Searching for places to get Guyanese Chinese food on Jamaica Avenue and this place popped up. I dont normally leave reviews but I feel compelled as the food was absolutely exquisite.
Not a good first time experience. Ordered curry,roti and chicken fried rice. Curry was watery and had no taste. Chicken was bland and fried rice seemed stale..... sorry I had to return the food and requested uber eats refund my money. Ill not be eating here again.... good luck with your business.

The food was delicious. I ordered a curry chicken roti with ginger beer and water. The food had so much flavor and the pepper was good.
Roti paradise has the most authentic chicken and goat roti. Since leaving the city, I have craved good roti, and now I have found my place! Amazing customer service, too.
I order Uber eats from Roti Paradise waited 45 minutes for the Uber to arrive. When the Uber came they deliver the wrong food so I called Roti Paradise To let them know what happened they said it wasn’t their fault which I understand so moments later I call To reorder the food the girl Who answered the phone said she would put the order back through for me NO CHARGE so I went to pick up the food when I got there that same girl that answered the phone said I have to pay for the food so in other words I am paying for the food twice and only getting it once . She called her manager to ask what to do and the manager is screaming on the phone that it is not their fault That customer has the repay. However, I am happy it happen this way because they have a B rating posted on the restaurant. If you mind about how clean the kitchen is where your food is prepare please don’t go there. Also, the manager attitude stinks too.
If anyone wants spoil food you know where to go…not once not twice not even 3 times every time I go there something have to be spoil if not the chicken paddy the chicken when not the chicken the fish …this place is always guaranteed to sell the best spoil food in Jamaica ave

Been going here for years. In fact, since they first open l started going to this restaurant. They never fail to disappoint. But as of late, theyve increased their prices and theyve also cut back on portion size which l am somewhat disappointed with. So now l will have to ease my ordering from both online and visiting the store.
Amazing food! We placed a large order for our moms 50th birthday and everyone enjoyed it! Good price for the amount of food received. Pepper shrimp was delicious !!! 😋😋😋😋

Offering convenience while efficiently serving my family is a service Roti Paradise has mastered. Meals and menus include West Indian dishes as well as Chinese Cuisine. I can go on about the great food and service, and I recommend the restaurant to be visited. Either for lunch or planning an event, the “home cooked” touch is what every customer looks for and what this restaurant provides. Kudos to the great staff and friendly faces.

Terrible, they keep raising prices and even come up with different prices out of thin air. Their prices was good until they decided to raise it very high where you cant afford to buy anything there anymore, so instead now I go to fazees a few blocks down which has normal prices for the same food. Also that lady in charge there has an attitude problem and the prices are even higher on Uber eats , its like somehow they make you pay more just for using Uber eats where as fazees have the same price on Uber eats as in the store. Also I ordered an okra with roti , the thing was spoiled like it was made 2 months ago and just came out the fridge , I dont believe these people , they need to be on kitchen nightmares

