The guys were great. They arrived on time & went right to work. They were very professional & very nice. I was amazed they installed all my 10 windows in 6 hours. When they were done everything was all cleaned up. I would definitely recommend them.

The design of the door seems to not work within the framing of the house. Seems like an Anderson engineer reviewing the initial design could have proposed alternative designs. After installation we discovered a couple of issues. We contacted Anderson, they came and looked and said they would get back to us. It’s been over a month and no response. I called twice and have not received a response. For the price we pay there should be no issue. In addition, the screen door installed along with the door is very cheep.
I was very impressed with George Hoop and Latchman + crew. They were a wonderful mixture of professionalism, warmth, expertise, courteous and a pleasure to welcome into our home. We were so pleased. Worth the money.
We had four windows in a sliding class door installed. The crew that performed the installation (George, Jay,Justin and Troy) were professional, courteous and did an impeccable clean up afterwards. We couldn’t be more happy with the installation or the window quality.

Totally disappointed in the non-service that we received. We ordered a Patio Door and Picture Window at a cost of $14,648.50 on 06/25/2021.The door and window were finally installed on 10/13-14/2021. During the install the window trim was ruined and new trim was installed but not properly sealed. The strong winds on 1/8/2022 led us to find that the strong draft was from the window sill. Contacted our sales representative on 1/11/2022 who said someone would contact us immediately. Their case of immediate was a week later on 1/18/2022. Due to the storm on 1/16/2022 I had to hire another person to caulk the drafty window. Today, 1/18/2022, Renewal by Anderson finally contacted me to arrange for an appointment on 1/20/2022, nine days being their idea of immediate. I have been told that because an outside person sealed the window they are VOIDING our LIFETIME WARRANTY.Returned 1/27/2022 to seal the window sill and because the outside repair person didnt do anything to the window itself we did not void our warranty.
We’ve used Andersen for windows previously, but most recently got a new door installed. The team was a pleasure to work with from beginning to end! The install was quick, tidy, and they did an amazing job. Would recommend using Andersen to everyone!
Our installers George and Dhani were fantastic. Professional and friendly. They took care to ensure my home was protected and cleaned up after completing the install.
Installation was seamless. It took longer than I expected but the two installers were polite and cleaned up well. They were very concerned about my happiness with their work.
Larchmont and Devanand were professional and extremely informative. They made sure we were constantly updated with the process and progress and continuously checked in for any questions or concerns. They answered every question with clear responses. Its absolutely wonderful to have professionals who are very communicative and makes it a pleasure to talk to working on your home.

Had four old windows replaced with new more efficient windows. Thought I was paying for quality but the windows are more drafty than the ones I had! They look nice i guess....
Just had 22 windows replaced in my log home. We went with full replacement Anderson windows. George and Elmer B. and there crew of 5 did a great job. They had to remove all the old windows and replace all the trim. The carpentry work is beautiful. Each window was reinsulated inside and out. The exterior aluminum trim work also came out great. They completed the job in three days. I would highly recommend this crew to anyone. I paid a premium price but the workmanship and windows are beautiful. As of right now worth every penny.
Beware they do not work with you. My husband and I live in different states because of the military. Its not easy for us to do things together. We are remodeling our house and need to replace all our windows and doors. We dont have a lot of time to get this done. And the refused to meet with us unless we can both be there. Refused to take into consideration our situation. They fall to realize we are the homeowners and the ones who are paying a lot of money. We should be the one who decides who is there.
These windows are expensive, but you get what you pay for. The bay window is of very high quality and is made of fine materials. Ours is oak. Installation took about six hours of constant effort. Renewal by Anderson crew leader, George L., and his partner are craftsmen. I’m very happy with how their effort turned out. The window should be good for a lifetime.Getting skilled people to do the installation is a good part of what you pay for. The window required a surprising amount of assembly. It arrives as a frame and the three windows and all the moulding have to be put together on site. This has to be done just right. The crew also takes care of putting the house siding back together after installation, including bending any aluminum needed for flashing. I didn’t have to do anything except hang the shutters again.The window comes unfinished, though. So be prepared for that, as it’s not an easy job. Take your time and be careful. You’ll end up with a beautiful window. Ours is.
They were on time , friendly , made sure measurement were correct before starting. Very professional . 2 Nd time Anderson has been at our house for installations and can’t ask for a better quality of window and door and the process from start to finish was incredibly easily and everyone is so helpful . Great job ! Keep up the great quality of work . Brian and his crew did a great job and Bill knows what he is doing when he comes out for measurements. He actually made a suggestion on a window and I am glad we changed windows. Love my new windows .

