Great experience working with the staff at Richmond Auto Body. JoJo,Chris and staff are like family. Very easy to work with quality in details. And your car/ truck will come out as if it wasnt even hit. Everyone at Richmond is courteous and professional. They explained the work that needed to be done. When my car was finished someone went over what was done. My car looks great! The ladies in the front kept me informed of the progress.
Pete, Chris and the rest of the team at Richmond are a first class operation. They restored my 2013 Chevy Avalanche back to new condition. There was extensive damage to the rear quarter. The team at Richmond went above and beyond what other operations were willing to commit to in terms of finding hard-to-find parts for a car of this age. They did everything they said they were going to do, when they said they were going to do it. Along the way they kept me informed at every stage of the repair.

Ive been taking my car here for years for all my autobody needs. Took my vehicle here because I cracked my bumper, among other things (damaged skid plate, fog light out of its socket, and broken fender). Mustve hit a snow bank or something. Did a walk around with a team member and we assessed the damage. I finally have my car back after a few weeks and it looks brand new! I know Im in good hands with Richmond Auto Body. It was great seeing Chris and the rest of the Richmond Auto Body family! Do not hesitate to bring your vehicle here. Richmond will take great care of you!

I can’t thank them enough. When the insurance company was giving me the run a round and lying to me about the status of my claim. From start to finish the process was easy and simple. When I went to dropped my car off They set up the rental car for me so it was waiting for me at the body shop . I was able to drop the rental back and leave at Richmond when my car was ready and most importantly my car looks as it did when It left the show room

Any car collision can be terrifying and anxiety inducing. This was my first accident and with all the damage done I thought I was at a loss. This team brought my car back from the every tiny bit of damage and worked with my GEICO insurance to get it looking brand new again! Highly recomend, very polite and profession staff from the front desk to the repairs room, everyone is outstanding. Thank you guys for everything !!!
Based on all these great reviews I decided to take my vehicle there when someone had rear ended my car. After over 3 weeks of them having my car, I went to pick up my car and it was making a strange loud noises and the airbag sign was on. Michael who provided the estimate who works in the shop based on his “expertise” decided to tell the insurance company that the airbag sign was not part of the accident. I very well knew that it was part of the accident because the light was not on prior to the accident and airbag sigh can even pop up few days after the accident. Long story short I had to bring my car to Bmw and after their diagnostic, it was determined that indeed the airbag sign was part of the accident as headrest needed to be reset. This is terrible on their part as they made me go through a ringer for something that was supposed to be done. My car started making weird noises and for that I had to pay extra out of my pocket which it turns also was part of the exhaust the they “fixed”. I will never be going there again. I will make sure none of my friends and family go there again.
Just bought my new truck and of course 5 days later the truck get sideswiped outside my house Richmond auto body did a fantastic job. I hope I won’t ever need a body shop again but if I do I will definitely go back

I recently needed to replace my Passenger side mirror, and was referred through a family member who had an excellent experience to Richmond Auto Body. When I stopped in to get an Estimate, I had an exact estimate/ price for the replacement to the mirror in 5 minutes, and found the person who gave the estimate very professional. When I dropped off my vehicle to get the replacement, the staff again was very professional. friendly and made the entire process very easy for me. The price of their Labor was very fair, and within a couple of hours my car was finished and ready to pick up.On top of the service and value they cleaned the interior of my car which was not necessary but a very nice gesture! I have a very expensive car and I am very finicky I wanted the car kept inside and they did I wanted the car kept clean and they did and I wanted the front end damage to be like you never knew it happened and they did theyre a great company definitely use them again
I came to order a license plate bracket, and they drilled the plate into my bracket on my front bumper. They were reliable, professional, and efficient. I would use them again for any service!

BEST BODY SHOP! They towed me from the accident and gave me a ride home from the body shop. My car was hit bad and they did an excellent job aligning the front fender/bumper/hood. All brand new original parts. Paint job was superb…matched perfectly! My front wheel was smashed under the car and they replaced the entire strut/suspension/control arm, etc. I was afraid it wouldn’t drive straight after the accident, but they did an amazing job with the alignment. Drives straighter now than it did when I bought it from the dealer! Highly recommend using this body shop not only for the quality but the service as well. Grade A professional service!