This place is a little gem away from the heart of Richmondhill, where you usually find good Guyanese/Trinidadian food. Everything is fresh and super tasty. I had their Guyanese-Chinese food and was not disappointed! The staff is also very friendly and the restaurant has a nice homey feel. Theres seating if you just want to stop and sit for a quick bite, but its best for take out. It would be great if they delivered. One of the owners, Wazim, is a really friendly guy. Theyve filled catering orders on short notice before too.Definitely give them a try!UPDATE: they deliver now on the apps like GrubHub!!
So I live in central islip NY. Drive 25 miles to get food bring it to my Mom. This is what happen . First they over charge I call and ask for the manager and was told that he was manager. Come to find out he is not. Then I said no I want the manager then Kevin the (owner)came on the phone I told him the food is not good too spicy he said too bad hang up I call back and tell him that the goat is too hard he said he will call still waiting I will keep you posted
The owner of the store is amazing, Super friendly and likes to give out free samples! He is genuine and has a great soul. The food is delicious. I recommend the vegetable fried rice and pumpkin roti. Overall, you will not be disappointed.
The jerked lamb was delicious. I went there once before with my sister for a couple rotis. Unfortunately, we didnt like them so much. The jerk lamb is definitely a winner for me though and I will be going back there again when im in the area for another order of that or maybe even to try one of the other dinner/ lunch options. All that aside, the establishment is clean and a nice size so you can sit and eat. They also accept cash or card for payment which is always a plus in my book since I dont often carry cash. Oh also, depending on if the food is ready and the amount of people in the restaurant you might have a bit of a wait or you might get your food a bit quicker.
The moment I came in the store, the smell alone let me know I was in a real ROTI SHOP. The cleanliness and hospitality is amazing High recommendations. If you want to feel like you are home and get some good food come here!!!!!!
I am not easily impressed with the quality of food most restaurants provide..but when I first tried the food here at Roti Paradise I was blown away...tried it several times to make sure that it wasnt a one time thing..must say everytime I had their food its off the hook.compliments to the cooks..they know how to cook..I will always recommend Roti Paradise..the food is like home made..just the way i like it..The owner Kevin..keep the awesome standards up and iet the cooks keep cooking. Food is stale and will make you sick. They actually heat up food in a microwave and serve you no lie please people avoid here before getting a serious illness. They also serve stale food from the night before and hear it up for next morning.
I always wanted to stop at this restaurant. I finally stop by to see if i can order a chicken rotti. When i ordered the chicken the counter girl had no idea how to prepare my chicken rotti. She started putting the chicken inside a container. I ask her if she knows how to make a chicken rotti wrap.She never answered she finally took a wrap only after i told her. She started putting chicken into the wrap. So i asked her can she add potatoes into it. There was a little bit of potatoes left hardly nothing. So i told her that i changed my mind about the chicken rotti. She was like miss i made it already. So i told her that i have a right to change my mind because it didnt look right because she really didnt know how to make a chicken rotti.So i ordered the rice with chicken. It could have been good if it wasnt for all that pepper they put into it. The chicken had a lot of bones not very meaty. The girls at the counter have no people skills. They need to put someone with more people skills and know how to take the customers order. I would not recommend this local restaurant to anyone.
Roti Paradise is in my opinion the best restaurant on Jamaica. Their food is very delicious, always on point and actually has taste unlike some restaurants. The roti is fluffy and tastes great as well as the dhal puri with the curries that they cook. Aside from the food the staff is very friendly and helpful as well.

I went to this place for the first time on 4/ 27/19 because my nephew told me the doubles was ok, I purchase 4 doubles , 3 roti skins and a chicken roti to my surprised when I got home the chicken was HARD FOUL and the roti was plain flour not even buss up shot I called to explain, I WANTED DHAL PURI ROTI, I was told I have to ask for dhal puri not roti if I wanted dhal puri. I am a TRINIDADIAN we ask for a roti and you get a dhal puri. the counter girl hung up on me, I called back, someone in the back ground said hang up then came to the phone and asked for my phone number I guess to block if I call back! to make a long story short I threw away the food $21 down the drain. never again NASTY FOOD NASTY PEOPLE!! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!

2022-07-17I ordered curry goat and buss up shot. The curry goat was oily and had no taste. The bus up shot was cold and hard. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. It need shutting down. I got four piece of curry goat fat. Not one piece of meat. The meat wasn’t seasoned and had no taste.

2020-11-17Gilbaka Gilbaka Gibaka Curryyyy was on point .....im new in the area but was looking to get my West Indian tongue on some roti . Then I saw the sign and ran right into this Gem of a roti shop . I was pleasantly greeted by the handler , she was very careful in servicing me aaking what I was looking for , engaging me in conversation about my meal ....noticed also they were all well clad and wearing there face mask , the place was clean and welcoming to the eye . With this said Im goin back to try the Chinese Food that I was promised that is served from Wed thru Sat . yours Truly A satisfied Indian . The Gilbaka Curry was a hit with me last night .....and it had every thing you might want in that type of Curry .

2019-05-24A small little restaurant that offers a good selection of carribean/Guyanese cuisine. Bought a lunch special with jerk chicken, rice, and a lemonade for 7 dollars. The portion sizes are very generous and the food tasted really good. Not only does it taste good but it looks good too!

2021-08-31Ordered jerk chicken fried rice they called me back and said they don’t have fried rice and that they can either give me cook up or rice and peas i went with rice and peas my order came and they gave me BBQ chicken instead 🙄 it tasted good but I found a hair it’s definitely not mines because I have red hair
