Have to say, really loved this place. Had the classic Eggs Benedict and drinks. The food was delicious and the drinks were just right. I love a bit of fizz with my brunch. Service was great did not feel rushed. Walked right in and got a table. Place was lively and would definitely recommend trying this place out. Next time I am in the area would definitely take family and friends to eat there.
Was very excited to eat here. However- food was cold - all came out very quick and cold🤔. Potatoes were not cooked and crunchy. Tomatoes were iced cold like just came out of refrigerator. Husband ordered crispy fries and got soggy. Was so loud we couldn’t talk with each other. Unfortunately this place is not a returnable place for us
Food was great and more than enough for a meal. Had an egg white omelet with mozzarella cheese, sautéed mushrooms, and sausage with home fries. Service was fantastic, our server Kayla P. was friendly, courteous, and very attentive. Nice atmosphere, very clean. No doubt I will be going back there again. Worth every penny!
Underwhelmed. Friendly service and tasty coffee. My husband got an omelet and corned beef hash. I got traditional eggs Benedict and asked to add avocado to it; for the coffee I got the black and white latte. Eggs cooked perfectly and the hollandaise sauce looked delicious, however the hollandaise sauce was very bland. No flavor, undetectable acid. They gave me avocado mash, which I wasnt expecting—I was hoping for sliced avocado. Normally, I would be ok with mash so when I saw it I didnt say anything, but this mash tasted store bought and tasted like it had preservatives in it. I scraped it off. Overall, I would not go back. Again very friendly service, but I just didnt dig the food. My husband enjoyed his corned beef hash though.
Ive known that Rise & Grind was in town, yet havent gone there due to so many excellent options being on Main St. Man was I missing out. I didnt expect the level of decoration and attention to detail in the food. This may have to become my new Sunday spot. Killer potatoes and omelette. I cant think of a single thing that could have been better. Server was also a complete sweetheart. What a great place!
Food was good, got the RS cheesesteak omelet which the peppers were diced up unsteady of just being sliced. My fiance got an omelet with sprinch and cheese but had a lot after spinach. The service was good and it looks beautiful inside. Definitely going to come back and try another burger or breakfast meal.
My coworker and I ordered breakfast through door dash this morning. The driver was wonderful and apologized for the late arrival although it wasn’t his fault. He waited for 35 minutes while they prepared an egg breakfast and pancakes. My coworker called the store to ask if they had started the order and was told “they got really busy after our order was placed.” I worked in a restaurant for years so why this order was not prioritized as a door dash order/to go order was confusing to me.I asked for blueberry pancakes (it says you can add them but there was no option on the app) and I received a short stack with blueberries on the side and not in the pancakes. Why they wouldn’t put them in the pancakes is beyond me. Who would want a side of 8 blueberries with their pancakes? No syrup was included which is fine because I don’t always use syrup with pancakes but what if I had wanted it? Our food was cold and seemed like they rushed the order because they got a little busy. My coworker’s bacon was also very undercooked. The food, although cold, was decent but I don’t ever recommend ordering to go from them. Maybe going there is a different experience altogether but we won’t be ordering from here again.
Had been wanting to come to this spot for a long time. Finally decided to take my family, for my mothers birthday breakfast. Had a hiccup with my reservation (my fault) but they did an amazing job at accommodating us. Love the ambience and decoration. They have a beautifully decorated spot at the entrance that is quite popular for picture taking. Food presentation was on point, but unfortunately did not enjoy. Their red potatoes were overwhelmingly covered in rosemary.... completely covered. All you could taste was rosemary, in every bite. I asked if they could give me another order without rosemary but was told that the red potatoes were already pre-made that way and they couldnt give them to me without the rosemary. At that point, I totally lost interest in my breakfast. Ate as much eggs as I could, eating around the rosemary. I did not enjoy my breakfast. Everyone else tried to make the best of it. Service was great, but unfortunately for me, the food wasnt. We surely will not be returning! The food did not sit well for all of us.... we made it home just in time! Totally bummed because I wanted to love this place.
Nice modern appearance, staff shows it’s always looking to approve, fair prices. Not just a food place though, the cafe is great for simple visits like a coffee chat on a day off.The house blend itself is enough reason to stop by regularly. This place is a good choice.
