I went to Nissan looking to purchase a new car. I was greeted very warmly by salesman Ahmad O, he walked me through the entire process in a friendly manner not a pushy salesman way. He is wonderful, if you’re looking for a great deal you gotta talk to Ahmad! Thank you once again!!
I was early for appointment but was seen right away. I was told that vehicle would be ready at a specific time and it was actually ready as promised. The service personnel was very polite and knowledgeable which is important to me.I was very pleased and planning on having all my future service needs taken care at Rockland Nissan
We had a great experience at Rockland Nissan! Kenny was our salesperson and he was very professional and helpful. Usually going to the car dealership can be stressful but he gave us a great and smooth experience. Highly recommend Kenny 🥇!! We were also helped by Mitch in the financial area and he was also great, very knowledgable and accommodating! Many thanks to both!
I went in for an oil change. They did the proper checks needed for this service. They do offer a complimentary car wash, which i accepted but the service provided was bad. They did not dry the car properly. It left multiple water marks through out the car. Was very disatisfied with this service. Next time will not get this service even if it is free. Not worth it.
Buyer beware especially if you are a women. test drove a rogue. it was ok. not impressed. figured they would let me test drive others. nothing. just alot of waiting. no one asked me if i wanted to try something else. this was during the pandemic, they advertised credits and discounts. they showed me none. all of a sudden they are contacting my ins company trying to transfer my ins to suv i test drove???? what??? told them i didnt see any paperwork or anything, no incentives nothing....the sales guy was shocked??? finance guy comes over and says my payments were going to be over $600 a month???? rockland nissan are on my credit report as a hard inquiry with other financial companies to find the lowest % rate. cant get them off....tried
This was our 3rd stop of shopping for a car. At first, the salesman Derrick was nice enough to speak with us regarding a lease. He showed us a couple of cars my wife and I were interested in and answered a few questions. When we got to his desk, not much else was discussed as he was looking through his computer. At some point he left his desk and didn’t return for approximately 20 minutes. Didn’t say excuse me I’ll be right back…nada. We saw him at the managers area the whole time in which he was probably trying to speak to the manager but never informed us or never came back. Saw him a few times joking with staff while standing there so we got impatient and as we were walking out, we informed him we were leaving. No apology…nothing. C’mon man, you should be better than that. Be professional. It goes all looooong way. I would think you would want to make a deal during these tough times. Must’ve been a tough day for the salesman we had this day because if you read my other reviews, we struck out today… big time! 0-3
Edit: I have removed previous review. We purchased a 2017 Nissan Versa Note (pre-owned) in February 2021. In our original service appointment, there was a miscommunication and our service was not completed as originally requested. However, Nissan Rockland has since been excellent in their service, including completing a major service with no appointment and no charge (under warranty) all in a timely manner. Overall, this service department and dealer seems to be on the up and up and I definitely recommend them to other buyers.
I went in for routine oil, filter and tire maintenance and the service team actual found nails in two of my tires causing a slow leak. I received NO notification about this from the car so they also replaced the sensor. It was wonderful that they found those problems! That saved me a lot of heartache on the side of the road, I’m sure!
Initially spoke with Shelby about a car and it was sold. Reached out again and inquired about another Sentra. Put a deposit down and explained that we could not come and look at the car Saturday because there was a bad snowstorm and we live over 2 hrs away. Fine no problem, and we set an appointment for Tuesday at 930. Today, drove over 2 hrs, sat in the showroom for close to 10 minutes before we were even acknowledged. When we were finally acknowledged we told them about our appointment and we sat down. He left to go get the car ready for us, only to come back 10 minutes later to tell us there was an issue with the transmission and they could not sell us the car. At this point we were annoyed and he left again to go see what the manager could do and again we waited. We were ready to walk out after 10 minutes of sitting there, when he appeared with keys to another much higher priced sentra. We said to him that not for nothing but a courtesy call would have been nice being they knew we were driving from a considerable distance. He quickly got defensive, gave us an attitude saying it was not his fault to which I handed him back the keys, told him no thanks and left. Completely wasted our time, poor communication, not willing to even apologize for their mistake, and a classic bait and switch tactic. Do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere.
