricing is one of the most affordable I’ve seen in Manhattan. You get great bang for your buck here.It doesn’t get terribly packed unlike some of the very popular places in the city so it will be a nice change of pace. The service was also good; our waitress was nice and highly attentive to us.8/10, solid recommendation for good American food with big portions on a budget.
READ EVERYONE ELSES REVIEWS. SAME AS THEIRS… FOOD NEVER CAME!!!! Called restaurant twice. Rude answers and no one spoke English. Then the restaurant blocked my number after my second call of politely asking where my dinner was. VERY disappointed I wish I could give this place 0 stars.
FILTHY BATHROOMS! ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!! I COULDNT FINISH MEAL BECAUSE THE STENCH TOOK MY APPETITE AWAY.I asked for the manager and told him how filthy and foul smelling the bathrooms were and his response… “I just got here 10 minutes ago.”If their bathrooms are that filthy, I’m afraid to see the kitchen.Never again
How am I just finding out about this spot?!? I guess nearby Katz unfairly steals all its thunder, but Remedy serves classic diner fare, not delicatessen. Very different things. Plus no ticket system to trip up every tourist in the city.Great for soaking up all the alcohol you polluted yourself with at Mercury Lounge or Rockwood since its a 24 hour joint. Puts a nice cap on a fun night.Had my first Ruben there. How I keep my Native New Yorker status with this type of lame ass behavior is beyond me. Huge portion and delicious. The fries were something special as well. Extra crispy. No salt and definitely no ketchup needed. As much as I wind up at Rockwood Music Hall without eating, I will definitely be hitting up this place again.
A very busy spot on a Sunday morn, but dont let the line scare you! The staff and servers run like a well-oiled machine, quickly putting butts in seats so everyone can experience the delicious food and drink, which in the morning includes a Blood Mary or Mimosa along with a hearty breakfast that includes an assortment of Benedicts, waffles and omelettes. Great people watching and a cool, 50s diner vibe.
Very average service and food. Not recommended for second visit. Asked to get well done on the home fries, the waiter said Oh, I couldnt guarantee for that request cuz is busy now. What! Really?? Sounds ridiculous. I pay for my meal and I want how it should be cooked. Was really an awful dining experience and didnt enjoy it at all!!!!!
Weve order from here a lot - today they sent the order without the usual sides, and it didnt indicate on the Seamless menu what was included and not included. I called to ask and the man I spoke with was rude and argumentative - he made no effort to be polite or address my concerns.
Usually good, fast service; tends to be crowded and busy during weekend brunch. Sometimes the kitchen will run out of a component or dish and not tell the diner until the rest of the meal has arrived.Revised: in the past two years, the quality of ingredients and preparation has fallen off. The kitchen has reduced the salt it uses in cooking, diminishing the flavor of the meals. This remains a good place to bring a group, yet the meals rarely satisfy.
Steak wasnt seasoned at all and overcooked. The bread and the soups that you usually get as appetizers were good, especially the bread which felt very fresh. The most flavorful dish was the Mac&Cheese that came with prosciutto, very yummy. The server ended up removing the steak and even apologized for the issue, so the service was really good.Overall a good experience, the portions were more than good sized
Service wasnt great, but it wasnt bad either. My husband got the grilled chicken club triple decker sandwich which he enjoyed, but it came out of the kitchen at least 5 minutes before my spinach pie. Dont waste your money on the spinach pie... the crust was soggy and the spinach filling had enough vinegar in it that it tasted like collards with vinegar instead of spinach.
Great spot to grab really good food. Menu is pretty extensive for a diner. Remedy will now be my go to when staying in the area again. Staff was courteous and kind. We had yogurt pafait, which we were pleasantly surprised with the amount of fresh fruit it came with. Fruti salad and oatmeal were as expected. Omelets were amazing and plentiful. My wife had the egg white veggie and I had the make your own, ham, cheese and tomato. Kid had pancake and waffles. My 5 y.o. state the waffle were lime taking a bite out of heaven. Cant wait to return.
