Do not order from their website for delivery. Their website is broken and offers delivery to locations outside of the range. We called twice-- once after an hour of waiting and a second time after a second hour of waiting. The first person we spoke to told us the order was on its way... why, I have no idea. Because the second person we spoke to said it was never going to show up. We received no contact and no communication that it was never going to show up. It was left up to us to call and figure it out TWICE after TWO HOURS. Horrible customer service, and its a shame because the food looks good. Unfortunate.
Similar service to that of a Chipotle, but better tasting and more flavorful food. Healthier too!We literally stumbled upon this gem and we arrived here just before the crazy lunch time rush. And I say that because by the time we were done ordering the line was out the door!Everything we got was amazing. The meat, the veggies, the sauces, EVERYTHING! We even had leftovers. I wish they would open one like this in Southern California, it would be a hit and Id go there every day.Definitely recommend if you are in town or nearby looking for something new and refreshing.
I cant say enough positive things about this place! Fresh, delicious food and so many add on options. Its a great lunch option downtown and they give you plenty of food to enjoy. Each time, I have had enough leftover for another meal or at least an evening snack. Some recommendations - the steak, chicken and the lamb meatballs are all really good. If you dont eat meat, dont fret... there are great options and you will also be treated to great flavor.
My go to spot for a quick lunch; especially prior to meeting with clients. The food is generous for the price in downtown Manhattan. Been here only for lunch; not sure if this would be considered a dinner place. Tried the chicken platters and salmon platters as well. They were both good but definitely not traditional Mediterranean flavors. The side orders are pretty good I enjoy the rice and olives. The veggies is a good option too. I do not like the eggplant though few like its lacking in flavor. Overall good lunch spot; try to come early because by 12:30 line is out the door.
Such generous portions and the food was super good. Falafel was not dry at all. Good vegetarian options. I loved that you could choose a bunch of different toppings that you liked. It was kind of like a Subway or Chipotle, but for Mediterranean food. Its very casual vibe, a bit above a fast food place. They sell beer as well as cans of soda for drinks. The servers were nice. Prices pretty good.
Roti is THE BEST! I love falafel and can truly say this is my favorite falafel of all time. They have a variety of items to add to your bowl or wrap and all of them are so flavorful and fresh. I can confidently say that the food is consistently delicious because I have gone here at minimum once a week for the past six months (since I discovered it) - it’s my #1 food pick when I don’t bring my lunch... or if I have an appetite when I get off work. The prices are very fair especially when considering that the food is fresh, healthy, tasty, and plentiful. The employees are so kind and accommodating I honestly think their kindness makes the food that much better :)
I always get lunch here when Im at work. Its usually an $11-$12 lunch, but they really pack in the food for you! The Roti chicken is delicious, and their add-ons are all tasty, and not that high in Calories if you are careful. With the Roti app, I will get rewards over time and keep coming back. One lady behind the food counter consistently gives off the vibe that she hates her job but it would otherwise be a 5-star place
Roti Mediterranean Grill offers delicious healthy food choices. Great prices for the quality and portion. The staff is amazing! The line can get a little long, but it moves really fast. Long lines just mean the food is great, which it is!! I especially love the roasted veggies and hummus :)
I have been to Roti a bunch of times for lunch and love the food. However, I had a different experience when making a large order for a corporate event. I made the order for delivery online for 11 people. One of the orders was incorrect - someone ordered salmon since she cannot eat meat, but her order came with chicken. Not a big deal, mistakes happen. When I called the restaurant to request they send over the correct order, the person I spoke with was very rude and told me they used chicken since they were out of salmon, and to get in touch with the delivery person (through DoorDash) and have them go back and pick it up, then promptly hung up on me.Im not sure how it becomes my responsibility to contact a courier to correct an order that the restaurant got wrong, and I am also surprised that I was not contacted about them being out of salmon. That, combined with the rudeness on the phone, will cause me to think twice about ordering for another corporate event.
Roti Modern MediterraneanExcellent option if youre looking for a healthy Mediterranean option. Very affordable (and dont let that make you you think they skimp on the ingredients) and packed full of flavor. Ive gone for the chicken keboob bowl - rice, chicken and fresh veg. Comes with a pita and the hot red sauce is excellent. Really recommend this place - counter service so they build up a bowl to your customization. Staff are really friendly and youre always (well every time ive been) greeted with a smile. Can eat in or take away.
After my wonderful experiences at Roti-Washington D.C. and Roti-Chicago, I took my family to this restaurant yesterday. It was a complete disappointment. They were all out of the good drinks except the bottled drinks in the fridge. The iced tea containers were empty and dirty. The fountain drinks machine was out of order. The told us they did not have salmon as an option, giving us no reason to stay there...The staff seemed they were not happy to work there. Nobody said anything to help us or offer alternatives. I am very disappointed. Very bad restaurant, stay away.
Second time there and it was just as good as the first. Do not be intimidated by the long line it moves quickly. The staff always seems patient as you mull over the abundance of choices. This place makes Chipotle look simple. So many choices and ways to mix and match!
One of my favorite spots in fidi, its definitely a good spot to get Mediterranean food. They dont have Shawarma, but they make up for it with flavorful protein options. You might want to be cautious of going there too early, as locals from The Office Buildings will be swarming the place to get food. But they always have a good selection later into the evening, and I would definitely recommend.
I eat here at least once a week. I ALWAYS order the chicken roti salad. Their garlic sauce is to die for! The additions that are offered are all so flavorful and fresh. Lunch time there is always a long line but it moves fairly quickly. Btw, if you order the steak please know that they cook it medium rare. I like mine medium well to well done. This is why I only get the chicken . I highly recommend this place.
