Bought new heels and they deteriorated same day. Owner was polite and offered me a new pair but then prompted me to pay the $30 difference and tax when I had to turn back and Uber there already. If you’re a tourist looking for new shoes to use during a trip I wouldn’t risk shopping here.

Amazing store, with a wide selection of shoes! I was recently looking to buy a pair of Blundstones and looked in a couple different stores in SoHo, but I couldnt find my size anywhere. I found this store through a quick google search and decided to stop by just on the off chance that I could find a pair of shoes in my size.I walked in and was amazed by the amount of shoes on display. There are dozens of popular brands available in basically every style and color. I luckily found two different colors of the thermal Blundstones in my size and I was so happy I was able to choose. Definitely recommend stopping in, you will most likely the shoe youre looking for!

The old shop run by a real gent has a wonderful collection of shoes, many handsewn and great quality of leather. They dont makeem like this anymore!

This independent shop has been in business for over 30 years, and one look at their selection and hello from the owner Daniel, you’ll know why.I walked in looking for Dansko shoes to try on and had heard they had a huge selection. Turns out they have a huge selection of everything! Uggs, Born, Mephisto and more. All those top brands that are especially soothing to the feet.Daniel was so helpful in trying on different sizes and types of Dansko shoes, and even after paying, he insisted I try on another size instead just “to be sure” the one I got was right. It was, and that extra effort to make me (a customer) happy is what makes people coming back for decades.Congrats, Daniel, on such a successful small business. I’ll be back!5 stars!!!!

This store has a huge selection of great brands at very competitive prices. Out of laziness, I used to order most of my shoes online, but now I’ve learned to check here first. They almost always have what I was looking for, and I feel good about supporting a true mom-and-pop small business (instead of helping amazon drive such stores out of business). The elderly gentleman who runs the store is so sweet and helpful, and there are no high-pressure salespeople. I buy my daughter’s Birkenstock sandals here every year, and I get boots and sandals for myself too.

This is the greatest shoe store in nyc. It’s family run and has a huge inventory of high quality mostly practical durable type shoes. A huge choice of dansko clogs for instance and every other brand like Mephisto, Birkenstock, etc. it feels so good to buy from this place. Not a corporation and not online.

Old-school shop run by couple--packed to the gills with brands such as Birkenstock, Blundstone, Mephisto , Smartwool, Timberland. Large selection of quality childrens shoes, work boots, durable footwear. Great selection of wool and cotton socks, and some accessories such as smartwool hats and gloves.

Horrible customer service. The older gentleman sold us a pair of shoes that disintegrated upon the first wear. When we returned for an exchange/refund, there were no others in stock and he refused to offer a refund! Buyer beware, this store sells junk!
