Mike T was really good to work with. He helped answered all my questions and was very professional. This is the third time I use Roto-Rooter for my plumbing needs. Their prices is expensive, but they are worth every penny. In addition, they are amazing because they provide you will soultions to prevent future problems. I recommend this company to all my friends, colleagues, staff, and anybody else I know.
Our pipe drain for the house was clogged and gross water was being pumped back into our basement. Dakota took our call and let us know he’d be out to us as soon as he could which put our mind at ease. He came in, got the job done. Very professional and provided a great customer experience. We were left very satisfied.
They showed up an hour late and gave me two prices over the phone. $300 to “attempt” to fix the drain for one hour or $600 to try for longer to solve the issue. I said go ahead and try to fix it I’ll pay more to guarantee it’s done right. The technician Dakota was there for 45 minutes and claimed it was fixed. When I got home and hour later my garage was flooded again and the drain was clearly not opened up. So I received a bill for $640 for 45 minutes worth of work AND the problem isn’t solved so I have to find someone ethical to fix the problem still or at least tell me what the issue is. Fraudulent business. Call a local plumber.
The skimmer in our pool was clogged. We called Roto Rooter and they came the same day! Sabastian delivered excellent service!! He went over all of the options and was very informative on how to fix the problem. He cleared the pipe and our skimmer is back on track!! Thank you so much!!

Jason was great. Needed an emergency service on a Sunday night, received a call back promptly and he was at our house in an hour. Provided us with our options and took care of our problem promptly and professionally.
This was an after hours emergency service. We had a toilet flooding our main floor and leaking into the basement due to a clogged pipe inside the house. This happened in the evening. Mike called within five minutes of my request. And arrived exactly when he said he would. Most importantly, he fixed the problem.
Excellent work, I have had other plumbers clean sewer line but not close to how good this company did. I can sleep better. Thank you very much. Jim

Only gave one star because I could not give zero. They came out charged us $1600 before they would do any work. Came back next day said if we did not know where the distribution box was they couldnt do anything and they left. So essentially we paid $1600 and they did zero work and refuse to give us a refund. Do not use these people ever. Call anyone else

I understand we all have to make money but 800 bucks to replace a toilet most people are consumers so they don’t understand the value of money but a toilet is 100 bucks two floor bolts so after he rambled off another insane number I decided not to use them they ended up charging me 200 just for coming out never again.

The response time was outstanding. The quoted price was extremely high. The quote started at over $3,300 for a clogged drain. I was able to ask for the basic snake portion for $1400, which my plumber informed me was $1100 more than he would have charged. My plumber was busy for the day but I regret not waiting. The technician, Eric, was very nice and efficient. But, overall they are charging 4x what a normal plumber would cost.
I can’t say enough about your employee Sebastian. Sebastian was courteous, knowledgeable, professional, on time, and respectful of my property at all times. I was very dismayed with the problem in my basement due to a clogged sewer drain. I called Roto Rooter, on New Year’s Eve, and within four hours Sebastian was dispatched to my home. He spent a good hour unclogging said drain. He was able to clip some roots and he was able to show me a photo of all the grease that had accumulated in my drain. It is now sparkling clean and it will serve me for many years. Thank you Roter Rooter!
At the time of our dilemma we had a tech at our doorstep within 45 minutes. I cannot say enough about Sebastian. He was extremely professional and knowledgeable. His presence put our minds at ease. When a dilemma like this hits, customer service isnt on ones mind, but when Sebastian arrived it didnt have to be.
The serviceman , Dakota, was on time and very thorough in his approach to unclogging my drainage system . He was informative and neatly cleaned up afterwards . I will ask for his service when I follow up with Roto Router again this summer . I want to persue the”jet” process at that time.

My tub was leaking through the ceiling. Very professional over the phone, technician was very knowledgeable and professional. It was a pricey fix but it was worth the money to know it was done right. No more issues.

I called Roto-Rooter to unclog a drain in my basement. It cost me $189.00 but one month later, the same drain was clogged again. I called Roto-Rooter once more and was told that the service I paid for did NOT include a warranty and that sending out someone again will cost me much more than $189.00This is bad business! Ill never use them again!

2022-05-05We had a great experience! It was a stressful situation having to pay for something we weren’t expecting. We were already in the middle of remodeling a bathroom when we ran into a major problem. Mike T was professional and efficient. He kept reassuring me that we were doing the right thing and explaining everything as he went. We ended up having to call in another person, in addition to our own contractor, to do something else and he was a team player and everyone got the job done! In the end we got way more then expected. I was impressed with all the chemicals he left us with for septic maintenance. We would prefer Mike T come back for re treatment when needed. ~The Nerber’s

2022-05-31Update after 21 daysLowered rating from 5 to a 1. Within 3 weeks of spending $2000 for this service, the toilet has clogged twice. I was able to open it with rigorous plunging, but I called them back to re-check the line. When they arrived, due to my prior plunging of the line the toiler ran clear therefore they wouldnt do anything for me.I asked if I hadnt plunged it, and the toilet was still clogged the re-cleaning of the line would have been covered by the warranty to which they said Yes, except for a few charges for miscellaneous material. I asked WHAT materials.... they said the Wax Seal and Hardware (I have a re-usable seal, not wax).I then requested a 30 day extension on the warranty which their office promptly denied! So, they obviously are banking on Ill be clog free for 10 days instead of appeasing the customer if they really believe in their work. ZERO CUSTOMER SATISFACTION CONCERNS FROM THIS COMPANY.Unless you have money to Flush down the drain AVOID THIS COMPANY.Original Review.Pricing is crazy high .... Just over $2000 (inc tax) for 2.5 hours of work but the results were perfect and it had to be done. Dakota, my tech, was professional and courteous and kept me informed throughout the process.Other than the high price, which you have to pay upfront, the only other item I didnt care for was they provide you 2 gallons of drain maintenance cleaner and 2 tubs of toilet / mainline conditioner.... but they charge you over $100 for it. That should be disclosed upfront and be optional.

2022-05-20We had the unfortunate surprise of water and sewage coming back up through our drain in our basement - after calling around and being told it would take a couple days for someone to come out, we tried Roto Rooter. Within two hours, Mike T was on the case, cleaning out the line and treating it so that the issue would not come up again. After a thorough job, he left us with some chemicals to treat the line with over the next few months so that we could maintain the system, and we were good to go! Everything has been working well since then, and we now have a course of action for preventative maintenance which is super comforting.

2022-06-14We called due to a clogged sump pump line this morning. Mike T just left after coming here the same day AND fixing the problem for us.We thought it would just be a service call & they would return to fix it (that’s the way it usually works). He gave us 2 options & after we made our decision he completed the job for us. On top of that, Mike T cleaned up the mess we had made.We were given a 2 hour time frame for Mike T to get here. We even got a call from their office to let us know Mike T was running late. These days customer service has been lacking (yes I know everyone is short handed) so we really appreciated the call & Mike T’s service.We will definitely use them again but pray we never need to.

2022-05-25Mike was about as professional and friendly in the business. He was honest with me and didn’t try to push any services that I did not need. That being said, I did not purchase the service this time, but because of his knowledge, professionalism and honesty (not to mention great personality) I will be using Roto-Rooter when the time comes. 2022-08-05We were able to get an emergency appointment on the day we called. Mike was very courteous and explained what the problem was. He took his shoes off when I asked, even though he had to keep going back outside into the pouring rain. The problem was completely solved in one visit, and he left us with preventative products to treat the drains. I am a very satisfied customer!
