My mother and I visited Remix Market yesterday (2/25/2022) and we loved the store. I found out about the store on Instagram and have been looking forward to this visit for years. I found a perfect mirror for my apartment and was glad to hear they were having a sale as well. Unfortunately, I had a very disappointing customer service experience.The sales associates were blasting music and never greeted us or asked if we needed help. Then, when I found a mirror and was ready to buy, I stood there and had to wait until the employees finished their conversation before they acknowledged me. Sadly to make matters worse, once I purchased my mirror and told the employees I would bring my car around to load it in, an employee suggested that I carry it to my car instead. I am very petite in size and would not be able to carry it on my own and my mother is unable to lift and carry things due to a back injury. Even if all these things were not the case, we had to park 6 blocks away. The sales associate of course doesn’t know this which is fine so I responded that it was cold and I prefer to bring the car around to make it easier. She showed me where the mirror would be when I returned for it (in the entryway inside of the store) before I left. I said great and thanked her.To my surprise, upon returning I find my mirror outside of the store with the store door locked. Anyone could have stolen my mirror as it was completely unsupervised and on a dark street. The store officially closed at 7pm and I returned to the store at 7:05pm (3 minutes after leaving the store). Would it really have been that much trouble to leave the mirror where we agreed it would be when I returned? I was very disappointed and saddened to have this as my very first experience at a store that I was really looking forward to visiting and supporting in the future. During Black History Month no less 👎🏾
As a nonprofit, we were able to pick up a few items for our adventure playground, and were grateful for the Remix Market team who made it super easy. Thank you! We know these items will provide a ton of fun at The Yard.
We had such a great time at Remix! Pedro and Ian are pros. They helped answer any questions we had and gave us some great deals. Their Instagram is only a tease of all they have as the store is packed with hidden treasures. The trunk, rattan side table, coffee table, lamp, artwork, and wooden logs are all an excellent addition to our home.
ReMix market is the place to go for quality used furniture. We bought a sweet set of Scandinavian dining chairs for a great price. Ask for Ashley. She’s the best!!
Great customer service (see photo below!), terrific finds, AMAZING prices! Ive been buying second-hand, pre-loved furniture for the past couple of years. Remix Market is by far one of my FAVORITE places to shop -- they always have new items in store.On top of their high-quality items (& usually negotiable prices), they are also incredibly philanthropic -- they donate a portion of their sales to Habitat for Humanity NYC!Highly recommend :)
I am new to the neighborhood and went to Remix Market for the first time the weekend of their move. I went in search of a dresser, although I didnt find one I also wanted to check out some art and I encountered the art specialist Asa. He couldnt have been more kind, friendly and helpful. He showed me the room with all kinds of art and I found a framed Les Misérables poster signed by the cast (my favorite musical!) and couldnt have been more pleased. I saw Asa again when I paid for my prized possession and he patiently listened to me go on and on about musicals and this poster. I absolutely love this place and Asa was so kind, make sure you ask for him if youre looking for some art!
Selection is awesome, staff are so helpful. In a city where everything is getting more expensive. This place is full of magic. Literally furnished our place for a fraction of the price
Honestly an incredible place - I’ve furnished a large part of my apartment just from here! I come by every week to check out what’s come in and their Instagram does a great job of keeping track of new arrivals and inventory.
Lovely experience, staff was helpful, selection was nice and clean. Lots of space to walk around and browse. Craig and Emily were great help, too!