I Loveeee this place! The food is AMAZING and one of my friends described it best saying current day modern diner.Im giving 4 stars instead of 5 because prices can be misleading. I came their for lunch and between 12-4 they have special lunch prices (or so I thought). I ordered the Eggplant parmesan and it should have only been $12/$13(lunch special price stated on the menu), but I was charged the dinner price of $18. I probably could have brought this to their attention but I didnt - so just be careful with their prices is all my saying. All in all, a wonderful diner and I plan on coming again and hopefully that error doesnt happen again when I come for lunch because if so Ill definitely be saying something and I recommend you do too if it happens to you.
Was visiting NYC, this was close to my stay. Wanted pancakes for breakfast and this was the place for that. Food was fresh. I only wished I took pictures, but I was hungry 🤪... I was surprised of how big the portions were. Recommend 100%. Would come back on my next visit.
After seeing the line out the door and down the block at Katz’s we came here. Our table had French onion soup, cheese fries with side of brown gravy, Philly cheesesteak sandwich, iced tea, Key lime pie, chai tea. Everything was great. Everybody liked what they ordered. Great place to get out of the cold. Booth was large, but the seat cushions had long lost their cushion, not comfortable at all. This diner needs a refresh.
We ate at Remedy Diner 2 days ago and my wife asked if the Turkey Sandwich was real hot turkey & not cold cut because she didnt want a cold sandwich, we were assured it wasnt cold. It was served as if the Turkey was in the freezer. After we complained, the waiter said I can fix it for you. He then came back with what he said was a new sandwich and it was put in the microwave. The plate was hot and the sandwich turkey was lukewarm to very cold. My wife didnt eat it & I told the waiter we would have it to go. We paid our bill and walked out. Right outside the door , my wife tells me she is not eating that sandwich. I walked back in and asked for a refund. The manager was called and he said he could not refund me because my wife paid it with her credit card & he couldnt refund it to me. I told him that it was paid in cash, but because she handed it to the lady at the register he again said he couldnt refund me. I was respectful & spoke to him on the side. He responded arrogantly and refused to give me the money. He even continued by the register in front of customers who were waiting to pay. After I explained that she continued home, he said only my wife could get the refund & even said to call the police if I want. Well I should have because every table & booth had people in them & restaurants are currently at 35% seating capacity. This refusal to refund went on for 10 minutes. I called my wife, she returned & he gave her a partial refund because she had eaten some of the fries, so he deducted $7 from what was supposed to have been refunded. He was never apologetic, but instead was very nasty. As I shared my experience with friends in the neighborhood, I heard multiple horror stories including several of partially cooked chicken served. I would NEVER return there again. There are too many outstanding restaurants to eat at in the L.E.S. with well cooked food, delicious flavors and excellent customer service.
Dependable Dining, Remedy aptly dubbed is the perfect city diner. Its a place you can go any time of day and they will feed you warm soup and a chicken parm burrito smothered in thousand island dressing. That wasnt a suggestion as much as menu mind-bending, which for some is the fun of a diner. If you can think it, you can eat it. Highly recommend.
$2 de caff coffeesome of the new york jazzreal nyc dinner but not dirtyfood is okay yacake chocolate cakei had one time before my bdaywas ok , ya had it with coffeearound 4:12ambig fan of matzo ball soupi dont know if they use chicken stock fatbut its a nice night capya . 24/7sit at the counterorder a bacon cheese burgerhad a nice date herealso met a friendthey let me leave keys at countervery friendly . helpful . thanks !
I went to this restaurant for breakfast this morning. After explaining to staff that I currently have a disability which was visibly clear as 8 was also using a walking device, the hostess allowed me to sit in a booth which. After I made my way to the seat and sat down she told me that the manager who refused to provide his name, told her to have me move and I couldnt sit there. He was disrespectful and this establishment failed to follow guidelines for customers with disability. This must be investigated.