Our experience was very good from the sales representative to installation. The Installers were focused on doing a good job and they did just that. They accommodated my husbands work schedule by agreeing to do his office so that when he returned home his office was ready for him to work in. We are happy with our whole experience. We love the windows what a difference they make in our home.
We had a great experience with Andersen from start to finish. The measurements were precise, the installers were early/on time and left everything very clean, and the windows are high quality. We were very comfortable having them in our home, everyone followed all COVID guidelines. We did ask about pushing our install back because of the uptick in our county but they werent able to accommodate due to lack of warehouse storage (something to keep in mind if youre hesitant).Our salesman was great and we understood its his job- we were turned off by the you have to make a decision right now or lose the promotional price approach with the initial meet/quote. Our project for 5 windows was over $9k so we wanted time before committing to that expense. We took a week to decide and the promotional price was honored which was much appreciated.
The workers were polite and knowledgeable. They even washed the floor before they left. We are very happy with their work and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

Brian and Ezra installed 7 bedroom windows, Rick and Chris installed a bay window in the past couple days for us. Their services are professional. Their works were details and very clean. The saleman is rude and aggressive. $28000 for 11 Windows?? Insane They try to make the appt with both husband and wife to try to push you into making a rushed decision with tons of false promises. Stay away from this company.
Latchman and Joe worked hard all morning in cold sub zero weather to get the job done and nearly froze me out ot my house , but they were able to keep going and finished the job in what appeared to be a professional manner.
From our sales person to the install crew everyone we dealt with was professional, helpful, and great to work with. The install crew were here for 3 days, Brian and Ezra and the other gentleman were on time every day of the install and working from the moment they arrived to the moment they left at the end of a long day. They worked so neatly and through the house in a way that made having my dogs and toddler in the house at the same time easy. Our windows look so great and our house is so much warmer while the heat is kicking on less often. We can’t wait to see the energy savings from having more efficient windows!

Everything was perfect ..., on time, introductions, check for measurements to match the custom door order, preparation of the worksite with plastic dust barrier, drop cloths, calcium carbonate to melt the ice, removal of old door, installation of new threshold foundation, insulation, chalking, interior and exterior moldings,proper review of functioning of doors and lock, clean up, vacuum, debris removal. ... Latchman and his crew Amir, Phil and Phil worked on the coldest day of the winter without complaint ... I cannot stress how motivated and diligent they performed .... every detail like it was a summer day .... After doing some thorough research on different window manufacturers I decided to purchase from Renewal by Anderson because I felt that they had the best quality windows compared with others. They are not the cheapest but you get high quality windows and tremendous service for the cost. The whole process went smoothly from sales to installation. Tyler, George and the rest of their installation team were very professional, detail oriented, and exhibited excellent craftsmanship.

