I moved to downtown Buffalo a little over a year ago and I’ve been to Russo’s a handful of times for various services for my 2013 Audi. I’m not normally one to write a review but every time I call or stop in the service and work done to my car have been A++++ quality!! I highly recommend Russo’s, they’re not your average car repair shop. In my most recent visit, Joe was very helpful in diagnosing an issue I was having and getting it fixed for me in a timely manner without breaking the bank or trying to sell me something I didn’t need. Highly recommend!!!
The guys at Russos are incredibly kind and professional, they got my car back to me in better shape than it went in (and I only went in for an oil change). I couldnt be any happier with my experience! Will definitely be back anytime I need work done on my car, thanks Russos!
Of all the car service centers I have dealt with in my life, Russos is by far the best there is. One of the most important aspects when choosing a car service provider is trusting that they are doing the best they can for me and my vehicles while respecting the fact I am not made of money. Russos delivers each and every time. I know that when they recommend something, the vehicle truly needs it. Sometimes they will say it needs it, but it can wait. No one has EVER done that before! They are not there to take every dime they can or use scare tactics to jack up the price of the repair. They are honest guys looking out for their customers. So long as I live within driving distance of Western New York, I will always choose Russos for all my car servicing needs.
I really cant say enough good things about this place. I got into a car accident and wasnt sure where to go. Went off the good reviews here and Im glad I did. They came up short of the insurance estimate. they were kind and courteous, and on top of it all - they cleaned the INSIDE of my car. And not a normal cleaning, like it had to have taken an hour+ because my car was an absolute disaster. I worked with Joe, he rocked. 10/10 would go back again.
Having a mechanic you can trust is underrated. Jeff and his team do a fantastic job.Every time I take my car, or my wife’s car, I can legitimately trust Jeff and his team to only do necessary repairs, do an excellent job on those repairs/maintenance...all while being personable and explaining any issues.I just can’t recommend Russo’s auto service enough. Russos Auto Service helped inspect a used car that I bought in July 2018. They did a great job for car inspection with reasonable price. Ive driven the car for more than five months and never have any issue on it. Very professional, trustworthy and reliable!
If you are looking to get PRICE GOUGED go to Russos.About a year ago my exhaust was hanging and I had them look at it while they changed my oil. I usually spoke with Jack when I had my work done but this time a younger guy talked to me at the counter. He wrote ~$850 in pen on my oil change paperwork and told me thats how much it would cost to fix my exhaust hanging problem. That price tag caused me to put off the repair.Yesterday my muffler finally fell completely off. I took it to Muffler Man this morning and they fixed it for ~$225 in less than an hour.Take your vehicle to Muffler Man for your muffler repairs, and C & C Auto on Military for everything else. The quality of the work and the friendliness of these places are equal to or better than Russos, and YOU WILL SAVE SO MUCH MONEY. Im guessing the people who give this place good reviews either have money to spend or havent shopped around.

Wow! Can’t thank Russo’s enough! My fiancé and I were passing through Buffalo and ran over some nasty roadkill. Not only did they reattach the necessary parts on the undercarriage, but they did it right away, quickly, and for SUCH an incredible price. They were pleasant, funny, and easily the best mechanic experience I’ve ever had. Wish we lived in Buffalo so we could come here again!
Driving in today my muffler was hanging and I was frustrated as heck. I had told my dealership twice this fall I thought the car sounded loud-like my classic VW used to instead of the newer classier VDub it is.They assured me all was well with it,and practically patted me on the head to go away. I came in to Russos expecting to need a new muffler, and originally just asked if they could tie the offending part up so I could come back another day-work looming on my mind. I was shocked when 5 minutes later Jeffrey told me-with the rusted out clamp from my car in his hand that that was all I needed. Im guessing that rust was visible during the inspection, tire replacement and alignment I had done, as well as when I specifically complained about noise from the muffler area.Russos took me as a walk in. They looked at and located the issue in under ten minutes. They didnt try to sell me a whole muffler system. They had a clamp in stock, and I was out of there in under a half hour. They were all courteous, polite,and helpful. They have a customer for life. And I will be telling all how great they were.
They are the best auto service business we have ever used. They are professional, trustworthy, dependable and honest. They put great emphasis on customer service. We have been taking all our family cars there for over a decade.
First of all, I like to go to the dealer. I dont mind paying a little bit extra money to deal with people that do nothing but work on my car all day. When Im not going to the dealer though, this is my place of choice -My local Audi dealer hates my car for some reason. I have plenty of reviews up - I dont sugar coat anything. Im done with my Audi dealer though. After my dealer I took my car to the local Audi specialist who told me I need a new power steering pump. I chased them down to do the work for me (read my Blackforest review if youre interested in the details) but they never got it done. So I took the car to Russos. Russos re-diagnosed the car, found that the issue was just a clamp on the hose (which probably came loose when the dealer was working on the car) and fixed it for nothing. The only thing they charged me for was the massive cleanup that they had to do because my car had been leaking power steering fluid all over the place for months.Previous to this event, I only dealt with them once before. I had some collision work done and a timing belt changed on my Odyssey, both in one trip. Great work all around. So good that Im thinking about having them repaint my Audi...which is a $70k car btw. Not bragging, Im saying, thats how much I trust these guys to do a solid job.Id also like to mention that after just that single interaction, whenever I call, they know exactly who they are talking to. They simply know their customers. When I called about the power steering issue, they let me bring the car in right away. When I walked in, everyone remembered me. There was a work order sitting on the counter with my name and information on it, all ready to go. Very professional. Very punctual. These guys are just a joy to deal with. When my car was done, their shuttle picked me up, paid - done. I wish more business would take example from these guys, cause they are just amazing.
Another reason to love Buffalo. A pleasant experience from start to finish. Jeff was kind and professional. He listened, checked things out, and explained our costs and needs perfectly. They called when they said they were going to call. The car was finished when they said it would be finished. Highly Recommend.