I bought a beautiful Nissan Murano right before Christmas and I dealt with some very helpful sales and service staff. Kenny Blair was my sales representative and he found me the perfect vehicle! Thank you to Bader and Dan as well as all the staff! They were all very professional and helpful.
JC at Rockland Nissan is the absolute best there is! We just leased our 3rd car with him (5th car at Rockland Nissan) and no one can compare to his customer service and attention to detail! We will never go anywhere else as long as JC is still there. He makes the process to lease a car so easy especially during this crazy time of Covid we were barely at the dealership we pretty much leased this last car virtually and when we showed up to pick up the car it literally took 5 min as he was completely prepared for us and he took every safety precaution! I’m telling you now go/call Rockland Nissan and ask for JC Daniel’s—-you won’t regret it!!
The staff was very friendly and helpful. I requested a loaner but did not end up taking it. Was quoted about and hour of wait time but was closer to two hours. Oil change was not as expensive as anticipated and my coupon was honored. Hot chocolate and courtesy car was a nice touch.
I had gone to another dealership and it was a terrible experience. Nissan Rockland was great. Ken worked with us, and we got what we wanted without a lot of red tape and nonsense. Really pleasant experience! Definitely going there again if we need another car for someone else in the family.
No one, including the general manager was wearing masks. Except for one in the show room.Other maintenance department wore masks as chin guards, under the nose, etc.When car was taken and brought back no none used PPE nor any other floor mats, seat covers or steering wheel covers.Car was cleaned but left wet.Took over an hour to do an oil change and tire rotation (even with appointment).The worse part was that due to lack of social distance in the maintenance waiting room, my son and I sat in the showroom waiting area. Only to be asked to leave by the general manager because the staff was going to start a meeting. My son and I were actually left in the cold as it was in the 30s that day. There was no accommodation, even if at least the manager were to say, let me have your car opened while you wait so you can wait in your car so you dont have to be in the cold with your son. That was not his concern.Unfortunately, I have seen a decline in sales area (hence why I did not purchase my last one there) now this experience leaves me thinking to go elsewhere to get a car next time other than Nissan.Very disappointed.
Salesman Tim Colmey is the man! He sold us a great deal on a Jeep Compass 2019 that he fought like hell for us to get, but the deal was truly amazing. This place is warm and friendly and We traveled from central Jersey to visit them. We are happy campers. If you meet Danny Negron the Finance manager, you wont be disappointed. Hes straight to the point and a stand out guy. Thanks guys!
My rogue sport that I lease is excellent and this is my second lease from here. However, this review will be for the manager Omar and an associate named Mitch. Unfortunately I dont think it means anything to be a customer to this dealership or to refer clients and be repeat business as family members of mine have also leased vehicles here via Bernie, who is a good salesman. But Mitch ran my social security number instead of my relatives when they leased a car earlier this week and offered me nothing to make it better (unless an attitude counts) and Omar offered me 1 measly oil change only after I asked - before hanging up on me when I was irritated that it will take 90 days for the unauthorized check to come off my credit. Like most people would be, I was a bit frustrated with the lack of professionalism and empathy. So I guess be aware that anyone with your last name can walk in here and somehow wind up using your social security number for the credit check lol. Omar asked me if there was a problem with my credit because its only a half point ...like its any of his business? Thats not the point - its that you had literally no business running a credit check on me. I called corporate because something tells me Im not the only one or wont be the last one this happens to.
2nd time bringing my vehicle for oil change and tire rotation. As soon as I got there greeted by staff member outside who took my keys for vehicle. Greeted again once I stepped inside customer service, the staff was great. Went to waiting room, very clean and presented well. Overall great experience.