Everything you would want from a diner-- familiar menu options but with elevated variations, such as the steak jalapeño quesadilla. The chicken tenders were delicious & crispy, didnt seem straight-from-the-freezer like most diners. Sauces were also high quality and the servers offered them without us asking. Great service all around. The prices were very reasonable and the portions generous. I would look forward to coming back
Early bird gets the worm, they say. In this case, however that can be debatable. I walked in on a early Sunday morning and as you can imagine there was not many people. I can say that Covid restrictions are very well in place and I was seated immediately. Unfortunately, when I was sat down, my table wasnt the cleanest, but my utensils were shining. The service was a bit slow, especially for there being so few people. Once I got the food I ordered it was average but in a good way, not too much or too less of anything. The decor overall was nice and it seemed like a chill place to eat.
What a fantastic place i was going 2 order some food and food break food for my dad and i got srammbled eggs , rice pudding , baked potato , pancakes and man oh man did they excede my expectation AMAZING AMAZING food 100% what i neeed for my dad no salt and it comes with crackers Ummm delcious by far BEST PLACE To EAT IN NYC open 24 hours THANK U GUYS AGAIN FOR THA AMAZING JOB #GODBLESS .
We wouldnt have minded that the food was mediocre if it wasnt so expensive. The thing that really did us in though, is that we were asked to hurry up and leave mid meal, because they wanted to sit another party. So we had to rush to eat. Paid 50 for two omelets, and coffee after waiting for 25 minutes to be seated.
I love this place! It is very clean, all the staff wears their masks PROPERLY. They are extremely attentive and always ask if you need extra napkins, more hot coffee, etc etc. Food is also really good and comes out quick. We love coming here and will continue to do so! Thank You Remedy!
Dining in during a pandemic was really hard for me but the staff made sure I was comfortable with where I was sitting and the food was terrific. My waiter was very friendly and the service was excellent. Being from New Jersey I’ve eaten in a lot of diners and this is one of the best. Highly recommend!
Subpar food, ordered a below average turkey burger that came with undercooked fries and a pickle that they probably brined in urine…how do you get pickles wrong? Also what kind of diner doesn’t have breakfast food at all times? The place was dirty too and don’t even get me started on the bathroom
Two stars because we waited 35 minutes before I bicthed and asked whats up. No satisfactory answer. Asked to speak to manager and waited. Finally after 40 minutes, food arrived. Bacon was raw had to be sent back. I believe if you cant put food out within 20 minutes, let costomer know. No hart felt apologie. No a happy camper.... : (
Great staff and great food. Love it! Traditional Diner with a nice atmosphere. We had a nice talk with some NYPD cops right next to us. Huge portions and every menu i as elected tastes perfect. Thanks for this nice evening and the traditional food. Till next time! Thx
What a great neighborhood diner. Had all the diner favorites served in the classic diner setting of vinyl booths and tables. My friend and I were hungry and ready to chow down. She had the steak and eggs. The steak was perfectly medium rare and the eggs perfectly over easy. I had the hash (crispy) and soft scrambled eggs. The fries were crisp and soft on the inside. If you dont want to wait over an hour to be seated at the Clinton Baking Company, hop over to the Remedy Diner. Its 2 blocks over and the food is just as satisfying and delicious.
It depends on what food you order here. The chicken with waffle was mediocre. The waffle and chicken had powdered sugar and cinnamon on top, with a slice of orange, butter and syrup on the side. The waffle was decent but the three pieces of chicken tender were dry, flavorless, and hard to chew. The omlette with avocado and tomatoes was good, with it being soft and a bit moist (compared to the dry chicken tenders). The hash browns (includes diced peppers) was okay, it having a good mix of crispy and moist pieces.I did not try it but the cakes on display looked like they were sagging. There was a good amount of seating and single occupancy restrooms (at least 4). The staff was attentive.
Food was ok, had breakfast and my scrambled eggs were not that great but at least the bagel was really good. The reason that i gave it one star is that our waiter was super unfriendly and we had to wait fairly long for average food in an empty diner.Waiter just ignored us and told us to take a look at the menu when we asked a question.Even though the food was not bad I simply cant recommend having breakfast there to anybody. Its simply not worth getting that upset when starting your day.Go find some other place.
