A great place located right on the boardwalk with an amazing view. We ordered tacos and fries which were delicious. Unfortunately, we weren’t big fans of the Vegan Burger. Within a few minutes, we were able to order our food and pay for it. The staff was cheerful and brought the food to us.
Quesadillas or perfect to eat on the beach ⛱️⛱️ and be sure to get hot 🔥 sauce.
Counter service surf shack with pretty good fish tacos and really good fries. It’s a little pricey for what it is, but you’re paying for convenience and ambiance, not food. There’s a small inside area with stools and a bar that overlooks the boardwalk, some picnic tables outside in front, and then a sandy area behind the boardwalk with more picnic tables. Not a lot of shade though, so bring your sunscreen.
Nice place for beach restaurant, have cleansiness very good professional staff and yummy testy food here, very nice view here . Interesting in during sun set time
I have to say today was my first time trying food from you guys. And I am blown away by everything , I got the riptides burrito which was excellent. The organic ice coffee was really good as well. I look forward to trying other things from you guys in the future

The grilled shrimp tacos were really good. The liquidy guacamole (which cost $11 and is advertised as Fresh) tasted pretty fishy. We couldnt stomach it :-( . The chips were nice, but dont recommend the guac. Shrimp tacos were excellent, but $14 for two tacos ..but its on the shoreline so, youre not really paying for food satisfaction.
Amazing food with vegan friendly options. Great service too, the workers are always making sure the tables are clean and ready for the next customer immediately.

It was great to be on the beach I hope this place recovers from the tyranny perpetrated on all the restaurant owners in the year 2020 × 21.... Lose the mask mandates and the social Distancing signs....Especially the signs outside the door leading to the beach. Absolutely ridiculous... The food was great.

Boardwalk food is back!! Summer 2019 All the classic fried stuff including the best clam strips I may have ever eaten. They also have some healthier options. Staff is friendly and prices are fair for the convenience. The best people watching spot.
Wow, just had breakfast here and what a surprise. I thought it was going to be just another beach restaurant, but they had the most amazingly delicious breakfast sandwiches. And even more surprising, they had a home baked gluten-free roll that my breakfast sandwich came on that was one of the best I’ve had. Can’t wait to go back and try something else on the menu. The service is cheerful and swift, and the coffee is excellent. Highly recommend.
I dont say it lightly, but absolutely HORRIBLE food. I rarely post a review, but this was really bad. We tried the fish and shrimp tacos, the quality of the ingredients was low and the preparation was an insult. I wouldt mind paying for the overpriced meal if it was at least half decent. The message the owner conveyed is I dont give a fig about you customer. This is what lack of competition does.On a positive note, the spot is nice, so is the staff.
Went on a Saturday, during the Long Beach craft fair. Nice room to sit inside, the long line to order wasnt in fact that long because they took our order pretty quick! Food came out pretty quick as well. And delicious. Nice friendly and speedy service, even on a busy Saturday afternoon!
Thank God they finally have an actually good place to grab a bite on the boardwalk. Of course there are the food trucks, but if you want to sit and eat good food with a view, definitely stop here. The portions are huge (honestly way too big) so you can definitely split something and still have enough. They have a good breakfast menu too-good for those early birds. No booze served. Try it out!

The prices are high, but the staff are fast to get your order. The tacos are very good but if you dont like a lot of sauce mention it to them when you make your order. The best thing about this place in the summer is that they list the water temperature on their daily weather report. Good for a quick bite if you are to hungry before making your way back to your car.
The food was good, not anything wowing me. The fries are cut pretty cool. But the prices oh man not worth it at all. I could have taken myself and two people out to dinner for what I paid for four drinks and four apps. $65 bucks !!!!!

Great views, however for 15 dollars the crispy chicken sandwich was not worth it. Tomatoes seemed kind of old and the chicken was definitely once frozen.. Would possibly return, but try something else.
Love this place. Hypercasual and relaxed. Great for breakfast or lunch on the weekend. Prices are reasonable and its very convenient. The only thing is that the lobster rolls are dry and too spicy. At $22 bucks each, its not worth it.

