Edit June 2022 - GE sent their own technician. Finally got a brand new washer.Edit: Apr 2022 - Contacted GE Consumer Relations. They overnighted the part to me, & are coordinating them to fix the washer. My issue is it is common sense -if GE sent you the wrong part, why come to the home multiple times? Just get the part first.I made a GE service appointment for November 29th 2021 for a brand new washer I purchased from Home Depot which was broken. Home Depot would not take the return and RTV appliances came on December 10th 2021, stating the wrong part was delivered by GE. They came back again January 18th 2022 to tell us the part was wrong again. It is now March 2022 and they have not gotten back to me. I contacted GE Customer Relations to change the provider because the problem has not been resolved.
Months later still no part for my dishwasher have to hold every time for almost an hour to speak to someone! Now they are ordering from a different place I am still waiting this is the worst place ever and I don’t ever right bad reviews. I have been waiting since may and it’s the end of august this is disgusting!
Horrible customer service they do not answer the phone the tech came to my house to check on my refrigerator 22 days ago and still have not hear form rtv appliances on the part for my refrigerator i have call them and email them and still no answer they should no be in business yes i hope rtv sees this and finally call me back
I see all the negative reviews but my experience was actually quite fine. Yes, Donna does not answer the phone all the time, but I simply leave messages and she calls back. Their guys Josh and Andrew were quick to diagnose the issue with my refrigerator, they were upfront on the price to repair, they ordered a replacement part right there on the spot and they came when they said they would.In fact, because I had defrosted my fridge before Andrew came, it took him only 20 minutes to replace a part (instead of using a hair dryer for an hour) and he adjusted my invoice down to consider that it took less time - which I thought was a real stand-up thing to do.My experience was nothing but positive.
My claim request was opened by Home Depot on August 24, i had the RTV technician visit my home and mentioned me that parts need to be replaced. I waited for 2 weeks and didnt hear anything from RTV. I followed up to RTV and come to know that claim was closed mentioning it is fixed. I explained them that my stove is not fixed yet and no one showed up to replace the parts. They mentioned me that they will send someone again. I thought they will send someone to replace the parts but they again send technician to check what was wrong. This happend 3 times. This was the worse service i ever received in my life. On the top of that technician was kind of lost as he was in the same house 3 times just to check again what was wrong and showing us an attitude when we tried to explain that he supposed to be coming with parts. Now home Depot is looking for another service center to fix the stove. Today is Oct 12 and still waiting for get my stove fixed. None of the manufacturers should use RTV services.. Very unprofessional and you will be on call for ever when you call them for any status..
AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Sadly the negative reviews are true. After not hearing from GE (the manufacturer of the appliance I need serviced) or this repair center a week after my diagnostic appointment I called GE. The representative had a very hard time getting through to them and when she got back on the line with me she said they did not start a case or submit any paper work. Extremely irresponsible. She helped me set up a NEW service appointment with a technician from a different center. Dont waste your time with this place.
Absolutely terrible customer service. A tech showed up to my place for 2 mins to diagnose a faulty ice maker, this was over 2 months ago. No follow up on my claim , they do not answer the phones at all. I have been trying to get a hold of someone from this company with no luck this entire time. If I could mark this zero stars I would. In my 20+ years of customer service, never have I experienced such a pathetic excuse for a respectable business. Month 3 no ice maker on a 6k fridge.
This is NOT a company you will ever want to deal with. The calls are let to ring for long times and then you will likely get hung-up on for ringing their phone so much. They make appointments they never intend to keep. This is business at its worst. And I say all this because of the dispatcher that is answering the phones/Not answering the phones and hanging-up on you.
We requested a service call from Frigidaire because our vegetables and fruit in the bottom drawers of our refrigerator were freezing. Josh from RTV gave it glance over (no more than 30 seconds, and I am being generous!) and determined that the problem was a result of defective Frigidaire product. All Frigidaires are having this problem, and you need to call Frigidaire to request parts. I mentioned my food on the top shelf is also freezing Yeah! Its problem, just move the food away from the vent. Nothing can be done about it. Josh then said that all follow up was on me, call Frigidaire to order the parts, ( I had to ask him for then name of the parts)and follow up with Frigidaire.Needless to say, totally UNPROFESSIONAL.Spoke to Frigidaire CS and they claim this response is not the protocol and they mishandled the service call completely. Hence, they have scheduled a new visit with a new service company.Do not waste your time with this service place.
