I love the grilled tilapia, had to substitute the mash potatoes with fries. The chicken nuggets my daughter had was a bit dry otherwise okay.
Staten Island mall buffalo boneless wings were rock hard not happy. Sent it back the second batch they were slightly better. Ordered the 2 for 22 not much on the 2 for 22 menu however, there is an up charge for other items on the 2 for 22 that cost more. It varies. The steak is an up charge of 3.00 and was small 6oz but I also ordered the ceaser salad that was a good size and was good. Doesnt seem right dont get much for the price. Wish they go back to the two for 20 with more of a selection. Hopefully, someone will read this and agree with me.

November ..We came today Saturday it wasent that busy the waitress was in a super rush tho she was kind of making us choose fast from the menu and then it took to long to come back . As always foods avarage the prices are increasing 3 dollars or so al and service wasent good .the manager had to come to the rescue . The check was wrong also .December 9th update .The server mess up the order she came with boneless chicken and we order onion rings then shes ask us (are you sure you order onion rings) are you kidding me . Im the one hungry of course I know what I order Im HUNGRY. Order took long to come to the table . Unfortunally same server karolina again .
2 for 20 is really great, the food was good and i especially liked how the manager came over and asked us how everything was. The vibe was great. Set aside everything now this goes for the server. If you dont want to work in a restaurant or if you dont want to interact with anyone then dont do food. Basically. :)

Server was kind, however the food was mediocre the wait time for our food to arrive was long as it wasnt crowded. I do understand that because of covid staff is limited. Also er had ti wait a bit for our bill. I highly doubt we will return to this location.
One thing about Applebee’s is no matter how many times you tell them to make sure it’s pinkish, it always come out well done when I said medium rare. Service wasn’t so great as well, can never find our waitress.

Went to celebrate my daughter’s birthday on a Sunday and during the late afternoon/early evening rush. So I have to say that April (our server) and her coworkers are amazing! Everyone was friendly and just lovely. They even pulled off a Happy Birthday clap for her.If you paid close attention (I always do) you could see that the restaurant was being slammed but they didn’t show it. They continued to provide great service, remain friendly and kept smiling . So just a reminder to all to be kind and tip well.

Went there with my family for diner last night , we were seated at the table at 7:00 o’clock 20 min later Had to get up and leave . Not one waiter or waitress came out to ask us for drinks or to see what we gonna order. I was fuming 😡 as we got up to leave on the way out I told the hostess we are leaving cause no waitress came to take our order , she reply did you have any drinks ? Here we are telling her that we are leaving cause no one helped us and she is asking us if we had any drinks. This place was empty yesterday and now I know why. Because of the lousy service. Never again. They deserve less then one star of rating.
When we first arrived we had our temperature taken. Then we had to scan a QR code with one phone and when it sent a text message we had to show the hostess and then she proceeded to show us to our table. When we arrived at the table they brought us plates and utensils in a sanitary bag. I appreciated the safety protocol they implemented. Food was delicious as always. Service was good at first but it started to get busy and they only had one waiter so service became a little slower.
Dinner today. I was seated. Music was so loyd and annoying .i was going walk out they moved me to a table near restroom. Disgusting. They raised orice over $22 dinner horrible experience. Blasting music dangeroys decibel. Menu inadequate.

Eating good in the neighborhood?Certainly, especially if you live in the neighborhood of the world famous Staten Island Mall. This Applebee’s is one of the friendliest restaurants not only in the mall, but within a good vicinity. The food is sizzling hot, the drinks dew drop cold, and the atmosphere bobbly and festive - an absolute delight every time.
We had to wait an hour to get a table, i went with my family. ofc its not the workers fault but the people dinning there. Although some of the plates that were handed to us were dirty and had stains. I liked the food doe :)
Theyre take out lots of things from the menu 2 for..., and raised the price
Waiter was attentive and the manager brought the food out to our table. The mashed potatoes were not that hot on my plate, thats why I guess the manager was helpful in bringing our dishes. Ive worked in food industry, but didnt complain. And in one of the deserts, the cookie was burnt. This is why, only 4 stars. The place was not as busy to warrant these things.