I NEVER write any reviews because it’s never been this bad. I waited for my delivery for almost 2 hours and never received anything. I was a loyal customer and I always ordered the same thing ! This unprofessional delivery system they have going on is terrible and the guys on the phone didn’t have any way to solve the issue I asked for a refund because it was unacceptable to have a hungry client waiting and then say there’s nothing we can do for you. I use to dine in and order frequently. Sad too say but service needs to improve.
My second time here but first time was for lunch and this time I came for breakfast. Ordered pancakes with bacon, scrambled eggs and sausage on the side. Also a side of potatoes. Didnt realize that there would be 3 pancakes. It was a lot. My friend ordered the salmon platter breakfast. I ended up taking rest of mine to go. Friendly staff here. Food was good. Would definitely be back.
Nice diner with a wide selection on the menu. Portions are big and they definitely dont skimp out on you. I had the Maryland eggs Benedict. Which was okay, the crab cake was dry and mealy, but the egg and hollandaise sauce were great.A solid choice for food in the area.
Great diner in LES.My first time at this diner was last week and I loved the huge portions of pancakes with warm maple syrup!Typical diner menu, reasonably priced(cash only). They have large dinning area along with bar seating. Service was fast and the place was clean.Definitely will go again to try other things of the menu:)
This is one of the better diners, the food pretty good and the portions are very generous. Even though this place is in Manhattan, the prices are modest, definitely on par with most other diners. I went after midnight for an overdue meal and was pleasantly surprised, I ordered a Jamaican beer and a veggie quesadilla which totally hit the spot .The interior is tidy and clean at least from the diners perspective. Service was good although I got the impression that varies depending on the seniority of the server assigned to your table. I recommend this diner and think you will be satisfied.
With rare exception the service here is always good. The staff are friendly and welcoming and Ive never had to wait very long for my food. The quality and flavor of the food is pretty consistent. They are a bit pricey for diner food, but the quality is there so worth the overall experience. I think its an ideal place to come with a friend or friends.
I love the old school diner atmosphere and the never ending water refills...its vital to stay hydrated with all the illness going around. I had the blueberry pie and the southwest salad ordered by my neighbor was gorgeous! Sadly I did not get a picture. They do serve beer and wine for those who drink and are open 24hours! So, those in between hotel rooms or flights get to be treated but dont forget your cash, the ATM fee is a little high at the front door. They do split the bill!
I ordered using delivery.com, when I input my address this place came up as a place that delivered to me despite the fact I live in Jersey City (didnt notice it was in Manhattan until after I saw a 20 dollar delivery fee) at that point had just finished moving, was starving so just decided to order anyway. I got a text confirmation that my order would arrive in 60-90 minutes. At 130 minutes I finally call, I asked very politely for an update on my order, the guy on the phone was horrifically rude (this is me phrasing this the NICEST way possible) and immediately said we dont deliver to Jersey at this time of day, your foods not coming I say okay, but you confirmed the order? and you couldnt call me to tell me that it wasnt coming? the guy literally just yelled at me ask for a refund, why are you calling I respond with you seriously couldnt just call me to let me know, Ive been waiting for 2 hours for food for the record I am still not yelling, the guy on the phone again proceed to yell at me and literally says I dont care and that he is busy in between reprimanding me for daring to bother him about my food they confirmed the order for, charged me for and I waited 2 hours for... So yea good luck ordering from this place, hopefully you wont get screamed at for asking where your undelivered food is
Going to a traditional US diner was on my to-do list during our trip to New York. It’s something we don’t really have in the UK, and from seeing millions of diners in films from Pulp Fiction to Grease to Dumb and Dumber to American Graffiti, it was something I wanted to check out in a tediously touristy way. Remedy diner was great. It was near our hotel on Bowery and looked like it ticked all the traditional boxes. I was just after breakfast and wasn’t intending to recreate scenes from the movies, so everyone was happy. We were welcomed in warmly after standing awkwardly for a few seconds by the entrance in a typically uncomfortably, British ‘what do we do now?’ way. The staff were really friendly and attentive. The menu is colossal and takes a bit of getting used to if you’re not familiar with New York diner fayre. Food was really good and you get so much plus non-stop coffee refills. If you’re visiting NYC and want to visit a traditional diner, you can’t go far wrong with Remedy, we loved it.