Anthony diagnosed problem 6/14/22 Andrew here 6/19/22 Appt 12-3..here at 12 and pulled out frigidaire 😡2nd replacement fridge fixed slipped fan n ordered replacement part for ice maker that is cracked AGAIN that was repaired last year ( it’s not 2 yrs old til 7/20/22. life is good once again .. thank you both - GGMA
Absolutely awful. I needed them for warranty service on my speed queen washing machine. I tried calling them at least 10x, impossible to get somoen on the phone. I text them on the # the suggest on their recording, and they didnt reply there either. I finally spoke to a woman after calling Speed Quen again. She was helpful for a minute, had the part ordered...a month passed and I heard nothing. I emailed multiple times and she finaly got back to me to schedule service. They sent someone on a Saturday who was 100% drunk and ended up BREAKING the replacement part, and later said the part was defective. He was able to get someone on the phone while at my house to order the new part, and was told it was on backorder, and then a month later still havent heared from them. Quite possibly the WORST customer service experience Ive ever experienced.
I have a service contract through Electrolux. RTV services through Electrolux. RTV is the most unreliable company I’ve had to deal with. They never answer the phone even when I call within the business hours. Beware if your service contract puts in in touch with this repair.When a scheduled appointment is made no one shows up. This happened to me twice. I will refuse service from the company when Electrolux suggests this repair company.
Company is no good. I Scheduled warranty repair appointments with them through Home Depot. First appointment no show no call. Home Depot got them again for second appointment. Again. No show no call. I could never reach them on the phone or txt. Horrible. Be ware. Don’t call them. Now looking for a different repair company to come and repair my fridge.
I am sharing my experience although based on the number of negative reviews on Google about RTV APPLIANCE it is obvious that either the receptionist Donna (who does not answer the phone or respond to text messages, who only will email you without so much as an apology for the issues and has zero customer skills) is not telling the Owner Andy about the problems or Andy cares less than Donna. How they’re still in business with these reviews, and how GE continues to use them as a partner is beyond me. My only recourse is to advise GE and hopefully remove them as a vendor so other customers will not experience the total lack of professionalism by the only face to RTV which is RUDE DONNA. GE advised that RTV never ordered the part a month ago- RTV advised they did order the part but GE never processed. Either way RTV screwed up by either not ordering the part or by ordering the wrong part. And after a month, what is RUDE DONNA’s response- “I reordered, it will be 7-10 business days. Seriously? Is that someone who is focused on the customer and trying to correct an issue she caused? Bottom line RTV does not care about customers or customer service. Any positive review can only be a family member trying to offset the negative. Run as fast as you can in the opposite direction of this company and post on every website you know of to spare someone else of this customer service horror show.
Dont return calls been worrying 6days for a call bank mis diagnosis my laundry center told me it was a mother board then the motor n it was slipped belt off the tensioner n then I guess they expect to get paid from Electrolux also Anthony the tech came never opened the dryer which only took 6 screws I ended up doin the repair my self Ill be calling Electrolux to complain
Absolutely awful company to deal with from not answering the phone to not responding to emails to setting up the repair appointment yesterday after weeks of waiting for the part AND no one called OR showed up! Waited all day! No technician and the office is closed on Saturdays so you can’t even reach someone to inquire! We were told to use this awful company because it was part of a service for an appliance with an extended warranty from Home Depot!! If I could have zero stars, I would!! Never ever use this company!!
RTV Appliance is terrible. Initially, I had service for a Frigidaire AC window unit. The technician showed up, and diagnosed that a new fan/motor was needed. And then ... weeks went by, and it turns out the new fan/motor was never ordered. Furthermore, RTV Appliance ignored numerous email inquiries that I had sent. I ended up having to call Frigidaire directly, and the part was finally sent to me. So then I called RTV to schedule a technician to install the part. We set a date. However, no one showed up. So I tried again. And we set another date. And for the second time ...it was a no-show. Furthermore, no one from RTV even bothered to call me to cancel or let me know what was going on. Since then, they have disappeared. No one has contacted me. And no one answers the phone when I try to call. So unprofessional, unreliable, and inconsiderate of their customers time. If I could give negative 5 stars, I would. I pay for an extended service agreement every year (through Frigidaire/Electrolux), and I cannot even get proper repair service. What am I even paying for? Electrolux should NEVER use this company again. Extremely disappointed customer.
RTV was sent by Electrolux for my Frigidaire stove. They came...didnt have the part. They left and I have not been able to contact. Left messages...they DO NOT return calls. All these bad reviews I have just read are spot on. This is a sub-level company. I will report to Electrolux. Why would they use this unprofessional company?
