Renova management doesn’t even pretend to care. All the staff, especially Anne, are rude and unhelpful. They give vague answers and are irritated when you try to follow up or get more information. My bell hasn’t been working since I moved in (8 months ago) and after numerous phone calls it still hasn’t been fixed. They are unapologetically rude, and do nothing to maintain the basic upkeep of their buildings. Do yourself a favor and do not get involved.Shore Haven is a filthy cesspool. Elevators are always getting stuck. Roaches and mice everywhere. Have issued multiple “tickets”, none of which were taken care of.
Mr. George Thomas was transferred to Staten Island and nothing got done as far as complaints . On his return a week ago, we had an issue in our apartment that was not resolved until we contacted him. He resolved it immediately. My husband Joe and I , told the other neighbors of his return and we all were jumping for JOY. He is the MVP manager of Revona Properties and should be given a big raise for his empathy for people . Welcome back and we all miss you including the neighbors. We have been here for 12 years and please don’t leave us again. Donna and Joe.
LIVE OUT YOUR SECURITY DEPOSIT!!! DO NOT PAY LAST MONTHS RENT.They will find any excuse to keep it from you. Example: I moved out recently and they took the entire security deposit claiming there were damages in the apartment. These were the same damages I put in a ticket with maintenance to fix 4 different occasions and nothing happened. I feel sorry for the next family that lives there because the corner of the building is about to collapseAlso roaches. never ending supply of roaches
Disgusting. the service staff with what problem you will come to them expects money from you. if they know that you will not give anything, they will do their job very badly and will be angry with you. you wont want to contact them again. After I call an employee to stop the water from pouring out from under the toilet flush handle, I dont call them. because the water is still pouring, and in addition, he made me so that I now flush the contents of the toilet bowl from the basin.I got the history of this apartment. all the tenants who lived before me had rent stabilization. The management of Revona deceived me, saying that when I was 62, I would be able to apply for rent stabilization.
NO HEAT !!! The rent is so expensive!!! Service is not good! Heating working not good, apartments very cold and you spending for electric bill more then $150-200 every month on winter time !!! Coming wind from the windows. Laundry room and machines are dirty. Not camera on mailing room , stolen delivery from the mailroom!!! Shore haven apartments!
Revona Management has communication issues with the tenants. They implement changes and do not inform tenants. I have left a message for Jay Rosenfeld CEO and he has no time to return calls to tenants ?? How professional is that. Now, they are trying to remove the doormen from buildings because a virtual doorman can protect tenants and packages. This new system ButterflyMX, which you need to install on your phone so you can see who is ringing your doorbell - why must we use our personal cell phones ?? I asked managemnt about this, response was this is just an option for us but the intercom system will work without it. I then asked about the doormen and no response. DO BETTER REVONA , YOU ARE ABOUT TO LOSE MANY TENANTS
Would give 0 stars if possible. The management team is disrespectful, evasive, untruthful, and incompetent. When I first paid rent, I and another customer waited outside their Washington Heights location for 30 minutes only to find out the office was closed. They didnt have a bell to ring or a sign with hours so we didnt know what was up. I had received communication that same morning telling me that it would be open so I called to clear up the misunderstanding. A different representative then told me that no office existed there and repeated tried to end the call until I had asked for her manager over 7 times. The manager then berated me for asking for her intervention, despite their subordinate giving me false information. When the office was finally open, a whole 11 days later, I called to confirm that I can go in. When I did, the office attendant wasted 15 minutes lecturing me on their preferred communication style instead of telling me if I can come into the office. When I finally confirmed that I can go, I went and they tried to prevent me from paying by saying that I had to give my rent to the super instead. I had to call their supervisor in front of them to force them to accept my money order. As I was leaving, the attendant sucked their teeth at me and turned the lights off before I reached the door.