2021-07-02Took my recently purchased older car here today. Jeff and staff were super courteous and honest with my cars inspection and once-over, looking for any glaring needs. It passed, and Jeff recommended we dont dive into any unnecessary repairs that may snowball into other issues. I would feel confident taking any vehicle here.

2021-12-24Russos helped me in a pinch. My car got a flat up the street from the shop and when my road side assistance didnt follow through, Russos was able to get my car because thankfully they were close! I got a ride home from a friend and my car back a few days later with a new tire. Russos was great to interact with and I was so happy that they were able to help!

2021-11-08My late husband and i started bringing our vehicles to Russos when we first moved to Buffalo in 2005. They were ready willing and able to repair our older 1st gen Prius, when the only other gig in town was a dealership. I cannot imagine bringing my car anywhere else. I think of them 1st for everything car related. This morning my unreliable MINI Cooper decided it had a headlight issue. On my way home, about an hour before they were due to go home themselves, i just swung by, unannounced and asked if they needed to order the part. They took it back and for once, it was uncomplicated and they fixed me up in less than 15 minutes and i was on my way. These guys are awesome. Bring your car to them!

I worked with Joe and he was extremely professional and super nice. The workmanship was incredible and while they touched up a few spots on my 68 Chevelle it is impossible to see where they did the work (exactly what you want) 😲) they have earned a customer for life

2021-10-17Great family owned auto service! Theyve fixed a few of my cars with normal wear and tear with small accidents that usually were dents or a broken mirror. Great working with work vehicles as well.

2020-05-11Couldn’t be happier- Joe and his team took excellent care of my vehicle when I brought it to them for some minor paint work on a piece of window trim. The vehicle is an Aston Martin and I needed the best workmanship, Russo’s provides that. It was easy to set up an appointment, and I was kept up to date when the vehicle was completed. Their price was extremely reasonable, and lower than others in the area; they have more than earned my future business and they should earn yours as well.

2019-06-12I was hesitant going to a body shop as a young female, as I feel like they are always trying to trick me into spending more money. I was putting it off for a while, until I decided to just give Russos a chance due to the positive reviews, and Ive been very happy with my decision. They are very professional and pleasant and never try to trick you. I had a guy just a few weeks before trying to push me into spending $200 on brakes, and I was shocked because they were relatively new. I had Russos look into it for me, and they reassured me that everything was fine. It is nice to find mechanics you can trust. They were priced fair, and did a great job with the boy work as well.

2019-05-21What amazing service!!! Ive had to bring my vehicle in a few times and everytime they made me feel very comfortable. They very clearly explained everything. I had brought my vehicle in to another local shop because my car wasnt starting. The other guys found nothing wrong and sent me on my way. My battery was simply dead and the other guys didnt catch it. Very frustrating. But Russos identified the issue and fixed it right away.I work downtown and they dropped me off and picked me up from work. The driver was very friendly.I hate, hate, hate taking my vehicle in. I always feel like Im getting ripped off. Not here. I had pricing explanation upfront. No surprises.They always had a smile. So friendly. I highly recommend them
