Paid over 3000 to uave truck fixed. Now im getting msgs from Kevin Hiz saying more is wrong. This is completely annoying. Not sure if I would go bck. I dont like being harrassed wit lies 3 wks aft I had wk done.
Heartbreak dealership. My daughter was promised a slightly used Altima by the head of the sales department, even gave her the VIN. I went there with cash a few hours later, but no 2019 Altima! She is heartbroken. Thanks, Riverhead Nissan, for ruining another persons day.

When my engine mount broke I knew it was going to be a big job to fix. After determining that it was covered under the warranty, I was given a loaner car and work was completed in a little more than a week. Service advisor Donna was great to work with. Repairs were made and car runs perfect. Many thanks to Donna for a great experience.
I just bought a car from Riverhead Nissan yesterday and am extremely happy w the experience. Salesman Mario Gonzalez was great and the process was as speedy as it can be. After the purchase I misunderstood a charge and not only was it explained (it was to my advantage) properly, everyone treated me w respect and understanding (thank you Jessica/sorry if I was testy. I fully recommend purchasing from Riverhead Nissan especially w the limited national rental inventory, there is tremendous value to be found here. Much love.
I would definitely recommend this Nissan dealership to anybody looking to have a great experience from start to finish. My wife and l went there to get her a larger suv for our growing family and our Sales Consultant Giancarlo Cappiello assisted us in every way. He had listened to exactly what we were looking for and had provided the perfect suv to us. His professionalism and excellent service really made the sale nice and smooth and it felt good getting the suv from him. This Nissan team all worked well together. The Finance Consultant helped us through all the necessary financial portion of the sale and was very clear with the warranty as well. Also the insurance gentleman Jim had cared to go out of his way to get us the best coverage with the best insurance. Thank you all at Riverhead Nissan, NY for being such an exceptional sales team.
I have a 2017 Titan and brought it in for service with 99k on it. It needed a tune up, oil change, fuel injection cleaning etc. I also wanted an issue looked at for when I drive it..(i love this truck). So I dropped it off and the service department did its thing. Well after a couple of days i get a call that they found the issue...I needed a transmission...The answer was no problem its covered talk about letting out a sigh of relief. While working on that they found another issue and they covered that too. Well i picked the truck up 2 weeks ago and put over 3k on it and does it run like the beast of a truck that it is. So I give the service department of Riverhead Nissan the best recommendation there is 5 stars and more. Thank you folks for doing a great job...See you on the next service trip....Mark
Got me a great deal on a beautiful 2022 pathfinder platinum. They were so confident they were going to get the deal done they shifted the entire showroom to prep the car before I even filled out the credit app. Also gave me more on my trade in than anybody else. The whole crew was top notch!
I cant believe all this thieves have 4.5 stars.I bought a used minivan, we had a price set, after we register and add the car insurance, they added some $2500 more otherwise I cant take the car. Something bring the car charge, like it was new if there is such of charge. I said I cant pay that. They forced me to. Plus the car has one key and they said the other car was being requested. Every day I went there and they said come back we dont have it yet. Until one of them told me, we dont have it and if they didnt sign a piece of paper that says otherwise I forgets about it. Terrible place to go. Plus 6 months before I went there for a lease, and they tried to act like they were changing number for bank purposes, but the end price will be different and cheaper at my benefit. I refused to sign the paper, they tried to say I have no choice and went I was leaving the office they change everything again. Carefully with this people, full of scammers
It was very pleasant and rewarding. Service personnel were professional, friendly, courteous and very attentive to my needs. I was offered and provided transportation to a local shopping mall to do other errands while my car was being serviced. They promptly picked me up once I called to let them know I was ready to return to the dealership. There were no delays or lost time. My vehicle was ready upon my return, in a very timely manner. No inconvenience whatsoever. The work was explained to me. I am completely satisfied.
Unethical thieves. Finance manager Ken seemed unhinged. Ran our credit without us signing anything for the wrong vehicle. Lexi the sales rep and Ken from finances daughter was just as unethical and highly unprofessional. They knew they had done something wrong and kept pushing for us to sign credit app even when we said we were leaving. Offered to drop the price on the car for signature on credit app (not purchase order). At this point they were both physically shaking since they RAN OUR CREDIT WITHOUT AUTHORIZATION and knew what they had done was unethical. I would never purchase a car here and wouldn’t send my worst enemy. Will be calling Nissan USA to file a formal complaint and speak to my lawyer.
Be careful with salesman Jose Amezquita, hes a con artist and robs peoples identity. He takes out cars, credit cards and cell phone accounts under your name and never pays you back what he steals from you.. he did it to me.. stole my identity when he worked for Atlantic Toyota.. he makes up stories that he has cancer to feel bad for him. He sold me a car cash $10k outside the dealership because my credit was bad but he supposedly wanted to help me and then went to my job a month later to take it back with the excuse he wanted to help me n put an alarm system in it and i never saw the car again.. this guy is a liar and deserves to be in jail. He changes phone numbers all the time and gives me the run-around about paying me back from 4 years ago...
I have been a regular customer for years at Nissan. I was actually thinking back to all the Nissans Id been driving over the last decade.. this has been my go to place. I feel at home there. I dont ever want to go anywhere else..they are the best why shop around when I have already found the BEST!!
Salesperson Giancarlos was great as very personable n nice. But once I got to the paperwork part with financial person n insurance part, it was a very predictable car sales stuff!!!! Sleazy way of overcharging you n not giving documents that I paid over $1800 for CPO n tried to sell $3400 for extended warranty! I think this guy name was Kyle so be careful when dealing with this guy as he doesn’t talk or explain anything. He’ll pretend to b very busy to avoid answering or explaining. Very typical experience of buying a car. Getting an Insurance is another thing with this place as they have in-house All State agent n later founded out that it’s much higher so another hassle we need to deal with later. For salesman, Giancarlos is fantastic but all others are usual sleaze dealership stuff!!!!
I accompanied my 81 year old mother who is handicap there today, only to find out that the only handicap ramp was blocked by a dealer car. When asked if I could be helped, I said could you move the car away from the ramp. They staff shrugged it off and watched my poor mother struggle with he walker up the curb. After being there for 1 1/2 hours the ramp still was not cleared. The staff watched again as me and my mother struggled to get her off the curb and into the car. What a bunch of selfless dildos. They will never have my business again. Jerks.
My spouse and I went here because he was told he could do a trade-in.. we sat down the guy who was helping us took all his information then came and told us he needed to put down $8000....he told us to combine credit and see what would happen, he came back and told us we couldnt get approved for a loan unless we put down atleast $10,000.to be honest we felt as if there was racial discrimination in play, we do not feel as if we were treated as customers, they were more looking at our skin color.if you are a colored person I would not recommend here at all.
