People are ok. But the cooks have no gloves, touching their faces, nose, wiping hands to on t shirt than making food with filthy hands. I left that place right away. Didn’t even took my order. No time for bs but this place can be a bit safer for customers.
My Husband and I had lunch here yesterday. We were excited to see it in walking distance from the truck stop and with awesome reviews! The staff is very friendly and welcoming from the young ladies at the counter to the guys in the kitchen cooking! The food is very fresh and cooked to order which is what I loved! We ordered a vegetarian pizza, mozzarella sticks and wings. Everything was fresh on the pizza, the marinara sauce for the mozzarella sticks was delicious and the wings were perfectly cooked. I got hot wings but wish I had gotten mild because they were too hot for me but was still tasty and they are nice sized too! Prices were reasonable fyi. I’m a Floridian and never had NY Pizza until now and it was Great! If ever in this area again I will be sure to visit this establishment and I do recommend to others!

Ive got slices here for lunch before with mixed reviews. The first time was great which is why I went back three more times. Tonight I ordered two 8 cut cheese and two orders of wings. The dough was like rubber. I felt like I was eating a frozen pizza. The sad part is, Ive had frozen pizzas that have tasted much better than this. The wings were alright but definitely couldve been taken out of the fryer earlier. Guess celery and carrots are an extra charge or they plain forgot. Safe to say Ill not be ordering from here again.

It was easy to find off the highway. Seemed to be a real family place with good made to order sandwiches. My BLT grinder to-go had great crispy bacon, but could have used more (or thicker cut) tomatoes.
We stopped here on a whim after a bathroom break on a long road trip to see the grandparents. All of us got individual slices of cheese, pepperoni, meat lover’s, broccoli, and chicken bacon ranch. They were hot and delicious! The employees were polite. There were some outdoor seating areas, including on the porch and some benches with umbrellas nearby. We are adding this to our list of great places to stop on the way.
We love Romans. The stress I feel when they are closed is a real thing. Lol. Staff is always very nice and most of the time the pizza is fantastic.
Awesome pizza…. I had a veg pizza and it was excellent, crust was very tasty, well cooked and perfectly presented.All you guys need is more marketing for the quality you serve, i really wish to come back….I rarely take back leftover slice, here i knew i should take it for another eat….

Roll was not fresh on sub. Contents were good though. Pizza was chewy and tasted like a premix Italian herb from $ store! Nice place inside.

Pizza and wings. There are so many choices in this area but so many seem to produce thick Dough discs with low end cheese and thrown together without symmetry to share toppings on each slice. We have had pizza from this place a few times now and we are very happy with their products. The wings were cooked perfectly too!
I was traveling for business and we stopped on a whim-glad we did. Service was stellar-everyone was pleasant and helpful. The pizza was fresh and delicious! Definitely recommend it!!
Im from Brooklyn NY and this spot reminded of back home. The pizza was fresh so was the wings and Garlic knots. I wish I wasnt 45mins away frm the shop cause Id be in there everyday. Keep up the good food and service.
This review is based on pizza only. The first pie we ordered here was EXCELLENT! Sadly, the second one we ordered had a burned bottom and wasnt quite as good, were sticklers for un-burned bottom pizza! Well try them again and see what happens, since their cheese and sauce are quite possibly the BEST around!
OMG!! So glad we decided to grab food here. Walked over from the pilot hoping for some decent food...and we are not disappointed! Love their antipasto pizza. It’s spot on... we’ve tried several cuts of the pizzas and they’ve all been delicious. Totally recommend this pizza shop. Great crust, fresh toppings, and customer service is also excellent. Keep up the great work.

My new go to pizza place!! I’ve tried almost all their slices they have out as well as ordered delivery a few times. They have been amazing, from the food to the customer service.
I went for the Wednesday Night 2 for $10 Dinner Specials. I was not disappointed. The Meatballs and Chicken Parmesan were delicious. I would have preferred my pasta more cooked into the sauce but some folks arent looking for that. Overall my guests service experience was the best and I felt I was treated as a family member my 1st time walking through the doors at Romans. I highly recommend this remarkable institution. Thank you again for the excellent service.
We were excited to check out a new place in town and it was a huge disappointment. The chicken tenders were overcooked, my sub roll was hard as a rock and the curly fries were undercooked. My husband ordered the chicken philly and all he could taste was onions.
Just ordered here for the first time got a pizza, two orders of wings and a hot sub. Food was delivered quickly but there was no blue cheese or celery with the wings. Not sure if I misread the online menu but most places include them with any order of wings. Pizza was slightly undercooked to my liking but tasted good as did the sauce. Steak sub was also pretty good.
Ordered an 8 cut double cheese and pepperoni pizza. $24 and change delivered. Left dtiver $5 tip. About $5 more expensive than other places we order from. Very bland. Gave it a try...not for us.

