We were visiting family in Farmingdale and we found this gem of a restaurant. This unpretentious restaurant had an awesome staff. They were friendly and attentive! The food was amazing and fresh and for the price, you just can’t beat it! I would love to visit this place again the next time I am in the area! Thank you guys for your service!

Guy is full of personality, mac and cheese aka CHEESY BAKE was incredible. Their pizza great without a ton of salt !! Clean,friendly...l went back and bought a pie a month later and found the dough yo have a bitter aftrr taste. Very salty too. Same chef, go figure. Not going back since the bitterness stayed with me. Dont know what to say..

I dont know what it is about this place , but the quality of their sauce has gotten significantly better the last few months. Always look forward to their sicilian and regular pies. I love toppings but the sauce tastes so good none are required. Keep it up!
Came here for a Christmas party tonight. The service was OUTSTANDING. Lenny was spot on with everything. Both waitresses (both named Gianna!) were great and so attentive.You WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED coming here for your next meal!

I usually don’t do reviews, especially not bad ones to hurt a business, but this situation has me stunned. If I could give 0 starts I would. I ordered a tray for catering over the phone- a seafood platter. So you think you’re getting a medley of seafood right? Wrong. You’re getting 4 clams, 5 mussels, the tiniest dry calamari, on top of a whole bunch of noodles. The gentleman I spoke to on the phone quoted me for $90 with a side of bread included. Delivery came late, I get charged $97, and no bread with barely any seafood. My guests and myself were so disappointed. I was better off getting 2 seafood boils from another place and gotten my money’s worth. I paid literally for a tray full of noodles.
The pizza was disgusting it was undercooked and the bread was so bad the sauce was going thew the bread into the cardboard and it was overpriced just for this disgusting pizza

Great local Italian restaurant with a wise selection on their menu . Yes , pizza is a staple there . I like the balance of spices and acidity in their tomato sauces . My family has been going there for years for many occasions or just a meal not at home . 👍👍👍👍
True story:Came here to order some slices for my family. Probably ordered around $25 dollars of food. The person at the counter handed me the box full of food and said, “have a great evening.” I asked how much? She said, “dont worry about it.” I paused.. at first I thought she was joking. Then, when she assured me she wasn’t, I thought I was on a hidden camera show. Again, no. I left in amazement.Thinking back on it, I should have paid it forward for the next customer, but the surprise in the moment somewhat froze me. I’ll get em next time. In the meantime - I’m a Rosemaries for life now, for sure.Get a haircut at Robert’s while you’re in the area as well.

This place is wonderful. We recently moved here and were so fortunate to find this gem. Hate to say it , but coming from Brooklyn, we were skeptical about finding good pizza and Italian food, but this place has got both.The food is excellent and the people are incredibly nice. We have had take out and also sat down in the restaurant and both are equally delicious.
My 70th birthday was catered from here. BEST BIRTHDAY FOOD EVER! 8 people, 1/2 tray eggplant gone 123. Chicken franchise beyond belief. Everyone took number. More eggplant this week! Thank you Sean!
The food was delicious! Because of all the food (8 slices) we got we were able to get free slices. The worker who took our orders and put them into the ovens was Shaun and he was very nice. He was very worried we wouldn’t like the square shape pizzas but it still as delicious as ever. The woman who rang us up, Amanda, talked to us briefly and was very nice too. The only thing I will say is that they forgot our garlic knot order. Everything else was amazing!

Its me Calogero again and this was my first time at Rosemarys pizzeria restaurant located at 188 Merritts rd, Farmingdale NY 11735 .i now know its been open for 40 yrs and I must tell you as soon as I walked in I was impressed and I went to the counter to ordered a spinach slice a grandma slice and a chicken bacon slice and also a bowl of pasta fa gioli soup and I consider my self a food and RESTAURANT expert. Well let me tell you I was blown away at how delicious everything was and when I was finished Antonio the Manager was so nice he gave me a tour of the whole place . I was very impressed and my next party will be there in the private party room with private bar..i am still shocked how great everything was.. I give them 5 stars and cant wait to taste and review their dinners.
I just left there . the receptionist she was so sweet I wish I got her name. Came in for a cesar salad pizza and they gave me a whole personal pan. went to two other pizzerias they didnt have it! it was soo yummy! highly recommend
I have been going to Rosemaries, under the original owners, for years and I am happy to say the new owners are GREAT, better than original owners and the food outstanding, and the service is very attentive. I will continue to be a loyal customer! Highly recommend the fishermans platter in plum tomatoes with veggies very yummy!

