Ive been pulling parts off of cars for 25 years. Always very low prices and a wide selection of vehicles that are constantly changing. They have become more and more organized over the years. Although they have become more selective about the types of scrap metal they are willing to pay for.
Got a set of 4 great tires here for a Volvo s80... VERY difficult size to find but they had them and at a great price for the set. They have a HUGE selection of cars in their yard for parts and all you need are shoes and tools to go get them. Good prices on everything.
Nice spot to pull parts. They (unlike another pick and pull) can at least tell you what vehicles they have on the lot so your not wasting your time looking for something thats not there. People working were very friendly. Would not hesitate to visit then for a fourth time.
Excellent used auto part yard, recommended! Just got to look and or wait to get the parts youre looking for. You want convenience, shop online. You want cheap, youll have to treasure hunt. If they inventoried every part in the yard, youd have to pay a heck of a lot more to cover the cost of staff to do the inventory.
I have been going there for over 20 years and they treat me great. it DOES exist on route 34 at the city limits north of town going toward weedsport. I think it is actually outside the city limit sign.it is a salvage yard, so they get cars that people no longer want. there are so many cars and parts coming and going from the place that they cant be expected to know if they have the part you need, but they may know if the car is on the lot or how many of them, roughly.if you have been to junk/salvage yards, then you already know that the workers are not the most cheerful workers out there, but compared to other yards pick n pull treats you the best.the prices there are competitive with other yards. sometimes more, sometimes less. when you call you will not have to wait long to talk to a real person. I recommend calling with any questions.
This is a notice to the people who read reviews and Scott Benjamin. After it was posted it was 2 to 3 weeks and then terminated. This was just found out when was told no longer able to be on property on the accusations of being a thief. After all this it had been deleted so it cant be seen. What kind of company lets this go on and dont even discuss the accused and just take actions. The management cant even talk face to face on this issue or any other. Furthermore it has been determined to not be a thief from falsely accused. These accusations are possibly going for further actions. Also watch out for your scrap weights on scale. Sometimes it is being put in manually and you lose some weight which loses money. More than one person has gone and got screwed and wont go back cause they asked about it.
Went there to get a rearview mirror. Asked what years work for the Van. Was told the wrong year. Found out after I took it down. Brought it up and was yelled at and told it was correct. Tried to put it on. It was not. Tried bringing it back. One person said you have the tag but Roland said no without a receipt. You could tell he knows he was wrong to give me the wrong one (as in let me leave with it in anger). I tried bringing it back again while going to get more parts. I wasnt as worried about getting the money back but figured it was worth a try. He yelled again then kicked me out and didnt let me back in. Too much ego there. Feel harrassed.
They do mark the itoms sold. This way if it dont work you can get back your money or exchange it for another part. They do weigh your vehicle & pay you for scrap metal that you have collected. You must have free on professionally removed before you bring in that itom. We have had no trouble with them so far. Honest people who know how to keep customers comming back for many of years.
Website said open till 6:30. I even called and and only got a recording. Made the 30 mile drive. Got there at 4:15 and they were closing. Would it kill them to update the website or put the new hours on the recording? They’ll never get another nickel of my money. Go to East Syracuse or Marcy.
Are these real people writing these reviews or is there just some glitch going around???Lets clarify a few things:1. Pick-N-Pull does exist. MJ, Im sorry you were mislead by the typical nasty person from this area. But if you dont believe it exists, just drive down North Street, headed toward the Interstate. It will be on the left just as you leave Auburn. For more clarification, its approx. 0.25 miles past the railroad tracks. Just to push this point, I uploaded the photo from Google Earth (see place photo). Just go to Google Maps and type in the address. It is quite real, and very full of cars, ready for picking through.2. For anyone who saw BG Auto Repairs review, consider that they are a business that earns their living through repairing your car, and they lose business when someone chooses to Do It Yourself and fix their own cars. Pick-N-Pull is the place for the Do-It-Yourself-er. It is sad to consider a business would try to bolster its own possible customers by claiming a different business isnt reputable. In addition....ITS A JUNKYARD for CARS....There is lots of gravel, cars being crushed, parts all over the place. Its going to get a little dirty. I have faith that most people intelligent enough to be fixing their own cars wont be bothered by a little dust on the floors from some guy who just dragged a gas tank up to the counter. That being said, the employees can be.....less than friendly at times, but are generally in pleasant moods, and only react that way when they have to deal with someone trying to get slick. All in all, if you need a part, and you dont want to pay high dollar for retail, check out Pick-N-Pull. And dont forget to ask the person at the counter what you are looking for. Their computer has a vast array of interchange information regarding most auto parts. And they even have a snack and soda machine in the lobby.I dont work there, Ive just been going there since I was young and have always found what I needed. If you dont like the place, dont go. But dont try to drag other people down to make yourself look better (BG AUTO REPAIR).
Watched a woman wander around with no tools or clue what she was really doing for over an hr in the rain. Think anybody cared to say boo! to the woman??? Nope, nobody cared. Totally female unfriendly. Proud to say that my husband isnt one of those men that can sit by and not help someone who clearly needs help.
The sale associate at the front desk Didnt know what part I was looking for gave me attitude hole time I was there when I asked to speak to a manager I got a response youre better off buying it somewhere else when I returned to talk to a *manager* I was interrupted by the sale associate (the one from earlier ) where the manager didnt know what that part was and instantly took his word for it all in all Ive never been so miss treated at a place of business such as this one Ill be driving to a different junk yard thats out of my way to not shop here again

