Rosas Pizza in other cities:
First time here, the man who served us treated us like a nuisance and made us feel extremely uncomfortable. The pizza slices were large so that was a plus however they had very little flavor. The mozzarella sticks were cold and hard and the sauce was tasteless. My mothers eggplant rollatini was soggy and tasteless and unenjoyable. We spent $40 for everything and I feel like it was a waste. Maybe it was an off night but I wouldnt return.
I used to tolerate the rude, often nasty, staff because the pizza is good, but the complete disregard for basic hygiene during a pandemic is a deal-breaker. There are other very good pizza places in town, no need to risk getting sick and subject yourself to horrible customer service.
So yesterday was my first time eating here since i just started a job in the area. And it will definitely be the last. Everything seems familiar, that is if you have ever been in a pizzeria before. I ordered my food and waited patiently. Man taking my order seemed in a rush, but I figured that was just the lunch rush mentality sticking with him. I get my food and head back to work to eat. Up till now I could have reasonably give a 4 to this establishment. This is where it falls apart. The sauce was so salty and kind of watery. It seemd like they had a decent sauce and thinned it out with water, then tried to season it up to disguise it. Cant say for sure, but thats what it tasted like. The pasta was undercooked and the meatballs just tasted of mush. I know I cant expect super fresh, hand rolled meatball in a smaller grab and go style pizzeria, but these where clearly long past the safe time in a freezer. And to add literal injury to the insult of this food, I woke up extremely ill. The food from this establishment was the ONLY thing I ate different from my family and I was the only one praying at the porcelain alter this morning. Leads to believe I was dead right about those meatballs and should have just stopped after the first bite. I know they have a great review, its why I tried them in the first place, and maybe they were just having an off day when it came to my order. But me actually getting sick after eating the food is completely beyond the potential for forgiveness and second chances. Will never eat from here again.
Rosas closed for renovation for a while and it was pretty terrible because Huntington doesnt really have any good pizza spots. When they reopened they completely renovated the upstairs and downstairs. The margarita and Chicken Cesar Salas slices are by far my favorite. Great food and service!
Hands down my favorite pizza place on LI. A margherita slice is a must! Would absolutely get five stars if they took better safety measures with this pandemic -- please wear masks, guys. I have felt too uncomfortable to grab a slice since I decided to stop in three months ago and masks were around the neck.
Food good as usual. But many staff members were not wearing masks and others were not wearing them correctly. A couple of slices of pizza is not worth the risk with staffs failure to comply with health and safety standards. So disappointed. I know its got and uncomfortable but come on!
This is pizzeria whith quality no matter what you get. Everything is good, prices are a bit steep but you get what you pay for. Everyone except the tall white husky kid at the cash register was nice, he needs to realize customers are actually paying his paycheck and treat them with respect. 4 stars for that reason.
This is one of the main pizzerias in Huntington Village. Located on Main Street, close to New York Avenue/ Route 110. Pizza is good. Moderately clean facilities. Public Restroom. Reasonably priced. Outdoor seating is available. Nice staff. The best part is that they are open late. My advice is, give Rosas a try.
Chicken parmigiana here was sooo good! Different from others Ive had in the past, the bread was very soft not super toasted which I enjoyed. I believe that they use a sesame potato hero and they stuff it with a good amount of meat. Very hearty, filling, and it was a good price $8.50 for one Id definitely recommend.
The guys who work here are some of the rudest in the business, not even wearing gloves in the middle of a pandemic, and can’t remember your order if their life depended on it. Pizza is always cold and chicken is chewy. I always tell myself, never again...this time for real! Go to Diramos a couple blocks away where they actually appreciate your business and listen to you!
This is a very simple pizza place, reminiscent of a pizza place back in the 70s or 80s.Its not fancy inside, but…The pizza is (in my opinion) some of the best pizza on Long Island.I am particularly fond of their margarita pizza – it could be the best margarita pizza that I ive ever had.My girlfriend loves the pizza with the small square ravioli on top. (I think they use vodka sauce.)We really cannot pass through Huntington Village without stopping in for a couple of slices. Also, while it might seem somewhat trivial, their garlic knots are some of the best weve ever had.I have never really gone in for a big sit down meal (like baked ziti or lasagna) just slices. As I said it is not fancy but the pizza is really, really good.Their house salad (as simple as everything else - iceberg lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes) is delicious. I attribute that to a very nice Italian dressing. Think Wishbone Italian only 20 times better.
Rosas is a Main St mainstay. Lots of pizza options, including even gluten free (though leave yourself at least 20 mins for that one). All tasty, all hot. Friendly service. Plenty of places to sit. And they always oblige me with a cup of tap water rather than a soft drink, no questions asked.
Rosas is delicious. Best pizza Ive ever had. We lived on LI for the better part of a decade, and I still dream about their pizza crust and garlic knots! One time, I went to pick up an order in traffic and discovered I had left my wallet at home. The owner told me to take the pie anyway, and that he knew I was a terrific customer, and he trusted me to pay later. THAT is customer service, folks. That is community building. Are they quintessentially NewYork? Absolutely. Are they amazing when the chips are down? Absolutely! Ill be back every time I visit LI, and tell everyone I know who ever visits Huntington. You cant buy that kind of recommendation. You have to earn it over years.
I wish I could leave zero stars. Ordered my pizza was told 20 minutes, when I arrived 45 minutes later my pizza had not even been put in the oven. I had two screaming children in the car. I was offered no explanation, no apology and no refund since I had already paid. Overpriced With terrible customer service.
Its a shame that Im giving this a 3 Star because I absolutely love your pizza. HOWEVER, the employees that cook the pizza are very rude. Its like something is always angering them. Ive been here over a dozen times and its the same thing every time. I can only look passed it and give it so many chances before I stop coming here.

2022-08-05Go to Dough & Co across the street. They have better pizza and dont seem angry at you for having the audacity to try to buy food from them. Seriously ignore anyone who tells you this place is good. Rosas is only the best pizza in town by virtue of existing the longest.

2019-05-02Im so glad Rosas is finally open again. Its tradition to grab a slice at Rosas and watch the fire department parade. Last year they were closed, so we had to try a competitor. I dont notice much of a difference in the renovated dining area, but I didnt go upstairs. That aside, the pizza is just as good as I remember. The service is quick, and I was out the door with two slices in no time.

2022-07-12Once a week I stop by for the marinara slices. The falovors are perfectly blanced. I think its called marinara slice, I could be wrong, I just point at the slices 🤷♂️

2019-07-22Best pizza in Huntington, the margarita slice and chicken Caesar slice are always so good. My only complaint is that the people that work here are pretty rude, the girl at the register is always on her phone picking up some phone call or text and the men behind the counter are never really friendly like you find at other places.

2022-03-21Great neighborhood spot with lots of specialty slices to choose from. The classic margherita stole the show. The pasta slices could use more sauce. Overall, great place!

2021-11-20Asked for bathroom, was responded with a curt no, pizza was mediocre at best. Please go to any other pizzeria within any other 5 mile radius. Not worth it.There are plenty of other pizzerias that provide better quality pizza along with service. Save your time and money. Do better, please.