Tried to change my profile name to my real name but cant. Anyhow the WORST experience with this dealership. I would most likely NEVER EVER purchase a car with them again. Everything just went south once I drove off the lot. I have couple of family members that have seen what I have faced and are turning the other way to purchase a new vehicle. On the other hand Omar ( manager) by far is the best, I must say. Mr. Mitch Gordon in finance seemed very sarcastic with his expressions when I was asking for assistance.During my experience with Rockland Nissan, I felt I literally had to be on top of every single little thing and Kept calling because my calls were not returned and my emails were not answered.
Not good by far. Made an appointment 2 weeks in advance for 11:45 AM on 7-15-21. I called the day prior to confirm, even after I received an email confirmation from them stating that my APPOINTMENT was at 11:45 AM. I even asked them when I called the day prior to call me if the appointment could not be kept, as I dont live around the corner and I was going to wait for it. Was told the oil change would be done in less than an hour. Anyway, gave the lot fellow my key fob and went in side. Told the car would be brought right in. At 12:30, I decided to take a walk around the lot and what do I see? My car sitting there. I go inside and ask what is going on? I am told that my appointment time is not really an appointment, but a DROP OFF time. This is not what I was told. The service guy asked me who told me this and I told then a woman in the service dept who answered the phone when I called ROCKLAND NISSAN SERVICE, which is the direct number for this location. The service guy said she should have never told me that. I have no control over what she says. Also, here is the kicker: Appointments are not made through a call center, not through the service dept. So, no one here, meaning at Rockland Nissan, made this appointment directly. This is what the service guy told me. So, if I have a vibration issue, then I have to return and pay for it and waste more time sitting around. Guess they looked at me and believed I just fell off the turnip truck. Just another dumb customer.All I came in for was an oil change for warranty. Had 4600 miles on the car. Asked if I wanted a tire rotation. I said no. The service guy was insistent, and that it should be done. I again said no, not yet. He said no charge it is part of the service. So, I had it done, but it really was not necessary. When I got home, I read the fine print on my receipt and it said CUSTOMER REQUESTS TIRE ROTATION WITHOUT BALANCE POSSIBLE VIBRATION AFTER SERVICE IS DONE.I NEVER REQUESTED THE TIRE ROTATION AND NOW, IF I HAVE A VIBRATION ISSUE, I HAVE TO RETURN AND PAY FOR IT. I did not want this in the first place.
Dishonest! I understand you guys need to make money and your strategy is to have people go to your store but you don’t lie to people over the phone and then let them come over and give a difference price. I literally waste one hour driving to this location and I have to pay my tolls for nothing. DO NOT GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP TO PURCHASE ANY VEHICLE!
Shady advertising and hidden fees!After finding a used vehicle on their website advertised for under 15k, I went to the dealership. After checking out the car and road testing it, and being told that the car was in perfect working condition, we went back to the office and sat down to talk about price.I was suddenly told was that there is a 1,500 fee for service and certification. I expressed that I do not want certification and the car was allegedly perfect. I said I want the car as it was advertised. After a cordial dispute over the 1,500 being mandatory, I was asked to make an offer for the car as-is.I offered 15k (several hundred over the advertised price) and the salesman asked for my credit card and went off to talk to his boss. A minute later the boss came and told me that I either have to pay the service fee or finance the car with them because they sell the cars below cost (yeah sure).I respectfully declined and said 15,000 is my last offer. The manager simply said Good Luck as I got up to leave.Less than an hour later they started calling me from the dealership and called me four times over the course of the day. I did not answer.The front office eventually texted me and said they would accept my offer. By then I already put a deposit on a similar vehicle elsewhere and at a better price. I would not have done business with Rockland Nissan anyway after learning about their deceptive pricing.The costs of making cars road worthy and ready for sale should be in the advertised price. And if certification is not optional, then that should be in the advertised price as well.
I brought my LEAF in for the techs to check out the backup camera. Even though it was working at the moment (it´s intermittently broken), they listened to me seriously, looked at the photos I had taken when it wasn´t working, followed my recommendations for what they should do at a minimum, and ultimately ordered a new camera for me. They also washed my car and charged the battery to 100%! Very happy!