We had our front door and a window above our front door replaced in our home. We were very happy with the process of start to finish, from our Sales Rep to the guys who came to do the work to the office calling after the job was completed! My husband and I are thrilled with our new windows and the crew that installed them. Particularly Latchman, who supervised and made the whole process smooth and stress free. Attention to detail was terrific, and Latchman went the extra mile to repair our old trim and replace rotten sills. They even straightened and realigned our old creaky shutters to make the total job look superb. At the end of the day, he explained what the crew had done and asked if I had any questions. Derek was also excellent, and an easy going, very skilled man.The installation of 25 windows and a patio door took 5 days, Derek and Latchman were the steady crew for all 5 days.The guys followed strict COVID safety guidelines without exception, which added to our piece of mind. They cleaned up beautifully at the end of each day.We would unconditionally recommend our crew in particular and Andersson Renewal windows.
The installers were professional and talked me through any questions I had. They were clean and efficient, made sure to ask me what I preferred, and made a point to be careful with my original trim and the rotodhendron in their way. Their service was expensive, but it was worth it!
My team consisted of Latchman & Ed and two others. They arrived on time they were very pleasant did walkthroughs at the beginning and end and were very thorough and paid attention to details that were important to me. I had 12 windows replaced in my house and switched three double hungs to glider windows so that required a lot more work and the end result was very clean and beautiful the way it opened up the view in those rooms! It was a lot of money to spend but the last Andersen Windows that they removed were still in good shape all wood with no rot and so I felt it was important to keep up the high quality in our home the last one lasted forty years I can only hope these will do the same. To make an investment to help lower heating bills and have the ease of cleaning that the double hungs would offer me compared to the old ones was well worth the investment and this team definitely made it fun for having to spend that much money... I would highly recommend this company and this team again... the people in the office or easy to work with and so was Joe or salesman.
The experience was great from sale through installation. The installation team, including, Rick M. - days 1 & 2, George L. - day 3, and Latchman - all 3 days, were professional and paid careful attention to details. They were respectful of my home and cleaned up well at the end of each working day. They even put all my trim work back up that had to be taken out for installation. For context, we had sliders and windows replaced. One set of regular windows was replaced with bay windows and 2 kitchen windows were replaced with one. My husband, who worked construction for many years, lauded their workmanship, which, if you knew him, is really saying something. I highly, highly, highly recommend Renewal by Andersen.
In October 2020 Renewal by Anderson replaced five windows in our house. Today, October 4th 2021,they sent two true professionals to clean up after the crew that did the initial installation. Latchman and Dhanai arrived on time and spent over 9 hours working in the rain, and didnt even stop for lunch, to correct a number of installation errors from the original crew. These two men clearly took pride in their work as they could have easily concealed the errors of the previous crew. They choose to completely correct all the issues to the extent of fully removing two windows and starting the process from the beginning to make sure it was done right. We were so unsatisfied with Renewal by Anderson until Latchman and Dhanai came to our home. The fact that this year long process occurred is insane and shameful on Renewal by Anderson management to the point that this review would have been one star with a much different write up. However, the windows are good quality and if you request Latchman and Dhanai to handle your installation, youll be very happy with the results.
My windows are installed and wonderful. Worth the price for custom sizes and installation. Compared prices to other companies that came out. The crew who installed our 13 windows were clean and efficient. Brian and goerge are great. The salesman Chris loram showed us a style that no other company did and thats what made this purchase worth it. The customer service was great and the windows came out wonderful! 5 stars for installation and 5 stars for everyone else!
Rick & his team were fantastic to work with! Everyone was so respectful of us & our home. The quality of work performed (11 windows & 7 doors) was excellent. It was just so nice to work with a team that cared about the company they were representing and also cared about us.

Outstanding job! Very professional and courteous crew who did a wonderful job with the window replacements. This included 2 walk-in bay windows. In addition to the replacement, they sealed all leaks with insulation and caulking and replaced all molding. Looks great!

The two guys who were here at our home to replace our old windows did a great job—arrived on time, worked very efficiently, professionally, showed us how they did the installation to seal and protect from the weather, how to open the windows up for cleaning, and especially appreciated, cleaned up spotlessly which is not always the case with contractors. Latchman and his helper were on time and very professional. They helped me take the blinds from the door and move furniture.They were very clean with the taking down of the door, making sure to vacuum all the debris. I would give the crew that installed our windows an A+. All 4 of the gentlemen were knowledgeable and efficient. They were pleasant to be around and answered any questions we had. The crew leader was Rick M. He and Lawrence W were the two who installed the sliding door. They finished the final job on day 2. They were easy to talk to and fun to be around. These 2 gentlemen made this a very pleasurable experience. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

