Ms.Beverly the hygienist and the dentist Dr.Glick was amazing! Beverly showed true compassion and care for me at my visit and even with me being scared of the dentist she really put me at ease. She was thorough with my dental cleaning and did a really good job. I will definitely be returning to this dentist office.
My son and I had our first visit today at this dentist for a cleaning and Beverly was super sweet and accommodating to my son. He’s 4 so he was a bit nervous and curious but he warmed up quickly and did great thanks to Beverly’s hospitality. Safe to say it was a successful visit with my son :D and she gave him a prize which made him super happy in the end. Thank you!
I recently went for a cleaning and X-rays. Ivan and Diana did a great job. Dr. Glick is amazing and the level of service is the reason why I chose this dentist office. They also have a great manager Stephanie very helpful and attentive to your needs.
Excellent service. Dr Glick was very informative instructing Naja, a student considering dental school. Every step of the process she views over the doctors shoulder. Dr. Glick is really nice. He explained everything throughly during my surgery. I do feel like sometimes when I come they rush through patients and keep you waiting a bit longer than is ideal. Lastly, make sure you go over your bill in detail. They almost overcharged me 1200 dollars. Call your insurance and double check everything.In response to below: That is not what occured. The front desk literally tried to charge me for multiple procedures that my insurance covered and if I did not point it out, I would have come out of pocket unnecessarily. I appreciate the response, but want to be truthful and have others learn from my experience.
Very nice dental office. Staff is courteous and welcoming. Dr. Glick and Beverly the hygienist are very kind and made me feel comfortable. Everything was explained to me before it was done.
Dr. Glick is an amazing Dentist. Explained everything step by step on what he was going to do. He made me feel very comfortable which is very hard for me because I am very afraid of dental work due to pain. But he definitely does his job very well.
Dr. Glick is the best dentist in town. I’m not a fan of dentists in general, which means I often put off going until my problems require serious oral surgery. He always handles whatever mess I show up with in such a way that I forget why I’m so scared of dentists to begin with. Highly recommend!

I highly recommend Dr, Glick.He explained the procedure clearly and ensured that I was comfortable throughout the process. He and his assistant worked together efficiently and performed the procedure quickly. I really liked how he showed me what he was doing with a mirror and the before and after X-rays.
I had an implant/ bone graft placed by Dr Glick who was very personable & gentle. He explained everything in detail and was patient with all my questions. The staff is very friendly.but then I had multiple issues from infection and rejection of implant. Both can be complications to the implant procedure. Then I had gum line recede. I needed bone grafting again and was told I have to wait six months in order to repair gum or the missing tooth. I end up going elsewhere for a different resolution with a periodontist.
My visit is always phenomenal. Ladies at front desk are very welcoming. Hygienist Beverly does such thorough cleaning, by far best hygienist! You have my vote 👍🏼
One of my coworkers referred me to this location. I must say they didn’t disappoint.The Hygienist (can’t remember her name) is the best makes you feel welcome and answers all your questions. The dentist explains everything and gives you recommendations or options.I will be back :-D

Dr. Glick and his assistant Shirley are the absolute best! Came in to get my implant work started (scared to death) and they were very patient, kind and reassuring that everything would be ok. Didn’t feel a thing!! I’ve only been to the new office twice and I already love it here!!! Thank you 😊

I have dentist anxiety so thats probably why things got to this level of bad (i.e. cracked tooth, infection, took a year to make an appt). However, for once, I didnt feel like a burden at all! Dr Glick and his team explained the situation, solution, and answered my questions. Im not out of the woods yet but finally a practice that will help me get through it. Thank you!

Great practice! Dr Moshe is very knowledgeable and offers his services at unbeatable prices. He truly knows what he is doing and patiently explains every step of a procedure to you despite his extremely busy schedule (you dont feel rushed regardless). I felt mostly at ease and expressed my concerns when necessary which were addressed. The staff are professional and friendly. It is safe to say that I have found my NY dentist.

