If youre living somewhere in queens and want to do shopping but not in queens center mall. Then Roosevelt Field is a great option. It has shopping and a big food hall with a lot of choices. Its clean and safe as a lot of security are roaming around. Not to mention a huge parking lot outside some both outdoor and indoor. I recommend to to everyone to go visit this place.
Here is a little secret, the dining hall is crowded during the hours of 1-4pm with kids from school, especially Chic fil a, so order a head and eat outside where there is always space. This mall has all the high end stores and that side of the mall is pleasant and never crowded. I love to eat at True Food Kitchen and Le Quoident.Mall opens at 11am daily so dont expect the stores to have their mall entrances open. Plan accordingly.
Always enjoy shopping or browsing here. However I hear that people are stealing more often so safety can be an issue. Please be careful and stay safe travel with a companion if you can. Even the nicest places are having criminal activity and unprovoked violence and sometimes death. Sad but true. This place is still one of the safest places to me because its a community. Most people there know one another.
This was My first time visiting Roosevelt Field mall. This place is huge. You have to walk to the other side for the restaurants. We also went to Grand Lux. Its definitely bigger and has more stores than KP (kings plaza) They have a Auntie Annies on the first and second floor. Thats how big the mall is. They have a movie theater. KP had one years ago but they turned it into a Best Buy last time I checked.
Its been awhile since ive come here after all of this covid stuff but the mall is up and functioning as it should. Parking lots are always jammed packed but, that said, the circular setup of evacuation make for an easy departure. Businesses are trying to appeal to us and are doing the right thing. Overall, you really cant ask for anything more
Why are the bathrooms so filthy and disgusting when this is supposed to be a high end mall? These bathrooms have ALWAYS been filthy. It is nothing new. Other high end malls in the area such as Garden State Plaza and The Westchester have immaculate bathrooms. What is going on here? I almost want to vomit when I know I have to enter one of these disgusting bathrooms.
I absolutely love this mall.It was my first time here and I was beyond impressed ! Oh, and I’m a mall enthusiast, so yeah I’ve seen many types of malls and boy does this one stand out. So big, so clean, so many restaurants & food, so many stores. I love to shop, I went to some basic favorite stores like h&m, forever21, and Bloomingdales. Well, they have such a variety of clothing…who doesn’t love options and styles; I do ! A lot of high end stores, but you also have a good mix of the “regular” stores. It truly was a great experience. I haven’t had such great experiences with SIMON malls, but this one changed my thoughts !! I still love Westfield, but Simon has a place in my heart now. lol I urge you to visit this mall !
Absolutely worst mall in history. So after a shooting three weeks ago, I decided to go shopping for a shirt at Nordstrom. Out of the corner of my eye I saw a stampede of people and heard shots were fired. I am an ex first responder and never have I felt so unsafe in my life. This mall has gone to hell in a hand basket. Leave it to the gangs to shop at and just go to the miracle mile. Is it worth your life?
Worst experience ever. The so call manager Charles Campos should be fired. Customer come into that store for help. Not to have him called security and put out. Because he couldnt deal with the customer knowledge ofA Samsung product more than him. Yes I showed him my receipt,And I only had the phone for 5 months. And he said that he will not honor the time frame?
Retail is alive! Head to Roosevelt Field and see it in action. Folks want to get out and socialize and see the merchandise. Sales still motivate actions. Then stop and have a bite to eat! Still a shortage of staff at many locations, but for a change of pace, go to the mall!
This is not a reflection on the stores but in the security of the facility. A family member was hit by a car in the crosswalk into Bloomingdale’s and then to top it off driver backed up and ran over his foot hitting him a 2nd time and then left the scene. When I called the security office I was informed that the camera was not operational. There are three cameras that I can see and they have nothing. A crime was committed to a loved one and justice cannot be served. This happened on Thursday, May 5th, 2022 at about 11am. Whomever that selfish animal is that hit a loving grandfather and then backed up hit him again and left the scene will get their day. They got lucky this time because of the poor security in the mall. It’s a true shame.
Sunday 05/01/22 was the most terrifying and terrible day in my entire life. It was the last day of my Ramadan and I went shopping for kids to celebrate Eid ( post Ramadan Holiday). I had to run for my life after hearing Gunshots. Everyone was scared and I felt sorry for the families who brought their babies and young children. I will never ever go back there and I will share what happen everyday ……. What Happen to New York???? So Sad.
