The sales associate on a Sunday was kind and helpful and recommended me to places where I needed something they did not have. This is the type of store for actual painting, though if you are crafty you may find things. I found the paper I was looking for for a bookcover. Personally as a visual artist more of the things I find are at the neighboring art store.Though I am glad I had a positive experience at Rhinebeck and will stop by again if needed for artist supply advice.

I have now had 10 different art works framed at their shop and the quality of their work is excellent and the price is good, not cheap but great value since similar quality in the city would be a much higher price. The guy who does the framing is very helpful and has a lot of different options/choices and he helps you navigate these well.

My Go-To for art supplies. The best in the area (including New Paltz and Kingston) - everything from acrylics to yupo. Wide range of choices - from beginner to professional supplies. Knowledgable and friendly staff! Discounts for real artists! Wise advice ! Great framing! Sure the shop is crowded - its filled with all the art materials that you long to browse, buy, and use! Funny toys and lovely cards, too.

Great experience with both staff, they had a great attitude and did a great job cutting a custom mat for me. Definitely will go back and recommend to others.

Variety of supplies but not alot of anything some calligraphy nibs not many, some spray paint but not a large selection, the same is to be said for other products. Good shop to visit and has a little of everything.

Great place.great people.My artist wife needed to have 2 prints matted. They did a superb job .. highly recommend them. I will be back.

Nice selection of supplies. Woman behind the desk was just itching to cast some shade on the slightest of interaction with her. Maybe she was just having a bad day?

Excellent veriety. Lots of options in paint, pencils, markers, and pastels. They carry both higher end and student grade products.