My experience at Riverdale Family dental from the front desk and beyond was great! The ladies at the front desk are friendly, helpful and always strive to accommodate me with an appt based on my schedule. Stephanie is informative and always willing help with any billing inquires or dental questions. Dr. Glick was also great. I had some pain from a recent extraction and grafting (not done there, although I shouldve) nonetheless I was put in for the next day. That was my first time meeting Dr. Glick. He was thorough, honest, had great bedside manners, and explained in detail what he could do to help me. He made me feel at ease. The experience was so positive I came back 2 days later for a cleaning and the hygienist Beverley was fantastic! She educated me on proper dental hygiene, took her time, and was efficient. Honestly the best cleaning I ever had and the education was a nice bonus! I look forward to starting my implant journey at Riverdale Family Dental. Overall a great experience!
One of the best Dental experiences Ive had. So my crown & tooth broke🤦🏽♀️. I called & they were able to squeeze me in🥰. I wanted to pass out when Dr. Glick told me that my tooth had rotted & was infected. He told me to relax & walked me through my options 👍. The most memorable part of this experience was when he said that we were in this together. Literally, Dr. Glick & his assistant Natalie were awesome. She was gentle, attentive & put up with my nervousness. He explained everything before it happened & reiterated himself just to reassure me.👍👍 Lastly, he was a wiz with the anesthetic. I didnt feel any pain.😮☺️😁

I had a dental emergency over the weekend, and not only did Stephanie answer her personal cell phone for me, she got me scheduled in Monday morning first thing to see Dr. Glick.Ive been a patient of Dr. Glicks for 4 years, and hes always consistently honest with me about the care needed, he always gives me the best options, and he has such kind beside manner. He empathizes with his patients like he did with me yesterday, and not only got me out of pain, but asked how my husband and family were.The front desk staff are all wonderful, as are Dr. Glicks assistants and medical staff. Everyone is kind, gentle and make you really feel like they care and are there to help you. Dentistry can feel intimidating because it can be costly, but Dr Glick and his staff work with you to not only provide you excellent dental care, but make sure it works with your budget too.Outside of all the wonderful things that make you want to come back to receive care, Riverdale Family Dental works with the best lab to create the most beautiful implants, crowns and work for your mouth. Dr Glick is an excellent dentist. He is very professional and does great work. Dr Glick is kind and caring.I recently had an implant inserted and was very satisfied with what he did. The dental assistants work well with him. They function as a team.I have been going to Dr Glick for 7 years and highly recommend him for all my dental needs.
My experience with Dr Moshe was great he made me feel so comfortable with my tooth extraction and right away i got an implant no pain at all. He was great always checking up on me. The assistants were also really nice! Loved it.
Notice how most of the people who gave high reviews only have 1 review (that’s usually a sign that something is up).Saw the high reviews myself but didn’t do my own due diligence in noticing the trend in the positive comments. I made 2 appts (one for me, one for my child) as new patients & was scheduled for 6 weeks later due to the office’s availability. Two days before our appts, got a call at *9 pm* very abruptly & rudely stating the appts had to be canceled because the doctor would be out for a Jewish holiday—there were no known holidays I could confirm but even so, that was just figured out 2 days before? I mistakenly rescheduled, this time for 2 months later (their next availability). The day before the appt I received a voicemail asking me to confirm for the next day. I called back *one hour later* and the receptionist told me both appts were cancelled because the hygienist just announced they were taking off the next day. I expressed my confusion (“why did I get a confirmation call an hour ago?”) and the receptionist said, “this was literally just announced 5 minutes before you called.” I explained this was the 2nd sudden cancellation from appts I scheduled & rescheduled (due to the office) over the course of 4 months. The receptionist apologized and said, “ I know. This happens ALL the time and we tell them about the feedback.”The next available appts were in late December! I first called them in July, scheduled for end of August, they canceled, rescheduled for end of October, they canceled again and told me they could schedule for end of December.Needless to say, I didn’t reschedule and ended up changing my entire insurance plan because the previous one I had has many dentists with terrible practices like this one. Sadly, the Bronx gets the short end of the stick for many services and horrible practices with shoddy customer service are accepted as the status quo.