I had breakfast here almost every morning when I visited NYC. Staff was nice and the breakfast was very good. We loved the diner atmosphere. Too bad we didnt come later in the evening. The cakes they had on display looked amazing. The cake display was a little dated but I suppose it blended in with the atmosphere of the diner.
Just recently went here wanting to grab some good breakfast with my mom and they were extremely short staffed.... The same guy handling the front was the same guy bringing out the food and on top of that the food was not hot... They are definitely not what they used to be!
Great place to eat for the traditional American experience. My wife and I have eaten here most mornings before heading out for the day on our 3 week stay. My favourite place to eat if I was honest. The staff are nice and everything we have eaten has been amazing. The servings are huge and fairly priced. Come hungry...
We arrived at around 0300. I noticed that they had closed most of the dinning area for an unknown reason. The wait staff was incredibly slow. They kept bringing us new cups of coffee instead of simply filling the one on the table. The bathrooms were disgusting. The food was completely sub par served on dirty plates.
Very tasty and upscale diner located right in the edge of a neighborhood filled with bars. Great location, great service, and an extensive menu. The oanvkaes are great and enormous. Fries are tasty. Burgers are good but nothing special. Service is wonderful and there are plenty of seats and tables. Really great inside!

2022-04-10Usually restaurants that have such a diverse menu are a red flag, but Remedy Diner nails any and every kind of cuisine! We ordered a little bit of everything off the menu, gnocchi, pasta, quesadillas, salads, pie, sandwiches, dumplings, ect. All were delightful and extremely fresh (at 2am mind you!) very friendly service and great classic atmosphere. Would stop by for a full breakfast, lunch, dinner, or midnight snack.

2022-03-10The diner was very nice and cozy. The food was delicious. Amazing presentation and the staff was awesome. Reason I give 3 stars is because the wait time to get your food is WAAAAYYY too long. It honestly took so long that after a while I didn’t even want to eat there but glad I waited cause the food was good.

2021-11-07The food was good diner food! The weekends it gets super busy so getting served can be very very slow! The servers are very friendly but the food was just not coming out of the kitchen fast enough. It wasn’t cold but the food definitely was sitting in the kitchen waiting to be taken out. Coffee wasn’t flowing. The Bellini were great and the mimosas too! This is a great brunch place. Very vibrant!

2021-12-26I had the greatest truffle Mac and cheese Of my life thus far here on Christmas day too late to be out for dinner. Service was excellent and vibes were impeccable. A true underrated novel fine dining establishment in New York City accessible to all. 🎄

2021-08-15I used to love this place but after todays service I have to say that I am not a fan anymore. My wife ordered a medium cooked skirt steak which, after waiting for 40 minutes, was served well done. In addition, my medium cooked burger was also overcooked. I would have returned both plates to the kitchen but unfortunately, at this point, we were starving. We will not be coming back to this diner anymore.

2021-11-14Remedy has such a nostalgic energy - you feel instantly relaxed. Came here after seeing a few bands play. It was a late night and the staff were so friendly. It’s now one of my favorite diners in the city. We got dessert and French fries - the perfect combination 🙏🏼 So delicious!

2022-05-30Horrible service!!! I asked for a platter and a breakfast sandwich and got charged for Literally everything. Toast, bagel, cheese, bacon. So the platter was 8.99 but you charged for the eggs. Really!! Then the food is very small portioned. Management horrible!!! Don’t waste your time or money. I could have got a better breakfast from a corner store and paid less with a free coffee!!!

2021-10-01This is a lovely diner. I went in for breakfast, just French toast, and it was delicious. The staff was very nice and friendly. The restaurant is very clean. The only negative point was that the restroom was full of graffiti, I imagine that is a result of some kind of vandalism but I don’t understand how they gave up on it. The mirror was so full of graffiti that you wouldn’t see your reflection.I’m still rating it as 5 stars because of the quality of the food, service and price.