4 tháng trướcI would beg to differ on these 5-star ratings. We went for brunch. Food wasnt tasty and pricey for what it is. Waitress was dressed in mini skirt, spoke very little English. I have gone to Italian resteraunts and have been served by gents who dress far more modest. Food was very bland, not typical Druze food. Is it necessary to dress like an escort while serving dishes to customers? I found it to be utterly classless. The music was nice, Arabian music and coffee was delicious. Everything else was disgusting. I shant be coming here again.2
The food here is great and not too badly priced, but they need to stop lying about being out of pita pockets. Fix inventory or something. Every time I go during lunch, the darker Latino gentleman behind the counter nearest to the bread and meat always says they dont have anymore pita pockets. I been here more than five times and heard the same thing, all at different times between 12pm and 2pm. One time I pointed out that they did have one and I received the Pita. Pure laziness I say. Please take it off the menu if you truly do not have pita pockets, otherwise serve the customers what theyd like, perhaps we all do not want the laffa wrap.
Super friendly staff and very efficient. Love the food. Its really good quality especially for how fast they are able to get to everyone during a busy lunch hour. Can be very accomodating to dietary needs and its a good place to eat healthy without missing out on taste.
Ive got to say that in isolation, Roti is a top notch place for lunch and it runs an efficient ship that makes it almost worth the cost. But when you compare it to nearby Pita Press, its hard to even compare. Sure they have a good selection and the meal itself is tasty, but for $6.25 you can get a delicious falafel or even better zucchini fritter without any of the wait time. Roti does the assembly-line as well as any other, the place is clean, and the service is pretty friendly. Id take it over a good number of places in that area because the vegetarian options are pretty tasty but if you can, head over to Pita Press instead. Youll get far more for your money.
With so many other Mediterranean places to choose from, Roti doesn’t stand out. I had the Modern Classic Mediterranean Chopped Salad. The flavor was lacking and the vinegrate wasn’t very good. I may try another dish but seriously I’ll order from Cava before I order from Roti again. Although, truth be told Cava is 3 bucks more than Roti for a salad with grilled chicken.
Love this place.. the food and service is amazing. Only wish they had a few locations by me. Having to go to NY each time just to get my Roti fix is becoming an expensive addiction. Food is so good I even got my therapist hooked. So cmon Roti corporate folks a nice lil location in Central NJ or Lehigh Valley PA should be on your radar this 2018. 90 miles one way is becoming a pita just for my Roti fix.
A fusion-y Mediterranean salad place. The essence of the cuisine is in the fact that all the ingredients are simple and recipes are never overly complicated, but everything has flavor and texture and thus is never boring. Most ingredients are organic. The line moves fast, even at peak times. Prices are reasonable. I get a salad bowl with roti grilled chicken, falafel, shug, hummus, and tomatoes + cucumbers salad for $9.
ROTI is getting two stars only because the guys that work there are great. Prices went up recently, actually overpriced for a fast food. Paying little less than $16 for one meal (no drink) is a lot when there is nothing special about the place. Recently they dont even bag your food, you have to strugle to bag a food that you pay for. Let alone that they charge over $2 for a can of soda. Unfortunately this will be my VERY last time there.
If you judge a restaurant by the line during lunch hour then you will think Roti is one of the best in the area. No kidding, today I saw an extremely long line plus 10+ take out bags sitting on shelf.Without a doubt they are popular and the food is really good. For like $10 you get a lot of goodies. They offer chicken, lamb and vegge choices, wrap or rice plate plus many kinds of sauces. They are like QDoba and Chipotle of Mediterranean food.My lesson learned is go early or order online!
Came here several times with some friends to get quick Mediterranean food, and when I say quick, I really mean it! Youll get your order in a matter of a few minutes, because of the assembly line of workers they have to help you create your dish. Placing an order only takes three simple steps: 1) pick either pita bread, rice plate, or a wrap; 2) pick your protein, and 3) choose your condiments (veggies)...and there you have it, your Mediterranean dish! Although the food was ok, it would have been better if everything was served hot, as to having it already premade. Other than that, the service here is superb, because every worker seems to value their customer, which is always a huge plus!
Roti is fantastic. Its a great deal, healthy, tastes great, and is on Ritual! Portions are generous, the sides are flavorful, the red shug is to die for and the chicken roti is cooked excellently. My co-workers and I go here at least weekly. Roti is a gem and Im so glad its in FiDi!
Horrible service today. I was waiting in line for salmon (two more minutes I was told) and the line cook moved my plate down the line. I asked to wait for salmon before continuing with sauce, vegetables, etc., but he just moved me further down the line. I asked the woman who I cam to to please allow me to wit for my salmon before continuing, and then the man from before reached across, grabbed my plate and threw it to back to the beginning of the line. I work 2 blocks away and like the food but now I can never come back )and have informed my whole office to avoid too).
Really delicious and healthy lunch option for the FiDi. (Thats my first time using the abbrev. for the hood. woohoo aaabreevs) I digress. You get three options: wrap, salad or rice and several meat options though Ive only had the Roti chicken bc its too delicious for me to decide to broaden my protein horizons. You get veggies, hummus, a side (like cucumber and tomato salad or cabbage and carrots, etc) and topping (feta or olives or onions, etc). The staff is really nice and will give you just a bit more of a bigger serving if you ask. (Girls gotta eat!) They look you in the eye and smile. You dont feel like a cog in the lunch rush assembly line. Yes, the line can be a bit long but it moves fast. I like to go later in the day when its calmed down. Oh yeah and try to garlic sauce. Thanks Roti!
I love Roti because it is pretty much as awesome as Chipotle. It has the same cafeteria setup where you go from one side to another of assembly line to make your sandwich or platter. If you love Mediterranean shwarma or falafel, you will love Roti.It is not as cheap as Mamouns but the flavor is there and it is cleaner, with more topping options. This is one of my favorite lunch spots in FiDi.
My coworker and I both ordered food from roti, I did it online and he did it in person. He had close to 2x the amount of food and a correct order, I on the other hand had items missing and was extremely disappointed in the fact they dont bother caring about people in a rush who order online.