READ ALL REVIEWS! TERRIBLE COMPANY!!!A Bosch oven delivered broken and received this “company” as a repair service. When the oven was moved to be inspected the counters and floor were scratched. After waiting two weeks for a part, then another week for the install date, a new issue was found with the oven. More scratches on the counter... now it’s been three months, through the holidays, and my oven doesn’t work. The scratches in my counter won’t be able to be fixed. THE COMPANY IS UNRESPONSIVE! They will not acknowledge the damage and refuse to help us. “You should find a new repair service.” Was the last I heard from them. The worst kind of people to deal with.
These people are the worst.Horrible technician and even worse customer service. RTV schemes you by charging a fee to come see what the problem is, not knowing how to fix it, ordering a part that is not broken and then never returning. I have called and left countless voicemails, on hold for 50mins+ each time, and cannot speak with a human.I would highly recommend you find a professional to fix your machine and not use RTV, this scam of a company!
I have been without a refrigerator for almost a week. They came and said it needed a specialist. They do not return phone calls and made a second appointment and called to confirm time and no one had the courtesy to call back. cancelled the appointment over text as they dont answer their phone
Honest, fair and extremely reliable. I am very very happy with them, after calling several companies to fix my fridge, and one showing up but was unable to fix it, RTV showed up, diagnosed the problem and fixed it. They showed up when they said they would, explained what the problem was and did exactly what they said they would. I would highly highly recommend them. So very happy to finally have found a reliable and honest appliance repair company! THANK YOU!!!!
Worst of the worst. Frigidaire referred me to use them to repair the freezer as the appliance was under the warranty. Frigidaire scheduled the date and time, but this company did not show up the first time or notify us at all. When the repair person came, he didnt even take off his shoes, and walked with the shoes on in our house. The nose was not completely covered with the mask at all. We had to do a complete disinfecting when he left. He promised me that he would follow up to order the parts. Months later, no one at all called from his office. I left many messages and emailed to [email protected], but again, all I hear is crickets.
GE sent this company for a parts replacement. I have called , emailed texted daily for an update. GE has called them. They return no calls, give no information, and perform no service. Stay as far away as you can. I do not feel any manufacture should use them for service - they are not reputable.
Waiting for a repair to be completed since April. I was charged over $500 for an incomplete repair and was promised a service person would return in a week to complete. Calls go unreturned and when I get someone they make promises and then they never follow up. Rare that they even pick up calls. I have been on hold waiting for a call to be picked up on 3 occasions for over 30 minutes each time.
Had a Power Failure issue with my Frigidaire dishwasher. It was covered under warranty, and Frigidaire assigned RTV Appliance to take a look. They showed up to the appointment and inspected the dishwasher and right away said I needed a new control board. That these models through a design flaw always experience this issue. They said they would order the part and call me soon as they have it to schedule the repair appointment. After two weeks I followed up with them and they said it typically takes 7 to 10 business days. Ok, now its been 4 weeks and still no word from this company. Anyway, my electrician came by two weeks ago, and noticed an issue in my electrical panel that was affecting the dishwasher. Soon as he fixed the issue in the panel, the dishwasher was back to working as normal. Thanks for nothing RTV. Ill be sure to let Frigidaire know so not to use you guys for any future appliance repair needs.
Stay away. I was not able to submit with 0 stars. I was put in touch with RTV appliance in May. It is now August. They booked an appointment to fix my Electrolux stove and they no showed. When I contacted Electrolux I was told that RTV didnt have the part. When I asked them to reach out again and ask RTV why they said they had the part and booked a follow up appointment Electrolux was told that the wrong part that came in but gave no explanation as to why they couldnt contact me. i lost a day of work and still no stove. They are extremely unprofessional. Look elsewhere if you need something fixed.
Wow. The “office manager” is so unprofessional and immature. She should not be allowed to talk to customers. I was referred to this company by Electrolux. They came last Tuesday and the tech told me I needed a part that they did not have. He said he was emailing the rep and would get back to me in 1-2 bus days. I left 3 messages- no call back. I called today and got the office manager that told me “sorry we don’t have the part” call Electrolux and get an update we can no longer get help?” So it took more then a week for them to tell me they don’t have the part and they can’t help??? “She said I don’t know what to tell you! you want a working fridge or not?” This women ended up hanging up on me. I made sure Electrolux was aware of situation and should really not use them in the future it makes them look bad. STAY AWAY.
