Ridge Hill in other cities:
It is a nice open mall with a village feel to it.The pandemic has surely made it look like a ghost town, with reduced activity. We went for a household family dinner at The Cheesecake Factory. The village itself could be so much better with more village activities - based on visits from before the pandemic.
Pleasantly surprised by this relatively new, open air concept, higher end but still practical “lifestyle” mall. Came from Brooklyn for the excellent LEGO Land Discovery Center. Breadth of dining options. Playground in the center “square” is a nice touch and provides a welcome respite for parents with young children. Some empty storefronts and small and fairy unclean public bathrooms (much better options in some of the larger stores).
One of the best malls to travel to if one is trying to get out the city. You have the options to go shopping here and also eat from a various selections of restaurants. If you get bored from shopping you also have to options to stop by the movie theaters, workout, or even go indoor sky diving. This location is pretty cool and chill. They have speakers throughout the sidewalk which seems relaxing and welcoming.
Really a wonderful and welcoming shopping center. This is one of those place you want to keep coming back and never leave. Time passes so quick while you are in there.Even and the way in is a journey worth the time.If you are the take risk kind of person and sky diving is on the top of your bucket list. Then why not trying indoor sky diving just get Ifly and youll see and experience all the excitement of feeling the cold and fast breeze on your hair while free falling but in a more secure way.If you are into great food and just more that one of the most famous dessert, the cheese cake factory should be your first stop.Christmas is around the corner and still missing gifts for those special people around you, Banana republic is the store, great sales to take advantage of on always great quality clothing and accessories. Is cold outside and we all want to be warm without be dealing with the amount of clothing. Uniqlo if the store with one of the thinnest and warmthes fabrics in the market and with affordable prices. With the euforia of the the new iPhone x out, you should pay a visit to the apple cube at the mall.If you want to enjoy a great variety of cocktails as well as homemade type of food Havana central the restaurant you have to stay at.And if you think findings parking is going to be a hassle you should think twice. There plenty floor of really affordable and always available parking space for you and your family. As a recommendation go at night so you can enjoy the beautiful Christmas tree located on one of the entrances, just beautiful.
First time for us. We went to the theater because there were playing Encanto(even though our kids seen it like a million types on Disney+), we waiting them to experience there current favorite movie in the big screen. The Mall was cool, we like the collection of stores and we cant wait to go back.
I like this mall a lot—well kept grounds-beautiful landscaping—but the clientele is becoming abusive if everything that makes this a beautiful place to shop or just walk around. I am writing this review for the purpose of warning others to be aware of this problem. My son works in the mall and like everyone else uses the parking lots. His vehicle which has the new technology for drivers assistance was burglarized of a part which will cost $500 to replace. There’s was no major damage to the car but a small part of the front radiator grid was removed to get the part which is how we noticed the problem. Okay it’s not the catalytic converter but it’s still an expensive technology part. The mall needs to have more active security to discourage this kind of clientele who are downgrading the facility. I highly advise everyone who comes to the Ridgehill Mall to be cautious
Giant mall many stores! Lots of shopping stores. Tons of places to do fun things such as Lego land and a trampoline park among others. They also have a play area for children. It is outside so weather permitting. Theres an area with fake green grass thats great for sitting and maybe even picnicking with friends and family. Parking is not free but it is cheap. 4 dollars for up to 6 hours and 9 dollars for the whole day parking. So dont lose your ticket. And remember to pay before you get back in your car to exit. But if you forget they have spots near the pay machine to park quickly and pay. Tons of parking lots. Very clean. They also have a giant fountain the kids love throwing change in and making wishes! Have Fun!
Passes by here a couple of days ago when I went to visit my family after 2 years of not being there, not sure why the main street is closed off but it’s been a while, that still doesn’t take away from how nice and tranquil this place is, (bonus) parking lot is free to supercharge your Tesla, although not sure how long that’s going to be that way hopefully they don’t make it where you have to pay for parking as well as to charge your vehicle!
Its a beautiful place nestled on top of a ridge as the name suggests. Got all major brands such as Apple, Uniqlo, Banana Republic, L.L Beans, Orvis, Gap, Old Navy, H&M, Sephora, ELF, etc. Good restaurants and fast food booths. Also has a big Whole Foods store. No parking hassles with lots around for just $3 during weekdays and $4 during weekends for four or six hours. And a lot of places to keep your kids entertained - Legoland, Rocking Jump and iFly.
I got to visit this mall taking my daughter to Legoland Discovery. Its a beautiful set up. Lots of shops. Parking is $3 for 6 hours on weekdays. Thats one of the inconveniences. There are a lot of stores and restaurants. Due to the vast real estate, everything seemed far off. Very clean and organized.
When Ridge Hill opened, I wondered if an open air mall made any sense in Yonkers but given the Coronavirus and the concerns about shopping inside huge malls, I think being outside while shopping is probably one of the safer activities available. When we were at Ridge Hill today, we noticed that there was no charge for parking! This is their new policy to help motivate shoppers to come to out and check out their stores. I checked with Ridge Hill and parking will remain FREE until after the Christmas Holidays! At the entrance of every store we entered, there were large bottles of hand sanitizers and we were also impressed with the selection of masks being sold at stores like Old Navy and L.L.Bean. And most importantly, everyone we saw were wearing masks!
It is a nice mall, super clean and a lot of stores. I always liked to go there but now I am a mom and I found out that they don’t have a breastfeeding room for moms and I was really disappointed. It would be nice if they had a room where you can breastfeed with privacy while you enjoy shopping or dining with your family.