An amazing atmosphere, I love what they did with the makeover from the previous establishment.Service was great - fast and friendly.Establishment was clean and followed all covid-19 standards.Food - AMAZING, I ordered the Cookies & Creme French toast, with the CYO(create your own omelet) and honestly the only reason I gave this review 4 stars is because I couldnt give it 4.5, and the only reason this review even gets that undeserving rating is because my bacon in my omelet was too cripsy. That is all.. honestly.Side bar: they have these cute little animations along the wall that make your stay a little more interesting.
So many things I love about this place! The trendy decor, the extensive menu and everything we had was absolutely delicious (coffees and breakfast), it wasnt crowded, the staff was just the right amount of attentive, and the portions matched the prices. This instantly became my new favorite breakfast spot, cannot wait to go back!
I love this place .. I wanted to give 5 stars, however, the fact that there is only one woman always working by herself waiting tables ….. then the kitchen staff are running out and helping serve tables…..My question is .. why are there no other Servers ?????Are people still home collecting their Unemployment Checks….. or are they not paying their staff enough ??Again, great food… great coffee!!!!!….. just need to address their staffing issues🤨
Warm and friendly service from our waitress. She checked on us at the right times and the right number of times. Coffee is served in large mugs but the taste is just so-so. I ordered corned beef hash, and the portion was pretty small. Lots of potatoes, though. The toast was good and they gave me a good amount of butter for my toast.
This place is beautiful and immaculate and the staff is very friendly. I was afraid it would be too much like a diner and similar to the past restaurant, but it’s not AT ALL. The space was nicely renovated. The one side of the store is a traditional walk-in coffee shop where you could grab quick and go, the other side and outdoor area is a sit down space where you can order food etc. Plenty of easy parking unlike like the other coffee shops in town. I was growing tired of having to park blocks away from the other places in town just to grab a quick coffee although they’re all good spots.
What a great breakfast place. Great environment, clean and bright, and a selection of delicious fun food and specialty drinks. We had great food and great service, and the short wait went fast. I highly recommend this place, and my boys are nodding their agreement as they are eating their chocolate chip pancakes.
We went here a few months back and the food was good, but the service was insanely slow.We decided to give it a second shot and were pleasantly surprised. They have a bunch of new waitresses who kick butt. We had Arielle, who was amazing. She did a great job.Food and coffee was top notch. Prices were fair. And service was much better.
I have to start by saying that the ambiance is very welcoming and the staff is really friendly. The menu has a great variety of options. I ordered the soup of the day which was a 3 cheese, potato and ham soup and the Pan Seared Salmon Salad from their lunch menu which was really delicious and it was reasonably priced. The service was also exceptional which is a huge plus.Great ambiance, great food and great service. This is definitely my new favorite brunch spot.
I wasn’t impressed with any of the food at my table, neither was anyone Who joined me. One person ordered the chicken and waffles, and the chicken was completely raw. I’m not exaggerating in the slightest. When we called the nearest waiter over, all we did was point and he immediately saw the raw (pink) chicken more then half way through. A manager never came over, but the server did let us know they were bringing out a new dish in the house. When it came back out it was drenched in sauce that was over powered by what was likely cayenne pepper. I would think the sauce would have been overwhelming but all you could taste was cayenne, to the point it was inedible. (That’s 3 people agreeing). We sent it back and that member of our party ate nothing. Again, no manager came to the table. We didn’t enjoy any of the food we had.I really wanted to give 1 star, but chose to give it 2 for a few reasons...1..it was cute and trendy, the decor was unique and I enjoyed that. Secondly, I thought the chicken and waffles had great potential, had it had just a touch of the cayenne it might have been rather good. They took the chicken and waffles off the bill, but again we didn’t eat any of it besides the 3 small bites...they didn’t even buy the persons orange juice who had a terrible experience and almost got salmonella had they not looked first. Not to mention...we didn’t want to complain since we already complained about the raw chicken but they clearly don’t wear anything to cover their hair in the kitchen as there was also a hair in another one of the meals as well.I really wanted to like this place but I’m sad to say that we won’t be giving it another try. Maybe it was an off day but management didn’t think this issue was important enough to stop by and say hello or apologize, which is a disappointment and for that reason, we will deal with the parking a little further west and dine in the town instead.
Ive been here twice- Once when first opened and a second time a few months after. Overall, both times were fantastic. Theyve done a killer job renovating the location to bring some life over to that part of town. The menu consists of your typical breakfast items which is perfect. Breakfast should be quick and simple, not an expensive late night experience so spot on with pricing. Coffee bar is a bonus as you can grab a coffee while waiting for a table. Great place to grab a gimmick free breakfast.