I feel this company purposfully misbooks appointments and has no explanation for it other than rebooking and once again noit showing up. Mistakes happen but not 3 times in a row plus the fact the cusomter service is thee worst with no one answering phone 90% of time and zero communicaiton. Multiple times my appointment was confimred and I even got a text messege 30 mins before at 4pm that my tech was on his/her way and that gave me hope someone would show up after the previous no show but I was disapointed again. I set aside time from my busy work week too. Very frustrating.
Probably the worst customer service experience ever - I was referred to them by Frigidaire for service on a dishwasher. They came, determined I needed a part, which they said they would order, and I never heard from them again. I have called maybe 6 times, and emailed them twice.. Absolutely worthless.
I am very disappointed with the services I received for this company.In the early part of January a repair came and replaced a damaged part in the refrigerator. paid over $200. for the replaced part. At the beginning of this month the part was not working. Ill called this company numerous times and left voicemails to get someone to come and check the refrigerator again. and even send emails but as of this day I have heard from anyone. I think it appalling how RTV appliances is running their business
RTV is servicing my manufacturers warranty with Electrolux. I have been waiting 2 weeks since the technician came to my house and said he needed to order a part to fix my washer. HAVE NOT HEARD FROM THEM SINCE. have tried calling numerous times without getting through. Only once was I actually able to speak to a person who said he had no idea what was happening with my account and no idea when/I’d they would be back to fix the washer. This is completely ridiculous and an awful way to treat customers. AVOIDUpdate: after calling and calling we were told the part was “on its way” then we were told the part was out of stock. After asking to speak to management we were told RTV would no longer be servicing our contract and hung up on.Still: AVOID
Awful doesnt even begin to explain it! We were directed to this company by Frigidair to have our dishwasher repaired (shame on them for recommending such a poor quality service!) and were able to schedule an appointment fairly easily. We called to confirm the appointment and to ask if they could give us a ballpark figure of what the repair would cost. The man on the phone had no clue and didnt bother to offer to find us more information. The technician showed up within the agreed upon timeframe (the only good part of this experience) and said they needed to replace a water valve and that the part would have to be ordered. He also said they would contact us when the part arrived within 7-10 business days and to schedule a time for them to come and finish the repair.About a month went by with zero contact from them so we decided to finally reach out. The girl that we spoke with on the phone had no idea what was going on and said that she would call us later when more help came in and she would get us an answer. She never called back so we decided to reach out again. She was finally able to tell us that the part was not there yet and that she didnt have a tracking number for the part to see where it was. To me this means the part was never ordered and nobody bothered to reach out to us to let us know what was going on. Needless to say we told her not to bother and that we would get the repair done from someone else.Our superintendent recommended someone to us and they were able to get the dishwasher repaired the same day without replacing any parts! So not only did RTV appliance have horrible customer service, their technicians are also either incompetent or were trying to scam us by replacing a part that did not need to be replaced.Would never do business with these people again and neither should anyone else!
HORRIBLE! I bought a refrigerator from them and the refrigerator NEVER worked. The freezer never froze and the refrigeration part never cooled to appropriate temperature. I called for a repair visit and it was never honored, appointment never upheld. Then they promised a replacement, set up time for the switch and never showed. It has been three weeks and I STILL do not have a working refrigerator. i was in conversation with Shawney and he promised a pick up and refund and never showed. Now he has blocked me from messenger. Now I sit on hold awaiting another excuse. DO NOT buy anything from this company!!!!
I deal with repair companies daily but this is by far the most ridiculous one of them. They will come to charge you 160$ service call promise you the parts on the next visit and that is the last time you will see or hear anything from them. Please stay away as far as you can.
Not sure how Rods received so many mixed reviews, but I can tell you this I have used Rods and dealt with Andrew every time, and have had the most pleasant and relaxed experience with him. He is probably on of the most knowledgeable technicians I have met in a long time. Has a great persona, great people skills, very honest and fair. I have always been pleased when he has come to service my appliances. Please read this post and understand that as a technician myself it is very hard for me to find someone that I can say has the same work ethics as I do. But ANDREW DEFINITELY DOES. Give them the chance to service your equipment and do not let a missed call late call or change of schedule on their part be the reason you do not use them. Thanks again Andrew “your the best”👍👍👍👍👍👍
Extremely disappointing- needed repair for my refrigerator and the Electrolux (parent company of Frigidaire) scheduled an appointment for me. I called six times the day before to confirm but no one picked up. They never showed and continued to not pick up even for Frigidaire representatives. I don’t know why they continue to us this company but they are horrendous as it comes to appointments and following up with the appointments. If Electrolux (Frigidaire) schedules and appointment for you with them - ASK THEM TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT WITH SOMEONE ELSE.2.1 stars should tell you about he quality of their service.