We went on Valentines Day, everything was delicious. Lenny was a great waiter. We had Hot Antipasto, Veal Sorrentino and Linguine with White Clam Sauce. Will definitely go back 👍
I called and asked if they could make a fresh calzone with meatballs and they did although , when I got there I had to wait 10 or 15 minutes... but it was well worth it.Easily the best calzone I have had in a very long time ...GREAT JOB THIS IS MY NEW GO-TO PLACE ..👍

I order from here all the time, but the Grandma pie I ordered tonight, made me want to write a review... half regular, half bacon chicken ranch... this pizza was outstanding! Was delivered hot and full of toppings. Thank you to whomever made this pie!

I ordered my pizza and requested a clean cut. The pizza was clean cut, however, when I gave the guy at cash register my money he tossed my money on counter. The next time I went another guy dumped my pizza on the counter. So, if you are Muslim (wear a headscarf) and are okay dealing with this sort of bad behavior, I would not recommend them. Its imitation cheese pizza with poorly contained anger and bad behavior. Other places in town have good pizza and very good service.
Very upset since the original owner John sold it. The new owner changed the place a lot, and change is not for the good. Half the selections he took away from.I use to come 30 minutes away out east just to come here and now I don’t even think it’s worth a 5 minute drive here.John if you are reading this please buy the place back and bring Rosemaries how it use to be!P.S. they took away the fountain soda!!!!!

Went here for the first time ever as I’m new to the area. Was treated very poorly by the owner. I paid for a chicken parm combo which included a small drink. The owner then said it doesn’t come with a drink after having paid for it to my disappointment. He said if you want a drink it’s extra and I said it days included to which he said. NO IT IS EXTRA. Very clearly stated on the sign that it comes with the hero. I sat had the food which wasn’t bad but the owner then walked by and said “how is it?” I replied it would be better with a drink & he rudely walked away & said something nasty under his breath. Not somewhere I’d recommend because of the poor customer service, the food industry is a customer service industry. Just gained a new customer & lost it as soon as he gained it. Maybe he will think twice before treating the next customer as indispensable. I’d give a lower rating than 1 Star if google allowed it!

My grandmother used to take me here as a kid, and over 25 years I can report that the pizza taste just as amazing as it did. Id have to say this is probably my favorite pizza place of all time. That crust and sauce gives me life and Im not going to apologize for it. Mic drop.
Been living in Farmingdale for 3 years and only recently tried Rosemaries. Ive been to the restaurant and pizzeria and both have delicious food. The stuffed artichoke was fantastic, just like my old neighborhood in the Bronx. Staff is very attentive and friendly too. A good experience all around.

Pizza is good but the guy and wife are rude. Went in there when they were closing. I had 9 dollars and she said shell put together what was left. She gave me 2 slices and kept my 9 bucks. The guy doesnt say much, just looks at you
The pizza is the best around. I have been getting pizza there for years. Finally got around to trying the resturant side for dinner. Not disappointed. Food was great. Staff (Nixon) was great. Reasonably priced. Will become a regular. Highly recommend

I been going there over 30 years . I order a pie . It came cold and the crust was burned . Tasted like it was reheated. When I called up to tell what happened was treated rudely by vivian. I was told to bring old pie back or they send one but the needed the old pie. I wanted a credit for next time. Any good restaurant would say fine dont worry. Very disappointing. They lost a long time customer and there whole familly . I spent thousands a year there .