Do not buy a car from these lowlifes. I bought a “certified” rogue on 4/19/21, on my way home the tire blew out scuffing up the rims. Within 10,000 miles the transfer case gasket blew, wheel bearing, door actuator and battery. I called consumer affairs and they told me they won’t do anything because it was my responsibility to do the whatever point inspection. Last Nissan I will ever buy. Never trust a used car salesman, especially these ones. Here is proof my tire totally blew out on a highway which could’ve killed me, and all I got was a too bad, we aren’t fixing anythingEdit: forgot to mention the chrome trim was already shabbily glued on and the front fender is misaligned. These people are the epitome of sleezy used car dealers.
I drove over an hour to get to Rockland Nissan to buy out my lease. I discussed the amount and manner in which I was paying. I was told everything was in agreement and would be the same when I arrived to complete the buyout. Not so!!! I was giving them 2 checks and putting $6,000 on my credit card (which I applied to a week before to qualify for 0% interest). When paying, Fred said he spoke to someone in finance and said I could only put $2500.00 on a credit card. Frustrated over this deception, I wanted to just leave and start the long drive back to Brewster, NY. The next hour was spent calling my bank & transferring funds from a savings account to my checking and then calling to get approval on a debit card (money I needed elsewhere, not for this car. If that wasnt bad enough, I was told there was a recall on my car and they would fix it while I was. Later I was told my car was ready. I was not even told what the recall was and there was no paperwork showing or proving any work was done. While driving home, I noticed my dashboard kept flashing for maintenance, tires and oil/filter. I didnt dare want to go back to that dealership ever again. Now I have to get my car serviced so the computer is reset. Also, I now have white spots on my tinted rear window that was not there before my visit. I have been a faithful Nissan owner (4 cars) for 12+ years and, if Nissan doesnt make acceptable compensation for my day in hell @ Rockland Nissan, this will be my last Nissan. Patti Smith
I purchased my car at this dealership and always have it serviced here the service technicians are always very helpful and honest and have always provided me with exceptional customer service. James Jones and Tim Durkin have assisted me in the past and both made me feel comfortable and went above and beyond in customer service. I do not live close to this dealership and there are other locations much closer to me but I always come here because of the great service I have always received. Thank you!
Came in looking to get rates for a sentra sv. Worked with Aaron, he was patient, answered all of our questions and worked with us to get a deal. Made sure we understood process and was very attentive. Financial director was also kind and patient, and informative of add-ons to the lease, like the tire and wheel protection. Overall great experience.
Bernie Drexler was beyond helpful with my purchase. He took care of everything in no time. From showing me the vehicle to connecting my phone and the cool new apps Nissan offers.. Very thankful for him going above and beyond for me with every detail. Paul Schmidt was a great help as well, paperwork was a breeze.Thank you Bernie and Paul. I love my new Rogue!
Bait and switch. Confirmed our appointment only to drive an hour and discover someone had put a deposit on the car — yesterday. Then they said the buyers finances were iffy so we should drive it anyway. We did. We loved it. Then they priced it out for us and it was $1,500 more — over 10%higher. They were not willing to honor the advertised price (but every other dealer we’ve seen has). We said to call if deal fell thru but we’d need to address that price. Deal did fall through. But after our salesman went to discuss the price with his GM, he came back to tell us car had just sold. Either slimy salesmen or the worst run business ever. Either way I wouldn’t trust them as far as I could throw them.