These guys just fixed the molding on my 30 year old station car and it looks great. They screwed in a loose piece of molding. They didnt charge and wouldnt even take a tip.Chris at Richmond was honest. He assessed some of my wants and convinced me taking his free service was better than what I wanted to pay for. How do you beat this kind of honesty?Over the years, Theyve done other body work on other cars we have and it came out great.The office ladies are also attentive and a hoot. Richmond Auto Body is the best. The staff is friendly, and the shop is extremely clean. I travel to this auto body over any other one because of how professional the work is and everytime I get my car back I know it’ll be turn key ready to go with no issues. I had the most pleasant experience at Richmond Auto body! A couple of months ago someone backed into my car and I was dreading taking the car in to get fixed. From what I heard, taking your car to a shop usually entails sitting and waiting forever to be assisted, and then having to wait a minimum of a week to get your car fixed. This was not the case with Richmond Auto body. Not only did they fix my car very quickly, they provided me with exceptional customer service. The women in the front room were very sweet and greeted me from the moment I walked in. They set me up with an online tracker so I could see when my car was expected to be ready, and called me to give me updates. The gentlemen who worked on my car did a full walk through and thoroughly explained the work they did and even gave my car a fresh wash and a shiny coat of wax. As if my experience couldn’t get any better, the women in the front room even gave me a little parting gift as I left. If I ever have to get work on my car again, I will definitely choose Richmond Auto body. Great work guys! And thank you so much for such great customer service!!
My car was hit and after reading reviews about Richmond Auto Body at 91 Merrick Road, Amityville, I decided to take my car to them to be repaired.Overall, it only took 5 days from the time I dropped off my car until I was called to pick it up. I have to say that am extremely satisfied with the outcome of the repairs. No one can tell that my car was ever damaged, thats how good my car looks. They made all the repairs and even replaced my broken/stuck antenna at their expense. They also have a great warranty for their work. The entire staff at Richmond Auto Body are kind, welcoming very professional and maintain a pleasant atmosphere. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. I was unfortunately involved in my first car accident and chose Richmond for my vehicle repairs. I would absolutely recommend! My car came back to me looking better than it did before the accident. Chris was one of the first people I spoke with after the accident, I was definitely a wreck, and he walked me through the process and helped calm me down which is for sure not in his job description. Amazing experience at Richmond Auto Body. Got rear ended on a Tuesday. Found Richmond through my insurance. Dropped off my car the following Monday morning. Car was repaired in 2 days and was back in my car Wednesday morning. Quality work backed by their own warranty and wonderful customer service. I now carry their business card in my wallet for that day that hopefully never comes.Icing on the cake is there’s a car rental on-site with a nice selection of cars. Great service by them as well!

I made an appointment to get my back bumper fixed on my Honda Civic after I was rear ended, right in the middle of the covid19 pandemic nonetheless. The workers here were so nice and updated me on change in operating hours due to the virus. They called to confirm my appointment, the process was quick and easy. Extremely pleasant and helpful staff. I got text messages to update me on when my car was estimated to be ready and it was ready 3 or 4 days early!! Overall great experience and they gave me a scratch off ticket and I won $1 off of it!!!! :) plus really attractive mechanic that did the walk around with me. 10/10!!!!! Thank u Richmond!!!

My car was hit while parked in front of my house. Even though I was out of town due to a family emergency, Jojo from Richmond Auto was able to arrange for my car to be picked up on a Saturday. She worked directly with the insurance company so the process was simple and efficient. Additionally, I received status updates regarding the repairs via text. In spite of the holidays, my car was ready in a little over a week. When I picked it up, Chris and Jojo were both friendly and professional and my car looked immaculate. Not only was it fully repaired, it had been washed and vacuumed as well. It was an absolute pleasure doing business with Richmond Auto. This has been my best experience dealing with a body shop.

Was up front and honest about everything, gave me alternatives and routes we can go to fix the chip in the hood of it. It was easy, fast and great work.

My experience with Richmond Auto Body was excellent. Years ago I had them do repairs on my previous car and I was very satisfied in every regard so I hoped it would be great this time as well. Yes it was fantastic!!!! Here is why... they were organized ahead of my drop off with my insurance company and the enterprise rental car was there waiting. They kept me updated while my car was being worked on. When I came to pick up my car it looked as good as the day I bought it!!! (It’s 8 years old). All of the staff is courteous and helpful. I would recommend them to my best friend.

Unfortunately this past time was my third time using Richmond in the past 3 years. Not because it was their fault, just that I’ve had bad luck and have been in 3 accidents. Every time I’ve had to leave my truck there everyone has been nothing but professional, and they always make the repair process very easy for me. Most importantly they do very good work! I’d like to mention that Chris, Donna, and Jojo are the usual people I deal with there and they are always very professional and helpful!

I brought my 2017 Ram 1500 to Richmond Auto for some bodywork. From start to finish the customer service that the entire staff gave was exceptional!!They treated me with 1st class service, answered all my questions and reassured me of the workmanship. Awesome shop, great customer service from start to finish. Very Friendly, personable staff. The office was clean and neat. I was so HAPPY with the out come of my repairs. To be honest it looks like I was never in an accident. My car was cleaned in and out to my surprise. Being a parent to 2 toddlers there are always cheerios stuffed in between the seats and on the floor. NOT one cheerio was to be found when i picked it up :) Thank you Richmond for such an awesome experience from start to finish. And to make things even easier I was able to leave my rental car there as well. You guys Rock!!

