COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL,UNHELPFUL NO COMPASSION. The moment I walked in there to deliver ONLY 5 pallets I was approached by a think Caucasian male with tattoos on his arms, he was very rude, unhelpful, and treated me abs talked to me with such disrespect, I was shocked and responded with my concerns, he then reacted very unprofessional. I didn’t get to deliver these 5 pallets and now I’ve been stuck here in Buffalo,NY for 3 1/2 because this company is unwilling to remove their product off my trailer, knowing that the shipper loaded my trailer with another carriers cargo causing a delay to my original delivery date and time. NOTHING TO DO WITH ME AS THE DRIVER.This company should be embarrassed of their employee’s attitude towards people like me just trying to do my job. Maybe customer service isn’t for him. What I’m getting at is I’ve been sitting here since Friday early morning, it is now Monday and this company wants me to cross dock their 5 pallets, I can off load by hand and that’s the sad part.You guys deserve no stars, u guys don’t even a star rating section at all
This was my 1st time here and my experience was completely horrible. I will never be back, and I know people who wanted to shop here...i already told them how uninviting it is and unorganized. You walk in and there is the miserable secretary sitting there...no smile, you can tell she does not want to be there. I went to shop for 4 items and the aisles were not clearly marked...I stopped several employees for help and they didnt seem to know where anything was. I wasnt surprised since it was messy and empty crates, carts, and boxes were everywhere...and accident waiting to happen. My pleasant part of this shopping trip was when I asked a man for help..and he actually helped me...turns out, HE WAS NOT AN EMPLOYEE!
I did not initially make a review. Ive been finding Google somehow makes them for me, not sure if its a slip of the finger or what? Glad you caught it. I delivered onions there and had a great experience with your facility as well as the one somewhere else (I forget where it was lol). Treated with respect by dock personnel and unloaded efficiently. Thank you, I seriously appreciate that.
Prices and selection are ok. Sometimes inconsistent with the products that they carry. If you are buying in large amounts you need to call ahead a couple weeks to make sure they have enough. Manager last year didn’t want to sell me all of the stock they had. Made no sense to me. Other times they run short on advertised items. The staff is not helpful. They will pass it off in the “not my department” game. Their policy is supposed to be more than two customers in line and they will open another line. More often than not I am 4-5 customers deep in line.
I own a small restaurant on the Cattaraugus Indian Reservation, when the store opened a gentleman stopped by and i was made a member...I have come to the store only a few times but I lost my card, the next time I went back to try to get a new one if possible. Didnt happen, the girl at the entrance would not listen to me. I was told if I didnt have a card she couldnt let me in, and wouldnt listen to me about my card. I left and havent returned since. If I could get a new card and be able to shop here again I would appreciate any info needed to get my card back. Hope you can help me. [
Restaurant Depot is a great place for shopping bulk foods. Restaurant Depot is always well stocked, and never disappoints! The staff is very helpful and always goes out of their way to help me out or to let me know about items that may be out of the stock (lobsters, clams, etc.) that are difficult to source and may be out of stock due to the pandemic. Great place.
If I can rate zero stars I would for management!! Their prices were over priced. 2 items costed me 150$ because the cashier rang it twice and the manager wouldn’t void it. As I asked to speak to the manager, Tammy she was so rude. She basically was yelling at me and assume I didn’t check the price. Total was 10 items but they rang 11 and ended up paying $300. The rest of he staff are great and they don’t the like the manager as well. She yelled at me and left. There was no reasoning with her. Suc bad service! No shopping there again unless they change management !!!
My family and me have been shopping here for many years. And were very happy shopping there. Lately there customer service has dropped significantly. This past week I have gone to them 3 separate times asked for help from 2 sepperate employees to and was forced to wait till someone told me they do not even have the product I was looking for. The new staff they have hired do not seem to care and I have even seen one of the freezer employees vaping in the freezer when they were suppose to be working. I cannot tell management how disappointed I am with how things are being run now.
Poor customer service at checkouts, very slow checking out. Other locations do better - the staff just dont seem to care and some just talk with each other and nearly ignore you until they tell you the total. Long wait for another Saff member to count items so you can leave
Very unorganized! Changed the entire place around so u cant find what u need. Need to be aware of buying pop there. They have a sugar tax added to the price. U dont know it unless u complain about the price to the manager, Patrick, who was very rude about it. Just turned away from me and walked away.
Switch and bait pricing. Beware of this as they always list something cheaper with a UPC that you could never find and display items that are at least 25% more. I have been shopping her for the last 5 yrs. Their new group of managemen is a bunch of bs. No custom service skill at all.
This place is very mis-managed, from lack of staff helping customers to long check out lines.Horrible place because of the management and customer service ,two girls there can’t be there , their customer service is so bad I don’t know how they still work for the company ( Ashely and Dionna ) .
Spoke with assistant manager in MayTold her I needed two cases of an item every week NEVER on hand!Asked them to order extra heavy 18 Aluminum Foil Reynolds Wrap!Still none as we speak.One cash register open, eleven merchants waiting in line when they finally opened a second register it nearly ended up in a fist fight because a merchant decided he wasnt going to the back of the long line and tried crowding in front of everyone resulting in an argument and profanity being yelled from those in the back.One merchant commented that the manager doesnt even care and the employees simotaniously agreed!!!I drive an hour and a half to shop here and spend between $1,300 and $1,700Each week and I depend on them to have everything I need!Ive had enough, time to shop elsewhere 😠
Been shopping here for years in the last year the place has gone to hell the customer service sucks and a lot of times they are out of many products I bought a stove from them couldnt get the one I wanted because they were in nonpay with Garland so I picked another one from them a royal range it sucks wish I would of went else where Ill never buy another large piece of equipment from restaurant depot again
I shop here every week for a local hotel the young man that was in the fish department always calls for help for me every week I need liquid eggs he took himself out of the fishy department to climb up on a pallet to get me some because there so no machines now that is customer service thats why I shop here cause of employees like him I shopped on November 15th at around 11 am