The management that runs these building are disgusting. they are extremely rude and unprofessional; the women on the phone are aggressive and love to end calls spontaneously. theyll transfer your call before you can even finish your sentence or theyll just tell you this is the wrong department and let you speak to someone else who is even worse than them. i called in to file a complaint and the minute the lady heard that she transferred my call before i completed my sentence... the number she transferred me to never picked up. these people only business is to collect rent money. they are not here for the tenants. (side note: the heating in these buildings are trash. youll be wearing blankets around the house in winters)
If you have rented an apartment in renova, be wary of using their services. last year I asked to put a screen on the window because it was chewed by a squirrel that all the residents fed. And I also asked you to put a sprinkler on the sink tap because the water is pouring in all directions. the grid was put to me, and the tap is not just old, but ancient like this house, so the water is pouring from me. after that, my rent was raised by 10%. Be careful.
They make it really difficult to file a complaint. We called the management today and they said they would mail us a complaint form(which really delays the purpose of a complaint), and said they cant email it to us. Its 2019... why are things still being mailed again? Obviously, they try to make the complaint process as difficult as possible. On to the actual problem: When we moved into this building, it was stated on the lease that there are NO dogs allowed in our building. My entire family is allergic to dogs SO it would only make sense to move into a building where it is promised that there are no pets allowed. To make things worse, not only are there a lot of dogs in this building, BUT THEY RUN FREELY ALL OVER THE BUILDING WITH NO LEASH. This is extremely dangerous for ALL tenants and it is against the law as well. This morning, there was a dog sitting right in front of my apartment door with its owner nowhere to be found. Now this is really bad for me and my family because we are extremely allergic to pets and this is not fair for us.Management, please do something about this!!!!!UPDATE 5/12/2019: Everyday, the elevator gets stuck. Today I was in there for half an hour. Kept ringing the alarm and NOTHING.Everyday someone gets stuck in there. ELEVATOR CLEARLY NEEDS TO BE REPLACED. This has been going on for months.
I have been living here since 2011. I believe that considering that these buildings used to belong to Trump, Revona is doing a pretty darn good job. Mike is the best superintendent someone cam ask for. He knows everything and everyone. I am staying here for another few years until I am ready to retire
You know, Im afraid that the inspector will come to me. last year I called 311 because there was no heating. and how did it end? the company raised my rent to the maximum. you cant help me. the rich are always right here. and we live in these sheds and are afraid to complain about them. because Ill have to find another apartment. Im 62 years old.My answer to goverment
The building on Ebbitts St has a serious roach infestation problem. When I mean serious, I mean to the point you cannot cook or take food out to prepare a roach will come out immediately. I really dont know how anyone lives there. My 2nd day in the apartment, I took my stuff and left. I paid for a month that I didnt even live there and broke the lease. It was the worst experience and management by far is the worst Ive ever dealt with. Also, people leave trash in the halls, homeless people sleeping in the lobby, a woman on drugs playing with herself in the lobby. I literally mean at all times in the halls are either dead or live roaches. It is absolutely disgusting and the city should step in and shut it down.
Stay away from them! Buildings are very dirty, lots of rats, bugs. When you call them to fix something, they respond very rudely! And you have to call them back again and again! No heat during the winter, had to call 311 every week. Not safe place to live in any of their properties where they manage.
I lived in an apartment complex that they owned for a year. Within that year getting in touch with management was impossible. But when they need something from you they will call you non-stop and of course threaten with legal action. Even upon moving out the woman im supposed to speak with has yet to return a phone call. If you want to find a place to live dont ever go with anything associated with Revona, youll be bounced around, left to speak to answering machines and never acquire any type of support. Im forced to give them 1 star, yet they deserve zero. Im not typically a review writing person, but their lack of ability to be an effective/efficient company has created a desire within me to waste 5 minutes of my life to try and dissuade anyone who would ever consider giving them business.