Have had work done at Richmond Auto Body more than once (embarrassingly, this is the second time in one year!). Always very professional. My door was stuck I could not open it from the inside or outside. They order my parts and they came really fast.I have a 2000 BMW 7 series so it was not a new car by far.The Tech who looked at the car was able to fix my Issue in about a 1/2 hour.He was Outstanding and knowledgeable. The staff is extremely professional, and warm. What was most notable is that it was not just me they treated nice. Every customer that came in was treated with great care. I have to say Richmond Auto Body was a pleasure to deal with when I had to have body work done on my vehicle when it was damaged when someone ran a red light and hit my vehicle. They repaired the body damage to my car, were very friendly, professional and fast. I was also able to get a rental car right from them so there was no inconvenience at all. This place is phenomenal. I dropped my car off on a Wednesday and was told it would take about a week to fix, but 2 days later, it was ready! Now I know that has to do with getting parts and such so it isn’t the same for everyone, but my overall experience was great. They walked me through everything beforehand and were very clear on the details regarding the rental car I would have. When I came to pick up my car, they walked me through the repairs and explained all of the pricing and totals so I wouldn’t be confused on anything. Overall I had a great experience and everyone was very patient and helpful, I would definitely go back again!

Great experienceThis was my first auto body repair experience so I didn’t know what to expect.I’ve heard people complain about repairs they have had done by others so I was ready for something to go wrong.The service desk explained everything that would be done to my car and how long it would take to make the repairs. They took care of all the insurance paperwork, called for my rental car to be there when I arrived, and there time estimate for the completion was exactly as they said.Overall a great experience and will be recommending them to friends and family..

Richmond Auto Body was a very nice, and EASY, experience. The staff were extremely welcoming, accommodating, and on top of their game. They were very quick with fixing up my car and I could not be more grateful for that. A lot of the time you hear horror stories when it comes to Auto Shops, but I can honestly say this one was a 5/5 in my book. I dont WISH anyone has cause to use Richmond Auto Body for accident repair- but if you find yourself in that position, youll be well taken care of. Richmond is like family- they will take care of your car- treat you with honesty and fairness- and make sure you understand every step of the process. They made an annoying process fun- and they even helped me hold my puppy while they explained the process to me! I know I have puppy sitters for life! They fully integrate with Allstate insurance and offer a guarantee on their work for as long as you own your car. And.. they washed and vacuumed my mom van for me (one grateful mom here).
There arent enough words to describe how incredible Richmond Auto Body is. Ive known the staff at Richmond Auto Body for a long time, as I used to work for the rental company that sits on-site at Richmond, but Ive been removed from the auto repair/rental industry for a few years now. Back in November, I was rear-ended and the gentleman who hit me could not go through his insurance company. It was as if I had never worked in the industry (for several years) and I completely panicked. I then went directly to Richmond Auto Body where Jojo, Chris, & Donna helped to get me a fair & accurate estimate for the work I needed done & even went the extra mile to talk to the gentleman who would be paying for the repairs directly! Of course, I picked up my car and it looked absolutely beautiful. The inside was so clean & the repairs on the outside TRULY made the car brand new. As I left the facility (during a snowstorm), an older gentleman in front of me stopped short and I rear-ended him. A second accident within minutes of picking up my newly-fixed, clean car. I went RIGHT back to Richmond where they could not have been more reassuring of how they would help me with this. I called my insurance company, had a claim number within minutes, and there Richmond was able to help me get my car inspected through the Geico appointment I had only JUST set up. They also had a rental car there waiting for me from Enterprise Rent-A-Car (Billy Kuschner is FANTASTIC). A situation that wouldve normally been absolutely terrible became much easier & better than I EVER imagined. Again, Jojo, Chris, Donna, Pete, Adrianna -- EVERYONE at Richmond Auto Body is incredible. The work they do is flawless. I would recommend this shop 11 times out of 10!
What an incredible experience. I was so mad about getting into an accident but my car was fixed perfectly. They were fast and helpful throughout the entire experience. Its not always easy to find a good body shop anymore, my experience with Richmond has always been amazing. Their work and customer service is outstanding, i usually deal with Matt who is very knowledgeable and skilled at what he does. I went through him to color match some after market parts for my truck and he truly did an amazing job!
I am not a young man, and as a result I have been to many body shops many years ago. Every one of them the owner was sketchy and the service felt like they did not care about the car I owned as much as I did. In this case my Mercedes Benz GLE 350, was involved in an accident. Richmond for over 30 years is the only shop I or my entire extended family will ever bring our cars to. First off, the owners, the Litvinoff’s, are not the typical body shop owners. Peter, and his wife Adrianna care about the product they deliver and about me and my family, genuinely. What’s nice is both their sons are large parts of this ongoing family run business. They all make me feel at home. Chris, the guy who wrote up the damage was terrific. Every step of the way Jo Jo and Donna kept me informed. I was not a number. I never write reviews but when I walk away with a quality repair and paint job I am going to express my appreciation, as we all should do. So I thank all of you at Richmond for always a continuing positive experience in a stress filled circumstance of having an accident.