This place is absolutely the worst experience that you could imagine. As a first time lease holder they made this process one that I will hold onto for the future as to WHAT not to look for in a dealership. My car was given to me without a lease for the first month of driving it. (A whole month without a lease!) They also failed to provide me with a car registration after two months of driving the car and as a result of their negligence I received a ticket. They promised to pay for it as it was their fault but never did. Moreover, it is now January 2021 and I began my lease in September of 2020 and they still have NOT provided me with a second key. I have been trying to contact them but am constantly told to just wait longer. I got locked out of my car due to issues with its automatic door lock system, and had to pay for Pop-A-Lock out of pocket since I still do not have a second key!In October, I reported these issues to Nissan HQ and they told me that someone from Nissan Riverhead would get back to me the next day. Again, it is now January and I still have gotten no response. I have been so patient understanding that there is a pandemic and things are moving slowly however five months of radio silence is about enough. If you are a first time lease holder like myself and trying to find a place that will actually take care of your needs, I do not recommend this place. In fact I would not recommend it to my worst enemy.Nissan Riverhead if you finally see this out of all of my attempts to reach you, please provide me with my second key and pay for the ticket that I was issued due to your negligence.Again, DO NOT RECOMMEND.The only good experience was my broker who actually listened and did his best to assist me.UPDATE: 6/17/2021Ms. Edward’s had replied to this a month ago after I had already contacted her shortly after this post... in the beginning of this year so clearly it was just for the sake of making it look like this dealership cares about its customers when in reality they do not. I have been calling her for quite some time now and still no response. Still no second key. Still an unpaid ticket under my name for their negligencee. You have my Number Ms. Edward’s, I purchased the car from your dealership. You can call me at ANY time.
Terrible experience! Sales reps performed bait and switch on us, told us one price when it was much higher upon arrival. Finance manager was very aggressive and attempted to bully me into a vehicle. Credit application was performed without my signed consent or knowledge!!! DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE!
Bait and switch practices. Completely unprofessional salesman.Negotiated a deal, for my parents with Becky. Becky was receptive, attentive and very easy to work with. I was instructed to have my parents ask for Becky or Julio (salesman) when they went in to sign the paperwork. When they went in the next day, Julio was unavailable due to an emergency and my parents were asked to work with Mark or Mario. I was unable to get his name when he called me to help with translations. This salesman altered the deal and tried to add additional charges that were already negotiated. When we did not accept his request for additional funds, the salesman then in classic bait and switch tactics, no longer had the automobile we discussed the previous day. Magically the only vehicles available were a either a vehicle with less features, for the same money, or one that cost more. After it was stated that we would continue our business at another dealer who had the vehicle we desired, at the price we desired, this individual rudely threw my fathers drivers license at him and told him to go elsewhere.Go for the supposedly good deal, stay for the abuse. No thanks.
In for 10,000 mile maintenance. The change of oil and filter was free of charge. greatly appreciated.I had the tires rotated. car is not driven a lot, milage after 18 months is 11,200.The service people (Donna and Kenon)are fantastic. I have known them for many years. They ask question before completing any needed repair. They always explain the charges and tell you clearly what was done. i waited this time , took about one hour and ten minutes.
I had to wait an hour and 15 minutes to get air put in my tires due to the change of seasons. Donna, the representative, explained to me that they were being thorough and carefully checking for nails. She couldn’t have been nicer or more informative! I love my dealership!
I had my car serviced and as always the courtesy was great, Donna is always great she’s such a kind and helpful lady as well as personable. My experience is always great because of her, I didn’t have to wait long for my car to be serviced, although that doesn’t matter as long as it’s serviced properly. Donna kept me informed about my car like she always does. Thank you Donna!
They wanted to replace my $10 cabin air filter for $80 which I denied as I can do it myself. They had apparently already removed it but since I denied the replacement they just left it out. So they removed my filter and sent me off without one in place since I wouldn’t pay for a new one instead of putting my current filter back in.
I went in telling them what I wanted to spend, they got me the deal with what I thought we mutually agreed upon and then when I went back into finance, all of a sudden I owed an extra $1,000 and my monthly payments went up by $20. I felt trapped at that point but I wish I walked out. I ended up getting the car and it’s beautiful but I was NOT happy with the experience at all.
Giancarlo was an amazing car salesman. Super pleasant to work with and made car buying super easy. Everything was already taken care of when picking up the car. All I had to do was sign and the car was mine. He never pushed me into anything and really made my car buying experience enjoyable. I highly recommend him.
Absolutely worst dealership I have ever dealt with. I went online to a third party place and applied. They found me this dealership that was supposed to be good and take care of me. I called and spoke to Eddie. After about 15 minutes on the phone he asked what I was looking for. I told him a car that is reasonably priced and with little to no money down. He asked if I could do $250, i told him yes but i would be in a couple of day . He told me he would call me back within 10 minutes that he needed to print out my application. I called 4 times and left messages with him in the 4 hours before I had to be at work. He never returned my cal . I called and asked to speak with the sales manager, left a message with him and no return call either. Last week I helped my wife but a car 112 Auto Sales and did not go through this. FYI, I have an appointment with 112 Auto Sales for Thursday July 25th at 1pm. I was really hoping you guys could help me out so I didnt have to drive as far.
Just spent a few a hours looking for a car.Giancarlo was so nice, given his best to help me find something that I like it. One of the few sales consultant that are actually interested in helping besides getting your money. Highly recommend him if you go to riverhead Nissan.Made my whole experience even better! Thank you Giancarlo!
Best service ever! Donna is knowledgeable, friendly and genuinely cares about not only me, the customer but making sure my car is serviced timely and expertly. I highly recommend Riverhead Nissan! See Donna, she is the best and will always take care of you!9/24/20 Donna is still the best and makes sure your vehicle is SAFE! A++++!
I always have a great experience every time I come to Nissan Riverhead. From Donna in service who is an extremely nice person. She greets me and knows who I am when I come in. To Mario who got me into my car-he gives me a hug and seems genuinely happy to see me. As well as all the other Nissan employees. Everyone is so friendly and seems to really care.
My overall experience was nice and the staff were super hospitable and nice. The only thing was this was my first time leasing and I was told a certain amount for my monthly payments (similar to my previous one). When I got ready to close, there were other fees and conditions added on that I wasn’t aware of prior to, making my payments higher than I would have liked them to be. This wasn’t my first time buying from Nissan so we do have a rapport which made it even worse. That was the only con but other than, it was a nice experience.
Was great experience until they never paid my lease I traded in. Still to this day. Thanks for destroying my credit Nissan Riverhead.Update Thanks to Becky the only person who did the right thing for me and fixed this on going issue and got my returned lease paid. She deserves a massive promotion and you can just get rid of the rest of the trash you have there!
I leased my new car at Riverhead Nissan and had a wonderful experience! They were professional and helped me get the best deal possible. Thank you Kyle Price for helping me through every step. The process was painless. I even was able to switch my car insurance and get a better deal all in one day! I would highly recommend you check them out!