I just received my order of all different things. I had it delivered. The person on the phone was very easy to talk to. the delivery person had issues with his gps, he did call me to help him, which I was happy that he felt comfortable to call me. He then showed up in no time.On top of that the food was delicious and warm. thank you

Good Chicken Caesar salad. In regards to the salad, the chicken isnt some basic no-taste chicken, but instead actually has some seasoning and flavor. Also, the dressing isnt standard fair caesar, but a dijon-esque Caesar which is a nice change. Not my favorite pizza pie here, but their other entrees are cooked right, have good flavor and prices are average if not a bit better than average. Food is also ready for pickup pretty quickly and they have a decent phone ordering system even on busy weekends unlike a lot of restaurants. Recommended.
Called them twice to ask if their veggie pizza had cheese on it and both times I was assured it didnt. Ordered a cheeseless veggie pie, explicitly saying no cheese and the pie came to my house with cheese on it. Im lactose intolerant and vegan by choice, and cant eat cheese. The rest of my nonvegan family continued to eat the pizza, as they shouldnt be expected to wait another half hour. I called them back up and explained the circumstance and the manager was snooty, admitting this was their fault but reminding me for future reference, just say no cheese. They did offer to have a new pie made and I said thatd be great. But then they asked for the incorrect, cheese covered pie to be returned! Outrageous. What were they going to do with that pie? Eat it? Resell it? Throw it out? If you plan on ordering a veggie pizza anytime soon, be forewarned it may have been on my dining room table!

By far the best Italian restaurant food always delicious and the service is best. I talked to the pizza man working elsewhere now And he has told me they have the best quality ingredients that’s what helps make the food taste so good and I would have to agree

I live in the area and have been eating Rosemaries pizza for probably around 30 years now. And I just find it... eh. Not horrible, but not outstanding either. There was a period of time where they constantly burned the bottom of the pizza, although those days are long gone. I dont really find their pizza that special, its ok but again not outstanding. Their chicken parm is pretty good too. One of the things that used to bug me: whenever Id order mozzarella sticks (to go, anyway) and theyd give you a cup of marinara sauce, it was always very watery. It was as if I was dunking the sticks in some kind of tomato soup. Ive had better sauce.

Ordered from them for a delivery. Waited 2 hours and received nothing! Called and spoke to owner and he claimed they tried to call back to have driver find our address. They deliver here all the time!! He then said hold on he will check the ticket and hung up!! Very disappointed because we also dine in there too! We always tipped delivery driver and wait staff very well and do not understand why they treat their regular customers this way! I guess they dont need good paying customers anymore!!

Chicken Night! A nice variety to choose from on the menu and a great deal. We had chicken celano, chicken francese and chicken piccatta... all wonderful. The salad was nice and the dressing on it was fantastic! Cheesecake or ice cream for dessert. All that for $11.95
Used them to cater to small parties on back to back weekends. Both events food was delivered on time, hot, and of course delicious. Also the pricing on the catering is very reasonable.

Do not support Rosemarie as they did not honor there coupons during hurican Sandy. I think that is a disgrace to be told that they were too busy to take there own coupons for there wednesday special. If we werent desperate I would of left. Lets show these people and choose other places for a good slice of pizza.

2022-05-07Wanted a nice meal for my birthday dinner. Although I cant review or rate the food because it never got that far, this was an awful experience.We were told that there would be 1/2 hour wait which is understandable on a Saturday night. So we sat at the bar until there was a table to accommodate us.After being seated we were forgotten about for another 20 minutes and never approached by waitstaff! No water, no bread, no acknowledgement. We walked out needless to say.There was apparently a rehearsal dinner they had to tend to, which again is understandable, but does that negate the other patrons waiting to dine? If youre lacking adequate help perhaps you need to address that!Awful experience on my birthday! Never again!

2022-05-02First off they have great food. But their staff, from their manager all the way to the cooks are amazingly nice people. Ive had take out here a few times and loved their food so I decided to cater a house party. I dealt with Pat and he was awesome. All I did was tell him how many people were attending my party and the rest he handled. He told us what to get, how much of it, gave us many more suggestions that I wasnt even thinking off. Even till the day before the event, he helped us get servers. Pat went way above than most would. This place his highly recommended for not only your regular day to day, but for any function you need food for!

2022-09-02This place was great. They gave fantastic dinner specials, plenty of room for couples or big groups and a party room which we used.The food was great, plenty full and the staff was amazing. Its so nicely decorated and spotless inside. Try the sangria. Cant wait to go back.

2022-03-13I grabbed slices for lunch...pizza was fresh and delicious, crispy crust and plenty of toppings. The girl at the counter was friendly, made suggestions and brought the food to my table- cant ask for anything more for a quick lunch. I did notice they had a large gathering on the other side of the restaurant. Definitely worth stopping by .