Might have been the longest I have ever waited to get an order of pancakes and eggs in my life. And then the wrong order came when we finally got it. Almost an hour from ordering to getting our food and there was only 2 of us. Country kitchen blew this place away.Food was subpar. Id give it a D. Our waitress was pleasant but pretty absent for most of our visit.I will give this place a second chance to redeem itself but its first impression is pretty awful.
This is my second time at the restaurant and I absolutely love it! The decor, ambience, modern up date menus, the creativity into the menu selections is just very well thought out and all plays together so well in creating an experience. I had the chicken tenders and fries today and it couldn’t have been fresher. I love their social media video edits as well it always makes me want to stop in.Thank you so much for fresh amazing meal selections amazing service and creating an experience in Patchogue.
Truly excellent. Located in a humble village in Long Island, Rise & Grind has immaculate premises, highly responsive and friendly service from the waiters. And thats not even mentioning the scrumptious food yet.The new lunch menu was a welcome addition to the restaurants wide suggestion. My personal favorite off of the menu was the smokehouse burger -- a half pound of thick, juicy slab of pulled pork, smoked on a gas grill, lightly glazed with Kansas City-style barbecue sauce, covered with sharp cheddar cheese, onions, tomato and nestled between two sesame seed buns. And if youre eating out on town with friends, the bottomless mimosas are highly recommended, as others can attest to.If you ever have to visit Long Island, consider this restaurant as a developing hidden gem.
Waited an hour to be seated after being told it was just a 15 minute wait. Horrible communication between staff and when we got seated, the host was confused as to why no one had seated us already. Which just made us even more frustrated but since we had waited so long we decided to stay. The food wasn’t great, and my order of fries had a completely frozen fry mixed with the cooked fries. Overall, I would not be returning and I seriously think you guys need to figure out the front of the house situation because that speaks volumes about your business.
Rise & Grind is such a family and community oriented place. You have the perfect balance of a coffee bar, to keep up with the fast pace New Yorker, and kitchen, to enjoy a fantastic breakfast, lunch, or brunch. The food is absolutely delicious and completely made from original recipes (the island French toast and Mediterranean skillet are mouth watering). The newly renovated restaurant has such modern farmhouse vibes that bring together comfort and style. The staff is super friendly, accommodating, and love what they do!Definitely stop by if you want some delicious coffee, amazing food, good vibes, and great people!!
Delicious food. Incredible Staff and Incredible service. I will be back for sure. I went here for brunch and had the steak platter, absolutely amazing. Our group did bottomless drinks, the raspberry mimosas were top tier! Definitely stop here if youre ever in Patchogue.
I go there very frequently and usually just have their coffee, which is out of this world! And when I do find myself hungry there, the food is always prepared perfectly and always brings me back! Their pulled pork breakfast is phenomenal and the lattes are equally as delightful, iced or hot! The service is also the best in Patchogue!!!!
We used Door dash to place an order for breakfast, Im willing to allow some concessions with takeout food obviously its not going to be perfect, I had the chicken and waffles, both were very dry even with maple syrup, if there was bacon and pecan in the waffle I certainly couldnt find it. Might I suggest not slicing the chicken tenders in the future especially for takeout orders, it will help the chicken retain its moisture. My daughter ordered 1 of the breakfast skillets, the eggs and toast were MIA, the pulled pork was bland and the potatoes were undercooked. Her iced latte was very good though. Will we give this place another try? Not so sure.
Good vibes and even better food & mimosas! Initially disappointed to see home fries over hash browns, but they were the best home fries EVER!! Staff were friendly, attentive, and everything came out quickly. Would like to have option for menus via QR code with COVID and flu season here. Cant wait to return for more!!
I wanted to try a new breakfast spot in Patchogue, I came across Rise & Grind because of there reviews. The food was excellent, great portion sizes and reasonable prices. The staff are very attentive and are interested in getting to know you and making you feel at home. I will definitely be going back.