Nissan said come on in will give you brand new vehicle, No down payment , Brand new 2021 Rogue less money your paying now. I thought OK cant get hurt us if its not lower its not new we could just leave. I was astounded that we left with a brand new beautiful 2021 Nissan gorgeous I mean its just way better than our 2016 love the everything about it and it waz less than our payment that we making I love you guys in Riverhead you rock...This is our 2 brand new car 🚗 in 5 yrs Thanks Lexi and lexis dad
Had a routine service done (oil change and tire rotation). My car was fine, no problems when I brought it in and when they were done, I was told my car needed an alignment (which I just had done at another Nissan service center so I declined, they then told me that makes sense, they only suggested an alignment based off wear on my tires). When I went to drive off, my car was pulling to the right and would not drive straight. I asked to speak to the technician to ask what could have caused that because I know things can happen. The service manager, Ken Hiz, met me at the door. When I explained my concern he immediately told me that was impossible. I explained my car drove fine here, then he spoke over me, reading the sheet saying they suggested an alignment, the car already had this issue. I repeated it drove here fine, he then pointed out a scratch on my bumper and stated the car was in an accident and that’s why it pulls. At this point I was done and I told him he was ignorant because he would not listen to me. For a service manager he does not understand customer service basics. He never even acknowledged my concern, immediately dismissed me by saying it was impossible. Needless to say, I took my car to another service center that explained the pulling was due to the uneven wear on my tires, not an alignment. So, not only did he speak to me like I was an idiot and didn’t matter, he has no understanding of vehicles or this could have been resolved with a simple explanation of something so basic that he was clueless about. I will not return as long as he is the service manager and I will make sure to share with all of my colleagues and professional clients to never service your vehicle at this location. What a horrible, unnecessary experience!!!
The dealership took their time to make sure I got the best deal for my brand new Nissan Rouge! My salesperson Mario was friendly and very knowledgeable. The transaction went smoothly and I left the dealership satisfied. They even paid off the remaining 2 months of my old lease! I highly recommend their service. Rated A+ in my book! Thank you Riverhead Nissan.
I requested a specific part to be ordered ( Pre Cat, Bank 1 sensor 1). Did not require diagnostic. Im currently relocating and do not have space or tools required to complete the repair myself. So I decided to use a local nissian knowing that they had the tools.Welp they ordered the wrong part ( After Cat Bank 1 sensor 2 was ordered and installed). Guess the GED they got was well paid for because the notes are typed horribly. Only good news was installed by the tech correctly (at least he was smart enough to put the part in the right spot. Thank you Tech!). I called they are will not willing to work with me because, they didnt diagnoes the problem, even though they ordered the part. Sum up they installed the wrong part they ordered for me, charge me $430.07 for a repair I can easily do in the side of the road for $180 dollars. Again lesson learned. If you want it done right Do it your self and for everyone else using these Dealers remember they dont diagnose they just part replace on what the computer spits out. Some parts are as cheep as 5 dollars but they will rip out an assembly for $800.** Updated***Mrs. Edwards why would I spend anytime calling. Your reply has taken over 1 week, Your backend staff would not work with me. They Lied on formal complaint document saying that I looked at a screen and confirmed the part from the screen. (Covid -19 restrictions*** and you have a plastic barrier to block looking over the counter. )I loved the snide quip We wish you luck in your new location (Tammy in writing). It even says Customer Satisfaction is our Number 1 Concern on your Invoice. Its definitively not! They would have Fixed this if this was the case .(kept my car for a day, swapped out the parts, which your tech probably still had the O2 Sensor at his station when I first called said it was the wrong sensor).Honestly,......$ 266.92 OEM and $129 Labor +tax for something we know is a $115 Part and 15 minutes of labor. Shows the Penny Foolish Nature of your staff. I have resubmitted again for reimbursement for the (incorrectly ordered and Installed) part.Due to Nissan RIVERHEAD AUTOMALL staff response, and filling out the forms correctly, and no trust at all. Ive found a more receptive and attention to detail shop that can fully fill out a order form correctly, 60 miles west. If you feel it necessary; you can contact me through Tammys access.Figured I will give the final update to this. I have not been reimbursed for their failure to order the correct part. I found another nissan branded dealer ( ty nissan corporate for the recommendation!) They did as I asked and order a part I required without diagnosis and installed it correctly for me.Fyi thats how you earned customer trust. They now have gotten 5k work order from me replaced the lower control arms, repaired my exhaust to pass NY inspection and a loner car while the work was completed.I paid cash too. They will be getting another 2-6k out of me when my hybrid battery will need replacement. I dont recommend Riverhead AUTOMALL at all. I do recommend anyone reading this to test anyplace before having them do any repairs. Their job is to do what you ask not what they require and in my case it was a simple part order and install. Middle management could have fix but instead decided to fail at customer service lose a client and now have a long winded negative review.
Excellent experience last week with the purchase of a Certified Pre-Owned Nissan Rogue. Sebastian, Pete, Mario & Francois were all extremely helpful. So glad Sebastian was my sales rep.. I also had an opportunity to utilize the Service Department & had an equally great experience with Eddie & Becky. Happy Holidays to the great team at Riverhead Nissan!
Both Donna in the Service Department and Frank in the Sales Department made me feel welcomed and important. I have purchased 5-6 cars from this Dealership, and each time I trade in a car and lease another, I am extremely pleased with my experience. I dont think I will ever buy a car from any other Dealership!
Great experience. They know how to make the customer feel special. I was able to negotiate my deal and take delivery in a matter of hours. I wasn’t pressured and François my sales person did an excellent Job.I will definitely recommend Riverhead Nissan to anyone looking to get a fair deal on a car. Definitely ask for François when you go there.
Absolutely horrible experience leasing aSentra from this dealership. I made it very clear to both the salesman Mark and manager Joseph that I could only pay a certain amount per month for a car, which was then offered to me by the salesperson by text and in person. I texted the salesman and specifically asked if the deal we had been discussing could be offered to me through their “clear the lot” event, and he said if I came in today, it would be. I was then offered the deal at the dealership. I accepted the offer, changed my insurance to then wait three hours to speak with finances. I was then told the taxes were not included which raised my monthly payment by $41, an amount I made clear BOTH times I visited the dealership and spoke to Mark and Joseph, that I could not afford. Joseph then apologized that WE misunderstood. We then had sit there and renegotiate the deal. I never actually got the deal I was offered by the salesman. I moved my work schedule around to come in specifically for this deal and the way we were treated was absolutely terrible. Once this lease is over I will never deal with this dealership again. I highly recommend looking somewhere else.
I had the worst experience with this dealership. The men there treated me horribly. When I got home with my car I tried to add up the numbers on the papers Id signed and they didnt add up. After meeting with friends who work for both Subaru and Toyota I was confident that I wasnt wrong, and after 7 trips, filled with tears and anger I figured out with the help of Maria- the one amazing person at the dealership- that there was a total of $3,200 I did not agree on added into my price (none of it signed by me). Some of the issues I had with several of the men:Mike over aggressively tried to sell me the more expensive of two cars in 45 minutes before I had to be at work. The insurance agent was completely not focused and told the Geico agent the completely wrong states for my insurance. In the days returning, the general manager Vinny told me everything I was saying was wrong and talked down to me when Id just learned what I was saying from his financial advisors. He and two other men (maybe all managers) looked up at me and then went back to talking when I walked in on the third day, not offering to get who I needed or anything at all. Roldi watched football recaps on his phone the entire time I was meeting with him, and Mike didnt offer that hed made a mistake, only that it was a misunderstanding (after he told me the wrong information about there being no negative equity), and Ken the service manager laughed at me, basically rolled his eyes at me when I told him that Subaru had found the alignment was off when I asked them to check it and talked to me extremely rudely. They also had sold me the car with an open recall knowingly.*Please see my full review on Riverhead Nissans Facebook page. I wasnt able to fit it all here
Mario rocked. He was honest and straight forward and got us a deal on our car that we were comfortable with without talking down to us. Being women can be tough when getting a car as some salespeople think we dont know anything. We left another dealer the day before for that reason. We called looking for a specific car and had the car pulled and detailed by the time we got there so we could see it all ready. He also didnt try to sell anything we didnt want and also made sure to show us all new features and how they work. This is how we should do business. Thank you!
