Very quiet and peaceful most weekdays. Weekends are busier. Clean restrooms are heated during the cold weather. Grounds are well kept. Park employees are usually on site. Views of the Hudson River are stunning! Lots of parking and picnic tables and benches.
It was so peaceful, relaxing, with a cool breeze on a hot day. Very quiet even though people had an event under the pavilion. Nice and clean, shade trees, picnic tables and bbq grills, and benches. Lots of seagulls to watch too.

Really nice little park. The playground wasnt much, but it was well maintained. My 3 yo then entertained himself for an hour climbing on the rocks. Great views, well cared for, right on the water

This is a great spot to chill. The view of the Hudson is lovely. There are ample benches and picnic tables as well as a large pavilion and clean restrooms. The swings are wide enough for my XL tush which is EVERYTHING!!

Its always beautiful here. Minimal trash. Playground for kids to play on, area and space to go fishing. Feed ducks and geese, explore ecosystems, hiking and foot paths, veg out and go fishing. Its all here. Large parking area and pavillion

Great place except for low tide and extremely low tide.Clean quite small plus being a single dad of 2 hyper children it helps that 95% of the people there are nice.Plus as a bonus the staff there that mans the beach bravo .Above and beyond great job.

Perfect for large parties with a barbecue. The barbeque was large and there is a lot of seating. Its all by the water and the cost for reserving an area is relatively cheap.
Its a beautiful park along the waterfront. I had gone there for a graduation party under the small pavilion, an there was a car show for the Hudson valley Mustangs. It made the experience even better.
Its a very nice place. Quiet and pleasant place. You can fish, Bbq, play area for the children and you can just sit and relax and watch the boats.

This is a beautiful picturesque place, especially at sunset. Theres a pavilion, playground, basketball court, and a dock to watch the boats. If youre having a family reunion or church event, this is the place to have it.

Grew up going there my whole life what a great place right by the river view of the rhinecliff bridge across is the view of rhinecliff very nice place to Pavilions available for rent through the town of Ulster.
Rainy day, but we all had a good time under the pavilion. Nice place for a party outside.

I visited for a little get together and the scenery was amazing. Couldnt really find a down fall.

Beautiful park right ON the Hudson River!!! Nice bathroom, and areas of shade trees.
The boat ramp is the primary reason I use this park. It is well designed with good grippy surface texture and courtesy docks for two vehicle access. It is also usually on the windward side of the river so the waves are usually not bad. Plenty of parking and there are quite a few picnic tables along the river side. Theres a porta-potty, which is not something you would want to sit in.

This a very nice park along the Hudson river with playground equipment, a volleyball net with sand, accessibility. There is a large pavilion and a smaller one.

2022-05-11Peaceful wide open park with plenty of parking & places to explore. Plenty of handicap parking & a place for wheelchairs to sit by the water is a big plus! Lots of areas to fish make this a great spot to spend the day taking it easy.

2021-06-28Excellent place to relax and enjoy a picnic lunch or just to relax and watch boats on the river either way you will enjoy the stay. Bathrooms are very lean. There are places to have larger parties. The park has swings for younger children basketball court . Very nice , very clean excellent place to bring the family.

2022-06-09Very nice waterside park. Plenty of parking, playground, open space and bathrooms. As with many public places, not everyone is considerate of their loud music. But great place to sit, relax and have a picnic and then ice cream truck even stops by.

2022-06-19Plenty of tables, parking, space to run around, and river views. On-site attendant rule enforcer takes some of the fun out of pretty vanilla get-togethers - especially the No-Dog enforcement when the official park website says nothing about a dog ban.
