Our issue with Rent-A-Center has been going on for quite some time. From having to pay someone out of our own pockets to help the delivery guy from the company to help deliver the furniture, to getting damaged furniture. When we noticed the recliner was damagedwe called them right away. Not days later...weeks later ... Months later... Not even hours later. We called them immediately. After speaking with the manager we were assured that the matter would be taken care of right away. But it wasnt... We were told that they would order a new one and simply swap it out. Again to our dismay this was untrue.After months of phone calls to Angela one of the customer service people. We were told we had to speak to Luis. So we kept calling and leaving messages for him but no response. Finally after weeks of calling. We were able to speak to him and were told that our choices were to have someone come, so they can repair it or we would have to get something else. No apologies... No nothing... Just pick something else.We finally came to the center on June 13th to speak to someone in person. We walked in, sat there for about 10-15 minutes before we were even acknowledged. And this was because my wife had to say something. We were not disrespectful, belligerent or unprofessional. Their people even acknowledged that the situation was wrong. They also acknowledged that your manager which is now on maternity leave had spoken to us and assured us that this matter would be taken care of immediately... This was untrue. This has been going on for months now and now we find out that the district manager says that we either have two options:1. Let a repair guy come and sew it up or...2.Let them pick up the chair and give us a store credit which we can use toward another recliner when you finally get it in stock.And theres no guarantee when you will finally get it or if you will get it.Really.... This behavior is totally unprofessional and disgusting. I came to your store in person with my wife today even though Im in a wheelchair. I wasnt a jerk or disrespectful but I guess I dontdeserve the same

I only gave one star because I can’t give them a zero! Horrible customer service they do not call you back within reasonable time. None of the sku online are ever in stock at this location. They promise items that are not in stock and than basically force your options down to what they can get which is most likely more money all while giving the excuse that it is a finance business pure bull. Delivery is never when promised. The quickest process is them taking your money through autopay. Stay far away from this place if you want to keep your sanity.

By far this is the most unprofessional place ever. Staff are extremely rude, when we placed an order for couches they were unable to deliver to the house. The drivers Left the couches outside and we had to find a way to get them to the 3rd FL. The couches got damaged from their unfinished work. Now they are calling threatening to call police if no more payments are paid after they have charged double of what they cost. This place should close down, they have horrible customer service.

Unprofessional, incapable of answering simple questions and also incapable of returning phone calls. This store needs new staff and if not that, some serious customer service training. Horrifically bad experience. Truly not ever buying a thing from here ever again.

They are the worse i ordered a whole living room set waiting 2 weeks for it to be delivered on the day i was moving in which was yesturday they came and sed they couldnt fit my couch in the elevator then sed they couldnt fit the couch in my door eay and befor i got to the place to comfirm it myself ( my sons father was there befor me ) they had reloaded the truck and left and when i called for them to return so i can verify if it was true or not cuz its a big elevator and big hallwayd they refused to come back and they kept putting me on hold for 20 mins at a time and hanging up on me i will never do busniess with these people again they quick to take ur money but fail at pulling thru with there job 😠😠😠😠 worse busniess i have ever seen in my life rude worker everything all all around wad a mess aswell as lieing on my kids dad on things he had never said ( which there were witnesses there to clarify that with me) and making up excuses on why my delivery didnt pull thru i dont recomment anyone doing busniess with this location very very unperfession and i dont normally write reviews olabout places but for this i had to

Worst!! Customer service is really suck! No communication at all! Let me wait a week and have to call then to confirm delivery and they will tell you they have to cancel the order because your house is 30mins away!

On February the 6 I went to the store on Steinway i paid for washing machine they told me it would be here on Tuesday or Wednesday on Wednesday i call the store because the machine did not come i spoke to a manager she was rude and disrespectful because then they told mean the machine will not be here until Thursday or Friday so i asked her if she could change the payment date which was coming on the 22nd she told me know so again today is Saturday i still have not gotten the machine so i called the store and told them to cancel the machine because at this point i dont want it because they never called me and told me that they didnt have the machine or the machine is going to be late they didnt tell me anything so now i have to go into the store so they could put the money back on my account threw my card the worst

THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE!!!! LATE THEY HAVE NO CUSTOMER SERVICE WHAT SO EVER!!!!!!!! YOU ARE LATE THEY HARASS YOU!!!! THEY ACTUALLY SENT THERE PEOPLE TO MY DAUGHTERS HOME HAD THEM BANGING ON A NEIGHBORS DOOR ASKING QUESTIONS.....THEN BANGED ON MY DAUGHTERS DOOR WHERE MY GRANDDAUGHTER ANSWERED THINKING IT WAS THE SUPER AND SOMETHING WAS WRONG IN THE BUILDING......COME TO FIND OUT SHE OPENS THE DOOR AND A GROWN ASS MAN STANDING THERE SAYING WE ARE FED UP WITH YOUR MOTHER & THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS NOW THEY SEND ME OUT HERE.....SO TELL YOUR MOTHER IF SHE DOES NOT RETURN MERCHANDISE I WILL BE BACK TO GET IT.....MY GRANDDAUGHTER IS ONLY 12 HOW DO YOU SPEAK TO A CHILD LIKE THAT!!!!