I have used Riverhead Nissan exclusively for service since I bought my Nissan Rogue in 2016. I highly recommend them. My car is thoroughly inspected every time it’s there, and they give me a report detailing upcoming maintenance items with prices. They are always pleasant too!
I called and said that my car needs new front and back breaks, inspection and tints to get removed the total price was around $800 with a rental but when I dropped off my car i got a call saying that it also needed new Rotors, calipers and the brake fluid to be replaced as per the technician adding another $1,500.00. I was very upset but I had no choice to move along with the new parts because they said that my car wouldn’t pass inspection if these parts weren’t replaced. After hearing the total price of $2,300.00 I almost fainted, I was very upset but I was very surprised that they gave me a courtesy charge of $2050.00. I requested to see my old parts and I wanted to see each rotor and caliper that was replaced. The technician explained why this was necessary and took his time doing so. The customer service that was shown to me was excellent and that made me feel really good and pleased. My cars rides and feels great, I understand it’s a business but i truly feel that they were looking out for my safety and the safety of other drivers. I would like to give a special thanks to Donna from the Service dept. and the Tech Eric who serviced my car for showing great customer service. I live in Holbrook so I could easily go to the one on 112 put the people that work at the Riverhead location just shown me excellent customer service and better pricing I will be coming back soon for a coolant flush and more. Thank you
I never use my time to leave bad reviews however this must be said.I dropped my car off because after 20 minutes of driving it would shake. Two weeks and $3500 later they tell me to pick my car up. I start driving home and it starts shaking again. Nissan picked it back up and told me they need another $4700 to fix it. I do not recommend them at all.
Mario was Amazing and super helpful guiding me in the car buying process. François the GM was incredible helping me get the absolute best deal and getting me into my new beautiful car. And the gentleman in Finance was spectacular helping me work out a deal i could afford! Will ABSOLUTELY be reccomending to everyone i know looking for a car. Its worth the drive to deal with the Amazing team at Riverhead Nissan!!!
I appreciate the little things of simply having a question without an appointment and having the service guys treat you with respect. Thank you to an Edy gentleman for helping me with a question on a camera& speed sensor from a recall. The young guy today who took my question from entering the garage also respectful, got someone “ Edy “ to help me out. Great staff and team!
I can’t say enough good things about this dealership especially salesman Giancarlo. My daughter fell in love with a 2017 Nissan Altima but it was a little out of her price range. Giancarlo worked with me so effortlessly to make her ‘dream car’ become a reality. Above and beyond service from everyone. We were able to surprise her with it tonight on her 17th birthday where he even had a bow on it ❤️
Buyer beware of the finance department!! I was overcharged and charged for an extended warranty that was never mentioned nor did I want it. I received reimbursement for the $2400 overage but still waiting for the $2750 reimbursement for the cancellation of the extended warranty. I have been calling, ten times, in the last two days to get information on the money owed to me and no one has the courtesy to call me back.
5 Stars for Riverhead Auto Mall! Kerry, Francois, Sebastian, Jalen, & John, you all took part in making this an exceptional car leasing experience. You heard my needs, you listened, you gave me the car payment I wanted. You treated me with respect and fairness. I drove away with a car that made my wife happy. What else could I ask for? You deserve a BIG thanks. See you again in three years ( or sooner, if we need another car) Thanks again to all.
I’ve been a customer of Riverhead Nissan for decades. Yes, decades. Always have had excellent service and professional staff. I’d highly recommend to anyone. Sales staff is friendly. No bait and switch nonsense. Service department is thorough and very professional. I’ve dealt with Donna Harrison at the service desk since the early 90’s. She explains everything and is very professional. I’ve sent numerous family and friends to Riverhead Nissan and they’ve been treated well. Highly recommended.
Amazing experience. Both my Wife and I work insane hours and have a hard time getting to places before they close. We showed up 10 minutes before they close and didn’t expect to have such a friendly attentive welcome. Kyle (our salesman) wastes no time helping us find the right make and model that fits our needs and worked with us on price to find the best deal fast. In and out in 90 minutes with an upgrade on the car and a lower price. Couldn’t be happier.
As for the location itself, it is very good. The establishment is very clean and well kept. They have a very good selection of new and used cars. That being said, Avoid. The people at the desk can be real jerks unless they know you are definitely a customer. Tried to order a 370Z and one of the guys at the desk started to give me a nonsense story stating that the cars are rare and then gave me a price that was way off. The Nissan website states that the 370z base price is around $31K and he tried to tell me something different which I find hilarious considering one can look up the price in-front of them on ones cell phone.
Without a doubt, Nissan Service Department, located in Riverhead is the finest example of Customer Service I have ever found.Their talents and knowledge of superior quality care for their customers and their vehicles is stellar.Best of all, you dont need to driving a Nissan to have all the benefits they provide. As a female Senior Citizen, I can vouch for their honesty, integrity and excellent manners - no bill padding, no unnecessary additional work orders and whether you are there for a vehicle inspection, or routine service check - every detail of the Service is explained in detail at checkout. Possible future needs are also disclosed - its worth a trip from anywhere on Long Island.
Absolute worst dealership experience. Tried to give a second chance but the service desk clearly does not care about customer service or loyalty.Donna incredibly rude at the service desk time and time again. Hate to say names but when you are constantly rude and your job is customer service.I spent 9 grand in service in past two years. My experience on my Titan with almost 8 grand of service work at one visit which was a nightmare. Added costs and miss communition throughout with Donna.I was in a bind and needed the truck to be fixed for reliable transportation for work so I had the work done locally and because my original OEM parts lasted a long time I went back to a dealership.18 months later, 40k miles, my newly replaced bearings I paid $1,000 for, failed.Last OEM bearings lasted 11 years and 120,000 miles.Nissan service desk Donna rude again when I tried to explain my situation. I spoke with another gentleman which was at least professional, said he could do nothing for me because after 12 months.Offered no help, quote or discount for a repair. Even after the conversation of all the recent service worl I spent at this dealership recently.I was calm and patient throughout hoping morality would be on my side but not here. I didnt want to make a scene in front of other customers waiting. I kept my composure, dignity and left.Nissan Riverhead really didnt try in least bit to provide any customer service for me or care about my 11 years of customer loyalty.I would highly recommend taking your business elsewhere.Never reached out to me, even after post reply.
Very friendly and helpful staff in all departments. Hector leased us our vehicle last year and greets us like old friends each time we go back for service. Donna in the service department is also super friendly and honest, they don’t try to get you to do extra service that your car doesn’t need. I’d definitely recommend Riverhead Nissan.