I will not say that is the best shopping mall but some sources (which you can find on Google) believe that one of the best.Huge but overpriced and not well organized .I with my family visited this place on previous Sunday. We came from Brooklyn. It was really crowded and I couldnt find some good activities for kids.Just one good thing about this place - really nice food court. I can find whatever you want - sushi, nachos, Philly steaks, pizza, burgers and so on.
Fairly renovated mall. They have a lower floor that could be updated, is ugly. Improvements were made and the complex is looking much better. Parking can be difficult at times. Good stores and restaurants. Some high end stores. Food court has plenty of seats and a good variety of food including for vegans. Indoor and outdoor parking. Great high end restaurants as well. Recommend this mall.
The lovely Mall ever in NY-Long Island, this shopping Mall grew bigger and has gone more high end than ever before. But still getting a parking space is always a problem especially on the weekends and holidays. There’s always something new from the last time I was here about 4 years ago. Today, it looks more lovely and many high end department stores are added like Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdales, Nordstrom, Chanel, Gucci, Kate Spade, the original Macy’s and JC Penny still stand stronger than ever. There are too many shops to mention but this mall has a US Postal Service open 7 days a week, Dental Service Clinic, Alteration service shop, bigger children’s play area and the food court is refurbished and looks more neat. The toilets however need to be upgraded, most of the cabin doors are broken and it is not so clean a lot of toilet papers scattered on the floor. I love coming back here when in town. I’d still recommend this place for shopping and dining.
If you have a mothers nursing room, how about having a lock that works, and definitely if you have a male cleaning staff, tell him not to STARE at nursing mothers after walking in on them - so inappropriate. Also inappropriate to not have working elevators in the basement of the garage - both were broken! Very disappointed.
I really love this place. Its a very big shopping mall. Lots of popular store under one roof . in the covid-19 time the mall opening and close time change but its ok for us . inside all store are maintain the safety issues . Restroom clean and lots of parking outside. Every store offer lots of discount. Its very importent for the window shoppers.Happy shopping .
Parking is a nightmare on a holiday. Place is really good with varied options of dresses and accessories.During holiday season the shopkeepers are very less in number which increases the delay in providing service. They really should recruit more agents at least for the holiday seasons.
Ive been going to this mall since I was a little kid. Although its changed a lot (in a good way) it still remains a great mall. You can pretty much get just about anything out there. Tons of stores to choose from, a good selection of places to eat, and a bunch of other great spots make this mall one of the best in Long Island. Not to mention its just a beautiful mall.
Many items are not labeled with prices and prices are not posted on displays. You can try and lookup prices on your phone from their website but the retail prices are not necessarily the same! Very annoying. Also very hard to find what you are looking for. Brands have there own section so if for example youre looking for shorts you have to go through numerous brand sections to find them.
This is the best mall in my opinion on Long Island . It is hugh mall and always fun to do shopping . Hugh parking lot but it gets full in the holidays. Mall has counter showing you in the entrance where empty spaces are in the parking lot . If you are living in 5 NYC boroughs then this is the mall to visit . It is very close to Eisenhower Park . Good Mall plenty of nice stores beside my shopping today I have breakfast in the District food inside the mall plenty of fast food vendors to choose from place very clean well organized Follow Covid19 regulations (just one thing lll like to mention hope people in charge see this comment) the magic cloth most restaurants used to clean the table chairs and anything in between the same that can be reused the entire day that one Have to change really specially now a days well hope you understand
Roosevelt Field Mall is the premiere mall for Long Island - Hands down. With so many retail stores closing recently it appears that these brands want to focus on only a few flagship stores in order to create more hype by creating an illusion of less supply by having less stores. What this means for Roosevelt is that this mall has continued to see the foot traffic and success for these brands to deem it necessary for Roosevelt Field to house one of these flagship stores. Its a very clean mall and staff is always willing to help you. Mall maps are conveniently located around the mall as well.
