This was my first time coming to this spa, my partner and I got the full body hour massage ! It was lovely! We will be back! It’s very clean inside , the staff is nice and they take their time!If you’re ever in Chinatown / Canal street I HIGHLY suggest checking out this spa! 5 out of 5 stars for sure!
I can not highlight this place enough, I work on my feet all day five days a week, this place has been amazing for years. I come here at least 2 times a month. I am so happy they opened back up, the place is clean, well kept and the service is as always wonderful. I am so grateful covid 19 didn’t close them down for good. Anyone in need of a good affordable massage or foot rub during these difficult times should give this place a try / come back and enjoy. 😭 THANK YOU!!!!
I liked the massage itself, the relaxing music and that I could get a walk-in appointment for an hour later :).What I didnt like is that I had to pay 15 Dollars more than agreed because the masseuse used additional CBD-Oil which I have not understood when she asked me (she didnt make it clear that it costs extra).
I tried Renew Regal Spa based on a friend’s consistently positive experience, and they did not disappoint. From the receptionist to the massage therapist communication was friendly and easy. The massage itself was just what I needed to relieve my quarantine tension and wfh knots. Overall, it was a therapeutic and relaxing experience, and I definitely plan to be back again.
As always, my experience is amazing and all that I expect and more. They are consistent providing service and experience. I really like Allen and Summer, they give great massages - highly recommend! Cary at the front desk is the BEST! He is always courteous and professional. SO glad I discovered this place.
I’ve tried a lot of massage places in Chinatown and in the East Village and Renew Regal Spa is THE BEST. You can tell that providing excellent customer service is really important here. The staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome, opening doors for you, offering water, etc.The massage rooms are clean and well heated. The 60 minute full body massage also includes hot stones, a little face massage, and they make sure to clean the oil off with a hot towel. For such an affordable price ($40 for 60 minutes), this really can’t be beat!I also love that you can call anytime and get an appointment almost immediately!
I have been to several massage places in Chinatown. This is by far the best. The facility is very clean. My masseuse was very courteous, knowledgeable, and corresponded with me to address my needs. In my opinion, these are the keys ingredients to a good massage. Not to mention, you can’t beat the price.
After reading reviews on yelp I decided to try out this spa. My teen daughter and I had been walking for 3 days all around the city and our feet were ready for a treat. I felt a little nervous climbing the stairs but the business was clean. We were able to be together in a room and I when they asked, I requested a strong therapist for myself and a female for my daughter. We had a great time. 30 minutes on the back/shoulders and 30 minutes on feet. It was fabulous. I highly recommend.
This place rocks. I work out with my trainer at Brace Life Studios down the street and come here after to get out all my muscle build up. Recommend for athletes and work out fanatics. Literally coming here weekly. Shout out to Rita and CiCi for being the best massage therapists in NYC.
I regularly go to Renew Regal Spa and highly recommend. After testing a few establishments in the Chinatown area, I was so happy to find this hidden gem!! Up the stairs from Canal you’re elevated to a clean, friendly experience. I love their one hour body work massage that really focuses on high tension spots and includes hot stones always leaves me so relaxed and literally renewed, lol. Couldn’t live in New York without it!
I use to love this place but it seems like the higher the prices get the worse the massages get. The last time I went I left extremely sore because the lady kept pressing on my spine after I asked her to stop several times. Im now pretty sure these people are not licensed to give massages. I was in pain for several days. Its sad because I use to love this place but now I will never go back. My last 4 massages here have been horrible.
Great place with great service. I have been coming here for years. If you’re looking for ambiance and spa amenities, this place is not for you. It’s a simple, no frills, establishment that offers some of the best prices around and knowledgeable, professional therapists. For someone like me, that requires regular “maintenance” this place is a perfect blend of efficiency, quality, and affordability. Highly recommend!
New opening.Nice nice and widely space. Nice lights and clean print.I did a body massage just $36/hours. (Foot massage is $22/h, would try next time)So good price and professional massage. The staffs are very kind and friendly.Got a card. Said 10 hours get 1 hour free.Definitely will back again!!!
A 60-minute body massage for $36, an extra 10 minutes if you check-in on Yelp, strong masseuses, and clean location (cleaner than the Bowery one). They use deep tissue, Swedish, and hot stone techniques. A bit noisy and dim but this place is no frills and youll get an excellent massage.
Ive been here several times. The staff is very friendly and the place is nice an quiet. Sometimes the (i think) chinese people here talk very loud. But thats okay. The one hour foot rub feels very good and is definitely worth it. Also the price 22 dollars is good! I can recommend this spa.
I think the lady who did my full body massage had a personal vendetta against my back. I had to tell her almost every five minutes to ease up. When she wasnt busy breaking the bones in my back, she kept focusing on my buttocks area...a little too much. I told her that wasnt necessary and asked if she could focus more on my back and shoulders. I asked in English and Cantonese but it didnt seem she understood either. I tried pointing but that didnt work either. I guess thats the quality you get for $36. I did enjoy the hot stones though.Im sure there are plenty of other cheap places in Chinatown so I will give those a try before I come back here. I only wish I got the name of my masseuse so that I can make sure NOT to request her.
Being on staycation I wanted to do a spa, so I searched on Google for the top massage spots in Canal St and found Renew Regal on the top of the list with good reviews. Hopped on the train, got off and got out, then I walked in and immediately was taken care of. I paid for the hour full body massage. Rita was my masseuse and I must let the world know that her hands, arms and fingers are gifted! She rubbed the tension off my back and shoulders! Thank you Rita and Renew Regal Spa for a great experience! I will definitely repeat my visit.
This is, hands down, the best spa (and spa chain) in NYC, in Chinatown, at least for me: for $39, I receive a fantastic massage that melts away the pains and soreness brought on from living a busy lifestyle which includes time sitting at a desk and time lifting heavy weights in the gym.

2022-03-16Renew Spa is simply AMAZING! Since the New Year, I decided to take better care of myself and added routine massages into my self-care regimen. Ive been coming almost once a week since my first visit. My masseur has given me some of the most relaxing massages Ive ever received. Also, hes great with time management. Massages never feel rushed or areas ignored. The only con is the massages are never long enough. lol >> +Friendly staff, clean location and FREE massage after 10 visits+

2022-01-03Wonderful experience in New York. The staffs greeted us warmly and provided excellent body works for my girlfriend and me. They kindly asked for our preference, whether male or female massage therapist, whether in the same room or separate room. Definitely recommend to our friends and anyone who needs relaxation.

2022-04-23I’ve come to this place multiple times and really enjoy it here. The ladies will listen to your areas of pain and work on those. Also enjoy their calve massages. Recommend tipping at least 18% since it’s hard work!

2022-04-10Wowww. This place is amazing. The woman who gave me a massage was so skillful, strong and attentive. She even tucked a few tiny strands of hair out from my mask to give me a temple massage without pulling anything. Everyone was very thoughtful and professional. 10/10 I’ll be back 😊
