Please do not use this contractor. Use Cavalier Construction who I am using to correct all of they problems Ringer caused. George will be extremely responsive, act knowledgeable and friendly until you sign your contract. Once you sign, you will be project managing the entire renovation and receive attitude for any questions you try to ask. His workers are unprofessional and all work is performed cutting corners. I also found beer cans from someone on his team drinking behind my garage on multiple occasions - figures. Everything they have touched, I have had problems with. My brand new wood floor is buckling because my brand new glass sliders were not installed properly, allowing water into the house. The brand new roof they rebuilt and laid is leaking. I had to hire an electrician and a plumber to fix everything Ringers people touched. When I asked them to come back to fix their work, I got the run-around. Im embarrassed I hired them - save yourself the aggravation and money and hire a more reputable contractor.

Its not my way to write reviews. Ive never done it before. However my regret level is extremely high and in this instance and I just cant contain myself. The work George Ringer did at my house is really poor. It was rushed, sloppy and created unnecessary damage. The work has been done for some months. Its agonizing to go home at night and see crooked doors, doors that wont close because of misalignment, crooked tiles, large gaps in a new wood floor, unlevel floors, etc.. This is in no way a comprehensive list! Further, the job was abandoned near the end forcing me to hire Plumbers, Electricians and other Tradesmen on my own. Some of his work was remedied, but, the majority would require tearing out everything that I paid for already.

I recently hired Ringer Construction to finish my basement. After having a number of competing bids I settled on Ringer Construction as it was very apparent that George Ringer the owner is extremely knowledgeable and fair. Not only that his expertise came through in a number of areas where he made suggestions on we could improve the overall use of the space.Georges teams works extremely fast and if you need them to slow down for whatever reason be sure to speak up. Extra thanks to Charlie the electrician, Bill who did my plumbing work, and Andrew who lead the framing team.

Home again! Recovered From Super Storm Sandy!Thanks to George and his great guys, my home is better than new. George redefines the concept of “contractor”. He is a breeze to work with, creative and professional, honest (yes honest) and his team of workers are just as terrific. Where to begin... Ringer will promise you anything and everything, yet they do what THEY want not what the customer wants.Examples: they broke 3 thermostats, in February, and left my house cold. No apologies, no offer to replace nothing. I can only see this as intentional and vindictive. Their electrician couldnt even wire a three-way circuit right.There were many horror stories on my renovation, and THEY developed and attitude like I was being unreasonable.

It took over a month to get an appointment to go over our plans. After we finally met George said he would get back to us in a week. A month and a half later he emails me doesnt have the decency to call me telling me that he wont be able to give me a quote. Done waste your time