2022-08-14Ive been to my fair share pick and pulls in mutiple states. And to every one i can find around Syracuse. Auburn pick and pull is only second to one i went to in Pennsylvania, but by far, best around Syracuse.

2022-01-18Clean establishment, good customer service.Prices on some things are fair, other things a little high. Their web site is good. But they dont keep their new inventory upto date. So hard to know what they got unless you actually go there. Which is very time consuming. Especially if you have to drive 20+ miles to get there. But then you might not find the parts your looking for.I own a small business, so this is a huge inconvenience to me. As time is money. So I will search other places websites & take my business there. Like Wilberts u pull. I have contacted rt34 u pull in auburn a few times. Twice by phone, & once by email. Regarding their new inventory list not being upto date.Plus I even took the drive a couple times Togo & check what they had. One Time was a success other didnt have what I was looking for. So being a 50/50 chance, each drive out there isnt good enough for me to keep doing. As time is money when you own a small business. If they start keeping the list upto date????? I will gladly be a return customer. Then give a 4 star review instead of 3.

2020-11-23This is a very well organized establishment. All the vehicles are lined up in neat rows, and all the rows are numbered very clearly. With plenty of room to maneuver around the vehicles in order to access any part you need to remove. Their prices are great, and the employees are friendly and helpful. The owner has done away with the entry fee for now in order to help ease the burden on his customers during these troubling times.

2020-10-05They quoted me three different prices for a driveshaft and then only refunded half the core. Decent selection of cars, nice enough guys, no gate charge... But these guys are crooks with the core and different prices. This has happened a couple times. Get your stuff there but be prepared to complain about prices/core refunds.

2018-10-30Love their commitment to recycling and reusing everything they can from a vehicle!Always had a pleasant experience with the guys there. You go, you pay $1.00 to get in the yard, you pick your own parts and save a good chunk of change.Youll pay for the part itself, then they add a core charge they will give you back if you bring in the part you replaced. For example: a transmission is $100 + $40 core charge, if you bring your old transmission in to be recycled you get the $40 back. If you dont, I guess thats the price you pay for not recycling. Its a large yard with row after row of cars already lifted so you can get underneath and get what you need. You do need to bring your own tools and know how to remove whatever you want. They dont do it for you. They do have some parts already pulled. Along with recycled antifreeze, wiper fluid and batteries. You can always check their website for information on their current inventory or give them a call.

2020-05-27The staff were extremely helpful in guiding me to the areas for the parts I needed. They also assisted with removing a piece I didnt need when I got to the counter. Great customer service and they have just about anything you may need.

2019-05-31This pick n pull was terrible. We called ahead they said they had several 7 lug rums. We drove 3 hours it was a waste of gas and time. They made us pay and they didnt have any rims. My advice is business should be shut down for false advertising and advice. Everyone dont bother wasting your time and gas goin there. I am sure there employees take the parts home for free. Customer service was terrible. Zero stars for that business