The service attitude of this restaurant is very bad, I want to go up and hit them. I just came here yesterday as a cashier and I found out that the tips given by guests only belong to this restaurant, isnt this bullying the staff? Is there any law? And the hygiene is very bad. The paper under their xiaolongbao dumplings is actually used again. Its disgusting. If it wasnt for me working in this restaurant, I wouldnt know. Why didnt the health department check it? What about their hygiene standards? I am thinking of everyones health! On the first day I went to work, I encountered a complaint from a guest: because it really shouldnt be charged, the guest will be charged for a glass of ice! This shop is really unscrupulous, disgusting Chinese, I hope everyone can help me report this xiaolongbao ramen restaurant
Nice place I like to visit it every day every day waking up and going to this fabulous place is a wonderful experience and I want to add on that this is a best place to visit and gather and meet new member and meet new people and come in contact with fabulous people day to day and some people make my day awesome and nothing but least come and visit this place ......
Always satisfied when I shop at Roosevelt Field. So many stores to choose from and shop at. The food court you have to be selective in choosing where you eat. Ordered 2meals from Sakura Japan, Teriyaki chicken, shrimp and fried rice, both my friend and I got stomach aches and were very sick that day. Dont think Ill be returning there to eat!
Crowded like there was never a pandemic and very busy High end mall.Has all the name brand stores with more coming. Seems like the stock is finally getting replenished. Bloomingdale’s appears to be moving upscale now with many more high end brands than previously.Do to the recent concerns of smash and grab crime the stores now employ these large intimidating cats as a measure of extra security!
My girlfriend and i was looking for a gold chain all around the mall .. after we walked in to helzberg not only we found a perfect chain also we was helped my bella and joel who gave us exceptional service from beginning til end. Will be coming back here for her engagement ring
Very huge mall. Has a lot of stores. Including VS, sunglasses hut, LV, Coach, Sephora, Macy’s, Dior, Lancôme, Channel, Pink, Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdales and so much more. Restroom was too small for Sunday crowd. A lot of people were shopping today. December 15.2019. Christmas soon.
A giant shopping mall, with some fantastic stores. I went to the lego store which is always stocked and is a must for kids both young and old. Also found the melt shop in the food court. The food was a surprise, I had a hamburger that was messy, but so good I didnt mind the mess. In fact, I ate whatever I could of the mess. I will definitely be visiting both stores again. The mall is a great way to get a workout, just by walking around. I also plan to walk the whole mall during Christmas when there are fewer people there, and of course shop (I will be wearing my mask and distancing). This mall is ever-changing, there are always new stores popping up. A great place to just walk, sit and read or to contemplate how lucky we all are.
A spacious shopping mall with a crazy number of stores ranging from high end retail places to casual boutique outlets. I went on a Sunday afternoon and it was crazy crowded. The food court was particularly packed, but I was impressed with the dining options which range from fast food (Taco bell and Wendys) to Asian (Indian, Chinese, Japanese) to American (Philly Cheese Steaks, Johnny Rockets). There was not enough seating in the food court, so I had to take away and eat somewhere else in the mall.Parking was obnoxious and I couldnt navigate the ring roads which surround the mall. I accidentally U-turned because the signage doesnt make any sense. There is lots of traffic in the immediate area so be prepared to honk your horn at everyone.
Huge, well-organized mall with lots of signage, parking and access points. Stores with many price points to please any shoppers. Nice eaterIes with attractive seating areas. Great customer service at all but one large dept store that was under staffed in 2 jewelry areas and had staff standing around waiting for customers in other areas. Kudos to exceptional sales people at Bloomingdales and Neiman Marcus.
The mall is nicely maintained and the stores are very diverse m. Steer clear of the Louis Vuitton location here tho If possible. The skinny black manager with the glasses and grey hair is totally unprofessional and unaccommodating. No respect for customers time invested in the long hours worked to be able to afford their goods, or the time to commute there etc, but to close the gate on me at 6:58 when other customers still in the store and I just wanted to buy a specific item. Smh
Was born, raised, and lived in Nassau County my whole live and I can say with ease that this can be considered one of, if not the best malls in the 516. Lots of parking, many different kinds of stores, simple layout, and easy to get to. And I will add a lot of these factors have only improved since they have done the renovation over the last few years. But with that I will say the one and biggest negative thing about the mall now is that your senses will be assaulted on multiple fronts. I know stores try to do all they can to grab your attention, but its out of hand how far theyre allowed to do so. Every few feet your hit with jarringly different, pumped in, artificial scents, blarring music, or even blinded by storefront lights youre walking past. I would be okay with all this if they were contained within each of the stores, but everything seems to leak out and mix through the corridors. Its very overwhelming if you are just walking around trying to brows the selection. Not so much of an issue if you have a set plan and can tunnel vision on the places you need to go. This is a heads up for anyone who is or has children that are prone to sensory overloading.
