2018-02-20I used Richmond Hill Lumber when I did a gut renovation of my apartment.They ended up being more reasonable compared to the big box stores but more importantly they were beyond helpful.We got our doors, floors, and crown moldings from them and couldnt be happier. They had options for every price range.When you shop at a big box store you are lucky if you find someone who can answer a question. That is not the case here.Remember Richmond hill lumber will deliver too!Everyone we worked with was professional and helpful from the owners, sales people to the delivery people.

2019-06-03This hardware is more used by contractors as theyre not much of a household hardware store although they give you great service. If you are purchasing materials for home improvement you will get good prices on many items.

2019-04-30No wonder Home depot is always Busy! We frequently went to Richmond Hill Lumber to buy gutters and other supplies for the past few years. We recently bought 50 plus bundles of shingles. 3 bundles was remaining and I ask the manager if it will be an issues to return the extra. When I returned the extra...which I help put back on the forklift..they charged me a return fee. Guess what Richmond Hill lumber, I learned my lesson. Its not the money but the principal behind it. You do know HD sell shingles cheaper by volume . We chose to do business with you but surely we not valued . But its store policy! Penney wise pound foolish.

2020-07-19Great customer service, went to buy some cedar boards and they went above and beyond to get me a price and also picked out the boards for me even when the place was super busy. Going back there for all my lumber needs.

2016-10-04The men that work there are scam artists. They act like they dont hear you and when you ask them something they feel you have no choice but to buy from them. I brought back an extra box wood that I didnt use and they tried to tell me that because the box was open they couldnt take it ,but I receive 7 boxes of floor wood open. Also they said it would be a 15% charge when I brought back the extra wood and when I did bring it the guy said its 25%.