I thought the food and service was okay only. The waitress on Saturday wasnt too attentive. I had a cheeseburger and it was lukewarm and the flavor was okay only. The french fries taste like it had too much msg on it. However my beer was really cold; just how I like it. All in all it was an okay experience.

Ratings speak for themselves. It’s an Applebee’s, so food is what you get from this chain, nothing special, but decent for occasional visit.Now the low rating is due to the service they have. When our waitress came to ask for our orders, we asked if we can have 5 minutes more. It took her half an hour before coming back to us...You know how at other restaurants waitresses come and ask if you need anything every now and then? Just to see if like you need another beer or something? That never happened here.
This site is my first choice site. Of all restaurants I know I love it most. I always suggests to my friends to go to that place. when I want to go to a good meal, this place comes right away to my head. superb and diverse food and a large menu.generous team, and agreeable vibes. Also important, the price is good. I praise this restaurant with great pleasure.
Wouldnt even give 1 star. Huge waste of money and time.Will not return to this location. We found multiple strands of hair burried deep in sauces of the 2 plates of BBQ ribs we ordered. The bacon cheese burgers for the kids were cold, dry and missing the bacon. The kids fruit cup with yogurt was about the most disgusting portion of sugary vanilla yogurt with 4 slices of a single almost rotten strawberry. The rest of food (wanton tacos and artichoke dip) was mediocre. The dip felt like it was sitting under a heating element for a while before it came to our table. The waitstaff never came back to check on the food. When she dropped the check, we notified her at that time all that was wrong with the food. When the manager finally came over, we informed him about the slow service, and meal problems, we were meet with rude attitude, and he was apathetic to fix the problems with our meals. The solution offered was to not charge for the ribs.I frequent this mall location I would have asked for the General Manager, but frankly speaking next time I will not choose this chain. We had received a gift card and thought the venue might benefit from some patronage since the new food court opened. Thankful there are better healthier options now.

Went for breakfast, and frankly any diner serves a better breakfast. Had to ask for coffee refill, had to ask for the free biscuit, items on the menu were not available... There is no cashier, they encourage you to pay on their tabletop computer with a card; and since when did 20% become the standard tip?
I was at the front entrance for at least 15 minutes without any employee coming over to me to see if I wanted to be seated. 4 workers looked me dead in my eyes and turned their heads the other way as if I wasnt present in the restaurant. What the hell has happened with this place?????
Not really good food. Had a few appetizers and they were ok but not out of this world. Wait staff put up with a lot because we have twin 2 year olds. We actually helped them clean up after we finished. Nice for a quick bite.
Been waiting 50 mins for my food then it came out cold. I sent it back and asked at least for an appetizer while I wait again and its been 20 mins and still nothing. People are getting up from their tables and getting things they need from the server station. Not. Real happy with this establishment and will not return. If I was able to rate at 0 stars I would. They dont even seem to care.
Not the best experience. Usually Applebees is more consistent and reliable. My burger wasnt cooked! Oh well, so much for a nice medium well piece of meat on a Sunday afternoon. Had to send it back. And then of course it came back overcooked. My Wifes dish was okay but kind of tasteless. Service was attentive, at least but I dont plan on visiting this location again, sorry.

Whoever the cooks are don’t seem to listen to requests, when I ask for no parsley in my Mac and cheese I literally don’t want parsley in my Mac and cheese!! It’s been about five times that they didn’t listen to what I asked for and I’m fed up. It’s not like I have time to waste another 20 minutes while they remake my food because I order it on my break from work.

