Dr. Kerr is extremely arrogant and has no compassion. I saw him 5 years ago. He recommended back surgery but he also gave me the option of a brace. I took the brace. He was fine with that. I have chronic issues but am completely mobile and functional. A few weeks ago I moved a certain way and something pulled in my lower back.The pain was excruciating. I couldn’t walk, move, and was bedridden. Trying to get an appointment was impossible. I agreed to see his Nurse Practitioner but the earliest appointment was in a month. I was told the NP would call me in a week. They give the specific day and said I could get a call as late a 7:30 pm. I was assured she would help manage the pain for me and I assumed would set up MRI until I could see her. So Dr. Kerr is so busy you can’t see him and apparently the NP is so busy she never called. I called to find out what happened and all hell broke loose. Dr. Kerr called me. He yelled and ranted that if I had just done the surgery this wouldn’t have happened (NOT TRUE)! He was chastising and blaming me. He was so angry I was bothering him. I have been in excruciating pain . No help, no compassion, and no follow through with the office.

Dr. Kerr is an amazing Dr. with the best bedside manner that I have ever experienced. I have been suffering for over 6 years with back pain. I have been to several Doctors with no success. Dr. Kerr and his team took the time to look at my films and listen to my history. They developed a game plan and have successfully repaired my back issue. Huntington Hospital has an amazing staff. I was treated kindly by every nurse or assistant that was assigned to me. Life is good again!!!

Dr. Kerr is the most compassionate physician I have ever met. He has an extremely thoughtful and caring approach coupled with clinical expertise. I just had successful cervical spine surgery in December 2020 and I am forever grateful for my referral to his office. The staff is also wonderful with prompt follow up and great care. I highly recommend Dr. Kerr!

After 8 years of harsh pain many ( maybe 50 in 5 years) Epidural corticosteroid shots, L5 s1 discectomy surgery in 2017 Dr Robert Kerr decided to do a lumbar fusion TLIF on august 28 2020 and i was home 2 days later and i was walking the 3rd day monday august 31st he is the best HUMAN AND THE BEST DR, I HAVE EVER SEE AND OR TALK TO. simply the best person you can trust your back to.

Dr Kerr is one of the most kindest and nicest doctors you will ever meet. He has done my 3rd neck surgery and my lower back surgery. Him and his staff have been nothing but helpful in my situation. I totally recommend him if you need a neurosurgeon. You wont find a better one out there.Mary Beth

Dr. Kerr is thorough kind and patient. He is the 1st doctor In months to explain exactly why I am feeling the way I am feeling and to validate my pain. He also reassured me that with proper treatment I will get better.

Dr. Kerr is incredibly patient, especially for a neurosurgeon. He takes time to explain and answer questions. Clearly he is a skilled surgeon as well . Highly recommend.

The most compassionate neurosurgeon I have a met was wonderful with my mother and did a fantastic job on her lower back I would go to him for anything I read him 10 stars if I could there wasn’t a day my mother was in the hospital that he didn’t come and visit her