4/5/19 The installers who came to our home was Robert Groat and assistant. They were very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. The five windows and one door panel assembly we ordered, were delivered and installed professionally by these Andersen installers. The windows and door are very nice and energy efficient, The wood parts of the frame were unfinished and we have to match the stain with our existing stain and so will stained the bare wood of our new windows ourselves. The door and panel color are as ordered. We are very happy with the quality of the products and with the installation and installers.
The two crews were very polite and efficient. George, Brandon, and I believe the third installer was Wilco on the windows and Tyler and Jimmy on the door. Good quality product and a fine installation on both

We had an excellent experience with an Anderson Sliding Glass door replacement. Everyone we worked with was knowledgeable, professional and courteous. The installers were both great and very helpful throughout and made us feel that this particular installation was important to them. All our questions were answered and everything was removed and cleaned up perfectly when they left.

The experience with Replacement by Andersen of eastern NY in Schenectady was certainly a 5 Star experience. When Kyle O. arrived the first day with his crew, , he briefed us as to what would happen, and immediately they went to work. These guys never stopped! By the end of the day all the old windows were out and the new ones in place. They respected our home, especially on day s 2 and 3 when it rained, protecting the floors with plastic and cloth. They were happy to answer the few questions I had (especially Kyle and George) while they worked. I was impressed with the replacement/repair of rotted sills and other areas, the application of insulation and the careful caulking where necessary. Our old windows had the exterior frame clad with aluminum many years ago. I thought it looked good, but when I saw what these guys did, it was a night and day difference, The final appearance of the newly installed windows and doors, with the old wood frames wrapped in aluminum, is superb. Their cleanup was great. I would remiss not to add that the whole experience started by a visit from Will who explained the products to us, the choices we had and offered suggestions as to what would work best. A very professional presentation. A very good experience form beginning to end.

The entire crew worked hard all day and they cleaned up surprisingly well afterwards; surprisingly because no contractor in my home has ever Swiffered the floor to be sure he left no sawdust behind. The gentleman who installed our door (Latchman and Brian) were very efficient and skilled. They were very polite and accommodating. We have a very large dog (Great Dane) and were not phased by him at all, which we appreciated. The door is beautiful and the surrounding framework is very nicely done. They were able to save the indoor framework which we really appreciated, since parts of it iare antique and original to the home (circa 1820s)! A job well done and greatly appreciated! They finished the job and even swiffered my floor! Thank you for the courteous service and lovely door.

Latchman and Rick did a great job! On time, courteous, took the time to replace some of the wood in our frames that had begun to rot. Very important as the new windows may not have held up, so we are very appreciative. Constant cleaning up after themselves and definitely paid attention to details. Rare to see that now days. Latchman and Brian are an asset to your company. They are very dedicated to their work and have gone beyond what I expected in installing my windows and door. When asked if they could fix a door frame near the windows the were installing there was no hesitation and Latchman didn’t charge me for it. He said by doing the repair it would complement the porch and the windows they installed.Both Brian and Latchman were very respectful to me, in fact Brian took a picture of the completed window installation he just completed so I wouldn’t have to go up the stairs to the second floor and check it out. .They always asked if I was satisfied with their work so far and if anything needed changing. How awesome is that. Their craftsmanship was fabulous and they worked hard to make sure everything was picked up and brought out for disposal.

I had ten Windows replaced and cannot believe how fast and efficient the crew was. Actuallytwo crews came and they were done in one day. They were on time and very clean. This is the second time we had Renewal by Anderson windows installed. Nine windows were installed on the second floor of our home in 2010. November 2015, fifteen windows (and a slider) were replaced with Renewal by Anderson products on the first floor of our home. Though pricey, the tilt-in windows are very good quality and maintenance-free. Being happy with the first installation crew and windows made the decision to invite back Huff n Puff/Renewal by Anderson of Albany for the remaining window replacements an easy choice. The November 2015 installation (a two day job) went very smoothly. Also, new/improved latches were swapped on the upstairs windows, voluntarily suggested by the sales representative (John A.), at no additional cost. Bill, George L., Brian and Anthony worked very well as a team and answered any questions I had. They were efficient and cleaned up each day. Lastly, I was impressed with their treatment of each other. I heard Please used quite often.