This place is a mall with variety of stores, beauty parlors, gyms and restaurants. There are massive parking lots and security guards to make you feel safe & secure. They have a well organized management and customer service is second to none. Very great place for shopping and dining. Theres no public commute except private cars and taxis. It makes the place not accessible to the average joe.
Simply love this place. Its like youre in a totally different state. Tons of designer stores. Even a huge apple store. Love it. A MUST visit. Its really a kind of out of body experience. You will think youre actually down south somewhere. Benches for you to sit down and relax. A beautiful water fountain to sit and enjoy. Tons of stores. You just have to visit here to enjoy this experience. If you have kids, theres even a nice playground there for them. You can sit down and relax while they play. I would give this place 10 stars... Really. A must VISIT....
I like the atmosphere at the stores and restaurants that visited. Do Yard House and the cheesecake factory staff was very friendly and the food was was good. I look forward to returning to make more selections from the restaurants menu and Ill be glad to supply my opinions about the outcomes of the visits. Thus far everything has been positive Im
Reason for going was The Cheesecake Factory. Friendly and attentive staff. Order was simple cake pickup which was very quick to be brought out. All staff follows Covid-19 protocol. Will return for a full sit down experience soon. Reserving my potential 5 star rating for the full experience...
5 stars while the parking is free! But 4 stars since I can’t get a cell signal in most of the mall. This mall is out of the way if you are not driving, but is well kept and the stores are not usually over packed. Two things to work on… 1) permanent free parking 2) better cell service! Who builds a multimillion dollar mall with hardly any cell service?
There is absolutely nothing about this new construction that appeals to me. I myself have a large streak of vanity, but to this day I still cannot understand the logic behind spending $200 on a pair of jeans (that are pre-worn, which is like, um, I can do that myself for free), $1000 for a purse and $2000 for a leather suitcase that has a bunch of Ls on it (oh yes, its got great stitching).
If i can give this mall a 20 star i will, but for that to happen they need to bring a target to the location. This mall is beautiful and feel so bushy. I will recommend you do the hike to this mall you will not regret it. Me and my sister Come here just for the senery to do her fashion pictures. But please do visit :)
One of my favorite Malls to visit! Although some smaller businesses have shuttered their doors because of Pandemic, Ridge Hill still has plenty of options for shopping, dining and entertainment. Recently, went to a summer weekly open market that had a selection of independent wines, spirits, cheeses, ice cream and veggies. Such great fun learning, tasting and shopping. LOVE Ridge Hill!!
Update. No more parking break when you go to the theater. But, yay, theres now a starbucks. Think it says a lot of bad things about america that this place carries a higher than 4 star ratingThe worst place on earth! Malfunction in parking machines constant. Pay to park at a mall!!!? a great mix of stores. But we refer to it as Stepford Hill like Stepford Wives. Numbing. Canned music blaring from speakers everywhere. Phony town look. But the worst is the paid parking and robotic pay system. Charge people for privilege of giving them business!? Theaters are good and at least they knock parking charge off your concessions. Its basically a s--- show of a retail experience.
Beautiful combination of indoor/outdoor shopping and dining with something for all ages. Great kids park in the middle of it catering to kids needs for play. Gardening classes on Fridays outside of the winter season and Farmers market makes this quite the destination to shop, walk or just hang out.
So this has become one of my favorite places to shop . It’s a small serene shopping center where you can dine shop or just go on a nice walk . They have an AMC theater and Legoland is located in the same vicinity. The place is super clean and just an all around great place for a relaxing and entertaining day with the family. I highly recommend this place.
When I went to ridge Hill this weekend that was free parking which was a pleasure surprise. During coffee I appreciate this shopping center way more than when the first opened up its an outdoor center that has legally walks to all the stores. My only issue is. It is shaped like a rectangle so the walk is longer from one end to the other end instead of a square but they have first class stores Legoland for the kids and a beautiful updated movie theater cold cinema deluxe. A wide variety of different stores mostly more on the upper end but a fun place to visit across the street they have actually a skydiving machine that my kids always want to go to. Youre also close to school leons which is also a treat
Have been here numerous times, overall WM is very nice. However the mammogram dressing room/waiting area had a very strong smell of body odor. Not the first time I noticed this. Looking at the bathroom schedule in this area, it was last serviced on 8/7/21, I was there on 8/19....
This was my first time at this mall. I liked that it was not packed with people. There was plenty of space to social distance. We did not do indoor dining. We were to do some minor shopping. We got that done at three stores and we left. However, I did like the layout and we felt safe.
I have been shopping here since the place was built and it has continuously been a pleasure. Since the pandemic, parking is free which is great. It also has one of the best outpatient medical centers. So if you live in Upper Manhattan or the Bronx and you need an Apple store, a Container store, PF Chang, a TJ Maxx etc etc try this place. Its very convenient.
The food and atmosphere was great. Our servers were very courteous and the wait time was short. We had cobb salad, korean chili garlic wings, Hennessey whisky glazed salmon and bbq wings. Sangria and passion fruit seltzer water (non alcohol) were also in the mix, seated outdoors and enjoyed the music. Loved the experience!
Slowly in downward spiral. Whole Foods is about the only real reason to go there. Cheesecake Factory is popular but how often are you going to eat there? All the other restaurants and businesses often have more staff than customers. Apple is Apple. Covers a wide geographical area for customers new and old.Hopefully for 2022 more businesses will open and Ridge Hill wil resurge.