Priciest, dirty used furniture you can find. Bought a piece labelled as being from Crate and Barrel but upon inspecting it at home it isnt, they just made it up.
Bob is really friendly and knowledgeable about the things in the shop. Some nice gems in there, would totally recommend if you are in the area.
Got this AMAZING brand name (Herman Miller) chair for more than 50% off MSRP. They allowed me to take my pick of the bunch and helped me load it into the car! Albeit the chair is used it was in fabulous condition especially for the price. I paid $250 (+tax) for the chair. Its original price is around $450 upwards to $800! It had some minor staining and scratches but with my Bissel Wet Vac, Oxiclean and a Magic Eraser it literally looks new! (and all the cleaning was done in one afternoon the same day, by myself- a novice! It was also quite satisfying!)What an amazing find and great deal. Will definitely be loving this chair especially with my college courses being completely online now. Surely this thing will last me for years. Thanks so much Remix Market NYC! Its always so fun to browse your IG page AND visit the store front! Will definitely come back and also update with some more pics just so yall can see how amazing this thing looks!
I got 4 chairs here and a couple lamps. Some things are really $$$ but don’t let that scare you! Lots of range in pricing, so many items and they had a sale going on. Great resource if you’re trying to limit your carbon footprint like me :)
Lots of nice stuff for people to purchase to support Habitat , while recycling useable furniture. And the things that dont get sold are offered to other nonprofits which is great. Nice staff too.
Really great place for secondhand items and furniture. Lots of really nice vintage pieces at very reasonable prices. Very nice folks working there as well. Would definitely recommend
I just left there with a wicked all black chandelier! Every person you encounter there is awesome. Warm and welcoming as soon as you walk in. Bonus: they were all awesome and understanding of my rambunctious almost 2yo all over the place…thank goodness! Even my fellow consumers were friendly. THE VIBE! It’s one of those places that is FULL to the brim with stuff you didn’t know you wanted….so.fun. If you have self control, this place is for you. If you don’t, bring a truck! I suggest Home Depot’s truck/van rental for $20/hour if you don’t have resources lol.Update: went in during the daytime this time and the vibe is a little “I mean business”. Kind of a teeny tiny bit off putting but watevs, I’ll stick to shopping in the evenings! Also, the pricing on the clothing is so outta control lol. I didn’t notice the first time. Target, Gap and old navy used stuff for $10 to15 is cray cray. Designer stuff is priced, meh. Stick to the cool furniture unless you see a must have. Ps. The gentlemen and a specific young lady at the desk is TOPS👍🏼

Shop local, shop small and give remix all the stars! I’ve been shopping here since they opened in LIC, and they’ve added so much to the neighborhood. I simply LOVE browsing remix - I come at least once a week, and I usually leave with a treasure in hand. I’ve purchased several statement art pieces for our apartment here, but I am most excited about The epic, signed screen print by Shepard Fairey we scored just today. I’d seen it on Instagram but couldn’t find it in store, but the awesome team member helped me locate it - while the other amazing team member fed my dog a treat. A lot of the joy at remix is the wonderful people who work there, mixed with thrill of discovery! Love this place- LIC is better with remix in it! ✌️

We looooove Remix market! We discovered them during the pandemic when the Materials for the Arts shut down. We were sent to Remix as an alternate while the MFTA warehouse was on covid pause. We find not only nice furniture but art, and even blank canvases that we utilize for art classes and workshops. We are so very thankful for Remix and all that they do!

Even if youre not in Queens, this is a must visit! You never know what you are going to find here, treasure cove. I never leave empty handed, forget the anxiety of shopping for furniture with staff breathing down your neck and being pushy. They are very friendly here and will let customers roam and shop freely. Asa is truly a gem, he is the most patient and very knowledgeable with their art collection. Really a pleasure to shop from and makes the experience that much better due to the customer service he and the rest of the staff provides. Sign up for their loyalty program and start adding up those points while furnishing your home!
This place is amazing, I came for the tv wardrobe sale and the associates were very helpful and they assisted me while shopping. Overall, very easy process. 10/10 would come again.

I recently moved to the neighborhood and was looking for something cheap and reliable. I came in near closing. I quickly found what I wanted and paid for it planning to have a delivery the next day. Ace was very friendly and helped me with ease. I came came back the next day to buy a couple more items then have someone with a van deliver the stuff to my new apartment which is super close by. A different guy was there who didnt have the same friendly and genuine tone as Ace. The night before after I purchased everything and ace marked all the items I already paid for with my name and number on a large sticky note on each item. The table wasnt out in the open but the chairs were. The guy basically said I had to find the table myself in the crowded pile of a dozen or more tables . Surprised, I asked him why he didnt know which table I had already purchased. He responded angrily saying that since he wasnt here the day before I had to help him find the table. Truth is I saw a picture of it that ace showed me but didnt actually see the table in real life. I jokingly asked he if he actually worked there as its definitely his job to know or at least know how to find the item I ordered without me having to dig through their warehouse myself. He had a pretty unwelcoming tone with me through the rest of my time there which made the experience not as pleasant. Id give it 10 starts but customer service is super important! Thank you Ace

Great market! They have really awesome finds, solid furniture. My girlfriend and I found a beautiful solid wood dresser in great condition that we repainted/repurposed. The staff is all extremely friendly and very helpful! Also work with you on prices. Highly recommend.
Amazing experience! We were able to get multiple new pieces for our home that have turned out to be perfect. James in particular was incredibly helpful. Overall, it’s an amazing mission and an amazing group of people that run the company. Looking forward to hearing back for anymore furniture we may need.
I cannot begin to express how lovely my experience was with Remix Market NYC. My roommate and I went to see a couch we were interested in that was posted on the Remix Market NYC Instagram account. Ian and Asa from Remix Market NYC were SO friendly and helpful — the type of people you want to grab a beer with. They offered a really fair price and helped us find a very affordable delivery option for the couch. In just a few short hours we the couch was at home in our apartment! If youre looking for furniture, I highly recommend Remix Market NYC. They also have a wide inventory of smaller items like art, glassware, boardgames, etc. Overall, 11/10 experience!

