I had my car towed here on a Sunday evening. After quoting me at a very high price, I called another shop for a second opinion. They quoted me at half the price Brian did. When I asked Brian for any copy of receipt for the parts he told me he couldnt and wouldnt provide a receipt. He proceeded to get irate over the phone. Claiming that he has never done buissnees like this and that he would put my car on the street. I told him that I would pick up my car and have it towed to another shop in 20 minutes, and for it not to be put on the street or driven at all. He drove it 3 long blocks and parked it up on a curb. All seemingly on purpose to damage my car further. Horrible experience. Nightmare scenario. Brian is a total scam artist bully.

I used this shop to have an oil leak fixed only to take the car home and have it leaking the same if not more. No work was done to my car and I made a cash payment of $750.00 The owner, Brian, who said hes not the owner would not stand by his company and placed the blame on the fact the he had someone working there that was hooked on prescription painkillers. He refused to give me my money back. Im sure this happened to many people. I need to people to come forward so we can all try and get some settlement from having this money STOLEN from us. I give this place -0 stars and they should be ashamed of themselves

Brian at Ridgewood Auto Spring has been and will be the best mechanic I have ever had. I have a 1972 truck. He knows how to fix it and always is fair and quick. I trust Ridgewood Auto Spring completely.

Very good service. I went there to get my passenger mirror fixed for my 2009 Jaguar XF. TheyReplaced my mirror for a fraction of the dealer price.

Brian Gerdts is an irresponsible person running a cut throat business. Take it from someone that, after several years of doing business with him, realized he was taking advantage at every chance he could.Stay away from Brian Gerdts and the entire staff of Ridgewood Auto Spring in Flushing New York at 6307 Fresh Pond Road.