What was supposed to be amazing and rewarding turned to a nightmare.First-we get the loan approved after hitting my credit 7+ times only to reveal the loan is through my own bank.Second- we get a car and then have to wait hours and hours. Sales rep kept saying, soon, lying the whole time. I missed picking my kids up from school when I told him when I needed to leave. The reason? They are detailing and doing inspection.Third- we go home and the car smells of heavy cigarette smoke. WAS NEVER DEATAILED!!!!So they say they will do “another” round but I live an hour away and I wasn’t supposed to have this issue. They do not go above and beyond. Rude unprofessional and sneaky.
Glad to post this sterling review regarding my Riverhead Nissan Service visit on Veterans Day earlier this month, as I unreservedly recommend them without hesitation. My 2017 Sentra Nismo had been financed & purchased there last year, and this was my first time back (12 expressway exits away) since getting just an oil change & state inspection elsewhere, much closer to home, in the interim.Reasonably expecting to park outside upon arrival, likely to encounter a busily occupied waiting room & service desk soon afterward, I was quite pleasantly surprised to be welcomed inside *directly* (drove right in!), just as my unnecessary attempt at backing into a parking spot was barely underway, and to find only one other customer/family in the service area *already being taken care of*, simply waiting on their vehicle (to be finished with). :^)Donna not only coordinated my entire visit at the service counter right from when I first met her, but also was welcoming & assuringly informative as she did so, answering all the questions & concerns Id expressed to her the whole time, as I availed myself of the complimentary coffee and HD Vets Day parade coverage (on WABC-TV) there in the clean, comfortable waiting area. As my car was being taken care of, Donna provided customer service in a friendly, professional manner. :^)Not only was I greatly relieved when told my brakes werent nearly as worn down as Id thought (from how they first sound when still cold before use), Eric, the assigned automotive maintenance technician voluntarily took the time to show me both sides of the rotors, whats substantially left of the pads, and the condition of the tires (with my car still on the lift!), in a confident & firmly assured manner. :^)Though thisd been my primary concern, Donna told me both my I-Key (lock remote) batteries were being replaced at no cost (as theyre covered by Riverheads dealer warranty), and a complimentary multi-point inspection was being done in additional to the look at the brakes Id asked for... :^)In fact, there was no out-of-pocket cost for my entire hour-long visit that day! On top of that, Donna informed me my front floor mats were vacuumed and even stamped my $0.00 invoice to become a voucher for a free hand-wash for my Nissan. :^) :^)Truly, an exemplary first experience -- Im certainly heading back there for anything beyond a gas tank fill-up, because its decidedly worth the trip. No guesswork to deal with anymore for your Nissan... Way to go Team Riverhead!!!
This was the WORST experience I have ever had at a car dealership. They try to cheat you out of money every way they can. They overcharged me $500 on my contract and refuse to give it back. They never answer the phones and are very rude and disrespectful. Everyone has a different story when talking to them. All BS. I highly suggest going elsewhere. I will never buy another car from here.
Just like anywhere you go, there are good eggs and bad eggs ... And unfortunately the bad eggs at Riverhead Nissan really messed up. Turned in my leased vehicle upon expiration of the lease. Two months later I received a collection notice from Nissan Finance. The dealership still had the car (they were in the process of repairing a leaky sun roof when I handed in the keys) and neglected to notify Nissan Finance. Thank goodness for the strong, no-nonsense woman I connected with at Nissan Finance customer service. She wouldnt let the dealership off the hook and made them provide a dealer at fault letter to Nissan Finance to erase my past due balance. Unfortunately, the past due balance got reported to the credit agencies, so Im still working on that!
Went to have a spare electronic key made a few years go and they neglected to tell me I needed my old key and tried to stick me with another charge to fix it until I complained. More recently I was contacted about a trade in promotion but I couldnt get a new car at the time . A salesman kept calling me back somehow forgetting all of our previous conversations every time he called I eventually had to tell him to quit harassing me to get the calls to stop.
Nothing at all when you call with your problem of your 2016 Maxima car and get same day service with a smile from the whole staff you can not complain you feel your car is in good hands. Donna that works at Riverhead Nissan please tell her Penelope and Chris appreciate her professionalism at all times
3 stars because the work was done and problem was solved. Zero points for customer service and communication. I wasn’t offered a loaner (or rental) and was not provided clear communication on how long the repair would take. Also turns out my repair was done a full 24 hours before I was notified since my assigned service rep was off???
We all know auto problems/repairs is a stressful, costly and highly inconvenient experience. My car had a belt replacement issue that local mechanics just could not figure put after several times of having to have it towed back. They were honest to at least put in the towel and had it towed to Nissan Riverhead dealership. Repair Department’s expert advisor Donna made this agonizing experience so much more bearable that it was almost pleasant as any car issue could ever be. Being a drop in case and my rental cost adding up, she made such an effort to get a mechanic on my case and within a day, they pinpointed the major oversight of my local mechanic and kept me throughly informed throughout the process. What I ended up paying was not cheap as expected with such a major problem, but for the quality of work, efficiency and expert customer care Donna provided, it saved me in extra rental costs and most importantly got my life back from that “hold” you feel when you are just wanting your own car working well and taking you safely while you do your life! Proof that it’s freat to have a local mechanic, but with such issues, taking it to the source of knowledge saves you so much more headache and dollars in the long run. My second great experience with Nissan Riverhead!
I leave in North Babylon, New York, and the reason I use Riverhead Nissan is because of the outstanding service provided to me. I have never had any problems with this dealership. Donna who works at the Riverhead Nissan Service Department, is an excellent individual. Donna knows how to take Care of the customers with dedication. Promote ahead of others. Thanks again
Great service at a great price. The main guy I felt with, Patrick, was an immense help, knowledgeable about his cars and prompt with getting back to me ASAP. I would definitely recommend and can’t wait for my next car because it was so easy this time around.Thank you ALL STAR AUTO GROUP!
This dealership will never go out of their way for the customer. They are focused on one thing and that is to make money. Customer satisfaction is way below them. The only way this dealership would help me out was if I agreed to give them a perfect score on their survey after I purchased the lease. Even after I did that. They still screwed me over! NEVER lease or buy from this dealership! No one there will ever go out of their way for you! They will only try ways to screw with you to better themselves!
This is the second car I bought from Riverhead Nissan Hyundai. Ill go back again! This is an awesome dealership. Professional, knowledgeable, efficient and courteous staff. I enjoyed the whole experience, given that this could be stressful for some, It wasnt at all. Their friendly manner made this a piece of cake.
My husband & I went to the Riverhead Dealer Ship because we previously purchased our car from the same salesman’s & our family as well. However this dealership is very unprofessional. They tell you one thing & do another. We purchased our cars maintenance plan from them & they never told us we wouldn’t be able to use it at the dealership near our house (however with our other car we were able to go anywhere) They knew we lived 45 minutes to an hour away. Meanwhile we paid for the services twice because they charged me at the dealer plus we were being charged every month with our car payment. We made a huge mistake by being loyal customers to the salesman & this is what we got in return. They lost themselves customers & left us with an extremely uncomfortable feeling about the whole situation. Never again are we buying anymore cars from Nissian. Thank you for not returning any of our calls (They only call you when they need you to make them more money by filling out there surveys otherwise they never call you back when you have an issue or questions.) & thank you for not refunding us the money we paid you twice or even being honest. You lost yourselves loyal customers. If you are able to go to any other Nissian that values you as a paying customer please do so. Riverhead Nissian is very disappointing.