Horrible service from the initial call. Over half an hour or more on hold, without any reason. The receptionist is either high or half asleep, and they dont seem professional or gave any careIts unfortunate such disgusting negligence is ruining American business integrity.
Do not use .... customer service is horrible!!! Frigidaire referred them for warranty repair on refrigerator. After waiting 3 months for back ordered part from them I called manufacturer and got part in one week.Then they didn’t show up twice for scheduled appt. to change the part. When asked to speak with manager was told they are not around. Good luck getting them to answer the phone too. BBB rating is an. “F” .
LIARS- LIARS--run from these people ! I had a wine cooler compressor needing replacing. After their initial evaluation, they kept saying that the part was being ordered. They made several appointments to come and fix the item but never showed up. After a few weeks they told me that it was being shipped overnight. They then said it had arrived and made yet another appointment and once again failed to show up. Along the way I had spoken with the person who claimed to be the manager and who also assured me the part was in and confirmed my appointment. I eventually got the compressor ordered and replaced with no problem by going elsewhere.
Worst company ive ever dealt with. They sold me a broken dryer. I had to harras them to come and try to fix it. And after 2 months when someone finaly showed up they took the whole thing apart and left it in a million pieces promising he would return the next day with the right piece. A week later when he finaly showed up after ignoring my phone calls he showed up with the wrong piece. So again he promised he would be back the next day...its been a month and ive been calling everyday. They have given me 4 fake appointments where no one shows up. And now they either blocked me or just stopped picking up their phone because of so many ppl calling after being robbed by these ppl. They also go by several names. Another one being “Rod’s Certified Appliances” and they have random ppl post their stuff for sale on facebook. If my dryer is not repaired/put back together or replaced withing the next couple weeks i will take legal action,contact others who have been had by these ppl and expose them to the right athorities. AND i would recomend anyone who has been screwed over by them to do the same so no one else is robbed for their hard earned money.
Great company. They respond to your emails or calls quickly and get the job done! I am very pleased with the washer/dryer I bought here. It works like a dream and they installed it for me. The workers were so neat and fast with the installation. I love that they treated me like a valued customer.
I contacted a gentlemen about a fridge and stove, came in due time- there were issues with both pieces the fridge not being cold enough my food spoils and the temperature constantly rising the freezer section underneath ice pan water is dripping creating and ice spear, in the freezer- My oven doesn’t heat up takes a very very long time to preheat. called monday March 2nd for someone to come service the following day March 3 no one showed up and I received zero called. Then tried again called Thursday March 5th for service on Friday March 6th no one showed up- very very horrible service, and I’m displeased with the service.
Home Depot Protection Plan people scheduled me for the repairs on Monday, April 29th. On Friday, April 26th I got a call from RTV and they reviewed the problem and are ordering the part needed and will get the work done as soon as the parts arrive or next week.As a wounded, disabled, decorated, veteran living on a fixed income I was happy with their service.I am quite sure that they will overdeliver and when they do they will be recognized even more.All work was completed by RTV and I was overimpressed by their service and responsiveness.I STRONG RECOMMEND THEM
Terrible service... non-responsive... total waste of my time... this company came to my house and promised a quick response and resolution to a broken air conditioner... weeks have gone by and I cannot even get them to return my numerous phone calls or numerous texts... they obviously just do not care about customers... is is surprising they are even continuing as a business... I purchased a refrigerator from them less than one week it went out not getting cold!! I called they say they will replaced it or come to fix it has been over 2 months and nothing!! They were the subcontractors through Home serve cam,e to fix the refrigerator . had to order a part took 3 weeks to come back after multiple calls and then the following day we had a leak under the refrigerator ! Its now been one Month and no one has come by yet to see whats going on./ I spoke to them at least 3 times and promised to show up and never showed up.Terrible service will not recommend
Came to fix an AC unit under warranty in August. They said they had to bring to shop to fix. A month later I havent heard back from them. Tried calling their number and it just keeps ringing. No voicemail, no receptionist. Summer is now over and I might not need the unit until next summer.
I recommend this place to all of my friends. Ive bought my fridge and washer dryer set from here for a really good price. I did have an issue with my washer but once I was able to get a technician out he very friendly and knew exactly what he needed for the repair. It did take almost 2 weeks to get the part in but it waa covered by the warranty and I havent had any other problems since.