I have been in this restaurant a few times already and I really like the food flavor. Unlike other locations in this one the food is delicious. 4th start because unfortunately one of the servants I believe was not having a good day, ither than that so far I have no complaint.
Been coming here for 10 years but the customer service got out of control last night. The girl with the fake blond wig is awful. She didnt give us straws or utensils so we had to get up and get it OURSELVES. Another waiter bought us our food and she never came back to check on us ever. We even ordered desserts ourselves in the touch screen device because she never came. Of course she only came when it was time to collect the bill. Also, she was gone with my credit FOR A LONG TIME. Mhmm ?
3 persons(one greeter that doubled as waitress one barback and one bartender who also doubled as a waitress)working the front - maybe 6 tables upon my arrival and everything was so slow - how could this happen with the new food court in place? Upon leaving there were now 14 tables full - good luck with that! Two stars for the staff and the cold Sam Adams brew from a clean tap

Been coming to Alfonsos over 20+ yrs -even after moving away! What brings us back? The peach melbas! Delicious!! Still taste as good as they did back then! Also get other pastries & cookies for family when we visit the Island. Bread is very good too. Also the cheesecakes are good.
Everything g was on par. Service was as expected from a chain resturant. Havent been to applebees in years but menu was almost identical minus a few specials/tweaks. Its a good place to go with family to eat not so fast fast food and relax a bit. Service was good. I would say its a good place to go with family to sit relax and have some burgers and have some applebees food.
This was the first time in years I visited Applebees in the Staten Island Mall. Came here for happy hour with my friend and we actually ended up not staying :/ Firstly, we waited about 10 mins when we got there. Not complaining so much about the wait time, but rather, the fact that we waited when there were several tables available. It just seemed odd. Atmosphere was a little dingy too. Then when we were brought to our table, it was annoying how we HAD to be brought to one of the furthest back, and the table still not clean enough. The hostess was pleasant, I want to offer that credit, but seemed a bit nervous when we asked if we could sit somewhere else. We went to sit at the bar, but within a couple minutes, we just opted to leave, as the seating was not very comfortable at all and tight. Applebees in general is that place Ive been to many times now and Im a little over it, but I always try to give different spots a chance before writing it off. Likely wont be back in here again.
Got my order wrong twice, and food was rushed.
Got extremely sick from their food crazy stomach pains and I mean crazy... and threw up. Called the next morning lady was very nice asked for my name and number and said she would have someone call me later on that day, never got a call. So I called back later that day and told them what I was calling for, nobody had any idea what I was talking about, guy on the phone had an attitude and said “ so OUR FOOD got YOU sick and YOU don’t know the name of who you spoke to ? I don’t know how you’d like my help. “ Um excuse me ? No I did not because she did not tell me her name.. at the end he was no help at all. Still waiting for a call, It has been a week and a half and I had gotten no call what so ever. Guess I have to show up 🤷🏼♀️ They have no idea how bad they just made themselves look. Going to the one on Richmond ave from now on, my family and friends will not be going to this Applebee’s anymore and I hope you all who’s reading this doesn’t as well.

They had a promotion for unlimited mix and match however after the 1st serving we noticed the quality and quantity diminished significantly. The staff was polite and on-time.
The food was good and the server was good. The food took sometime to reach the table even though the restaurant was practically empty. There were only two servers.
My food was ice cold. I didnt even know who my waiter was since a different person took my order. Someone else brought my drinks. Someone else brought my food. And for two people with no appetizers and no alcoholic drinks our bill was 60 dollars for ice cold food.
Since have no time, I always ordering food from this location either pick up or delivery. I would give 10 star if I could. food is always fresh and accurately packed. love it!

Was going to go Fridays but decided to go to apple bees because havent been there for about 11yrs but then the greeter looks like she doesnt know what shes saying or doing. Obviously we have a baby in a car seat assume that my baby can sit up because she gave us a high chair like didnt even ask about it. Then when my husband asked the server if there something we can put underneath the car seat they said they dont which its sucks... So just decided to leave and go to TGIF. When we walked out my mother in law told me theres some food stain on the back of my clothes :/ like seriosuly?!? Never going back to apple bees again ever!!Btw, Fridays have one of those stand for car seat.

This is the dirty Applebee’s. Always get a stomach ache eating here. Drunks at the bar on Friday night are loud and obnoxious. Hate eating in the bar area for that reason.

2022-05-12You can get a healthy meal for 2 for $24. Grilled chicken, broccoli, baked potato. My pic shows that I took some chicken strips & fries from my sons plate. Gotta me patient when it gets busy. Sports are on TVs.