We had a great shopping experience here. Pedro gave us a deal on a table and a pair of chairs. This was our last stop on a full day of used furniture shopping in Brooklyn and Queens and Remix easily had the best selection. Everyone was polite and helpful and they also have a moving service if you need help getting it home. If youre shopping for used furniture, stop here first.
Ive been in the market for a new desk chair after the one I bought last year ended up not being comfortable enough. I stumbled up RemixMarketNYC when looking on OfferUp and saw a great Knoll chair for sale. I rushed there (I didnt even think to email but you should before going because I was told they do check the inboxes regularly) only for the chair to be gone. Pedro and Todd looked high & low for it, but no dice (it wasnt marked as sold, mistakes happen). I started looking around because the place is chock-full of goodies and really nice stuff! I stumbled up a perfect substitute which just came off the truck and I ended up getting for less than the Knoll! You cant beat getting what youre looking for at a great price and, the proceeds go to a great organization like Habitat for Humanity. The staff were super nice and accommodating as well. If youre in the market for furniture Id highly recommend checking RMNYC out.
Remix market is a true gem! They have amazing prices on high quality furniture. You honestly can’t even get this good of a deal on Craigslist. Last week I got 2 designer chairs for a tiny fraction of their value. The people at Remix not only gave me a ridiculously reasonable price but they wrapped the furniture to make sure it traveled well. They also recommended a great delivery service (RDS Same-Day Delivery) that was fast and just as reasonably priced. I recommend everyone visit the shop and closely follow their social media accounts!
Really great place. Lots of great stuff to look at even if you dont buy anything. Also very helpful with pricing, I went to buy a set of lamps, we tested them and it turned out 1 wasnt working so he dropped the price and gave me the broken one for free Incase I could salvage any parts from it. Really happy with the place over all

Love this place - great people and great furniture. I think we got slightly used West Elm chairs that would have cost us $800 new for $100 plus an uber ride. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for slightly used but still high quality furniture!

2021-11-16A secondhand gem! Remix has really cool furniture and home goods, and is run by some really kind folks. I got this beautiful velvet wingback chair recently. (The cat didnt come with the chair.) Also got this really well made, solid oak coffee table thats perfect for my small space.

2021-11-16This place is great. Tons of hidden gems. They have sales often for holidays or just randomly, and they will also negotiate prices which is incredible. Got a couple of bedside lamps for $50 total— usually one these lamps will run you that alone. Recommend for anyone looking to furnish their home!

2022-03-16Been meaning to write a review for some time as Remix Market in LIC is seriously the best local thrift/second hand furniture in NYC right now! Everyone that works there is super helpful! I always find special pieces whether it be furniture, smalls or art for decorating jobs and for my own apartment. Love that they donate to Habitat for Humanity as well as NYC non profits in need of decor. Their online inventory is kept up to date and social media is on point! Definitely check them out!

2022-02-12If youre a treasure hunter who doesnt like to dig, or risk items falling on your head when searching for an item (like at some other similar stores), this is the place for you! Theres always new inventory thats well curated, the staff is super friendly helpful, and funny. The prices can be incredibly affordable especially compared to other Manhattan and Brooklyn shops thatll be selling the same thing for 2x-3x the price. Added bonus if you follow them on IG youll always be up to date on the hottest new items. Plus if youre like most New Yorkers who dont drive, they have tons of connects for shipping options.

The people that work at Remix are deeply generous, kind people whose collaboration with Junkluggers has made small nonprofit offices and theaters like us have a more manageable workspace! 2022-02-21A friend of ours told us about Remix Market and I started following them on Instagram quietly waiting for the right item to appear and finally it did. 2 barstools that were the right height, color, shape and bonus points for swivel! Customer service was off the hook with Ashley who had someone get the bar stools down from the very top shelf and she was able to answer all our questions and we never felt pressure to hurry up or to actually buy something. They were super accommodating at our kid who sat in a chair and read his book. 100% yes will shop here again.
