These folks were incredibly rude and conned my family and I into buying a poorly made and maintained car! They talked down to me and treated me like garbage. While they have a decent selection of cars, the cars are not maintained well. They WILL break, sooner rather than later. And when they break, dont come to Kevins Royal Automotive because Kevin Harris will shame you into feeling like a fool for giving him money in the first place! I had a horrible experience and wish that no one will have the same thing happen to them. I am now out thousands of dollars from the car and the repairs, and that money could have gone to saving for future purchases (such as future cars with Kevins), my daughters college fund, etc. However, the car ate up so much money that I will never buy a car here again, and I question whether I can keep pouring money into this car. I regret my purchase.No, Kevin Harris, before you jump all over me here and harass me, my real name isnt Erica -- however, Kevin will try to hunt you down and say scathing remarks if you disagree with him, and Im legitimately afraid that he will find my number, call me, and scream at me. I was going to put a review on Facebook, but saw how you responded to some other people that gave you a low review.Bottom line, people- the folks at Kevins harass people. Are they people you would like to do business with? If you are, then youre a fool, and Kevins deserves your money.
If I could give these guys a 0 I totally would. They have tried to screw several family members of mine by pretending they were giving them a better vehicle than what they were getting or two not place the trade in on the agreement so that the trade-in would be free. Do not go here under any circumstances especially to get work done. They will try to find a way to get to you as well.
Highly disappointed... My check engine light was on in my Jeep Renegade so I took it to Royal Ford...... They said it was the thermostat..... So for a Royal Soaking of $352.00 thats what it cost me for the thermostat and 2 gallons of antifreeze !!!! Oh yes and All the Time it took to replace that thermostat and pour those 2 gallons of antifreeze in... Seriously will not ever buy another vehicle from Royal Ford or ever give them the opportunity to take me for a ride again !!....However....*If you want to be talked into something you cant afford....talk to Kevin Harris / Or Kara Harris !!*If you want to feel like you need to pay for your car all over again when your engine light comes on...Take it to Royal Ford.... where they can Royally Take you for a Ride !!
I purchased my 2016 Dodge Challenger Scat Pack at Kevins Royal Chrysler in Owego NY, Feb 2016. I cannot be more pleased with the cars performance and the purchase. I recommend everyone I talk with about my car and refer them to go to Royal Chrysler in Owego NY. The Challenger was my fourth car purchased with them. I am confident and a return customer for a number of reasons because I know Kevin and his sales staff are professionals and very knowledgeable about their products.. thank you and Ill be back.
When I’ arrived to this dealership I had told them that I have been preapproved through Chrysler capital But they still proceed to take all my information to run my credit after I told them that they needed to send information about the vehicle to Chrysler capital and they proceed to ignore me “strike 1 “and continue to run my credit to different locations.. they also told me that they did send the information into Chrysler capital so I call them to verify that and they lied “strike 2 “ they never sent no information about the vehicle to Chrysler .. so I call agin today to ask To ask them about my experience and to ask them about my experience and they listen , don’t worry strike 3 is coming, The lady took all my formation again my wife’ The lady took all my formation again my and I told him to run them for mission to Chrysler capital and I told him the vehicle that I want and she told me that I’m not gonna be able to afford that without looking into Chrysler capital first strike 3 ... how can you sit there and tell me what can I afford and what can I not afford
I TOOK MY JEEP INTO GET SERVICES FOR THE SECOND TIME FOR A ISSUE. THEY HAD IT FOR 3 DAYS AND SAID THEY CHANGED TIRES AND IT STILL DID THE SAME THING. I LEFT THE STORE AND BY TIME I HIT 40 MPH MY JEEP SOUNDED LIKE IT WAS IN A WIND TUNNEL. WE TRYED CALLING ALL DAY SAYING WE WOULD GET A CALL BACK FROM THE OWNER OR HIS NEXT IN LINE. THE STAFF BASICALLY KNEW IT WAS US CALLING AND DIVERTED OUR CALLS. TAMMY WHO SAID SHE WOULD CALL US BACK THAT DAY ALSO LEFT FOR THE DAY. I WILL TAKE MY JEEP ELSEWHERE AND CERTAINLY WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THERE SERVICE DEPARTMENT.