Huff n Puff installed two Renewal by Anderson window units in our house, and the process was professionally handled, the finishing work was perfect, the windows are very high quality. The crew was very accommodating with scheduling around some surprise repairs we needed when the wall was opened to remove the old units. They closed the wall temporarily while repairs were made, and returned promptly as soon as the building was properly repaired, even though we interrupted their work schedule. We are happy with the installation, the quick response, and the quality of the windows. We will contact Huff n Puff for more work on our home.

Had to leave town for awhile upon my return weather of course was cooler and I started to close windows when to my surprise 3 of MANY windows installed less than three weeks ago...wont lock one of the locks snapped off and I am not going to try to force them. Contacted Anderson and someone is scheduled to make housecleaning next week. I proceeded to check all out and found that several are wiggling in the tracks! Dont want to panic YET, but lots of issues with the product, not the installers who were very pleasant and cleaned up very well. Time will tell if I could recommend down the road.
On January 7, 2016, a crew of four energetic, polite men from Huff n Puff arrived at my home with two trucks. After a few minutes of orientation, they efficiently began working as a team, with George L as coach. Not a minute was wasted, as six old windows were removed from the second story and the beautiful new ones installed. Meanwhile, my old kitchen door and storm door were removed, and replaced by a new steel insulated door with thermal glass, plus a storm door with windows. I was impressed by their diligent attention to every detail of the job they were doing. It was a joy to observe how well they worked together in amiable cooperation, creating an atmosphere of good will, and satisfaction in a job well done. They certainly are worthy of a five star review, which Im truly pleased to write. P.S. In 2011, George and Rick installed 16 new windows in my first floor rooms, with the same result as described above. I dont remember writing a review back then, so please second this one for them. I was extremely pleased with my experience with renewal by Anderson. The project manager, John was very kind and professional. He answered all of my questions patiently. I had obtained three quotes and Renewal by Anderson was the highest quote. But the type of window and the strong, sturdy frame sold me. Along with Renewal by Andersen’s warranty. The team that came to install my windows were courteous, knowledgeable and answered my questions well. I believe Rich was the team leader and he worked so well guiding is team. I must also compliment the finish carpentry. Renewal by Anderson was the only company that had finish carpenters and what a fantastic job was done with the molding and trim work. I requested something other than traditional mitered corners and Renewal by Anderson hit a home run. The windows and finished product was fantastic. I have received many positive comments regarding the windows. I was very impressed by how neat the installers/carpenter were. A throughly excellent job and experience.

I am so excited about the whole experience! These guys came exactly when they said they would and were in motion the entire day. They cleaned up as they went, and there was a lot to clean... they hauled away all the old windows and door. At the end they cleaned more! They even vacuumed up dog fur they werent responsible for! Very nice to deal with, professional and a great job! I wish I didnt have to put curtains up, the windows and door are so perfect. Im going to pass this news around. My house is so bright and beautiful now. These are the window people YOU are looking for. Oh! Screen! What screens? Yes they are there! I had to ask because I couldnt see them. Every time I go past the window in the kitchen, I stop. The woods outback are so there now! Thanks to a great team!
These guys are real pro’s!They did everything right. Everyone was nice, knowledgeable and professional.They knocked out 15 windows in 5 hours. Their work was amazing. I figured I’d be cleaning and painting for days but nope! The windows were clean and trimmed. They also cleaned up everything when they were done. I’d give them three thumbs up but I only have two!!