I am giving this riverhead nissan a 1 star. I am a Nissan owner and my family has had nissans for decades. Ill start off by saying I will never be back hear to buy a car from them. Only reason they get one star is because they sell nissans. They did not want any part of my extended warrantee e, mind you it was a few months out because of covid. Basicly blew me off, lost paper work in service and attitudes as soon as I asked to pick up my vehicle . Very unprofessional on every aspect and they DO NOT know how to deal with customers let alone talk to customers in any basic manor. Save ur money and go to Smithtown nissan or 112 avoid this scam stealership.
We have been using Nissan Riverhead Service to have our car worked on for the past year with no major issues. Last week Sunday our cars battery had died so we left the vehicle at the dealership and threw the keys in their night lock box. The keys vanished and were never found. Supposedly they only have cameras on the outside of the building not the inside so we will never find out what happened to the keys. The most infuriating part was their approach to the situation which was to blame us for probably not leaving the keys in the lock box and the keys are probably in the car,or in one of your pockets. They offered no help nor did they offer to give us a new set of keys to avoid anything happening to the car. Needless to say we filed a police report. Extremely poor customer service and will never use them again in the future.
Ken Koos was extremely helpful with the purchase of my new Nissan Rogue. He listened to my needs carefully and he worked with me to be able to meet them.He never pressured me as so many salesman tend to do which I was very grateful for.I would highly recommend Ken to anyone looking for a car.Hats off to the whole staff at Riverhead Nissan for making my visit a pleasant and quick one .And Kenny I love my Rogue! 😊
All I can say is wow! Great deal and fast! Kenny K was my salesmen and I have to say he knew everything about the 2017 Rogue he picked out the perfect color for me and the amazing tech package and the price was a deal of a life time! cant wait to come back in 3 years and buy my next truck!
My 2009 Nissan Versa was brought in to Riverhead Nissan on 9/20/18 to address 2 open recalls for airbags and front springs. It was also requested that diagnostics be run for a possible transmission problem which only occurred when it rained. Recalls were done, and it was reported that the valve body in the transmission needed to be replaced at a cost of $2600. It was also reported to me that after a full inspection the transmission itself was in good shape. It was replaced after the part was first sent to the wrong dealership twice, and once the wrong valve body was sent. I paid in full. When the car was returned it seemed okay. When driven 15 hours later in the rain the same issue re-occurred. Nissan Riverhead was contacted, and at my expense it was towed back to the dealership for inspection. It was then reported that the engine harness needed to be replaced due to corrosion and no further information was provided by the Service Manager, only that this had nothing to due to the work that had been done on the valve body and it would cost an additional $1800 to repair. The report provided showed that the L34 connection from engine harness, directly to transmission was faulty. This connection I assume had to be disconnected when the valve body was replced. The car was then towed to a mechanic at the my expense. The mechanic discovered that while the L34 connection to the transmission may have had some corrosion, the male connection in the transmission itself was damaged with 3 broken pins. The mechanic told me that the only way to repair this was to again remove the transmission!!??? How could this not have been seen when the car had been brought back? Was the L34 connection forced in thereby breaking the male connection on the transmission?? I have pictures of both. I now have a car that has a new valve body but does not run due the male connection on the transmission being broken. I am not asking to get something for nothing, I only want my car to be usable. Can someone assist in this matter as my calls are not being returned. Please help.
Very upset with the Nissan service department. Every time I bring my Xterra in for a routine oil change, there is always something additional that pops up needing replacement. The last two services I have not received the multi point inspection printout showing the wear levels, now after my routine visit just two months ago (about 750 miles later) I have a rattle noise when my Xterra is in idle. From the reading I have done, it seems to be the heat shield that may need replacement. What angers me, is that this was not noticed in July when I brought my car in for service.
After being a loyal Toyota for better than 18 years, I was totally screwed by both sales and management in trying to get another new car. Riverhead Nissan was super with the sales and attention they afforded me in getting a new car. Within 2 days they had me set up with my brand new Altima. Hats off to Riverhead and to Hector, my super salesman!
I was looking for a long time to find a car.Been checking on line and also have gone to a couple of dealers.Where I was turned down because of my credit score. But one day I received a letter in the mail from a company that works with people like myself and sent me to Riverhead Nissian.Frank the salesperson who helped me was great.Within a few hours I left there with my new car. Thanks Frank and to everyone at Riverhead Nissian. If you looking for a car see Frank.
Service Rep insisted a flushing of brake fluid was necessary due to the sophistication of my Nissan Rogue. I explained I have owned over 50 automobiles and never had my brake lines flushed! I consulted with my friend who is a Ford Certified master mechanic and he explained the brake system is closed and is free from contaminant invasion. I will concede the Nissan manual states it is suggested it is reccomended at 30K. My Rogue has under 20K! I will complain to Nissan and NYS FTC.
I love Nissan in Riverhead. Took my car with no appointment in. I didnt wait an hr. When they gave me a rental and told me come back tomorrow. Thank you to Ken &Sabrina. I always have been treated with up most respect. Being a veteran of US Army I really know what respect is. I dont use that word lightly. THANKS AGAIN NISSAN..Susan Tarulli. September 28,2018.
It was nice... staff was helpful.... knowledgeable....So far.... first time there but noticed one thing that no was trying to push something on me like usually when one goes to the dealer with an older vehicle like mine they are pushing things left and right...planing on going back for all needs of the vehicle.
What a great experience. Ed Kennedy was our sales guy, Winston was our finance manager. Riverhead Nissan is a Class Act. Do not go anywhere else. No games no hidden fees just true professionalism. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a car Nissan or not. Love Riverhead Nissan
Rogue in for oil change / tire rotation / ms donna harrison wrote up my service paperwork and answered all of my questions in a professional manner as usual / donna is a true asset to riverhead nissan and a reason why i purchase and service my vehicles at that dealership . please thank donna for me . the premium amenities which were available in the waiting room were delicious / thank you again
At first, everything went well. That was until I had their service department touch my car. I noticed a blue scratch in my roof rack, brought it into dealership. Also alerted them of scratches on surface of hood amd adhesive still stuck to hood and chrome plating inside. Manager came out to inspect and asked me if it was purchased used. Explained to him I bought it 7 days ago with 0 miles. Seemed dumbfounded. They took it in to replace that day. They called me 30 mins before they closed and expected me to make it there on time, knowing I live 30 mins away. Went to pick up and service department was closed, took keys and left. When I got home, I noticed deep scratches in my chrome paneling and alot of mud on my passenger floor. Took pictures. Called and was told by service manager that he personally inspected car and pretty much called me a liar. Sent pictures to them and was told they would replace chrome at no cost. Waited 4 weeks for the parts to come in. Went to have plating fixed and was told to wait as it would only take an hour or so. 2 1/2 hours later, they told me the plate was not lighting up and to take a rental. Never received a call that day until I called. Was then told that the car would not start. Why wasnt I told that from the get-go? They blew out my body control module. Then told it would take 24 hours for part. No call the next day until I called and was told part did not come in but would be in on Monday. No call Monday. Then waited another week without my car. They never called with updates, I called everyday. Finally fixed. I got home and power windows were not working. Didnt even want to call this horrid service department. I researched how to reset windows and did it myself. Window works. I will NEVER go back there and urge others to be careful. They have no respect for vehicles or for customers. While all this was going on, I called numerous times to speak with management, to only be given voicemails and never receieved a call back from anyone. Spoke to floor manager who seemed appauled by what happened in service department and was told that I would receive call to set up meeting with manager, never happened. I just went to another Nissan dealership further away (not owned by same guy, I figured if one he owns is incompetent so is the other) and the service was impeccable. Service guy asked why I didnt return to Riverhead and drove further. I explained situation and he was just as appalled. They had me in and out in less than an hour for my 5000 mile service. Judging by his face, I promptly placed complaint with Nissan directly. Received call to discuss further and she said she will urge Riverhead to reach out, but I wont hold my breath. This car is brand new and due to their extreme negligence and improperly trained staff, it feels used.
