They don’t have anything in the store. All of the shelves are completely empty. When asked if they were closing, as that seems the only logical explanation for no inventory. I was told there is a lot of theft? I’m not sure why you wouldn’t hire a security guard if that is the case? Regardless not sure why they are even opened considering more than half of there shelves are empty, or with only a couple of products.
I had to go to Rite-Aid on 2 separate occasions to receive my 2 doses of the Covid 19 virus shot. Both times I got the shots approximately 30mins after my scheduled appointment. Not to bad.I was delighted to finally get my vaccination. Ive had 18 Covid 19 tests during the course of 2020 & thank God all of them were negative. And with this final innoculation, I feel like the weight of the world has been lifted off of my shoulders.Thankyou Jesus-Mohammad-Budda & the rest of the entities that protect us all.Amen

What is happening in the world when the Rite Aid is getting robbed left and right of valuable and expensive goods and THERE ARE NO CONSEQUENCES. You will show up to buy something you need and it will never be there. I have never witnessed such behavior in my life. Whose hands are tied? The police? Security? What is Rite Aid doing wrong that thieves constantly and consistently steal goods from this store and no one lifts a finger?
Now I see why this place has poor reviews. I just called the pharmacy because Im pregnant and have high blood pressure and was SHORTED on my meds and when I called about the situation the pharmacists was so cold like I was bothering her when SHE WAS WRONG. Im calling corporate this UNACCEPTABLE, dont play with peoples health and then have an attitude about it!!
This Rite Aid branch needs total staff customer service re education.. First, they do not have the weekly ad flier, the cashier does not even know the weekly sale/ promo with only one cashier open with long lines as the staff and store manager does not know where to look for the weekly ad flier .. on top of it all- they make it to look as if it’s the customer’s fault that they basically do not know what their store is offering on their weekly ad, I heard a rude side comment from the store manager as I put back the stuff that I want to buy but decided not to because they denied what was advertised on their weekly ad.Like this product which clearly displayed BOGO, cashier said it’s not , only the other brand -Nature’s Bounty is BOGO. So , why is it still advertised as such??
A somewhat large, freestanding Rite Aid, built maybe 15 years ago, and still looking nice and neat. Roomy aisles, stocked merchandise and a pharmacy that seems as efficient as other chain store pharmacies are decent features. at peak times they need more cashiers, because the line might have 10 people waiting for 2 checkouts.
If I could give it 0 stars I would. Complete lack of customer service - often they don’t even bother picking up the phone if you’re calling the pharmacy. Lines are ridiculously long because the cashiers are busy chatting with each other. They never let you know when your prescription is ready. And of course they have a nasty attitude to boot. Avoid.
This rite aid has the worst customer service . The staff is disrespectful they don’t like to answer questions seems like they are unpaid including the manager .Today after leaving the urgent care with my son (breathing problems ) I asked the doctor to send the prescription to the pharmacy not knowing it was close by 6pm . I asked the 4 guys in the counter the pharmacy schedule they totally ignored me and after me shouting for the 2nd time they answered very annoyed with my question.It’s not the 1st time I’ve had issues with their lack of customer service ... they also require cash for gift cards which is NOT a rite aid corporate policy .
This stores doesnt even deserve any stars to rate them . This store is horrible every time I come here for my prescription my experience is worse and worse. I go in needing my birth control and I end up leaving feeling like I need a damn anxiety pill instead. The entire staff is incompetent starting with the cashier ending with the pharmacist. The last time I went there they told me my insurance wasnt working which was last month 7/1/2017 and my insurance clearly was . I had to pay out of pocket for my prescription which I never have to do because I know what my insurance covers and I was active . Then on top of me being frustrated because they relayed the wrong message the tall white technician made me feel like I should take my business elsewhere Im the 6th person in line and he feels like listening to his rap music and sitting down was more important then assisting the customers . He looked at the line and completely ignore us then when the pharmacist asked him to help with the line he had an attitude about it . Now this month again the same ppl the Chinese pharmacist and Im sorry to throw out their ethnicity but they didnt have on any name tags and when I asked them for their names they refused to give me their names . When I went in there yesterday to pick up my prescription which was a new one they told me I had no refills so I had to go directly into the store and show them my pamphlet and it had 3 refills remaining. The new pharmacist which I never saw before had to fix my prescription because someone messed up my prescription or relayed the wrong message either way Im so pissed and I dont wish to shop here anymore Ill just take my business to Walgreens who happens to be out of my way but I dont mind because they know how treat their customers!!!!