Went in to return a lease with the intention of buying it out for however much was agreed upon in the original lease agreement. Bernie was the person we were told could help us out (mask sitting on his chin, not covering his mouth or nose until he physcially got up from his desk). Got straight to business, asking for the registration. He asked if we had gotten the inspection done before returning the vehicle. When we told him no, his response was well you had more than enough time to do it. How professional! He wasnt sure why we didnt get it done ahead of time and made sure to verbalize that as much as possible. It was only downhill from there with the constant attitude and lack of decent customer service skills. He didnt even ask if we were interested in buying out the vehicle, or if we wanted to make a new purchase. He simply got the information he needed, had us sign a singular sheet of paper and called it a day. Not to mention when we got to the point of signing something, he felt it was appropriate to throw the pen at us as opposed to gently placing it down. Needless to say, we left with no car and will gladly take our business elsewhere. Extremely disappointed in the service received and will not be returning.
Well it was a great experience. In and out within 20 minutes. When I brought the loaner back I was treated like I was more than just an appointment, but like a friend who had a problem, and all they wanted to do was help. Love this place, just wish I lived closer to them
Had my car for 3 days. No call back about what the problem was even after leaving messages. Even for the mgr. No one knew if my car was ready or not. Tim was out friday, saturday and Monday and no one else seemed to know about his clients-me. Lastly my garbage receptacle was not in my car when I picked it up. I called and left another message..call number 4, and still no return call. My car was not washed. Just a disaster. I usually have a great experience. But I usually wait for my car. This time the car had to be towed in so I was not present. So disappointing.
My 2nd lease with Rockland Nissan! And my 7th Nissan. Tina and Bader were incredibly professional, helpful, and worked within my budget. Quick, quick, quick! No run around! The entire team at Rockland Nissan (Sales & Service) is very knowledgeable, friendly, and courteous! Thank you!
Brought my first car (technically leased) from this dealership had a great experience with salesman Kenny Blair who helped me out a lot. Definitely recommend him, especially if your young and buying for the first time. Only problem was had to wait a while to take the car home because of the finance office

Everyone I dealt with provided me with excellent customer service. The dealership itself has a pleasant atmosphere. I had been to another dealer and left as it was unpleasant and they were very aggressive. The Rockland Nissan dealership was the exact opposite! It was a pleasure and a very smooth experience dealing with everyone there!

Bathrooms were exceptionally clean.Upon entering I was immediately greeted by extremely friendly staff who were willing to answer all my questions.Kenneth Blair handled my lease in 2019 and I returned to see him specifically to handle my second lease. As a returning customer I felt confident with Kenneth’s knowledge of all the vehicles in stock. When this lease expires I will 100% being either purchasing or leasing another vehicle from this dealership.All the staff involved were amazingly knowledgeable, professional and courteous. I have recommended this specific dealership to family and friends.

Jean, my sales representative, was extremely helpful and accommodating, which was refreshing in comparison to other dealerships I’ve been to. Everyone involved in the process was extremely personable and thorough. They answered my questions before I could even think of them. While finalizing everything, Omar and Bader were more of the same. They demonstrated outstanding service and made me feel like an appreciated customer. 2021-12-04I had the best experience at Rockland Nissan. When you go please ask for Kenny Blair. I highly recommend him, as he did an awesome job. Highly professional and took his time to make sure that I received the best deal. I had a lot of questions and he answered all with full knowledge and details.It made me feel at ease. I had to wait a few days for the color choice I selected, however on the day of my pick up, he actually came on his day off. I I have to say in these days and times you dont find customer service like this anymore. He is genuine and really showed his concern for me as his client. It was the best experience ever. Go and see for yourself. You will not be disappointed!

2022-01-07We got there 10 minutes before closing on the last day of month before incentive ended. We were treated excellent and got the price we wanted. Little haggling and we added extra warranty on lease. Super happy with staff but especially like to thank Kenny Blair our salesman who made process simple. Made us comfortable which I appreciate. 2022-06-01I have been in the Nissan family for many years, this is my 6-vehicle purchase with Nissan. I always recommend your dealership to everyone; I have an Armada Platinum now and I love the SUV. The hospitality and professionalism are awesome, from the beginning a customer calls the dealership to the end when all service is completed. I just feel a customer should be entitled to a complementary oil change once in a while. Otherwise, then I am very happy with my Rockland Nissan Dealership. Thank you
