Worst experience of my life. Chargers don’t work - they accept payment and then immediately say “complete-return charger” everyone at the station was having the same issue. I was there for an hour trying to resolve, customer service could not help because “EV gateway” does not work directly with Revel. An absolute mess. If you reading PLEASe fix this issue, really need this station
LOTS of chargers. First time Ive never had to wait for a DC fast-charging station. I charged my I3 80% in 20ish minutes while I cleaned my car and was back on the road. Very good layout and spacious. Easy to pay. Great location in between multiple neighborhoods and also close to the BQE.
Lots of chargers, they are 75kW. Every station has a Tesla CHAdeMO adapter so 75kW maxes out the station for Tesla vehicles. However for CCS cars that are 800V and over 200kW capable these chargers leave a lot to be desired. They should have installed some 350kW for future proofing.

I had a similar experience as the other drivers. After being charged $30, the car charges only for 5 min. Then it says charge complete. Please fix this.
Was in bklyn decided to check out revel charging station was at night was concerned but great lighting lots of space great charging rates and speed
Great charging hub! Chargers all work flawlessly and there are employees to make sure everything is running smoothly!
There is no awning to protect motorists from the elements.

2021-12-01Really nice to have this 25 charging station location in NYC. It is about a 10 to 15 minute drive from the BQE highway exit depending on traffic so you have to go a bit out of your way to get to the location. As of this review, all 25 chargers work with ccs1, 23 work with tesla, and 2 work with chademo.You could pay with credit card, or tap with the revel app if you put in payment info within the app. Just be aware that that I was told by a Revel tesla taxi driver that sometimes the payment might not work at a station from time to time. This happened to me on my first visit. I could not get my payment to work. The driver suggested I try a different stall and that solved the problem. So if you have trouble paying to get the chargers started, try try again.As of this review, the price of the charge is priced at 39 cents a kwh plus tax. Some of the chargers says 75 kwh max but my tesla only got just below 50 max and at times dip to the high 30s. I read that is common. Not sure if that is limited to tesla or most evs here.I am really glad this place exists. Nyc really need more places like this to make evs work. Hope this survives and that they would expand to other locations in NYC.I had to take out a star though because it would be nice to have a restroom for those long charge times if needed.

2021-07-21I have been to this charger four times over the past two weeks. The chargers are supposed to push 75kw. They have never reported charging above 44kw. My Tesla Model Y has never reported charging above 36kw despite the meter saying it was charging at 44kw. There are lots of spaces but there are zero amenities (no bathroom, no food, sketchy bodega two blocks away). I am really excited for this location to improve (we need this!!!) but as of July 20 it’s barely operating. Don’t give up Revel, we need you!

2021-09-09Note, per the specs limit of the Tesla CHAdeMO Adapter that Revel uses to charge Teslas as this site, 50 kW is the fastest possible speed youll see, but other brands should see faster speeds using the CCS connector.This is an inclusive facility with the promise for much easier ownership of any EV brand that’s capable of DC fast charging, which is nearly every EV sold today. It should really help make EV ownership much more of a possibility for local residents of Brooklyn, without having to pay to get into a garage just to charge.There were some payment processing issues experienced by several Teslas on the evening of July 7 2021, the very first day Revel launched their payment processing system at this site. Contactless payment (Apple Pay with non-Amex card such as Visa or Apple Card) seemed to work better than magnetic card swipes or chip reading. I have compiled a list of the variety of issues we saw, and reported them to Revel on July 8th 2021. Revel has stated that at least some of the known issues have been resolved.

2022-05-04Charging at Revel can get expensive.No parking fees but high charging rates.24/7 access but high charging rates.Security cams but high charging rates.Bathroom 50/50 but high charging rates.Parked less than an hour. Said it added 15 kWh. Credit card statement is $30. All the hidden fees and taxes. Stick with Tesla Supercharger network when possible. Cost of parking fee and Tesla Supercharger rate may* total less what I paid here.We need more charging hubs and competition for cheaper rates.

2022-06-12I didn’t have any of the issues that negative reviewers had. It was a really good experience. Plenty of open spaces. I was above 74kwh (out of the 75kwh max output) the entire charge on my 2022 ETron. It would be nice if there were awnings or something for when it’s raining, but I didn’t have to worry about that this first time out. I’d also like to have seen 150kwh max chargers there, but this is a huge step in the right direction. The chargers mentioned that I can pay with CC or the app, but it wasn’t clear which app, and I didn’t see anything about car charging in the Revel app, so I payed with the Amex. All in all, really smooth experience and this’ll be my go to when I don’t have time to wait for my level 2 charger in my garage.

2022-06-27Nice. Slower charge but thats fine.The real problem is these guys that work at Revel speeding around the parking lot. Its not a big a lot, and I guess they think its fine to drive 35 mph to slam into a parking spot like theyre in a fast and the furious movie??Theyre driving insanely recklessly and are going to crash into something

2022-04-20The station could be ok, but Revels customer service is far from good. They dont care about their customers much and it seems like theyre not interested in keeping them. Switching back to Uber and getting on Lime for now.Also car rental in the city is pathetic and not worth it.

2022-05-02Great charger, I got the full 75 kw in a Kia Ev6. There were a lot of free spaces available. Also no fee for parking in the lot.

2022-06-09Pulled up, hooked up, walked to a nice cafe and had lunch while my car charged. Albany to Brooklyn and back to a full charge for the return.