2022-04-13Absolutely terrible. Youre lucky if you get hot water. Need maintenance work done? Good luck. Youll be waiting 6+ months. Paying your rent on time means nothing when you get an apartment that appears to be new but is actually breaking down all over the place. No heat whatsoever. Maybe theyre just cheap with the heat so it turns on at the most random days and for no more than 5 minutes. So it does literally nothing. Space heating is what we have to rely on. Seems like every other month one of our ceilings starts getting water damage from upstairs neighbors. When they finally come to fix it all the do is leave these hideous wooden boards on your ceiling that stick out like crazy. Im lucky if I turn the water on and it takes less than 10 minutes for it to get warm. Im lucky at all if it even gets warm. Terrible management. While Im lucky to have a roof over my head, I feel like Im living in housing conditions while paying regular NYC rent.

2022-03-04As a tenant of Revona Properties, I am proud to say that A, whenever I have an issue, it’s taken care of in an expeditious manner. B, the building I live in is super clean. Our Super is absolutely fantastic. The staff here is friendly, and very helpful. To give just an example, we have 2 children and one is just a few months old. Whenever my wife comes into the apartment, the guys always rush to open and hold the door for her. Help carry her bags, and most importantly, do it with a smile.Thank you Revona!

2022-04-19Review is based on my experience in getting in touch with this office: VERY difficult to do. I was looking to rent an apartment here since I’m always in the area. Their agent Jamil was really (really, really) slow to respond to emails, and was not reading my emails properly therefore prolonging what should have been a straightforward Q&A. Then he just stopped responding after 2 super simple exchanges. Their office is also just impossible to reach, they don’t answer their phone or emails. I guess business must be good, if they don’t need any more of it :)If this is a sign of how reactive they are to actual tenants, then I’ll gladly pass. I’d hate to live somewhere with issues (judging from previous reviews, there def were issues in these buildings), and not have a responsive management to work with. It’s too bad, I’m a responsible renter and a “desirable applicant”…. Oh well, plenty of apartments in Brooklyn that value prospective tenants.

2022-02-07I have been trying to view and available apartment since 3 days, they do not reply to your request or calls or texts. After the 3rd day I set an appointment to view it with Jimit Shah. He does not even share his mobile number. Only contacts through emails. I drove 2 hours in traffic to get to shore haven apartments and the guy completely ghosted me. Absolutely the worst behavior possible. Now I see the ratings and realize this is who they are. Careless staff.

2022-04-11You don’t want to live here. The new owner is nice however unless he does a complete management overhaul their buildings especially Westminster Luxury Apartments will be a revolving door of disgruntled tenants. In the office Nadine is just a bad mood walking. I feel sorry for anyone who speaks to her. Don’t waste your time the pool is always cold parking is like rent concierge service is a joke and don’t get me started on the laundry rooms. Never enough hear or hot water. They don’t care about the tenants believe me.

2022-02-11They deserve no stars for how pathetic this company run their buildings & their office. They do not care about their tenants or how their supers handle their buildings. They make you jump through hoops to get 1 thing done. Also they do not supply enough heat to their apartments & would rather let you freeze than help you. WORST COMPANY EVER !!!!!!! Im a current resident & work at a management office myself & Im disgusted by how they treat anyone. NO ONE SHOULD EVER LIVE HERE !!!!!!!!!

2022-05-18I live in the property in Staten Island. I left a message on Erics phone and email a month now. I also emailed him about the constant strange smell in my living room and loud music all night long from the neighbor next door. My neighbor snoops in the back yard and constantly harasses the tenant below himNothing is being done. I am going to make a police report for my safety.

2021-12-28Trying to move from 1 bedroom apartment to another a 2 bedroom. They explain the procedure, connect to necessary people but things didnt move in the beginning. Later, could get in touch with agents who were nice and helpful. We find an apartment which is slightly bigger and $100 more expensive where I live. I submit the required documents and wait for them to check me. After a long wait and constant inquiries which lasted a month and half - refusal, I dont qualify. No reasons given. Only after I decide to apply again I am told about probable deficiencies in my documents which I could correct if I had a feedback from company. Conclusion : I moved to a 2-bedroom apartment (other company) and found qualified despite the fact that its $525 more expensive than the one I applied with Revona because this time I knew what to do.However, having lived for past 3 years in one of Revonas places I cant be dissatisfied because very responsible and responsive for maintenance and other issues.
