I’m not gonna say that I’m a burger expert, however, I’ve had burgers from LA, to Dallas, to Israel, and all over New York, and I have to say that these burgers are A+! I got a pastrami burger, medium well, and it was fantastic! I’ll come again, and again, and again - great burgers!Love the posters too - real retro!
My, review is 1 star only because this place is very very loud, not by the patrons, but by employees. In other words, its very hard to enjoy a little brake you have, to have a lunch. Other then that the food is good.
I have been ordering from this establishment for quite a while, with no problems! Unfortunately, today was a NIGHTMARE! I placed a delivery and the entire order was Incorrect! I called and requested the correct order and was told to wait until they deliver me a new order. After waiting for 30 minutes, I decided to call to see the status! The women on the phone hung up on me twice as soon as I requested the status while laughing! The driver finally arrives with the food but is missing the fries and drink. When I called to let them know, a very angry man answers. He stated he was too busy to talk and has 40 orders and hung up!I have been ordering for years and I am actually happy to know I will never be supporting this establishment again!

Placed a order for delivery, system said 50 min … 2 hours later cold delivered .When I called after a hour to check , the host couldn’t even tell me when it will arrive , she didn’t have a clue … & on top one of the items I ordered was definitely spoiled .
The food was amazing, only draw back is that it took them over a long time to prepare it and was not busy at all I was the only there at the time. I removed 1 star because of slow service.
First time ordering from Retro Grill with delivery. It arrived quickly & very well packaged. Wrapped nicely, excellent containers, extra sauces & napkins. The food was fresh, tasty & plentiful. The small fries really a generous portion. Considering pre Passover, dinner time & corona situation was expecting it to take forever, we didn’t wait long at all. Will definitely order from them again!

Really great place. Sandwiches are absolutely phenomenal. Value is also relatively great. Place can get a bit packed so its sometimes a bit difficult to eat there but that only attests to the popularity of the venue. Overall, definitely recommend. Really fantastic sandwich spot.

This joint opened up awhile ago and has since been a trendy place for the young crowd. My kids absolutely love the burgers here compared to the other Glatt Kosher fast food restaurants. Adults can also enjoy meals here. The atmosphere is very nice except it could do without all the laughter and loudness from behind the counter. I have no choice but to update my review cause this place, once established, has been going downhill, especially with non existence customer service, bad attitude by the order takers and cashiers, so cheap on the sauces, crispy chicken fingers are soggy, steak sandwich is chewy. Once their image was built, they raised their prices, which is acceptable, but not when the food and service has been downgraded. It is a pity cause the place still has some good food left on the menu but if I complained 3 times in 10 days [and was promised a call from management] and no one bothered calling back, then I guess it is time to stop eating there.
This place is absolutely amazing. I just wish it was bigger. They have the most delicious food and the customer service is great. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with the smell that made you want to order everything on the menu. Other than the place being kinda small. The food tasted amazing, I got my food quick, and the customer service was very helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend this to friends and family. If they offered catering. I would definitely recommend and use them.

Ordered for delivery like I had a million times before. This time, I never got the order, and when I called, the staff was so ridiculously rude to me. When asked to speak to the manager, he was just as rude to me and told me he wasnt going to give me a refund or give me my food. After much yelling (mind you, Im a professional, working in an office environment, so everyone could hear), he said he would send the driver back. The driver magically finds the location now even though they said they couldnt find it earlier (though weve ordered from them plenty of times before...) and was delivered cold food that had been sitting for 2 hours and to top it off, had been made incorrectly. It was honestly humiliating to be treated like this in front of coworkers. My office and I are never ordering from this place again. Please steer clear if youre not fond of the worst customer service.
Run, dont walk away!If you want ice cold hamburgers, hot dogs, french fries. and delivery in 2 hours this is your place. Not only that, when you call to check on the status theyll lie and tell you its on the way. For one hour they strung me along and I kept believing them. There are plenty of better places.

Ill be honest when they first opened I loved the spot as time went it just got worse. These days the service is POOOR/ VERY RUDE food has become ehhh, price has increased and no lie they are so cheap with the sauce its just sad. If you getting a decent order delivery 50% chance they will forget something or be cheap with something I promise. I got a crunchy cutlet sandwich that had 3 micro tenders with hardly any veggies in it, no lie one of the thinnest sandwiches I have ever seen in a while plus I get a giant size wax bag with FROZEN FRIES filled a 1/4th of the way. And they forget my soda too. Whats the problem here after all this. They charge about $20 for this 1 order with tax and tip and i still cant enjoy my food because they cant get it right at all. I had a pastrami sunny side up burger here. Although the burger and pastrami were great, the sunny side up was popped and cooked solid. The seating area is small and crowded, although there are fun posters all over the walls.

It took 45 minutes to get one sandwich, which is ridiculous. I then asked for a couple of extra sauces and the owner (Israeli guy) yelled saying “You only ordered one sandwich. It’s sunday and we’re very busy. We need the sauces for other orders. If you want more sauces, you’ll have to pay for them.” What a jerk.

Friend told me to try this place, we ordered on tuesday april 10th at 9:15pm. 3 hotdogs 2 with pickels and a chicken guacamole wrap and baslamic on the side....at 10pm we call to see the where our food is.at 1045pm we call again. finally at 10:50 our food arrived. my wrap, while tasty would likely have been much better if it was more then luke warm, and if my vinigar would have come also... the hotdogs were as my friend said stiff and tasteless seeing as there were no pickels or any other sauce on them...maybe this is how they treat orders from seamless, i give no concern about that as i will actively tell people, this place sucks.
I came here with my friends and i orderd a burger fries and a coke. The burger was really nice and juicy and the fries were thick and crisp. I asked the guy to wrap my food then he started screaming at me like i did something wrong. The fine Mexican Cooks, recently dropped out of high school. Deliver a no comprende smile with extra Grease.In truth this place is no more Kosher then Saddam Husseins Farm hands.If you should be passing by and there wifi should invade Your cell phone,,I recommend you delete it immediately.

2022-06-15We chose this venue for a celebration and were very satisfied with the food as well as the retro decor. We cant speak for everything but their retro footlong, knockwurst, beef pulled egg rolls, onion rings, crispy chicken tenders and sloppy joe sandwiches were all amazing. Excellent staff working behind the counter as well.The walls were bedecked with all sorts of fun signs from the past such as ads for 1 cent bubble gum packs with baseball cards and a poster showing the original coke bottle.Overall had a great experience and would highly reccomend. Keep in mind that this is a kosher establishment and therefore might be slightly pricier than a comparable restaurant that dosent offer kosher.

2022-03-04We went there for a small friends gathering. It was our first time at Moldova Restaurant. A very pleasant place with folklore decor. Food was good, service was pretty fast and respectful. Will come back for sure.

2018-12-21Mediocre overpriced Brooklyn place with kosher stile food and tin trays with vintage posters on the walls like a decorations. All the trays make feeling among the tourist crowd on the Times Square, but prices saying even worst.And there is Philly Steak Sandwich with no cheese. Sounds like a felony but just the kosher law.