What a terrible experience and waste of time. The 3 receptionists in the office do not know what their doing. Why would you tell us that you accept our insurance when in fact you dont. I made an appointment two different times. We get there waiting in the office for 45 minutes to find out that our insurance is not accepted when I clearly stated over the phone what our plan are. She kept talking to patients on the phone, ignored me for a half hour. It was so rude. Dr Glick you need to hire new people. Very unprofessional and rude. I saw you Dr Glick and you didnt even acknowledge anything at all. Just horrible!!
Dr. Glick is extremely efficient, yet he takes time to explain all options and answer all questions. He understands patients fears and misgivings, and knows how to be consoling without being condescending. I am fortunate that his practice is located in my neighborhood, but Id certainly travel to consult him.

Today I had an appointment at Riverdale Family Dental. I was seen within 15 minutes of my arrival. Everyone there were very nice and helpful. The assistant that took my x-rays was gentle. And the Dental Hygienist Beverly! I dont know what to say! She is the best. She explained everything she was doing and took her time with me. I always had a fear of dentist but she made it so much easier. I am happy with my choice of changing dental offices. I highly recommend Riverdale Family Dental. Dr. Flick is amazing. Straight to the point but funny as ever.

I have received this request for a review of an appointment which I cancelled. This is typical of how this office operates. I left a phone message and an email cancelling the appointment and still they want to know how they did, when they didnt do at all. However, since theyre asking, Ill tell about my experience with this office.My first and only encounter with this office was rushing in when the receptionist asked if I could be in the office within an hour. I was going to arrange an appointment at a later date. But, I did race in, and then waited and hour and 15 minutes before anyone saw me. Ironically, I might have been better off in the waiting room because the X-ray technician coughed all over me and said she had a cold. The dental hygienist was awful in more ways than one. Ive had dozens of cleanings in my life, and this was the first one that was painful and the pain lasted several days. In addition the dental hygienist accused me of not entering the medication to which I was allergic when, in fact, I had. When she realized that it really was on my chart, she proceeded to reprimand me for not telling the dentist of my allergy. It was my first visit, I saw the dentist for all of two minutes, I had listed the medication on my chart, and no medication was being prescribed anyway. There was no need for me to tell the dentist, and it was totally inappropriate and unprofessional for the hygienist to speak to anyone that way.The front office staff, incompetent -- this request for example, as I cancelled the appointment, never was seen, but am asked for a review of the visit. Also, three months ago, they were supposed to let me know what my insurance would pay for the required procedure. When I had not heard from them for almost two months, I contacted my insurance company only to learn, and to receive documentation thereof, that they had responded to Riverdale Family Dental two weeks after the request. Id still be waiting for that phone call.The dentist, Dr. Nadler, seemed fine. However, Dr. Glick, the owner of the practice seemed very indifferent to the above complaints when I contacted him. In fact, he turned it back on me when I complained to him about the X-ray technician, the dental hygienist, and his office staff. He asked for their names which, of course, I did not remember, and then said he, therefore, couldnt address the problems. When I suggested that he could just look back at the date of my appointment to learn who was on that day, his response was, Yeah, I guess I can do that.After than one experience, I decided I would no longer go to the Riverdale office. I go to the Scarsdale office instead, not much better. Again, Dr. Nadler seems competent, but the front office staff does not. I have yet to experience the other staff members.
I would like to start by saying thank you to Dr. Glick, he is an extraordinary dentist. He goes above and beyond to make sure your smile is the best smile. He will do what is necessary to save your natural teeth. One of the few dentist that I have encountered that is passionate and kind. Thank you Dr. Glick for your vision and dedication.I am almost done with invisalign and the result is fabulous. I am extremely pleased with my new smile. What a boost of confidence. The beginning was alittle uncomfortable but the discomfort was minimal compared to braces. I look forward to taking my wedding photos with a big smile showing off my straight teeth.
If I could give 0 stars I would. I just returned from the office because the front desk said my appointment was rescheduled and that I received a call. However, I recieved no call whatsoever, the receptionist named Maria claimed she left me a voicemail but I recieved none. I asked her to verify which phone number she called and she had no proof nor could she provide any verification. I am incredibly disappointed. She claimed that my number was erased, that she left a single voicemail, all of which was false, she provided horrible service and I do not reccomend ANYONE to go there unless you wish to be treated like trash.
Great patient/customer service. My best dental experience ever. Diana was excellent!!Office could use a facelift...reception room chairs and overhead dental lamp in the room I was serviced need replacement. Items (shipment boxes, supplies, etc.) throughout the office can be better organized/stored.
Riverdale Family Dental and Dr. Glick are wonderful! They are so accommodating towards teeth/gum sensitivity in dentistry and have a welcoming and kind atmosphere. I highly recommend!
I cant thank Dr Glick enough for his kindness and compassion. I came in to his office in extreme pain. I didnt have an appointment and I was so desperate for his help. He and his staff stayed until 8 PM to treat me. I am now pain free and have found my dentist for life! THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!