Ok so this isnt a 5-Star restaurant quite like we know it. It is a fast food restaurant on the beach. But there isnt anything typical about it. The food they serve is GREAT, FRESH, FAST and on point. the breakfast egg sandwhich is to die for. Two can share one sandwhich for breakfast and have some left over for lunch. The muffins are great and the drinks (non-alcoholic) are very refreshing. It is one of the best beach restaurants I have gone to. And look forward to going back to.
Rip Tides is a classic. I eat there almost every time I go to the beach. Great food! Mozzarella sticks are to die for. Chicken fingers are also good.

Food was low grade but the worst part was their employees NOT following safety guidelines by not wearing masks or barely covering their mouths. signs all over about customers needing to wear a mask, barely enforced. when the teenage kid brought us our food he wasnt even wearing a mask! that was my one attempt at trying to eat out, will never come back here ever again, and wont be eating out for a long long time due to this gross incompetence and management.

RIPTIDES is amazing! At first glance you may think that there is no way a beach cafe has anything good and that they are capitalizing on the foot traffic. This is not the case at all. I started eating there with my kids every morning. The breakfast burrito is simply amazing. Its cash only which is ok, but there is an ATM so no need worry ;) they clearly take pride in what they have created and Im SURE at some point you will see them featured on one of those food network shows that find unknown gems. Great job RIPTIDES team!
Zero integrity from the staff. They process your order in a inefficient and lack luster manner. They take zero accountability for thier numerous mistakes. In addition when you ask for a specific item on the menu they blatantly lie to your face. Never going back !

The fries were very good and I liked the set up but they didnt have Pina Colada. I think theyd sell a lot of those if they had it, even if it was a virgin drink.
The food and my ginger tea was fabulous, great set up too. I was there on a stormy afternoon so needed a place like RIPTIDES to watch the sea, eat and keep warm. Thanks a lot!
Crispy chicken so good, fries amazing, tuna taco so big and good. Even toddler had fun there listing to reggae and watching people go by.
The cashier is nice but forgetful so make sure you get what you want .the ower is helpful but I returned the burger and it came out abused just cause they got my order wrong all I wanted is what I paid for like a cheese burger not a make over .sorry never again good luck !

2022-06-26I seriously cannot think of a nicer place to have coffee on a weekend morning. This brings back memories of the old boardwalk in L.B. and in the best possible way. The staff behind the counter was friendly and to reply to another reviewer her skin color is irrelevant.

2020-08-30Practically ate here for breakfast lunch and dinner for my entire 4 day stay at the Allegria hotel. The food is really good and the seafood is fresh. Their portion sizes are great considering theyre located right on the boardwalk. The only downside is that theyre cash only but they have two ATMs inside.

2020-08-13I was looking forward to eating here since I was spending the day at the beach. Unfortunately, I was a little disappointed. The vibe was nice. The music was cool. I had the Nemo Tacos with Guacamole. All the fixins on the tacos were great. The fish was cooked perfectly crisp but it was bland. Neither the fish or the batter on the fish had any seasoning. My friend had the chicken tacos and had the same complaint, no flavor. At $12.50 for 2 large tacos with such a delicious looking presentation, I was expecting a taste to match.

2021-09-12This was the perfect spot, great views of the water and boardwalk, really good food, and nice picnic table seating right on the boardwalk walk. The staff was quick for as busy as they were in preparing and delivering the food. Definitely get their French fries, really good crisp with a nice potato flavor. It’s a different cut than most other places. The menu has lots of options to appeal to most. We enjoyed our meal very much.

2021-08-06The white girl at the cashier didn’t take correct orders. I Ordered a chicken quesadilla with no beans. And got a quesadilla with cheese and beans only inside.