Ordered a ceasar chicken wrap and large curly fries for $14.00.... It was the smallest wrap of any kind that Ive ever seen. There was no dressing on it which left the chicken extremely dry. The tiny little nacho cheese that came with the fries for an extra charge was ice cold. This is the second time Ive had their food and it was awful on both counts. I chalked the first one up to a mistake. Absolutely will not eat there again. Do not recommend.

Yes! If youre looking for authentic NY city style slices Romans is the place... simply awesome! Their hot and cold subs are also outstanding. Amazing and huge hearty sub rolls - lightly crusty on the outside and deliciously tender on the inside and well stuffed with quality meats, veggies and other toppings. Romans is sure to be your local favorite once you give em a try. This is a great new eatery near the Princetown/Rotterdam town line. Bravo, Romans Pizzeria & Deli ... delicious!!

How are you closed at 7:30 on a Friday? Every single owner of this particular building has failed miserably and I guess the current owner has the same plans... won’t be attempting to order from here anymore.I should add that I called 4 times over an hour the same night to order and just got a full answering machine. The slice app that you can order from also says your always closed. When I drove by later the same night (on my way to a different pizza spot) the store was in fact, open. Hopefully you can get on top of your ordering accessibility.

Ordered the 2 for $10 parmesan specials this week. While the sauce is very good, completely disappointed with the size portions. The size of the chicken parm was about the size of a softball and it was average in taste. The eggplant parm, while very good, was maybe 2 slices? Mostly just a pasta dish with both! Definitely will not be ordering again. I will stick with Lucias Two Go and Nikki Ps West.

Came up from NC to be with my son. An old high school friend told me about Romans pizzeria, it was very good food.
Ordered pizza, wings, and salads for a party and had it delivered. Was right on time and everyone at the party loved it. Pizza was delicious and wings were very meaty with a good sauce.
Love the subs. They are huge. And my favorite the Sals wrap. Luv it.Wings are juicy, smothered in sauce. Go there at least once a week. Recommend it highly.

Had the food so many times its delicous on wedsday you get 2 personal size dinners for 10$$$$ and on thursday you can get a dinner tray to feed 4 people... great customer service and very clean enviroment.. i highly reccomend

2022-04-25Food was fantastic! Customer service was also great. The only reason Im not giving 5 stars is due to the extra wait time on delivery which caused the food to be room temp when we received. So next time we may just order to pick up. Once again food quality and customer service was great!

2022-04-09Read the good reviews so I decided to try this place. Im a huge pizza lover. Got greeted as soon as I walked in. Very nice and polite. Clean place and very warming inside. Ordered the chicken parm dinner and 2 slices of pizza. Wow surprised with the great price. Pizza was delicious and the parm dinner looks amazing. Too full to eat it yet. Lol. If u stop at the pilot make sure u go get some food from them. I will always come back when I am in the area. Thanks for the delicious food .

2021-07-13Disappointed at the size of the calzone they gave us. We called and tied to have them understand that no other pizza place has this small of a Calpine for the price they charge. Reconsider your options when ordering from here.

2021-01-19Im an OTR Driver from Florida, any chance I get to test a NY pizza joint I do. This place is in walking walking distance from the truck stop next door. When I came in they were very friendly I looked at a menu and just decided on pizza, The folks that own and work this pizzeria are really nice people. It took about 5 minutes to sort of break the ice but once we did we talked the whole time I was there, really really good people that are here. Now I guess most importantly, the pizza! It was FANTASTIC! Im not a pizza connoisseur officially, so if I say it was a little light on the sauce it may be only because other pizza places are heavy on the pizza sauce. I thought the pizza that I had was perfect it was exactly what I love and I like to thank the folks again had a great conversation and had great pizza. Sorry about the photos I got a cracked lens on my camera.

2022-06-19I had previously said that it wasn’t as good as the other place up the road, but the first time I got it it was just a fluke. Excellent pizza, excellent Strombolis, and excellent calzones. The fries are just okay but everything else is great. 5 stars

2021-10-22This is the worst cheesesteak I’ve ever had 🙅🏾♂️ It literally taste like nothing there’s no season and it definitely wasn’t cooked on a grill or skillet, plus I go inside to get my food and it’s like a pizza party a bunch of kids I assume working in this small pizza shop eating pizza chilling without hair net gloves all around the food.