This experience was less than stellar. First off condition of the vehicle was unacceptable. Dried up wax left on the vehicle. Finger prints all over the trim, windows and body. Salesman man took care of some of it after I complained about it. I had to get the car detailed myself.Even though they had the trade in information from earlier in the day including VIN number, they did not tell me of any problems until I was in the middle of doing all the paperwork. I was completely blind sided by this issue and came very close to becoming a deal breaker.
I went to the dealership with my daughter this morning. Was greeted by Raj the moment I opened the door!I have to say I’ve NEVER EVER had such such a pleasant experience at any dealership I’ve ever patronized!!He was very knowledgeable, and I highly recommend this facility if your looking to purchase a vehicle!
I must agreed with all the unbelievable horrible reviews for Riverhead Nissan Dealership!!! I called the dealership on Martin Luther King Day, Monday spoke to a Salesman in Sales Department, gave him exactly the car I was looking to purchase: 2018 Nissan Maxima Platinum, which he NEVER call me back, so I called later the next day and still NEVER got him on the phone but was tod that the Dealership was very busy, which I understand but today is Thursday still NO call back, very rude, not professional at all!! Please know, Im glad not to do business with a Dealership who treat a New Customer like this wishing to do business with them. Riverhead Dealership is not worth my time, money, would not recommend this Dealership to any of business associates, family or friends what so ever. I will recommend that Riverhead Dealership get a PR to cleanup this Dealership from top to bottom training their employees to be professional to know that selling a car is NOT all that matter to make a sale but to gain New Customer giving Great Service & Support with Honesty being Professional at all times making sure your Customers feel that this is not just a Dealership but becoming part of the Dealership Family that you had a great experience in the purchase of your new car from beginning to end and doesnt stop there but as A New Customer will keep doing business for years to come. I hope the President of this Dealership will take my review in account to make major changes are needed because your Dealership is Losing Money instead of Winning Valuable Customers!!!!!
In general the whole building feels like a mismanaged mess. If you even walk on to the lot prepare to be harassed with survey requests for months after you leave. The service department is ran by the most unpleasant, unprofessional, person Ive ever seen with the title manager. The mechanic and advisors seem to know what theyre doing but management will scream at them from across the room in front of customers or just scream at the customers. This place is wacky, Id rather walk everywhere I need to go than go back there for a car or service.
I walked into Riverhead Nissan after visiting perhaps a dozen dealers. Id never driven a Nissan, never considered leasing one. Several hours later after spending time with a great salesman and and equally great insurance woman, I drove out in a brand new car which I love. If you want a car at a great price and like to deal with great people, I highly recommend Riverhead Nissan.
None they cover all the areas. Nissan service really make u fine like home. They smile, sweet, answer ur questions help u understand what they r going to do on ur car and what u need the next time u bring it back. I can’t speak for others Nissan service but Riverhead is the best
Go to any dealership but this one. Bought a brand new 2017 Nissan Rogue in June of 2017. Rear lift gate broke and wouldnt latch closed. Brought the car to the dealership had to wait a week for them to look at the car and tell me that its my fault the lift gate is broke and that it wont be covered under warranty because i drive around with a few cleaning supplies in the back. Didnt have the car for a full 2 years and the service manager tells me not to drive around with my cleaning stuff in the back. All the people at the service desk are rude, especially the service manager and defintly an unpleasant experience i wouldnt want anybody else to go through.
What a pleasant experience I recieved at Riverhead Nissan’s service station! Donna was so helpful and kind to me, she made sure to check on me throughout my entire waiting time (which was not long at at all). Typically I dred getting my oil change or any other related services but at Riverhead Nissian they make it so welcoming and fun- it’s like having a cup of coffee with a friend while you wait for your car!
Frank helped us purchase a Nissan for our nephew as well as helping us with our Nissan purchases in the past and is absolutely amazing. There is no other dealership we will go to because Frank is the best!!! If you are looking for a Nissan, go to Riverhead Nissan and ask for Frank. The whole dealership from sales to service goes above and beyond to help in any way they can!
Please take your nissan/infinit or any car that you need serviced a little further inland,I gave this dealer multiple attempts, in all honesty, the service manager just doesnt comprehend customer service, I am not going to go into the details but long story short - wasted my time towing a car to them, refused to work on the car because a 2011 was too old for them?, long story short horrible experience would not recommend servicing or buying a car from them, period.
Very rude, unprofessional. I came for a scheduled visit to this service point and I heard that there is no specialist - that is, I arrived in vain. The head of the service personally scheduled a visit for me next week. The day before the visit, I called them and found out that my visit was not scheduled. A complete lack of professionalism and any respect for the client. When I reported the matter to Nissan headquarters, after a few days I heard from the headquarters that the Nissan service point in Riverhead refused to cooperate with me and that I should go to the service in New York or Connecticut (!!!) Whose logo is on the front of the dealer in Riverhead ??? Nissan or some other company? The case is being resolved by the Nisan headquarters in the USA and by the BBB. STAY AWAY FROM THESE IF YOU PRESERVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY
Frank the sales associate at Nissan Riverhead went out of hisway to get me the best price on a lease. He explained all of the features that were on the Pathfinder. He was veey knowledgeable and patient with me, while I was deciding which vehicle to get. This is the fourth lease my family has gotten at Riverhead Nissan.
Saw a car online, called the store 20 minutes before it closed on a Saturday. Worked out a fair deal on the car. Paid for the car and it received in better condition than I expected. Hats off to Paris, Tom and the crew. This will surely be top of the list my searches when its time to add a new car to my family.
The serviced dept sucks. and im saying that in a nice way. i dropped my car off there tues at 7:45 am i call in the afternoon and donna told that they have not even looked at the car, so i said ok ill leave it there and pick it up on fri. i had to call them just to hear that they just brought in the shop at 12:35pm. she didnt have a answer for what was taking so long with my car. i knew the problem and the tech trys to tell me it was something else and was fighting with me about it. i work at apple honda and my tech find the problem in 2 min. i only brought it there because its a nissan, trust me when i tell you i will never go back to that place for anything. i feel bad for anyone that has to go there...