2021-09-20Totally awesome!!I came here with my family, and we enjoyed the outdoor dining. It was such a lovely day, and just perfect for sitting outside. The staff is friendly, and supper attentive. Food came out really quickly too!I forgot the waiters name, but he is a tall man, wears glasses. And he was just great! So informative and kind. Will be coming back in the future! :)

2022-07-04Always nice to eat here. Food is good and free refills. The staff is always new though. Mostly younger kids. They need to be a little more patient with the customer. But we like it here. A bit pricey. 2 adults $70 bucks... ouch

2022-07-03Recent visit was a few days ago (current date 7.2021). They were severely understaffed and the wait was long. But given the they were understaffed, the few waiters there were so nice. They ALL were working hard and had a smile on their faces. I forgot our waitress names but she was so nice and pleasant the entire time. Apologizing each time for the long wait. We told her it was ok because its not her fault the company doesnt want to pay properly to properly fill their shifts. They seriously need a raise. I hope someone from the applebees franchise actually reads this and gives these employees their due rights!Update... visited a few days ago and of course had my regular, this time w a non-alcoholic pina colada.2.2022 went for a quick lunch as I finished work and had my usual....3 cheese penne and nonalcohol Pina colada. The waitress AM B was really nice and friendly.Went back for dinner with parents, ordered the chips and artichoke dip...the cheese was hardened in the dip but it was still tasting good. Wished the cheese was melted and easily able to be mixed into the dip as it usually does but maybe next time.6.30.22 just stopped in for a quick dinner after work. Decided on a different option than my usual pasta choice. Had the mashed potatoes, seasoned rice and tried the cheesy stramed broccoli. Not a bad switch up from my usual dish. Only thing missing for me was my hot sauce. But still nonetheless a satisfying meal.

2022-03-16While the staff was friendly and the food didn’t take too long to come, they messed up my order. I clearly asked for a CLASSIC CHEESEBURGER! And they even asked me how I wanted it cooked, but do I get it? NOOOOooooOOOOOOOooooooOOOOOOO! I get a chicken cheddar bacon burger! I didn’t want to start drama, since I was with my friends and because it was my one of my friend’s birthday. While it still tasted good, it’s obvious that they clearly need to pay close attention to what the customer ordered. They even messed up some of my friends orders.

2022-04-10We were not happy . The food was horrible. The appetizer chicken wings boneless were 16.99. And they were like frozen type only 6 pc and tasted horrible. I wont be going there again. 100. For 3 ppl. No liquor just food . And my husband got sick. The mash was like instant potatoes. Bathroom time. Sorry. But this was our experience.

2021-07-05Applebee’s Grill & Bar, Staten Island Mall. I just love Applebee’s! Went there when the pandemic hit hard and seating at 25% and back now. Great food, wonderful people, pleasant environment and most of all excellent customer service!

2022-05-21The food was just ok, and the service wasnt as pleasant. We had a party of 4 and server only brought 2 sets of utensils and 2 glasses of water when we were being seated. The food came quick, however they stepped away right after putting the food on the table. No one even noticed, ask nor care that we didnt have enough utensils, napkins, plates etc. Expected us to eat with our hands right from the plates? We needed to wait till the server passed by again in order to ask for extra sets. The mashed potatoes were cold and there was a tiny bug swimming in my drink! The servers werent rude, just need to be a little more attentive. The only good thing about dining here is the QR code check out. By the way, it wasnt a busy night at all. Prices were up alot but portion were much smaller than used to.On the 2 for 24 menu, it actually has 3 choices, other than those 3 there is an upcharge from 3.99-4.99 for each, so it could added up to 2 for 33.98 for choices other than those 3. We went to another Applebees in Delaware during our trip only few weeks ago, the menu price and service were much better. They have 2 for 24 or 2 for 29, bothe has 6 selections and the portion was a full plate! Well, NYC it is....

2022-06-06Only been to this location a few times, the food was ok, half price happy hr aint what it use to be prices are what a person should have regularly for apps & drinks, the regular menu prices are insane, our waitress was great, great family spot.