The best mall you will ever go to. This mall has everything...from affordable brands to designer...from Gap, to Gucci. This mall has everything anyone would wants for a mall; space, plenty of stores, tons of restaurants, available parking (the best part, trust me on this one). You must go to this mall if you like to shop and you want to do it well. The only problem with this mall is that it is so huge, you might get lost lol
Miss. Kimberly ——-Manager of store named “Express” in Rosevelt field mall at Long Island saved my life yesterday . 😂 I was trying a dress in the fitting room and I forgot my purse inside. After I left store and walking around at least over 20 minutes I suddenly realized I lost my purse in the room. My head suddenly empty and explosion . Scared to death . All my credit card driver license iPhone 11 some cash three metro cards all in the purse. I was crazy running back to the store rush in the fitting room . someone was in there said nothing inside . I was faint. Then a employee asking me what happened after he verified my purse size and color. He magically brought out my purse from the front desk . From him I knew that was Kimberly find out and keep for me. There is such a kind, honestly, responsible people choose working in that place . You can imagining how fantastic that place should be. I ❤️ the mall. I will go back to visit there all the time because my lucky people there!!! And nice things happening there. 7 🌟 ⭐️ 💫 🌟 ⭐️ 🌟 🌟 Plaza!!!!!!
The size of Roosevelt Field is big. With this said, this mall has a wide selection of stores too.Regarding cleanliness, the place generally looks clean. However, I have not seen the bathroom, so I cannot speak on that.As for the dining floor, it is spacious, and it has a lot of stores you can order food from. There are also separate food vendors scattered throughout the mall. There are a lot of places to sit down and eat, including a area outside. I have also seen staff cleaning the tables and chairs once a group leaves, in order to prepare table and chairs for the next guests. That is definitely a plus. For getting to Roosevelt Field by public transportation, there are a handful of N busses that stop outside of the mall, specifically the Orange parking lot area. There are also other places located around this mall, like parks, restaurants, stores, etc.Overall, in my opinion, it is a great place to shop, hang out, or maybe just to stop by.
I loved walking around the mall. It is contemporary in decor with many comfortable seating areas to relax at...I saw a lot of security which makes me feel safe. The mall is very attractive and clean. There is something for everyone as far as shopping. The food court choices were good. In addition, there is a great variety of sit down restaurants to choose from that also offer valet parking. In addition, there is a movie theater on the premise. Lastly, parking was good for the amount of patrons.
PACKED. everything was packed. Parking lot? Packed. Bathrooms? Packed. Food court? Packed. Chick-fil-A and Asian teriyaki spot? More then packed… probably 20+ min to get your food. With all that being said, that is how you know this mall is good. Great place to shop for all the stuff I can’t afford 😔😂😔🤣😞. Great selection of store. Expect to find everything there. And for some reason if you can’t find the stuff you need then look around that area for other stores located outside the small like Best Buy, target 🎯, bjs.
Beautiful mall with a wide range of stores and prices. You can get moderate priced items in many stores. However, if you are looking to spend a little $$ you can check out Neiman Marcus. Additionally, you can dine at the food court where there are a several different types of food to try. IMO its one of the best malls in Long Island.
Beautiful mall with tons of stores for clothing and shoes. Plus a big food court that has every type of food imaginable including healthy veggie selections. Outside of the mall there are a few fabulous restaurants like Havana Central which I highly recommend if you love cuban food!
Born and raised in Queens, I’ve always come to this mall when shopping for clothes. This is the closest mall to me with all my favorite brands to shop from. I always refuse to go to Queens Center or Green Acres Mall. There is always free parking. The mall is always clean and the architecture is modern.
Very nice mall, VERY high prices, a great place to go with friends.First thing I have to disclose is that I have worked here for almost 3 years. As someone who has spent an excessive amount of time in this mall, I do have to admit it is a really nice place to spend time with along with friends. What I also have to say is that the place is expensive, and I mean REALLY expensive. Plenty of stores in there have prices marked up more than other retail locations and it really grinds my gears. If I had to explain why I give this a 3 star rather than a 4 star, it would have to be because the security in the mall is.... bad. They do their job, they show their presence and go through their rounds, but thats all they do. They do not stop theft, nor do they prevent any determined individual from stealing. They didnt enforce mask coverage during COVID and that made me feel very unsafe during the whole pandemic.