2022-06-17I came to Restaurant Depot,with my brother in law,and this place has everything you need for a restaurant, you can only come in if you are a member and if you own a restaurant guys,this place is a big warehouse place,so this is for those people that own a restaurant in Buffalo New York, by the way this town is beautiful and very clean. I do recommen Restaurant Depot guys,stop by and check it out. By the way I came all the way from Chicago Illinois to check it out.

2019-07-15Picture Sams club, or even the old Tripifoods warehouse that was in Niagara falls. Thats what Restaurant Depot would be, one of the differences is the fact. You have to be a business owner or Church associate. Not to familiar with the requirements of being with the church, but there are a few other ways to be a member. Best way to find out the details is on their website.Once you are a member, you have available to you all the food/supplies that the actual restaurants use. For example, paper products, baking goods, meats, beverages and so much more. Again, all restaurant quality products. The prices are very good, and reasonable. Well worth finding a way to shop here.

2022-03-31Spent almost $400.00 yesterday on 3/30/22. The customer service women never acknowledge you when you are waiting in line to speak and are always on defense and so rude. The manager is alo very insensitive. For them to sell so many halal products I know they make so much money from the muslim population yet I feel so discriminated against when I am in there. So disappointed with their attitudes especially when I KNOWWW they make at least 20k-30k from my family and loved ones annually. Its time to find other places that sell halal. A place more deserving of my money. No more restaurant depot not from me or my loved ones!!!!

2019-09-21This place has become a real letdown. Nothing is ever put away. You have to climb over pallets of stock to get to the shelves. This is an accident waiting to happen. Pricing on shelves is not accurate, and its become hit or miss to fill the complete shopping list. I think well be shopping more at Gordons. All the good, knowledgeable employees have left. The Management is terrible. Check your receipt BEFORE you leave the store!

2022-02-21Unload quick ..easy backing and staff was nice. There’s no sign for “receiving” but it’s the door in the middle of the docks. Refeer is door 3. Appt time was 6am they opened the door about 5:30ish

2021-09-22Called the store, inquiring about apple pay and they told me they had it so I did not bring my card,When I went to purchase my stuff, and asked if they had apple pay (option was not presented to me) the cashier (Dionna) blatantly lied and said they did not have it. Only after it was apparent I did not have the funds to complete my purchase, did she present the option for me to use apple pay.When I looked over the receipt, I noticed the chicken had went up in price by FOURTY- PERCENT. The 2 women at the customer service desk (whos names I unfortunately do not have) were very accommodating and understanding of my situation.Unfortunately, I had to go to a cashier to complete my refund. Ended up going to Dionna unfortunately who said in a very rude manner I know you see that cone over there. I was so shocked at her lack of professionalism at her place of work nonetheless.We thought our problems were over there. Unfortunately, Restaurant Depot proved us wrong. The chicken we DID buy turned out to be spoiled unfortunately,Disgusting as the chicken was, even that didnt compare to the attitude of Dionna who has received prior complaints on the reviews listed here alone, going back at least a year. Unfortunately, I dont think anything will be done about this, given the fact that shes received multiple complaints and hasnt changed her behavior. As long as shes still here, I will not do any more business with them, and will advise any company I do business with to do the same.