When I backed into the phone pole, I was devisted with so many other things going on in my life; my sister recommended Richmond because theyd taken excellent care of Dads Lincoln. The insurance contated them, Richmond took over, walked through everything I needed, had a rental waiting for me (and same on rental return) and my Subaru came back clean as when I bought it, and with a perfect fender. I took my 2019 Grand Cherokee over to these guys for a sideswipe accident, oh man. These guys are the real deal. From the moment I got there I was treated with upmost respect by Chris (very tall guy). He was professional/friendly and even offered some advice. My truck was done in the exact timing they said itd be done. They even made a small adjustment to my front bumper, at no cost. Very excellent work. Made me feel really comfortable hrough the whole process with daily updates and explained the process before work and after work completed. They promised me my van back a certain day and they finished a day early without sacrifices on craftsmanship. My van was 8 months old and came out looking like I just picked it up at dealership.

2022-05-14Had my car fixed here after I pretty bad accident. They were super friendly and accommodating from the beginning and gave me some advice to save some money while I waited for parts that were on back order. The work was completed ahead of schedule and the car looks amazing! They really did an outstanding job and guarantee their work for the life of the vehicle. I would recommend this place the EVERYONE. Great staff, amazing service.

2022-05-16I was unfortunately involved in 2 separate, no fault, accidents. Richmond Auto worked with BOTH 3rd party insurance companies!! The staff were EXTREMELY helpful, pleasant & knowledgeable. A great team! They did a GREAT JOB! My car was completed in 5 days! My car looks great! Very pleased.

2022-06-10The team at Richmond Auto Body was tasked with fixing my car after an accident and they did a fabulous job!! Currently there is a shortage in parts and my car needed over 300 new parts, they pulled all the strings including personally picking up some parts from different parts of the country to fix it as soon as possible!! The entire team is extremely friendly and customer focused. It was a true pleasure to be serviced by the entire team and I would strongly recommend them.

2022-05-06We were on Long Island from Massachusetts for my daughter’s game and we’re involved in an accident. My vehicle was towed to Richmond Auto Body for repairs and my worries were gone…Once back home, I was a little concerned about how repairs would go. That’s when Donna took over and was absolutely awesome with communication and coordination of the great people at Richmond Auto body and getting my vehicle back on the road.Donna was there every step of the way until my vehicle was ready for pick up. She always had a great attitude and and worked with me to to strategize a successful pickup up of my vehicle.Bob sent pictures at every angle of the vehicle once repaired. Peter gave me detailed instructions on how to take the Long Island Railway from JFK to the shop in order to pickup my vehicle in the most economical way.I picked up the vehicle yesterday and it looked and drove like new! 2022-05-28Brought my Hyundai Tucson in for repair after a fender bender. It now looks better than new. They are highly skilled. This is the second time I have used them. They also did a minor repair to my Honda Odyssey. Richmond is always pressional and courteous. They offer options along with their best recommendations for repair. I. trust them to become my solution and not a part of the problem. Highly recommend.

2021-11-17Great Experience! Richmond Auto Body, did a fantastic job on my Dodge Grand Caravan! From the moment I walked in I was met with kindness and courteousness as well as extreme understanding from Chris and the secretarial staff. He explained everything in great detail as what would be done and what I would generally expect. He listened to all my questions and concerns and addressed each one. He handled everything from coordinating with the insurance company to booking my rental and made sure it would be ready and waiting for me when I brought the vehicle in to begin the work. The work was completed on schedule in a timely manner, approximately two weeks. They made the entire process easy and stress free. Upon receiving my completed vehicle, I am extremely satisfied with all the work done. The paint job matched perfect and shined in the sun! Very nice work indeed. I highly recommend trusting Richmond Auto Body with any of your vehicles auto body repair.

2022-03-08My insurance company had me bring my car to Richmond Auto Body after a car hit me on the back bumper. The people were nice and very accommodating. They made arrangements for a car rental. I picked up my car about 3 or 4 days later and extremely satisfied with the work. I would recommend them to anyone who needs body work done.