I’m giving 1 star because 0 is not an option. I was given an appointment from 10-1 at 2 I was told it would be 4. Naturally I’m frustrated as I’ve been dealing with this issue for some time. This woman “ELIZABETH” has horrible customer service horrible attitude zero regard for customers at all. She ended our phone call with “I hope your life gets better”. I called back to get her name and Inform her I’d be reporting to BBB her response “well I’m reporting you for being a bad customer” Excuse me who do you think you’re talking to. If I didn’t have other things to do I would’ve gone straight to the store to see if she had that same energy....DO NOT GO HERE PERIOD. Going to BBB is pointless their grade is a ‘F’ anyway.
I would like to thank Jose for his kindness and patience when he came to check my air conditioner. As it turned out, there was nothing wrong with it, and Joses reassurance set my mind at ease. He is a very polite and knowledgeable young man, as opposed to the rude guy at AID Services, Rick, who flat out stated that he didnt want to do business with me just because I asked him if he could narrow the time frame from 7am to whenever!
THE WORST. STAY FAR, FAR AWAY! They dont show up when scheduled, never call. I wish I could give them ZERO stars because thats what they deserve.They make going to DMV a pleasure by comparison. They are a Lowes-endorsed repair shop but with service like this, they wont be for long. They have ZERO regard for customers. an absolute disgrace.
Horrendous. They didn’t show up when they said they would with absolutely no call or explanation. We just waited around for several hours. When I called to inquire what happened, the repairman muttered and grumbled under his breath and actually said, “Whatever” like an angsty teen who didn’t want to do his chores.I’ve never had such awful customer service in my life. To add insult to injury, when they eventually did come (a week later and an hour after the window they gave us) the dryer worked for a little bit and just broke again. Now they can’t send another repair person to fix their mistake until next week. Absolutely infuriating. Never use this company.
I recently just started some home renovations and decided it was time for some new appliences. When I arrived I was helped right away and a man named Corey help me find he perfect fridge for my home. Everything was just as he had said and they have prices that you cant beat. Overall I had an amazing experience purchasing from them and I could not be happier !!!
HORRIBLE COMPANY!! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! They sell on Facebook Marketplace where they scam buyers. Purchased something which was delivered and didnt work fully. They hardly answer the phone and when they do they tell you someone is coming to fix the problem and NEVER show up! They say one thing and do another. They will sell you a broken item and never do anything about it. They say they have a service plan for 6 months but its nonsense because no one will pick up your call or come!
After we had a full day of awful experiences with the rude and incompetent secretaries at this place, the owner called us personally well after business hours to find out what happened. When we explained all that had occurred, he apologized profusely and went out of his way to make it right. He even offered to come to our house for a repair at 9 pm to accommodate us, and when we told him we felt bad having him work so late, he was extremely kind and promised to come first thing the following morning - and he did. He was at our house by 7:30 a.m. and was able to fix two appliance issues successfully and quickly.Dont let any bad experiences with the immature, unprofessional, classless, and highly incompetent administrative staff sway your business here. They are working on finding better people to do the simple stuff. The owner is wonderful, and they deserve your business!
Absolutely worst customer service Ive ever delt with. Got into contact with them through the app LetGo where I was ignored time and time again, and when I called the store to ask a question the employees seemed like they didnt even know where they were working and told me I would get a call back within the hour. Days later I called up again and they claimed to have no idea what I was talking about. Ended up getting a much better deal within minutes at C&J in Freeport. Avoid this business at all costs.
Horrible customer service. Unfriendly and unwilling to rectify their error. Nearly impossible to get someone on the phone…I was on hold for nearly 45 mins before I finally got through to a rude and unhelpful associate. They do not respond to their scheduling text messages (which they encourage you to use)I understand why the reviews are so poor.
This is an scan. It has been over 1 month since they apparently ordered the part and I keep calling them and they say it is on its way. I called again today and the guy said that my order was a backward order. He said, “ let me order the part again”. Come on is has been over a month. They never ever call me for anything, never. Stay away from this company.

I missed about a week of work having to be home for these liars never showing up!. AND they sold Us an appliance that didn’t even work from day one! 3 weeks later, still doesn’t works. Worst service company in the world!!!!!! If I can give 0 star I would. They had my air conditioner to be fix sin June 16 2020, no answer, nobody know about my ac and when finally appears on July 29th 2020 they didn’t touch the air conditioner it came with the same problem.