Ok this is hands down the weirdest and most annoying mall Ive ever been to. Dont get it twisted, its beautiful, and it has a Starbucks, a Lego Store and a Whole Paycheck - I mean a Whole Foods store. Before I saw it with my own eyes I refused to believe anyone but people who live in Maine or Vermont actually bought anything besides long johns from LL Bean, but lo and behold, a flagship store in the heart of the rugged wilderness outdoorsy kayaking capital of the world; Yonkers. There are fountains with water displays and for some reason there always seems to be a girl in a one of those long summer dresses wading in it barefoot like its not a filthy cesspool of bird poop and germs. You know, like the one the Go-Gos had to force themselves in and pretend they were having fun in that video they made in the 80s.I think thats all great.Theres a Burger place thats great and what Im assuming is a cuban restaurant that looks like it could challenge La Caridad in Manhattan. Amazing.Thats not all! Theres even... an APPLE STORE. Thats right. You dont have to go further than Yonkers now to make an investment on an iPhone. You can even ask Siri how to get there on your current iPhone and it will tell you its amazing answer for any topic, Heres what I found on the web for Siri, how do I get to the apple store? Amazing.Look in the window and youll witness tons of stressed out beyond belief 50-something Yoga moms trying desperately to understand how to work a computer in between running to grab dinner at whole foods and hitting Yoga class. Why do I hate it there so much? That whole place makes my skin crawl. Maybe its because you cant walk two inches without some giant speaker BLARING awful elevator music in your ears, or worse - pop music. Nobody actually SHOPS anymore if they have a bank account and know how to work a computer... whats the point? I find it really annoying to say the least.Who shops in stores anymore other than people without bank accounts or if youre not computer savvy, or if youre absolutely desperate for that one item. Its annoying.Theres always police everywhere like as if the President is there shopping, watching you like a hawk - its uncomfortable and honestly what kind of moron would try and rob that place? If I was a thief I thats the LAST place I would rob. Why are they there other than to terrorize everyone with their super macho stances? Ill pass. Then should you finally find your way upstairs its like they completely forgot to decorate. Its Bizarre, considering all the places I ever need to go (one place lol) is on the second floor but I cant remember how to get up there, and Ill be damned if Im going to let the screaming map screen tell me where it is - I find the place abrasive. All that and the people that actually live there are always walking their dogs and jogging - I always want to ask them, whats it like living in a mall? Can you hear these speakers from your apartment?
Beautiful mall! Parking is free in the garage right now due to covid... Whole foods is a wonderful store!! They are very serious about masks for all people entering the building and only a certain people allowed to shop. They have great fresh food and the employees are really nice and helpful best whole foods around!!
Amazing, top of the línea experience, well thought place, Wow! A good vibe, clean, organized, pacos with good stores, amazing restaurants and.suoer excellent service. You souls visit Mora than once, good, A++. The best shopping mall experience Ive had. Recommended for everyone looking for a good shopping experience, this place is amazing. Dont forte to visit Cheese Cake.Factory.
Unique lo, whole foods, the container store, cheese cake factory, Victoria Secret and westmed medical clinic all located here. The Greek restaurant is also excellent. Its a outdoor mall encompassing quite a few blocks. Good for if you feel like shopping and walkin...
Stores just keep closing down in the area, and I’ll talking about the good ones. It’s okay to come for food in my opinion and then there’s the Apple store of course. Other than that I don’t think this mall is worth it, BUT parking is free right now so I suggest you take advantage of it lol
Ive always loved Ridge Hill shopping center for the feel and the vibe. It gives you a little Taste of upscale but its still pretty decent. It definitely has a different feel than the Cross County Mall which in my opinion is still a very good Mall. Induce and conjunction for shopping and dining you will find that Ridge Hill Mall at the end of your shopping experience will be worth it especially around the holidays when it really shines Brothers outdoor music and overall ambience
Dine in - very clean. Had to wait both times i went to use the bathroom because they were sanitizing it. They were very thorough with the cleaning. Tables were set apart for each other. All in all, Great setting aswell. Huge selection on beers and you get to try some samples which was great.
Love this place! Very happy to know the restaurants are up and running during these times. I appreciate the parking been free 100% of the time! I’m just longing for some new store fronts. The rent in this area may need to lower to attract new renters; idk - just a suggestion. Also, Not even a major bank is there which is weird lol. Can I get a chase or TD atm somewhere?! Sheesh! I’ll keep coming back tho b/c cross county just ain’t it lol.
Visited only one store today, REI. Parking lot was free, it had been plowed so it was easy to navigate entrance and exit. The rest of the shopping center appeared to not be busy, a lot of parking spaces available in the garages. Snow had also been cleared from main streets in the shopping center so getting around was very easy.
It sucks. I was picking-up curbside from Cheesecake factory and I was told by public safety to park in the garage....that is not curbside. I wasn’t even standing for 2 minutes. Provide a spot for curbside. Don’t close streets just because. If you want support for your business you have to support the customers. Plain and simply.
This outdoor mall has a good number of stores and restaurants. Navigating around it right now is a little difficult because they closed down a few streets. Parking garages were free for the past few weeks. Today, a holiday, was extremely crowded. Check the website for whatever store you may want to visit for their current hours.
Nice selection of stores, clean, accessible. Parking primarily in parking lots within. Wish management would not charge parking fees for disabled and senior citizens, theres almost no disabled parking spaces on all streets within Ridge Hill. Can management reading this act upon this immediately? Thanks.