The mall is pretty empty. Kiosk and stores are constantly closing. From what i heard its from the difficulty from the leasing agent to remain and stay open, sadly. So if you have a favorite store it might not be there in the months to come.Bathrooms are horrendous everywhere. The locks dont work in many. They are not cleaned well. The odor in many will make you gag.Be extremely careful using the elevators, half of them are broken. One had smoke in them. Another time, i was in one and it had dropped, but thankfully it was not extreme since it were base level, i pressed the open button so quick when that happened and ran out.The food court is back to normal precovid. Opened and busy. So if youre one of those people who prefer distance when eating, you might want to consider take out. The renovations are beautiful, but not much to shop or explore.
This is a Simon mall, which is to say it is like every other Simon mall youve been to. A lot of the same stores in different arrangement. This mall in particular is impressive in scale, with multiple floors to walk and browse a wide variety of outlets. Clothing, shoes, accessories, electronics, camping supply, jewelry, and more. You can also find a number of small booths and stands to get lunch or a snack (or dessert) while youre here. Parking is widely available, though the mall is usually crowded.
Very big and beautifully decorated inside out. They have all the store you need. And all the popular stores have a good collection of their items. The attendees are welcoming. They have food court too. Has a huge parking lot. The price range has a large varieties from $-$$$$ . Even good place to hangout with friends. Has several restaurants and common bars and grill houses. And cinemas. Recommended.
Ive been here a few times. Im just happy that the theaters are open again. The theaters are as clean as the staff can keep it.. unfortunately some patrons have no home training and leave trash behind like slobs (thats everywhere though).Plenty of options at the concession stand. My nachos with double cheese were great. Only complaint, is that they really do need, at least, two people at the drinks machines to get the line moving.Plenty of parking. Wheelchair accessible. Overall, a very positive opinion of this theater.Enjoy!
This mall has become more and more popular through the years. Everyone and their father and mother has shopped here. Thankfully its still a respectful place to get a nice walk in and shop. Its definitely overcrowded, and thats just due to the location and great stores. Nassau buses can be caught to get you to and from, the station is right on site. Theres a food court with a variety of choices. Theres also restaurants and an AMC movie theater on the outside perimeter. This place has it all. A new hotel was built across the street. Theres also an LA Fitness center across the street. Theres 3 levels to this mall. If you like miniature golf, youre in luck because theres a glow in the dark course here also. ...Are you excited yet? (Lol) I could go on and on. Sorry I didnt provide pics but this place has it all, sneakers, clothing, toys, jewelry, and almost anything you could think of. Enjoy.

2022-02-22Absolutely love this mall. They have a lot of stores so there’s something for everyone. The people that work in the mall are so friendly and the stores are very clean. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because they closed hollister and Abercrombie:(. I would highly recommend going here but this mall is mostly filled with young people.

2022-02-21So I really intend to give it a 4.5, but you can’t do that on Google Maps so it’s just 4 stars. Now, if it’s your first time going there definitely make sure to figure out what stores you want to go to first because it’s really big and you can get lost lol. Make sure to check the maps they include everything! This mall is really good if your looking to buy clothing. There’s also really good food there by the food court. I mainly went there to go to the hot topic though to buy some shirts. There are some really unique stores that they have there so check them out if you have time. Also keep in mind a few things there’s a lot of people there and you don’t need to wear a mask (but some stores require it, so bring one just in case). Overall great place to shop with friends and family. Happy shopping for everyone who read this/plan to go soon! 🛍

2022-03-26The prices are much higher here but everything is in the same place and you can even do some great jogging and exercising inside out of the rain or the weather. And theres some great people to run into yes lovely people where are everywhere today. Im pretty sure theres a Chick-fil-A in the food court. But way before that on the same side are some healthy alternatives I am so happy for them. The first three stalls very good for us including even The Taste of India

2022-02-15The best mall on Long Island. Lots of stores ranging from basic casual, to high end retailers. The mall interior is open and updated and the food court has plenty of options. Plenty of parking spaces and a few great dining choices along the mall’s perimeter. The mall is easily accessible from the highway but traffic on local roads might cause some annoyance. If you’re looking for a great indoor retail experience in the NYC/LI area, this is it.