I am a teacher and scheduled an appointment two weeks in advance after work at 5 because of travel time. I arranged it so that my wife could take the kids for their after school activities. The day of the appointment, they tell me they have to cancel. When trying to reschedule for the same time slot, they told me they would not have anything for a month and were very unapologetic for the inconvenience they had caused. I am looking for a new dentist that accepts UFT dental insurance. TEACHERS DO NOT GO HERE!!!

I have been coming to this dental office for years. The front desk and dental staff are all extremely professional and helpful. The dental hygienist, Ms. Beverly is amazing . Dr. Glick and all the other dentists are wonderful. I appreciate their polite bedside manner and informative dialogue.
I had an emergency, and since my dentist recently passed away, this was the first time I was using this office. While I was initially annoyed that no one answered my e-mails requesting an appointment, and while I did have to wait, I was very pleased with Dr. Nadler and her staff. They attended to my emergency and advised me to come in for a cleaning in a month or two, but not in a pushy way. I will continue using them in the future.
Today is the first time ive been to this dentist and i have to say that i am pleasantly surprised. I have always had horrible experiences my whole entire life. Ive always felt so judged and shamed from comments made by the hygentist and the dentist. Today I felt cared for and like if they wanted to help me. I look forward to continuing to come here for my dental care

Well prepare to wait... And wait... And wait.... 2 hours from moment I walked in to moment I was done for a cleaning! Appointments apparently dont mean much here. Service was good otherwise, just wait time is serious. That wait time 🙃 it is a shame because the cleaning was pretty thorough and staff are nice. A woman missed her appointment so you would think itd clear them up but not. And another woman experienced the same wait time (so wasnt only me). One dude walked in half hour after me and his appointment was for that time but was seen right away because he knew someone 🤔🤔🤔 Im not a complainer, truly not, but had to this time.

Dr Glick was patient and gentle. He made me feel much better about a procedure I was worried about and took the time to explain every step along the way. I will definitely be returning.

My daughters have been coming here for many years. I had a scheduling issue (not the first time) with one of the front desk staff and Stephanie the office manager went above and beyond to make sure the issue was resolved and that my daughters were seen. I want to thank her for her professionalism and outstanding service. And thank you Dr. Glick for also taking the time to come and speak to me and making me feel at ease about future appointments!

Hi I just been treated at the Riverdale FMily Dental for my first treatment without no pain. Every here treated very professional . Si far so good.
Ive been going to this practice for years. Dr.Glick is an amazing dentist. Unlike many other dentists, Dr. Glick never recommends procedures unless theyre absolutely necessary. So Im always confident that only necessary work is being done, and its done really well. I also appreciate his professional, no-nonsense attitude. All dental hygienists at that practice are also extremely competent and so very kind and patient.
First a cleaning - meh. Hygenist mumbled everything, which through the mask made her very difficult to understand.Other than that, excellent work - and I appreciated every room having its own air purifier! Very nice and safe feeling!
I went for a cleaning and my Hygienist Daria was wonderful. She took the time to answer all my questions. She was very knowledgeable also. Dr Glick is a great dentist who really seems to care about his patients.