2022-08-15Pretty good for a chain, although a little overpriced. The rice was kind of dry and the meat wasnt super fresh. The flavor of everything was really good and the pita was big and fresh! I wish they had more options to put in the bowls. The sauces are tasty. The portions were big besides hummus although they gave me extra for free.

2019-12-17Finally had the opportunity to make it to Roti’s because I love Mediterranean food! The establishment was big and spacious with a menu that has clear instructions on how to order. As I was placing my order, the bowl is being put together in front of you I was quite disappointed by how messy it was coming out. Everything on top of each other with white sauce everywhere.Once I sat and ate I was happy again! First, the bowl is huge! Second everything taste so fresh and the Roti Chicken was very tasty! I highly recommend giving them a try. It’s is filling and fresh.

2020-01-14Roti Mediterranean was delicious, colorful and flavorful. When you walk in, the restaurant is spacious and all of the ingredients are displayed at the counter. Ordering is easy and the staff can answer any questions you may have. I did the make your own bowl with half chicken roti and half chicken kebab. I loved the assortment of toppings and dressings you can add to make the bowl yours. I would give 5 stars if the restaurant was cleaner. But overall the food was good and flavorful.

2018-04-19A M A Z I N G! 👌🏼👍🏼 Could seriously eat this everyday. So fresh and tasty. The sauces are delicious as well (mix them up!). The food is very well seasoned and the portions are generous! (There was rice and couscous under the greens in the photo)There’s usually a line during lunch time (totally worth the wait) but order online for faster pickup. I’ve also noticed if you order online they pack more food!

2021-09-29I had the Flip the Bird. It was shockingly flavorful. The char on the chicken was EVERYTHING! SHEER PERFECTION. My only issue is they were out of the tea I wanted I guess. I was sent an unflavored unsweet green tea. Did not know that was a thing. Did not need to know that was a thing... Yuckers... Next time, please call...

2022-07-11Took chicken bowl today after a long time. Had to throw the whole bowl as after 2 bite I got a sand or soil in my mouth. I think kale in the bowl was not washed properly.

2019-04-13I have to share how incredibly excited that Roti phased out single-use plastic in their take-out containers! Even the top is just tin foil! I think I told every employee in the store that day how much I love them for this move. Not to mention Roti is freaking delicious. That red shug is dreamy. Now I can frequent more often. More shug, less guilt.

2019-03-24One of best quick food option, they have some great choices on their menu. The best is the choice of sides for the salad bowl. Service is also satisfactory.

2022-01-08Went to this location with a coupon that clearly read buy one meal, get the other one free. At the register the total was way higher than the price of 1 meal. After pointing out the discrepancy and bringing this to the attention of the manager, I was just casually told that the code only took $10 off. Would you believe that instead of making it right and giving the appropriate discount, after my refusal to pay the inflated price,, they just threw the 2 meals away. You all preferred to throw away good food than to make the price adjustment because of your false advertising. This says a lot about your character.
