Great beach and only $10 per car gets you access. Nice sand and dunes. It definitely gets crowded during, especially during weekends but its still awesome.
Disgusting! The ticket guy is so rude. He literally ignored me and said nothing when I was trying to ask a question. He was so hooked up to his headphones and he didn’t say a word. And all because of a shark, the beach had to close and there were no signs anywhere. Will not come back to this field.

Just a nice beach on an unfortunately cloudy day.The sun will come out tomorrow...or so the song says.Weekdays are much less crowded.Cloudy or rainy days are even more so.This is truly a special place for what it is and for what it is not.I love this place.
Robert Moses field 2 Beach was very nice and peaceful. The ambience and the people around us were friendly and calm. There is a shopping center here where they offer food, ice-cream, water, juice, and other stuff you might need during a beach day. The men and women restrooms are also close and the showers. The waves were just perfect the day I visited. I would definitely recommend this beach to anyone living within driving distance or anyone visiting from another state or country. Since there is no boardwalk here just one big golf course near this beach, this might be why this beach is not as crowded as the others in this area. I personally prefer a non crowded beach.
Spacious parking, easy to find. I really enjoyed this beach. The bathrooms need an update and a good cleaning. They were rusty (I guess because of the salt) annnd super dirty, this was at 11am.
Has big waves and so much fun. But visitors not following covid-19 restrictions in the beach. They can easily settle down to yourside.

Its very clean, nicely managed, life guards were on top of things.Bathroom were clean.Waters a little want but nice. Ample parking and close to beach.
Its a really nice place, Parking fee is only 10 bucks, people are nice, the beach is beautiful. The restaurant is closed but thats understandable. Overall i really recommend this place to anyone who just wants to enjoy a nice beach.
I normally love Robert Moses Beach but after yesterday Im disappointed in them and their policies. They have a no alcohol policy which they do not enforce. They also allow glass bottles onto the beach. There were dozens of people in our little area blatantly carrying glass beer bottles on the beach. I dont care if people drink but I do care if they leave glass on the beach. If the state park doesnt care about alcohol then change the policy and make rules that protect beach goers. I contacted the park office and they told me they clean the beach every morning so I shouldnt worry. Ok fine, but what happens if my child gets cut between 1pm today and tomorrow morning when you clean the beach?

It is normally the quietest place, not too crowded and offers pristine beach time!! SUNDAYS are a bit different....Lots of activity, families, and the occasional BOOM box crowd... Which can be annoying, but just ask to turn it down and most are respectful and do so!...
Miss my LI beaches. People did a great job distancing and respecting others. Good services and clean beaches.. only negative is that Covid closed the showers!!

Its beautiful and peaceful, but they need tarps down every opening, we have coolers, kids, strollers that is very difficult to pull in sand , if they did that, it would be perfect !!

There is wifi but it doesnt work. No cell towers either which really stinks if you are on call for work. This year the area of beach near the water was full of rocks and shells. Probably because of storms.
Great, only $10 entrance and good vibes really calm. The waves are strong though. Some surfers went specifically for that
Again a good place to go for the long walk the Democratic point on the ocean and come back on the bay got to be up to it it can be stretch on your body in mind but beautiful boats in the inlet good fishing wild animals golf baseball tennis of course swimming Kitty Park showers refreshments

Horrible place,is not the same as it uses to be years ago,99% of people werent wearing masks and its not reinforced by stuff,also people drinks and smokes weed all over and no one seems to care,if you are an adult alone that is fine but if you are bringing your kids stay away from this beach

Could be a lot better. The concession stand felt so disappointing! Where do I start. Oh! Was hungry wanted to grab like a combo fish n chips right? After all seafood/beach helloooo! Well I was talked out of it by the clerk taking my order and told very small pcs fish and ... While I appreciate being talked out of a bad deal I mean really. Ok so I decided to go for JUMBO hot dog now Im thinking ok like Nathans at Coney Island ! Not even close. Was very disappointed that it wasnt beef (not sure what it was) like I said was hungry . but it was so SMALL not JUMBO at all. Ok so I like beer. Ok wouldnt be DRAFT but not even 16 oz bottle but a 10 oz CAN of BLUE MOON at that! I felt lied to and cheated out of the almost $20 it cost me. Very poor mgmt no interest in actually pleasing customers...just BLAH! Well serves me right for not bringing my own. They have Bbq pits and picnic areas. So Thank you for vowing never to show up without my own refreshments.😕
Love this place but dont go to field 1 or 2 come to number 3. Because if you go to to the other two Fields you will find. Some very racist State Park ranges.
Fun place to go with friends. Definitely drive further out to the farther beaches, youll find more parking and less crowds.

If you like waves, waves, waves in which I do, Robert Moser State Park is the place to go. Will definitely be going back before summer is over with.

2020-06-29Nice afternoon at Robert Mosses as usual. They have started charging $10 admission again to non Empire pass holders. The cones remain in parking lot every other spot for social distancing. On the beach everyone respects the social distancing as well. We even saw a couple of 🐬🐬 Dolphins.

2019-08-30Good place to have fun with family and friends. If your kids want to collect some sea shells this is the right beach. A little crowded though. So many seagulls, they steal your food if in attended. Theres also a restaurant which is good.

2019-07-14Its a crowded area. Your best bet is to get there early for a good spot. If youre lucky, you can get a spot by the life guard and the area where the bathroom is. Its a fun area to be in and you and the will have a good time.

2019-07-11Went in July mid-week it was so relaxing. Field 6. Mid-week less people compared to the mob on the weekend. Bring hand soap and toilet paper in case they are out. Some bathroom doors are broken so bring a friend to hold it close, just in case.