Previously financed a car with them and decided to trade it in after 3 years. Spoke with one of their salesman and was told over the phone to come in and that everything looked like it would work out. Drove all the way out there just to be told in a 20 minute span that nothing could be done and I would not be able to trade my car in without being in the range of $450 a month for any of there used vehicles (Which my goal was no where near). So I left and went to Smith Haven Mazda immediately after and after the hard work of their finance department ended up leaving with a 2018 mazda 3 BRAND NEW and paying in the mid 300 range. I felt let down by this dealer not to mention back when I got my nissan altima I waited 4 hours for the car to be detailed and at smith haven mazda they had it ready to go before I even got to the dealership.
The manager at Riverhead Nissan, Tommy Mammolito set me up with a great pre-owned Prius. I couldn’t have had a better buying experience. Purchasing a car can be very stressful but Tom and Raj made it so easy. I highly recommend this dealership and would definitely go back! Thanks guys!
I bought a car 18 months ago. At the time the service was great, I was told I could come back after 8 months to refinance my car, when there 5 months ago only to be told that they could not help me and that I needed to go directly to the credit bureau. I was very disappointed. I called them again, this time a very nice man told me that actually they could help me. I am very upset as I could have gotten this done 5 months ago when i first went it. Very Very disappointed and upset!!!
Donna at was extremely helpful in getting our Murano back on the road after a wheel bearing went bad. We were in town on our vacation when the problem began and Riverhead Nissan was able to quickly diagnose the problem and get it fixed. Thanks to the entire team at Riverhead Nissan for taking good care of us!
Went in to make a deal for the Nissan Leaf based of the PSEG rebate deal. We made a good deal, signed the Application and left a deposit while they secured me a Leaf. They called me back saying that it was sold out from under them but they would try to get more. Why they asked for a deposit on a car they did not have is beyond me.After a couple of days waiting, I got a call from Kyle who was friendly but advised me that the deal we made with the salesman (Mario) and the actual sales manager (Irving) was not valid. He explained that he was unable to offer me the incentive from Nissan along with the PSEG offer and they would need a lot more money down. How were those details not known even by the sales manager? This dealership is friendly but at the end of the day, not trustworthy or even knowledgeable when making a deal. Not worth the hassle and their online reviews reflect my same sentiments.
Recently my mother who is a senior citizen and the wife of a WWII VET went to this dealership to purchase a car. She came home with a 2015 car worth $10K with a payment of $464.00. Do not allow any loved ones to go to this dealership if they are a senior citizen because they will be taken advantage of. They gave her a choice of only 3 cars to purchase a car at the rate she was getting and then added items to the contract to beef it up. Save yourself and your family heartache and stay away from this predatory car dealership because the will take advantage of you if they can. So they told a senior that after 6 months of payment she could refinance with capital one... unfortunately they charged $4000.00 more than the car is worth so capital one said no. We found that they forced her to take 2nd warranty for $2000 while the car was covered under bumper to bumper already..
Terrible service very un professional very untrustworthySaling unsed vehicles with out passing new York state safety inspection with a lot mechanical issuesWasting my time And then they took the same exact truck and put it back in their inventory for the next person beware!!!
Thank you Riverhead Hyundai for making car shopping painless. Raj was great to work with , no hassle , no gimmicks . I’ve dealt with Hyundai dealerships in Medford and Islip and they were horrible. I swore I’d never go back. I will definitely buy again from Riverhead. Thank you again!
Stopped at Riverhead Nissan last Saturday (9/3/16 )to test drive a 2016 Rogue. Met with sales consultant Kenny Koos, he helped us decide which model was best for us and handled the sale quickly and professionally . We left the dealership a short time later in our new 2016 Rogue. Everyone at Riverhead Nissan from Kenny in sales Ray the manager and John in finance helped to make this a pleasant experience.
These people are crooks!!!! They change loan agreements after you pick up your car and drive it for almost THREE WEEKS! The GM Vinny is very rude and disrespectful. He likes to curse and threaten people to get what he wants because he doesn’t know how to run a business. Shame on the guy who ever gave him a store to run. Terrible place!!!!!! Zero stars is more like it ! The car was returned in the end and I would never do business here.
Thank you Sebastian from Riverhead Nissan I had a late night issue with my Nissan he was able to fix the issue and reassure me and put my mind at ease about the issue I was having, I will always be recommending people to see him specifically from now on 10/10 service 5/5 stars I cannot leave a more positive review for Sabastian or Riverhead Nissan
I went here with my friend who is a first time buyer. The first salesman we got was rushing us the whole time. We told him we didnt know how much my friend could pay monthly on the car until we knew how much tiger insurance for it would be. Vinny convinced us to see if he was approved for a Used Honda but Vinny wanted us to get a New Nissan instead. My friend filled out an application for and put down $100 on the Honda. The next day we got a call saying he had good news, my friend was approved for the Honda AND the Nissan and to come down to talk. We got there and they were only trying to get us the Nissan. They said it would cost less per month etc. So they told us the monthly payments which were extremely high (which we knew theyd be because its a new car and much more expensive -by $10,000- than the Honda which is why we were only interested in the Honda.) We told them we still didnt know how much insurance for it would be. At this point tyre first salesman left. We were handed off to another salesman Kenny. We called and got quoted. Together with the insurance the car was too expensive per month for my friend (which we expected) so we asked for the monthly payments on the Honda and they said he hadnt been approved for it (even though we only came to talk because we were told he WAS approved for the Honda). We asked for his $100 back. Now Kenny starts lying and telling us someone else was there to buy the Nissan and now was our only chance to get it (even though its a brand new Nissan at a Nissan dealership. So they only have one? I cant find the same one at another Nissan dealership? Yea ok.) We had the owner come tell us hed pay the first 2 payment of the insurance if he got the car. We said no the car is too expensive. Kenny is still trying to convince my friend to get the car (You simply cant get anything else cheaper unless its a piece of crap etc. He didnt seem to care that spending $800+ on a car wasnt in his budget) We had the general manager come over and ask if he could lower it to something he could afford. We said no the car is too much money. He then proceeded to get angry and ask us how dare we come in without doing our research about insurance. I told him that we didnt want the Nissan this whole time we were only interested in the Honda and that we just wanted the $100 back hed paid. They told us We have to wait until Monday and stormed off. They then proceeded to storm around and complain about is wasting their time to other workers. I am astonished by what happened here. I will NEVER go back to another Nissan dealership in my life. I cant believe this is how they treat first time buyers. They were trying to SCARE him into getting this car. They didnt care if he had the money for it or not.

2021-12-23Perfect experience!Very attentive and polite staff. I arrived four days before Christmas and didnt expect the car to be ready before two weeks. My pathfinder had a serious issue with transfer case. I had an emergency and asked to speed up the repairs if possible. The station employees were sympathetic and returned my car to me within two days with new case installed perfectly! I would like to express my gratitude to the team. Special thanks to Service Consultant Donna Harrison. I would recommend this dealership to anybody.

2022-02-24Alexis Maxwell was absolutely amazing and worked with me to find a car that was a good fit for my life and budget. The finance manager, Mr. Maxwell, was also incredible and made leasing a seamlessly easy experience. Thanks to Alexis and Mr. Maxwell, I was able to drive off the lot with a brand new Nissan Sentra and I could not be any happier.Thank you Lexi!