We just had 9 new windows installed in our living and dining rooms. Four men arrived at the appointed time and set right to work tearing out the old windows. They worked very efficiently and completed a pretty large job in 7 hours. They cleaned up their mess and took all the old windows, trash etc with them. Bill W., Rob G. and their crew did a wonderful job. We are very pleased with our new windows.

Yesterday, we had our slider patio door installed by Robert Groat. We were very impressed with his professionalism and concern for detail. The work performed was accomplished in a timely manner. He and his partner never took a break from the time they started to its completion.In addition to his workmanship, he appeared friendly and interested in ourbackground and was able to relate to a person that he knew while in high school back in the early 8os that I had recently been in contact with. 2021-11-29We are extremely disappointed with the installation of our new doors. When we ordered the doors and placed the initial deposit we were told that they would be installed in June but the actual install wasnt until November. The hardware on one of the double doors sits crooked because the factory drilled holes were not done correctly. The trim was placed back on the wall off-center leaving a raw sheetrock edge on one side. I repeatedly asked that the decorative corners match those of all the other doors, I even encouraged them to reuse the ones I had. I was told that would happen yet they were replaced with ones that did not match. Despite replacing my decorative corners with unmatched ones, they chose to reuse the trim that was damaged during install. The quality of the work is poor and I would not recommend using Renewal by Andersen for replacement doors.

2022-05-14Salesman was informative Installation was postponed due to weather (our choice) communication was spot on. When installing the gentlemen were professional and took their time didnt rush or take short cuts. Did a great job. Cleaned up after themselves and made sure we were happy. B😁 he most stress free project we have experienced. This Is a professional service and went above and beyond 👏 wonderful job . Highly recommend.

2022-01-22Amazing from start to finish! Definitely worth the money! Professional from the get go, from the quote to booking to the installation. Measured a total of 3 times, once for quote, second for ordering, and a third for confirmation during installation which reassured me that they were going to be perfect. I appreciate the slight UV block in the product itself and the easy access for cleaning and upkeep. The team was always courteous in my home and cleaned up after themselves when they left. These windows make a huge difference in my home and the people at Andersen made a huge difference in this big project! Have already recommended to neighbors and friends, would recommend to anyone!

He’s a genuinely gray young man. The work crew who came to do the installation were equally professional. They were friendly, fast and efficient and clean. 2022-02-08The guys did an excellent job installing my windows and door. They were professional, very polite, and they worked very hard even shoveling snow that slid off the roof of the truck onto the driveway, which they didnt have to do. They went the extra mile They cleaned up all building materials and left the place looking better than before they arrived. I am very happy with the job they did.

2021-08-13*Update, someone from Anderson did reach out to me after my review in an attempt to solve the issue with my leaky windows. I will update my review from 1 star to 3 stars and update again based on the outcome.Renewal by Anderson is awful. The only person who did a fantastic job was the sales person who tricked us into paying for their over priced windows. The installers were polite and quick, however, when they finished we were left with a pail of overflowing garbage outside our living room window. We called several times and our sales guy sent an email, nobody ever came to get it. We had to get rid of it ourselves. Within a few months of them being installed it rained we needed to use the warranty for two windows which were leaking. The first time he said he fixed the issue, some of it wasnt caulked enough. Next time it rained we had the same issue. Now they are blaming our roof, Im sorry our roof is not causing our windows to leak. Our 30 year old Peach Tree windows they replaced NEVER leaked. They were so old you could feel a breeze come in but we never had water. Over $20,000 and we had to dispose of the trash ourselves and now have leaky windows.

2022-06-13We were very pleased with the service person who was sent to our house and replaced the locking bar on our window. Not only did he arrived at the time promised but he also had the part in his truck so he was able to complete the job in less than 1/2 hour. We would highly recommend Renewal by Anderson of Eastern NY for windows and their repair service.

2022-03-22Two workmen came to our home to replace our front picture window. The window was out in mere minutes and the new one brought in and put in easily and quickly and cleaned up to where you wouldn’t know they were even here. We are extremely happy with their service, and would recommend Andersen to anyone.