No stars, they promise all and deliver nothing.no communication . 4 times they did not show and repair as promised. the unit hasnt worked since it was delivered. they dont answer the phone, call back, its very frustrating . we have no refrigerator now for close to a month. dont let this happen to you.
I had a service call on a dish washer that was unders warranty the electric box was burnt up after fixing the dishwasher the man forgot to put brackets back to keep dish washer secure I have been calling them they do not return calls nor do they answer them finally I scheduled two appointments one last Saturday no show and now today again two days waiting for them 🛑DO NOT USE THEM THEY SUCK told theramador not to pay them 👎👎🛑
Very bad service, I bought a refrigerator with 6 months warranty, it was damaged and 2 times they gives me an appointment, nobody came, then someone came and said that I had to give another one because that does not work, I have 2 weeks calling and Elizabeth she doesnt answer me or call me, yesterday I called from another cell phone and he answers me and says I dont hear anything I hang up and now nobody answers, Im very upset about being so irresponsible
If I could give them minus five stars I would. The repair technician who came to the house to repair my refrigerator was great. My fridge was not a year old and still under warranty. After inspection he advised that he was ordering a new ice maker and replacing both the freezer and refrigerator gaskets. This was July 14. About a month later I started calling for an update on if the parts had been received and to schedule installation. RTB has three points of contact: direct phone, text and email. The fist time I called phone rang for almost one hour with no answer. I texted 3/4 times no response. I called 8/4 and finally got a person who told me to call back the end of the next week. 8/18 I called again one hour and 48 minutes later I got a person. She told me the ice maker hadn’t been ordered because it was not covered by warranty and the refrigerator gasket hadn’t been ordered because the repair guy who came didn’t order it. I disputed this and they said they would investigate and call me back the next day. 8/19. Of course no call back and after multiple calls and hours on unanswered calls I got a person. They are not replacing the primary reason I called-the ice maker. After all if this the warranty really wasn’t worth the paper it is printed on. I will be calling the Frigidaire company to advise the repair company they are using are worthless. Lesson learned

2021-12-21Since September I have been waiting for my dishwasher repair. The guy came in a timely manner but I have had to call, text, email constantly to get any status. Was told finally one part was still not in. I understood and just asked to be updated. That was a month ago.No one answers the phone, returns my texts or emails. Not good business. This company was recommended by Frigidaire and as I have looked at all the reviews not sure why.Using paper plates again for the holiday.

2022-06-20I wish I had something nice to say. I understand back order of parts but machine says text them …text program hasn’t worked in months yet still on their machine they say contact them that way. They don’t return any calls nor emails. They tell me they don’t have the manpower. It’s been over a month and they haven’t had any contact with me after they ordered parts. Still not eta or hopes in a call back. I’ve been nice and tried over and over again. Wish it was different.

2022-02-17All of the negative reviews are very much true. I requested a service call through GE to fix my range microwave (more expensive than a typical microwave since it also provides ventilation for cooking) and they assigned me to RTV. They came and couldn’t fix it saying they would need to order a control panel and reschedule the service. Two weeks passed with no update. I called and texted over and over, leaving messages. It’s true that they never pick up the phone or return phone calls or other communications. Even GE reps tried to contact them and they did not pick up. It has been over a month since they came back in January. Turns out the part was in stock at GE and they never bothered to do anything about it. They just go silent and ghost you after the first service call. I’m pretty sure the only reason they are in business is because of being a GE service provider. I highly recommend to avoid this place altogether or try to get GE to re assign your case somewhere else and have the parts ordered directly to your house. RTV is highly unprofessional and completely non responsive. I plan to leave a complaint with GE in hopes that if enough people complain they will cut them off as service providers. Who knows if they will but it’s the best I can do to attempt to hold this place accountable for their actions.

2022-08-04Wish I could give them a negative 10 review. I had to deal with them back in May, and now in July, the SAME exact situation. Unfortunately, this is one of Frigidaires repair companys. They never confirm an appointment in advance. You call, nobody answers a phone. You leave a message, nobody calls you back. They tell you to send a text, and never respond. You get an 8-12 appointment window, and then they call the day of the appointment, to confirm your 1-5 appointment!!! In May they sent a tech that looked no more than 15 years old with the same attitude as a 15 year old! I told them not to bother showing up today, and called Frigidaire to file a complaint against this company. This is absolutely not a customer service friendly business.