First of all, the place is gorgeous. Second of all, the staff are some of the friendliest I’ve ever met. And thirdly, the food. Let me tell you about food 🥪🥗🍲 The la fiesta chicken wings were a fiesta 🎉🎉in my mouth. And the three cheese, potato and ham soup was to die for 😍😍😍☠️☠️☠️. 10 out of 10 would definitely recommend!!👍🏾👍🏾
Oh my word I’m speechless.... I mean not quite. Let’s break it down pros and cons.So let’s start with the bad news and work our way to the good. The place is adorable.... rise and grind doorway is literally the place I want to wake up every morning and I can’t so, first con. Secondly, the coffee mantras are all a mood Monday through Friday and I’ll be back for the drinks on every possible weekend I can.And then my final complaint I was so consumed with the art work all over the walls I almost forgot I was there to eat and drink. Literally adorable. The coffee is absolutely wonderful I mean a rainbow cookie latte that you can actually taste the hint of almond and raspberry in one glorious caffeinated sip!!! And that’s simply because the drink menu hasn’t quite opened up just yet but probably still a regular staple of mine!!!Onto to the indecision of ordering because everything looks and sounds amazing and makes it impossible to choose just one thing. So, we didn’t, we kinda of all shared different things and enjoyed a little bit of it all.The corned beef hash was not what we were expecting. It wasn’t ground meat like most diners or your typical breakfast joint, it has nice savory cuts of beef full of flavor. We shared the country waffles which I’ll be honest sounded like a “safer, play it simple” pick but the “safe” about it, is it’s safe to say I’ll be ordering this again and again and again. Packed with flavor so before you insult this carefully curated creation, put the syrup down!We forced more room, and possibly created a second stomach to further indulge in the Georgia peach pancakes and as someone that’s been making pancakes since the age of 5, I’m a pretty hard sell, but for the love of god take my money! If the meal wasn’t sweet enough, our serve we Christina certainly was....Honestly, read between the cons and like maybe don’t go, don’t jam pack this place and make it impossible to get a table.
We try not to leave reviews but this place is awesome ! We have never been out to patchogue before as we live in Huntington but we heard about this place from friends and figured we would try it . Well needless to say we loved it ! I had the Mediterranean skillet with a short stack and my wife had the island French toast both were great . In fact The French toast was the best we ever had !!! The decor is modern farmhouse and the owner Phillip was so nice and funny . The only knock was it took awhile to get our specialty drinks but it was super busy so we let it slide . We will definitely try and get out to patchogue more often as they have really built up the town and we are looking forward to trying some of the other places .
Went in 3 weeks ago, after sitting at the table for nearly 20 minutes the server finally came over to take our order. I also wanted a chocolate croissant and was told Id have to get up from my table and go over to the counter and get it and pay for it there. Instead of the server getting it and bringing it back to the table with the rest of my order.I used to frequent this establishment before it became Rise & Grind. When it was the country kitchen it was very well organized my food was always hot and delicious, I never had to wait 20 minutes for my order to be taken, and never was I told I would have to get up from my table and go to a counter to get a part of my order for myself. I think you guys are missing the point of table service. This had nothing to do with a pandemic, or new store opening.
Rise & Grind is one of the best breakfast places Ive ever ate at. I wish I took a picture of the food before I started eating but once I started I didnt want to stop. My girlfriend had the eggs benedict and she absolutely loved it. I had the eggs, sausages, bacon and home fries. Everything was cooked to perfection. The staff was super friendly and most importantly the bathroom was in immucalate condition.
Very upset with service, waited 1 hour to be seated and then 1 more hour to receive our food. Also had to order my coffee twice so it not being correct. The food was nothing special. Another server had to go to our table to make sure we where ok since our only went about 3 times in the 2 hours we where there.
Im so happy to have discovered this cute new coffee shop on Main Street! The vibes are ultra-cozy and the workers were all really friendly and outgoing, eager to answer questions and make some small talk with me about my day and my life, which is always appreciated, seeing as I went on my own. That really made my day. The iced honey comb latte was delicious and I got to enjoy the atmosphere and decor while I sat in the cafe section to do some work on my iPad for a couple hours. Excited to try their food and will definitely be returning!
If you were a fan of country kitchen, don’t come here. You will be greatly let down. The food is of slightly better quality, but made poorly which entirely defeats the purpose. Way over priced. They also make excuses for everything rather than try and fix your screwed up order.
New arrival to the many excellent restaurants in Patchogue. Bright clean and a superb staff super attentive and friendly.my wife had the Mediterranean skillet spinach tomatoes mushrooms feta eggs over potatoes.i had excellent cornbeef hash perfectly done not greasy with eggs and those excellent potatoes.also had a short stack of 2 huge pancakes excellent. Many variations on menu items from simple to over the top. Definitely will stop in again.coffee is a home run too great looking coffee bar also, will exploer that further next visit
Worse pancakes I have had in Patchogue. I just had the Georgia Peach pancakes . These were the driest and cakey pancakes I ever had. I could only eat one with lots of butter and coffee to wash it down .The best are Damians at Bagel Deli then Buttermilk’s.I am sorry I wasted my time and money coming here.Maybe I will try the eggs next. There was no brown sugar in the pancakes as advertised and it was canned peaches with a few sprinkled walnuts for $11.94 with 2 tiny pieces of bacon. Definitely not worth the price and service was so so. I hope the get better!