2022-06-25So about a year ago I started looking for a new car. During the chip crisis, when no dealerships were getting cars in, everything was in transit. I drove an hour west to that well-known two-name dealership, and met a young salesman (Frankie -dont forget it). He was a petulant, condescending, disrespectful child, who when I asked questions, told me hed sell it to someone else in an hour, so I didnt matter.He showed me ridiculous prices, and horrible interest rates, and said mark up is expected with the car on the lot. I walked out without buying the car, and never heard from him again. I felt a slight trauma at the interaction, and felt how strangely times have changed in the car buying business.Flash forward a year, and Id like you all to meet Chris. The salesman I worked with at Kevins Royal Auto in Owego. Chris clearly understands the old school mentality of car sales. He was patient, and kind, and funny. He spoke to me directly, even tho my husband was there, and treated me as tho this mattered to him, even tho this was during their event sales and there were many people milling around, willing to negotiate. He explained everything, not talking to me like a child, or as tho I dont matter. He took time, he was courteous and respectful. He was a gentleman and a cars salesman, all wrapped up into one. Hes trustworthy and honest, and spoke to me like I was a valued friend as well as a customer. I am truly grateful for this amazing deal, not the price, not the haggling, (although they were both great and I won a 50 tv at the event!), but mostly for the respect and the compassion he didnt even know he needed with me. Thank you, Chris. I wish you many successful years. And if you stop in for a Jeep, Dodge, Ram, Chrysler, or something off the other lots, tell him Sharon says Hi, and you rock. 😊

2020-10-08Estimate for doing work was off, when we received the final bill it was $100 over the estimate. Service never contacted us to let us know of the increase. Just said well Im sorry to be the bearer of bad news...They magically reduced th price down when I questioned them. They also told me it was a front wheel bearing which needed replacement then the final report said they replaced the rear bearing. Just be careful and dont take what they say for granted. I wont be doing business with them again.

2018-04-01Great place good people they treat you with respect the only thing is we want up to tell the person we got our vehicle from about a couple situations when we had left with the vehicle. Purchased and no problem whats going to fix it or whatever and really didnt do nothing we should be charged when we pull out of some place after just purchasing something and then come back and tell them about a few different things annoys were Hearing in the front and then to do with the leaking of the roof and then that person goes out comes back 2 seconds later and says its all fixed and now here we are every time it rains getting leaked on the noise is still clunking in the front and its like okay now were worried that if we take it back door just going to argue with us charge us to have it fixed when we address this situation and they claim two seconds after he went outside that it was fixed and it really wasnt so yeah other than that good place

2021-09-07Charged me 50$ to tell me something I told them when I dropped off my vehicle. Thanks for charging me for what I told you. And another thing never been to a garage that have to buy or bring anything to have a mechanic find out what the issue is thats why you bring a vehicle to a garage . Much less a dealer that is for that make of vehicle.

2020-09-12The entire service department takes good care you and your vehicle I appreciate the honest opinions and options your given when it comes to service that your vehicle needs. The pricing is a bit steep but the service you & your vehicle receive is worth it . My Ram 2500 is well taken care of !

2016-06-27Ive been buying vehicles at this dealership since 1999. In that time Ive never had a bad experience. Tami Farley and Mike Counts have been very helpful in getting what fits my needs and wants. The service department takes me in at my convenience.

2016-06-29Had an amazing experience purchasing my new Jeep Wrangler. Second vehicle my wife and I have purchased from Mikey. (Outstanding Salesperson) The entire Royal Group made me feel at ease and welcomed at their location. Even spoke with the Service/Parts Department personnel and genuinely felt taken care of even though I wasnt even dealing with their department. Would recommend sending anyone who was looking to purchase a new or used vehicle to give them a chance to make their buying experience as good as mine.