The last 3 times I’ve come here it’s gotten worse with the front line. WHY ON EARTH does the line go to the middle of the store?! It’s completely unacceptable. When you come here make sure you have time to waste because they will waste your time with poor customer service and poor planning with their scheduled staff. This store manager needs another job.Not going to lie. It improved for 1 year but it’s been down hill since then.But the pharmacy........THE WORST. They dont call when they should for a rx pick up OR call 5 times in 2 days to remind you to pick up, or dont fill your rx on time even after they called you a ton of times. The best is when they change your rx without asking you first. They called me once 4 times in two days to confirm I was picking up my rx. I showed up and it wasn’t ready and the cashier didn’t know what they were doing. One customer skipped the line and nothing was said to him either. Poor communication and they dont know how to handle high volume. Better training needed. Its ridiculous.
I agree with the bad reviews about the pharmacy and customer service in general. I made the mistake of transferring my prescription here from the Rite Aid in Hartsdale and they messed up the quantity of my prescription and also the number of refills left. Now Im gonna have to go back to the Hartsdale location where the pharmacists are more helpful and professional. I also went to buy dental floss and seeing that it was buy 1 get the 2nd half off with a card, I took 2 and brought it to the cashier. Lo and behold, when the cashier rang it up, it didnt show the discount. So I asked him if the 2nd floss was supposed to be 50% off and he said No. I ended up just purchasing one and I told him that all the Oral B floss had signs saying Buy 1 Get the 2nd half off. He said dismissively, Ill check, have a good night. In a decent store with proper customer service, the right thing to do would have been to check the display if the customer is right before ringing up the purchase.
Horrible customer service and they need to be shut down. They even hung up on me over the phone... Great job Rite Aid!! I’m writing the review about the Rite Aid on 231 and Broadway in the Bronx. Don’t know why two Rite Aid’s have the same address on google... That’s why CVS is taking over...
The Owners response below is pathetic and insulting to customers. The problem has been made aware to him/her but instead of solving it, she/he wants customers to contact Rite Aid through Twitter, Facebook, or telephone to discuss the matter further. What is there to discuss further? Solve the problem by hiring more personnel, period!
Horrible pharmacy. I had dropped off my medication which I was told would be done in 2hr so to my surprise when I come back 6hrs later I was told I had dropped it off a day too early but would be put in first thing in the morning and will be ready by noon. I go in at 530pm and once again my medication is not ready. I was told to have a seat and wait while it gets put in. I never got a call to tell me I would have to wait an extra day. I was never called and told that it would not be ready at noon even though I was told the medication was in stock. NEVER AGAIN Walgreens forever, they call if prescriptions have issues.

I was too tired to go to petco so stopped in this store to buycatfood..the store clerk was very nice offered to assist me by leading meto the aisle with pet food..assisted me back to his register rang up my purchase and wished me a great day..boy i was impressed.

2021-12-14I’m so grateful for Dr. Patel. I called Sunday to see if they could squeeze me in for a walk-in booster shot. Not only were they able to do so, but when I arrived and asked about a flu shot he made that happen too. The woman at the pharmacy counter was also very kind and efficient. I probably only waited about 30 minutes, not bad at all since I was a walk-in and there were other appointments before me. He was friendly, professional and quick. I really recommend this location for their pharmacy and for getting vaccines and other shots.

2018-11-01The line at the pharmacy is unbelievably slow. Give yourself an hour to pick up your meds. Hope its not life or death, because youre going to have to wait a while.Edit: Im back, and thats my fault. I need a new pharmacy. This place is hot garbage on subway tracks. They never have enough people working at the busiest hours, and wait can be literally hours.

2022-03-15Nice store. I was greeted once I came in and met one of the manager. Yari was super nice and friendly!!