Horrible. Waited over an hour for food. 30 mins for an ICED COFFEE. No bacon, no mac and cheese. Ordered silver dollars and got big pancakes. Theres no excuse for being extremely understaffed on the saturday before christmas. They were very apologetic saying last saturday was dead...thats not how to run a business and i miss country kitchen
Loved it there! Great place to get some brunch while in Long Island. Seating was spacious, prices were reasonable, staff was extremely friendly, and - most importantly - the food was delicious (even the vegetarian options which made me really happy!!) Our favorites were the skillets and the very berry mimosas
If your a person who cooks a lot of food at home, the food here will be below avg.Everyone wants to make money. Serve good food and water you’ll have more buisness and you’ll keep your local customers like at TOASTWaitress and the people that worked their were very friendly m

2022-04-02Food was great! Service was phenomenal! Everyone was so friendly and the food came out fast. My girlfriend got and omelette and I got the corned beef hash. 10/10 would go again. If youre also looking for good atmosphere while eating breakfast, this is the place!

2022-03-27Great food that was delicious, large portions and friendly attentive staff. Highly recommend as a new breakfast/lunch spot!---When I 1st walked in there was a 20 minute wait, but it went by quickly and I got a table for 2 probably about 10 minutes later.I went with my dad and we were seated quickly, surrounded by comical drawings of stick figures all around. The menu had a great variety of egg dishes, pancakes, French toast, and a lunch menu, but we opted for custom hangry egg platters. I also got a peanut butter truffle latte with almond milk that was delicious and different.Everything was freshly made, the eggs and pancakes were fluffy, and I barely needed to add salt and pepper since seasoning was very good. Also asked for a side of corn beef hash (since it wasnt listed as a side) and was pleasantly surprised when they said yes and added it to my plate :) definitely coming back and thank you Erica for being a lovely server! Also hello to Philip the owner, great job all around :)

2022-06-03Awesome food: Check. Cookies and Cream French toast is amazing, just the right amount of sweet, not cloying. Great texture and consistently epic. The frapp lattes are amazing.Awesome service: First time I ever ordered pick up, someone called me to make sure we timed it right with the drinks to ensure I had the best quality experience. Another time, my order took a bit because they were short staffed - not their fault, food was worth the wait, and I got comped for one of my drinks plus a lot of great banter and apologies. Next time I went, they went above and beyond by knocking 20% off my total which they REALLY didn’t need to do. Already calling me by name when I come in, which is a small touch that’s appreciated.Awesome decor: From the cool entrance to the adorable little stick figures.Definitely a new favorite in terms of breakfast / coffee places! Quit reading this review and go there already!

2021-08-08This place is amazing! We came here for brunch and the food and service were excellent. We ordered the Fruity Pebble French toast, Eggs Benedict, and Mediterranean Skillet. All of the food was delicious and cooked to perfection but our favorite was definitely the Fruity Pebble French toast! The staff was so kind and attentive- the owners Charlie and Phillip made us feel so welcome. This is our new favorite breakfast spot on Long Island!

2021-10-11We popped through on our way off the Island. We were looking for coffee and a bite to eat, something a little more healthy and fulfilling than the drive-thru coffee stop. There were many options to choose from. I wouldve gone sweet with some of that incredible looking French Toast they offer, but I kept it lighter with the Eggs & Avocado. My partner got the Classic Eggs. We also got hot coffee, which was good and just what we needed. The inspiring little doodles on the cup made us smile. We sat outside, as it was a little busy inside. I couldnt believe how fast it was ready! Everything was presented well and tasty too: avocado was fresh and well-seasoned; eggs were cooked perfectly and the home fries were delicious. I was worried about the candied tomatoes and arugula, but everything was fresh with a good flavor. The prices were on the higher end of average, but the portion sizes more than made up for that. I couldnt finish it all.The staff was super friendly and accommodating. When we needed something, they were there in a second.Very impressed overall.(Oh and staff were properly masked up!)

2021-08-04Cute decor! The food is decent but there is nothing on the menu that has blown me away. We came here a few times and doordash as well. Hubbys favorite thing is the burrito and I love their cappuccino. They also have flavored hollandaise sauce and egg Benedict creations which is different. Service is friendly.