2021-09-04First visit to this mall and area and I was blown away with how big and nice everything was.Started with the parking garages they were huge and had plenty of spots, and they were also offering free parking which I think is really cool. They have a lot of streets with restaurants ( Yardhouse one of my favorites ) and shopping before you get into the mall itself which are really nice. I didn’t get to explore too much but just from what I saw I will definitely be returning.

2022-02-17I need to start taking photos but Ridge Hill shopping center is a wonderful place. The shops are unique and the parking convenient and inexpensive. Sunday is usually free. Went to the trampoline place for a birthday party. Cheesecake Factory is a good restaurant here too as well as Havana. Go take a walk around and see for yourself what a great place this is!

2021-09-03Its a strip mall with major brands. They closed off main street to allow for pedestrian traffic and dining. Theres a cute little green space (literally a patch of fake turf in the middle) with a small climbing structure kids can climb & run around in if they get bored of shopping. Its a nice place to shop & chill.

2022-04-06The joy of an open air mall! Excellent sound system with exquisite selection. Love it!I appreciate that parking stays free since Covid. Keep it like this, it gives more serenity to the shopping experience.

2022-04-09The one star rating is for Whole Foods. I used to enjoy shopping there, but no more. Each visit decreases my desire to shop there. I could easily spend north of $250, by my last visit barely 100. It was my hope Amazon would go out of the food business, but to my great dismay, they are getting more involved. Time to look for an alternative.

2022-04-04Beautiful outdoor shopping center! They really made this place nice! Much better than the Cross County shopping center. Much more high class than Cross County which is at best described as ghetto. The movie theater in Ridge Hill is beautiful as well. They also have an Apple Store, and The Yard House restaurant right next to the theater to stop in for a quick bite to eat. Very high end and high class place.

2022-02-23Where to begin. Ridge has a wonderful assortment of resteraunts, theres an arcade and soon theyll be introducing a Golf spot! The parking is free, the folks that work in all the stores are kind and willing to help. Theres so much variety that it really doesnt make much sense to shop anywhere else if you live in the surrounding area.

2022-05-06Ridge Hill literally has something for everyone. You can watch a movie, have a succulent meal at the Cheesecake Factory or shop at Victorias Secret, among other things. Ridge Hill is safe and for all ages. You can go there for a family outing or for a date. Ridge Hill is open for business seven days a week.