I have had it with this place. The receptionist here are rude and the dentist that comes in on Wednesday I feel is incompetent. They call me to come in earlier when they were told to stop. They call me again 2 hours later stating the dentist had to leave. Been coming here close to 3 months, Ive been so disappointed with there dental work and lack of professionalism, left me no choice but to leave them and officially make a complaint.
This has been my favorite dental office so far. They are friendly, attentive and flexible. 10/10 would recommend!

After a horrible experience with another dentust,I found Dr. Glick. The amount of work he had to do to correct improperly done implants was incredible. He very patiently explained every procedure and was very understanding of my needle phobia. I can recommend this practice without any reservations.

Searching for a emergency dentist accepting new patients came across Riverdale Family Dental. I came in on May 8, 2020 with pain and left with a new dentist and without pain and discomfort as I came in with. Office is beautiful decorated, spotless clean, and following all Covid-19 guidelines with patients and staff. They were very cautious and spaced every patient to arrived upon to be seen. Dr. Glick assistant (red hair lady, unfortunately didnt got her name) was very pleasant, attentive, making sure I felt at ease while taking x-rays and reassuring me that doctor will help with my emergency. When I met Dr. Glick he was very professional, attentive, great listener never felt rushed, explained what could be done for me based on my insurance and pandemic guidelines allowance. Work was done, pain free, and in no time ( I felt at home and time flew and didnt realized doctor was finished). I am due in a month to complete my work. Dr. Glick will be my dentist for ever. Thank you so much.
This has to be the worse dental office I have ever been to. My first tine there. The receptionist are rude, unorganized and uncaring. After waiting an hour I got up an left w/o being seen. Actually the place doesn’t even deserve a one star. I would rate it a zero if I could. Good thing that across the street there is another Family Dental office. There I was welcomed and treated with the curtesy and respect that a patient deserves. As a HealthCare professional if you are looking for a nice caring dentist please do not go to this place, go across the street 3525 Riverdale Ave Family Dental. The receptionist is extremely nice and so is the Dentist. Oh btw, you are also seen right away not an hour later. Trust me.

Let me start off by saying THANK YOU so very much to Dr. Glick and the staff! I HATE the dentist but these guys really made me super comfortable and confident!Dr. Glick perform a tooth extraction. I have been experiencing a tooth problem back in September of 2018 and NO DENTIST could help me! This place took me in as a walk in and perform a tooth extraction right away!!!Dr. Glick was very candid! He explained the whole process as he was performing the extraction! He showed me and explained the infection under my tooth on the X-rays. Every action he took, he explained to me what he was doing and what to expect. This made me feel super calm because he was being straight forward with me. Even tho i was in slight pain (even while being numb), I trusted him and told him to do whatever he has to do to remove the infection.I already recommend this place to my family members and friends. The service and aura of this place is incredible.Again, thank you so much Dr. Glick and the team. This is where you need to go people!!!

I had a major issue during COVID 19. I was in so much pain I was literally crying. I was worried about going into the office. Dr Glick opened the office to see me. They took my temperature and had enough protective equipment on to look like they were ready to land on the moon. He took me out of pain with compassion and kindness. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!! I have to warn that the staff is unorganized. Kind indeed, but not very good at communicating. Some eye candy no doubt but not very good confidence holders. Doctor seems to be in once a week and until then not much can be done.
I used Dr Glick for Invisalign and I am satisfied with his work. He is a sweetheart and does excellent work. When I first started using this dental office, I found the staff to be unorganized and unprofessional. On my recent visits I noticed new faces, so it seems he has hired new people and is working on improving his help.Only con, is that he is not open on weekends.

We visited five different dentists before finding Riverdale Family Dental. Thankfully, five times turned out to be the charm! Searching out a new doctor is never fun, especially with an 11-year-old who gets very skittish at the dentist. But Dr. Hwang is patient and knowledgeable, her staff is friendly and helpful, and the facility is modern and welcoming. So glad we found them!