2022-07-07I had a service scheduled today for my Haier Refrigerator. The guy called earlier this morning and said he would be out between 12 and 3. OK. At 2:15 I got a voice mail from the office saying they wanted to schedule my appointment for next week. I called back and told them I am currently waiting for the guy to come. She placed me on hold to look into this. When she came back on, she giggled and said that it was canceled, something came up and the guy cant come. First they said it was canceled because I didnt confirm. I told them that was bull(oney). I did get upset because of their attitude. Then someone else got on the phone and said they dont have to reschedule because of my attitude and hung up. I tried calling back but no answer. I called GE again and asked if they can place a service call with a different company, which they did. I also told them about my experience along with all of these negative comments and suggest they dont use them as their go-to. I am so stressed out right now. Thank all of you for posting. I thought it was me.

2022-07-22My 2-year old Kitchenaid refrigerator was not cooling properly due to a poor installation. (The temperature would rise to 72 degrees!) I had to duct tape it shut. My company is under service contract with Home Depot. This is the worst lying company out there and Home Depot should be ashamed of themselves for using them. They set up an appointment with Josh and he never showed -- twice. Anthony shows, a nice fellow, he listened and took notes on what was wrong. He said that Andrew, the owner, would come to make a decision on the parts to fix it.Well, guess who shows up? Josh. I inquired as to where Andrew was. He responded that he was sent. Well after showing him Anthonys notes and he took the temperature of the fridge, he said it is working. I said it is taped shut. He acknowledged the poor installation and was on the phone Andrew. He then turns to me and my husband and says, Im done and thats it. I said what does that mean. My husband, who was present asked the same question several times. After a bunch of unintelligible words, he responded that he was on to his next appointment. I yelled, No, you are not leaving until you do something for my fridge! He then said that he would call 911 if I did not let him leave. I said what?? You are not going to do anything to which he replied flatly, No. Call the tech department. He then left abruptly while cursing. He jumped into a car with someone else driving and gave me the finger through the window.I then called RTV and told them about it. She put me on hold and came back to the phone and said basically that all the techs had a problem with me and they would not be sending anyone else to my house. I was flabbergasted. I said All *WHAT* techs, I only had Anthony who was nice and even offered him a beer to him and the other person that was with him. He also gave me his phone number. That is impossible! I said. I knew then that this company was lying all the while and had no intentions of fixing anything. This company needs to be sued or closed down. They are a joke! They lie incessantly and try to cover their own butts.

2022-02-10Wish I could give them a “zero”Dealing with RTV Appliance Service Inc also known as Rod’s TV Service, a service contractor with Asurion has been a total nightmare.They first came to my home on 11/30/21 for a service call and said they were ordering my parts. Well that turned into them calling and saying they had to pick up my washing machine and take it to their office. They picked up my washing machine on 12/21/21. Called, emailed and sent text messages several times with no response. When Asurion finally called they started providing them with answers.Long story short my machine was finally returned on 2/8/22 at 10pm at night. We were told by the delivery man not to run the machine yet because it was on the truck a few days.Run the machine yesterday morning 2/10/22 and there is sand after every wash! Sand.I’m fed up and will just be contacting a lawyer.

2022-02-24Ive been put in touch with company by GE as a result of my BRAND NEW GE Cafe range touch screen start button not working. I can only control the oven with my phone, lucky that function still works. The tech showed up and said it would be about 2 weeks for the part to arrive. Here I am a month and a week later, still waiting for the repair. I had to call them to ask for an update, which they dont have, just that the part was ordered. No tracking information, the supervisor doesnt provide information to the receiptionist, Pat. Ive complained to GE that they should not be giving any business to this company and put their customers through this madness.

2022-03-27If you have a appliance insurance through Asurion and this is the company that they suggest will handle your repair, immediately without hesitation ask for a different service center. Unless of course you want to be dragged through the mud with endless phone calls, emails, false promises of a part coming in, a call back etc. This is if they even pickup the phone. I can’t understand how they are even in business. I hope I save someone’s valuable time and they avoid this dumpster fire of a repair center.

2022-05-03I had an issue with my refrigerator door. I called fridgidair and they sent this company to repair the door. To their defense they did come right out like the next day, but after that it was silence. I waited 5 weeks, called, left messages, no answer, no return call. I just called fridgidair back and they said a work order was never even put in from RTV for this repair/replacement.Unfortunately if your reading this review you are probably already dealing with them. But if your manufacturer recommends this company, just request a different company. I called fridgidair back and they are sending a new company out. Best part fridgidair even tried to get in touch with them while on the phone with me and they couldnt.Shame I live in Farmingdale too, you try and give a company the benefit of the doubt, but these guys dont care. I guess they have big contracts and just care about small jobs.