I am not a patient here and after accompanying my mother to her appointment I would not like to be a patient. She saw a female dentist that was very nice, the problem is the front desk.Not sure what was going on but you can here them gossiping VERY loudly, the whole time I was there waiting they didnt stop gossiping.You can clearly hear the conversations they are having and they do not speak kindly.Patients are waiting outside while staff is just laughing it away. Office is poorly managed. I could here another person waiting complaining about her appointment wait time. While this was happening one of front desk members (Girl with red hair who was the loudest one) was eating at the front desk ... just awful.Office needs to be managed better.
I spoke to Samantha and she said they took my plan. She even ran my name thru the data base and confirmed same. When I got their today for my appointment they stated they didnt take my plan and offered a FREE CONSULTATION as a consoltation. RIDICULOUS AND UNPROFESSIONAL.

This practie is extremely unprofessional forgetful and unorganized. I needed an exam to be done which should have been done on my initial visit and the results should have been sent to my insurance provider so i can continue with my procedure. The test was never done or even mentioned. I learned from my health insurance that this testing should have been done. 4 weeks later and multiple calls later i still havent had the exam or the deep cleaning done

2022-06-10From the front desk to the orthodontist, all friendly and great quality care. Ms.Beverely and and Mr.Glick were some of the most informative care I have had. Most importantly it is very friendly to first time patients if you are looking for a new office. Companys encourage you to leave a review on their product, as I was leaving the office again i was encouraged to do so but it didnt feel like a product. I wasnt aware until the end that there as many reviews as there were. Great care and great staff I recommend to any first timers if you have had bad previous experiences with others.

2022-05-13I do not write reviews. My mom has been going to Dr. Glick for the past 8 years. My mom and I arrived 15 minutes earlier than our scheduled implants consultation appointment and was seen immediately. He was very patient in explaining every step of the procedure and discussing best options. He doesn’t try to talk you into things you don’t need and my mom and I left the office feeling happy.In addition, Dr. Glick replaced her temporary tooth with the porcelain crown that was scheduled for the following week. His entire staff was very welcoming, helpful, kind, extremely supportive and made for a very warm environment.

2022-03-18Today was my first time visiting with Dr. Glick. He and his staff are wonderful! The front desk was very professional and helpful with my insurance verification. Once I was in the back, Dr. Glick and his tech were very attentive to my situation and made sure I fully understood exactly what the problem was and how to remedy it. I needed a extraction and I was very nervous about the pain and bleeding, Dr. Glick made sure I was more than comfortable, I felt nothing! A very professional, clean and kind office, very happy I chose this dentist.

Today, I had a visit in which I had Ms. Beverly as my hygienist and Im in love. She understood my fears when I expressed them, and took them seriously. She helped my daughter and myself feel comfortable and completed her job with diligence. Im grateful for her, and I hope she is there for all my future visits.

2022-04-05I was doing some research for a new Dentist. So, I went online and happened to see the high ratings that Riverdale Family Dental had. The reviews were very good and I decided to give them a try. Let me tell you I wasnt disappointed. The staff was kind and friendly. Beverly was great! I felt nothing at all while she was cleaning my teeth. That was the first time I never experienced that. Whenever I went to a Dentist in the past, I felt some kind of pain. This will be my go to Dental care place moving forward!

2022-02-15I have never experienced a dental implant, but from what I hear, it can be a traumatic experience. However, Dr. Glicke is fantastic at explaining everything step by step. I don’t have a tolerance for pain and he prepared me for that possibility, walking me each step of the way making sure I experienced the least possible pain. Heck, any pain came from the the injection of the anesthesia. So far it’s been perfect. I’m not the greatest patient and he still tended to me when my stitches broke off. The staff is young and energetic, because he is very energetic and attentive to patients.I highly recommend this dentist for the entire family. Don’t hesitate to make an appointment when you can. He’s great!
